NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!
~{Hilda and Stitch: Season 1-Episode 7: Tide Mice}~
"Alright, Mum, Stitch, and I are ready for our Sparrow Scout Warbler Concert Auditions," Hilda says to her Mother with a cheerful smile as two weeks have passed since Joanna and Roland first started their relationship and, so far, things seem to be great between them as Hilda, Stitch, Frida, and David's punishments were over by this point and could now hang out with each other freely without getting in trouble as it was a brand new day and the Blue-Haired Girl and her Alien Friend had dressed up in their Sparrow Scouts Uniforms as they made their way to Joanna, who was cleaning up the dirty dishes in the sink that were made from the family's breakfast as she turned to them with a warm smile of her own.
"That's good to hear, sweetheart. You and Stitch are going to rock the auditons. I just know it." Joanna says encouragingly as the Apartment was feeling a bit empty due to Alfur taking Twig out on a walk, Pleakley wandering off to do...whatever, and Jumba leaving early to do an interview to get a job at the Trollberg Science Labs to become a scientist there, mostly so that Jumba can conduct his more dangerous experiments in a larger, safer area as well as to get some money for the family because apparently, Joanna's Current Job at the Hardware Store doesn't give her enough money to support the whole family, so Jumba decided to try and chip in for everyone as Pleakley decided to become the 'Stay-At-Home Wife' to take care of Hilda and Stitch.
"Thanks, Mum. I have been practicing my singing with David, and he says that I'm a pretty good singer. Stitch is also excited to play piano for the concert. Right, Stitch?" Hilda asked Stitch, who nodded eagerly as he chuckled lightly.
"Ih. Stitch very excited."
"Well, that's good to hear. Anyway, since I have a bit of time before I get to work, why don't I take you both to auditions?" Joanna suggested as Hilda and Stitch beamed as they nodded. "Great, first, let me find my car keys. I think that I left it in my room." Joanna says while walking out of the kitchen as Hilda and Stitch followed after her as the trio made their way to Joanna's Room and opened the door as they were surprised to see Pleakley rummaging through her drawer and, much to Joanna's horror and Hilda and Stitch's confusion, the One-Eyed Alien pulled out the new black thong that Joanna bought yesterday.
"Oh, wow." A surprised Pleakley says before noticing the trio standing by the door as he flinched and hid the thong behind his back as the octopus-like alien laughed awkwardly. "Oh, uh, hey guys, I wasn't stealing Joanna's clothes to use. Why would you think that?" Pleakley asked anxiously as Joanna glared at him with a hot blush on her face, angry that Pleakley keeps stealing her clothes and exposed her thong to everyone as a bewildered Hilda turned to her Mother.
"Mum, why did you buy a thong?" Hilda asked innocently as Joanna blushes in embarrassment and coughed awkwardly as she then grabs Hilda and Stitch by their shoulders and started dragging them out of her room.
"Errr, n-no reason. Look, Hilda, I'm going to have a long talk with Pleakley about boundaries, so why not, for today only, I will allow you to travel across the city on Stitch." Joanna suggested with a weak smile as Hilda and Stitch beamed and turned to each other with big smirks on their faces as they cheered.
"Yeah! Giddup, Stitch! Whoo!" Hilda screamed as a grinning Stitch lifts up his yellow jersey and summoned his extra pair of arms as he then lowered himself down to the ground on all fours with a huffing Hilda mounted on him as Experiment 626 then runs off at high speeds with the Blue-Haired Girl squealing in excitement the whole way as the duo made their way down the hallway and briefly stopped near the end of the hallway from where it showed a large closed window as Hilda reaches up to open it and a grunting Stitch leaped off it as they disappear from sight.
"Stitch! Be careful with Hilda, and make sure that no one sees you two jumping between rooftops again! I had a hard time explaining to the Neighbors that it was simply you playing a dangerous game of pretend with your dog and friends!" Joanna screamed as Hilda and Stitch poked their heads back into the window with Experiment 626 using his wall-crawling abilities to stick himself onto the wall as the duo waved at her reassuringly before laughing joyfully as they crawled off. "And as for you, how many times did I tell you to stop rummaging through my stuff, Pleakley? If you want to have my clothes, we can just go out shopping to buy you a new wardrobe?" Joanna asked while glaring over at Pleakley sternly as she walked further into her room.
"Sorry, Joanna, I needed to borrow some clothes to go to the Grocery Store since all of mine are in the Laundry. Anyway, care to explain this? I presume that this is for Roland, right?" Pleakley asked with a grin on his face while lifting up Joanna's black thong as the Light Auburn-Haired Woman blinked at this and blushes heavily as she looked away and laughed awkwardly as Joanna laughed nervously.
"Errr, well, maybe, I mean, I'm not saying that I'm ready for anything...that serious yet, but when I was in the Mall, I saw the thong and thought, 'Hmmm, this seems like something that Roland would love', so I thought why not buy it? I know it may seem weird, but Roland and I have been hitting it off lately, so I kind of hoped that one day when we reach that step in our relationship, I would wear it and hope that it will impress him, but..." Joanna rambled lovingly before noticing that Pleakley gave her a sly smirk as she blushes in embarrassment and giggled sheepishly. "Was I rambling? I'm such a spazz."
"Girl, you have it bad for that man, and I 100% support this. Why don't I help you buy some sexy clothing for Roland? I have seen a lot of women's magazines and movies, so I think I know which clothes to use for him."
"Oh, really? You would do that for me? Pleakley, you are the best." Joanna says with a beaming smile while sharing a high five with Pleakley as they shared a giggle.
"...So, David, you think you're ready for your audition," Hilda says to David curiously as we fast forward in time and cue over to the Sparrow Scout Headquarters, from where auditions for the Warbler Concert were taking place as Hilda, Stitch, Frida, and David could be seen standing in backstage to wait for their turn to perform their auditions as Eliza had auditioned earlier on to play Lead Singer for the concert, only to be brutally rejected by Debby due to her and everybody getting sick of her playing Lead Singer every single year, which led the spoiled rich brat to through a huge hissy fit and storm out of the building in a huff as Eliza made sure to shoulder check a surprised Hilda on the way.
"Uh...well...I'm not sure, honestly. I'm kind of nervous to perform auditions after last year." An anxious David says as Hilda rolled her eyes and scoffed as she waved her hand around reassuringly.
"Oh, come on, how bad could it have gotten?"
"When David tried to audition for the Warblers last year, he tripped while going up to the stage and knocked over a potted plant and tore down the stage curtains, which fell on top of Mrs. Keane, blinding her as she tried to get the curtains off of her body, only to accidentally fell off the stage and nearly broke her arm and neck. Mrs. Keane had to wear a neck brace and an arm cast for the next few months." Frida stated bluntly with a guilty-looking David nodding awkwardly as Hilda and Stitch slowly blinked at this in disbelief.
"...You're bad luck," Stitch says to David blankly while taking a few steps away from him as David groaned at this and lowered his head in shame as he sighs heavily.
"I am. I never even made it to the stage, and my Parents had to write a LOT of apology letters to Mrs. Keane so that she wouldn't sue me for accidentally causing her a lot of injuries."
"That's why I play percussion. It's easier and safer that way...no offense, David." Frida says while lifting up her triangle and dinger as David waved it off casually and pouted as a sympathetic Hilda placed her hand on his shoulder.
"Don't listen to them, David. I'm sure that you will be able to at least get up on stage this time. Besides, you and I have been practicing our singing for weeks now, and I know for a fact that you're an excellent singer. You can't let that talent go to waste because you're scared of accidentally injuring or possibly killing someone again." Hilda says reassuringly...in her own way, but David felt oddly cheered up by what she said as he nodded.
"You're right. I better warm up my voice." David says while pulling out a whistle as he blows a tune with it. "Do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do~!" David sang as both Hilda and Frida squealed in delight by this while clapping their hands together as they teared up at David's elegant signing, and Stitch started applauding for him while pulling out a rose as he tossed it to him.
"That was the most beautiful thing that I have ever heard in my life," Hilda says while wiping away her tear as a sniffing Frida did the same.
"She's right. You may be a klutz and have bad luck, but you sound like an angel when you sing." Frida complimented with a warm smile as David blushed heavily at this and laughed goofily as he shyly looks away.
"Aww, shucks, thanks, Frida," David says as Hilda and Stitch look between their friends and shared knowing grins as they chuckled. "I really hope I make it in this year."
"I'm sure you'll make it, David. Now, go out there and break a leg...that's what theater kids say to each other, right?" Hilda asked Frida and Stitch curiously as they nodded. "Ah, good...I never understood that. Why would you want to wish your friends to break their leg? Won't that make them unable to perform on stage?"
"Stitch confused too. Should Stitch break David's legs to make him perform better?" Stitch asked while lifting up his yellow jersey to summon his extra pair of arms again as they slammed their fists against each other, and a panicking Hilda and Frida ran over to lower his shirt before anyone saw him as a nervous David took a couple of steps back from the alien experiment as their Scoutmaster Debby popped her head in between the curtains.
"David, you're next," Debby says as David turned to her and nodded as he handed his whistle over to Hilda for safekeeping. "Take your time. Mind your step." Debby says worriedly with a nervous laugh as a sheepish David nodded before walking forward as he brushed past the curtains and started making his way to the stage as Hilda, Frida, and Stitch poked their heads out of the curtains to give their friend some moral support as David walks over to hand his song list to Mrs. Keane, who was glaring at him sternly as he grins at her awkwardly before turning around as the Semi-Curly Brown-Haired Boy started making his way over to the stage's steps.
"Okay, David, you can do this. Just one step at a time, slowly." David says to himself anxiously while taking a deep breath as he closed his eyes and started making his way up the stage's stairs with everyone eyeing him warily as they watched with bated breath as David reached the stage...and breathes out in relief as nothing happened as David opened his eyes and smirks at his accomplishment cockily as he walked forward and narrowly avoided colliding against the potted plant that was weirdly placed on the stage.
