There was a meeting concerning Japan's Government officials, to discuss the event that took place recently in Neo-Tokyo. The man head of the meeting was Senator Henry Maverick of the US with all the other government officials from Japan, England, Africa, Russia, China, and Canada.

They were all seating at a round table, Henry turned off the lights. He turned his chair to the side, for his men to get a better view of the screen behind him. It showcase what seem like fighting, although it was hard to see who. He paused the video.

"I appreciate you gentlemen coming together to discuss this matter of what just occurred. As you know 5 years ago, there was an explosion that took out half of Tokyo, and from what was said about the incident. It can take out the whole world, which thankful, it stopped before it could reach the other countries and us."

"What does that have to do with the video you're trying to show us, Senator?" The England Senator George Montgomery.

"It has a lot to do with this clip, the event two years ago was caused by kids that had kinetic and psychic abilities. The disaster caused half of Tokyo to be destroyed was two of the strongest kids a boy named Akira and another Boy Tetsuo Shima… As you see in this clip."

He played the video, it showed the destruction going around. It was big blast attacks going everywhere, and when they were able to get a closer look at the people fighting. It was still blurry, but you could see the gender. Henry paused it on there.

Adam was at the meeting, and was thankful it wasn't a clear view of his little project test subject. He kept it under wraps until it was time.

"The destruction that's happening was not caused by weapons… Does anyone see a weapon on those two?" All the Senators shook there heads.

"And the looks of it a fight between what looks to be a teenage girl and boy, that has his face covered. But these kids are fighting at an unnatural speed, and they're the only two causing damage. Which means that there are more of these damn supernatural beings! Which could possibly lead to another apocalyptic destruction, but reach pass Japan and engulf the world."

The men around the table began whispering to one another, as they were quite concern about the incident. They didn't want to encounter the same situation Japan went through.

"And what do you advise we do about this? Are you suggesting this could lead to a global alert?" The Senator of Africa Faraji Abebe inquired.

"Also, even though they have… What you say supernatural abilities of mass genocide… Are we sure they are a threat, I'm a man that believes in having powerful Allies the. Powerful foes." The Senator of Russian Viktor Gorbachev advised.

"We should probably analyze the situation further gentleman. Before we do any drastic, if they aren't a threat we can leave them be, but if they may be… We need to be able to take caution and not cause them to want go to such length such as destruction." The Senator of Canada Mark Elburn chimed in.

"I agree with Mr. Elburn, we need to know what we're dealing with before we take action." The Senator of China Dong Chen agreed.

"I understand all of you gentlemens concerns and I have considered all that you have said. So that is why I brought in my trustee general, concerning a conclusion on the matter. General Adam Stone, who will secretly gather entail on the two and handle it accordingly."

Adam stood up, to make himself known to the other Senators. "Thank You! Senator Henry, your very kind and gracious… So yes, I will be going into getting information from people around Tokyo on the event that took place, and see if anyone has seen those two around."

"And just what do you plan to do if you find those two people, when the time arises… Like The Senator of Russia said, it's better to have a powerful alley compared to an enemy." The Senator of Japan Daiki Yamamoto, addressed to Adam.

Adam trying his hardest not to give him a glare, and just smiled at him nodding. "Of Course, I'm a make sure we understand what we're dealing with. If that's all right with all of you."

All the men looked at each other and then nodded, Henry Maverick grinned."Wonderful, I'm glad we all can find common ground for once. Adam, will give us daily reports on the matter to figure out what's going on. So I believe this meeting is adjourned, thank you for coming gentleman." As they were leaving the meeting, a couple of them was still discussing the situation brought to their attention. Adam had quickly fled the scene, which Daiki noticed, he glared at him behind his back.

Daiki pulled out his phone to make a quick call to a certain friend in Tokyo.

• 4 weeks Later •

Kaori was at home alone, Tetsuo doesn't want her leaving anywhere without him. Just so nothing happens to her. She was cleaning around the house, while the tv was on. She had some shopping to do, but she had to wait for her boyfriend to come back. Tetsuo had to do something with Kaneda and the guys early in the morning, only Kaneda could wake up someone who hates mornings as if they were a vampire.

As she was cleaning, something caught her ear from the the Tv. The news was on, and she discard the dishes for a moment. Drying her hands on her apron, she turned the volume up.

"This is Kimi Lee reporting that Tokyo needs to be on alert for anything suspicious concerning supernatural occurrences in Japan…" As Kaori was listening, she started feeling nauseated. She doesn't know why, she didn't have anything bad. She went to the kitchen to drink some water. Which helped a bit.

she heard a door bell ring, she froze. Was she expecting anyone, getting nervous as her stomach was turning again. "Hey Kaori it's Kei." Kei announced herself.

