Hey, guys! Welcome to the new chapter of Hilda and Stitch! I hope that you guys will enjoy the chapter. Also, credit to drakin6345 for the creation of his OC Roland Trenton and Amun, and I would like to give credit to 9655 for his help in creating this chapter, and the OC's Logan and Astrid belongs to him. Anyway, I would admit that Lost Clan is not one of my favorite episodes of Hilda Season 1, but I was surprised to see myself having fun writing this episode, so that's a plus, I guess...anyway, I don't own anything, except for my OC'S.
NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!
~{Hilda and Stitch: Season 1-Episode 5: The Lost Clan}~
"I don't mean to be a broken record, but I still can't believe that I have a couple of cousins that I have never heard about before." A frowning Hilda says as we cue to next morning and see her, Joanna, Stitch, Twig, Jumba, and Pleakley enjoying a great breakfast at the Dining Room Table as Roland and Amun, who both had shown up to visit the little family earlier in the morning, decide to join in on the family breakfast. "Why did you never tell me about Logan and Marcus, Mum?" A pouting Hilda asked her mother, who gave her a blank look as she raised an eyebrow at her blue-haired daughter in disbelief/bewilderment.
"What do you mean? I told you about them thousands of times in the past, Hilda."
"Really? When?" An unconvinced Hilda asked as Joanna gave her a deadpan stare and began telling Hilda about all of the times that she had talked about their cousins in the past.
{Flashback-8 Years Ago}
"Hey, Hilda, Mummy is going out into the city to visit our Cousin Logan for a couple of days, so try and be nice to Daddy. Make sure to listen to everything he says." A 22-year-old Joanna says while walking through her cabin home with her purse in her hand as she appeared in the Living Room and saw her loving husband playing around with a three-year-old giggling Hilda on the couch. A 22-year-old Joanna looks drastically different from the Joanna we know as her light auburn hair reaches down to her waist and was curlier as she also had a more slender build, and was currently wearing a long-sleeved fuschia-colored jean jacket with a yellow shirt underneath, hot pink salmon jeans, and brown/white shoes.
"He, he, okay, Mummy!" A smiling Hilda says while not really listening to what her mother was saying as she then squealed in delight when her father throws her up in the air before catching her as the blue-haired man then throws his laughing daughter up into the air again. A three-year-old Hilda was approximately three-feet-tall with short natural blue hair that reaches down to her neck, chubby cheeks, a slightly chubby build, and was wearing a long-sleeved orange shirt with a red scarf, long brown pants, and black shoes.
"Martin, please be careful with Hilda when you're doing that. You could drop her." A worried Joanna says as her husband rolled his eyes at her good-naturedly and chuckles. Joanna's husband is a 6'5-feet-tall, 23-year-old man with black eyes, natural short spikey blue hair, a small nose, a sharp chin with a chinstrap blue goatee, Caucasian skin, a tall muscular build, and his outfit consisted of an unbuttoned red/black collard-jacket with a black shirt underneath, black jeans, and black/red boots. His name is Martin, Joanna's Husband, and Hilda's Father.
"Ha, ha, don't worry, baby. I'm not going to drop-Oh, shit!" Martin says reassuringly before yelping as he wasn't able to grab Hilda in time, and the poor little girl almost hit head-first into the floor if the panicking blue-haired man didn't react quickly and stood up from the couch as Martin zooms down and was able to grab Hilda by her legs in time before she hits the ground as the three-year-old baby girl giggled cheerfully.
"Oh, shit! Oh, shit!" Hilda repeated while laughing as a nervous Martin twirls her upwards and sits down on the couch as he placed his daughter on his lap and panted heavily as Martin wiped away the sweat from his forehead from Hilda's close call in getting some brain damage...but then flinched as he slowly turned his head and saw a furious-looking Joanna glaring down at him with a black/red aura covering her body as Martin gulps nervously while an oblivious Hilda clapped excitedly.
{Flashback-5 Years Ago}
"Hey, Hilda, good news! Your father and I just talked to Logan, and he told us that he had adopted a young boy from out of the streets, which means that you have a new cousin!" An excited 25-year-old Joanna says with a bright smile on her face as she and her 26-year-old husband run into a 6-year-old Hilda's room. A 25-year-old Joanna had changed slightly over the years as her light auburn hair was shorter and only reaches past her shoulders but had large bangs that cover her eyes lightly, gained a more womanly hourglass figure, and had received her famous Hartman Hips as her outfit consists of a long-sleeved black sweater with a long-sleeved olive collard-shirt underneath, long olive pants, and black shoes.
"That's great, Mummy." A distracted Hilda says while reading a book about Trolls as she found something that made her gasp in excitement and turned to her parents. A 6-year-old Hilda had changed a lot throughout the years as she had grown up to be 3'5-feet-tall with long natural blue hair that reaches down to her waist but was tied up into dual low-hanging pigtails, a slim built, and her outfit consists of a black beret, an orange scarf, a yellow shirt with red overalls, and orange rain boots. "Mum! Dad! Look! The Book says that Trolls turn into stone by day but move at night! Isn't that cool?!"
"Yeah, it is, little blue." A smiling Martin while bending down to give his daughter Eskimo Kisses as she giggled. A 26-year-old Martin changed quite a bit over the years as his blue hair had grown longer and reaches down to his shoulders in a mullet style, has a small blue beard, and grew slightly more muscular, but still wore the same clothes that he wore in the past, except for the fact that he now wore blue jeans instead of it being black.
"That's a great fact to know, Hilda, but do you want to know more about your cousin Marcu-,"
"Ooh, Mummy, Daddy, it's getting dark! I want to see a Troll!" A beaming Hilda says, unintentionally interrupting her mother as she noticed that it was getting dark out through her bedroom window and was quick to run out of the room as Joanna and Martin shared a shock, nervous look and gasped as they were quick to chase after their young daughter.
{Flashback-5 Months Ago}
"Hilda! Your cousin Logan and Marcus want to talk to you!" A 30-year-old Joanna says while running into the living room as she was trying to get the attention of her 11-year-old daughter, who was sitting on the floor near the entrance door as she was putting on her red rain boots.
"Can't talk, Mum. Twig, and I are going out to explore the woods. Be back by nightfall." A distracted Hilda says while finishing putting on her boots as Twig appeared and ran towards his master's side as Hilda stood up and opened the door as the duo ran out, and the blue-haired girl laughed joyfully as she couldn't help but wait to see what cool, amazing, magical things that she will see today, not knowing that her life would soon change forever when a certain blue furry evil experiment crashes down from space a couple of hours later.
{Present}
"...Huh, I guess that you did talk to me about Logan and Marcus in the past." An embarrassed Hilda says sheepishly while rubbing the back of her neck nervously as Stitch and the others laugh at Hilda's obliviousness.
"All joking aside, I'm glad that you were able to reunite with your cousins again, Joanna. I can't wait to meet them." Roland says with a warm smile on his face as Joanna blushes lightly, remembering about a certain...dream that she had last night as she lifts up her cup of coffee to drink it while looking away awkwardly.
"T-Thanks, Roland. Ever since we moved into Trollberg, I wasn't able to meet up with Logan due to either being busy with work or the occasional magical trouble here and there, so it will be nice to reconnect with him, and this can be a good chance to get to know your cousins, Hilda." Joanna says to her daughter excitedly as Hilda gave her mother an awkward smile.
"S-Sure, I guess that sounds cool," Hilda says with a small nervous smile as she still felt weirded out about getting along with a family member that she had never met nor known about until yesterday, but the blue-haired girl was willing to give Logan and Marcus a shot since they seemed pretty nice and Logan did help her and Stitch out with the Marra, so Hilda felt like she owes him and his son a chance.
"Grr, qui od meega havu ot tea hev no eht ploro? (Grrr, why do I have to eat here on the floor?)," Stitch grumbled while being forced to eat from out of a bowl on the floor beside Hilda's chair with Twig and Amun as the blue-haired girl hears him and leans down to whisper into his ear.
"Sorry, Stitch, but you know the rules. When guests are around, you have to act like a dog to hide your secret alien identity, but don't worry, Mr. Trenton won't be around for long, so just bear with it for a while." Hilda whispers as Stitch growled in annoyance but nodded as Hilda went back to her eating, and the blue furry alien glances down at his dog food in disgust but then beamed as Twig and Amun came in while holding three pieces of chicken that they had stolen from...somewhere as the Deer-Fox gave one to a grateful Stitch, and the trio began eating their delicious breakfasts.
"So, Jumba's Little Sister, when is Black-Haired Man and his Dark Brown-Haired Son coming here?" Jumba asked curiously while wearing his Earth Disguise, which consisted of a white fedora with a long black wig that reaches down to his shoulders, two pairs of black sunglasses, a small fake black mustache, a long-sleeved light blue sweater with a white scarf, a black belt with a golden belt buckle, long white pants, and no shoes.
"Oh, Logan and his son should be here any second now." A smiling Joanna says just as the doorbell rang out as Pleakley beams.
"Wow, you weren't kidding, that was fast," Pleakley says while wearing her Earth Disguise, which consisted of a long curly blonde wig that reaches past her shoulders, pink eyeshadow, two white hoop rings, a small mole on her left cheek, red lipstick, a big white sunhat, a long floral light blue dress that reaches down to her legs, a small white purse, and white high-heeled shoes.
"He, he, yeah, come on, Hilda, let's go and greet our cousins," Joanna says as Hilda nodded and stood up from the table as the girls walked out of the Dining Room with a curious Stitch deciding to follow after them on all fours as they made their way to the front door of the apartment and Joanna opened the door as the trio were surprised to see a 6-year-old brown-haired little girl standing in front of them and a black furry shepherd dog stood beside her as the little girl sniffled sadly.
"H-Hello? Can you help me? I lost my family and my dog, and I have been knocking on every apartment door of this building to ask for help, but everybody keeps slamming their doors in our faces. Can you please be kind and help us out?" The teary-eyed brown-haired girl says with her dog whining sadly as Hilda and the others felt their hearts go out for the poor little girl as Joanna went over to bend down and place her hand on the little girl's shoulder reassuringly.
"Don't worry, sweetheart, we'll be glad to help you out. Now, why don't we come in and-,"
"Ha! Psyche!" The little girl says with a snort and a laugh before she suddenly whirled around and transformed back into a smirking Marcus as the dog laughed at the shocked looks on Joanna, Hilda, and Stitch's face before black/purple smoke covered his body as he slowly transformed back into a grinning Logan.
"We got you, didn't we?" Logan says as he and a laughing Marcus shared a high five as the group blinked before composing themselves as Joanna rolled her eyes amusedly while Hilda and Stitch couldn't help but laugh a bit at the small prank they pulled on them.
"Yeah, you did. Good to see you, Loggy." Joanna says while walking over to hug her cousin as Logan smiled and hugged her back.
"Same, it's nice to meet up with you after so long, Jo-Jo," Logan says before letting go of her as Joanna then turned to smile down at Marcus.
"Ah, Marcus, you have grown up to be such a handsome little man," Joanna says while bending down to pinch Marcus's cheeks as he flushed in embarrassment before grinning as the Changeling whirled around to transform into a 6'5-feet-tall muscular slick black-haired Latino man.
"Yeah, I have," Marcus says while flexing his muscles as he laughed arrogantly, and Joanna chuckles slightly at her cousin's antics and stood up to give him a kiss on the cheek.
"You're so cute." Joanna cooed as Marcus blushes sheepishly and shifted back into his normal form as Hilda giggled in the background, gaining the group's attention as Joanna beamed and walked over to Hilda as she placed her hand on her daughter's shoulder. "Hilda, I would like for you to officially meet my cousin Logan Crane and his son and my Adoptive First Cousin Once Removed Marcus Crane," Joanna says while lightly pushing Hilda forwards as the blue-haired girl gave the Crane Men an awkward smile.
"Hello," Hilda says while waving at them as Joanna nodded in satisfaction as the light auburn-haired woman then went over to Logan and Marcus.
"Logan? Marcus? I would like you both to officially meet your First Cousin Once Removed and Second Cousin Once Remove, Hilda." Joanna says as Logan grins amusedly and chuckles.
"Oh, yeah, we already met before yesterday when Hilda and her friends were at her Library," Logan says as Joanna blinks in surprise by this.
"Really?" Joanna asks as Marcus nods.
"Yep, we spotted them walking around in the Library and recognized Hilda from the pictures that you've sent us of her, and we decided to talk with her for a while," Marcus explains.
"Yeah, but we didn't introduce ourselves to her yet since we wanted to wait until we see you show up to do so. Anyway, I'm really happy to finally meet you, Hilda." Logan says while walking over to bend down to Hilda's eye level and reaches out to hug her as Hilda was surprised this, but decided to reluctantly hug him back as Logan lets go of her, and the blue-haired girl then grunted in pain as Marcus went over to slap her back playfully.
"It's nice to finally meet you, cus, Marcus says as Hilda rubs her back to soothe her pain but smiled at him nervously as she nodded.
"Y-Yeah, it's nice to meet you both, I guess," Hilda says with a thumbs-up as Joanna then coughs to get everyone's attention.
"Well, anyway, why don't we go inside and have a talk with the others?" Joanna proposed as everyone nodded in agreement.
"That sounds good...oh, and I was wondering if we're allowed to have Ivy inside of your apartment?" Logan asked curiously as Joanna beamed.
