Be Peter Pan and Wendy
Something felt wrong. Something felt terribly wrong. Zatanna began sweating and shivering. There was a vile taste in her mouth. The air she breathed in felt toxic. Everything just felt unbalanced. She realized that her favorite strong warm arms weren't holding her. No matter. He probably just retired to his side of the bed. She rolled over expecting to feel his bare chest. All she grabbed were cool rumpled bedsheets. Panicking, Zatanna sat up and immediately looked around the room.
"Dick…..DICK?!" she yelled.
With speed that rivaled the Flash, Dick rushed back into the bedroom holding a spatula and wearing his boxers.
"Zee? Zee! What's wrong?" he asked approaching the bed.
"Dick? Oh, thank God! I thought you were gone," she cried scooting closer to the edge of the bed to hug him.
"Shhh I've got you. I was just making breakfast."
She held him tightly and rubber her cheek against his abs. She took a deep breath sniffing and huffing his scent finding every single piece of evidence that proved her beloved was standing right here in this very room with her.
"Zee, what's going on? Are you ok?"
"I-I don't know. I've been feeling weird. And scared of something. I feel out of balance."
"Is there anything I can help you with?"
"Probably not? I'm not really sure."
"Maybe you've just got some jitters. Um because today's the day."
Her eyes widened. Today. She had completely forgotten what today was. How could she have forgotten? Today was one of the worst days of her life that she looked forward to every single year. She buried her face into Dick's torso sobbing wildly. Disappointment filled her heart.
"Oh my God, Dick. How could I forget? It completely slipped my mind!"
"Hey hey, it's ok," he reassured kneeling down to hold her.
"No, it's not ok! Dammit, how could I forget about meeting my father?! How could I forget this crucial appointment? I only have an hour with him, Dick. God I'm a horrible daughter."
"No, baby no," he cooed stroking her hair, "You've just been busy that's all. You've got your shows, and we've had Team missions here and there. You've got a lot on your plate. If anything, your father would be so proud to see you thriving."
"But I can't give up on him like this! I won't abandon him!"
"I'm not saying you are. We're never gonna give him up. We're never gonna let him down. I'm just saying that he'd understand. Besides, I remembered. I've got you. I will always help you just like you'd always help me."
Dick wiped her eyes and kissed her on the forehead as she finally calmed down. She pecked him on the lips and pulled him into a warm hug.
"Thank you, baby," she whispered in his neck, "I'd be lost without you."
"Same here, Zee. Now c'mon, let's freshen up, my bacon's about to burn."
Walking hand-in-hand, Dick and Zee approached a tall willow tree. Its leaves and branches stretched far and wide almost creating a giant natural umbrella. He parted the leaves and let Zatanna walk in first. The shade under the tree cooled the couple as they awaited the third member of this party.
"We're not late, are we? Or maybe he was too early? You know how little patience he has!" Zee worried.
"Calm down, Zee. We're actually the ones early. Just give him a second."
Making Dick look like a prophet, a bright gold ankh appeared before them. From the light, Doctor Fate emerged and landed on the soft grass.
"You remember the terms of our agreement," he asked.
"Yes. One hour," Zatanna replied coldly.
Accepting her answer, Fate removed his helmet revealing a tired Giovanni Zatara. He smiled softly showing small wrinkles on his forehead and crow's feet by his eyes. He wasn't old just yet, but small streaks of gray were starting to appear on his once ink black hair. At this change, Zatanna's hard glare softened. Tears slowly leaked out from her eyes as she lunged forward.
"Daddy!" she croaked leaping into his arms.
"Zatanna! My darling."
Dick smiled slowly backing out of the willow tree leaving father and daughter to have their moment.
"My child, I am so happy to see you. You have grown so much this past year."
"Thank you, Daddy. But you look tired. The helmet is taking a toll on you. I should be working harder to free you!"
"No, Zatanna. Do not worry about me. I chose this path, and I shall continue to walk it so long as you are able to live your own life. Now, tell me how you are doing. When Richard visited to play chess the other day, I purposely asked him to omit any updates from the past two months so that we may chat."
"Hehe, knowing him, he probably left out at least half a year's worth of stories."
"Well then, we've got a lot of catching up to do! What's this about you being on television?"
"Oh my gosh, yes! I was invited to do a set on David Endocrine!"
