There was a certain planet that was different from the others in how it was shaped and the type of lifeforms that were there, it was called Homeworld and there lived the species of sentient rocks called GEMS who created constructs of humanoid bodies through hard light projections. The very first gems to be born were called DIAMONDS and they were considered to be not the just oldest amongst gems but also the sstrongest who ruled the planet.
But the youngest of them all, Pink Diamond was a bit immature according to their own way of acting but she wanted to be treated like one of them so they gave her a planet to colonize and make new gems to test her. What they didnt knew was that Earth had the potential to give some very extraordinary golden eggs.
In the main Kindergarten of the planet, the injectors were at work drilling into the planet and planting special elements into the ground that would grow into gems given time. It was a delicate procedure and only the best of the best could do it properly but not even the best could predict a small malfunction in a certain injector to transform into a "miracle" as some would see it.
The one responsible to watch the injectors for now was a Peridot with a square like hair style since they were more productive when it came to technology and logs about anything weird, but suddenly a few weird signatures were seen in her screen.
"Hmmm..this is weird, thats not suppose to hap-"
Then out of nowhere the injector started to tremble and shake, some of the components mixing wrongly.
"Aaah! No no no no no, what is going on?!" she said, quickly typing away on a console to fix the problem or stop the injector.
The screen results she was getting wasn't that good either since it looked nothing like she had ever studied before!
The chemicals and nutrients were extractes, mixed and then injected again wether she liked or not and be it a error in the system or fate playing a role, something new was taking shape.
Two somethings in fact as the mixed compounds were forcefully moving towards the the very center of the south wall of the Kindergarten!
"Diamond Clodding Dammit!" The Peridot said in anger. "I gotta push the emergency off sequence!"
She moved as fast as her hands could go, needing this mistake to stop before something bad happened! Too bad it was too late as she felt ac tremor rock the kindergarten, making the Peridot hold the console to stay stable.
"What was that?!" she asked in shock as another tremor shook the kindergarten!
All the other gems who were outside started to feel it too and curiosity took hold as they decided to stop what they were doing to go and check out what was the commotion all about.
The tremors were getting more and more frequent as the Peridot had shut down the injector but they didn't stop!
"What is happening?!" She screamed before seeing the cracks forming, going from the exact spot of the injector towards the south wall!
Jumping off the console, she ran to follow the cracks despite the tremors tripping her up!
"Hey look something is happening!" A random Amethsty said.
"It's so big!" A Ruby said, looking at it.
"What is it?" A skinny Jasper said.
The Peridot arrived at the wall to see it beginning to crack, crumble, yet also pull into two certain spots!
'Is this all just from two gems forming?!' she thought in shock.
"Everyone move out of there!" The peridot screamed.
Every gem turned to her, curious as to why she screamed that until it was too late! The two spots on the wall began to crumble more and more, nearly caving in as lights began shining from the cracks!
"IT'S GONNA BLOW!" An Amethyst screamed, pointing to the wall!
BOOOOOOM!
A large cloud of dirt took place as debris also flew everywhere, the gems trying to get out of the line of fire.
Soldiers were protecting other gems from it as they tried to smash the debris, other gems ran out of the way, and the Peridot in charge was using her limb enhancers to blow some of the smoke away!
"Ooohh no, no, no! This is bad, they are totally going to blame me for this!" Squaridot said, feeling dread at the prospect of losing important resources and being shattered for it.
After a minute or two of clearing smoke, the Peridot turned towards the wall and gasped as she saw two GIANT holes from the explosion on the wall! Who knows exactly how much resources were lost in that explosion and how furious Pink Diamond would possibly be when she found out.
"Ugh..." a mysterious voice said, making Squaridot look before the wall.
Right before the wall, was two mysterious clumps on the ground! This shocked her even more as she didn't expect two gems to actually be created from that madness but maybe this could be a good thing! Maybe Pink Diamond would like these gems!
When the dust settle and her sight wasnt hindered anymore, she was able to finally see the how the new gems looked like and lets just say that they dint look like what she expected from most gems...they were...unique.
