"Okay, Roxie and I will give you the brief recap," Rex narrated. "Thanks to these weird microscopic machines called nanites, I can build cool gear out of my body and Roxie can generate almost anything she can think of into existence."

Rex and Roxie were in the training room at Providence headquarters as Roxie fired her blasters, scoring tons of headshots on the dummies that popped up around her as she shifted her handguns into a shotgun to blast them away as her brother flew overhead, shifting his Boogie Pack into his Smack Hands to slam through the spikes that popped up in the area with a smirk to his sister as they fist-bumped each other.

"We're both something called an EVO. But we're not like the others," Roxie narrated. "They usually look like this."

The camera then showed off the tons of hideous EVOs that the twins had fought over the years as Roxie let out a groan of disgust.

"We know what you're thinking," Rex said. "And yeah, they smell bad too."

Rex shifted his Smack Hands to his BFS and Roxie threw her shotgun away and summoned her battle axe and the twins shouted out as they charged forwards with Rex shifting his sword to its saw mode.

"There's one other thing about us that makes us special," Roxie said. "Some EVOs, we can cure."

"That's why we work for Providence. We're the people you call when an EVO is tearing up your lawn or attacking a city."

As they finished with the spikes, two flamethrowers were blasted out of the walls that engulfed the twins in a massive wall of flame.

"And the worst of them is this guy. Van Kleiss," Roxie narrated.

"The last time the two of us went toe to toe with him, things got a little out of hand..." Rex narrated.

"Okay, bro. I'll be the first to admit that we totally got our asses handed to us."

"No kidding. He stole the Keep, wrecked Providence Headquarters, and hijacked our nanites to get back the powers we took away from him. Now he can actually make people into EVOs."

"Then, after we were left totally powerless, to top it all off, he has his lapdog Biowulf throw us overboard at six thousand feet in the air! Not that anyone's keeping score, of course..."

"Sure, Van Kleiss may be back, but so are we."

Rex then shot out of the flames on his Rex Ride as Roxie backflipped off of it as a powerful rocket launcher popped up in front of her and her brother.

"So what if he can make EVOs now?" Roxie asked as she and Rex dodged around all the incoming missiles. "We can still cure them."

"He may have new powers, but guess what? We do too."

Rex and Roxie dug deep as Rex built up his new Blast Caster as Roxie built her new spear she called the Smite Stick.

Rex whipped around to catch a missile and tossed it back at the launcher as Roxie shouted out and twirled her spear around elegantly as she stabbed into several missiles as it exploded in front of her as she flipped her hair back.

"Ever since our powers came back, we've got the ability to make amazing new machines."

As the twins dispelled their new builds, some pistons suddenly popped out of the wall and hit the twins point blank, causing them to fly around like they were in a pinball machine.

"Now we just have to figure out how to build more..."

As the twins were getting smacked around, Six watched from above with a disapproving glance before turning away from the window to walk down to the training ground to talk to the twins directly.

"If you're trying to check up on us, Six, the answer is still a big fat AAAHHHN!" Roxie shouted, letting out a buzzer sound.

"We just can't seem to figure out how to make any new builds," Rex said as he and Roxie picked themselves off the floor.

"It might take some time, but you'll get it," Six reassured.

"Yeah, and meanwhile, while we're getting smacked around in here, Van Kleiss is out there doing who knows what," Roxie said.

"I wish they'd just hurry up and get the HQ rebuilt," Rex said as he, Roxie and Six left the training area.

"You're not still living out of your jump jet like some ninja hobo, are you?" Roxie joked with a giggle.

"My temporary accommodations are perfectly adequate," Six assured.

"Yep, as I thought. Still living in the jet."

The trio walked to the still destroyed hanger as Rex groaned.

"Ugh, I hate being kicked out of our house."

"Although, as long as they're still building stuff here, I need a hot tub here," Roxie said.

As Providence Headquarters was still under construction, the twins were currently living with Noah as they sat on the couch watching a Spanish soap opera munching on popcorn.

"What are you watching?" Noah asked.