"He didn't trip while going up on stage, and he cleared the potted plant," Frida whispered to her friends as they nodded.
"Ih. David has no bad luck after all."
"Indeed. Now all David has to do is to sing, and he's in," Hilda says just as David walked over to the center of the stage as he took a deep breath and nodded to Mrs. Keane, who narrowed her eyes at him as she began playing his song, and David was about to sing...but then everything changed when the Bee Nation attacked. Ha, ha, nah, just kidding, for real though, a random bee just happened to fly onto the stage as it flew over to buzz around David's face, annoying him as he swatted it away and took another deep breath as the Young Boy was about to sing, but then that stupid bee appeared again as it flew into his mouth.
"Argh! It's in my mouth! It's in my mouth!" David cried out in distress while absentmindedly walking back into the stage curtains as he tripped on his feet and grabbed them as he accidentally ripped them off, causing them to fall down on Mrs. Keane, who screamed panickedly as she stood up from the piano and started thrashing around as the Young Woman accidentally fell off the stage again and a sickening crack rang out as everyone winced.
"Oof...well, uh, at least the spot to play piano is now open for Stitch," Hilda says nervously to her friends, who gave her a disbelieving/disapproving look as she coughed awkwardly and looked away sheepishly. "Right, we should probably call the ambulance for Mrs. Keane," Hilda says as Frida nodded and pulled out her phone as she began calling 999 while Hilda and the others ran over to check on an injured, groaning Mrs. Keane.
"The way I see it, this was your best audition yet. You made it all the way onto the stage and only broke Mrs. Keane's arm this time." Frida says to David reassuringly, trying to cheer up her friend as we fast forward in time again, and we see Hilda and the others making their way back to their homes, after taking Mrs. Keane to the hospital and Hilda, Frida, and Stitch doing their auditions while Debby politely yet nervously told David to wait outside until they were done for...safety reasons.
"And yet I still managed to humiliate myself and injure Mrs. Keane again. My Parents and I are going to have to spend the whole night writing apology letters to her again." A somber David says while burping out the bee from earlier as an eager Stitch opened up his mouth and was able to latch onto the bug with his long frog-like tongue as he ate it in one gulp.
"Ewwwww," Hilda says while sticking out her tongue in disgust at Stitch's actions before composing herself as she turned over to her sad and humiliated friend. "Well, don't worry, David, there are three more days of auditions. You should go again."
"I agree with Hilda. Remember that old saying, 'If at first, you don't succeed-',"
"Try to pretend that it never happened." David interrupted with a grumpy frown as the girls and Stitch laughed a bit just as they arrived at Hilda and Stitch's apartment as the Blue-Haired Girl opened the door for Stitch to crawl in and then turned over to David.
"Promise that you'll audition again for the Warblers?"
"I promise...that I'll think about it," David says as Hilda shrugged, figuring that was the best that she will get for now as a giggling Frida grabbed David's hand, and the duo ran off as Hilda watched them go with a little smile on her face before entering the building as, after walking up the steps with Stitch crawling up the walls beside her, the duo arrived at their Apartment and opened the door as an excited, barking Twig greeted them.
"Hey, boy. I missed you, too. Did Alfur give you a good walk?" Hilda asked with a coo while reaching down to grab Twig as she snuggled up against him with a big smile on her face, which dropped when Hilda noticed that her Mom's Workstation was empty. "Oh, Mum is not here. Must be working at the Hardware Store...again." Hilda says, rather sadly, as she sighs heavily, and Stitch sees this as he stood up on his two legs and walked over to stand up on his tippy toes and pet Hilda on the head.
"There, there, Stitch, make it all better," Stitch says soothingly, cheering Hilda up a little as she giggled.
"Did you just 'There, there' to me? I'm not a dog, you know? No offense to either of you." Hilda says to Twig and Stitch, who waved it off as Stitch then walked over to a window and pointed at it urgently as he made several grunting voices. "Oh, yeah, that's a good idea, Stitch. Let's go and visit Mum at her new job after we change, of course." Hilda says as Stitch nods before the trio began making their way into Hilda and Stitch's Shared Room to change.
"Well, we're here." A beaming Hilda says as, after changing back into their regular clothes, the trio began making their way through Trollberg and arrived at Joanna's New Job, which turned out to be a Hardware Store as they entered the building. "Stitch? Can you use your X-Ray Vision to look for Mum real quick?" Hilda asked while bending down to Stitch's eye level as she whispered into his ear.
"Ih," Stitch says with a nod as his eyes glowed green and look around as he used his X-Ray Vision to scan the store around him and was able to locate Joanna as Experiment 626 grabbed Hilda's arm and started leading her towards her Mother with Twig following after them.
"There you go. Let me know if you need anything else." Joanna says to a customer while giving him a bright smile as she wore a sleeveless red top with a nametag planted above her right breast as said nametag has her name written on it.
"Thank you, I will." The Customer says before walking off as Joanna sighs softly and was about to go to work, only to be interrupted by her Daughter, her alien friend, and her Deerfox as they appeared beside her.
"Hey, Mum."
"Hilda, Stitch, good to see you two," Joanna says while bending down to her knees as she held out her hands, and a cheerful Hilda ran into her arms as the Mother and Daughter shared a quick hug before letting go of each other as Joanna then affectionately rubbed Stitch's head. "How were your tryouts for the Warblers?"
"I think we did okay, although we had a couple of mishaps like a certain someone who got so hungry that he decided to eat the keys off the piano," Hilda says while turning her head to glare down at Stitch sternly as he laughed gleefully.
"Stitch hungry. Stitch has no regrets." Stitch stated firmly with a nod as Hilda rolled her eyes goodnaturedly before turning back to her Mother.
"Another thing is that when David got onto the stage, he-,"
"Excuse me, but where is your Troll Repellent?" Another Customer asked Joanna as the group turned to her.
"Camping Gear, Aisle 2," Joanna says as the Customer nodded before walking off as an intrigued Stitch hummed.
"Hmm, Stitch needs to get one of those."
"Oh, those Troll Repellents don't really work, Stitch. They are basically just mosquito repellent with a different cover and name. We just say that they are Troll Repellents so that more people will buy them. It's sneaky and underhanded, but hey, I can't exactly speak about it without getting fired, so what can you do?" Joanna says with a shrug as Stitch pouted and grumbled under his breath as Joanna then turned back to her Daughter. "Anyway, what were you saying, Hilda?"
"Oh, well, you see, David-,"
"Um, uh, do you work here, miss?" A customer asked Joanna, who nodded with a patient smile. "Oh, good, because, you see, there's a giant creature stalking Trollberg, comes out after dark."
"Flashlights? Aisle 13." Joanna says while pointing behind her as the Customer nodded before walking off as another customer basically zoomed into the scene with a panicking, nervous look on his face.
"Hey, you work here? Well, you have the uniform and a name tag, so I guess that answers my question. Anyway, someone who was doing a dare from a friend with a chug of orange juice that he had brought in from the Grocery Store next door may have spilled some of it in Aisle 7 by accident. It's sticky, and it's spreading. Also, I'm definitely NOT the person who spilled the drink. That was another guy...so...yeah..." The Customer says awkwardly before making a break for the exit as Joanna rolled her eyes in annoyance and scoffed as she stood up from the floor.
"Okay, I'll get the mop. Damn, teenagers. Always doing stupid stunts. Hilda? Promise me that you will be responsible and mature when you're a teenager."
"I will make no such promises," Hilda stated matter-of-factly as Joanna sighs heavily.
"Figured as much. Anyway, sorry for the interruption, it's always so busy here. I have only an hour before closing time, so why don't you two go over and visit your cousins at the Library until I finish working?" Joanna suggested as Hilda smiled and nodded, but then the trio flinched as loud flushing rang out from the boys' bathroom.
"Oh...oh no...no, no, no, no, no! Oh, god, it's spilling everywhere! What do I do?! Why didn't I flush when I came in here?! Oh, god! It's in between my toes! Why did I put on flip flops to go into a Hardware store?!" A man's panicky, nervous voice rang out from the inside of the Boys' Bathroom with both Hilda and Stitch sticking out their tongue in disgust as Joanna groans loudly in irritation.
"Logan, stop. We're in public. We're supposed to be working, you goof~," A giggling Kaisa says while standing behind the counter in the Library as Logan could be seen standing behind her and had his arms wrapped around her waist as he kissed her neck a couple of times.
"I know, but it's been a while since we had some fun together," Logan says while kissing her cheek before giving her a kiss on the mouth as an eager Kaisa did the same. "So, why don't we slip back to our private study and-,"
"Are all adults always so lovey-dovey when they are in love?" A familiar voice rang out, stopping the adults from what they were doing as they slowly turned their heads and spotted an innocent-looking Hilda and Stitch standing in front of them as the adults blushed in embarrassment and separated from each other as Logan coughed awkwardly.
"Uh, oh, Hilda, Stitch, good to see you two, but what are you both doing here? Your punishment is over, so you don't have to keep coming here." Logan says as Hilda nodded.
"Yeah, I know, but Mum told us to come here and wait for her to finish her job, so we were wondering if we can hang out with Marcus for an hour or so?"
"Oh, sure, that can work. Why don't you and Stitch head off to your usual spot while Kaisa and I fetch Marcus? He's at the back, sorting through some stuff." Logan says as Hilda and Stitch nodded before the adults walked off as the Famous Duo wandered off to go back to their usual spot in the Library with Twig running off to go find Ivy and hang out with her.