"Endocrine? As in Late Night Endocrine? Oh, how marvelous!"
"Yea it was really fun! He invited me to sit down and interview. Things were going great until Joker attacked."
"What?!"
"Don't worry, Dick and I took him down easy. And David has invited me as a recurring guest! My popularity is rising, Daddy!"
"That's fantastic! But you know I worry."
"Yes, and I love that you do."
"Has Richard been treating you well?"
"Perfectly. He's been amazing. I love him, Daddy."
"I know, Piccola, I know. He's grown into a fine young man. He makes you happy."
"He really does. He's just a gift that keeps on giving."
"Speaking of gifts, you aren't uhhh well…."
"Hmm?"
"You aren't errr pregnant, are you?"
"What? No of course not! Dick and I are very careful."
"Forgive me if I have my doubts, Zatanna. You and he are very…impulsive."
"Daddy! Can we please not talk about my sex life?!" Zatanna scolded while blushing.
"Haha I'm sorry, my child. You are still young, so I want you to thrive and life to your fullest potential before reaching that stage of life."
Dick rested afar on a park bench. Hotdog in hand, he watched as father and daughter savored their moment together. A bittersweet smile crept onto his face. While glad that he was able to secure this arrangement with Nabu years back, he wished he could have done more. He had been hoping the weekly chess matches would soften the Lord of Order and allow them more leeway but wearing down a spirit that lived for thousands of years can be tricky. Even so, he still pressed on. Anything to support his beloved Zatanna.
As their hour began to wind down to the final few minutes, Giovanni grasped Zatanna's hand and his face turned solemn.
"Zatanna, before I go, I must warn you. Something is happening in the magical world. Something terrible."
"Daddy? What do you mean?"
"You felt it too, haven't you?"
Hesitating a little, Zatanna looked away from her father's eyes. Biting her cheek, she held in her answer before sighing and spilling the beans.
"I haven't been sleeping well. N-not because of Dick's and my errr activities, but I've been getting this weird feeling. It feels like the world is unbalanced. Like dark energy is slowly permeating into this world."
"Nabu and I feel it too. There are dark forces at play. We don't know what just yet. But something is coming. Zatanna, you must be ready."
"You'll be there to help, right?"
"Of course, but even so, you must prepare yourself. We must stop this evil before it grows too much."
"Absolutely. I will do so."
"Good. Now then. I apologize for the somber note, but I must take my leave."
"I-I understand," she sniffled.
"Goodbye, Piccola. I love you so so much."
"I love you too, Daddy. Be safe. Make sure Nabu doesn't push you too far."
"Of course. Give Richard my best."
With that, Giovanni placed the helmet on his head and vanished leaving Doctor Fate in his place. Zatanna whimpered and sniffled looking away from the cruel prison warden.
"Do not cry, child. Giovanni is doing the universe a great service allowing me to remain in this realm and protect it."
"Pft. Whatever."
"Heed his warning, Zatanna Zatara. If left alone, this darkness may very well destroy the world. Open your eyes and listen to the signs. We are not the only ones trying to make you aware."
At that last statement, Fate clapped his hands and vanished back to his tower. Zatanna collapsed into the soft grass and sobbed loudly. In an instant, Dick was behind her and held her tightly.
"Shhh baby, shh. It's ok I've got you," he tried to calm her down.
"I hate it, Dick! I hate it! One hour is never enough."
"We'll figure something out. Nabu is a stick-in-the-mud but nothing's impossible."
"Did you see him? He looks so tired. I don't think Nabu lets him rest."
"Nabu can't be that cruel. Besides, I check up on them often. Everything is fine, ok?"
"Ok…." she sniffled.