"Cultural Enrichment," Roxie said. "Later on, we'll find out if Dr. Suarez chooses Isabel or her evil half-sister Anamaria."

Noah furiously jotted down his notes as the show's dialogue continued playing in a language he didn't understand, distracting him.

"If you two are going to stay with me while they're rebuilding Providence, at least don't flaunt the fact that you don't have a pre-calculus test in three days."

"Pre-what?" Rex asked, chewing on a muffin.

"Exactly my point. Oh, and when I agreed to this, I wasn't expecting the sidekick too."

"Hey, pallie, we're a package deal," Bobo said as he clipped his toenails. "Live with it."

Unfortunately, one of Bobo's clippings flew off and went directly into Noah's mouth, causing him to gag intensely.

"Was that a toenail? Did I just get hit by a toenail?!"

"GRODY!" Roxie shouted in disgust.

"What's your deal?" Rex asked, standing up from the couch.

"Dude! It went into my mouth!" Noah shouted.

"Okay, that is gross. Bobo, bad monkey!"

"Seriously bad monkey!" Roxie shouted, picking him up by the back of his neck.

"I thought this would be fun," Rex said.

"For you two maybe," Noah said, going back to the books. "But I have a real life too. As much as I want it to be, it can't be all fun and games all the time, guys."

"Why not?" Rex asked as Roxie looked at her crush sympathetically. "It works for me."

"Hey, I like adventure as much as the next guy, but I still have to pass math!"

"You're not going to fail math," Roxie said. "You have the fourth highest GPA in your class."

"...It used to be third."

"And ten years from now, nobody's going to care," a smug Rex said.

Suddenly, the twins phones rang as they both scrambled to answer them with a smile.

"Hey, Doc. Miss us?" Rex asked.

When no answer came out, the twins then realized they didn't put their ear pieces in and then immediately fixed that issue.

"Talk to us, Holiday," Roxie said.

"Oh, a situation?" Rex asked. "Really? Awesome!"

"Nope, we're not doing anything right now."

Neither twin noticed as Noah leaned over to hear their conversation with Holiday.

"Be right there," Rex said as he and Roxie hung up and threw on their jackets.

"We're gonna go pound some EVO into submission," Roxie said, laying a hand on Noah's shoulder as she fixed her goggles over her head. "Wanna come?"

"You're serious? After that lecture I just gave the pair of you?" Noah asked as Bobo hopped down to join the twins' side.

"Nope. That would be you," Rex said as the trio turned to leave. "Have fun with that math."

"Save the world or a chance at a scholarship?" Noah asked himself before smirking and running out the door. "Alright, I'm coming!"

The group arrived at a shipyard just as Six's jump jet touched down and the twins deactivated their motorcycle builds.

"Now see?" Rex asked. "It's a lot more fun when you just let go."

The team turned to see Providence agents opening fire on a large EVO that shrugged off all the bullets before it roared out and swatted them all aside with little to no effort.

"Will you hold that thing still?" Holiday asked.

Six then leaped off of his Jump Jet and unsheathed his magnet swords with a grunt.

"Dibs!" Rex asked as he ran forwards.

"Rex, we need to come up with a plan of attack!" Roxie shouted.

"I have a plan: attack!"

Rex built up his Blast Caster and wrapped his whip around the EVO and sent it crashing into several metal ship crates, looking cocky as ever.

"That's a whole lot of agents for one EVO, Doc," Rex said, finally smashing the EVO into the ground in a heap.

"They weren't here for the EVO," Hoilday said, running up with a syringe. "That ship is carrying a new power core for Providence Headquarters. This thing just happened to show up when we started to off load it."

"Well, talk about convenience," Roxie said before raising an eyebrow. "Or is it?"

That was when the EVO suddenly recovered and grabbed Holiday, tossing her to Rex, sending both stumbling back before he grabbed the Blast Caster's whip and pulled him in close for a bear hug as Roxie gasped and ran forwards as she gave a dive kick to the EVO's head, causing it to release her brother.

That was when she noticed a particular symbol on the EVO's shoulder as she and Rex turned to each other with a glare.

