Be Coordinated

"Alpha squad, all teams check in."

"Loud and clear, Nightwing. Robin and Wonder Girl on the ground standing by."

"Eye in the sky reads you loud and clear, Skyguy! Your butt looks really cute from up here by the way."

"…..Kara!"

"Teehee."

"This is bogus. Why am I stuck down here!? Got me on underwater recon."

"La'Gann! Focus. Apologies, Nightwing. Aqualad and Lagoon Boy checking in from below."

"Good. All teams accounted for. Keep your eyes peeled everyone."

Rumor had it that the University of Athens's Microbiology Department was working on a top-secret experimental bioweapon. Granted said rumor was posted on Reddit by the user "Glory_to_Big_Milkies", but the University didn't want to take any chances and practically begged for proper protection. Not wanting to create mass panic or anxiety, the League dispatched Nightwing and Aqualad along with the trainees hoping the threat would be minimal and act as a training exercise. The newest Robin (Tim Drake) and the latest Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark) were the grounds team currently blending in at a local café. Supergirl provided a bird's eye view of the city while Aqualad and Lagoon Boy monitored the coastline. Nightwing was perched atop one of the taller buildings to coordinate positioning.

"So uh…..come here often?" Tim awkwardly asked.

"To…Greece?" Cassie asked back.

"Uhh well y'know. Amazon. Themiscyra. Uhhh I dunno I figured you'd be familiar I guess with the uh area."

"Hehehe dude chill. I lived with my mom most of my life. I'm just your average girl from Washington D.C."

"Right. Average girl with super strength, flight, hand-to-hand combat training."

"You're one to talk, Boy Wonder," she giggled.

"Ok ok fair enough," Tim laughed taking a sip of coffee, "Man, this is good stuff."

"Oh? You a coffee drinker?"

"Eh I dabble. I don't want to get to the point of addiction to the caffeine, y'know."

Meanwhile, down below in the sea.

"Neptune's beard! This is pointless. Are we really going to waste our time here over a silly post on Reddit of all places!"

"Patience La'Gaan. We may joke about the credibility of Reddit. But the more important issue is that someone leaked real information about a bioweapon here in Athens. That we cannot ignore."

As La'Gaan and Kaldur continued to argue back and forth, a large manta shaped submarine zoomed past the two underwater warriors flinging them apart with its enormous Jetstream.

"What in the Seven Seas?" La'Gaan exclaimed.

"Nightwing! We have a breach. Hostiles incoming right on the shore," Kaldur warned via comms.

"Acknowledged. All teams, move out!"

Tim and Cassie jumped from their table nearly knocking it over. Cassie took to the skies while Tim grappled away (but not before leaving a tip.) Along the beach, various vacationers scattered in terror as the giant manta ship washed up ashore. The front of the ship split open revealing a brigade of black armored soldiers. Leading the charge was Black Manta himself with his large helmet and his bright red laser eyes. All at once, the group activated their jet packs and made a beeline towards the University.

"Snips, I need a pickup. Northside," Nightwing ordered.

"Roger Roger, Skyguy."

From his perch, Nightwing dived off and somersaulted with his arms reaching up into the sky. Within seconds, Supergirl zoomed by and caught him taking him towards the action. Robin and Wonder Girl arrived first as the Mantamen landed right in front of the University. The armored soldiers fired multiple gas canisters into the building filling the microbiology department with knockout gas. With everyone subdued, Black Manta and a few of his men simply waltzed in.

Outside, Robin and Wonder Girl began engaging the enemy. A few of them fired lasers, but Cassie deftly deflected him with her bracelets. Robin stood behind her for cover.

"Sword and shield?" he asked.

"Huh? What's that?"

"Sword and shield! You didn't read the playbook?"

"Playbook? I just like to fight!"

Still deflecting lasers, Wonder Girl charged forward and rammed a few Mantamen into the air.

"….Whoa," Tim stared in awe.