"Oh, you brought Ivy with you? That's great! I'm sure that she and Twig will get along just fine." Joanna says with a smile as Hilda and Stitch raised an eyebrow at her confusedly.
"Who's Ivy?" Hilda asked as Marcus smirked.
"Oh, you will see. Ivy! Come here, girl!" Marcus yelled while whistling as a loud bark rang out, and the group turned their heads as Hilda and Stitch's eyes widen in shock as they saw a female Deer-Fox making her way down the hallway. The Female Deer-Fox has purple fur with white antlers on the top of her head, some white spots on her back, and a long bushy tail. Her name is Ivy, Logan's pet/friend.
"Ooh, another Deer-Fox! And she's so cute!" Hilda squealed while clapping her hands together as Stitch tilted his head thoughtfully before turning his head into the apartment to bark loudly, gaining Twig's attention as the male Deer-Fox walks out of the apartment to see why Stitch was calling for him, but then beamed as he spotted a beautiful female Deer-Fox around his age standing before him and was quick to run over and introduce himself to an equally happy Ivy as they sniffed each other curiously.
"He, he, yeah, her name is Ivy. I found her in the woods one day lost as a baby, so I decided to take her in and raise her. Cute, isn't she?" A smirking Logan asked as Hilda nodded while eagerly running over to play with Twig and Ivy, who ran around her and licks her as she giggled.
"Well, come on, let's go inside, everybody," Joanna says as the others nod and begins entering Joanna's apartment with Twig and Ivy in Hilda's arms. "Hey, everyone," Joanna says while walking into the Dining Room with the others as Roland, Jumba, Pleakley, and Amun turned to them. "I would like you all to meet our cousins, Logan and Marcus Crane," Joanna says, introducing Logan and Marcus to the others as Roland and the others all greeted the Crane Men, respectively.
"Wait, Jumba, Pleakley, why are you two wearing your Earth Disguises? Marcus and I already know that you're aliens." Logan says with him and Marcus sharing confused looks as Joanna looks surprised by what he said, and Hilda, Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakley could only gasp sharply, and their faces paled in horror as they slowly turned over to Roland to see what his reaction will be.
"...Yeah, I was wondering that too," Roland says with a raised eyebrow as Hilda and the others gaped at him in disbelief.
"Hold on a minute, why isn't Blonde-Haired Man shocked nor scared that Jumba, Pleakley, and 626 are aliens?" A bewildered, nervous Jumba asked as Roland nodded with a shrug.
"Oh, yeah, Joanna told me all about Stitch, you guys, and everything that has happened in the last couple of months when we were out of town on Joanna's Business Trip."
"Mum!" Hilda whined with a glare while placing down Twig and Ivy, who ran off to play with a squawking Amun as Joanna simply shrugs sheepishly at her daughter and laughed nervously.
"W-Well, I couldn't keep lying to Roland forever and, since I got to know him pretty well these last few months, I thought it was time that I finally told him everything about our secret alien friends and such," Joanna says before turning to the Crane Men as she raised an eyebrow at them. "But, wait, how do you two know about Stitch and the others being aliens?"
"It wasn't that hard to figure out, to be honest," Marcus says with a shrug as Logan nodded in agreement. "Their Earth Disguises are-,"
"Terrible, yeah, we know." An annoyed Hilda, Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakley says as they rolled their eyes.
"I also know about Alfur, but I can't see him yet since Joanna said that I have to sign some forms or whatever," Roland added in as a confused, curious Pleakley turned to him.
"But wait, if you knew that we were Aliens, then why didn't you say anything when we were disguised and acted like humans during breakfast?" Pleakley asked as Roland simply shakes his head and raised his hands.
"Hey, don't look at me. I just figured that Joanna told you guys that I knew about your secret and that you were feeling too awkward to act like your normal selves around me, so you all decided to play around with your Earth Disguises." Roland says defensively as Hilda and the others blinked at this slowly before sighing heavily as Jumba and Pleakley took off their wigs, sunglasses, and hat as Stitch stood up on his two feet.
"Ugh, luloli. Ta gist meega bobio ot polonio rekiuo ym fequsia no eht poflo iki a hug wewki. (Ugh, finally. At least I don't have to continue eating my breakfast on the floor like a dog anymore.)," Stitch says while walking over to sit down on the table as he continued eating his breakfast casually.
"Aww, how sweet," Joanna says, smiling at what Roland says as Logan sees this and smirks slyly as he crossed his arms.
"Who's this, your husband-to-be?" Logan asked teasingly as Joanna and Roland blushed slightly at what he said with the light auburn-haired woman swats Logan's arm playfully.
"NO!" Hilda screamed with a glare while stomping her foot onto the floor harshly as everybody, including the pets, slowly turns to stare at her oddly, and the blue-haired girl blushes in embarrassment and coughs as she looks away sheepishly. "N-No, he isn't," Hilda says awkwardly while walking over to sit down on the table to quietly eat her breakfast as Joanna, Logan, and Marcus watched her go worriedly...before shrugging as they went over to sit down on the table.
"A-Anyway, Logan, why don't you tell us about you and your son?" Pleakley asked Logan both curiously and wanting to change the awkward conversation as the Mutant/Warlock Man was happy to oblige and nodded.
"Sure. As Joanna said earlier, I'm her and Hilda's cousin, and I have grown up all of my life here in Trollberg, where I was childhood friends with Joanna, my future girlfriend, Kaisa, Martin, and a woman named Gerda," Logan says as Hilda perked up at what he said.
"Wait, Martin? As in my Father? You knew him?" Hilda asked curiously as Logan nodded with a warm smile on his face.
"Yeah, I did. We were close friends." Logan says before sighing heavily as he looked away with a somber, saddened look on his face. "I miss him a lot, to be honest. Martin was a good man. He didn't deserve to die in that Troll Incident."
"Wait, what? What Troll Incident? I thought Dad died out of a heart attack in the woods." A confused Hilda says as Logan turned to her with a confused raised eyebrow and was about to speak up, only for Joanna to elbow him as she gave him a desperate look that reads, 'Don't tell her the truth, she's not ready to hear it yet' and Logan purses his lips at this disapprovingly, but decided to respect his cousin's wishes as he then turned back to Hilda.
"Oh, right, I was thinking of someone else," Logan says as Hilda nods and went back to her breakfast, the group not knowing that Stitch was staring up at Joanna and Logan suspiciously as he narrowed his eyes. "Anyway, after I grew up, I decided to join the British Army when I was eighteen and later became the Peacemaker of Trollberg," Logan explains.
"Peacemaker? Please elaborate for Jumba." Jumba says while rubbing his chin thoughtfully as the others didn't quite understand what Logan means either.
"Well, my job in the city is to protect every civilian in Trollberg from all kinds of dangers, normal wise or magic wise with my powers."
"Koko? Ho, heh, eyo ouy tuko-gufyio loko. Meega saw winning ot ksk huyo pop (Powers? Oh, yeah, when you shape-shifted earlier. I was meaning to ask about that)," Stitch says as Hilda nods.
"Same. How can you do the whole shape-shifting thing, Logan? Are you also a Changeling like Marcus?" Hilda asked as the Crane Men shook their heads.
"Nope. Dad gets his magic from Grandma, who's a Witch." Marcus says as Logan nods.
"Yeah, although they didn't kick in until I was thirteen years old but I was able to train myself enough to use them effectively when I was in the Army, and it helped later became a Military General tasked with protecting Trollberg and fought a lot of evil dudes in the past. From criminals, thugs, terrorists, etc., you name it, I fought it."
"Wow! That sounds really cool, Mr. Crane!" Hilda says with an impressed look on her face as Logan smiles down at the blue-haired girl and pats her head.
"Thanks, Hilda, but you don't have to act so formally with me. You can call me by my name." Logan says reassuringly as Hilda smiled lightly and nodded as she was about to say something when suddenly the doorbell rings as Joanna stood up from the table and went over to answer the door as she saw Frida and David standing in front of them while wearing their Sparrow Scout Uniforms.
"Hey, Hilda's Mum. Are Hilda and Stitch here?" Frida asked friendly as Joanna raised an eyebrow confusedly but nodded as she welcomed the kids into her apartment and leads them into the Dining Room.
"Hilda, Stitch, your friends are here," Joanna says while gesturing at Frida and David as the dynamic duo turned to them curiously.
"Oh, hey, guys, what are you doing here so early in the morning? And why are you two wearing your Sparrow Scout Uniforms?" Hilda asked curiously as Frida raised an eyebrow at her confusedly.
"What are you talking about? Don't you two remember that we have plans today to earn out Botany Badges?" Frida asked as Hilda and Stitch's eyes widen in realization as they facepalmed.
"Oh, yeah, we forgot that was today! Mum, is it alright that Stitch and I go to the park with our friends to earn Sparrow Scout Badges?" Hilda asked hopefully as Joanna hums worriedly and looked out at the window as she saw how hard it was pouring in the morning.
"I'm not sure if you kids will be able to do your project today, Hilda, on the account of all of the heavy rain going on," Joanna says as Stitch waved his hand around reassuringly.
"No worry. Victoria Van Gale got it covered." Stitch says as Hilda nodded with a smile.
"Yeah, she says that the heavy rain on the West Side of the City should only last in a couple of hours, but it's going to end in five...four...three...two...one." Hilda counted down before pointing out at the window as the rain finally stops, and it immediately becomes sunny without a touch of gray clouds anywhere.
"Wow, that woman is amazingly accurate." A shocked Joanna says.
"I know, right?" Hilda says with a giggle.
"Yeah, a little too accurate," Roland says while glaring out into the sunny city suspiciously.
"Well, anyway, if the weather outside is clear of any rain, then I guess you guys could go," Joanna says as Hilda and Stitch beamed.
"Awesome, thanks, Mum. Guys, wait here until Stitch and I change. Be back in twenty minutes." Hilda says as she and Stitch jump out of their chairs and were about to run out until Logan called them out.
"Hey, wait, Hilda, do you and your little friends mind if Marcus comes along with you? This could be a good chance for you two to get to know each other better." Logan says as Joanna seems happy about this and nods in agreement.
"Yeah, what do you say, Hilda?"
"Uh, sure, it's cool, I guess. What do you guys think?" Hilda asked Frida and David.
"Well, as long as he doesn't slow us down, then it's okay." Frida says with a careless handwave.
"Ditto," David says as he doesn't see any reason to not have Marcus go with them.
"It's settled then. Marcus? Go out with Hilda and her friends on their Sparrow Scout Thing to get to know your cousin."
"Sure, whatever you say, Pops," Marcus says with a shrug while leaping off from his chair as he walked over to the group just as Hilda and Stitch run off to change/dress up as Roland, Jumba, and Pleakley stand up from their chairs.
"Well, while the kids are off doing their own thing, Jumba, Pleakley, and I are going out into the city to explore. I promised them that I will take them to the Trollberg Science Emporium and Science Center, respectively." Roland says with Jumba and Plekaley nodding in agreement as they put on their hats, wigs, and sunglasses.
"Don't wait up," Pleakley says while waving the group goodbye as he, Jumba, Roland, and Amun made their way out of the apartment.
"Well, since everyone else is busy, why don't you and I continue catching up?" Joanna says as Logan smiled and nodded as they walked off into the Living Room to continue talking while Frida and the boys waited for Hilda and Stitch to finish putting on their outfits.
"Alright, to earn the Botany Badge, we need to identify and collect samples of ten local plants," Frida explained to the group while making their way through the Trollberg Park as Hilda and Stitch were wearing their Sparrow Scout uniforms and, along the way, they and Marcus decided to explain who Marcus and his father were to Frida and David. "Which is why I chose this area for maximum efficiency. All the plants we need should be within this half acre." Frida says while spreading out her hands to show off the small meadow that she had led the group to as Marcus whistles in appreciation.
"Wow, nice planning there. Pretty smart." Marcus complimented with his hands in his pockets as Frida blushes lightly at the praise and smiled brightly with a nod as David noticed this and tilted his head confusedly but then gets distracted by something off-screen as he gasped.
"Whoa, guys, look! I found Crabgrass...and more Crabgrass...and even more Crabgrass!" David exclaimed excitedly while running around and collecting multiple Crabgrasses as Frida giggled at her friend's antics amusedly.
"David, baby, we only need one of those for our project," Frida says as Hilda perks up at what she said and turns over to give the black-haired teen a sly look as Frida raised an eyebrow at her. "What?"
"Oh, nothing," Hilda says with a knowing chuckle as she ran off with Stitch and Marcus following after her as Frida raised an eyebrow at her odd blue-haired friend before shrugging as she walked over to help David with the search of the ten local flowers.
"So, what was that about?" Marcus asked his cousin curiously as she shrugged at him with a smile.
"It's nothing, really. Anyway, why don't you help Stitch and I find some flowers." Hilda says as Marcus purses his lip but then shrugged as the group then spends the next thirty minutes searching around for the specified flowers that they need for their Botany Badge.
"Alright, it's been half an hour. What flowers have you all collected so far, guys?" Frida asked with David standing beside her, covered with Crabgrass as Hilda, Stitch, and Marcus appeared.
"Well, I found dandelions and purple thistle." An unenthusiastic Hilda says while holding out a couple of dandelions and purple thistle flowers.
"Stitch found sunflowers," Stitch says with his extra arms popped out and his yellow jersey rolled up as Experiment 626 was holding a couple of sunflowers in his four hands.
