The new chapter is finally here, I hope you all enjoy the matchups I prepared for you all. With that said, lets get this show on the road.

UA SPORTS FESTIVAL

ON THE RACE TRACK

(THIRD PERSON POV)

Now that all the remaining eliminated teams were moved out of the arena and sent to the nurse's office to get their injures treated. The ones that passed had injuries as well, they were only a few scrapes and bruises when compared to the injuries the losers took. Granted they still had to spend fifteen minutes getting checked over by Recovery Girl before they returned for the next announcements.

"All right young heroes, you sixteen teams that have made it to the final round of the tournament will now duke it out in the final round to show the world what you can do in a fight. The first round was to show how well you can get past dangerous obstacles to reach those in need of rescue." Midnight said getting a chorus of agreeing murmuring with her explanation of the first round. The extreme conditions of the racetrack were indeed reminiscent of real-life attacks and disasters… especially so once the three siblings altered them.

From the faux villains blocking their way, to the chasm that sometimes form as a result of earthquakes. Then from there they experienced the supposed to safer equivalent of walking up a narrow passage on a high mountain. Finally came the doors testing their intellect with the puzzles to try and weed out anyone reliant on brute force only.

"The second round was to see how well you can do under pressure, especially when there is a time limit against you." Midnight said pointing out how much the second event successfully stressed them all out. Indeed, the students and audience alike could not help but agree as both felt the timer strain their nerves.

"Now the final round will be team battles to show case teamwork between heroes when subduing villains. However, do not fear my oh so vigorous students, cause before you all go for your thirty-minute lunch break I will reveal who is fighting who in the first round!" She declared as the pairing showed who was to fight who. For some reason though it was taking longer than normal to place people, especially since she knows Nezu put four groups in very specific places. 'WHAT ARE THESE PAIRINGS?!' Midnight thought as she saw some of them be the complete opposite of what they had decided.

Needless to say, Midnight was not the only hero upset, fortunately for Nezu he had guests with him or else he would have screeched in absolute rage. Giving them his farewells for the rest of the afternoon he apologized for having to spend the rest of the event with the UA board of directors. The others took clear notice of his repressed rage, but decided not to discuss as they agreed after he left, that before the end of the sports festival or shortly after they would find out what had made him so upset. Nezu meanwhile told Power Loader and Aizawa to meet him in the computer room that controlled the roulette as well as the placements for the third round.

Fortunately for them, during the lunch break for those who passed and those who got eliminated but decided they did not want to participate there was a set of smaller mini games. Those eliminated in the first two rounds were welcome to play if they wanted to try and get some attention. Due to this no one would notice Aizawa missing, and no one would know yet that there was a problem.

Getting to the computer room the three immediately began searching it for any damages or compromises. Power Loader checked the actual physical computers, Aizawa checked the system digitally by running a diagnostic on it, and Nezu watched the door to make sure no one tried to listen in or peak at what they were doing. It took a good amount of time but eventually they found what they were looking for.

"I found this usb inserted into one of the computers, probably uploaded some sort of virus or malware." Power Loader said unable to check it since it seemed to be set to self-destruction after a certain time limit.

"It's definitely malware, someone used it to gain temporary control over the pairing system which is probably why it took so long to pair opponents like it did. Unfortunately, they already disconnected and it looks like they used a relay of different servers so I doubt we are going to be able to trace it." Aizawa said as angry as he was, glad that they could not do anymore damage. That being the case…

"Even if they cannot do anymore damage to the tournament, they already set up multiple disasters." Nezu said letting out a rarely seen or heard frustrated sigh. Though one of the matches he planned was respected, Maple was now set to fight Ibara Shiozaki in front of a worldwide audience. The very same fight that not just him, but the entire staff could tell was going to be one hell of a publicity mess, that was at least half of that of the UA attack.

Though unethical of them in a sense to try and get Todoroki to eliminate her immediately on the other end of the bracket away from Maple. It was better than her angering blood quirk users across the world by discriminating against a blood quirk user as well as any mutant quirk users who emphasize with people treating her like a monster. Also the very likely possibility she will make Maple snap and go berserk in the arena.