"Look alive, Robin!"

From the air, Supergirl dropped Nightwing letting him freefall and kick a Mantaman in the face.

"Sitrep," Nightwing asked.

"Uhhh I count twenty hostiles. Around eight went inside and…."

"RAHHHH!" Cassie battlecried.

"…..Wonder Girl has taken out around five out here," Robin explained.

"There's gas inside the building. Noxious gas. Break every window you can. Snips, on Robin's signal, create a vortex around the building and lift that gas into the atmosphere," Nightwing barked out orders.

"Copy, Skyguy. Standing by."

With everyone happy with their orders, Nightwing put on a gas mask and grappled up into the building crashing through a window. Outside, Robin threw however many birdarangs he had in his belt shattering as many windows as he could. Cassie wanting to join in on the fun, grabbed an unconscious man and threw him into the windows above. Confused, Robin turned around and raised an eyebrow.

"…..What? It worked," she smiled.

Inside, Nightwing had slammed a Mantaman against a column before hiding behind another as the others opened fired on him. Quickly, he flung an escrima stick to the corner wall and ricocheted it towards a Mantaman knocking him out cold. The others were shocked for a second leaving themselves open. Taking his chance, Nightwing charged at the soldiers. A quick punch to the face. A sweeping kick knocked another guy down. A grapple pulled a farway Mantaman towards Nightwing close enough for him to slam his shoulder on the guy. Suddenly, all the gas started getting sucked out the windows. Apparently, Kara had started flying around the building and creating her vortex. Smiling, Nightwing pressed on.

Meanwhile, back at the beached Mantaflyer, Aqualad and Lagoon Boy were dealing with the crewmembers left guarding the large submarine. Now bloated and bulky, La'Gaan swung his powerful arms knocking back more Mantamen. Kaldur fought back as well forming giant maces with his water bearers.

"Ugh this is useless. We should be helping the others secure the bioweapon!" La'Gaan complained.

"No. Our role here is crucial as well. We must secure this flyer and cut off their escape route. We have to trust in the other teams," Kaldur tried reasoning with the newbie.

As they continued fighting, Nightwing came alive on their comms.

"Nightwing to all points. Manta has the weapon. I repeat, the Manta has the weapon. Snips I need a bird's eye view. Locate them fast."

"They're all spread out. I've got some in the market, others by the archeological site. Manta's going through downtown. Their bags are lead-lined or something. It's messing up my x-ray vision."

"Good enough. Ground team, go to the archeological site. Snips, head for the market. I'll go downtown."

"What about us!" La'Gaan yelled.

"Aqua team, maintain position. We need that flyer under our control!"

La'Gaan very much was not happy with his orders. Growling and gritting his teeth, he picked up a Mantaman and threw him aside charging into the city.

"Lagoon Boy! Get back into position!"

"Screw you Kaldur! I'm going to secure the weapon!"

Distracted, Kaldur accidentally gave the Mantamen on the flyer an opportunity to line up and create a firing wall barraging Kaldur with laser fire. Forced to retreat, Kaldur backtracked and decided to chase after La'Gaan. Nightwing meanwhile was full-speed sprinting and jumping across rooftops desperate to catch up to Black Manta. Finally getting Manta and two of his men in sight, he threw a pair of electric wing-dings incapacitating Manta's escorts. Turning around, Manta fired his giant eye lasers destroying the roof Nightwing was on. With a flip, the aerial avenger landed easily in front of Manta drawing out his escrima sticks.

"Hand it over, Manta. You've got nowhere to run."

"Why run when you can fly!"

Manta moved to activate his jetpack only for it to sputter and spark.

"What the?" the villain turned around to see a wing-ding lodged into the central power source.

"Oops," Nightwing jested, "Engine trouble?"

"Grrrr you insufferable clown," he growled before revealing two long jagged blades from his forearms, "Let's see how you deal with pure Atlantean steel!"