"I was able to get several tulips," Marcus stated with a proud smirk as he was able to find a small field of tulips that were rather hard to get due to them being stuck inside of a large tree with a small opening that wasn't big enough for him to squeeze through, but Marcus easily solved the problem by morphing into a five-year-old boy and crawling inside to get the tulips.
"Perfect, guys, we're making excellent progress. If we continue going like this, we should be done by lunch." Frida says while clapping her hands together cheerfully as Hilda, however, raised an eyebrow at her friend in bewilderment and placed her flowers in her backpack.
"But all of the flowers that we found are either boring weeds or average dull flowers. We haven't found any that are amazing or worthwhile yet."
"True, but they do fulfill the requirements, that's what's important here, Hilda." Frida pointed out while holding out the book that details all of the different flowers and fauna in Trollberg and beyond to Hilda and the others.
"You have a point, but still, I'm with Hilda on this. If we're going to be collecting flowers, we should at least get the best ones out there." Marcus says while crossing his arms as Hilda gave her cousin a grateful look.
"Thank you, Marcus. Earning these badges isn't about filling out paperwork or doing things by the book. It's about having new experiences, adventures."
"Ih. Plus, Stitch's bored." Stitch says dryly while letting go of the flowers that he was holding as he retracted his extra limbs back into his body and rolled down his jersey.
"Yeah, if we're going to earn badges, we should at least do it in a more fun way," Hilda says while reaching out to snatch Frida's book from out of her hands as she began circling through the pages. "Like, why can't we look for a petaled manivore? Or a struggling snake vine? Or-Ooh, how about we get one of these?" An eager Hilda asked while showing the page about the Blue Nettle Flower to her friends as Frida frowns lightly and Marcus looked intrigued.
"Oh, now that flower looks pretty cool. Why don't we find of those instead?" Marcus asked while placing his hands in his pocket as Frida shakes her head and reaches out to grab her book back from Hilda.
"Well, for one, none of the flowers that Hilda mentioned are in the city. Two, the Blue Nettle is an incredibly rare flower that is hard to find."
"That's not true. I've seen one." David says, speaking up for the first time as the group turned to him in shock/disbelief.
"Choobata? (Really?)," Stitch asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I don't know what Stitch said, but yeah, I saw a Blue Nettle before."
"What? But that's impossible!" Frida says while spreading out her hands in exasperation as David raised his hands and shakes his head.
"No, no, seriously, I saw one a couple of months ago, right before Hilda and Stitch moved into the city, but Frida's right. We should probably leave it alone since the area that flower is located in is haunted."
"Oh! Did you say haunted? As in, you saw...ghosts!?" An excited Hilda says, with Stitch sharing the same sentiment, as both of them were basically trembling in awe to finally meet a real-life ghost.
"Yes...well, no. I haven't really seen a Ghost. I heard one...well, several, really, but yeah. They were talking about the weather."
"Why would Ghosts talk about the weather?" A confused Marcus asked as David shrugged at him.
"A rare flower?" Hilda started eagerly.
"Kukio lel Ghosts? (Probably real Ghosts?)," Stitch continued with a beam.
"Ooh! This sounds like the start of a great adventure! I say we investigate!" An excited Hilda says with Stitch nodding in agreement as they shared a high five.
"David...why...why did you tell Hilda and Stitch, of all people, that you saw Ghosts? Now, we have to spend all day looking for them." An annoyed Frida says, knowing how this was going to play out as she facepalmed.
"Heh, sorry, Frida," David says with a sheepish laugh as Frida gave him a deadpan glare before turning to Marcus as she smiled at him.
"Marcus, can you please tell your cousin to forget about the Blue Nettle and the Ghosts so that we can focus on our project and finish it quickly?"
"Well, normally I would, but, like Stitch, I am getting pretty bored here, so the idea of investigating around to find a rare flower and Ghosts sounds way too good to pass up. Besides, I love a good adventure."
"Wait, really? Me too!" A beaming Hilda says as she was happy to find someone that loves adventures as much as she, Stitch, and her late father did.
"Oh, great, there's two Hildas now," Frida mumbled under her breath irritably before taking a deep breath to calm her nerves as she turned to Hilda. "Look, Hilda, I think it's best that you shut off that Hilda Tingle of yours so that we can focus on earning that Botany Badge."
"W-Wait, I-I'm sorry the w-what?!" Marcus asked with a laugh as Hilda blushes in embarrassment and waves him off.
"It's nothing! Forget you heard anything!" Hilda says with a nervous laugh before turning to Frida. "Please, Frida, can we go and investigate the possible haunted sighting? Stitch and I always wanted to meet Ghosts, and this could be our final chance...and, if we find the Blue Nettle, we won't just earn the badge, we'll earn it with golden wings." Hilda says slyly while pointing at one of the few golden-winged badges that Frida had in her sash as the black-haired-girl tried to remain stoic and strong, but when she saw Hilda and Stitch giving her pleading looks with puppy dog eyes, Frida eventually gives in as she sighs heavily and lowered her head.
"Hmmm, alright, I'm in, but please, no shenanigans," Frida says as Hilda and Stitch nod vigorously.
"Got it, no shenanigans."
"Ih." Stitch says before he and the others then went off to find the haunted area from where the Blue Nettle was located as David led the way.
"I would've never come here on my own, but I was following a very interesting rabbit," David explained to the group before they all arrived at the area from where he had seen the alleged Ghosts as the brown-haired boy then pointed over at where a nest of Blue Nettles lied. "Look, there's the Blue Nettle, guys! And, if you listen quietly, you can hear the Ghosts talking to each other," David says as the others nodded and listen carefully as they were surprised to hear thousands of voices near them. "See? I told you." David says as the gang nodded again before stepping forwards to further investigate the area, but then their eyes widened in shock at what they see as they all stop in their tracks.
"Oh...my...God." Hilda says with wide eyes.
"Ih, this valley isn't covered with Ghosts." Stitch continues.
"The whole valley is covered with...Elves!" Frida says with a surprised tone as she and the others saw an entire Elf Village placed alongside the Trollberg Wall, near the Blue Nettle Flowers as all of the Elves wore Medieval Clothing with gray/brown beards/mustaches as they were holding ancient weapons like spears, swords, shields, etc., and also lived in hollowed out rock-like houses that have lights inside of them.
"Man...this is kind of a letdown," Marcus says with a pout, disappointed that he wasn't able to meet Ghosts as Hilda and Stitch nodded in agreement as puzzled Frida turned to a stunned David.
"What made you think that all of these Elves are Ghosts?" Frida asked while crossing her arms as David raised his hands in surrender.
"Hey, to be fair, this was before we met Hilda and Stitch and had us sign Alfur's Paperwork to be able to see him and other Elves."
"So, what do we do now? Just go in and get the flower?" Marcus asked while placing his hands on his hips as Frida glared in determination and nodded.
"Yeah, we came all this way, so we're not gonna let a bunch of tiny Barbaric Elves get in our way. Let's go in and take one of the flowers." Frida says as Hilda and Stitch flinched at what she said worriedly.
"Uh, Frida? I wouldn't do that if I was you. Trust me, dealing with Elves can be a tad difficult and, with these ones, I feel that if we make one false move, they would-," Hilda says before getting cut off by her friend Frida as she took one step towards the Elf Village and, immediately, everyone went on high alert as what seems to be the leader of the Village jumps onto a rock and pulled out a small black horn as he blows on it. The Leader of the small Village of Elves is a 1-inch-tall, 65-year-old male Elf with a round-shaped head, small black eyes, pointy ears, no nose, a small black mouth with a large light gray braided beard and mustache, stick-like arms/legs, a white complexion, a slim built, and his outfit consists of a pale purple cap, a long pale purple cape with white furry trimmings, a black quilt, and light purple boots with white trimmings as he also carried on a spear. His name is Bartell Bragga, the Leader of the Bragga Elves.
"ATTACK THE GIANT HUMANS AND THEIR DEMON PET!" Bartell commanded as his fellow Elves nodded and pulled out their melee weapons while getting to battle stances as multiple other Eleves summonsed their bows and fired several arrows at the group as a couple of other Elves got into catapults and shot multiple small rocks at them.
"Ow! I've been hit!" David shouted while dodging the array of arrows and rocks flying towards him as a couple of arrows were able to hit his arms and legs.
"They're attacking! Hilda yelled while wincing as she and the others were pelted with rocks.
"Thank you, Captain Obvious!" Marcus yelled sarcastically while rapidly transforming into several adult and children forms to avoid the Bragga Elves' attacks.
"No need to be rude!" Hilda screamed while glaring at her cousin lightly as she then turned to Stitch, who was raising his hands to cover himself from the Elves' onslaught. "Stitch! Shield Form Activate!" Hilda exclaimed as Stitch nodded seriously while rolling up his yellow jersey as he summoned his extra pair of arms and held them out as Hilda and Frida were quick to reach out and grab Stitch's arms as the girls held him up in the air and started using Experiment 626 as a shield to protect themselves from the Elves' attacks as David and Marcus hide behind the girls as Marcus was in the form of a five-year-old little girl with red hair in the style of pigtails.
"DEFEND THE CLAN TILL YOUR LAST BREATH!" A random Bragga Elf shouted while riding on a small bird with a whole horde of his people floating above him on their own bird rides as they then flew down towards the group to peck them to death.
"Stitch! Windmill Ear Attack Activate!" Hilda ordered as Stitch nodded and spreads out his ears as they started spinning around rapidly like a fan, and the girls were quick to hold Stitch out in front of them as the Elf Birds Riders collided against his spinning ears and were pelted away with a scream as the group began making their way through the valley, not noticing that several Elves were placing a trap for them by placing a thin rope in between two rocks as Hilda and the others ended up tripping over it and falling down with a couple of surprised yelps as Stitch's ears stopped spinning and Marcus reflexively transformed back into his normal form.
"Kok lio yuuga poh fifi tat, govu?! (How did you did not see that, girls?!)," An annoyed Stitch asked while getting up from the floor as the group did the same.
"How did you not see that, Mr. I can see through walls and can see a small ant placed on the other side of the city?!" Hilda countered back sassily as Stitch narrowed his eyes at her.
"Uyió (Touché)," Stitch says as David suddenly gasps and pointed ahead.
"Guys, look," David says as the gang looked to where he was pointing and saw a small brown furry bunny standing in front of them. "It's the rabbit that I saw," David says with a smile before wincing as he saw that a glaring Elf was riding on the bunny.
"Charge!" The Bragga Elf shouted as more Elf Bunny Riders appeared, and they all began charging towards the group.
"Enough, arguing! We need to get out of here!" Marcus yelled as Hilda nodded firmly.
"Got it! Stitch! Leapfrog Mode Activate!" Hilda screamed as Stitch nodded and reaches out to grab Hilda and Frida by their waists with his four arms as he made sure to have a firm grip on them before grunting as Experiment 626 leaped up high into the air while still holding onto the girls as Marcus transformed into a 30-year-old male buffed bodybuilder and used the muscles in his legs to leap after Stitch and the girls at a much lower height.
"Hey! Guys! Wait for me!" David shouted as he tried to run after his friends, only for the Bragga Elves' Bunny Riders to pull out several ropes and used them to tie up David's arms and legs as they swiftly tied him up, ensuring him as a nervous David struggled to escape. "Oh, cruddlesticks." David cutely cursed before looking around as he gulps. "Uh, guys? A little help here!"
"Whew, that was close," Hilda says with a smile as Stitch had earlier landed behind a huge rock near the Bragga Elf Village and placed the girls back down on the ground as Marcus appears shortly after and landed in front of the group as he whirled around to change back into his default form.
"Ugh, we should've just stuck to Crabgrass, and, by the way, I totally call shenanigans." A groaning Frida says while laying her head against the huge rock behind her as she briefly glared at a sheepish Hilda and Hilda before closing her eyes to take a quick break to calm herself down...but then her eyes flew open in realization as Frida gasped sharply. "Wait! Where's David?!" A panicking Frida asked as the group looked around and gasped as Hilda turned to her cousin.
"Hey, why isn't David with you? What part of Leapfrog Mode Activate, didn't you understand? You were supposed to grab David and run off!" Hilda yelled as Marcus raised his hands with an irritated look on his face.
"Hey, don't blame me for this! I'm new to your group, remember? I don't know all about your weird codes or attack phrases or whatever!" An indignant Marcus yelled.
"David has been left behind! We have to go back to him!" An extremely worried Frida screams as she was about to run out of cover to try and rescue David, but was stopped by Stitch as he reaches out to grab Frida's arm and shakes his head at her with a serious frown on his face.
"Naga, too dangerous," Stitch says while retracting his limbs as he lets go of Frida's arm and rolled down his jersey.
"Stitch's right. We can't just storm in and attack the village. Sure, we can easily defeat all of them all, but they could cause us a lot of problems once they find out where we live. It's better to handle this situation with someone that is more experienced with Elf affairs. Quick, follow me. We're going back to our apartment to get Aflur's help."
"Who's Alfur?" A curious Marcus asked.
"Stitch and Hilda explain on the way," Stitch says as Marcus nodded and the group ran off to make their way out of Trollberg Park.