"Alright, Stitch, let's go and wait for Marcus," Hilda says to Stitch, who nodded as the duo continued walking through the Library and had walked up the steps leading to the second floor of the building as the duo was about to head towards their usual stop, but then Stitch froze in his steps as his ears twitched. "Huh? What's wrong, Stitch? You don't have to worry about the whole 'No Pet' rule in the Library. Logan and his girlfriend pretty much got rid of that rule after I started working here for a bit anyway." Hilda says before noticing that Stitch wasn't looking at her as he turned towards a bookcase and narrowed his eyes as Experiment 626 turned on his X-Ray Vision and gasped at what he said.
"Ooh, look, Hilda! Meega found a secret! Meega found a secret!" Stitch says while running over to the bookcase as, before Hilda can stop him from accidentally damaging something in the Library...again, Experiment 626 pushed the bookcase away, and it turned out to be a door leading to a secret room in the Library as it was a huge room filled with a tons of strange-looking, almost magical book as the room was light up with blue/purple torches.
"Whoa!" An impressed Hilda says while walking into the room as she and Stitch walked down the flight of large and long stairs as they reached the bottom. "This must be where they keep the good stuff."
"Huh, Meega wonder why they never showed this room to us," Stitch says curiously.
"Well, we know why they never showed this room to you," Hilda says teasingly with a grin as Stitch rolled his eyes and lifted up his arm to playfully push her away but puts a little bit too much force on his push as he sends Hilda stumbling backwards into a bookcase and collided against it with a small grunt as a lone book fell down into her arms. "Huh? What's this?" Hilda asked with a raised eyebrow as she squints her eyes to read the title. "How to Aid and Keep Thy Friends Forever? Huh, sounds like an interesting read." Hilda says with a lopsided smile while opening the book as a cloud of dust hits her face, causing her to cough uncontrollably as Hilda waves off the dust. "I guess that nobody's opened this book in a long while, huh, Stitch?"
"Ih, so why read it?"
"Tch, tch, tch, Stitch, I thought you knew me better than that? You know that I love reading books, especially new ones, so let's give this book a go." Hilda says while walking over to sit down on a nearby large red comfy chair with a curious Stitch leaping onto her lap as the Blue-Haired Girl opened the book and begins reading it. "You can solve a host of vexing problems for your friends with these spells and charms. Oh, that sounds helpful." Hilda says to Stitch, who nodded as the duo continued reading the book while flipping through the pages. "Let's see here. There's a spell on how to banish pimples...hmm, I might need to save this for when I go into puberty someday in the future...oh, there's also a spell on how to wilt a wart...ewww, that sounds like something Jumba would want to read...oh, here's something interesting. How to ensure a family member or friend's success in a chosen endeavor. Maybe I should try this on David? Just to help him get through his next Warblers audition.
"Oure, phat louve kile a rek ido. Meega lure phat uso a magi lel phat youuga fin no a koop phat saw eyeced ni a porio morr ni eht bary tou fo het butik eye nad guive on serience ni magi foorolio evah in evere konsuleri ta ll (Sure, that sounds like a great idea. I'm sure that using a magic spell that you found on a book that was placed in a private room in the library out of the public eye and have no experience in magic whatsoever have no severe consequences whatsoever)," Stitch says sarcastically while rolling his eyes as Hilda gave him an oblivious smile.
"Thanks, I'm happy you agree with me," Hilda says, oblivious to what Stitch said as he groaned and facepalmed. "I mean, I know that it's a long shot, and you can't believe everything you read at the library, but hey, it's better to try something than not do anything at all...it's a lot of instructions, though," Hilda says with a frown as she and Stitch looked over the page from where the magic spell was written on and hummed thoughtfully as they were about to continue reading but then yelped in surprise when a familiar hand reaches out to grab the book and yanked it out of Hilda's grip as the startled duo looks up and winced when they saw an angry Logan and Kaisa glaring down at them.
"Hilda, Stitch, how did you two find this room?"
"Explain now." A scowling Kaisa says while crossing her arms as Marcus poked his head into the room with a mischievous grin on his face.
"Oooh, you both are in trouble~,"
"Son, not now," Logan says sternly as Marcus flinched and sweated nervously as he kept his mouth shut.
"Oh, uh, Stitch found it with his X-Ray Vision. Are we not supposed to be in here? Is this that 'private room' you two mentioned when you were swapping spit earlier?" Hilda asked teasingly as Marcus gagged in the background when he hears this while Logan and Kaisa blushed in embarrassment as they shared awkward looks.
"Errr, well, no, that's another private room, but that's beside the point. Since you two found these rooms by accident, you won't get in trouble, but you are not allowed to be in here, so we're taking you two upstairs, and you two have to promise that neither of you will ever go into this room again or mention to anybody about it." Kaisa says with a firm glare as Hilda and Stitch shared nervous looks but nods.
"And promise us that you will not use anything that you have read in that book," Logan demanded as Hilda and Stitch nodded tightly with fake smiles as, unknown to the adults, the Famous Duo had their fingers crossed behind their backs. "Good, now, come on, don't want to keep Marcus waiting," Logan says while grabbing onto Hilda and Stitch's arms as he started pulling them upstairs.
"And I will be taking these. I'm sorry, but these books are not meant to be read by the public." Kaisa says while snatching the book that Hilda was reading as the adults lead the duo upstairs and pushed them towards Marcus as Logan and Kaisa then closed up the bookcase, and they disappeared from sight.
"Geez, that was rough, you were lucky that they let you off with a warning, guys. Every time that I try to sneak into that room, they punished me for weeks. Anyway, want to go around and make people think that there are two of you to mess with them?" Marcus suggested while casually morphing around to resemble Hilda as said person beamed and nodded eagerly.
"Sure, go ahead and start without me. I will be there in a sec." Hilda says as Marcus nodded before running off as the Blue-Haired Girl leaned over to Stitch. "Hey, Stitch, you have a photographic memory, right?"
"Ih."
"And you read the whole page, right?"
"Ih."
"Which means that we don't need the page of the book to perform the spell, right?"
"Ih."
"Awesome sauce. Sometimes, it pays to have a super-intelligent alien as a friend." Hilda says with a cocky smirk as Stitch smirked as well, and the duo then began performing their brand new, secret friendship handshake that only two of them know as Hilda and Stitch then ran off to play with Marcus for a while.
"Alright, Stitch, write down everything that you remember about the spell," Hilda says to Stitch as we once again fast forward in time...man, there is a lot of time skipping in this chapter, huh? Anyway, we fast forward in time and whatever, and we see Hilda and Stitch residing in their room on the Blue-Haired Girl's bed with Twig lying beside them as, after playing pranks at the library with Marcus and meeting up with Joanna, the gang has returned home as Hilda and Stitch hid in their rooms to enact their plan to help out David.
"Locuta (Gotcha)," Stitch says before grabbing the pen and paper that Hilda had handed him as Experiment 626 used his super-speed to write down and draw everything that he had seen on the page with his friends watching on in fascination as, once he was finished, Stitch handed the page back to Hilda. "Luve (Done),"
"Nice. Thanks, Stitch. You know, sometimes, I forget that super strength isn't your only superpower." Hilda says as Stitch simply grins toothily and nodded as the duo began reading the page containing the spell. "This enchantment is easily performed by the inexperienced novice...oh, that's me." A cheerful Hilda says as Stitch and Twig nod. "It requires naught but an Enchanted Tide Mouse...whatever that means. Anyway, step one, acquire enough of your friend's hair to fashion a small net."
"Oh, Stitch got that covered," Stitch says while opening his mouth as he unrolled his long tongue to reveal a small saliva-covered ball of David's hair.
"...Okay, I'll bite. Why do you have that exactly?" A weirded-out, bewildered Hilda asked.
"David's Hair covered with bugs. Stitch eats bugs." Stitch explained with a shrug while still sticking out his tongue as his words sounded muffled.
"Uh-huh, why don't you keep that until we need it, bud," Hilda says with a wince as Stitch nods and ate up the ball of David's hair. "Step two, procure an item belonging to your friend. Make sure it is sized to fit into the aforementioned net of hair. Oh, like David's Whistle, perfect." Hilda says with a smile while pulling out the whistle that David had lent her earlier. "Step three, go into a tide pool. Place the hair with the item at the edge and chant these magic words with vigor." Hilda says while reading from the spell page as she nodded.
"Alright, we got everything we need, guys. Let's go." Hilda says as Stitch and Twig nod as we once again fast forward in time...I'm getting sick of writing this phrase...and see the gang residing near the Trollberg Harbor, where what seems to be a shipwreck is being placed on the beach as the trio walks down into it and Hilda nodded to Stitch, who nodded back as he opens up his mouth and stretched out his tongue as he placed the ball of David's hair onto the ground and a disgusted Hilda dropped David's Whistle on top of it as she then took a couple of steps back and took a deep breath as the Eleven-Year-Old Girl closed her eyes and began chanting the spell.
"Huxar fi constuffia! Huxar hasla hagot schluvina!" Hilda shouted while opening her eyes, which were now glowing light blue as a faint magical aura covered her body, and even Stitch's eyes, power cell (Stitch's Heart), and markings on his body all glowed dark blue as the clouds above her darkened briefly before disappearing as a groggy Hilda and Stitch blinked a couple of times, and their bodies stopped glowing as they looked around confusedly.
"That's it? Nothing happened. Stitch not impressed." Stitch stated deadpannedly, seemingly oblivious that he was glowing too, as Hilda rolled her eyes and scoffed.
"Yes, that was it, Stitch. We did everything it said to do. Now, we're supposed to leave it be until the light of dawn." Hilda says as Stitch and Twig nod before they wandered off.