It was always like this. Nabu would release Giovanni for an hour then leave Zatanna a crumpled sobbing mess. Sometimes she wondered why she even bothered to meet her father like this if each appointment left her in so much pain. This so-called anniversary felt more like a yearly memorial. Luckily, Dick was there to take her mind off things. The first year after their high school graduation, all she wanted was to go home and fuck. So, he obliged, and they made love till the next morning. The next year, she asked again to just play in bed, but he refused. He wanted her to slowly cope with the pain, but not by sex. So, he took her to see "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of the Shadows" and they laughed at how much Stephen Amell looked like Oliver Queen. This year, she didn't even bother asking for something to do. Instead, he just took her hand and she climbed onto his motorcycle. Normally, they'd just drive in their car, but Dick felt that she'd want to feel the wind on her face. She hugged him tightly from behind and rested her face on his jacket. As he started the bike, she closed her eyes and breathed in his aftershave. He was right. The wind felt nice. They rode for probably half an hour. He didn't speed through the street or weaved through traffic like he normally did. The ride was smooth and serene. When he turned, he gently handled the corner. No tire screeches or drifting. Just the slow hum of the engine. She opened her eyes as she felt the bike stop. Looking up, she noticed that they had stopped at a bowling alley. He helped her off the bike and led her into the Lucky Strike. There was a crowd, but it wasn't noisy. Some lanes had families as well as young high schoolers hanging out on a Friday afternoon. The speakers blared out "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran. To cheer her up a little he grabbed her hips and swayed them with his to the beat. She smiled a little softening the tension she'd been feeling all day. Dick went over and rented some shoes. She sat down on the bench at lane eight as he went to grab the balls. She stared at the wood panel floor until she heard beeping at the panel. He was entering their names onto the scoreboard.
"You're really putting Nightwing up there?" she asked with a small grin.
"Not like anyone will notice."
"At least be a little more discreet."
"Alright alright."
So, he changed it to "Gniwthgin" and gave her the name "Annataz."
"Better?" he stuck his tongue out, "I'll even let you go first!"
"My my quite the gentleman."
She picked up her lavender bowling ball and held it for a moment.
"Care for a friendly wager?" she asked.
"What did you have in mind?"
"Hmmm winner gets to be on top tonight."
"I don't mind."
"Actually no. I get the feeling that you'll purposely lose so that you can put me on top. Let's change it."
"Alright."
"Let's go with, loser has to agree to whatever ridiculous request the winner decides. And the winner has twenty-four hours to figure out what request to ask. That way it doesn't become too weird and there's a time limt."
"A deal's a deal. Now bowl!"
Zatanna's first frame ended in a 7-10 split netting her eight points. Dick, touting his ridiculous geometry brain, rolled a strike, then another, then another. Halfway through the frame, the score was 78 to 54 in Dick's favor. She tried to be pouty and considered using magic. But that wouldn't be fair, and Dick looked adorable when he was winning. However, for some reason, the next two frames ended up scoreless for Dick. He "slipped," and the ball went into the gutter in one frame. Then he stepped over the line on the next negating his score completely for the next one. Zatanna eyed him a little but all he did was shrug.
"Clumsy me! Hehehe," he tried to brush it off.
In all the years she had known him, Dick Grayson had never been clumsy, at least not without purpose. By then end, somehow Zatanna edged out a victory 110 to 109. Again, she smelled something fishy about his sudden drop off in skill, but she knew he just wanted to make her feel good, so she let it slide. To cap off the day, Dick ordered some nachos and chicken tenders. The cheese tasted plastic and the tenders were definitely fried in old oil. But she didn't care. She had him and he was all she needed.
Night had fallen on the city, and they decided for a cool stroll around the block. She clung to his arm and rested her head on his should as he tried to match her gait. It was quiet which was odd for Bludhaven. No police sirens, no bank alarms, no screams of peril. Just the gentle breeze and light footsteps of the young couple. She was in bliss clinging onto her soulmate. She closed her eyes before he abruptly stopped. She was irked forward a bit and then looked back at him.
"Dick?" she asked worriedly.
He stood frozen gazing at a sight to the side. She looked over and understood his uneasiness. Out in the distance was a clearing with a bright red and white swirled circus tent. She reached out and grabbed his hand.
"You ok?" she whispered.
"Hmm? Yea yea, uh, I'm fine really," he answered but wipes some tears onto his sleeve.
She looked back and forth between her somber boyfriend and the circus tent. She was reminded of the many nights in bed together when he'd toss and turn and sometimes mumbled his parents' names. He'd wake up in a sweat and she'd have to hold him to ease his fears. Finding some resolve, she tugged at his sleeve and pulled him towards the tent.
"Wahh. Zee!"
"Keep up, Dick! I wanna check it out!"
"It's ok really. I'm fine!"
"This is my request."
"Huh?"
"I'm cashing in my bowling win. Come with me and check out the tent. Please?" she asked him blinking her beautiful blue eyes.