"Van Kleiss," Rex and Roxie said in unison.

"Holiday, did you see the mark on its shoulder?" Rex asked. "It's a part of the Pack. Van Kleiss made it."

"Why else do you think I've been trying to get a sample from it?" Holiday asked.

"I don't know, just to be science-y?" Roxie asked.

The pair shouted out as they both leaped forwards and Rex built up his punk busters as they gave a dual dive kick to the EVO's head, knocking it out for the count.

"Yeah!" Noah and Bobo cheered as the twins smirked.

"Will that work for you?" Rex asked as he was punched in the face, causing him and Roxie to press down harder as Holiday ran up with her syringe and took a sample of the EVO's DNA.

"Will do. Got it. You two can cure it now."

The twins then shouted out as the EVO grabbed them and tossed them to the ground, flipping himself up on top of them.

"Unless you like getting tossed around like that."

"No hurry!" Noah called. "This is great."

He and Bobo winced as the twins gave a dual punch to the EVO's face as they climbed up to his shoulders and activated their nanites, resulting in the EVO being cured instantaneously as the resulting dock worker fell onto his back with a grunt.

"Ugh, what hit me?"

"That would be us," Roxie said, sticking her hand out.

"You work here?" Six asked as he walked up to the scene.

"What do you think, Mister?" the dock worker asked before walking away, cracking his back. "Argh, my back."

"Yep, you know, sorry," Rex said. "Was trying... not to die."

"Which has been getting harder lately," Roxie said. "If he was mutated at the dock, that must mean that Van Kleiss was here."

"Actually, I think he still is," Noah pointed out as the team looked up to see the Pack walking up into the ship.

Rex and Roxie immediately sprang into action before a huge explosion occurred as the team glared at them.

"They're after the power core," Holiday said.

"All this for a battery?" Rex asked.

"Not just a battery. It could fuel a country the size of Abysus for a decade."

"And it was going to be underneath our room?!" Roxie asked.

She and Rex activated their hoverboard and Rex Ride and flew up to the ship's roof and leaped down as Rex activated his BFS and Roxie summoned her sword as they sparred with Biowulf and Skalamander with a shout.

"Whoa!" Roxie shouted, ducking from a crystal blast as she kicked Skalamander in the face before she summoned her warhammer and smacked him right into Biowulf, sending them toppling over the side of the ship before they leaped down the hole and sped after Van Kleiss, only to meet up with one of Breach's portals before they stopped in their tracks as Rex tackled Breach through the portal and appeared on the other side, right in front of their arch nemesis.

Rex shouted out as he built up his Smack Hands and gave Van Kleiss a wicked uppercut right into the path of Roxie's warhammer, sending him skyrocketing out of the ship as he landed on the roof with Rex and Roxie landing behind him soon after.

"Was wondering when you and your stupid haircut would show up again, Van Kleiss," Roxie said.

"Back to your old selves again, I see," the leader of Abysus said. "And how are those... new abilities of yours developing?"

"Just fine. Thanks for asking," Rex said as he and Roxie built their Blast Caster and Smite Stick and Rex gave a wicked lash outwards, which Van Kleiss backflipped over, landing on the other side as the twins gave chase after him, avoiding the claws he shot at them with a smirk.

Rex built his Punk Busters and almost stomped on Van Kleiss, only for him to run right into a punch from Roxie's gauntlet, sending him careening towards the edge of the ship's roof.

"I bet you guys are thinking 'Did we really think this plan through?'" Roxie mocked. "Was using some poor bystander as a decoy really the best move?"

"I suppose only time will tell," Van Kleiss said, stretching his gauntlet arm around Rex's sword, sending him and Roxie hurtling off of the ship righ tin front of the rest of the team, leaping after them and swatting away all the Providence agents.

Six was unable to help the twins due to being preoccupied with Biowulf.

"You're not as strong as you thought."

"...Not yet," Rex said.

He and Roxie focused on the blueprints in their heads, trying to make a new build, only for it to crumble apart at the last moment.

"I really thought we had it that time-" Roxie said before she and Rex were punched in the face by an extended golden gauntlet.

