Zatanna loves her boyfriend. She really really does. She absolutely adores him. However, he can be…very frustrating.

They had been dating for over three years now. In a few months, they'd both graduate high school. Dick had been floating around the idea of going to college and maybe earning a law degree. He'd already memorized a fair amount of US felony laws due to the…..family business. So, he sent out some applications and was just waiting on interview requests. Zatanna, on the other hand, still hadn't really figured out what to do post-graduation. After her sophomore year, she had transferred to Gotham Academy to be closer to Dick. Although officially she still lived at Mount Justice, she spent pretty much all her time living at the mansion and sleeping next to Dick. Speaking of sleeping, over the years, Zatanna began noticing certain…..physical changes to her body. She was getting a little taller, but also curvier. She started working out with Dick and all those squats actually made her butt a little bigger. Some of her old shirts didn't fit anymore because of her…..new chest. That wasn't all. She noticed the physical changes to Dick's body as well….

Somehow in three years, Dick shot up like a redwood. He now stood a good two inches above her. He also bulked up a lot to fill out his new frame. His shoulders broadened and his muscles were carefully sculpted and toned. All those squats made his butt bigger too, which she really appreciated. He also started to trim his hair a bit. Gone was the messy boy band mop of hair. Now, he sported a more refined crew cut.

When they were younger, Zatanna often just playfully pinched and poked Dick for fun and giggles. Now, she couldn't keep her hands off him. Like when they worked out, she loved staring at him as the light bounced off him and his sweat rolled down his face and neck. Or when he was intensely concentrating, he pus his thumb and index finger on his chin and furrowed his brow. Zatanna knew she had a habit of biting her bottom lip when she was turned on, but lately she had been biting so hard and often, she accidentally drew blood at one point.

"Hiya Zee!"

Dick ran his hand through his still wet hair and stretched a little. Zatanna swooned and could have died right there.

"Yea. Pretty good. I took a little longer than usual though. Bruce really gave me a run for my money on the court. Well….my money is technically his money…..but still!"

"Haha who ended up winning?"

"Bah He blocked my shot and a put up a three to end it. You wouldn't believe it. When he shot the ball, he turned around and didn't even see it go in. It was like he just knew he made the shot…. Honestly, it's bizarre seeing him so….happy."

"Must be Diana's influence then."

"Probably. So, what are you up to?"

(Hoping you'll take me right here on this kitchen counter) "Oh not much. I was watching 'Penn and Teller's Fool Me' to kinda sneer at these so-called magic tricks. And actually….some were pretty neat."

"Oh? That's cool. But honestly, they'd never be able to compete with you and your dad."

"Yea, I mean my dad and I have a very distinct advantage haha. But sometimes we kept it simple. Just a subtle slight of hand or misdirection. Honestly, I could actually learn from a few of these trick magicians in that department. I can't always be reliant on magic."

"That's true. As you said, sometimes it's more fun doing things the normal way. Alright, I gotta go, Wally booked the Top Golf reservation for three o'clock."

"You just finished basketball to go play golf? Jumping from one sport to the next?"

"Haha but Zee, Top Golf is essentially a driving range. It'll just be me, Conner, Wally, and Kal teeing up and hanging out."

"Alright alright. Have fun."

"Of course. I'll text you when I'm coming back."

He gave her a quick kiss and was off. In the meantime, Zatanna changed tabs on her phone. While she really was watching some Penn and Teller videos, she was also looking up prices for a few secrets…. from Victoria.

Again, Zatanna absolutely, unequivocally loves her boyfriend. He is her reason for getting up in the morning even though he usually pins her down begging for more cuddles and sleep. She loves his eyes, his lips, his hair, his heart and so much about him. However, the man can be as dense as a rock.

For at least a month now, Zatanna had been trying to take her and Dick's relationship to the next level of intimacy. They'd been comfortable changing in front of each other for a while. And sometimes, to Dick's slight annoyance, she casually took clothes from his closet including T-shirts, hoodies, and even jackets. To hopefully take it up a notch, she'd stopped wearing shorts or pants altogether when they were alone in his room. Dick came home late. He and the others had a real good guys' night out and capped things off at a downtown steakhouse. They probably could have stayed out a little later, but Dick wanted at least a little shuteye before going on patrol tonight and Wally was late on his college paper, again. The light to his room was off. He texted Zee earlier that he'd be home a little late and that she shouldn't wait up. Quietly he opened the door and tried to tip toe towards the bathroom.

*CLICK*

Someone had turned on the end table lamp. Dick turned around thinking he should apologize for waking her up.

"Hey, babe. Sorry to wake you….HOLY SHIT!"

Zatanna sat in his (their) bed with her back leaning on the headboard, one leg straight and the other bent and crossed over with the other. She was smirking and licking her lips.

"Hey there…big boy," she purred in the most sultry tone she could muster up.

Dick could not believe what she was wearing….or rather how much she was not wearing. All Zatanna had on were a matching set of black-and-white lacey bra and panties, fishnet stockings, and a white bowtie to cap it all off.

"Whatcha…hehe Whatcha doin there Zee?"

"I'm just waiting for my boyfriend to get home. You haven't seen him…. have you?"

She got up from the bed and slowly walked towards Dick like a panther slowly stalking its prey.

When Zatanna grabbed and squeezed his ass, Dick actually jumped and grabbed her arms.

Zee pulled him into a heated kiss. Their tongues immediately began clashing trying to assert dominance over the other. Dick pulled on her thighs and lifted her up. Instinctively she wrapped her legs around him. She then helped him shrug his jacket onto the floor all while maintaining the kiss. They separated slightly gasping for air.

"Bed…..take me to bed," she commanded.

After their raucous activities, Dick and Zee happily and mindlessly made out on their bed. Finally exhausted, Dick rolled to his side of the bed but still faced Zee. She shivered slightly thanks to his efforts but also because the room was a little cold. He pulled the covers over them and wrapped them tightly together in a little burrito.

"You were so good, Dick. I can't feel my legs. For our first time, God, you were such an animal."

"You were, man, I can't even describe it, Zee. You were perfect."

"I love you so much, Dick! I mean it. All I want to do is just lay in bed with you and kiss you and….do all those things with you again."

"Haha I feel the same way, Zee. But uh let me catch my breath first, ok?"

The pair relaxed into the bed, gradually got their breathing back to normal, and just cuddled in silence enjoying the afterglow.

"Hey, Dick?"

"Hmm?"

"You know how I said I could learn from Penn and Teller?"

"You want to learn about sex from Penn and Teller?"

"What? No, you dork!...I meant about magic tricks."

"…What do you mean?"

"Then we'll make time. We made a promise to each other years ago that we'd always come back to each other. You are my world, Zee. Because you live, there are always twice as many stars in the sky. Besides, now that we've finally had sex, I don't think I could go a day without being in bed with you."

"Hahah down boy. I'm pretty sure you had me seeing stars earlier. But ok. I'll give it a shot. Thank you, Dick for being so…..so…perfect."

"You are my everything, Zee. I love you."

They shared a sweet kiss before resting their foreheads against each other basking in the comfort of their love. Gently, Zatanna felt something poking her thigh.

"Dick? Is that…."

"Yup. You ready for round two?"