"Really? Are you sure that they are Elves?" An unconvinced, confused Alfur asked as we fast forward in time and see the gang residing in Hilda and Stitch's room as the dynamic duo were sitting on Hilda's bed with said girl petting Twig and Ivy as Frida and Marcus sat near Hilda's desk with Alfur standing on it as he didn't quite believe the tale that the group had told them.
"Positive." Hilda said sincerely as Stitch nodded with an 'Ih'.
"That seems impossible. I'm the only Elf in Trollberg...unless..."
"Unless what?" Frida asked with a raised eyebrow as Alfur hummed thoughtfully and placed his hand on his chin as he paced around.
"Hmmm, I have a theory, but quick, how did these Elves look like?"
"Well, they kind of looked like this," Marcus says while whirling around as he now had a more round-shaped head with small black eyes, pointy ears, no nose, a small black mouth, a large light gray braided beard and mustache, stick-like arms/legs, a white complexion, a slim built, and was wearing a pale purple cap, a long pale purple cape with white furry trimmings, a black quilt, and light purple boots with white trimmings. "But you know, tinier," Marcus added in awkwardly as Alfur gasped in extreme shock at what he said.
"Egad! I can't believe it! You kids have discovered the Lost Clan of the Nothern Counties! Oh, this is fantastic news! Finally, the contracts can be signed!" Alfur yelled with an excited glee as he began scaling up to his homemade room in Hilda and Stitch's room.
"Finally!/Ukuruku!" Hilda and Stitch exclaimed happily as Frida and Marcus turned to the duo confusedly.
"Wait, what he's actually talking about?"
"Oh, I'm not actually sure," Hilda says with a lopsided goofy smile and a shrug
"Ih. Meega neither." Stitch says as Frida and Marcus sweatdrop at their friends/cousin's answers.
"So, Alfur, what are you talking about with the whole contract thing?" Hilda asks her Elf friend as she heard him rummaging around in his homemade home as if he was looking for something.
"Oh, it's a thrilling tale!" Alfur yelled from inside of his homemade home but didn't say anything else as the group shared odd looks.
"Quanna luvi huv omo rof tivi, Alfur! Quanna leav ot og nad heya, David! (We don't have time for tales, Alfur! We need to go and save, David!)," An impatient Stitch exclaims just as Alfur stepped out of his home as he was holding some kind of Elf Contract.
"Oh, right, yes, sorry. Don't worry, everybody, I won't deprive you of the drama, so I'll tell you on the way." Alfur says while leaping down into Hilda's outstretched hand.
"Cool, let's get out of here," Hilda says as the others nodded, and they ran out of Hilda and Stitch's room as they made their way past the Living Room, but stop as they heard Logan and Joanna talking on the couch.
"...And, ever since Martin died, I wasn't able to get back on...well, you know, but ever since I met Roland, I've felt this...special connection that I haven't been able to feel since...well, Martin's passing, and I want to get to know him better, but with the way on how Hilda has been acting around Roland...I don't know, Logan. Do you think that I'm making a selfish decision?" Joanna asked her cousin worriedly as Hilda perked up at what her mother said and walked into the Living Room as she coughed.
"Uh, Mum? Is everything okay?" A worried Hilda asked as Joanna and Logan flinched at hearing the blue-haired girl's voice and turned around as they saw Hilda standing in the doorway with her friends.
"O-Oh, yeah, everything is alright, Hilda. Nothing to worry about. Your cousin and I were just talking about boring adult stuff." Joanna says with a sheepish laugh as Logan nodded while Hilda narrowed her eyes at her mother suspiciously but didn't say anything as the older Crane Man finally noticed his son's appearance and raised an eyebrow at this as Logan crossed his arms.
"Uh, son? What's with the new look?" Logan asked while pointing at Marcus's elf appearance as the Changeling realized that he was still transformed as an Elf/Human Hybrid and was quick to shake his transformation away.
"Oh, yeah, sorry about that. I was just showing Alfur what the Medieval Elves look like."
"Alfur?/Medieval Elves?" Logan and Joanna asked confusedly as Frida and Hilda were quick to explain what was going on.
"Oh, earlier on, when we were doing our Sparrow Scout Assignment, we had met up with this group of medieval Elves that attacked us and had kidnapped David. We came here to ask for Alfur's help." Frida says as Joanna's eyes widen worriedly.
"Alfur is an Elf that we made friends with a couple of months ago before we moved into Trollberg and now lives with us to write reports about the city to other Elves," Hilda explains to Logan just as Alfur popped out of her hair as he stood on her shoulder.
"Coo-ee!" Alfur says with a giggle as Logan was surprised to see him.
"Huh, well, I'll be. I thought that I would never see another Elf other than Astrid in the city." Logan says as everyone, minus Marcus, eyes him oddly.
"Who's Astrid?" A curious Stitch asked.
"Oh, she's my Elf friend that lives with me. Say hi, Astrid." Logan says while looking down at his pocket as a soft grumble rang out, and an annoyed female Elf could be seen popping out of his pocket as she glared up at him. The new magical creature is a 1-inch-tall, 24-year-old female Elf with a round-shaped head, small black eyes, long braided blonde hair, pointy ears, no nose, a small black mouth, stick-like arms/legs, a white complexion, a slim toned built, and her outfit consists of a silver body armor with a skintight black jumpsuit underneath, silver shoulder pads, a silver chest, silver kneepads, and silver boots as she was carrying around a silver blade on her back. Her name is Astrid, Logan's Elf Friend, and Elf Warrior.
"What is it, Logan? Can't you see that I'm trying to sleep?" An irritated Astrid says as the group stared at her in shock, especially Alfur, as he couldn't help but be entranced by Astrid's beauty.
"Oh, wow, another Elf in Trollberg! What a surprise!" Hilda says while walking closer to the female Elf as Stitch and the kids did the same. "Hello, there, I'm Hilda. What's your name?" Hilda asked friendly as Astrid glances up at the blue-haired girl with a glare and scoffs as she spits at the ground below her.
"The name's Astrid. What's it to ya, toots?" Astrid asked, kind of rudely, as Hilda and the others were rather put off by her behavior as an embarrassed Logan raised his hands.
"Don't mind her, guys. Astrid is a bit rough around the edges, but she's cool. Trust me." Logan says as Astrid rolled her eyes but then raised an eyebrow as Alfur jumps out of Hilda's shoulder and lands on Logan's shoulder as he made his way over to Astrid.
"H-Hello, there, I'm Alfur of the Northern Counties. It's nice to meet you." Alfur says with a cheerful smile while holding out his hand for Astrid, who stared at it blankly as an awkward Alfur pulls his hand back.
"Wait, back to what you said earlier, did you just say that a group of Elves kidnapped David?!" A shocked Joanna asked as Hilda and the others nodded.
"Yeah, but don't worry, Mum, that's why we came here to ask for Alfur's help so that we can end this peacefully without anyone getting hurt. There will be no Giants or anything dangerous like that this time." Hilda says reassuringly as Joanna purses her lips but sighs heavily as she nodded.
"Fine, I will let you all handle this, but you all better be careful," Joanna says sternly as Hilda and the others nodded.
"Wait, hold on, what are you all talking about?" A confused Astrid asked as she was asleep when Frida explained what happened earlier.
"Oh, a group of these medieval hairy Elves attacked us earlier in the park and had kidnapped David when we were trying to escape. We came here to get Alfur's help in dealing with them." Marcus says as Astrid's eyes widened in recognization and looked away seriously as she hummed before sighing heavily as Astrid turned back to the kids.
"I think that I know which Elves you are talking about and, lucky for you, I've met them before and know how to deal with them, so let me tag along to help out."
"Wait, really? Then sure, you can tag along." Hilda says with a smile, happy to have the help of another Elf as she held out her arm, and Astrid was quick to bounce down in her outstretched hand.
"Thanks for lending a hand, Astrid," Logan says while giving Astrid a knowing look as she looked away stoically but nodded as Logan then turned to Hilda and the others as he gave them a concerned yet serious look on his face. "Stay safe, kids," Logan warns as the group nods before running out of the apartment to head towards Trollberg Park.
"What do we do now, sir?" A Bragga Elf Warrior asked his leader, who shrugged as Bartell and the other Elves were currently watching over a still tied-up David as he was laying on the ground.
"I...don't know. We've never taken a Human Prisoner before...do you think he knows there's a bug in his hair?" Bartell asked the Elf Warrior with a weirded-out look on his face as David glared at him and the other Elves lightly before staring back up into the white sky as he sweated nervously.
"Frida? Hilda? Stitch? Marcus? Anybody? Please help me!" David pleaded nervously as he was wondering when his friends will come back and rescue him from this strange predicament.
"Alright, so can both of you please inform us on who we're dealing with exactly?" Hilda asked the Elves as she and the others were making their way through the streets of Trollberg with Stitch walking on all fours as Alfur was riding on Hilda's head while Astrid, who did not want to ride with an annoying Elf like him, decided to hitch a ride on Stitch's back as she rode him like a horse.
"Oh, we will be delighted too! What do you say, Astrid? Want to help me explain our tale to the kids?" Alfur asked while looking down at Astrid excitedly as she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"Sure, sure, whatever. Anyway, a long time ago, back when the Elves were first born or whatever, two Elf Families meet up with each other during dawn on an ancient plot of useless land. Long story short, they fought over the land as an epic battle rang out with bloodshed and horror all around the area. Many Elves died, but in the end, one of the Elf Families won and banished the other families to die out into the wilderness while they got to have the precious land that they fought over for decades. The fucking end." Astrid says sarcastically as Stitch was amused by the story while Alfur, Hilda, Frida, and Marcus were a bit disturbed.
"U-Uh, well, that's not exactly how it went out, but good summary of the tale, I suppose," Alfur says with a nervous smile before composing himself as he coughed. "Anyway, what Astrid said about the Two Elf Families fighting over the ancient land was true, but there wasn't any fights or bloodshed or anything like that."
"Awww, boo." A disappointed Stitch says as Astrid smirks slightly at what the little alien says.
"Yes, well, you see, the reason on why they wanted the Ancient Land was because...they wanted to execute a Real Estate Contract!"
"Wait...is this a story about paperwork?!" A disbelieving/surprised Frida asked as Alfur nodded with a big smile on his face.
"Oh, yes, most Elf Legends are."
"Unfortunately," Astrid says with a tired sigh as she decided to take the lead on the storytelling. "Anyway, the Aldric Family wished to buy a parcel of their land, but the Bragga Family wanted to sell it and, as you can figure, the Ancient land was one of the oldest and most valuable plots of land in all of Elf Kingdom, so neither side was willing to give in and give their respective enemies custody on the land," Astrid says just as the group arrived at Trollberg Park as they began walking through it to make their way to the Bragga Elf Village.
"Yes, the revisions were fierce, clauses were included, terms were terminated! The Amendments alone took an entire year to finish! And, while I'm not happy to admit, several Elves on both sides of the Family did die, but it was mostly because of exhaustion or starvation from working on the paperwork for months on end with no rest or breaks. Anyway, after four decades or so and many drafts later, it was finally finished! A masterwork of mutual obligation! Both families signed in triplicate and took it to the King of the Elves for his approval, but then tragedy struck! The King realized the Bragga, the Sellers, had only signed twice!"

"...Y-You're supposed to gasp now," Alfur says awkwardly as Hilda lets out a fake cute gasp of shock while Frida, Stitch, and Marcus, however, were too flabbergasted by the rather boring tale to play along with Hilda.
"Really? That's all?" An unimpressed Frida asked while placing her hand on her hips as Marcus rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"Honestly, I think that I prefer Astrid's story."
"Ditto," Stitch says as he and Marcus shared a high five with a smirking Astrid.
"You don't understand! In those ancient days, it was considered treason to bring an unfinished contract before the King! He exiled the Bragga Family on the spot! With the Contract technically unfished, the King declared the plot...NO ELF'S LAND! It reminds untouched, never bought, nor sold, to this very day."
"Os, tat a fufu. Yougan Jin exaxa na wukio faga slav iouyo retek hehe lokotk ot sii yuogn vuo jokipo? Yack's look fo...fuio. (So, wait a minute. Your King exiled an entire family clan simply because they forgot to sign their third signature? That's kind of...mean.)," Stitch says as Astrid scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"Tell me about it. The King was a Douche."
"Hmph, well, I wouldn't say it like that, but yes, the whole Exile was a bit...too much for my tastes, but thankfully, the laws are much fairer now. If a Bragga signs this Contract, their exile will be over."
"Oh, then all we have to do is to find any random Elf Bragga and make him or her sign the contract, right?" Hilda asked hopefully as Alfur, however, shakes his head.
"I'm sorry, my dear, but that won't work on the account that their signature won't have any weight on the contract. Only the Bragga Village Leader can sign it himself or herself."
"And, even then, the Leader of the Bragga Village won't sign the contract. Trust me, I know from experience." Astrid says knowingly as everyone turned to her.
"Oh, really? Pray tell, what was your relationship with the Bragga Family again?" A curious/suspicious Frida asked as Astrid sweated nervously and looked away as she coughed nervously.
"Uh, well, you see, I am-,"
"Granddaughter Astrid?! You've returned!" An exhilarated Bartell yelled as the group turned their heads and realized that they had finally arrived at the Bragga Elf Village, where they saw a tied-up David sitting on a log that was surrounded with Elf Bunny Riders.
"Grandaughter?!" A shocked Hilda, Stitch, Frida, Marcus, and Alfur exclaimed as Astrid nodded with an awkward smile on her face.
