Taking Down Fudge.

A week had quickly passed for everyone.

Regina had decided to settle down in the castle first before dealing with the wizarding world.

She now had a staff from guards to maids that would take care of the castle while she did the more important things

needed as Queen.

Even her old cook returned to her duties voluntarily. And no one was there against their will.

They all loved Regina, who was surprised at how many people had forgiven her.

She was lucky to have so many loyal friends now that she thought about it.

Currently standing in a familiar garden with her most prized apple tree now sitting in its rightful place where it once stood in the enchanted forest so long ago. The garden looks the same as the one in Enchanted Forest.

This is a place she would go to be at peace.

She wasn't The Evil Queen here. She was just Regina, a girl who loved to

spend time with her father tending to their apple tree together. This was their special place. A place she planned to share with the rest of her family.

She knew her father would have loved this.

And their tradition passed on to his grandsons and family and one day her own grandkids and their families.

Smiling at the thought of more family. This is all she had ever wanted her whole life, a family that loved her and she them.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Emma's voice.

Emma: "There you are."

Emma walked behind Regina and wrapped her arms around her,

Regina leaned her head against Emma, a content smile still on her lips.

Emma: What are you thinking about my love?

Regina turned in Emma's arms and kissed her before responding to Emma's Question.

Smiling lovingly as she spoke.

Regina: I was thinking about my past and our future.

This place is where I was mostly at peace When I was still The Evil Queen.

Only Here I was just Regina. Daddy and I used to come here often to tend to this very tree. All my happy memories are here. And I am planning on making new memories with my family, Daddy would have loved to see me happy, and I intend to make him proud by continuing our tradition with our family.

I'm just happy I was able to magic this tree to this place where it belongs.

Even though this isn't the Enchanted Forest, The Castle grounds are the same to me and I am able to be at peace here in this spot with my new family, this is home.

Now, I know you didn't come looking for me just to hear me talk about my thoughts.

I'm guessing everyone's ready.

Emma: Yes, we're just waiting for you, my Queen.

Moving to Emma's left side, her hand out for Emma to take.

Regina: Well in that case, let's get going.

Emma smiled and took Regina's hand and immediately the two disappeared in a puff of purple smoke and reappeared in front of the castle gates where their family was waiting for them.

It was time to see how things were running at the ministry.

None of them knew what was in store for them, and it wasn't anything good.

The person behind it all was about to lose everything and he didn't even know it yet.

The Ministry Of Magic

Amelia Bones was just getting into her office when one of her Aurors came running in telling her she was needed in front of the ministry entrance.

Auror: "Ma'am, you are needed in front of the ministry entrance.

The Queen and her family are here.

Two Aurors are trying to arrest her for impersonating royalty and the kidnapping of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.

They say that you issued the order for when she arrived, she was to be arrested immediately."

Amelia: "What!

I did no such thing!"

Then quickly made her way to the entrance of the building hoping she could fix the damage that was done by whoever called the order and forging her name to do so. All she knew was whoever did it worked in the ministry.

When she arrived at her destination,

The scene before her where two very powerful, and angry women.

Both men were now immobilized, and thankfully no one was hurt.

Amelia walked closer cautiously to the scene before her.

But before she could say anything, more of her Aurors appeared and went to attack the two women who both prepared to defend themselves and the children with them.

Amelia: "ENOUGH! STAND DOWN NOW!"

Ameila stepped in front of the family to protect them from her own men.

As her men did as told confusion now on their faces.

Ameila turned to the family who seem to calm down but was still on guard just in case.

Ameila: "Please forgive my men."

" My Name is Ameila Bones Head of the Aurors, I had no idea an order was made to have you Arrested.

From what I was told the order was made by my orders which I can Asure you I didn't do so.

If you don't mind, I can find out who actually Issued the order."

Regina: "Do what you must. And please do it quickly."

Waving her hand over the

Aurors removing the binds she had over them.

"We have other matters that needs to be done today and I would like you to be our guide so this will not happen again."

Ameila nodded head in response then turned to face her men who was now nervus of what would happen to them as they did not know what to expect now.

Ameila: "Can anyone tell me who was the first to see the order and who gave it to you?"

One of two Aurors who were first went to arrest the queen spoke.

"We did ma'am."

"But we assumed you magically sent the order to us as it was on my desk.

It look to be signed by you, as it had your handwriting ma'am."

Ameila: "I see… May I see the order?"

The Auror standing to the right, handed the order to his boss without another word.

As soon as the paper was handed to Ameila, she immediately felt that something was off.

Quickly saying a spell to reveal who cast the forging spell of her name.

She was disappointed at what she found. It was Minister Cornelius Fudge's name that appeared on the paper.

Amelia knew this was bad and now the

man, really dug a whole and one he wouldn't be able to get out of this time.

Turning back to the family who were patiently waiting to see why this happened.

Amelia: "Your Majesty, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding from my Aurors."

"They were only doing their jobs as was told by this order they thought came from me."

Handing the now revealed name to the

Queen.

When Regina took the paper, she wasn't surprised to read the name on the paper in her hand, thinking that Harry was right.