Van Kleiss smirked as he loomed over our heroes, only to suddenly get rammed by a speeding forklift that Noah was driving with an intense look on his face.

"How awesome was that?" Noah asked.

"What? You clobbering Van Kleiss or Van Kleiss clobbering us?" Rex asked as he and the rest of the agents approached.

"Well, both actually."

The twins rolled their eyes as they approached their arch nemesis.

"Hold on," Noah interrupted. "I need a minute to think of a really good dig."

That was when Van Kleiss lifted his head up with a smile.

"Uh... why are you smiling?" Rex asked. "Noah just owned you. It's over, dude."

"You lost," Roxie agreed.

"...That was the best you could come up with?" Noah asked. "You lose?"

"That didn't count. He caught us off guard with the whole smiling thing, okay?" Rex asked.

"You'd be wise to consider delaying your celebration for the moment, Rex," Van Kleiss said. "You're about to have your hands quite full."

"Oh really?" Roxie asked. "And how do you figure that?"

Van Kleiss only shot his gauntlet out and grabbed Noah's shirt and activated his nanites in an instant, causing him to mutate into a large monstrous EVO that broke through the roof of the forklift, causing everyone to gasp out in horror at what was happening as Breach's portals sucked up her allies as Van Kleiss only smiled wickedly at our heroes.

"This is the part where you two must be thinking 'Did we really think this plan through?" he asked as he was sucked up.

"Noah!" The twins shouted as Roxie felt a tear in her eye at having to fight her crush.

The Providence agents opened fire on Noah as he turned to them with his tongue lolling out of his mouth before turning to run away into the city.

"Are you idiots nuts!?" Rex asked. "Stop it!"

"Stand down!" Six ordered as the agents dropped fire.

"Take it easy, Noah. You're gonna be okay," Roxie said, sticking her hands out. "This nightmare will be over in a second."

But before she could get her hands on her skin, Noah ran away with a roar.

"Great. Just great," Rex sighed.

"Go!" Six ordered.

The twins nodded as Rex built his Boogie Pack as Roxie summoned her jetpack as they blasted off after their best friend/crush with a shout.

The EVO Noah roared out as he ran through the streets with the twins in hot pursuit.

"Noah, if you can still understand us, when I said you should let things go, this isn't exactly what I had in mind!" Roxie shouted.

As Noah turned a corner, he accidentally rammed into a staircase, causing it to destabilize as the civilians all shouted out from the rocking stairs.

Just as the twins were about to save the citizens, they looked to see a jump jet touch down next to the stairs and Six and Bobo ran out.

Six unsheathed his magnet swords and sliced through several street lights before using the swords' magnetism to put the lights under the stairs, stabilizing them.

The twins continued chasing after Noah who leaped up, causing the twins to miss him by the narrowest of margins as they all barreled through a skyscraper, causign all of the officer workers inside to go into a panic and as they emerged on the other side, their builds were instantaneously destroyed.

"Oh, headache," Rex groaned as he was on top of Roxie.

Rex then built his Blast Caster and threw his whip around Noah and tried pulling back, but his new EVO form was too strong and Rex was dragged after him. Roxie shouted out and summoned her motorcycle, driving after her brother.

"It should be about balance, you know?!" Roxie shouted in a sarcastic tone, repeating what Noah said earlier. "Take care of the important stuff! Leave work for a little fun! Well right now, we're having too much fun!"

The twins screamed out before they faceplanted right into a street light with a groan of pain as they slumped down while Six and Bobo approached.

"Everything's fine," Rex said in a dazed tone. "Not a problem."

"If you two can't stop him, it's going to be," Six said.

"You know, Six, you really need to think positive," Roxie said as she and Rex ran off and he activated his Rex Ride as his sister hopped onto the seat beside him as they sped off.

Down the street, Diane Ferrah and her cameraman were driving down the street to look for a story for Ultimate Exposure, when Noah hopped up on their news van, startling the both of them, prompting them to jump out in a panic.

Noah then hopped onto a street light and started swinging from it like a monkey before noticing his two best friends speeding up on him as he ran off before swinging around another street light to get behind them as Rex pulled over.