Angered, Manta swung wildly at the blue hero, but the bulkiness of his armor prevented him from keeping up with the swiftness of the acrobat. Nightwing did try and block one of the swords with his escrima stick, but the steel sliced the baton cleanly in two.

"Dammit, Manta! You know how much these things costs?!" Nightwing exclaimed before kicking Manta in the chest.

"You ought to be more careful, boy. Or your head will suffer the same fate as your toy."

As the pair continued to fight, Nightwing's comms were relaying to him the progress of the other teams.

"This is ground team. We do not have the package. Repeat, no weapon on our end."

"This is air support, negative on the weapon here. Nightwing, Manta has the weapon!"

Manta's eyes lit up forcing Nightwing to flip away and gain some distance. Just as the laser fired, Nightwing spun midair with the beam barely grazing his side. From his belt, he put on a pair of brass electrified knuckles and lunged at Manta once again. Once again, Manta's bulkiness prevented him from dodging Nightwing's quick strikes. Electric punch after electric punch staggered Manta and actually threw him back.

"What's the matter, Manta? Shock to the system?" Nightwing jested as Manta groaned on the ground.

"You are made of stronger stuff than anticipated, boy. But you forget. I have the leverage. I have the….the….the?" Manta panicked he felt around his pockets and pouch desperately looking for something.

"Looking for this?" Nightwing grinned holding up a smell red vial containing the bioweapon.

"How the blazes did you?"

"A sexy magician taught me how to use my hands," he winked.

"Grrrr."

"You've lost Manta. Time to surren-"

"MANTAAAAAAAAAAAA!" a voice screamed from behind.

"What the?" Nightwing exclaimed but was too late.

Bloated Lagoon Boy rumbled down the street and jumped up ready to tackle the down villain. Smirking, Manta immediately fired his lasers knocking La'Gaan straight back into Nightwing. The sudden force knocked the vial right out of Nightwing's hand. Diving, Manta just barely caught the bioweapon before it shattered onto the ground. Running just barely behind, Kaldur finally caught up to the scene.

"Back away or I break this vial and we all die!" Manta warned.

Kaldur froze immediately and put his hands up.

"Call off your squad!" Manta barked.

"This is Aqualad. All teams stand down. Manta has the weapon."

Slowly the two Atlanteans circled each other never breaking eye-contact. Manta kept holding up the vial to strike fear and hesitance in Aqualad. Soon, the two had reversed positions with Manta's back facing the path that led to the shore.

"You will let me go else I drop this vial and condemn the city of Athens," Manta ordered.

"You will be stopped. We will find a way to defeat you," Kaldur glared back.

"Oh Kaldur'ahm, how could you be so naïve? This sense of heroism and justice does not suit you."

"Do not pretend to know who I am, Manta. You know nothing of me."

"I'd beg to differ, dear boy. The argument can be made that I ought to know more about you than anyone on this planet!"

"…What?"

In the confusion, Manta fired a flashbang grenade blinding Kaldur. Immediately, the villain sprinted towards his vessel. Pushing La'Gaan off him, Nightwing shook his head awake.

"Kal, the weapon?" he asked.

"…Manta."

"DAMMIT. All points converge on the shoreline NOW!"

Everyone traveled at top speed weaving through the city hoping to get to the beach in time. Supergirl arrived first but Manta's laser quickly knocked her off course to crash into a nearby beach hut. By the time the rest of Alpha squad arrived, the Mantaflyer was in the ocean and long gone.

"You have been insubordinate. You have no respect for your superiors. You grumble and complain at the simplest of assignments. And most importantly, your defiance not only cost us this mission, but you've also practically gave a supervillain a highly volatile and dangerous bioweapon for who knows what! What the hell do you have to say for yourself!?"

"…I apologize for my transgressions," La'Gaan mumbled as Nightwing scolded him.

After such a catastrophic failure, Nightwing gathered Alpha squad along with Connor and M'gann into the Cave's briefing area. Furious, he had no qualms about berating the young Atlantean in front of everyone.