Never one to say no to his girlfriend, Dick picked up his feet and ran with her to the tent. The colors had faded, and the fabric had torn here and there. Yet, the Big Top still stood tall and somewhat proud. He placed a hand on the fabric wall looking up at the little flag flapping at the tip of the tent. Zatanna tugged his sleeve again urging him to come with her inside.
"Huh. It's a little dark. This place is old too. Wonder how long it's been here," she pondered.
"I dunno. Been here a while probably."
"Hey, Dick, is there any way you could get the lights."
"Uhh sure. Hopefully the generator still works."
Sure enough a few kicks later, the generator hummed, and the bright lights shined after their long hiatus. Despite the shoddy appearance outside of the tent, the inside had aged much better. The seats and bleachers still looked pretty solid with minimal rust. The barriers stood tall and intact. The sand in the middle of the ring laid smooth and untouched. Dick ignored all of that though. Instead, he looked high above at the trapeze platforms and columns. The wood strong and sturdy. The cables taught and sure. He smiled as the bittersweet memories of his childhood flood his mind. Seeing the tears fall from his face, Zatanna quickly intervened.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" she announced from the middle of the ring, "For tonight and tonight only, may I present the most dashing, the most handsome, the sexiest acrobat slash police detective in this universe! He's got blue eyes that make diamonds blush, a smile so bright satellites can pick up the blip from space, bedroom skills so fantastic I, his lovely girlfriend, am never able to walk afterwards. Folks, I give you our headlining act, Dick Grayson! Rahh Rahh Woo hooo!"
After her raucous introduction to the empty crowd, Dick cracked just a hint of a smile.
"What are you doing, Zee?"
"Just peeking into your world a little bit. I'm no stranger to crowds but being center stage like this must have been thrilling."
"Yea, it was something," he said putting his hands in his pockets, "They would've loved you y'know."
"Hmm?"
"My parents. I wish you could've met them. My dad would welcome you with open arms. Mom would too, but then she'd think you were a little too thick and tell you to lose some weight."
"Hey!" she scolded smacking him on the arm, "You're one to talk. You love this ass."
"Hehe, yea."
He looked up at the trapeze one more time as an idea hit him. He took off his jacket and left it on a nearby bench.
"Hey, Zee. You ever fly before?"
"Huh? Well duh, levitating spell, remember?"
"No, I mean, really fly. Soaring through the air. Wind in your face blowing your hair."
"Uhh I guess by your criteria no. Why?"
"What do you enjoy most about floating with your spell? What's the one thing you remember the most about using it?"
"I like that I feel like wings have sprouted on my back. I like the feeling of being weightless."
"Take off your jacket."
"H-huh? H-here? Uh Dick, I mean while we've done it in weirder spots like that Ferris wheel a while ago, but the ground's kinda sandy here. I don't think either of us would be comfortable."
"No, silly," he said climbing the ladder partway up the trapeze tower.
"Dick?"
"Do you trust me?" he asked extending a hand out to her.
"Always," she smiled placing her jacket next to his.
They climbed to the top of the platform. A bucket of chalk sat in the corner. Dick grabbed a handful and rubbed it all over his palm. He took her hands and coated them in the powder. She gave him an uneasy look not entirely sure what he was planning.
"Y'know, my mother used to tell me the story of Peter Pan and Wendy before every performance. We'd climb up to the platform just like this and look up at the sky. On clear nights, Mr. Haly had a fancy tent with a hole in the ceiling. He said that he made the tent like that so God and all our loved ones could watch us perform from heaven."
Luckily in this particular tent, there was a ripped hole in the ceiling giving Dick and Zee a perfect view of the starry night.
"Everyone always said that Peter used faith, trust, and pixie dust to fly. My mom said they always missed the most important part. Peter flew with purpose. He wanted to chase the stars. He'd fly so fast and so far while chasing these stars that he'd lose his shadow. And that's how he ended up in Wendy's room. So, before every performance, she'd tell me to look at the stars, particularly the second star to the right. To give my best performance, to fly, I'd have to focus on that star and chase it until I lose my shadow."
"Dick, that's really pretty. Your mom sounds like a wonderful person."
"She really was," he paused, "Zee, would you like to chase some stars with me?"