~[Next Day at Crack of Dawn]~
"Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz..." Hilda snored as we see her, Stitch, and Twig all cuddled up in Hilda's bed, all sleeping soundly as rays of sunshine filtered through the window and hits their faces, waking them up as they all groaned before shooting up from the bed as the trio remembered about the spell they cast yesterday. "Come on, boys, let's go see if we've got a Tide Mouse!" Hilda exclaimed excitedly as Stitch and Twig nodded as, after dressing up in their normal clothes, the trio ran down into Trollberg Harbor and ran over to the tide pool that they used as they looked around and frowned in disappointment as there wasn't a Tide Mouse in sight.
"Stitch sorry Hilda's Magic Spell didn't work." A sympathetic Stitch says as Hilda smiled softly and rubbed his head.
"It's okay, Stitch, that was a fun thing to try, but I'm not surprised that it didn't work. Let's go." Hilda says as Stitch nods, and the duo were about to leave but stopped as a growling Twig began barking at the tide pool and Hilda and Stitch look down at it and gasped at the sight of David's Hair and Whistle swimming out of the tide pool as, once it shook around and lost the items, a Tide Mouse could be seen glancing up at the stunned duo curiously as David's Tide Mouse was a small oval-shaped brown mouse with round white glowing eyes that have a green outline, bear-like brown ears, a small pink nose, and a pink striped tail as it also has a high-pitched singing voice.
"Hello, if you're not an enchanted Tide Mouse, then I don't know what is," Hilda says with a grin while reaching down to grab the Tide Mouse as she and Stitch shared a high five.
"Okay, we've made it to the last step, which is to deliver the enchanted Tide Mouse to your friend," Hilda says to Stitch and Twig after the trio arrived at the door to David's Apartment as Hilda had the Tide Mice resting in her arms. "Due to the power of the enchantment, the Tide Mouse shall remain unseen to all but the enchanter...huh, then how come you two can see the Tide Mouse?" A confused Hilda asked as Stitch pointed at the end of the page, and the little Eleven-Year-Old girl glance down at it. "P.S., while Humans may be unable to see the Tide Mouse, the Enchanterers Familiar and other magical creatures may be able to see the Tide Mouse with no trouble. Huh, nice. You're my familiar Stitch, neat." Hilda says to Stitch with a warm smile as she then lifts up her free arm and knocked on the door a couple of times as a groggy, sleepy David answered it.
"Well, you're up early," David says tiredly while wearing his pajamas as he yawns, and the Tide Mouse resting in Hilda's arm perks up as he jumps over to David and crawled up to lay on his head as Hilda, Stitch, and Twig gasped at this. "What? Do I have a bug on my head already?" David asked while scratching his head as his finger phased through the Tide Mouse's body, and the trio sighs in relief at this as Hilda waved her hand around carelessly.
"No, no, bug. You're totally fine."
"Ih. David fine."
"Phew, that's good to know. You two want some breakfast?" David asked before grunting as Stitch practically zoomed into his apartment after hearing the promise of free food.
"Does that answer your question?" Hilda asked playfully as she and David shared a laugh before entering his apartment to eat some breakfast.
"You know, I've been thinking about giving the Warblers one more try," David says to Hilda and Stitch, who were sitting on the kitchen table as the Blue-Haired Adventurer was eating some waffles while Experiment 626 was eating a literal tower of pancakes. "Sure, I've had two disastrous auditions with both of them taking a person to the hospital, but the third time's a charm, right?"
"Right, way to go, David. You truly never give up until you try your very best...and having an Enchanted Tide Mouse that helps you ace the audition doesn't help either." A sly Hilda whispered to Stitch while elbowing him playfully as the duo laughed.
"You can always count on a Sparrow~," David sang as we, yet again, fast forward in time and cue to the Sparrow Scout Headquarters from where David was currently taking his third audition with Stitch playing the piano due to Mrs. Keane still being in the hospital and Hilda sitting behind a teared up Debby. "A Sparrow flies straight as an arrow~," David sang, finishing his little audition as a crying Debby stood up from her chair and started clapping her hands.
"Bravo, bravo! David, that was absolutely perfect! Welcome to the Warblers! See you tomorrow for our first rehearsal!" Debby exclaimed with Hilda and Stitch applauding for David as he beamed and smiled bashfully.
"Really? Wow, okay, see you then!" David says while walking off as his friends give him a thumbs up with him doing the same as, unknown to them, the Tide Mouse's eyes glowed brightly as it took a piece of David's Soul.
"Ah, Hilda, you and Stitch are finally at home." A smiling Joanna says as we fast forward in time and see Hilda and Stitch coming back to their Apartment after David finished acing the auditions as they walked into the house with the little girl being greeted by Twig as they were surprised to see Joanna, Roland, Jumba, and Pleakley all sitting around a table with Hilda's Favorite Board Game 'Dragon Panic' placed in the middle of the table as Amun slept near their feet. "I got off early from work today, so I thought we could have tea and play a game of Dragon Panic. I've even convinced Jumba, Pleakley, and Roland to play with us. If you don't mind? Stitch can even join if he wants to."
"Joanna has told us how much you love this game, so we decided why not play it with you? Is that okay?" Roland asked tentatively as Hilda beamed excitedly with stars in her eyes as she nodded.
"Ooh, yeah, definitely! My Dad, Mum, and I couldn't play the game properly since we only had three players, but with a large group like this, we will be able to play the full game! This will be so much fun!" An exhilarated Hilda exclaimed while running over to sit down on the table next to Roland with Stitch crawling over to sit next to his Master as Pleakley read the instructions carefully.
"Interesting, Hilda, this game looks truly fascinating. I can't wait to play it and learn how Earth Board Games work."
"Bah, do you always have to sound so annoying?" Jumba asked grumpily as the whole group turned to him in surprise.
"Damn, Jumba, where did that come from?" Roland asked as Jumba sighs heavily and placed his head on his head as he turned over to give a sad Pleakley an apologetic look.
"Jumba is sorry for insulting One-Eyed Noddle. Jumba had a very stressful job interview, and Jumba is not sure that Jumba aced it." Jumba says with a somber frown as everyone gave him sympathetic looks.
"Oh, I'm very sad about that, Jumba," Hilda says as Jumba smiles softly and reaches over to pat her on the head.
"It's okay, Blue-Haired Girl. Jumba could use distraction, so maybe playing kiddie Earth Boardgame could be fun?" Jumba says with a shrug as Hilda beamed.
"Oh, well, that's good to hear, and it'll be great to play with you again, Mum. We haven't played Dragon Panic at all since Stitch arrived on Earth, and we moved into Trollberg." Hilda says as Joanna gave her Daughter a guilty, apologetic smile.
"Yeah, sorry about that, Hilda. Things have been a bit hectic. Here, I made us a new scoreboard. You will be the Dragon Master of the first round." Joanna says while pulling out a Dragon Panic Scoreboard as she handed it over to Hilda.
"Nice, thanks, Mum. Your doodles are the best." Hilda says while turning the page over to glance at Joanna's random doodles that she had drawn in as she smiled warmly.
"Thanks, I couldn't help myself."
"Noted...I miss seeing you at your drawing table." Hilda mumbled while looking down sadly as Joanna's smile dropped down, and Hilda's Mother sighed solemnly as she took a sip of her tea.
"I just haven't been able to get any design work in Trollberg yet, so it's the Hardware Store for now," Joanna says while looking away in bitterness and disappointment as a sympathetic Roland reaches over to pat his girlfriend on the shoulder.
"Don't worry, Joanna, I know exactly how you feel. Remember that idea that I told you about on our second date about my dream job of opening up a restaurant? Well, I've been trying to achieve that dream, but it hasn't been as easy as I hoped. No Banks in Trollberg would approve me for a loan, and the spot of land that I wanted to use to build my restaurant has been outbid by someone else, so I'm pretty much in a rut like you." Roland says while lowering his head somberly as an equally sympathetic Joanna reaches over to grab his chin and lifted up his head to give him a quick kiss on the mouth.
"Ewwwwwww." Hilda says while sticking out her tongue in disgust as she covered her eyes.
"Don't worry, Baby. I'm sure that our luck will change soon. As well as Jumba's." Joanna says as Hilda perked up at what she said and lowered her hands as she turned over to look at Stitch, who quickly figured out what she was thinking as the duo shared a determined nod.

Somebody out there is doing better than me
They're kicking back, sipping on an iced tea
Once the gang finished playing a great game of Dragon Panic and everyone went back to their respective rooms/apartment to sleep, we see Hilda and Stitch enacting their master plan as the Blue-Haired Girl snuck into her Mum's Room and was able to grab a tuft of her Mother's Hair from her brush as Hilda also snuck over to Jumba's Room/Lab to steal one of his black wigs with Stitch assuring her that wigs are allowed to substitute for real hair if Jumba wears it daily as Hilda also made sure to steal a couple of items from her family like Joanna's Makeshift Scoreboard and one of Jumba's favorite screwdrivers. With Stitch, we see him using his alien powers to sneak into Roland's Apartment and sliced off a piece of his hair while also pulling out one of Roland's Recipes that he had stolen from the kitchen as Stitch then scurried off.
After grouping up, Hilda, Stitch, and Twig made their way over to the Trollberg Harbor as they placed Joanna, Roland, and Jumba's Items into the Tide Pool and, after going back home and returning back to said Tide Pool at dawn, the trio was excited to see three Tide Mice appearing out of the pool of water. Joanna's Tide Mouse was a small oval-shaped brown mouse with round white glowing eyes that have a yellow outline, bear-like brown ears, a small pink nose, it's entire lower body was decorated in red markings as it was identical to those on the drawing Hilda used to summon it and a pink striped tail as it also was completely silent.
Jumba's Tide Mouse was a small oval-shaped brown mouse with four round white glowing eyes that have a purple outline, bear-like brown ears, a small pink nose, its entire body was decorated with screw-like markings on its body due to Hilda using a screwdriver to summon it, and a pink striped tail as it also was constantly making beeping computer-like noises. Roland's Tide Mouse was a small oval-shaped brown mouse with four round white glowing eyes that have an orange outline, bear-like brown ears, a small pink nose, its entire body was decorated with various food-like markings on its body due to Stitch using one of Roland's Recipes to summon it, and a pink striped tail as it also had a cook's white hat planted on its little head.
