Telling Hermione, the Truth

Harry stormed towards Tom who showed him to the room he prepared.

for when He and Regina returned.

Harry: Thanks, Tom.

Then walked into the room slamming the door behind him.

Regina didn't know what to think.

But from what she just heard; she wasn't happy at all.

Walking towards the table with a dangerous look in her eyes.

The Weasleys knew they were in trouble.

Regina spoke in a dangerously low voice that sent shivers down everyone's back that was in the pub.

Regina: Did you know?

No one at the table said anything their heads down in shame not looking at Regina who could tell they knew.

Regina: I see. so, you did know.

Answer me this, why didn't you try and take him in? Surely with everyone at this table Harry could have been safe!

Mrs. Weasley: We couldn't take him in.

Dumbledore said that it would do him more harm then good. He was allowed to be with us at the end of the summer vacation though.

Regina: I see. From what you just told me you didn't try hard enough and let someone else tell you what is good for Harry when in reality it's not.

Mrs. Weasley: That's not...

Regina continued as if she was never interrupted.

Regina: As of now, Harry will never have to go back to the Dursleys ever again.

I have full custody of Harry now.

And if anyone tries to take him away from me, I don't care who they are. I promise you, they will wish they haven't, because I will make them suffer.

Then turned to the room Harry was in.

Regina: Hermione, your more then welcome to come with me to the room Harry is in. I have a feeling I can trust you dear.

Hermione nodded not trusting herself to speak as she would have told the Weasleys off and followed Regina.

Just before she walked into the room she turned and glared at the Weasleys then with a huff walked into the room closing the door behind her.

When Hermione looked up to see Harry crying, it broke her heart.

She quickly ran to her friend and hugged him.

Regina watched as she saw his friend comfort him saying comforting things to him that only he could hear.

Moments later Harry calmed down enough to speak again.

Harry: Thank you Hermione, I'm glad you were here for me when I needed it most.

Hermione smile as she hugged him a again.

Hermione: Hey that's what friends are for. And besides you'd do the same for me if I were in your place.

Harry: Yeah, I would, without hesitation.

Hermione: Hey Harry? What did you mean when you said that you were adopted?

Looking sheepish,

Harry: I didn't mean for you to find out that way and honestly, I just found out I was adopted today, and that my real family is very important in the wizarding world.

Regina: Harry.

A warning tone in her voice.

Looking at Regina who can see the pleading look in his eyes.

Harry: Please Regina, can I tell her the truth of who we are?

I trust Hermione with my life.

I promise you; she won't say anything.

Regina looked at Hermione who quickly understood her unspoken question.

Hermione: I promise Regina, that whatever it is I won't say a word. Especially if it's important.

And from the sound of it, it is.

Regina: Very well, you may tell her Harry.

I did tell her I felt she could be trusted.

Harry: Hermione? What do know about the Royals of the magical world who once ruled here before the Ministry of magic existed?

Hermione: Um.. I Read a passage about them last year. There's not much information on them. Only that they fought alongside the goblins in the goblin war. It's said that a portal was opened and they were sent to another realm. But before they did, they were able put a protection spell on the goblins so they couldn't be harmed by the wizards. That's Actually how the war ended.

I was fascinated by them and tried to find out more about them.

But I never could find anything else on them.

And believe me I tried.

Looking at Harry who had a smirk on his face and an Impressed look in Regina's face.

Hermione: What?

Harry: You always did love reading books.

Smiling a fondly at his friend.

Well, everything you read in that book is true.

You see Hermione, the Royals found a way back to this realm.

I don't know how that happened though.

Regina: The Dark Curse, that's how the Royals are here.

Both Harry and Hermione looked to Regina.

Thirty minutes later, Regina heard both kids get up and to her surprise both hugged her.

Hermione: You were the Evil Queen?

Regina: I still am in some ways, but I am trying to change to be better for Henry, and now Harry too.

Harry: You can tell us what happen? Or is it too painful …

Regina: I can tell you. And yes, it is painful but Harry, you deserve to know who your father was.