"Huh? What? Y-you you mean trapeze? Off here?"
"Yes. Absolutely."
"Dick, but c'mon, there's no net!'
"I've got you. I'd never let you go," he told her holding her waist.
She looked at him with a slightly terrified look. He rubbed her back to quell her fears and pressed his forehead against hers.
"It'll be ok," he whispered, "If we chase the stars and lose our shadows, Peter Pan and Wendy turned out fine."
Smiling at his sweet voice, she kissed him and nodded.
"Emitwohs!" (Showtime).
In a puff of smoke, Dick was changed into his family's old performance leotard with the white leggings and the red sleeveless top and gold wings spread out on his chest. Zatanna opted for a simpler purple leotard with a black belt and see-through stockings showing off her smooth legs. He grasped a hanging trapeze bar and backed up a little.
"Here, lemme show you how it works," he said.
With a slight run, he pushed off the platform and swung high above the circus ring. Zatanna stared in awe as he reached the apex of the swing, turned around on the bar, and swung his feet forward gaining momentum to reach the platform again.
"There! Easy!" he smiled as he landed.
"For you!"
"We'll do it together. I've got you."
Nervously, she placed both hands on the bar.
"Scootch over. And keep your hands together. Hold on tight."
She slid to her left giving Dick enough room to put one hand on the right side of the bar. His left hand clutched her waist tightly.
"You ready?" he asked.
"Nope. But I have faith in you. I trust you."
"Then here's the pixie dust," he kissed her cheek.
In sync, they ran off the platform and pushed off to chase the stars. She closed her eyes at first, but once they reached the bottom of the swing and fly upwards, she opened them. The rush of the air, the thrill of being weightless finally hit her. He told her to bring her legs forward and then swing them back to increase the speed. She followed him and they glided through the air. On the third swing upward, she looked up at the hole in the ceiling and reached out a hand to grab the second star to the right. She giggled all the way back to the platform.
"Wow, I mean, wow," she exclaimed.
"That's nothing. Want to really fly?"
"Dick….what are you planning?"
This time he backed up all the way to the column and sprinted full speed. He swung higher than she'd ever seen before reaching nearly to the top of the tent. At the peak, he let go of the bar and flipped through the air.
"DICK!" she screamed terrified.
Effortlessly he grabbed the faraway bar as the first one made its way back to Zee. He sat on his new perch and laid back with his legs grasping the bar.
"Haha, now come here. I'll catch you," he cackled.
"Are you crazy!? I can't make that jump!"
"It's a leap of faith, Zee. It's just you and me. I'll catch you. I promise. Just focus on me. Let me be your star to chase."
She looked down and then back up at him. Just like he couldn't say no to her, she couldn't resist that boyish smile of his. Shaking her head, she backed up to the column.
"That's it, Wendy! Don't forget to flap your arms!" he yelled.
"I swear to God, Peter Pan, if you drop me, Captain Hook will be the least of your worries."
She sprinted off the platform and felt the air brushing her face.
"When I give the signal, let go. Until then, rock back and forth to gain momentum."
She nodded as she swung her legs forcing the swing higher and higher. The wind became a little too much and she closed her eyes again. By about the fifth swing, she was approaching the apex.
"Now, Zee! Let go!"
She released the bar and shot upwards. She opened her eyes as she felt her body cutting through the air up towards the hole in the ceiling. Her arms extended and stretched out right in front of her. Once again, she was grasping at the stars in front of her as if she's collecting coins. For a brief moment in time, just a split second, she was floating in midair. She just stopped. There was no weight to her body. Nothing was pulling her down, but nothing was keeping her up either. She was just in the air enjoying the short moment of calmness. Gravity hit again and now she fell. The air now blew her hair upwards, and the rush caused her to close her eyes again. Almost out of blue, a pair of strong hands clasped onto her wrists. Instinctively, she grabbed his wrists too. Her eyes opened to see a pair of bright blue stars. She was beaming with glee to see her upside-down boyfriend laughing and cackling as they swing through the air together. When their momentum dies down and their swing slows, he pulled her up and put her hands on the bar. He rotated and flipped around the bar so that he was facing her. He held onto the bar with one hand and caresses her cheek with the other. For her own peace of mind, she wrapped her legs around his waist. He kissed her midair
"See, I told you I'd catch you. I'll always catch you," he smiled into the kiss.