Don't mind me, I'm doing as I please
I'm hanging in the trees and singing out at the leaves
Once the Tide Mice were in their possession, the trio decide to split up as Stitch made his way over to the Hardware Store and spotted Roland walking up to Joanna, who was putting something on the shelf as he asked her if she wanted to have a little lunch break date with him as Joanna smiled warmly and was about to 'Yes', but then yelped in surprise when a sneaky Stitch ran over to grab an unsuspecting Joanna's legs and pushed her towards Roland as she landed on his chest with her Boyfriend being able to catch her in his arms as Joanna accidentally kissed him on the mouth...but both adults didn't seem to mind as they closed their eyes and melted into their kiss as the Young Woman wrapped around her arms around Roland's shoulders with the Young Man wrapping his arms around her waist as they deepened the kiss and started making out with tongue as a disgusted Stitch crawled up the shelves to face the kissing adults and shakes his head as Experiment 626 plants the Tide Mice into their hair.
And it all keeps coming back to you
And it all keeps coming back to you
With Hilda and Twig, we see the duo sneaking back into their Apartment as they made their way towards Jumba's Room/Lab and see the Genius Alien STILL sleeping on his bed as he snored loudly and the Young Adventurer and her Deerfox rolled their eyes at their lazy friend before Hilda sneaked over to place the Tide Mouse onto Jumba's head as it settled in. The next day, we see Hilda and Stitch having their usual fun in their room by practicing spider walk, which is basically a game where the duo practices walking like a spider on the wall thanks to Experiment 626's wall-crawling abilities as, the minute they heard the doorknob jiggling, Hilda and Stitch were quick to unstick themselves from the roof and fell down onto the bed safely as the door was opened and a smiling Joanna, Roland, and Jumba rushed into the room excitedly.
"Hilda, Stitch, great news. You're never going to believe this, but I've been hired by the Trollberg Bellmakers Corporation as a Graphic Designer on their citywide ad campaign."
"So does that mean-,"
"Yep, no more Hardware Store. After I'd received the great news, I was quick to quit my job and had even called the police on my Boss for selling customers fake products. They arrested him a couple of hours ago." Joanna says with a cheerful giggle as Hilda beamed and stood up from her bed as she leaped into her mother's arms.
"So you will be working from home from here on out?" Hilda asked hopefully as Joanna nodded while kissing her daughter's forehead as she giggled.
"Yep, this job is huge, Hilda. They're rolling out a whole new line of personal-use bells. Jingle bells, sleigh bells, bicycle bells, dinner bells, doorbells, cowbells, you name it. Once I finished graphic a few designs for them, we will be rolling in more money than we can even count." Joanna says while squishing her cheek against Hilda's cheek as the girls giggled.
And it all keeps coming back to you
And it all keeps coming back to you
"And that's not all of the good news, Hilda. Remember when I said that I couldn't find a bank to approve me for a loan?" Roland asked cheekily as Hilda nodded eagerly. "Well, I guess one of the banks changed their minds because they sent me a letter this morning where they approved me for a loan and had even transferred the money into my bank account already. And, what's more, the person who outbid me for the plot of land that I wanted decided to randomly decline to buy the plot of land and handed it over to me! This means that, in a couple of years or so, my dream of owning a restaurant is finally coming true! It may take a little while, but this is a great first step for me!" An exhilarated Roland says while walking over to share the hug with the girls as Roland and Joanna shared a congratulating kiss as, for once, Hilda didn't complain about it and merely smiled warmly.
"Jumba also has good news to share with everyone. Apparently, Jumba didn't do a bad job in the interview as Jumba thought because Jumba got the job! You're looking at Trollberg's Newest Mad Scientist." Jumba says with the Humans looking excited about the news as they walked over to hug him as well.
"Mad Scientist, Jumba? What happened to being an Evil Scientist?" Stitch asked while walking over to join in on the hug as his Creator shrugged with a grin.
"Well, Jumba can't exactly call himself an Evil Genius anymore since Jumba changed ways, so Jumba has settled to being called a Mad Genius and, soon enough, Jumba will be able to create an array of chaotic and crazy contraptions!" Jumba yelled while letting out a loud, sinister, evil laugh as everyone stared at him deadpannedly, and Jumba sees this as he stops laughing. "Errr, Jumba still has to work on not laughing evilly anymore," Jumba says with a sheepish smile as everyone laughs.
"He, he, this seems kind of like a dream come true for us, and it just came out of nowhere like magic."
"Yeah, like magic," Hilda says slyly while sharing a grin with Stitch as they shared a fist bump.
Somebody out there is doing better than me
Somebody out there is buzzing like a bee
A few days later, we see the gang residing in the Sparrow Scout Headquarters as Stitch and Frida were practicing playing their musical instruments while Hilda and David were exercising their vocal cords by signing as a bee appeared out of nowhere and tried to fly into the boy's mouth, only for his Tide Mouse to swat it away with its tail as Hilda mentally sighs in relief before she continued signing. Being blindfolded by Jumba, Hilda, Stitch, and the rest of the family walks into a dark room in the Trollberg Laboratories as the Bald-Headed Genius was quick to turn on the lights and told them to take off their blindfolds as they did, and the whole group was stunned at the sight of a huge kick-ass, technologic advanced lab standing before them as they were quick to congratulate Jumba on his new, awesome lab with Stitch giving his Creator a fist bump, Pleakley giving him a high five as the others like Hilda, Joanna, Logan, etc., merely either hugged him or patted his back.
Somebody out there is doing better than me
They're feeling free, feeling free, feeling freer than me
Arriving back from school one day after getting some great news from David that their Sparrow Scout Master had named him the Lead Singer for the Warblers Concert and witnessing another one of Eliza's word-class famous temper tantrums of not getting her way, Hilda and Stitch spotted Roland, Joanna, Jumba, Pleakley, and Logan having some tea on a table as the Blonde-Haired Man was explaining to the intrigued Genius Alien and the Shape-Shifting Magic Human what kind of food he will be selling while the Light-Auburn-Haired Woman was showing the One-Eyed Alien a few new graphic designs of bell she had made for the Trollberg Bellmakers Corporation as Hilda and Stitch smiled at this fondly and shared a grin, proud of their accomplishment as they shared a fist bump before walking off to their room to change back into their regular clothes.
And it all keeps coming back to you
And it all keeps coming back to you
One day, Joanna, Hilda, Stitch, and Roland decided to take a family walk-I mean, a friendly walk with each other through Trollberg as an eager Joanna was quick to show off all of the bell designs she had made that were plastered all across the city, and even Roland was able to show off the plot of land that he will use to build his restaurant, although the Young Man had to tell a couple of disappointed Hilda and Stitch that constructing buildings take a long time to make, so it will be a while until his restaurant will be open for business. After performing a great rehearsal for the Sparrow Scout Concert, Hilda, Stitch, David, Frida, and Marcus could be seen relaxing in a park as gleeful Jumba and Pleakley appeared with both of them carrying around a new contraption that the Evil-No, Mad Genius had made as the kids were quick to run over to inspect curious as a smug Jumba was quick to show off his genius to them.
And it all keeps coming back to you

~{Back To You Song Montage Over}~
"Ah, life is great, Stitch," Hilda says to Stitch with a grin on her face as we see the duo resting on their couch, enjoying a lazy night by either reading a book like Hilda is currently doing, or watching a monster movie like Stitch is doing.
"Ih, best month ever."
"I know, right? Mum and Jumba are doing great on their jobs, and even Mr. Trenton is on his way to starting his own business. And David, of course, has been killing it with rehearsals. He, he, you know something? At first, I was worried that our spell would backfire on us, but so far, things have been going excellent. It really seems that there is no repercussions with using magic on our friends and family." Hilda stated cheerfully as Stitch nodded, and the duo were about to go back to doing their usual activities but stopped as someone began knocking on the door frantically, much to Hilda and Stitch's confusion as they stopped what they were doing to answer the door and were surprised to see a worried Frida standing in front of them.
"We need to talk," Frida stated seriously yet urgently as Hilda and Stitch shared a look before turning back to their friend as they nodded and guided an anxious Frida to their Shared Room as they closed the door behind them. "I'm sorry for coming in so late at night, but you two are the experts on all things weird and creepy...no offense."
"None taken/Okitaka." Hilda and Stitch said in unison with a nonchalant shrug as they don't mind being called weird and creepy.
"Cool, anyway, I was wondering if either of you could explain what's going on with David."
"Wait, what's going on with David exactly?" A puzzled Hilda asked as Stitch nodded in equal confusion.
"Ih, David looks okay. Nothing weird going on with him."
"Yeah, David is doing fine, better than fine, actually. I've never seen David so confident and happy before." Hilda commented idly as Frida shakes her head at what the duo said and placed her hands on her hips.
"Look, you two don't know well enough about David like I do, but trust me when I say that he's not himself. There's something seriously wrong with David."
"Really, like what?" Hilda asked with a raised eyebrow as she and Stitch crossed their arms.
"Oh, you know, maybe the fact that sometimes David stares up into the sky with a blank expression on his face, and I could swear that his eyes were glowing green. Or maybe whenever David growls at me like a monster with green drool leaking out of his mouth, but the one thing I find that is truly off about David is that green mist rises off from his head." Frida asked sassily with a glare as Hilda and Stitch blinked at this a couple of times in pure disbelief and shock.
"...David is possessed by a ghost." Stitch stated bluntly, saying the first thing that came to his head as Frida gasped at this in horror while Hilda turned to give her alien friend a scolding look.