Hermione gasped as she realized who Regina was to Harry but didn't say anything.

So, Regina explained to them how she became the Evil Queen and how she cast the Dark Curse for her Happy ending.

And How Henry came into her life just so she wouldn't be lonely.

She explains how she changed for him because of how much she loved him. She left nothing out.

Hermione: Huh. That Explains why I actually Hated watching Snow White and Seven Dwarfs Growing up.

I always thought it was stupid how the Queen was always jealous of Snow White's beauty.

But I always thought there was more to it than that.

I actually liked the Evil Queen better then Snow White.

And now I know why.

Looking at Regina do you think that's weird?

Regina just chuckles a little then looked Hermione in the eyes.

Regina: You do realize that you're asking The Evil Queen herself, right?

Hermione just nodded her head yes.

Regina just shook her head and then turned to Hermione a smirk on her face.

Regina: I'm Flattered that you liked me growing up Hermione, even though you didn't know I actually existed.

But you have to understand, I did some terrible things when I was The Evil Queen.

Hermione: I do understand, and to be honest, I think you did what you did because you were in pain and also angry.

Regina: I was angry and in pain for a long time. I also blamed Snow White for a lot of my pain.

Hermione: So Your Majesty, changing the subject to their original topic. From what I was just told, you and my best friend Harry, are actually the descendants of the lost Royals?

And that you're actually Harry's birth mother?

Regina: Yes.

Hermione: Oh...wow.

Sitting down in the chair behind her processing everything that was just told to her.

Harry who was sitting next to Hermione grabbed her hand silently hoping she was okay with everything she's heard.

Sensing his worry, she quickly reassured him.

Hermione: Harry you don't have to worry about me distancing myself from you.

My loyalties will always lie with you and your Mum don't ever doubt my friendship with you, okay?

Harry smiled hearing his friend say this. It made him happy knowing Hermione would never betray him.

Harry: Thanks, Hermione.

Hermione was about to say something When they all heard a loud bang then

a loud voice yell WHERE'S THE BOY!

Moments later they could hear Tom calmly but loudly say stay away for that room, believe me you, don't want to anger her!

Man: Get out of the way Tom that woman is under arrest for kidnapping Harry Potter!

Regina: Stay back both of you and be ready when I take you both with me.

Unless you want to stay here Hermione?

Hermione: No, where Harry goes, I go.

Regina: Good.

Seconds later the door was destroyed by a reducto spell.

Moments later a stunning spell hit Regina full on but to everyone's surprise, she just shook it off like it was nothing. All it did was anger her instead.

If looks could kill, the guy who shot the spell would be dead now.

When Regina spoke it was in the deadliest tone that would give even the dark lord a run for his money.

Using magic, she quickly had the man who tried to stun her but failed with vines on the far wall.

Regina: I don't know what that was supposed to do, but you could have hit one of these kids!

She watched as two more people take their wands out and pointed at her.

We are only doing our job ma'am.

We were told that you Kidnapped Harry Potter from his home.

Regina: Finnish that sentence and I'll end you.

Then Yelled loud enough for everyone to hear.

I don't know who told you this lie, and I really don't care.

I have legal custody of Harry Potter Both in the Muggle, and the Magical world.

In two days' time Harry, Hermione and I will Return, but until then you are not to follow us. In doing so you will suffer the consequences of your actions.

And trust me you don't want to cross me.

You will find out just who Harry, and I really are when we return.

Until then, you all have a good day.

Then turned to Tom.

Tom, make sure the Goblin King Is aware of what just happened here.

Tell him that I've made my decision.

Tell him to be ready at noon in two days' time.

Tom nodded his head in respect.

Tom: As you wish Regina.

Regina nodded her head, then turned to Harry and Hermione

Regina: Are you ready?

Harry and Hermione: Yes ma'am.

Regina raised her arms up and they disappeared in a puff of purple smoke.

Seconds later they appeared in her mansion where she and Henry lived in Storybrooke.