This man wasn't fit to be a leader.

Regina then looked to Ameila who looked nervus even though it wasn't her fault her Aurors went after her.

Regina: "It looks like I have no choice but to have this man arrested for forgery and sending false orders to arrest an innocent person and in this case me."

"You and your men have nothing to be worried about as you said earlier, your men were only doing their jobs.

But Please I want that man arrested immediately."

Ameila: "As you wish Your Majesty.

Then had two of her best Aurors quickly left to go arrest the now unsuspecting Minster."

Regina: "Now, if you know of someone who can temporarily take his place until I can have one of my own take his or her place or if I see they are doing a good job in leading this place I might let them keep the job."

"How ever there will be changes that this place will undergo no matter what happens next."

"Now, I would like you to give us a tour of this place, starting with the Minister's office as I want to see the man who tried to arrest me gets arrested himself."

Amilea nodded her head and started towards the Minister's office.

Amilea: "This way your Majesty."

When they arrived at the Ministers office they heard a struggle followed by a yell.

Fudge: "Just what you think you are doing?

I'll have your jobs for this!"

Regina: "Actually no, you won't."

"As I am Queen my authority is above all."

"And you Mr. Fudge is under arrest for falsely trying to arrest an innocent person and in this case me in order to keep your job, for abusing your power and for forgery."

Regina Looked at the two Aurors her eyes hard making them gulp nervously.

Regina: "Take him away."

Both Aurors bow to Regina and quickly put Fudge in a holding cell for trial.

When they were gone Regina Sat in the chair where Fudge sat not long ago trying to think of who can take the man's place.

Deciding it was best to get Amila's thoughts on what to do.

Regina: "Miss Bones Who do you think is best to replace Fudge? At least temporarily until we can have a more suitable person to take his place."

Amila: Actually your majesty, there is one person who would be perfect for this job.

He's a dear friend of mine and has been trying for a few years to get the Minster's position.

He could help you bring order here and even show you what laws he believes need to be changed for the better.

His Name is Rufus Scrimgeour.

Regina: Very well.

Summon him and tell him of what happened here today.

I'll give him time to get settled into his new job.

Tell him to Owl me when he's ready to meet me.

Also have someone to set a trail date for Fudge.

I believe I am done here for the day and my family, and I will take our leave.

See you in a few days.

Amila: "It will be done as soon as possible, your majesty, see you in a few days."

Regina nodded and now stood with her family.

Then an Auror led the family to the Exit.

He bowed to the Queen but said nothing

as she and her family left the ministry.

Two Days has passed as Regina and Emma met with different people trough out Daigon Ally.

They had yet to hear from Rufus which was fine by them they wanted to meet the people of the wizarding world and see what to expect of them.

Most were pleasant to speak with, but some weren't so much.

They had been to all the shops in Diagon Ally.

The only place they haven't been to yet was Knockturn Ally a place where the dark witches and wizards would venture.

Both weren't keen to go there but knew it had to be done.

Regina and Emma were sitting in the garden just relaxing and enjoying each other's company.

They were just talking about random things when Emma had an idea that she knew Regina wouldn't be fond of. Especially sense she and the Evil Queen were now whole once more.

Emma: Hey Regina, I have an idea about how to go about Knockturn Ally.

But you might not like it too much as it involves you being the Evil Queen or at least pretending to be evil still.

Regina: I'm listening.

Surprised at her response but didn't dwell too long as she began to explain her idea.

Regina smiled evilly as Emma finished telling her idea.

Regina: Oh Emma, that is brilliant!

But lets tell the others of your idea and get their input in this.

I also want to make sure our sons and Hermione are a part of this.

Besides if I was to truly turn evil again you all would be by my side because of the bonds we share.

So, let's just be careful in what we do, but we also make it look believable if the others agree to this.

We'll talk about this later when the people of the wizarding world can trust that I will make things better for everyone, and that we have more allies. Until then lets just enjoy our day.

Emma smiled knowing Regina liked the idea she just hoped that everyone would be ok with this.

Leaning back into Regina who wrapped her arms are her midsection making her more comfortable against her.

Just as Emma was going to Reply to Regina, an owl landed next to them with a letter from Rufus.

The Letter

Dear Queen Regina, I'm sorry it took

So long to get back to you as I had to get settled in and make sure everything here at the Ministry was up to date.

I have found some disturbing news that needed to be handled right away.

Harry's Godfather was sent to Azkaban without being put on trial. He is now in a holding cell awaiting trial for the Murder of Lilly and James Potter.

It will take place the same day as Cornelius Fudge's hearing.

Sirius Black was a dear friend and I do believe him to be innocent.

The Trial Date Is in two days' time.

I will see you and your family there.

Then once everything is done I will speak to you about other matters you might want to know.

Regina and Emma stood up and dusted themselves off.

Regina: Well, looks like we need to get ready in the next few days.

I think is best we head inside now.

Emma nodding her head in agreement.

Emma: Yea, I think your right. It is getting late.

I have a feeling, things in the next few days will be busy.