"Stop joking around, Stitch. David is not possessed by a Ghost."
"Really? Then you know what's going on with David then, Hilda?" Frida asked quizzically yet hopefully as Hilda gave her friend an apologetic smile and shakes her head.
"Not really, no."
"Thankfully for you three, I do," Alfur says while poking out of his house as the trio turned to him curiously. "All of the things that Frida has mentioned are all classic symptoms of an enchantment."
"What?! But who would enchant him!?" Frida asked as Hilda and Stitch froze up and shared a nervous look as they sweated awkwardly and looked away as the duo whistled innocently. "Hilda, Stitch, please that you two didn't-,"
"Enchanted David to help him with his audition into the Warblers Concerns? Yeah, we did...well, I was the one that did the enchantment, but Stitch mesmerized the spell from Kaisa and Logan's Book at the library." Hilda says while scratching the back of her head anxiously as she and Stitch laughed sheepishly.
"...YOU TWO DID WHAT?!" A wide-eyed, shocked Frida and Alfur exclaimed as a pair of guilty-looking Hilda and Stitch lifted up their hands in surrender with the little alien hiding behind his friend.
"B-But is not a dangerous one, I assure you. It's from a Library Book, for goodness sake, and Stitch even read the page thoroughly. Right, Stitch?"
"Ih, Stitch read the whole chapter. No dangerous side effects." Stitch says with a firm nod as both Frida and Alfur looked unconvinced by what the duo said.
"Hmmm, I don't know about this, guys. I mean, Stitch said that there were no dangerous side effects on the spell page, but it also didn't mention anything about the weird things happening to David. Can you hand me the page with the spell?" Frida asked while holding out her hand as Hilda nodded and briefly crawled under her bed to fetch the spell page that Stitch had written a month or so ago as the Blue-Haired Girl handed it over to Frida and Alfur, who read the page quickly as they then turned back to the duo. "Did you two follow up on footnote number 35?"
"Uh, no, not really. Stitch and I were kind of in a rush because Logan and his girlfriend caught us sneaking into their private room." Hilda says awkwardly as Alfur scoffed and rolled his eyes as he waved his hand around in disappointment.
"Oh, guys, never ever ignore a footnote."
"We need to check it out immediately," Frida stated seriously as the duo nodded.
"Noted. Unfortunately for us, though, the Library is closed by this point, but luckily for us, however, my Cousin works there. I will give him a call and see if we can sneak into the Library after hours...I just hope that he won't be mad that we used the book's spell." Hilda says nervously before running off to find her phone to call for Logan as the others waited patiently.
"I can't believe you guys! Even after I explicitly told you to not use anything that was written in that book, you and Stitch still went ahead and did it, anyway?!" An annoyed Logan asked as we...ugh...fast forward in time and cue over to the Trollberg Library, where we see Hilda, Stitch, Frida, Alfur, Logan, Kaisa, and Marcus making their way down the Library's Private Room as the Bosses of the Library were currently reprimanding a pair of guilty looking Hilda and Stitch.
"Logan? Remind me to update the security of this place immediately." Kaisa says with a firm glare as he nodded.
"Look, we're sorry that Stitch and I used the spell on your book, but we didn't know that it would actually work," Hilda says defensively just as they reached down to the end of the large steps as Kaisa went over to fetch the book that Hilda and Stitch used a month back.
"Huh, I didn't even know this room existed," Frida commented while looking around the Private Room in amazement as a cocky Marcus turned to her to explain.
"Well, that's because you and the general public aren't allowed to be in this room. This place is only for authorized personnel like me and my Parents. Yep, I'm allowed to come here whenever I want."
"That's a lie, and you know it, Son. We never allow you to come here alone. Your Mother and I are always forced to supervise you whenever you want to come into this room and to make sure that you don't accidentally blow up Trollberg or kill anyone." Logan stated sternly as Marcus pouted.
"Dang, Pops, that's cold," Marcus says as Frida giggled in amusement.
"Here it is. Let's see which spell you used and how much you screwed up." Kaisa says while walking back to the group as she held onto the 'How to Aid and Keep Thy Friends Forever' book, and placed it down on a nearby desk as the Witch opened it and everyone crowded around her to take a peek at the book.
"Look for Footnote," Stitch says to Kaisa, who nodded curtly as she flipped over the pages until she found the footnote as the gang gasped at what they see.
"Whoa! It's a whole page of info!" Frida exclaimed in surprise.
"Yeah, you know, you really should have stolen the whole book because the warnings...the warnings come after the spells," Logan stated blankly as Hilda gave him an exasperated, irritated frown.
"Man, Stitch happy that meega didn't have to read through all of that," Stitch says, causing everyone to give him a disbelieving, scolding look as Hilda laughed at this sheepishly and shrugged.
"Yeah, Stitch's right. It's probably a lot of blah, blah, blah. I mean, who would be dumb enough to put the important stuff in the footnote?"
"Hmm, you know what? Hilda does make a point." Logan says admittedly as Kaisa and the others mumble in agreement, except for Alfur as he shakes his head with a heated glare.
"No, she's not! Look, just read the darn thing to see what we are dealing with!" An agitated Alfur says with a huff as the group eyed him oddly before shrugging as Kaisa and Logan began reading the long-ass footnote.
"Blah, blah, blah, cursed souls, blah, blah, blah, eternal damnation-Ooh! Here are the side effects!"
"Alright, side effects include blanked-out glowing eyes, occasional growling and drooling at the mouth, or a fine mist rising from the Enchantee's scalp." Logan read.
"Oh, that's not so bad. Inconvenient, but nothing life-threatening." A smiling Hilda says as Stitch nodded with an 'Ih'.
"It also says that these are typical signs that the soul is preparing to be forfeited to the Enchanter for all eternity," Kaisa added in blankly as Hilda and Stitch went wide-eyed at this in absolute shock and horror.
"Holy shit! You're stealing your Mother and your Friend's soul, cus!" A stunned Marcus exclaimed as Logan mindlessly swat him in the back of his son's head for cursing.
"Oh, no! That's terrible!"
"Well, I guess that's one way to keep your friends forever," Alfur says with an awkward laugh as everyone glared at him, not in the mood for jokes as the Little Elf sheepishly hid inside of Hilda's hair embarrassedly.
"This is not at all what I meant to do! I just wanted to help my friends! Please tell me that there is a way to fix this!" Hilda asked Kaisa and Logan pleadingly as they nodded.
"Yes, there is. Luckily for you guys, there's a 30-Day Trial Period on this spell. It says that if the Enchanted Tide Mouse is returned by the end of the 30 Days, the Enchantment is broken." Kaisa says.
"It also says to please be advised that the official disenchantment requires certain actions on the part of all involved," Logan added in as the kids stared at the adults confusedly.
"Such as what?" Stitch asked curiously while tilting his head as Logan and Kaisa shrugged.
"Don't know, it doesn't seem to say."
"Maybe there is another footnote," Frida suggested while walking over to peer into the book as the others did the same, and Alfur perked up as he spotted something that made him smile.
"No, but there is an asterisk!"
"Yes, you're right, it says to see appendix one for instructions...whatever that means," Marcus says with a shrug as his Mother skipped over the pages...and the gang blinked in disbelief at what they see as they squinted their eyes.
"That is the tiniest fine print that I've ever seen!" Hilda exclaimed in shock as the others nodded in agreement.
"Whoa, it's a masterpiece of confusion clauses, that's for sure," Alfur says with an impressed look on his face.
"But how can we read the fingerprint? Only someone with supervision can read that!" Frida yelled in exasperation as Stitch beamed and blinked as his eyes turned pink.
"Stitch got this," Stitch says while leaping onto the table to get a better look at the book as his enhanced vision zoomed in on the fine print and coughed a couple of times as Stitch began reading. "Mechuta kilito mokus lokiji pukio reketekio usleyes an-,"
"In English, please," Hilda stated deadpannedly as, while she and the others are starting to get a handle on Stitch's Language, it doesn't mean they can understand what he's saying due to Stitch reading the fine print too fast.
"Ugh, fine. Step 1, the Witch must first perform-,"
"Wait a minute! We need a Witch to make this work?! But we don't know any Witches!" A distraught Hilda yelled as Logan, Kaisa, and Marcus shared knowing grins and chuckled as the Witch raised her arm.
"Well, if it wasn't obvious until now, I am a Witch."
"Wait...seriously?!" A stunned Hilda asked as she, Stitch, and Frida looked shocked by the news.
"I mean, yeah, I thought you knew already since you found a real spellbook in Logan and I's Library," Kaisa says with a smirk while lifting up her hand as she used her magic to conjure a small ball of blue fire to demonstrate to the kids that she's the real deal as the trio gasped in wonder.
"Whoa, Hilda's Cousin's Girlfriend is a Witch, cool," Stitch says as Marcus nodded with a smirk.
"Damn, straight. Although, even if my Mum wasn't a Witch, Hilda can perform the spell on her own since she casted the spell in the first place." Marcus says as Hilda gasped at this hopefully.
"Wait...does that mean that I'm a Witch now that can use spells and have magic and stuff?!" An excited Hilda asked with stars in her eyes as her hope and dreams were brutally crushed when Kaisa throws back her head and lets out a loud laugh.
"Oh, no, not at all. Granted, the fact that you were able to cast the spell in the first place means that you have a Witch's Aura, but it doesn't mean that you're a Witch yet. It just means that you have the potential to be one. Becoming a Witch takes a lot of years of study and practice."
"Awwwwwwww," Hilda says with a disappointed, sad pout as Frida and Alfur gave their friend a sympathetic pat on the back.
"Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Do you mind continuing reading, Stitch?" Logan asked Experiment 626, who nodded as he turned back to the book.