Kaori sighed with relief, but still wasn't feeling the greatest. She was wondering why she was here, she made her way to the door. "Coming." She was unlocking the five locks on their door, yes… They had a lot of locked for certain reasons. Finally opening the door to Kei, she came with her side bag in a black tank top and long baggy jeans and gym shoes.

Kaori felt embarrassed as she was only in a white night gown and robe. Kei hugged her, Kaori gave her room to enter. Before locking the door back with all the locks, Kei thought it was a nice small cozy place. She turned back to Kaori who finished locking the door.

"I'm guessing the lock thing was your idea to feel safe?" Kei laughed softly, Kaori blushed slightly."

"N-No… Tetsuo…" She whispered the last part. Her nausea came back up. She quickly rushed passed Kei, to the bathroom. And vomited in the toilet of all the content she had this morning.

"OMG! Kaori! Are you okay?" Kei she was about to go to the bathroom, but Kaori slowly came out making her way to the couch to sit. Kei helped her and sat next to her. Kei rested the back of her hand against Kaori's forehead and cheek.

"Kaori you're burning up! Does Tetsuo know you're not feeling well before he up and left!" Kei was a bit upset.

"N-N-No! He d-didn't know… I was fine early w-when we had breakfast." Kaori laid down on the couch sideways, she felt like passing out.

She heard Kei saying something but it was blurry… she whispered out Tetsuo's name hoping that he'll appear… but everything went dark.

Kei was worried, trying to see what was wrong. She came over to take her shopping, Tetsuo told her he didn't want her going out alone. Which Kei volunteered to be with her to help, which he agreed… Looks like there was a change of plans. She had to contact her friend Chiyoko, she knew these kinds of things. At least more than her and she had to contact Kaneda.

All the girls were playing in the gym, it was Valentine's Day in Middle School. The school wanted to do something special in the gymnasium. The girls on the bleachers, and the boys on the field near a table full of roses.

Each boy would give a rose to a girl they either care, admire, or secretly like. Kaori was sitting at the end of the bleachers, she was a bit excited with two of her friends. To see who their lucky rose guy was. As every boy was giving a rose, there were a few girls left. Including Kaori, who was hoping for someone to give her one. She noticed there weren't many roses left, and her friends got hers.

They looked at her concerned, hoping their friend gets a rose. Soon all the roses were gone, and only Kaori was left without a rose. She began tearing up and leaving the gym, she didn't know why she was hoping of getting a flower from anyone. No guy really liked her. She could hear the students laughing behind her as she was leaving. She went to the bathroom and hid in the stall, crying.

She kept hearing her name called, as she was crying.

Kaori.

Kaori…..

Kaori was slowly waking up, she was laying on her bed. She was regaining consciousness and could somewhat hear what sounded like arguing. She slowly opened her eyes slightly, she saw Tetsuo close next to her. Yelling at who it seemed to be Kaneda and Kai trying to de-escalate the situation.

"T-Tetsuo…" Kaori spoke softly, but it was enough to grab Tetsuo's attention. They noticed she was trying to sit up, Kaneda and Kai went to inform the two ladies.

"Kaori… Are you okay… Were you crying?" Tetsuo cupped her cheeks, making her blush. She nodded slightly, "I just had a bad dream I guess."

Tetsuo was glad it seemed nobody came in or hurt or nothing. Even though Kei told him they weren't attacked or harm, but he still wanted to make sure which wasn't a problem for Kei. He's quite protective of his girlfriend, and she understands.

Kaori wanted to hug Tetsuo's waist, but wasn't sure if she could. Sense there were others around. Kei and Chiyoko eventually came inside, to check up on her. Tetsuo was about to get up to give them room, but Kaori quickly stopped him.

Grabbing the hem of his jacket, he froze looking at her. She quickly let go, as it was a natural reflex for her. He noticed she wanted him to stay, so he sat back down next to her.

"It seems like it went down just a bit… She probably just caught a bug. She will just probably need to rest a bit and drink some water, as well as eat light food." Chiyoko told the three in the room.

"You said you weren't feeling like this earlier right?" Kei inquired again.

"Y-Yeah, I was fine. I-I wasn't feverish, I didn't have stomach issues or anything today… well a week ago, I was feeling a bit weird but not like sick or nothing…" Kaori explained.

Kei was wondering if it was something else, but if Chiyoko thinks it's a bug. Then she'll leave it at that. Because she didn't want to scare Kaori and put her in a panic and definitely not her boyfriend. He's been calm and quiet for the past month. Seems like the things he went through made him a bit more considerate of things. Change him in a way a bit.