The twins glared as Noah started chasing his tail like a dog with a whimper.

"That stupid grin," Rex said. "It's like it's all just a game to him."

As REx was about to blast off towards Noah, they were stopped as a familiar old lady stopped in front of them.

"I know you two."

"Yeah, uh, thanks for-" Roxie began.

"You're those Rex and Roxie kids from Providence," she said.

"That's us," Rex said. "We're kind of busy-"

"I have a bone to pick with Providence. Do you two realize how awful it's been?"

"Uh, funny story," Roxie said. "He's actually our friend, so as soon as we can catch him-"

The two tried their best, but the old lady kept blocking their path to Noah as he climbed up on some power lines and hung from them, threatening to snap at any minute.

"Every single night someone moves my glasses. Every night, I leave them on the night stand and when I wake up, they're on the dresser."

The twins were starting to panic as their mutated friend swung on top of the power lines."

"Glasses," Rex deadpanned.

"I'm certain of it. There's an EVO in my house. So why don't you two come over tonight?"

"Uh-huh," Roxie said.

"Now I kept calling you people, but no one will give me the time of day over there. So you tell me how am I supposed to feel safe when there's an EVO in my apartment?"

The twins gasped as they witnessed the wooden power line finally start to snap under Noah's weight and the lines snapped, sparking wildly and Roxie tossed a contact card to her.

"Here, first number on speed dial!" she called as Rex sped off.

"He's eating the cat food too!"

Rex and Roxie rushed forwards as Noah took a line and was instantly zapped by the electricity coursing through the wires.

"That friend of yours is a walking disaster," Bobo said as he and Six stepped up to the twins. "I'm starting to like the kid."

"We'll get this. Go!" Six ordered as the twins ran after their friend.

"Rex, Roxie, can you here me?" Holiday called from the site as she examined the sample from the EVO at the shipping harbor.

"A little busy right now, Doc!" Roxie called.

"Then I'll make it quick. The active nanites Van Kleiss creates are highly unstable. If Noah isn't cured soon, his condition will be permanent."

"How long do we have?" Rex asked as he and Roxie jetted after Noah.

"It's probably different for each infected person. But I calculate less than an hour."

The twins looked to each other with a determined nod as they touched down in front of Noah as he was crushing a car.

"Noah, please listen to us!" Roxie shouted. "If we don't turn you back, this is not going to turn out well. Please, just let us help you."

But as the twins were about to stick their hands out to cure Noah, two Providence jump jets flew by and faced Noah as he glared at them.

"No!" Rex shouted.

Noah gave a panicked grunt as the jets opened fire on the twins' mutated friend as he ran off and the twins chased after the fight on their Boogie Pack and hoverboard.

The twins chased the assaulting jets and Noah through the streets until one fired a missile and blasted them away with a grunt.

Noah noticed the hole in the street and jumped down it into the sewers, leaving behind two distraught twins.

"Thanks a lot, guys. Appreciate it," Roxie said in a sarcastic tone.

The twins gave each other a fist bump as they leaped down the hole to the subway tunnels underneath the city.

"Noah!" Rex shouted. "We're serious, stop playing around!"

Roxie felt her hair being swept back as her mutated crush flew by a tunnel beside them.

The twins turned around to chase Noah, only for a massive light to shine in front of them and they turned to see a subway train running straight towards them, causing them to scream their heads off. Luckily, they leaped up just in time as Rex built his Smack Hands and Roxie held on tight to them as they braced themselves against the ceiling.

"Ugh," Roxie said as Rex dropped them to the ground as the subway passed. "This isn't a game, Noah!"

But as she stopped calling, she noticed that her voice echoed throughout the tunnel.

"Huh," Rex said. "What do you know? Maybe it should be."

"Okay, Noah. We give up!" Roxie playfully called out. "You're it!"

The twins gulped as they heard a rumbling noise approach.

"That better not be another train," Rex said.

Thankfully, it wasn't as Noah came bounding up to the duo.