"Yeah, surprise, surprise, I'm the Grandaughter of the Bragga Elf's Village Leader Bartell."
"What?! Why did you never tell us that you were a part of this clan?!" A confused Marcus asked.
"Well, for one, it's none of your business. Second, I'm no longer a part of this stupid clan anymore. I left when I was 18."
"But, now, you have realized the error of your ways and come back to live with us again after being gone for 6 Years, right, Astrid?" Bartell asked his Grandaughter hopefully as Astrid glares down at him blankly and jumps off Stitch's back as she made her way over to punch Bartell's arm.
"No, I told you before, and I'll say it again, I don't want to be a part of this stupid clan with these idiots again," Astrid stated firmly before her features soften as she reached over to hug her Grandfather. "But it's good to see you again after so long, Grandpa." Astrid as Bartell smiles softly and hugged her back.
"It's good to see you again, Astrid. Hope you were doing well in the Human City."
"I have, Grandpa. Met some nice people to live with and all." Astrid says with a warm smile on her face as she lets go of him.
"Well, that's good to hear."
"Oh, Astrid? You're part of the Bragga Family? Oh, this is great news. Makes this process much easier." Alfur says with a smile while dropping down from Hilda's head as he made his way over to the small family. "Hello, Astrid's Grandfather. I assume that you are the Leader of this Village, right? Well, I'm a friend of your Granddaughter."
"That's debatable," Astrid says with a frown.
"...and my name is Alfur of the Northern Counties! Are you and your people the Lost Clan?" Alfur asked curiously as Astrid winced at what he said and heard all of the other Elves screaming in anger as a stoic Bartell raised his hand to calm them down.
"Some call us that, yes," Bartell says while glaring down at Alfur as he was rather annoyed that this new Elf showed up to ruin his reunion with his self-exiled Granddaughter. "I am Bartell, the Leader of the proud Bragga Family."
"Oh, really? Good because I have fantastic news! Your exile is over!" Alfur exclaimed, causing all of the Bragga Family to gasp in shock and murmured among themselves as Astrid sees this and flinched as she realized what Alfur was going to say and leaned over to whisper into his ear.
"Alfur, I don't think it's a good idea that you-,"
"All you need to do is to have your village leader sign this contract," Alfur says cheerfully, ignoring what Astrid was saying as he pulled out the contract that he had gotten earlier.
"No!" Bartell screamed while slamming his spear onto the ground as the rest of the Bragga Elves started murmuring in angry agreement.
"Yeah, I may have forgotten to mention that our people had sworn off paperwork forever," Astrid says, shocking Alfur as her Grandfather nodded firmly.
"Ay, Grandaughter Astrid tells the truth, after being exiled by the King for such a small stupid thing as forgetting to sign a contract, our Clan had sworn off from signing any kind of document, not even a receipt!"
"Am I the only one that's getting bored here?" Marcus asked his friends while crossing his arms as Hilda and Stitch shakes their heads.
"Naga, Stitch bored too."
"Yeah, I apologize, Marcus. Our adventures are usually more exciting than...well...this." Hilda says apologetically as Marcus waves off her apology with a reassuring nod.
"N-No paperwork?! B-But, how do you keep track of everything!? Of offers, of acceptance, of terms?!" A stunned Alfur asked as he couldn't believe that the Bragga stopped using paperwork.
"Well, it's simple. We keep our word, and when we don't...we enter combat!" Bartell screamed while twirling around his spear and pointed it at a scared Alfur as the rest of the Bragga Elves started chanting excitedly.
"Awww, how adorable, yet fearsome." Hilda and Frida cooed.
"Oh, finally, things are getting interesting," Marcus says with a grin as he and Stitch shared a high five.
"P-Please, we don't have to fight. It's just one signature, s-sir." Alfur says as Bartell walked up to glare down at him fiercely.
"Yes, just like how our Former King banished us from our own home because of one flipping signature! We will never sign another contract, even if it means our dea...wait a minute." Bartell screamed furiously before stopping as he noticed an odd smell emitting from Alfur...and no, it doesn't mean that he crapped his pants in fear. Alfur is not that cowardly, guys. "What's your interest here?"
"Oh, I'm just a good Samaritan, trying to help out my friends in rescuing David."
"Hello," David says from the background as Bartell narrowed his eyes at Alfur and sniffed him.
"No, it's more than that. Your smell, it's familiar to me," Bartell says while leaning down to sniff Alfur again as he then gasped in realization and got extremely angry as the Leader of the Bragga Family pointed his spear at Alfur's neck. "I know that smell from anywhere! You're an Aldric, aren't you?!"
"Uh...yes. Yes, I am." Alfur admitted with a nervous gulp as everyone, especially Astrid, was shocked by the new piece of information.
"Alfur, your family tried to buy No Elf's Land?" A shocked Hilda asked as Bartell turned to nod at the blue-haired girl.
"Ay, Laddie, they did, and thereby, are responsible for our exile!" Bartell yelled as Astrid raised an eyebrow and coughed to get everyone's attention.
"Well, to be fair, it's our and the King's fault for what happened since we forgot to sign the contract three times, and the King was the one responsible for banishing us in the first place," Astrid added in as Alfur turned to give her a grateful smile. "I'm not defending you or anything like that. I'm just simply stating facts," Astrid says while crossing her arms with a glare as Alfur sweatdrops.
"...Well, that maybe true, but the Current King isn't here, and we're pissed off as hell, so we're going to blame this lad's family here for our exile! There must be combat!" Bartell screamed as the Elf Bunny Riders let out a loud battle cry and hoped over to circle an incredibly scared, nervous Alfur. "You, Alfur of the Nothern Counties, will not leave this land until you take on all ten of our Elf Bunny Warriors...including Agnes!" Bartell screamed while pointing ahead as the gang saw a 45-year-old Elf Woman standing on top of a bunny that had scars on it.
"Hey, Agnes," Astrid says with a smile while waving at the woman Elf, who had dropped her serious, stoic demeanor to smile at Astrid warmly. Agnes a 1-inch-tall, 45-year-old female Elf with a round-shaped head, small black eyes with one of them being destroyed, short curly grey hair, pointy ears, no nose, a small black mouth, an 'X'-shaped scar on her cheek, stick-like arms/legs, a white complexion, a muscular slender built, and her outfit consists of a golden body armor with a skintight light purple jumpsuit underneath, golden shoulder pads, a long pale purple cape with white furry trimmings, a golden chest, golden kneepads, and golden boots as she was carrying around a golden spear and a shield on her back. Her name is Agnes, The Elf Bragga Family's Best Warrior.
"Hello, deary, how have you been?" Agnes asked with a grandmotherly type voice as Astrid shrugged.
"Eh, pretty good, fighting monsters and such, and, don't worry, I made sure to not skip out on my training regimen, so I'm as strong as I was before, maybe even more."
"That's good to hear," Agnes says with a smile as Astrid turned to the others.
"Agnes was my Mentor and who taught me how to fight. Trust me, she may be small, but I once saw Agnes snap a Troll's neck." Astrid says with a starry-eyed look of adoration on her face as the others gasped in shock at this, and Agnes nodded before gaining a more ruthless look as she took out her spear and shield.
"I-I don't want to fight someone that can snap a Troll's neck." A shaking, terrified Alfur says as Hilda and the others were quick to step up and defend their friend.
"Don't worry, Alfur, nobody challenges our friend into a fight without us being around to help him. Stitch! Battle Mode!" Hilda shouted as Stitch nodded and quickly took off his orange beanie, orange sash, and yellow jersey as he then grew out his alien appendages, and one of his extra hands was holding a small Plasma Gun as Stitch tossed it over to Hilda, who quickly aimed it at the Bragga Family as she glared at them. "Bring it on, you bunnies!"
"Yeah!" Marcus yelled while whirling around to morph into a muscular, tall man as both groups got into a battle stance and were about to fight each other in an epic battle of epic proportions, but then-
"Hold on! Everyone calm down!" Frida yelled while stepping in between her friends and the Bragga Elves as she held her hands out. "We don't have to fight!"
"Boo!" Marcus and Stitch yelled at Frida, who ignored the immature boys as she turns to look down at Bartell.
"Contracts always have loopholes and such. There's must be another solution."
"Yeah, I have to agree with Frida here. While I love a good fight as much as the next one, I'm afraid that Alfur here will die really quickly, so how about we settle this in a more peaceful way." Astrid says, surprising the Bragga Family as Frida gave the Elf a thankful nod for supporting her and then bends down to Bartell's eye level.
"Give us a day to see if we can find a solution to this little problem that will make everybody happy." Frida proposed as Bartell begins to think.
"Hmmm, well, we might be barbaric, but we're also fair...at times. Alright, then, your offer is accepted."
"Cool, thanks...oh, and also, if we succeed, you will give us back our friend and that Blue Nettle," Frida added in as Bartell turns to look at David and the Blue Nettle before turning back to the eleven-year-old girl as he nodded stoically.
"Fine, but we're holding onto the boy to make sure you all come back and honor our deal."
"That's all right with me. I imagine it will be way safer here than whatever you end up getting into. I'll just stay here with the hairy, aggressive Elves." David says with a shrug as the group nodded before they began making their way out of Trollberg Park with a disappointed Stitch retracting his alien appendages as he puts his clothes back on.
"I know, Stitch, I know," Hilda says while giving her alien friend a sympathetic pat on the back as she knew how excited he was to fight a group of Elf Warriors.
"Man, this is a lot harder than I thought." A tired Marcus says while laying his head on the table as two hours have passed and we see the gang back at Hilda and Stitch's Apartment, specifically the Dining Room Table as they were currently reading the whole contract for any loopholes of any kind as Stitch read the whole contract in less than a second and proceeds to draw all of the rules and clauses and such on a whiteboard so that the team will have an easier time in reading it.
"Yeah, I agree, this is tough. You Elves are really thorough, aren't you?" Hilda asked Alfur, who was sitting on top on top of the whiteboard with Astrid as they shrugged sheepishly.
"Well, this contract took decades to fill out and perfect, so you know," Astrid says with a careless wave as Hilda nodded before going back to help Frida and Stitch with reading the contents of the contract as an exhausted Marcus was taking a ten-minute break.
"You know what? I think you are right. Alright, Logan, you've convinced me. I will try giving it a try." A smiling Joanna says while walking into the Dining Room with Logan as her cousin nodded with a smirk.
"Anytime," Logan says before both he and Joanna notice that the kids seem to be in what seemed to be an investigation-type mission as they raised an eyebrow at the group.
"What are you all doing here? I thought you were out dealing with the Elves?" A confused Joanna asks.
"We are. We were able to come into a deal with the Bragga Family Elves to free our friend and get the plant that we need for our Botany Badge by reviewing this old ancient contract for loopholes since the Elves refused to sign the contract." Hilda says as Joanna stared down at her daughter blankly.
"Well, that sounds boring as heck, but hey, if you're not getting hurt, then I'm okay with it," Joanna says while kissing Hilda's forehead as she then went off into the kitchen to get a drink.
"Oh, and Dad? Apparently, Astrid is the Granddaughter of the Village Leader and basically exiled from her home." Marcus added in while yawning as a surprised Logan looked up at Astrid.
"Really? Why did you never tell us, Astrid?" Logan asked as Astrid shrugged.
"Eh, it was none of your business," Astrid says as Logan furrowed his eyebrows and sighed heavily as he shakes his head.
"Oh! Gabba! Gabba! Stitch glouve someka! (Oh! Look! Look! Stitch found something!)," Stitch exclaims as everyone perked up and saw him pointing at something on the whiteboard as Frida stood up from the table and walked over to read it closely.
"An Elf Contract is null and void if it is destroyed by the fire of a Lindworm? That's perfect! Good idea, Stitch!" Frida says while patting Stitch's head as he smiled at the praise.
"Oh, so we need to find a Lindworm? Now, that sounds like the plan for an epic adventure!" Hilda says with a bright smile on her face as the blue-haired girl shared a high five with her cousin Marcus, and Logan couldn't help but smile at this warmly, happy that they were getting along as a frowning Alfur shakes his head.
"Mm-mm, no can do, they put that clause in every contract." Alfur says as Astrid nodded while sitting down as she placed her hands on her lap.
"Ay, that clause doesn't actually mean anything. Lindworms are very rare to find in Trollberg, and, even if you do find one, they hate it when we try to have them burn any of our paperwork. Almost as much as the Bragga Family hates the King Elf and signing any document." Astrid says as Alfur nodded with a snort.
"Heh, yeah, it's like the saying, 'When cows fly'."
"You mean pigs." Hilda corrected as Alfur, Astrid, Logan, and Marcu shakes their heads.
"Oh, no. That happens with some regularity."
"Really?" A surprised Hilda says as Frida and Stitch looked equally shocked.
"Yeah, but they only come at nighttime," Logan says as Marcus nods.
"That's true. My Dad, his girlfriend, and I sometimes spend the whole night watching them fly. It's majestic." Marcus says with a grin as Hilda and the others blink slowly.
"Huh, noted," Hilda says before leaning over to Stitch. "Stitch, remember to wake me up at night to see the flying pigs."
"Ih (Okay)," Stitch says with a nod.
"Anyway, do we have any better ideas than to try and find the Lindworm?" Hilda asked as the others shakes their heads. "Well, then, finding a Lindworm it is then."