Then there was the fight between Tenya Ida and Himiko Toga that some genius decided to throw together, whether by accident or on purpose who knows. Luckily Ida has a partner that will be likely restrain him if he gets out of hand, Himiko however… well unlike Maple who had Momo, her partner was not so levelheaded. Granted she would still likely stop it from becoming a bloodbath, but unlike Momo Yaoyorozu, Pony Tsunotori was her opposite.

Granted she was still smarter than the average student, but unlike Momo who would be weary of keeping her partner in check from the beginning Pony would almost definitely not be doing that. So, it was possible it would be too late for the equine like young girl to do anything to stop Himiko, leaving it solely up to Midnight and Cementoss. Before this would be no issue, but now that Himiko has All Might quirk she maybe too powerful for either hero to stop if Tenya Ida causes her to snap.

UA SPORTS FESTIVAL

STADIUM CAFETERIA

(THIRD PERSON POV)

Though significantly smaller, at the moment of the thirty-minute break it is accessible only to the winners of round two, the staff, and a limited amount of pro heroes it was still big enough to feel a little spacious. Naturally everyone sat with their partners or other teams in some cases. A prime example of this was Maple and Pony who were both enjoying head pats from heir respective partners as they ate their favorite foods.

For Pony it was a small apple pie with a bit of whip topping on top of it, though it was a bit on the small side compared to the average apple pie. It was still a decent size for one person to eat as it could have easily be cut into six well sized slices. For Maple it was one her two mothers' favorite foods she had grown fond of, carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Well in Maple case it was a carrot cake meant for ten people to share, with a big slice for each person.

Though normal for Maple to eat such large amounts of food, Pony was actually the one eating a slightly larger than usual portion. Normally she would have only a little bigger than normal appetite than most girls her age due to how athletic she was and her metabolism. But due to nervousness she had ended up skipping out on breakfast today. Fortunately for her competing with Maple earlier managed to help her deal with her nervousness. This also made her realize how hungry she was and ended up a bit more at lunch as a result than she normally would.

Maple and Himiko had been promised to eat lunch with both their mothers but were told after the results were announced that they were suddenly busy. Even Maple could tell something was wrong but deciding that if they did not want to tell her she would not ask.

As for their little brother, he was eating lunch with Mei before she went to do final prep work on her gear. Then he was going to meet up with Mei's parents and check on Elizabeth before meeting up with his partner before their match to discuss strategy. They understood why he wanted to spend time with his… Girlfriend? Fiancée? Whatever it was that they were, not even Maple could come up with an idea for what it was and unorthodox thinking is her specialty.

Himiko and Momo on the other hand, were both currently in absolute bliss due to their current situation. Right now, they got to eat a delicious lunch while sight of the two most innocent bundles of joy they had ever met were currently soothing their otherwise worried hearts.

Lunch Rush, who normally would never allow it, actually asked one of his assistants helping him today to take a video and a few photos of the scene with her phone discreetly. He then sent them to Midnight and Mirko making them both jealous and gushing with joy at the same time at the sight.

Even Ibara Shiozaki, despite thinking Maple was currently being possessed and controlled by a demon almost was convinced the girl was a clumsy angel with a big appetite. Almost being the key word as the vine haired girl shook her head furiously to dispel such thoughts, fearing the demon was currently trying to tempt her into sin like Momo Yaoyorozu was right now.

BOARD MEMBER

MEETING ROOM

(THIRD PERSON POV)

Since today was a big day for them in terms of seeing what their target was really capable in a controlled environment almost all were gathered. As such all of the board members who could have been there to watch were there except for four in particular. These individuals had either other tasks of more importance to do, tasks they could not multitask alongside watching the festival, or was not necessary to make an assessment for her re-containment and were getting some rest.

One of them not there was the Finance Executive Juryoku who had dark circles under her eyes. Luckily for them their expertise was not needed to assess their target capabilities. Second on the list was the Legal Executive Chinmoku who was dealing with quite a few cases at the moment after the Mustafu wide attack that recently occurred. Third was the Information Executive Maindokonekuta, who was only ever pulled into a meeting if it was of the highest importance as her work was constant whenever she was awake.