"Arg look I'm still heated from how today's mission went. I need to cool off before I fully decide what to do with you. For now, you're on probation. You are grounded from going on any missions until I give you clearance. Until then, work on your attitude and decide if you really want to work on a team. Everyone, dismissed."

The newbies dispersed leaving the veterans to convene amongst themselves.

"That was a little harsh doing that in front of everyone," M'gann commented.

"Nah screw that. He needed his asshole torn apart," Connor grumbled.

"Why are you so hard on him?" she argued.

"Why are you taking it so easy on him, hmm?" he retorted back causing her to sheepishly move her gaze.

"If he had just followed orders, we might've had a shot at stopping Manta today. It's just so frustrating," Nightwing groaned.

"While I do agree," Kaldur finally chimed in, "La'Gaan does possess potential to be a valued team member. His attitude and temper need severe adjustment, but he is loyal and seeks justice just like any of us."

"I say we kick him off the team," Connor declared.

"Connor!" M'gann protested.

"Everyone just shut up!" Nightwing stomped, "Look, emotions are clearly getting to us right now. Let's table La'Gaan's status with us for a bit till we calm down. We're stuck anyway since we have no way to track Manta. Let's just get some rest."

M'gann and Connor glared at each other before walking off in opposite directions leaving Kaldur and Dick by themselves. Dick made a mental note as he saw M'gann go off in the same direction as La'Gaan.

"Whats up with them?" Dick asked.

"I'm not sure. Rumor has it they have not been on good terms for some time."

"That's odd. They were practically inseparable."

"I am as clueless as you are," Kaldur shrugged.

"Well anyway, thank you for trying your best with La'Gaan."

"He is rough and needs work, but I think we can still work with him."

"He's got a helluva temper."

"Superboy did too."

"Kaldur!" a voice called out.

Both men turned to find Tula jogging into the main room. Dick could feel the tension melt from Kaldur's body. He actually relaxed and smiled for once. Sadly, that only lasted a second as Garth eventually caught up and came to view. Wanting to give his Atlantean friends space, Dick stepped aside and sat at the computer ready to write the mission report. Or rather he was, until a pair of gloved magician hands covered his eyes.

"Hey, Baby," Zee whispered in his ear.

"Hey, Zee,"

"Tough day at work?"

"A little. You?"

"A little. Nothing major."

"Hmm. I'm surprised you're down here."

"Yea well Captain Atom and I were exhausted after dealing with that possible nuclear leak down in Australia. That was a something alright. After that it was just smile and wave for the cameras. Though I'm pretty sure some of those paparazzi creeps were undressing me with their eyes."

"Pft you could take them. Kick them blind with one arm tied behind your back."

"Oooo kinky. You into that sorta thing, Dick? Hmm"

"Nah. Besides, I don't need my eyes to undress you," he smirked pulling her into his lap.

"Eeep!" she squealed.

"I prefer the conventional way. Slow and steady. With my hands," he growled huskily.

"Hnnnn naughty boy," she leaned in to kiss him.

Both of her hands held his face as he gently rubbed her thighs up and down. His fingertips ran through the fishnets lovingly. Eventually, he picked one of the holes and rubbed circles within it. The friction of her tights on her skin set her on fire. Her hips grinded against him even though she probably wouldn't reach her prize under all that armor, but the friction of her shorts felt sooo good. His tongue licked against her lips as she opened her mouth letting him in. His hands were now gripping her ass and squeezing them tightly. How aggressive! Especially when they're practically out in public. Eventually, he gently pushed her back a bit leaving a trail of saliva between their mouths. She whined trying to lean forward and get more kisses, but he was a bit firm.

"Baby! I haven't seen you all day. And it's been a while since we…y'know," she whined.

"Zee c'mon. It's only been two days."

"Yea but two days is an eternity for us. You know how sensitive and achey I get when we don't fuck."