"Honestly, I prefer finding a rare magical creature than this boring ass paperwork," Marcus says while yawning as he rubbed his eyes.
"Same. Anyway, where do we start looking for a Lindworm?" Hilda asked as Logan stepped up.
"Well, if you kids need some help in locating the Lindworm, I think that I can be of service," Logan says as everyone turned to him hopefully/curiously.
"I kind of hoped that when you offered to help us, cus, you will transform into a Lindworm and burn the contract for us or will be flying us all over Trollberg in the form of a Dragon to find another Lindworm. Not take us to your workplace and look through hundreds of books." Hilda says deadpannedly as we fast forward in time and see the gang inside of the Trollberg Library, looking for a book relating to Lindworms as Hilda and Logan were currently looking through the stacks of books while Alfur, Astrid, and Stitch were looking through the records to find any information on the Lindworms as Frida and Marcus were sitting on the table, doing her own research on Lindworms as well.
"Yeah, that won't work, Hilda. The fire must come out of a real Lindworm, not one from a shape-shifter. Trust me, I looked into it." Marcus says with an annoyed glare.
"And, besides, Hilda, looking at the library for information on the location of the Lindworms is much faster than flying around, I can tell you that. You and the others do only have a day to find the Lindworm, rescue David, and get the Blue Nettle, after all." Logan says after the kids had informed them of what happened with the Bragga Family.
"Oh, we found it!" Stitch yelled as he, Alfur, and Astrid were able to find the envelope, which tells them where to find the book relating to the Lindworms.
"Yeah, the book, 'Lindworms: Habitats and Hideouts-Volume 27', is located at Section Three. I love a good subject-based classification system." Alfur says with a giggle as Astrid rolled her eyes at this with a scoff.
"Oh, I see it!" An exited Hilda says while climbing up the Library Ladder as she reaches out to grab the Lindworms: Habitats and Hideouts-Volume 27 book. "Got it!" Hilda says with a smile before yelping as she lost her balance and fell down as everyone gasped in shock before calming down as Logan held out his hands and extended them with his shape-shifting as he was able to catch Hilda in time.
"Whoa, be careful there, cuz. Almost broke your neck." Logan says playfully as Hilda looks up at him and gave him a thankful nod.
"He, he, noted. Thanks for the save, Logan." Hilda says as Logan nodded before shape-shifting his arms back to normal as he places Hilda back down on the ground, and the blue-haired girl walks over to place the book on the table as Frida and Marcus opened it as they began reading from it.
"The Lindworms are notoriously antisocial creatures, and most fled during the construction of the city," Frida says.
"Yeah, but it says here that there was a sighting of at least one Lindworm in Trollberg," Marcus chimed in.
"Well, where is it?" Hilda asked.
"According to the key, the lair of the Lindworm should be located right...here!" Frida exclaimed while placing her finger on the spot of the map on a book from where the Lindworm's lair was located as Hilda and the others groaned at this in annoyance.
"Ugh, great. The Lindworm lives underwater? How are we going to...oh, do you think that Jumba and Pleakley's Ship can function as a submarine?" Hilda asked Stitch, who shakes his head as Alfur and Astrid jumped in and land on the table as they walked up to the group.
"Well, no problem, ladies and gentlemen, because the Lindworm's lair is not underwater. He or she's lair is located on this very small island." Alfur says while picking up a magnifying glass as he placed it on the map to show the others the incredibly tiny island on the map.
"Oh, that makes things much easier. Well, come on, we have an Lindworm to find." A grinning Hilda says with the others nodding agreement as they all stood up from their table and put away the books that they were using as Logan turned to Hilda.
"Hey, do you all mind if I tag along on the adventure? Lindworms can be rather aggressive and unpredictable, so it's better that you all have some backup."
"Sure, I don't mind if you come," Hilda says with a smile as Logan smiled back and nodded as they all began making their way out of the Trollberg Library. An hour later, at sunrise, we see the gang arriving at Trollberg Harbor as they were standing near the shores of the Trollberg Ocean and saw that the Lindworm Island was placed hundreds upon hundreds of miles away from them.
"Well, dang it." Frida cursed while placing her hands on her hips as Hilda turned to her friend reassuringly.
"Don't worry, Frida, I'm sure that we could all swim to the island." Hilda says as Frida slowly turned to her with a disbelieving, 'Are you freaking serious' look.
"Uh, I don't know about you, Hilda, but no human being can swim that far without sinking down in exhaustion after a couple of hours," The black-haired eleven-year-old girl says as Hilda gave Frida a smug grin while puffing out her chest as she placed her hands on her hips.
"Well, I'm sure that I can swim to that island. I'm a pretty good swimmer, after all. My Mum and Dad had taught me how to swim for long periods of time on a river that is close to my old house. I can even hold my breath for an hour." Hilda stated proudly.
"I'm with Hilda on this one. Let's go swimming to the island." Marcus says while transforming into a male Aquatic Atletic Swimmer as he started stretching his limbs.
"Yeah, let's go swimming to the island! I'm up for the challenge!" Astrid says with a grin while riding on Stitch's head as Alfur was on Hilda's shoulder.
"Uh, maybe we should find a different solution to our problem?" Alfur nervously suggested as Stitch nodded in agreement.
"Ih, Stitch don't want to swim," Stitch says while shaking his head negatively as a confused Hilda turned to him.
"Wait, what? Why? I thought you weren't scared of water anymore after dealing with the Marra." Hilda says with a raised eyebrow as Stitch nods.
"Ih. Stitch no longer scared of water, but it doesn't mean that Stitch likes it."
"Ah, make sense."
"If I may interrupt..." Logan's voice rang out as everyone turned around, and their jaws dropped as they saw Logan standing before them while in the form of a 20-foot-tall blue-eyed majestic white dragon as Logan smirks down at them. "...I think that I'm able to fly us to the Dragon," Logan says with a wink as Hilda and Stitch gasped sharply with stars in their eyes as they were quick to run over and mount him with Frida reluctantly following after them as Marcus pouted and crossed his arms.
"Show off," Marcus says while glaring at his father playfully as he morphed back into his normal form but eventually ran over to hop on his adoptive father's back with the help of the others.
"Alright, everyone, hold on tight, because here we goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" Logan shouted while flapping his wings as he instantly took off into the others with the others holding onto his scaly white skin tightly as they soared through the skies.
"Man, I'm really starting to regret not coming along with the others. I much prefer being in danger than being bored." David says dryly while sighing heavily as he had spent the next fours hours sitting around in a log with the Bragga Elves and, quite frankly, was getting bored as hell as Bartell sees this and decided to try and strike up a conversation with the Human Boy to pass the time.
"So, tell me, what do you...w-what do you usually do when you're a hostage, eh?"
"Actually, this is the first time that I got held hostage by a magical creature," David says as Bartell's eyes widened at this in shock.
"Really?"
"Yeah, I'm just as surprised as you. So, you had never held a Human hostage, huh?"
"Yep, this is a first time for us too, but before we continue talking, you DO know that you have a bug in your hair, right?" Bartell asked as David sighs in irritation and nodded.
"Yeah, I do."
"Well, if you want, I have a way to get rid of the bugs in your hair." Bartell offered as David turns to look down at him with an intrigued look on his face.
"Go on."
~{Down by the Singing Sea by Walter Martin}~
Fish are jumping
I guess they're hunting
Back with the others, we see Logan flying above the Trollberg Ocean in his dragon form as an excited Hilda held out her arms and enjoyed the warm ocean breeze that was hitting her face as Stitch was cutely copying her and held out his hands to enjoy the warm breeze, as well, as a scared Frida was clinging onto the back of Logan's body, and Marcus sees this and decided to try and calm her down by pointing below as a nervous Frida looks and down and gasped in awe as she saw several Salt-Lions leaping up from the ocean before dropping back down into the water.
'Cause every now and then
They catch a fly or something
Turning his head, Alfur gasped as he spotted a smiling Astrid enjoying the ride with her eyes closed as the sun radiates behind her, highlighting her beauty as the male Elf blushed and looks away shyly, not knowing that Astrid spotted him checking her out as, for the life of her, the Warrior Elf didn't know why a small blush appeared on her cheeks but proceeds to not think about it as she continued enjoying the flight.
Down by the singing sea
While you're sleeping, I float between the waves
Letting a loud roar and after letting the group enjoy the beautiful scenery for a couple of minutes, Logan had finally flown the group towards the Lindworm Island as he flew them down towards the shore of the small island and let everyone get off him before transforming back into his normal form with a black/purple poof.
~{Song Over}~
"Man, that was fun. Thanks for the ride, Logan." Hilda says while giving her cousin a thumbs up as Logan nodded to her with a grin.
"No problem, kid," Logan says as Stitch suddenly perked up and started sniffing a weird odor near them as he was quick to scamper off to investigate it.
"Alright, according to the book, signs of a Lindworm's Lair include disturbed foliage, overturned Earth, and high plumes of smoke," Frida informed the group, who nodded as they began looking around for any signs of the Lindworm's Lair, but stopped as Stitch whistled to get their attention.
"Stitch found it!" Stitch yelled as everyone looked up and saw him standing on top of a medium-tall hill as there were high plumes of smoke emitting from behind the hill.
"Oh, good find, Stitch," Hilda says with a smile as she and the others climbed up the hill that Stitch was standing on and appeared beside him as the group gasped in shock at the sight of the beautiful tranquil meadow below them as it was covered with flowers and wildlife. "Whoa, it's a garden," Hilda says, stating the obvious, as the group then travels down the hill and reaches down to the garden as Hilda and the others started inspecting the gorgeous garden before them.
"Whoa! Look at the flora!" An amazed Frida says while spreading out her arms as Marcus nodded in agreement with his jaw dropped.
"Yeah, this place puts any garden in Trollberg to shame."
"Hey, look at this, Stitch. I think this might be a petaled manivore." An excited Hilda says to Stitch while dragging him over to a purple flower as she sniffs it, and Stitch did as well, but then blinked as he smelled smoke near them and turned his head as Stitch gasped at what he sees.
"Choobota! (Look!)," Stitch yelled while pointing ahead as everyone looked to where he was pointing and saw a long Dragon-like female creature sleeping on the ground near them with dual poofs of smoke emitting from out of her nose. The creature is a seven-feet-long, 120-year-old female Lindworm as she resembles a Dragon with blue eyes, two large white antlers, a long snout, a long snake-like body with two front legs but no hind legs, light green skin with white spots, and has dark green dorsal fins that travel across her whole body up to her tail. Her name is unknown, so I will call her Linda the Lindworm.
"Wait, that's a Lindworm?" A confused Frida asked as Stitch and Marcus looked equally surprised.
"Yes. What were you expecting?" Hilda asked with a raised eyebrow and crossed arms as Marcus gave his cousin a deadpan look.
"Oh, I don't know, maybe, something like a worm, instead of a freaking Dragon!"
"What did you guys think that we were talking about when we said the Lindworm would burn the contract with its blue flames?" A bewildered Logan asked as Frida, Marcus, and Stitch opened their mouths...before closing them as they signed heavily.
"Alright, enough fooling around, guys. We need to have the Lindworm burn the contract, so who is brave enough to wake her up?" Astrid asked as everyone remained silent and looked away as she sighs in annoyance. "Fine, I will do it."
"No, wait Astrid, look," Logan says while pointing down as the group saw Linda breathing blue fire in and out of her nostrils.
"Oh, this is great, we don't even have to wake her up. We can just hold the contract in front of her nose and, poof, problem solved."
"Do you really think that this is a good idea, Hilda? It feels a tad bit dangerous." A nervous Alfur says as Astrid rolled her eyes and scoffed.
"Oh, stop being such a baby, and grow a pair," Astrid says as Alfur gave her an annoyed look.
"Astrid, be nice to Alfur. It's not nice to say that to people. And, don't worry, Alfur, to make it less dangerous, we would have the person with the fireproof skin burn the contract with the Lindworm's nostrils." Hilda says disapprovingly to Astrid before looking over at Stitch, who nodded as he and Astrid, who was still riding on his head, bravely walked forwards. "Be careful, Stitch. Don't wake her up."
"Ih (Got it)," Stitch says quietly while carefully walking over to the Lindworm with Astrid dropping down into his outstretched hand as she had the contract in her tiny hands...wait, Elves don't have hands...HOW CAN ELVES LOGICALLY HOLD THINGS?!
"Welp, they're dead meat." Marcus says matter-of-factly while waving at the retreating Stitch and Astrid away with a fake smile as an irritated Hilda and Frida elbows him.
"Alright, careful, laddie. Don't want to wake the beast." Astrid whispers to Stitch, who nodded as they made their way to the sleeping Lindworm, and Stitch hovered his outstretched hand over Linda's nostrils with the fire licking his hand as, thankfully, it didn't hurt him at all, but the smoke emitting from the Lindworm's nostrils made Stitch's nose twitched and, before Astrid could burn the contract, Experiment 626 lets out a loud sneeze that instantly woke up the resting Lindworm.
"Oh, crapbaskets." Astrid curses and everyone else cursed lightly as the Lindworm glared up at Stitch and Astrid and whacks them away with her snout as they crashed landed near the others, who were quick to help Stitch up to his feet as everyone could only gasp in shock at the sight of the Lindworm slowly rising up to her full height and glares down at them with small bits of blue fire emitting from her mouth as she speaks.
