As The boy was returned home, he got off the bike and hugged his uncle. Before running off to his house, his mother was waiting for him at the door.

"You stay out of trouble you hear me Haruki!" His uncle shouted to him.

"Thank you for dropping him off Kaneda."

"No problem Kaori, I always enjoy having a little distraction every now and again. With that Kaneda drove off, back to his owned motorcycle shop. Kaori closed the door, and locking it before turning to go back into the kitchen.

"Guess what Ojisan told me!" Haruki was bouncing on the couch. His mother gave a slight hum, as she was preparing there dinner letting him know she was listening.

"He told me Oyaji can see the FUTURE! Is that true?" Haruki asked in excitement, he loved hearing stories about his father from his uncle. He only told them the ones that was okay to tell, he didn't get information on how his father was when he was younger.

His mother walked over to the dining room, setting their food down on the table. "How about you stop bouncing on our furniture and come sit down and eat."

He did as he was told, running to the table with his backpack. He took out his tablet, to watch a video before having it snatched away.

"Hey!" Haruki pouted.

"I thought you wanted to know if it was true or not that your father could see the future?" Kaori looked at her son happily.

"Well yeah… So… Is that true?" Haruki was playing with his food before taking a bite of his pasta.

"I wouldn't say he could have seen the future per se…But he had visions of certain events. Whether they became a reality or not was a different story, who knows it can always change. Your father was very gifted but it had its flaws." Kaori smiled at her son.

Haruki returned the smile, but quickly transitioned to sadness. "Okaasan… When will Oyaji come home."

She could in his voice he was trying to hold back is tears and stop himself from crying. Kaori sighed sadly, before peeking back up, she has to be strong for their child. Sense Tetsuo isn't around, "I don't know Haruki, but… When he does, he's going to do so many things with you. We'll go to the playground, arcade, amusement park, and all those other amazing things."

"R-Really!?" Haruki asked with a bit more upbeat, whipping his eyes.

"Yes, and maybe he'll even show you his powers as well." Kaori smiled at how giddy her son got just from the thought his father would show him cool stuff about his power.

"Now hurry and finish so you can take a bath. So that you can go to bed and get ready for school tomorrow." Kaori told him, as they were finishing up there dinner.

Haruki quickly took his bath, and after rushed in his nightwear getting into his bed. Kaori gave her son a kiss goodnight before closing the door behind her.

Next Morning

Haruki was fully ready for school, he was about to run late. So he rushed and grabbed a piece a toast and his skateboard.

He left skateboarding to school, not hearing his mother call out to him. Before he skated away. He was skating around the neighborhood of New Tokyo to his school.

He greeted all of his neighbors and friends from the neighborhood. Tokyo was just out about rebuilt from the incidents prior years, everyone slowly and eventually moved on from the previous events. Haruki was never told much about the previous events from his Mother or Auntie.

So the only man he could pry them out of was his Uncle Kaneda. Because he seemed to know a lot about his father, even more than his mother. He was getting some practice tricks in while trying to catch the bell of his school.

he quickly made it pass the school gates as the bell rang. Haruki smirked as he did a new record in speed, "Hey Shima!"

Haruki turned to the person that called him, was his best friend Arima Takami. "Hey Takami!" They did their secret handshake. Before continuing inside the building, walking together as they shared the same class.

"OH! Hey so I was scrolling through the web and I found out something about your dad?" Takami pulled out his touch phone, to find his history. He handed Haruki the phone. Although Haruki pushed the phone away gently.

"I don't think I want to know… I don't really want to talk about it." Haruki told him with a sour expression.

"Sorry bro touchy subject." Takami put his phone away, as they finally made it inside there classroom.

"Well if it isn't lil demon Shima." One of the little boys said, making the other boys laugh. "Just ignore them bro, they're just trying to get under your skin." Takami told him, as he sat behind Haruki in class.

Haruki just grumbled while ignoring them and taking out his materials. He can hear what the kids were mumbling about. But the worse part is being able to read there thoughts. It was hard and frustrating to deal with, but he would never tell his mother. If she knew the stuff he was able to do, it'll only stress her out.

First class was over, and as Haruki and Takami was leaving the class. The other kids circled him

Haruki sighed, "Cmon Yuki I just want to go to class can we not do this."