"Hhaha you were too shy to say it earlier, but now you're happy to say fuck? What happened in those five seconds?"

"I got really really wet for you," she purred nibbling on his ear.

"Zee, I really got get this report in," Dick groaned.

"You can multi-task," she moved to his neck.

While the magician and her hero were busy in their own world, Kara had walked back in holding some tea. Approaching the Atlanteans, she caught the tail end of the conversation.

"So that's the situation," Kaldur finished.

"Dang. I know you want to say it's alright and we'll get 'em next time, but this is pretty serious," Tula said.

"A programmable virus designed to kill only those registered within its DNA banks. Who the hell comes up with this stuff? And why was it in a university?" Garth asked.

"Actually, yea, why was it in an undergraduate lab anyway?" Kara joined in on the conversation.

"As it turns out, the weapon was smuggled. The MI6 Division in the United Kingdom was developing it hoping the bioweapon would be some sort of smart virus. Someone stole a bit and planted it in the university lab for study. Of course, the British government denies all this, but the evidence is rather concrete," Kaldur explained.

"Typical. Big wigs and their secrets," Tula rolled her eyes.

"…..I thought there were only five MI divisions?" Kara asked.

"MI6 technically doesn't exist," Kaldur winked.

"Oh! Tula we must get going. We don't want to be late!" Garth said checking his watch.

"Ok ok! Yes, let's get going," Tula agreed before taking Kaldur's hand.

"Where are you going?" Kal asked.

"Garth is taking me to see Sebastian's orchestra in Triton's Theater. Oh, it's going to be so lovely."

"It had better be! I waited six months for these tickets!" Garth groaned.

"Haha and I thank you for your patience."

"Hey, any Atlantean would move seas to get these tickets for a pretty lady."

"Oh Garth."

"I was talking about the singing soloist, Ariel…..OW," Garth flinched after getting smacked.

After rolling her eyes, Tula grabbed Kaldur's hand.

"You are ok, right Kal? You seemed bothered by something."

"Y-yes. I am fine."

"Are you sure? You can tell me anything."

"I am well, Tula. Please, enjoy the concert."

"Ok. See you soon."

"We'll make sure to get Ariel's autograph for ya!" Garth called back as he and Tula left.

Kara simply stood around sipping her tea as she listened to Kaldur's heartbeat slow down and his breathing even out. They remained in slight awkward silence until she spoke up.

"Does it hurt?" she asked.

"Pardon?"

"Does it hurt…..when you have to watch the person you love be with someone else?"

"….I could ask the same of you," he asked back nodding towards the computer.

Over in the distance, Dick and Zee were giggling like school kids. She was still sitting in his lap peppering him with kisses determined to prevent him from writing the report. He stopped her finally looking serious and wanting to get on with his work. Ever the charmer, she whispered something in his ear. His demeanor changed drastically. Immediately, he stood up from the chair and picked her up by the waist. She cackled wrapping her legs around him. As if he were on a mission, he walked with determined steps towards the living quarters, specifically where Zatanna's old room was. The door opened with a whoosh as Zee kept kissing him and practically blinding his eyesight. Dick didn't mind as he always knew how to get to Zee's room. Kara sipped a bit more tea as she watched all that unfold. Kaldur simply crossed his arms with a smile.

"Ok yea it sucks," she admitted.

"Hmm."

"Do you ever regret it?" Kara shyly asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Do you regret coming to the surface world….and leaving her behind."

Kaldur paused at this query. It was a question that had been on his mind many times in the past, especially after finding out he had lost Tula to Garth. He scratched the back of his neck a bit before definitively answering.

"No, I don't suppose I do. I have thought on numerous occasions what my life would be like had I rejected King Orin's offer and stayed to learn magic with Tula. It would have been nice. But every time I think about it, I think of my friends, the Team, all the experiences I've gained living in two worlds. The bonds I have made, the strength I have gained, the invaluable knowledge I have earned. Ideally, I would ask for all that and for Tula's love, but not everything in life is ideal."