"Alright!" Rex said... before his face morphed into a frown. "Uh oh."

Noah then gave a headbutt outwards that sent the twins crashing into the distance with a groan of pain.

"Well what do you know? We're it again," Roxie said as she stood up, rubbing her throbbing head.

"Rex, Roxie, any luck?" Holiday asked over the radio.

"Yep. Bad luck," Rex said. "We got him. Stand by."

The twins looked up to see their panting friend with his tongue lolling out of his mouth.

"This isn't going to hurt. We promise," Rex said as he and Roxie stuck their hands out and activated their nanites... only for nothing to happen, much to their horror.

"Rex? Roxie?"

"We're too late," Roxie realized.

"I don't believe this," Rex said as Noah was shuffling on the ground like the dog he currently was. "Our best friend's an EVO forever. And not even a cool EVO. He's the annoying break stuff kind!"

Noah then gave a massive burp outwards, blowing the twins' hair back as they gave an annoyed glare.

"Ew! Breath mints, dude!" Roxie shouted with an embarrassed blush.

"Actually, guys, it might not be Noah that's the problem. Your bio-metrics have flatlined."

"All that running around. He just wore us out," Rex realized.

"You hear that, big boy?" Roxie asked the panting Noah. "It's us, not you. There's still a chance. Just give us a minute to catch our breath."

Suddenly, Noah gave a loud whimper as he stepped back with his pawed hands up.

"Noah, don't even..."

But Rex's warning fell on deaf ears as Noah ran away in a panic down the tunnels.

"Nononononono!" the twins shouted out, but their friend just disappeared into the darkness.

"I don't believe this," the twins sighed before they turned to see their archnemesis approach from the shadows.

"You know, you really need a hobby, Van Kleiss," Roxie said.

"I thought we could settle things without distraction," Van Kleiss said. "I figured here's as good a place as any."

"We already kicked your ass once today," Rex said. "Can we go again?"

"The question is 'are you?' It's hardly a fair fight."

"Is that so?" Roxie asked. "Then we promise we'll go easy on you."

Van Kleiss only smirked as Rex scoffed.

"What? You think we don't have our powers or something? We're about to give you the pounding of the century!"

Van Kleiss only shook his head. "Perhaps. But your friend is running out of time. You can save your friend or you can destroy me. You don't have time to do both."

The twins groaned as they turned around and hightailed it after their friend.

"Come on, powers! Please come back!" Roxie shouted.

The twins ran until they came into an area with the train rails leading to five different tunnels. They gave a grin to each other as Roxie pulled the lever, which led the rails to the fifth tunnel, which they ran down before hiding in a safe spot as the subway ran past them.

Soon, they spotted Van Kleiss approaching them while scraping his gauntlet claws against the wall a la Freddy Krueger, letting out a loud screeching sound.

But the twins were not deterred by this as they suddenly separated and leaped out of the way as a flash of light shined upon Van Kleiss and he let out a terrified shout as he was suddenly hit full force by the approaching subway train.

The twins recovered with a groan as they stood up, only to suddenly be confronted by Van Kleiss as he approached from the other side.

"Seriously, dude!" Roxie shouted as their archnemesis backed them up into a wall. "Don't you have anything better to do with your life than stalk us all the time?!"

"Funny you should ask," Van Kleiss said to the dynamic duo as he stretched his gauntlet forwards...

...and was then surprised as the EVO Noah appeared from the shadows and chomped down on his gauntlet, causing him to scream in pain as the twins' mutated best friend/crush shook Van Kleiss around like a rag doll, slamming him into the walls and ground several times.

"Okay, Doc," Rex said. "How are those biometrics looking now?"

"Give it a try."

The twins gave each other a fist bump as they closed their eyes and focused on the developing blueprints in their heads, focusing as they built up their new machines and were immediately exhilerated by the results.

"Oh, hell yeah!" Rex shouted as he built two giant metallic nunchucks from his arms and spun them around rapidly before slamming them into the ground. "It's about time!"

"No kidding!" Roxie shouted as she built up a giant ball and chain with several giant spines attached to the ball as she grabbed the chain and spun the giant ball around with no effort as she smiled.