Finally, was Hero Training Executive Gorira who was actually on sight with an assistant to do multiple plans, the first already a success. With the brackets now changed to their liking it will be much easier to launch the next plan, they just had to make sure they made use of the heroes they bribed in advance to let them through when it happens.

At first, they were all pleased with how Endeavour son showed off their ideals about how all a hero needs are a powerful quirk. They could even put up with Mina assisting him as they could simply get the public to focus more on her powerful acid than her mutation like how they did with the Ida family engine quirk.

What had them upset, the president especially was… "WHEN DID SHE GAIN AS MUCH POWER AS ALL MIGHT!" Madam President screamed as she stood up from her seat in shock. Obviously Nezu reported that when All For One stole her transformation ability he had accidentally given her a strength quirk. Even if it was a powerful one, it is plausible her body was capable of housing such a quirk. But even so she should still be experiencing significant backlash from getting a quirk this powerful.

So, the only logical conclusion was that she was born with it and kept it a secret, but why would her parents never bring her to them? A transformation ability and super strength on par with All Might would have made her a perfect bargaining chip for them to strike a deal with them.

"Let usssss think about thisssss logically, the measssssurement devicesssss our dronesssss ussssse to measssssure energy output of a quirk determined that her quirk readingsssss are equal to All Might. Though it isssss posssssible that thisssss isssss a mere coincidence of nature, a genetic fluke per usual though I ssssstill doubt thisssss to be the cassssse." Security Executive Hebi said as he figured the others should be able to understand what the answer was without telling them.

"Are you saying All Might was a naughty boy and had a daughter without knowing? If so, then when do you suggest that he found out? Cause I highly doubt he just discovered this, or UA staff did not know of this as she would have needed to ask to use their facilities to train such a powerful quirk safely." Public Relations Executive Nattoku said as always unconsciously sticking to his basic training of asking a question and answering his own to control the conversation.

Hebi had to hold back a tsk at this behavior that he hated from them as they could never turn off that showman attitude of his he gives the reporters. How the president ever tolerated it was a mystery to him that he doubts he would ever come to understand.

"More or lesssss, her being hisssss biological daughter would alssssso better anssssswer why ssssshe risssssked her life to sssssave him like ssssshe did asssss well asssss why ssssshe would be asssss strong asssss him. Though asssss far asssss I can tell there isssss no connection between All Might and the Toga family, little lone her mother." He said annoyed that they made him actually explain such an obvious answer for them.

Sensing their stress the president herself clapped her hands together two times getting their attention. "It is a possibility and does explain why we never found out till now. We will make sure to collect a dna sample from them both at a later date to confirm this, in the mean time we will look into her mothers past to see if she had ever met him before Himiko Toga was born." Madam President said getting them all to nod along with her plan calming them down. Letting out a sigh of relief they had calmed down she was still unable to hide how annoyed she was at this development.

"Looks like we may have lost the chance to get a female All Might under our control… but for now we need to focus on who we can get." She said as they paid close attention to their main target as he was decimating the racecourse.

"Moving on from Himiko Toga, her adopted brother is another matter unto itself, we must make sure to welcome him to his new home soon." Building Maintenance Executive Otetsudai said calmly as she smiled at the sight of him taking out those other students. It was clear for them all to see his power rivaled that of the number two hero son, something that made containing him a daunting but still more doable task than containing Maple.

All that were present, despite UA preventing them from confirming this by covering up some details, knew for a fact he looked just like the ice bird that attacked UA. Theorizing that it started out much smaller when Maple first escaped the lab and mutated to its giant size before being captured by All For One. So they came up with a back up plan. If Maple was out of their reach, then perhaps her brother could yield the answers they needed instead? But it still raised the question of how he obtained that power, perhaps he escaped at a much younger age than Maple.

"I have checked hisssss file and it sssssaid that he was born at home not in a hospital due to hisssss mother requessssst. The date linesssss up with when the previousssss enhanced quirk project the previousssss presssssident did. It could be that the large bird that attacked them wasssss once human before they became a mindlesssss beassssst over the yearsssss." Hebi said as his records showed he was quirkless, and the information checked out to be unaltered.

"So, you are telling me that Inko Midoriya not only came across a baby that escaped a lab nearly sixteen years ago but secretly adopted them as well?" Otetsudai asked in obvious sarcasm at how impossible it sounded.

