Song for Chapter 8: Disney's Frozen II song, "Into the Unknown".

Frodo slept again, drifting off into a strange dream:

The landscape was frosty, chilling him to the bone. Frodo sat up, enduring this icy palace with its icy throne and blue crystals all around him. This was the last place he wanted to be at right now.

"Artica?" Frodo blurted out. He didn't know why, but that name sounded familiar. The last thing he wanted was to be alone. "Artica?" He called out, hoping he would get a response from her.

There was a woman. A woman with blonde hair and donned in a blue dress with a silky train behind it. The way she stopped and looked at her reflection made Frodo remember the past.

This was the last place he wanted to be. Even his breath showed in the cold air. He folded his arms in an attempt to keep warm. It wasn't working out too well for him. He was still cold.

"Elsa?" Frodo asked, between breaths.

"Yes, that is me," Elsa said, turning around to face him. "But you may call me Cynthia. Don't ask me why, but I am the voice that has followed you around for a long time. You have nothing to fear. Elsa—Cynthia—Eliza is keeping watch over you."

"What?" Frodo asked, as he came out of the dream.

Frodo awoke hearing the strangest sound. Singing. He looked up and around, sitting up on his bed. Yes, the voice was calling out to him, reaching for him to touch her.

He turned to Parker, but found the dragonoid was sound asleep. He was a dragonoid, right? Frodo couldn't tell. His mind was shifting between remembrance and forgetfulness.

"Oh, what is happening to me?" Frodo asked, feeling his forehead.

There was the voice again, singing out to him, reaching for him to follow it—her. It was a her that was singing.

"All right. I'm up! I'm up!" Frodo called out, getting out of bed. "What do you want? Why do you keep calling out to me?" He asked the voice, as she sang her way down the hallway. Even from this point, Frodo spotted musical notes flying across the walls.

The sensation caused Frodo to rush down the hallway, sliding across the floor as he neared the game room. Frodo sighed, wondering what the voice wanted from him, "Why did you bring me here? Is it something important?"

The sprite that came out of the voice pointed to the television. The sprite turned on the TV, allowing Frodo to sit down at a chair, as he observed what was going on in the world.

"Over there! Look!" the sprite said, showing Frodo pictures of himself and a woman, who resembled Bethany, only she looked so different. "This is Melody, and she's your friend. You and Bethany have been through a lot together. You have so many lives to live. Your souls are old, ancient, but wise and truthful. Don't back down on your souls. They are important."

Frodo looked down at the table. "Our souls?" He was remembering something. He looked up at the sprite, nodding to her. "Then take me to her."

"When the time comes, you will be ready. Until then, stay here. Your mind's not as sharp as it once was, but it will get better," the sprite said.

Frodo nodded. "All right. I'll do that then."

"Good. Goodbye," the sprite said, taking off with a song in his heart.