"I-I see."

"If it's any consolation," Kal said putting his hand on Kara's shoulder, "Dick loves you too. Not in the way he loves Zatanna, but his love for you is just as unique."

"Yea that's true."

"Cherish it. It may not be what you wanted, but it's still just as special."

"Yea…Orrrr think about it," she lit up.

"Oh no," Kaldur groaned.

"A threeway. Dick, me, and Zatanna. Ah? Ah? Wouldn't that be something?" she grinned brightly.

"You need to stop going on Twitter. All that website does melt your brain."

"Excuse you I did not get that idea on Twitter!...I read a smut fic on AO3."

"Wait, M'gann and Connor broke up!?"

"Shhh not so loud, Zee!"

"Sorry sorry! It's just so shocking!" she whispered laying back down on his bare chest.

After their activities in Zatanna's old room, she and Dick decided to bask in the afterglow and cuddle with some pillow talk. They had a lot of catching up to do anyway.

"Besides," Dick continued, "I'm not totally sure they're broken up. I'm just deducing based on my observations. They've been less than cordial with each other. They try not to be in the same room as each other. I'm pretty certain they aren't sleeping together anymore."

"Mmmmm I love it when you get all detective-y," she smiled kissing his jaw, "But admittedly those do seem like some key points. Man, that's such a shame. They were such a cute couple."

"Yea. I have no idea what was so catastrophic enough to break them apart. So harshly at that too," Dick wondered as he rubbed her bare back.

"Maybe it was a misunderstanding. There was a lack of communication and both I guess are too stubborn to actually sit down and talk about it. After all, poor communication almost hurt us back then."

"Maybe. I don't really want to prod any further. Feels like an invasion of privacy."

"That's true," she agreed shifting her weight so that she half-straddled him with her leg.

"Well, one thing's for sure," he kissed her hand, "I'll always be open and honest with you, Zee. No secrets. No misunderstandings. Just you and me."

"Thank you, Baby. I shall do the same for you," she kissed his heart.

Feeling a little chilly, Zatanna hugged herself closer to Dick pressing their bodies closer together for warmth. She dragged her nipples against his chest somehow warming both of them up despite goosebumps popping up on his arms. Her face rested on his shoulder, and she couldn't help herself as she left little feather kisses against his neck.

"Mmmm tell me something about the Nine-Nine," she cooed.

"Well, Jake finally won that bet he had against Amy about who could make the most felony arrests."

"Really? That's finally over?"

"Yup. Amy was up by one with one minute left, but Jake was pretty sneaky. He ran a prostitution sting and arrested over thirty people for solicitation."

"That's not a felony?"

"It is when it's your second offense which was the case for ten of those guys. Oh man the look on Amy's face when it went from triumph to horror hahaha. Jake played music and had a dance party in the office."

"Hahaha oh nooooo. So what was the prize?" she asked.

"Amy has to go on a date with Jake."

"Bbbaahahahhahaha really?"

"He's been calling it the worst date ever as he plans to take her on the wildest wackiest date possible."

"Well, that's not very romantic. How does he plan to woo her like that?"

"I dunno. Supposedly he has a plan."

"Well, at least he showed more initiative than you did," she teased.

"Hey! I asked you out!"

"After I practically begged you to!"

"Ok yea but…..it worked didn't it?" he smiled kissing the top of her head.

"Hehe yes, it did."

"How are things up in the tower?" he asked.

"It's alright. I got a decent room. My neighbors are Rocket and Diana. Pretty sure they did that assignment so they could keep an eye on me. Doesn't matter anyway, I barely even use it."

"Haha have you eve stepped into that room?"

"I did! Honest! I think there's like a desk and a dresser or something. I dunno I went in to use the bathroom like once and I haven't looked back since. I much prefer our bed at home."