"Or what demon shima, you're going to use your fathers demon powers to hurt me." Yuki and the other kids started cackling. Kids started gathering.

"That's not funny Yuki." Takami stood in his face

As Kaori was cleaning the house, till she got a phone call from her house phone. She dried her hands on her apron, before answering the phone on her night stand.

"Shima residence!" Kaori answered the phone happily.

"Good Morning Mrs. Shima, My name is Doctor Honoka from Yoyogi Hospital. I was calling to see if you had time to discuss in person concerning the diagnosis you asked for for his unusual constant headaches. We discovered something phenomenal, he really is a special lil one!" The doctor spoke excitedly.

"Oh o-okay, it's nothing serious though right?" Kaori asked worriedly.

"Oh my most definitely not Mrs. Shima, it's something I'm sure you're familiar with. Are you free right now?"

"Yes I am, I'll get ready and head straight there, thank you Doctor Honoka." Kaori then hung up the call, and began getting ready.

Yuki shoved Takami hard against the lockers out of the way. Making him curl in pain.

"Hey!" Haruki shoved Yuki, who gave him a scowl that matched Haruki. Then Yuki noticed a necklace key around his neck. He quickly snatched it up pulling Haruki towards him.

"Cool necklace, let me have it and I'll let you and your minion go unscathed." Yuki grinned. Haruki was trying to pull out of his grip.

"No! It's my Oyaji's key to his motorcycle. My Ojisan gave it to me for safe keeping, and when I'm older I can have his ride." Haruki and Yuki was tugging, till Yuki finally broke the necklace holding it. The other boys knocked him down and then kicked him.

"Aww boo hoo, all the more reason. We should probably throw it away. My family told me about your Oyaji, nothing but a monster and menace to Tokyo."

Haruki was on his knee holding his side, his head started hurting. "G-Give I-It… Back." Teachers were about to come and break up the crowd and fighting.

"You should've disappeared along with your Oyaji. Oh better yet he probably did it, just to get away from you." The boys and kids started cackling. Haruki stood up, he was furious. Veins forming on his forehead, the ground and walls cracked around him.

"GIVE IT BACK!" Haruki roared causing his powers to trigger. Slamming the boy's against the wall down the hall breaking it. Along with the lights in the hallway and his surroundings. Causing the kids to scream and run.

"S-Shima, s-stop calm down." Takami hugged him. Which surprisingly, he did. Then coming back to reality, and looking upon the scene horrified and terrified. He saw his necklace on the ground, quickly grabbing it. He pushed his friend away, backing up slowly looking around the kids. That was avoiding him out of fear.

He began tearing up, and ran off before teleporting from the scene. The last thing he heard was Takami calling out to him.

At the Motorcycle shop, Mizuki was ringing up a customer that paid for a motorcycle.

"We'll have that ready and delivered to you in a week. Thank you for shopping at Capsule Cycle." Mizuki gave his goodbye. Then there was a ring from the shops phone, Mizuki picked up the phone.

"Capsule Cycle, where you can find the ride that can take you on a journey. How may we assist?"

As Mizuki was taking the call Kaneda and Kai was in the bike. Trying to fix up a few motorcycles for there clients while a couple of the workers were on a break.

Kaneda walked over to Kai who looked like he was struggling. "Do you need some help man?" He smirked.

Kai grunted, trying to tighten a bolt on the motorcycle, "N-No!" He replied with a struggle.

Then Mizuki busted in, "Kaneda! The principle from Haruki's school is on the phone… S-Something happened, he wanted to speak with you."

Kaneda and Kai looked at him worried, and wondered what could have happened. Kaneda cleaned off his hand and followed after Mizuki, he took the phone.

"Hello?"

"Yes is this Kaneda Shotaro, Haruki's uncle?"

"This is he. Did something happen to Haruki!?"

"Well… Yes and no. I would more so say, something he did…"

"What did he do?"

•••

"Kai, Mizuki watched the shop! I have to go and find Haruki!" Kaneda went to his red bike, he revved the vehicle and drove off. As he was driving down New Tokyo, he had got a phone call. It was none other than Kaori.

He pressed the answer button on his bike to answer the call, "Wassup Kaori?"

"Kaneda! So I just left the hospital I took Haruki too. Y-You remember when he kept having headache issues…? W-Well, they ask to speak with me today concerning an update. S-So l-long story short he may have inherited T-Tetsuo's powers… I-I don't know what to do, I didn't think he would."