"It says that the Witch must first perform this chant out loud with vigor, but it only works if you do it at moonrise. Once the disenchantment has begun, it must be completed within an hour in order to take effect." Stitch says before taking a brief break to cough loudly, still not used to talking in full sentences in English as he then continued. "Also, do not forget to feed the disenchanted Tide Mouse a small morsel of bread at the end, or it will never leave you in peace."
"Ah, good to know," Frida commented with a shrug as Hilda turned to her friends with a nervous look on her face.
"The 30 Days are almost over. We've already missed moonrise for tonight."
"Which means that tomorrow night is our last chance to save your Mother, David, and Jumba," Marcus says with a grim expression on his face as everyone nods.
"Yeah, but it will be during the Warblers Concert. How would we know when moonrise occurs?" Hilda asked.
"Hmmm...oh, I have an idea. How about Kaisa, Marcus, and I go to the Concert, and we will keep an eye on the clock. When it's time for moonrise, I will have Marcus here transform into various people to signal you that moonrise is approaching."
"But, I will break out the chant on the stage with everyone watching me. I'm going to seem a little crazy." A shy, embarrassed Hilda says before perking up as she turned over to Kaisa. "Unless a kind and beautiful Witch will do the chant for me?" Hilda asked pleadingly, only to frown in disappointment as a smirking Kaisa shakes her head.
"Yeah, no. Trust me, I have a weird reputation of my own, and I don't want to make myself stand out again. Besides, I will do the second chant to break the spell so that you don't have to do all of the work."
"Gee, thanks." A deadpan Hilda says as Frida wrapped her arm around her shoulders with a cheeky grin.
"Hey, Hilda, don't worry, you already have a reputation for being a weirdo, so this event won't ruin what little popularity in school you have already," Frida stated cheerfully as Hilda gave her a side-eyed, irritated look, annoyed by her friend's attempt to cheer her up as she sighed heavily, and Stitch patted her head to comfort her.
"Don't you dare, 'there there' me, Stitch. I'm not in the mood for it right now." Hilda stated with a growl as Stitch yanked his hand back nervously.
The next day, we cue to nighttime as we see multiples Parents and Adults making their way into the Sparrow Scout Hall and were taking their seats to watch their kids perform as we see Joanna, Roland, Jumba, Pleakley, Logan, Kaisa, and Marcus making their way into the room as they sat down beside David and Frida's Parents as Logan and his family glanced over at the stage and saw Hilda poking her head out as they shared a nod before the Blue-Haired Girl pulled her back into backstage from where the rest of the Sparrow Scouts could be seen practicing for the concert as Stitch was outside, sitting on the piano as many audience members were mumbling to themselves confusedly on how an ugly-looking dog can play the piano.
"Welcome back, Parents." A smiling Debby says while walking into the stage as the audience gave their full attention to her. "What a great evening of fundraising and frivolity, and now, for our Grand Finale, 'the Sparrow Scouts Forever!'," Debby exclaimed as the curtains were pulled back to reveal Hilda and the other kids as the spotlight was shined down on them.
"Whoo! Yeah! Go, Hilda! Whoo!" Jumba and Pleakley cheered loudly while wearing their Earth Disguises as they were clapping their hands together repeatedly, and everyone turned to the aliens in confusion and annoyance with Joanna and the others looking visibly embarrassed by Jumba and Pleakley's actions as they weren't the only ones because a blushing Hilda was forced to look away as her Sparrow Scout Friends giggled and laughed.
Jumba's Earth Disguise consists of him wearing a short black wig with a gray fedora that has a black stripe, two pairs of black sunglasses to cover his four eyes, a fake small black mustache, a long-sleeved black turtleneck sweater, a gray scarf wrapped around his neck, black jeans, and black shoes.
Pleakley's Earth Disguise consists of a short-sleeved brown jacket with a sleeveless black dress underneath as it reaches down to his legs, black fingerless gloves, black high heel boots, and also wears a large curly blonde wig with a touch of blue eye shadow and red lipstick as the octopus-like alien was holding onto a small brown purse.
"Err, thank you for your...eager cheering, Hilda's Uncle and Aunt," Debby says with an awkward smile as Jumba and Pleakley then stopped cheered as Hilda sighs in relief at this but then flinched as Joanna, Roland, and Jumba's eyes glowed yellow/orange/purple as they opened their mouths and multi-colored drool leaked out of it as Hilda gasped in alarm at this and turned her head to share a concerned look with Stitch and Frida. "Anyway, let's begin with the concert," Debby says with a cheerful smile as she gestured at Stitch to begin playing the song, and the furry blue alien nodded as he cracked his knuckles and began playing on the piano as Frida and the other marching band members began helping him out by providing some musical back up.
"Oh, Sparrow Scouts are proud to be a friend to all humanity~," David and the others sang while walking towards the center of the stage as they placed their arms behind their back and closed their eyes as they continued signing with Hilda being the only one who has her eyes opened to keep an eye out on when Marcus and the others will give her the signal. "To animals and spirits, too! We pledged to be of use to you! We do a good thing every day! For that's the Sparrow Scouting way~!"
"Hey, Hilda and the others aren't half bad. I kinda expected them to be terrible singers, but they're actually pretty good, great even. Heck, even the little monster isn't doing that terrible of a job at playing the piano. I thought that Stitch will try eating it or something, am I right, Jumba?" An oblivious Pleakley asked teasingly while elbowing Jumba, who still had glowing eyes and a drooling mouth as he then reverted back to normal, alongside the others as Jumba, Joanna, and Roland didn't know what was going on with themselves as Logan, Kaisa, and Marcus shared a worried look.
"You can always count on a sparrow! A sparrow flies straight as an arrow~!" The Sparrow Scouts sang before stopping as Stitch stopped playing on the lame-ass, old piano as he moved over to start playing on a keyboard, and the lights died down as Stitch raised his yellow jersey and popped out his alien arms as he began playing some moody electronic music.
"Birds of a feather flock together! We are Sparrow Scouts Foreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrr! Sparrow Scouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttttttttttttttttttttttttttssssssssssssssssss Foreeeeeeeever! Sparrow Scoooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuttttttttttttttttsssssssssssss Foreeeeeeeeeeeeeveeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrr~!" David sang beautifully while absolutely killing the high notes like a boss as everyone in the audience went teary-eyed at the performance, including Hilda as she was so entranced by his signing that she almost missed Logan snapping out of his awwed state and realized that moonrise was coming as he elbowed his son, snapping out of his starry-eyed expression as Marcus gave his father an irritated look, which Logan responded by giving him a pointed look as he gestured up at the ceiling, and the Shape-Shifting Magical Boy realized what his father meant as he nodded and turned over to Hilda as Marcus began shape-shifting into various people like Joanna, Frida, a Mailman, a Chef, and finally David while making loud coughing noises as Marcus reverted back into his normal form before anybody saw him.
"Wait, now? While David's performing his epic solo act?" A frowning Hilda asked after seeing her cousin give her the signal as Stitch and Frida turned to the Blue-Haired Girl as they gave her urgent glares, and Hilda sighs heavily as she reluctantly began chanting the spell. "Oh, God, this is going to be so embarrassing. Well, here it goes...rot cavoya nin feultay-,"
"With vigor!" Stitch and Frida yelled as Hilda flinched before dropping down her arms as she clenched her fists and closed her eyes as the Young Adventurer took a deep breath.
"Sparrow Scouts Forever~-,"
"ROT CAVOYA NIN FEULTAY!" Hilda screamed into the heavens with her face flushing red in embarrassment as her eyes glowed blue briefly and a faint blue aura covered her body before both of them disappeared as Stitch stopped playing music and hid away his alien appendages just as the lights turned on as everyone slowly turned over to Hilda with looks of utter disbelief and confusion.
"What in the world is she doing?" A bewildered Joanna asked with Roland raising an eyebrow in suspicion as the Young Man felt like he had heard that incantation before.
"Uh, is this something normal on Earth?" Pleakley asked Jumba, who shrugged.
"Well, this is embarrassing," Logan says while cringing a bit as he felt sorry for his cousin.
"Yeah, true," Kaisa says as she and Marcus nod in agreement.
"Uh...hi," Hilda says awkwardly while waving at the puzzled crowd sheepishly as a surprised David merely smiled in amusement and chuckled as the crowd of people slowly composed themselves and began clapping for the Sparrow Scouts Performance, but then trouble arrived when Marrabell screamed.
"Eeeeeeeeeeek! A mouse!" Marrabell screamed while pointing at the Tide Mouse on David's head as it seems that due to Hilda breaking the enchantment, sort of, as all of the Tide Mice were now visible to the audience.
"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" David shouted panickedly while brushing away the Tide Mouse from his head as it fell down to the ground and rolled around as the Sparrow Scouts all yelled in fear and fright.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! More Mice!" A random person screamed while pointing at Joanna, Roland, and Jumba's heads as they all realized that they each had an enchanted rodent on their heads and yelped in surprise/disgust as they shook their head around and were able to have the Tide Mice fall on the ground as they scurried around and this sends the audience into a frenzy as everyone started running around and screaming in a panic.
"I knew it! I knew Hilda was a Witch!" A glaring Eliza screamed while pointing at a stunned Hilda as she narrowed her eyes at her rival. "She summoned an army of rats with her spell! Quick! Someone burn the Witch before she casts another spell-," Eliza screamed before getting interrupted by a deadpan Stitch appearing beside her as he held out David's Tide Mouse that he caught earlier, and this caused Eliza to go woozy as she lost consciousness and crashes down into the floor.
"Thanks, Stitch." A grateful Hilda says as Stitch grins at her toothily and nods.
"I got it!" Frida screamed as, after spotting Joanna's Tide Mouse rolling around, the young girl leaped off from the stage while holding onto a bell as she landed on the floor and was able to trap the enchanted mouse inside of it.