"Who dares disturb my slumber?!" An enraged Linda asked while narrowing her eyes at Hilda and the others as she growled. "Wait a minute, none of you are from this island."
"Yeah, no shit, Sherlock. Is it a problem?" Logan asked with a glare while getting ready for the upcoming fight that was going to happen as he signaled Marcus to get ready, and even Stitch realized that a fight was brewing to happen as he was quick to hand Astrid over to Hilda and the blue furry experiment slowly made his way behind the group as Stitch began taking off his Sparrow Scout Uniform.
"Only time will tell. Now, why are you all sneaking up on me in my sleep?" Linda asked with blue fire shotting out of her nostrils as a wary Hilda and Frida took a couple of steps back as they turned to look at Stitch undressing in the background before glancing each other as they shared a secret conversation with each other that ended with Hilda and Frida sharing a determined nod as they then turned their attention back to the Lindworm.
"O-Okay, look, we didn't come here for a fight or to disturb your sleep. We just wanted-,"
"Oh, of course, now I can see why you all came here," Linda says, interrupting Hilda as she spotted Alfur and Astrid spotted on one of Hilda's shoulders together. "A couple of Elves that wants to get out of another freaking contract," Linda asked with a glare as a scared Alfur took a couple of steps back, but then his eyes widened in shock as he saw Astrid standing in front of him protectively with her spear and shield drew out as Astrid narrowed her eyes at the Lindworm.
"Look, beast, all we want is a single puff of your blue fire, that's all. We will leave afterward. You have my word." Astrid says as Linda scoffed at her words and rolled her eyes.
"Oh, yes, you always say that, but then more and more and more stupid Elves show up to keep asking me to burn their contracts for decades and, quite frankly, I am sick of it! If all of you won't leave my domain, then I have to make you myself!" Linda screamed while breathing down blue fire at the group as it circled around them and created a ring of blue fire as Hilda and the gang gasped at this before narrowing their eyes up at the Lindworm as she glared down at them furiously. "Now, burn!" Linda screamed as the Crane Men grew serious and Logan raised his arms as two puffs of black/purple appeared on his arms and three pairs of razor-sharp claws appeared on his hands as Marcus crouches down into a battle stance with a stern expression on his face as they were about to attack the Lindworm when suddenly Hilda spoke up.
"Well, if you don't want to talk and want to have a fight, then it's a fight that you will have! Stitch! Battle Mode!" Hilda shouted as Stitch roared and leaped up into the air while wearing nothing but his red collar as he reared back his head and started spitting down huge globs of spit down at the ring of blue fire, extinguishing it swiftly as Stitch summoned his alien appendages and landed on the ground with his extra pair of hands holding two Plasma Guns as he tossed them over to Hilda and Frida, who grabbed them as Stitch then leaped up and delivered a brutal kick up Linda's chin, causing her to grunt in pain as she was sent flying up into the air before crashing down on the ground with a groan as Logan gasped at this in shock.
"You can fight?!" An exhilarated Logan asked as Stitch landed on the ground with a crouch and turned to smirk at him with a nod.
"Ih! Stitch's the strongest there is!" Stitch screamed while flexing his muscles as Logan blinked before grinning as he nodded just as the Lindworm recovered from Stitch's strong blow as she slowly lifts herself up from the ground and turns over to growl at the group angrily as Linda then took off into the air, showing her ability to fly as the enraged Lindworm dives down to them.
Charging up their weapons, Hilda and Frida began firing multiple plasma bolts at the Lindworm, who was surprised by their 'magical' weapons but was able to evade the blasts in time as she zooms over to the group, and Astrid grinned savagely at this as the Warrior Elf looks down at Stitch and gave him a look as Experiment 626 understood the secret message and reaches up to grab her as he then reared back his arm and tossed a screaming Astrid over to Linda. Unable to see her, a surprised Linda yelped in pain as Astrid landed on her face and used her spear to stab her face, causing her to yelp in pain and shake her head around as the Lindworm lost control of her flight and ended up flying past the group with Logan using his claws to scratch her sides as Linda crash-landed onto the ground.
Transforming into a grey/yellow-skinned Scorpius Rex with a cloud of black/purple smoke, a roaring Logan charges full speed at the downed Lindworm as he used his large jaws to ensnare her by her neck and proceeds to lift up the magical dragon-like creature into the air before slamming her against a rocky wall as Linda roared in pain and glared down at Logan as she reared back her head and started breathing blue flames down at his head. Mentally screaming in pain, Logan had thankfully received help from his son and Stitch as they ran up the transformed Mutant/Warlock's body with the blue furry alien running on all fours and the Changeling transforming into a tall black male Athlete as they reached the top of Logan's head, and Marcus was quick to leap up and transform into Hilda as he landed on Stitch's back and rode him like a surfboard as Experiment 626 was able to shield him from the blue flames with his fireproof body.
Approaching the Lindworm, Marcus then jumped up into the air and transformed into a 30-year-old male brown-haired Archer as he pulled back on his bow strong and fired an arrow at Linda's head, piercing her head and drawing blood as the Lindworm roared in pain before grunting as Stitch leaped up to punch her jaw, stunning her as the big-eared alien forcibly closed up her mouth and stopped breathing blue flames as Stitch landed on the side of a rocky wall alongside Marcus. Using this chance, Logan once again transform into a fiery being made out of purple flames and rock with a puff of black/purple smoke as he lowered his hands and fired dual streams of purple fire that propelled him into the air as Logan narrowly hits Linda's head, but the Lindworm was able to evade his attack as she looks up to glare at her flying foe.
"Come down here, so that I can burn you, Shape-Shifter!"
"Fight me, and you're the one who's gonna get burned!" Logan shouted as Linda narrowed her eyes and was about to fly up to attack him, but was distracted by Hilda and Frida, who had blasted her snake-like body with multiple plasma blasts as Linda roared in pain before turning to glare down at the eleven-year-old girls.
"Chobata! (Attack!)," Stitch shouted while leaping off from the wall as he drops down into the air with Logan flying down next to him as he transformed into a bipedal, dark blue frog-like humanoid creature, and both powerful combatants held out their legs as they landed feet-first onto the Lindworm's head and forces it to crash down onto the ground as Stitch and Logan jumps off it and landed in front of Linda, who groaned in pain as she slowly floated herself up from the floor and glared down at the duo as she was about to attack them when suddenly Marcus drops down into the air as he shape-shifts into a 45-year-old muscular hairy man and landed on the Lindworm's tail.
Roaring in anger, Linda started thrashing around to get rid of the annoying pest on her back, but Marcus was able to hold onto the Lindworm by wrapping his muscular arms around her tail as an idea popped into Stitch's head, and he grinned as the powerful experiment grunted and leaped up as 626 grabs onto Marcus's thick legs and helped him pull down the yelping Lindworm towards Logan, who realized what Stitch was planning and smirked slyly. Transforming into a 6-feet-tall purple-skinned big winged Skrill Dragon with a puff of black/purple smoke, Logan rears back his tail as a grunting Stitch and Marcus whipped the Lindworm towards the Mutant/Warlock adult as Logan proceeds to whip his tail at Linda's head with purple lightning emitting from it as the Lindworm roared in pain and was sent flying into the air with Stitch and Marcus letting go of as the magical dragon-like creature flew through the air before crash landing back on her garden as Linda groans.
Slowly sitting up from the floor, an injured Linda spotted Hilda and Frida near her as the girls raised their weapons at her defensively, and the Lindworm growls swiftly as she was about to attack them, only for the boys to come in to help out the girls as Stitch jumped up and landed on Linda's head while Marcus ran over to grab onto her tail as Logan roared and transformed into his own Lindworm transformation as he was seven-feet-long with blue eyes, two large white antlers, a long snout, a long snake-like body with two front legs but no hind legs, light red skin with gray spots, and has dark red dorsal fins that travel across his whole body up to his tail. Breathing out a small puff of blue fire, Logan wrapped himself around Linda's body as the real Lindworm grunted in annoyance and tries to break out of the boys' hold, but failed as she roared in rage and was about to try and escape again, only to feel her body grow weak as Linda groaned and crashes down onto the floor.
"What happened?" A confused Alfur asked as he, the girls, and the boys looked puzzled by what just happened.
"Coo-ee!" A smirking Astrid says while appearing from out of Linda's neck as she smirked proudly. "Thanks for distracting the beast, gang. It took me a while to find the nerve in this Lindworm's body that will paralyze her momentarily, but I was able to eventually find it." Astrid says with a smirk as the others smiled and nodded approvingly as the girls put away their weapons, and boys let go of the Lindworm's body as the Crane Men morphed back into their normal forms.
"Nice work, Astrid." Hilda complimented while walking up the Lindworm as Astrid nodded while leaping up to stand on the blue-haired girl's shoulder as Hilda then glances down at a glaring Linda. "Now, can you please corporate and burn this contract for us?"
"Never! I don't care how much you all beat me up! I am sick and tired of giving away my drake-given talents for free! I deserve to get something, you know?!" Linda asked in sheer frustrated anger as everyone blinked in surprise at what she said.
"Wait a minute. All that you wanted was to get a reward for burning our contract? Well, why didn't you say so? We will be glad to pay for your services." Alfur says as Linda stared up at the Elf in shock.
"Seriously?" A stunned Linda asked as Alfur nodded.
"Yeah, if you don't want us Elves to mooch off you, you could've said something about it. We Elves just thought that you didn't want to get rewards for your work, but if you do, we will be very eager to draw up an arrangement that will be acceptable to both parties. So, what do you want?" A smiling Alfur asked as Linda blinked in surprise that an Elf was willing to give her stuff to use her Draken-given abilities and hums thoughtfully as she begins to think.
"Hmm, I don't know. I mean, what could you all possibly have that would be of interest to me?"
"Oh...um, guys?" Alfur says, asking his friends for help as he didn't have anything worthy as a reward on his person.
"Hmmm." Hilda hums under her breath as she looked around and couldn't help but to notice that the Lindworm seems to have a love for plant life and an idea popped into her head as Hilda took off her backpack and made her way over to Linda. "Well, uh, Misses Lindworm, I have gathered that you have a bit of a, excuse the joke, green thumb, am I right?" Hilda asked as Linda nodded.
"Yes, it's true. I'm not interested in the googaws the younger, flashier Lindworm crowd goes in for. I prefer the real treasures of the Earth."
"Oh, so do we. In fact, we spent the entire morning collecting some unique, very exciting samples. Isn't that right, guys?" Hilda asked while turning to her friends as Stitch and Marcus nodded slowly as Frida shrugged.
"Exciting is a strong word." Frida says before grunting as Stitch and Marcus elbowed her while giving her 'Just play along for bloody sake' looks. "But yeah, they're cool, I guess."
"Really? Show me then." Linda says as Hilda nodded and opened her backpack as she pulled out all of the flowers that she and her friends had collected earlier this morning and held them out to the curious Lindworm with a bright smile on the blue-haired girl's face. "Hmmm, Crabgrass, Dandelions, Purple Thistles, Sunflowers, and Tulips? Are you serious...I've been trying to get my hands on some good urban flora for years now!" An excited Linda exclaims as Hilda smiled at this while giving the group a thumbs-up as they did the same. "Unfortunately, I haven't been able to muster up the energy to fly back into the city. My social anxiety is just awful. Would you guys be kind enough to part with these exquisite specimens? I'd be more than willing to burn your contract in return."
"Deal, and don't worry, I will tell the other Elves about our arrangement so that you will be able to be paid for your services, but it does require you to sign it to make it legal," Alfur says.
"Eh, sure, whatever, but can one of you give me back the feeling in my body?" Linda asked as she was still paralyzed.
"Got it. Astrid?"
"Yeah, yeah, I know," Astrid says while waving off her friend Logan as she leaps down to the Lindworm's neck and used her spear to pierce a nerve in Linda's body that will not make her paralyze anymore as Astrid leaps onto Logan's outstretched hand just as Linda stood up from the floor and rubbed her slightly bleeding neck as Hilda and the others helped Alfur create a large contract that states that no Elf will be able to receive the blue flames from a Lindworm without paying for her services and placed it on a large rock nearby.
"Alright, sign your name here three times," Alfur says while pulling out a big ink bottle from out of nowhere as Linda nodded and reaches out to dip her claw into the bottle, covering it with ink as the Lindworm then sign her name into the contract three times. "Oh, your name is Linda, huh? Great name."
"Thank you," Linda says while finishing signing the contract as Hilda then nudges at Stitch to move forwards, and he did as 626 walks towards the Lindworm and spawns one of his extra hands as Stitch then held out the contract to Linda, who proceeds to burn it with a small puff of blue fire as the glowing blue ashy remains dropped down into Stitch's outstretched extra hand and he proceeds to retract his arm and hide the glowing blue ashes inside of his body for safekeeping.
"Right, we're all set. See? All of the best legends involve paperwork." A smirking Alfur says to the group as Hilda and Frida giggled, Marcus and Stitch rolled their eyes, and Logan lets out a small laugh as Astrid stared at Alfur with an emotionless look on her face before grinning as she punched his shoulder playfully.
"Heh, I guess that's true. Good job, Boy Scout." Astrid praises.
"T-Thanks, Astrid," Alfur says with a shy blush while rubbing his sore arm with a groan as the others shared a laugh.