The twins then tossed their new weapons forwards, striking Van Kleiss at full force, painfully sending him flying back into the active train tracks. The duo's eyes glowed white as they felt their Master Control nanites flare to life as they grinned wickedly as they spun their weapons rapidly and sent out two blue energy waves that sent Van Kleiss flying even further back.

"Machines work," Rex said as he and Roxie deactivated their builds and approached Noah. "Now let's just hope the important part does."

The twins placed their hands onto Noah and activated their nanites, instantly absorbing the active ones and Noah almost instantly reverted back to his human form as he gave a groan of exhaustion as he fell into Roxie's arms.

"What just happened?"

"Do you remember anything, Noah?" Roxie asked.

"It's all kind of hazy, Roxie. I mostly remember the feeling of... fun."

"Oh," Rex said.

"...And I remember you punching me in the face."

"Yeah, sorry about that," Roxie said with a furious blush rising to her cheeks. "I thought you were trying to eat us."

The sound of departing footsteps caught the trio's attention as they all turned to each other.

"Come on, Noah! We've got a rat to catch!" Rex shouted as they ran back down the tunnel they came from.

Van Kleiss exited the tunnel, only to have another light flash onto him and he was confronted by a wall of Providence agents headed by Six and Bobo. But much to their surprise, a smirk cross his face.

"Uh, why so happy?" Roxie asked as she and the others approached as Roxie skidded her roller blades to a stop. "Let me guess. This is the part where Breach shows up and rescues you?"

"Not this time, actually. This is the part where she takes your inadequately guarded power core."

"Six to post, what's your status?" Six asked as he pressed his comm link, only to receive no response as Breach had already taken out all the guards. "Six to post!"

A portal appeared over the power core and sent it straight to Abysus.

"Another decoy?" a stunned Rex asked.

"I should share some of the credit with your friend here. He played his part to perfection."

"Gee, thanks."

That was when a swirling red portal appeared behind Van Kleiss as he grinned wickedly.

"Now this would be the part where Breach shows up."

The twins dove forwards with a shout, but were too late as Van Kleiss slipped form their reach yet again.

"Dang it! We almost had it!"

Noah stared at the destroyed city as he and the twins walked through it.

"I did all this? Sounds like I had the time of my life."

"It almost became your life," Rex said.

"Sorry about that," Roxie chuckled.

"Are you kidding? Just knowing I was a rampaging EVO was cool. I just wish I could remember some of it."

"It's probably all over the news if you want a replay," Roxie chuckled. "Or at least it was until you stepped on the news van."

The trio chuckled as Diane glared at them and they ran behind an alleyway before breathing heavily... and laughing heavily.

"Guess it's back to quadratic equations," Noah said.

"We have no idea what those are," Rex chuckled before he built up his Rex Ride as Roxie rolled her eyes and summoned her bike.

"We got our own place to be," Roxie said. "See you later."

Six arrived at the training room in Providence Headquarters (still under construction) to see the twins already at work inside, struggling to come up with a new build.

"We know, Six. We're not supposed to be here," Roxie said.

"But we don't care if this is a construction zone," Rex insisted. "We're moving back."

"It's alright," Six said. "Turns out, you're not the only ones who feel that way."

Everyone turned to see Holiday waving at them through the window as they smiled.

"You'll get used to the cold showers. Food-wise, you're on your own," Six said. "From the top?"

"From the top," the twins chorused as Holiday gave a thumbs up and Rex and Roxie started trying to build something.

"What were you guys trying to build anyway?" Six asked.

"Water jets," Rex said. "By the way, we need new cell phones."

That was when Six's phone rang, to which he answered.

"Hello?"

"It's after my glasses again!" the old woman from the previous nigth exclaimed on the other end.

"Glasses."

"This time, I'm serious! When are you gonna send someone out here-"

"Ma'am, I'm-" Six said, not noticing the twins tiptoeing out the door with mischievous smiles on their faces.

"Do you even work for Providence?"

"Yes, I work for Providence," Six said. "How did you even get this number?"