"Yea. It's comfier. Plus, there's Pocus."

"Trueee. Although you wanna know who is making use of their assigned League quarters?"

"No. Please don't say it."

"I dunno, man. I saw Bruce leave Diana's room a few times."

"Oh God please stop talking!"

"Hehehehehe. It's a good thing! It means training Tim is getting him out of his funk! Diana was telling me that before Tim, Bruce was so depressed he hadn't been sleeping with her."

"Ugh can we please stop talking about my dad and basically my step-mom having sex."

"Hey I don't like it either, but it's a good sign isn't it?

"Sigh yes. Yes, it is."

"Speaking of, why hasn't Bruce proposed yet?" Zatanna queried, "I mean, they live together. They work so well together. I don't mean to be nosy, but what's the deal?"

"I don't know actually. Maybe he's a little scared. I don't think he's been in a relationship where he's this happy."

"Not even with Selina?"

"No. Selina's great, but she was kinda flighty. I don't think they were ever really sure of where they stood in their relationship. Diana was pretty straightforward haha. She was like 'either we date at 110% or don't date at all' So she nailed Bruce pretty quick."

"Ahhhh. You Bats and yours shyness. All that playboy charming confidence is all just for show in front of the cameras. You're all just really sensitive and sweet."

"Maybe, but at the end of the day, Bruce has Diana. And I have you," he grinned craning his head down to kiss her properly.

He pulled her a little so that she was now fully straddling him. One of her arms hugged his neck while the other wrapped around his side. His hands held her hips firmly as they continued to steamily make out. Eventually, he tapped her bottom trying to get her to release him. No chance.

"Mmm Zee, baby, I really need to write that report," he mumbled into the kiss.

"Mmm nah. I'm pretty sure Kaldur wrote it by now," she mumbled kissing back.

"Well, we gotta leave at some point! Someone's gotta feed Pocus!"

"Truee but don't you want another ride through this tight cavern?"

"Orrrr we could go home and fuck on our much more comfortable bed."

"Buuuut I get this feeling that if I let you go, you'll just get right back to work."

"I won't hahah I won't. I promise," he earnestly smiled.

"Hmmm?" she glared at him raising her eyebrow.

"Ok to be fair I do have some police paperwork to deal with at home," Dick admitted.

"Sigh fine."

Instead of sitting up and releasing him however, Zatanna hugged him tightly and rolled so that Dick was on top. Her legs wrapped around his waist, and her ankle locked him down. Her arms tightly wrapped around his neck effectively trapping him.

"We can go….after one more round," she demanded biting his shoulder.

"God, you're insatiable haha," he laughed.

"Says the man who's rock hard right now!"

"Sigh ok. One more round. Then we get back to the real world."

"One round. Promise."

Justice League Watchtower…Six Hours Later

"That's odd. I thought Nightwing was supposed to submit this report, not Aqualad?" Superman wondered as he read the file on the team's latest mission.

Behind him, the door whooshed opened revealing the Leaguer who would relieve Superman of monitor duty. He turned around to greet her, but she was not who he was expecting.

"Rocket? What are you doing here?"

"Heya Superman. How's it hanging?"

"Uhh I'm fine, but I thought I was supposed to exchange monitor duties with Zatanna. Is she not coming?"

"…Oh she's coming alright."

AN: BOOM BABY! I'M BACK! Haha sorry for such a long wait for an update. I jumped universes for a bit writing about Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson in my Spider-Man fic: "Everyday is an Adventure with You." . But now I'm back focusing on this fic. My mind is for the most part one track so it takes a bit for me to jump from one fic to another, especially when they're different fandoms. But yea, so here we are with our final arc before season 2! I won't drag it out so I'll wrap it up in the next chapter and conclude our set up there. In the meantime, I really appreciate all of you who've been sticking around. I still love Nightwing and Zatanna and will delve into HBOMax for that season 2 research! Till then, hope all is well!