"Well that's good, I was just wondering. But Chiyoko said it's probably a bug, which it does sound like… So you should be better in no time, and back on your toes." Kei smiled at her, Kaori smiled back.

"Yes so make sure you rest up." Chiyoko told her smiling, Kaori nodded. Kei and Chiyoko leaving Tetsuo and Kaori alone.

After they left and closed the door behind them. Tetsuo was caught off guard by the arms wrapped around his waist, looking down at Kaori who was resting her self in his lap. He guessed she been waiting till others weren't around, he rubbed her back up and down.

"You're sure you're fine Kaori?" Tetsuo spoke softly to her

She nodded slowly, going back into her slumber. "Yes… Will you still be here, when I wake up." Kaori asked in a hopeful tone.

"… Yeah, I'll still be here."

With that Kaori happily rested in her boyfriends arms.

Chiyoko was talking to Kei and Kaneda outside the house, happy no one really lives around them to hear.

"Have you two seen the news concerning the event that took place a couple weeks ago." Chiyoko asked.

"You mean with Tetsuo and that chick he was fighting?" Kaneda replied.

"Yes so it seems, as though there will be people looking for him and that girl. And wanted the people on the watch for it in Tokyo… So it seems your little friend can't stay hidden for long. Why did he fight in public?"

"The girl Susie, was trying to kill Tetsuo's girlfriend." Kei explained.

"Yeah and we do NOT need that shit happening! Tetsuo would've lost his damn mind, she's our secret weapon." Kaneda chimed in.

"Secret Weapon…?" Chiyoko replied confused.

"Yes, Kaori is the only person that's keeping Tetsuo calm and collected… If something happens to her it's game over for not just Tokyo, but the world… Mainly because it seems when Tetsuo got control of his powers, he's gotten stronger at the same time…. We don't know what he's capable of doing at the moment, so we're trying to be careful."

"So Tetsuo's an enemy if he's public and he's an enemy as Kabuki! There is no fucking way around this shit… FUCK!" He kicked the air.

"So what do you two want to do." Chiyoko asked, she told them beforehand if they need her, she's all in for it.

Kaneda told them he need to take a drive for a bit. They let him clear his head before they came to a decision. As he was driving he went back to the area him and Tetsuo had their talk. And just stood watching the lake, he was conflicted. Like Kaneda and them could handle everything else, but not no supernaturals. He was lucky it was Tetsuo, someone he knew. He wasn't going to force Tetsuo, even though he said he would. He knows he's still reluctant… But who could blame him, he wouldn't want that shit happening to him… And the fact he might lose control is a possibility, but they sure they can prevent it this time.

He didn't want to lose Tetsuo again, nor more of his friends dying… He didn't know what the right move would be.

"Wow, I have never seen your ass think so hard."

Kaneda already knew the only asshole, that likes to make snarky remarks. "Shouldn't you be with Kaori." Kaneda not looking back. Tetsuo came and stood right next to him, looking out at the empty sea.

"Kaori is out like a light, when she gets exhausted. She sleeps for awhile, but I can sense if she's going to wake up… So I can go by her side anytime no problem…"

Kaneda's only response is 'Mm', but then Tetsuo continued. "You know… Despite me not wanting to fight, I'm not given much of a choice…"

Kaneda picked up a rock and threw it in the water, "There's always a choice."

"Oh yeah… What are my options." Tetsuo used his powers to fling the rock, making it skip farther than Kaneda's. He smirked at him, Kaneda smiled rolling his eyes.

"Well option one, you can go back to being a psychotic evil asshole. Option two be a sane helpful asshole. Third option… go back into hiding and not be seen out whatsoever." Kaneda looked at Tetsuo, arms folded.

"Only one sounds like the right move… *sigh* Like I said before, I'll help. You'll need me to save your ass."

"Yeah right, I can take care of shit myself! I don't need your damn powers."

"Yeah that's not what I read before coming out here." Tetsuo smirked, heading back to his bike. Kaneda hated how he can read minds, he followed after him. Getting to his bike. They both rev there engines.

"So, what you gonna do." Tetsuo looked at him, Kaneda noticed he didn't have his mask on, Kaneda smirked at him. Guess Tetsuo made his decision, now it's Kaneda's.

"What do you think… We're going to fight those bastards with all the manpower we can get. This is our fucking city and home, if they think they can just up and take it. They have another thing coming… The only difference though." Kaneda added before driving off, they looked at each other.

"They don't have a badass best friend." Kaneda sped off, leaving a speechless Tetsuo who just smirked. Driving off meeting with Kaneda riding next to him, on the open road.

"Let's kick some ass!" They shouted out loud together and side fist bump, and headed back to where everyone is at to prepare what's coming.