"David! We're back!" Hilda yelled as we fast forward in time, during nighttime, and we see the gang running towards the Bragga Elf Family Village to end their quest once and for all and rescue David and gain the Blue Nettle. "I'm so sorry that it took so long, but..." Hilda says before trailing off as she and the others were rather surprised to see that Bartell had braided up a still tied up David's hair.
"Is David okay?" Stitch asked worriedly as David nodded with a smile.
"Positively. Bartell did it. It's to keep the bugs out." David stated with a beam as Bartell stood on his shoulder.
"You know, David is quite the young man. He has set the bar very high for future hostages." Bartell says with a warm smile on his face before his face grew grim and serious as he drops down from David's shoulder and lands in front of the captured boy with his Elf Warrior Bunny Riders appearing beside their leader as they all pointed their weapons at the group. "Now, let me guess, you have all failed to break the contract and have returned for combat!"
"As much as I would like to beat you up, Grandfather. That's not why we came here." Astrid says while riding on Marcus's shoulder as Alfur stood on Frida's shoulder.
"Yes, yes, it's very much the opposite," Alfur says as he and Astrid drop down onto the floor and walked over to Bartel. "Stitch? If you please, my good alien." Alfur says as Stitch nodded and rolled up his yellow jersey as one of his extra arms popped out, and 626 opened up his hand to show off the glowing blue ashes of the burnt contract.
"By the Elven's Beard! That glow! It's Lindworm's flame!"
"Yeah, it is, Grandfather, which means that the contract is broken," Astrid says with a small smile on her face as Alfur nodded eagerly.
"Yes, your exile is over! You and the rest of your Bragga Family can finally leave this place and move into No Elf's Land!" Alfur shouted, surprising Astrid as she didn't know that he was willing to give No Elf's Land to the Bragga Family and simply thought that he was giving them a chance to return back to the Nothern Counties as the female warrior Elf started seeing Alfur in a whole new light.
"Oh..." Bartell says while looking down somewhat somberly as the rest of his people didn't look quite thrilled by the news as well.
"Oh? W-What do you mean, 'Oh'?" A bewildered Alfur asked as even Astrid looks confused.
"What's wrong, Grandfather? Aren't you happy that we're no longer exiled? Is this not something that we wished to happen for many generations?" Astrid asked while walking up to place her hand on Bartell's shoulder as he sighs heavily and nodded.
"Well, uh, yes, you're right, Granddaughter, but...it's just that we thought that our exile will never be over and when it did happen...I don't know. We just never thought that we would actually leave this place." Bartell says while grabbing Astrid's hand as he then started leading her over to the village. "I mean, this is the place that I was born and raised in. The place where I helped you grow up when your parents had fallen ill and perished. I watched you grow up from a sweet little girl into a fierce, independent warrior that the mere thought of leaving this place and the memory that it has it...honestly breaks my heart. I don't think any of us can leave this place. This wall is our home."
"Oh, Grandpa," Astrid says, getting a bit emotional as she teared up and hugs him as Bartell was surprised by this but hugged her back with a smile on his face.
"But what about No Elf's Land?" Hilda and Stitch asked in unison as Bartell lets go of his Granddaughter and begins to think as he then turned over to Alfur.
"Hey, Alfur of the Nothern Counties, do you still want it?"
"Really?! You'd cede your ownership rights just like that?! No contract, no lease, no anything?!" A surprised Alfur says as Astrid giggles a bit amusedly and grinned as she went over to place her arm around Alfur's shoulder.
"Well, we have our own way to seal deals, and trust me, it's way more fun than doing paperwork."
"O-Oh, what is it?" A nervous Alfur asked as Astrid smirks at him slyly.
"Let's party! Yeah!" A slightly hammered, drunk Astrid yelled as we fast forward in time and see that the Bragga Family were celebrating the end of their exile and being able to stay in their new home while Alfur's family take No Elf's Land by throwing a big medieval party with several Bragga Elves playing joyful music and everyone enjoying some good food and drinks as Alfur, Astrid, and Bartel could be seen eating together on a small wooden table while Hilda, Frida, and a now freed David sat on a log as Stitch, Logan, and Marcus laid across the floor near them.
"You're right, Astrid. This is way more fun than paperwork." Hilda says as Stitch nodded in agreement with a small, 'Ih', as he was eating about a hundred tiny Elf plates filled with food.
"It is quite the spectacle," Alfur says with a smile before grunting as a blushing, dazed Astrid slaps his back goodheartedly.
"Yeah! We Bragga Elves know how to throw a good party! And have the best alcohol around!" Astrid says while chugging down beer from her drink as she finished it with a burp.
"Are you seriously now drunk? The party just barely started." An annoyed Logan says as Astrid turned to smirk at him.
"Hey, if someone can't get drunk early at a party, then it is not a good party at all! Come on, Alfur, drink with me!"
"O-Oh, sorry, but I'm not really into drinking-Mmmrph!" Alfur says before gagging as Astrid reaches out to grab his head and forcibly opened his mouth as she poured the alcoholic contents down his throat and caused him to couch as Alfur slaps his chest. "Holo moly, that's some strong stuff...may I have some more?" Alfur asked sheepishly as Astrid grins approvingly and slaps his back again in a friendly manner.
"Ha, ha, Alfur, I think this could be the start of a great relationship between us," Astrid says as Alfur smiles brightly and nodded with a chuckle as both of them started drinking more beer.
"Hey, I better not catch any of you kids drinking any of these beers or else I will tell your parents." A stern Logan says to the kids, who rolled their eyes as they nodded.
"Yeah, we know, Cousin Logan," Hilda says with her and her friends showing Logan that there drinking fruity drinks as the Shape-Shifter nodded in approval.
"Hmm, we'll have to collect all new samples tomorrow, guys," Frida says while holding onto the Blue Nettle that Bartell had given her earlier.
"But wasn't that worth it today?" Hilda asked hopefully as Frida gave her a very blank look.
"A day in which we were attacked by Elves, flew through the air thanks to the help of your shape-shifting Cousin and had to fight a fire-breathing Lindworm...yeah, I guess it was," Frida says with a shrug as Hilda sighs in relief and smiled at her friend as they shared a brief side hug.
"Ah, so the uptight girl isn't so wind up as I thought, huh?" A grinning Marcus said as Frida blushes slightly and scoffed as she rolled her eyes.
"Oh, shut up," Frida says while rolling her eyes amusedly as she playfully kicked the Changeling's head lightly, and both of them shared a small laugh as David sees this and couldn't help but to frown jealously as the brown-haired boy looked away sadly and Hilda and Stitch see this as they were quick to give comforting pats to David's shoulder/leg as he gave them a thankful look and nodded.
"Oh, oh, Agnes is up!" Bartell suddenly yelled, getting everyone's attention as everyone turned around and saw Agnes riding on top of her scarred Bunny with her opponent standing a few feet away from her on his own Bunny Ride.
"Go, Agnes! Go!" Astrid yelled, cheering for her mentor as Agnes smirks at her before growing serious as she pulled out her lance, which was a long stick, and the other Elf did the same as both of them let out loud battle cries and charged at each other as Agnes was able to whack the nervous Elf off his ride and won the challenge as a grinning Agnes spits on the floor in victory.
"Whoo-hoo! Yeah! Go Agnes, go! Go, Agnes, go!" Everyone cheered as Bartell then turned to Alfur and smiled at him as he lifts up his beer mug.
"Alfur, a toast," Bartell says with Hilda and the others giving him encouraging looks as lightly drunk Alfur grins and grabs his beer mug as he raised it into the air.
"TO CONTRACTS!"

"...YEAH! TO CONTRACTS!" Astrid cheered while smashing her beer mug into the floor as everyone did the same and cheered as they continued having a good time. After partying for two hours, the gang decided to retreat back to their homes as the kids needed to go back to their homes due to their curfews as Logan had brought Frida, David, Marcus back to their homes before deciding to walk Hilda and Stitch back to their apartment as the Elves were blacked out drunk with Astrid and Alfur sleeping in Hilda's hair as they snuggled up to each other.
"So, this was quite a day, huh?" Logan asked his cousin with a smile while walking alongside her as Stitch walked beside his friend.
"Yeah, today we met the Lost Clan of the Elves and fought a dragon. I say that we had quite the productive adventure today." Hilda says with a bright smile before her eyes dropped down slightly as she yawned.
"Hey, you tired?" Logan asked as Hilda nodded.
"Yeah, a little bit," Hilda says before yelping in surprise as Logan reaches down to grab her and placed the blue-haired girl on his shoulders. "L-Logan, what are you doing?"
"What? You said that you were tired, so I'm giving you a ride." Logan says with a casual smile on his face.
"I'm not five, Logan. I can walk on my own." Hilda says with a cute pout.
"I know, but I wasn't able to carry you around like this when you were young, so I figured why not do it now when you're still little?" Logan says with a shrug as Hilda nods before gaining a guilty look on her face as she laid her chin on Logan's head.
"Hey, I'm sorry that I wasn't able to know who you and Marcus are growing up. I guess that I was stuck in my own little world."
"Oh, it's alright, Hilda. If anything, I'm sorry for not visiting you or your mother when you were living out in the woods, I guess that I was too busy to come over there, but for now, let's forget about all of that and get to know each other better from here on out."
"That sounds good," Hilda says with a nod before yawning as she closed her eyes and begins sleeping on Logan's head as the Mutant/Warlock smiled at this with Stitch doing the same as, after walking through the streets of Trollberg for the next half hour, the trio had finally arrived at Hilda and Stitch's apartment as they made their way up to the tenth floor and walked over to the duo's apartment door as Hilda yawns and finally woke up from her nap as she looks around groggily. "Where are we?"
"Back at home. This is your stop, little lady." Logan said playfully as he reaches up to grab Hilda by her waist and then places her down on the ground gently while also carefully pulling out Astrid from Hilda's hair as Logan puts her in one of his pockets.
"Thanks for taking us home, Logan." Hilda says with a thankful look on her face as Stitch nodded with an 'Ih'.
"You're welcome, kid," Logan says while rubbing her hair goodnaturedly just as the door opened as Joanna stepped out.
"Oh, hey, I figured that I've heard a couple of familiar voices. How did the whole Elves thing turn out?" Joanna asked while leaning against the door as she crossed her arms.
"Pretty well. We were able to come to an agreement with the Bragga Elves." Stitch explains as Joanna nodded and was about to say something else when suddenly Roland, Amun, Jumba, and Pleakley arrived as they made their way to the group.
"Oh, hey, guys, how did your day go?"
"We had a great day, Joanna, but we're feeling a bit tired, so we will tell you about it tomorrow," Pleakley says while walking past her as Jumba did the same.
"Indeed. Jumba feels a bit tired. Jumba will see you all tomorrow." Jumba says with a yawn as he followed after Pleakley, and they went to their respective rooms.
"We had a good time today, Joanna, and don't worry, nothing happened. It was just a peaceful, normal day," Roland says to Joanna reassuringly.
"Oh, good," Joanna says before seeing Logan giving her a knowing look and winking at her encouragingly as he then turned around to leave, leaving behind a thoughtful Joanna as she looks down nervously and took a deep breath to steel her nerves as the light auburn-haired woman glances up at Roland. "Hey, uh, R-Roland?"
"Yeah?" Roland asked as Joanna blushes lightly and looks down as Hilda and Stitch glances in between the adults curiously.
"I, well, um, this might be sudden, but we have gotten to know each other pretty well this last few months, right?"
"Yeah, and it was the greatest time in my life to get to know a beautiful woman like you," Roland says with a wink as Hilda and Stitch made gagging sounds in the background, but Joanna was able to shush them as she had blushed heavily at his words and this finally helped her gain the confidence to ask Roland this life-changing question as Joanna turned to him.
"S-Same, which is why I want to ask...DO YOU WANT TO GO ON A DATE WITH ME?!" Joanna asked with everyone, including a shocked Hilda, gasping in surprise by what she said as Roland blinked a couple of times with a big blush on his face.
"I-I...I...I would love to!"
"Really?!" Joanna asked excitedly while clapping her hands together as Roland nodded with a little laugh.
"Yeah, I mean, I was waiting until you were comfortable enough to ready dating, but I would love for us to go on a date. Want to go out tomorrow into the city? I know some excellent places to go?"
"Oh, that would be perfect," Joanna says with a blushing smile while sharing a brief hug with Roland as the blonde-haired American made his way into his apartment with his Phoenix following after him as a humming Joanna basically skipped back into her apartment, not noticing that Hilda and Stitch were watching her go in stunned as they slowly turned to each other in comical disbelief.
"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL JUST HAPPENED?!" Hilda asked with wide eyes while gripping her hair in shock and horror as Stitch patted her back to calm the blue-haired girl down.
And done! I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter, and I can't wait to write the next one! Oh, and before I leave, yes, I know that Joanna's name is actually spelled 'Johanna', but I much prefer spelling it as 'Joanna' for simplicity's sake. Also, here are the voice actors for the OC's:
1) Logan Crane's Voice Actor: John Cable, specifically the voice that he uses for the character Arkham Knight's Scarecrow.
2) Marcus Crane's Voice Actor: Rhenzy Feliz, specifically the voice that he uses for the character Camilo Madigral from Encanto.
3) Astrid the Warrior Elf's Voice Actor: America Ferrera, specifically the voice that she uses for Astrid from HTTYD Series.
That's about it. Anyway, as always, I will catch you all later.