"We got the other two," Logan says as he and his family walked toward the group as Kaisa and Marcus were holding Jumba and Roland's Tide Mice.
"Hilda, what is going on?!" A heavily confused yet stern Joanna yelled as she, Roland, Jumba, and Pleakley ran over to the gang.
"I'll explain on the way, but we must hurry!" Hilda screamed while running off with the others as Joanna and the other adults followed after the group as they made their way out of the building.
"So, let me get this straight, you cast an enchantment, and now our souls are in mortal danger?!" A panicking David scream as we...thank god this will be the final time that I will do this for this chapter...fast forward in time and see the gang basically blitzing down the hallways in two separate cars as Joanna, Hilda, Stitch, David, Frida, and Marcus were riding around in Joanna's Car while Roland, Logan, Kaisa, Jumba, and Pleakley were riding around in Roland's Car.
"N-Not if we finish the disenchantment before the hour is up!" Hilda yelled nervously while holding her phone so that she and the group can have a conversation with the other people in Roland's car through facetime.
"Seriously, Hilda, out of all of the things you did-Why would you let her use the spellbook?!" An angry Rolland asked Logan and Kaisa, who glared back at him as they crossed their arms and scoffed.
"Hey, don't blame us! How would we know that Hilda and Stitch would sneak into our private room?!" Logan yelled defensively.
"There was nothing that we could do!" Kaisa screamed.
"Oh, really? How about creating an enchanted shield to prevent anyone but you guys from entering the damn room in the first place!" Roland yelled in exasperation with one of his eyes twitching in anger.
"Jumba can't believe that Blue-Haired Girl is close to capturing Jumba's Soul...Jumba will be so impressed if Jumba was still evil." Jumba commented with a scared yet proud look on his face.
"Impressed?! Impressed!? How can you be impressed that Hilda used black arts to steal your soul?! I'm so glad that I didn't have any problems with work stuff because I refuse to have my soul stolen! This is bad! Really bad!" A panicking, screaming Pleakley exclaimed as, before Hilda could try and calm everyone down, she, David, Joanna, Roland, and Jumba's eyes glowed with blue/green/yellow/orange/purple lights as their mouths drooled with multicolor magical essence as Stitch was quick to literally slap Hilda out of her trance.
"Ow...thanks, Stitch, but seriously, ow, what was that?" A bewildered Hilda asked while rubbing her sore cheek as Stitch gave her an apologetic look as he nodded.
"You're starting to take possession of their souls!" Frida yelled as Marcus then spotted something that made him go wide-eyed in horror.
"I think we have bigger problems! Look!" Marcus yelled while pointing ahead as the group gasped in alarm when they saw that a twitching, growling Joanna was currently not driving the car, and it was speeding out of control with Roland's Car doing the same as Stitch reacted quickly and jumped into Joanna's lap as he grabs the steering wheel and was able to take control of the car as, over at Roland's Car, Pleakley uses his long and stretchy hands to reach over and grabbed the car's steering wheel as he was able to stop it from going off-road and falling down a cliff as Logan reacted quickly and reached over to grab the steering wheel and helped Pleakley regain control of the car as everyone sighs in relief.
"Everyone, okay?" Stitch asked as everyone nodded just as Joanna, David, Roland, and Jumba reverted back to their normal selves as, after explaining to them what just happened, the Adult Couple were quick to speed towards Trollberg Harbor at high speeds and, after a half an hour of driving, the gang were able to arrive at the beach as everyone got out of their respective vehicles as the group rushed over to the Tide Pool that Hilda and Stitch are using to cast their spells.
"Okay, here it is," Hilda says while holding all of the four Tide Mice as she places them down into the Tide Pool and pulled out a sheet of paper as she held it out for Joanna, Roland, David, and Jumba to see. "Say this chant 'Lo fesi jalvali' three times with me. Kaisa, who's a Witch, by the way, will say the chant repeatedly until the spell is broken." Hilda instructed as the trio nodded. "Okay, Kaisa, let's do this." Hilda says as Kaisa nodded grimly before the group took a deep breath as they glared up at the sky.
"LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI!" Hilda, Joanna, Roland, David, and Jumba all chanted in unison as all four Tide Mice suddenly stood up straight on the Tide Pool and glared up at the sky as a huge cyan-colored magical glow covered their bodies and Stitch, Frida, Logan, Marcus, and Pleakley could only gasp in wonder and awe as the Tide Mice fired a huge beam of cyan magical energy into the air as the clouds above them darkened.
"LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI!" Kaisa chanted while holding out her hands as her eyes glowed purple/black with Hilda, Joanna, Roland, David, and Jumba's eyes glowing pure blue/yellow/orange/green/purple as the Enchanterer, i.e., Hilda, slowly floated up into the sky with her Familiar Stitch floating up into the air as well as his eyes, power cell, and markings on his body all glowed dark blue. "LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI! LO FESI JALVALI!" Kaisa chanted with much vigor and passion that was hardly shown from the laidback woman as several pieces of Joanna, Roland, David, and Jumba's Souls floated out of Hilda's mouth and flew back to their original bodies as the beam of cyan magical energy suddenly crashes down into the Tide Pool and a big explosion of sand and dust rang out.
"Ugh, is everyone okay?" A groggy Logan asked after sitting up from the floor as he receives several groans of confirmation. "Heh, good to know," Logan says before getting up from the ground with all the others doing the same as all of them were covered with sand and seaweed.
"Okay, now that everything is back to normal and we have our souls back, Hilda, while I know you meant well, but what the bloody hell were you thinking?!" An angry, exasperated Joanna yelled while glaring over at her Daughter, who winced as she glanced down at the ground guiltily with Stitch walking over to pat his friend on the back reassuringly as Hilda smiled a bit gratefully before taking a deep breath as she turned to her mother.
"I'm sorry, Mum, I thought I found a way to give all of you guys a lucky break, and I'm sorry that I included you, Mr. Trenton, and Jumba. I felt so bad for almost ruining you and Mr. Trenton's Date, so I thought I could redeem myself by helping you guys and Jumba? You're part of my family, and I always want to help my family. I'm sorry that I almost stole your souls. I hope you all can forgive me." Hilda says while lowering her head in shame as tears build up in her eyes, and the little girl sniffled as the adults' angry, stern demeanors died down and were replaced with sympathetic, gentle ones as all of them sighed.
"Well...that is very sweet, I guess," Joanna says with a shrug.
"But also deeply terrifying," David says as Pleakley nodded in agreement, and Jumba rolled his eyes at this as he scoffed.
"What are you scared of, One Eyed Noodle? You weren't the one that nearly got their soul taken out...although this proves that magic spells have an effect not only on Humans, but Aliens as well. Very interesting. Thanks, Hilda, you just helped me out with a little project of mine."
"What project?" Pleakley asked curiously as Jumba merely smirked evilly and chuckled as he walked away. "Hey, what's the project?! Tell me!" A nervous Pleakley yelled while running after him as the others chuckled amusedly and followed after them.
"Hey, I want to say that I'm sorry for everything that happened. Next time, I will read the whole spell with Stitch, and we promise to read all of the footnotes." Hilda says sincerely as Stitch nods.
"Ih, read all of the footnotes, clauses, and fine prints and all."
"Oh? And what makes you think that we would allow you to cast any more spells?" Kaisa asked teasingly as Logan smirked.
"Oh, come on, please, Kaisa! Teach me how to be a Witch! It's my life's dream to use magic!" Hilda pleaded while clasping her hands together as Kaisa merely grinned knowingly and looked away.
"Hmmm, maybe someday, when you're older."
"Awww, poo," Hilda says with a pout as the gang laughed a bit but then Stitch perked up as he grabs Hilda's skirt and pulls it.
"Wait, forgot last step!" Stitch says while pointing at the Tide Pool as a confused Hilda raised an eyebrow at her friend but then beamed in realization as she started digging into her pockets.
"Oh, right, thanks for reminding me, Stitch. Almost forgot the very last step." Hilda says while pulling out a piece of bread as she ran over to the Tide Pool and drops a large piece of bread for the Tide Mice to eat. "Here you go, little ones. Now, be free!" Hilda exclaimed playfully while spreading out her hands as the Tide Mice nodded and turned around to swim away...only to reach the other end of the Tide Pool as Hilda giggled. "Or just swim around there. That works too."
"Well, I could use a cup of tea and a cucumber sandwich. Anybody with me?" A smiling Joanna asked as everyone beamed and nodded as the gang began walking out of the beach.
"Oh, yeah, your cucumber sandwiches are the best. Even better than my Mentor's sandwiches."
"Baby, you know I love you, but don't ever mention her around me again," Logan stated seriously with a comical fearful look on his face as Kaisa giggled and kissed his cheek.
"I'm sorry, sweetums, when we get home, do you want to cuddle me to make you feel better?"
"Oh, definitely," Logan says while wrapping his hand around his girlfriend's waist to pull her in for a passionate kiss.
"Ew, gross! Mum, Dad, get a room! Ugh, parents, am I right?" Marcus asked Hilda...before realizing what he said as he flinched. "Uh, oh, I'm sorry, I didn't-,"
"Don't worry, Marcus, it's okay. Besides, believe me, I know how you feel." Hilda says while looking over at Joanna and Roland, who were having a small talk together with lovey-dovey looks on their faces as Hilda smiled at this fondly...before frowning as the Young Girl was sure that she wasn't ready to see Roland as a father figure yet or even if she would due to still being affected by her father's death as Hilda sighed heavily and Stitch was quick to leap onto her head to cheer her up, and it did as the giggling Blue-Haired Girl told her friend to get off her head and, unknown to the group, all of the Four Tide Mice scurried away to hide in Hilda's bag.
And done! I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter, and I can't wait to write the next one!
Anyway, as always, I will catch you all later.