"Fuck. I'm guessing this isn't a great time to tell you what happened at the school."

"W-What happened at the school?" Kaori froze in her walk.

Haruki was sitting in an abandon building on the far side of Tokyo. Curled into himself hiding in his face in his knees. Bawling his eyes out. He felt something buzz in his backpack.

He grabbed his backpack and pulled out his tablet. He was getting a phone call from his uncle Kaneda, he contemplated whether to answer it or not. Before finally deciding to push the answer button.

"Heyyy, I didn't know if you would answer or not Kiddo." Kaneda spoke through the other side of the phone.

"…"

"Cmon Kid tell me what's wrong… What happened?"

The only response Kaneda got was a few sniffles, before finally hearing Haruki crying loudly. "T-T-They t-tried to… To t-take my… K-Key necklace… A-And said that… t-that… M-My Oyaji was a-a monster… A-And disappeared, b-because he didn't w-w-want meee!" Haruki told him through cries and wails. As Kaneda listen his grip on his bike tighten, he was beyond furious those veil ass brats that provoked Haruki. Then had the audacity to talk about his father, knowing damn well how that affects him.

"Haruki… Do you think those things them lil terds said about your father was true…?"

sniffling and muffled sounds*

"Tetsuo… Had his issues in the past when we were younger… Hell A LOT of issues, not excluding myself, but… That doesn't mean people can't change. Many things happened before you were thought of and after… Tetsuo wasn't the monster, it was the ones that experimented on him… He still was trying to figure himself out… I'm not the best or feel like it's my place to talk on his behalf… I'm sure you can ask him yourself when he comes ba-"

"HE'S NOT COMING BACK!" Haruki yelled echoing through the building. There was silence for a minute on the line.

"I thought that to… Till he returned 5 years later after certain events… We don't know if he'll come back or when… I know one thing, he was excited about having a family and if anything happened… He wanted to make sure you and your mother was comfortable and secured in his absence, he didn't want you to have the childhood and upbringing he had… He didn't want you to grow up thinking no one wanted you or cared about you like we do… So he didn't disappear because he didn't want you Haruki… He only wanted to protect you and your mother… That I can say for sure was the truth."

Haruki listened to what was said and processed the information. His eyes were full of tears and red, to hold to the idea that his father cared about him. And did everything he could to protect them and have them live a comfortable life. Haruki was happy to have his Mother, Family, and friends to help ease his pain of the disappearance of his father.

"I know you're confused, sad, and frustrated kid. Trust me I've been there, it would really help if you told me where you were… I can comfort you…"

Kaneda got silence from the other line.

"I can also finish telling you the story as well, deal?" Kaneda on the other line, heard rustling sounds on his phone.

"Okay, but only if you promise not to tell Okaasan and it's just you… I'm scared on how she'll react and the others." Haruki finally replied.

"I promise." Kaneda smiled, as well as sighed of relief.

As Haruki was sitting on top of rubble at an abandon building. He heard rusting sound at the buildings garage entrance.

"HARUKI!" Kaneda called out, Haruki waved his hand alerting him where he was.

Kaneda approached to where he was, trying to get around the rubble. Sitting himself right next to Haruki, who pulled into a hug on his lap.

Haruki melted into the hug, and began crying again into his shirt. Kaneda was running circles on his back and rubbing his head.

"It's okay Kid. If I was there I would've beat those kids up, when Tetsuo comes back we're going to give that school a piece of our mind." Kaneda joked, Haruki did a breathy laugh. At the idea, it was nice to know his uncle still believe his father was coming back.

"B-But I'm the o-one that attacked them… M-My Pow-"

"You didn't start it, they did. If anything they knew better than to mess with a psychic's kid." Kaneda smiled down at Haruki gave him his best smile.

"You promised to continue the story. This time you have to finish it or I'm not going back home… I-I'll run away, a-and… and if my Oyaji does come back… I'm a tell him it's your fault." Haruki pouted, his eyes and face still red and puffy from crying.

Kaneda laughed so hard it almost made him tear up, "Sure kid, the last thing I need is Tetsuo beating my ass for not looking after you… So where did we leave off at."

"He can see the future." Haruki smiled snuggling into his uncles lap.

"Oh yea right of course." Kaneda returned the smile.