Their bodies, they were completely made of stone! Not just one part having a gem to produce a heart like body but their entire bodies were made of gem like stone!
The first one had was tall and had a body overal colored indigo, with several dark lines and spots. His hands and face had a magenta shade and he also sports six magenta shards on his back, two on his chest, and one on the top of his head that resembles a horn. His face consists of a mouth and one large green eye at the center.
The second was a bit shorter than the first but much bulkier as he had a muscular humanoid frame. Completely made of green/blue diamond like crystals with four large sharps on his back and a sharp end on top of his head with two green eyes.
They seemed disorientated at first, looking around their new surroundings and taking in the fact of them being alive and breathing right now, as many eyes laid upon the two with curiosity.
"Where……..am I?" The first one asked, his voice having a strange electric tone to it.
"And who are we?" The second one said, looking at his hands.
"Oh...My...Stars" Squaridot seemed at a loss for words at what she was seeing.
Two gems unlike anything she has seen before! Their bodies, their height, their densities; they blew every standard a gem should have from being grown in a kindergarten in all of Homeworld's history!
Not just that but if she was right, their bodies...
"H-Hello there." Squaridot tried making contact even though she wasnt sure.
The two gems turned to Squaridot, standing up slowly as she approached them and took in their height VERY easily. Especially since they TOWERED over her, even in her limb enhancers!
'E-EEP!' She thought.
"G-Greetings to you two hahaa...w-welcome to earth?" She said with a nervous smile.
"Earth?" the second one asked.
"Is that where we are?" the first one said, looking around the area.
"Y-Yes, this place I located on the planet earth." Squaridot said with a nod.
The two big hunking gems stepped down from where they had been just born and start taking their first steps on the new world around them. They wavered a bit, yet they managed to get into their first steps down before stopping before the Peridot, looking down at her as she reached their chests.
"Do you...two know what you are? Sorry if the question seems weird but this is a bit of a situation I'm in now." Squaridot said, feeling nervous.
"I...We...are made of stone, are we not?" the first one said, looking at his crystal hands.
"Possibly crystals, right?" the second one said, moving his fingers before curling them into a fist.
Peridot examines his bodies and how they were different not just by the material but...certain parts which made her blush before quickly looking at their faces again
"You two are Gems." She said quickly.
"Gems?" they both asked, confused.
"Yes, gems." Squaridot said, gesturing to her left eye which was actually her triangle shaped gemstone.
Though, once again, she noticed they didn't have gemstones visible like other gems did. Like they were entirely made of gemstone. An interesting concept but would prove to be somewhat troublesome, since they were currently without any clothing!
"U-uhm..." Squaridot tried to speak about how they should come with her and meet her superior but she started to feel distracted the more she looked at their figure, specially their chests, the perfect and chiseled gem, bulky physiques they had.
'What am I feeling right now?' She thought, slowly gaining a green blush in her cheeks.
"Excuse me but can you tell us your name?" The first one asked.
"Or possibly our names?" The second one said.
"Uhmm...My name is Peridot Facet 734-zq and as for your names? Well, usually we know that from the gem your born from and give a designation number but in this case? I'm not so sure." She said as she looked onto their shinning forms.
The second one had a green luster to it but it didn't feel like a Peridot, Jade or Emerald.
And the first one with one eye, he didn't seem like a Sapphire by the eye or a Ruby by the color of his hands and spikes. Not to mention his darker colored body.
"P-Please follow me if you must, I will try to explain everything as much as I can." Squaridot said to them.
With no other option, the two fully gem being nodded to Squaridot before following her as the other gems in Kindergarten began talking about them.
"Did you see them?"
"How are they like that?"
"I've never seen gems like that!"
"What do you think Pink will have them do?"
This didn't go unnoticed by the Peridot as she growled and glared at them.
"Don't you all just stand there! Get back to work and clean this mess!" Squaridot said.
This made the gem soldiers rush to go back to their duties or aid in cleaning up the giant mess created by the malfunctioned injector.
The two unknown Gems would have to be first introduced to Pink Diamond and maybe she would have a better understanding of the situation, after all the Diamonds are the higher authority.
If anyone could understand what and how these two were born, it would be them.