"Thank you, Dick. Thank you for today. You always know what to do around this time of year. You give me meaning. You give me a reason to give it my all so that one day, I can free my father."
"I didn't do much. I should be thanking you."
"Oh really now?" she answered sarcastically.
"Don't think I wasn't onto your plan to give me cathartic closure. But thank you. It feels really good to look this place again without so much sorrow and pain. It feels good to fly happily again. All thanks to you. You give me reason, to believe once again."
"Y'know. I think they'd enjoy this performance, your parents," she told him using her eyes to gesture towards the starry sky.
"I'd like to think so too."
He moved closer to tease her a little. His lips were so close she could feel the wetness and breeze of his breath.
"I love you, Zee. If it's you and me forever, if it's you and me right now, I'd be alright. Everything would be alright."
"I love you, Dick. There's no one else I'd rather chase the stars and lose my shadow with."
"Y'know there was more to that story my mom told me."
"Hmm?"
"She said that one day when I fly too fast and too high and lose my shadow, I had better hope that I'd meet a girl who is as nice as Wendy to sew my shadow back onto me. You're that person, Zee. You're that person who puts me back together. You call me out on my faults and celebrate my joys with me. I know it isn't much, but I always do everything in my power to hold you together, especially on a day like today."
"Dick, baby, what you do for me day in and day out means the world to me. Today is a hard day, yes, but I'd never be able to get through it without you by my side. You took weeks and weeks out of your life to convince Nabu to let my father out for an hour. That is the greatest gift anyone could give me. We made a promise, Dick, to forever love and cherish each other. You lift up my spirits just by being you. And I will give you my heart every single day. It will always be you and me forever. It will always be you and me right now. Because of that, it will always be alright with you. I will always chase the stars with you. And if we ever lose our shadows, I'd be happy to sew your shadow back to your feet hehe."
"After all, Peter Pan and Wendy turned out fine."
"Um Wendy grew up and Peter stayed eternally young in Neverland…"
"Then fly with me, Zee. Second star to the right and straight on till morning."
"Lead the way, Peter."
Feeling his arm going numb holding both him and Zee up, Dick swung back to the trapeze platform. They landed with a thud and laid there resting and looking up at the stars. Cheekily, she straddled his waist and grinded into him. She placed both his hands on her hips and gave him a lustful look. Her tongue slowly licked her lips as her hands roamed around his chest lifting up his leotard.
"What happened to not having sex in the tent?" he teasingly asked.
"I said we shouldn't do it in the ring. It's too sandy down there. But up here on the platform though…"
"You trying to scar my childhood memories haha?"
"More like helping you create new happier ones," she sultrily smiled grabbing the elastic waistband of his tights.
"I thought I was supposed to be helping you today?"
"Didn't you hear the whole chase the stars speech? We help each other."
She leaned down to kiss his abs and lick his navel. Her hand stroked his little friend gradually turning him into his big friend. Satisfied with the preparations, she straddled him again.
"Hang on," he laughed, "we never agreed to the who's on top wager for bowling."
"You complaining?"
"No, just making an observation."
"Then, instead of chasing stars, make me see stars, baby…"
AN: Woohoo made it to 50 chapters and over 130K words. Man I honestly didn't think I'd make it to this point. I was so scared about writing my first ever fanfic and now I've got three! I was worried my writing would feel to literal and direct as opposed to the figurative language I've seen other and better writers do. But even so, I feel like I've grown into my own comfortable style. Once again, I want to thank the lovely people over on the Chalant Discord especially A045, Lover of Romance246, 4shur4, and SH for encouraging me and helping me develop this fic. Thank you also to Atomix and SunKissedAngel for reading and reviewing. You all really make writing this fic worthwhile. There's more to come I promise! I've also discovered I've deviated way off from the canon YJ timeline. By my math, this particular chapter takes place in 2017 which would make it Team year 7. Technically, I should be in YJ season 3 by now haha. Oh well, such is the journey of fanfics. Until next time!
(P.S. Yes majority of this is from my other fic "Dick and Zee's Chalant Playlist". The chapter is titled "Fly with Me" based on the Jonas Brother's song of the same name. I loved this tender moment of theirs on the trapeze so much that I wanted to adapt it here onto HTBC. Hope yall still enjoyed it though!)