"Actually, it is possible as the previous president started a project a few years before that where they would take children from orphanages or babies mothers gave away for adoption and try to permanently enhance their latent quirks at a genetic level. A few escaped due to traitors among the scientists but all confirmed to be dead except a few who they assumed died but could never find their bodies. It is possible that she used quirk suppressant drugs to keep his true powers under wraps till he was older as many of the babies manifested their quirks right away due to the experiments. I believe her records said she was a nurse before she suddenly got married and quit, I believe it was just five months before Izuku Midoriya was born." Madam President said giving a long but necessary explanation as to why he suggested such a thing as she recruited all of the board members after she took over.

So very few knew of this as only Hebi and Gorira ever asked her where their original quirk genealogy knowledge came from before they started this current project about fifteen years ago. But due to the other one quickly being deemed a failure due to the multiple escapes it was stopped a few years before this one started with naturally better security measures in place. As a former board member herself she knew firsthand how bad it was, as a result for a little over two decades now the HPSC had been conducting human experiments.

"Does he not have a father registered on his birth certificate; I don't see why we cannot simply track him down to confirm this." She responded back to her president and Hebi as she then turned her focus to just Hebi expecting an explanation.

"We have looked into hisssss father, but that isssss where thingsssss are odd. Hisssss background isssss thorough and boring enough that we can sssssay he is absssssolutely not fake, but then he sssssuddenly dropped off the face of the earth the moment Inko Midoriya was declared dead. Hisssss wife background wasssss more or lesssss the sssssame, ssssso boring and clean it ssssseemed imposssssible for them to be no more than the average citizen. All of hisssss accounts froze asssss well, as if there was sssssome sssssort of sssssafety measssssure in place to try and make him disappear if anything ever happened to hisssss wife account being closed. And don't get me ssssstarted on how odd it isssss that even though they were married they have two completely ssssseparate accountsssss." Hebi said sighing in frustration at the memory of how no matter how many times they tried, Maindokonekuta said that was all she could get on the man. It was as if he existed to simply support this Inko women and marry her.

"So basically, this is how the story goes snake boy." Nattoku said enjoying the twitch of Hebi left eye at this jab he took at them. "Inko Midoriya was a nurse who just one day came across Izuku Midoriya half a year before she quit. Probably took the identification from a random dead businessman she found or bought his identity from someone just as likely. Did a fake marriage while paying someone to play the part of her husband when she signed the papers. And then pretended she had gotten pregnant before she got married, leaving her job when it is believable no one would see a baby bump. And starting a business that her fake husband could run while she actually ran the damn thing while taking care of a baby. Then using her medical connections to illegally obtain quirk suppressants drugs for the baby. All while another baby or child with a similar quirk or possibly their sibling was experimented on and became the giant ice bird we saw recently. Does that sum it up?" he said as they all nodded. After looking at the information when Hebi put it on the screen it made sense on how he got that quirked animal powers out of nowhere.

"If that is the case then if we capture him, he can help us advance our multi quirk research once we get the new lab set up. As the only successful test subject that we know of he can give more information on the natural limiters on quirks that had been holding back the previous scientists. Perhaps allowing us to figure out how to successfully endow multiple quirks onto people successfully like we managed with Maple, not needing us to take the risk of capturing and containing her in the first place." Madam President said as both Nattoku and Otetsudai now understood why Hebi and Gorira said before the sports festival began that they needed to get the boy as soon as possible for research. And here they thought he was just going to be used as leverage for when they captured Maple.

Fortunately, he was just a support course student not a hero course student, so they should be able to capture him easily is what they all were thinking. They decided it was safest to capture the boy after his sister's battle that would most likely cause a massive disaster. To ensure that they made sure she fought that religious vine haired girl who was known by them to be an extreme hater of Maple.

Between his exhaustion from beating or losing to whoever he fought, as well as his worry for his sister's safety. Since he was in the support course, they assumed Mirko gave up on training him as she deemed him too weak, so they figured he should tire out quickly in the final fighting round. He will not only be at his most vulnerable but also at his least focused so more likely to be caught off guard.

Though they may need to kidnap his partner as well to be on the safe side, but no one will miss one measly mutant with transformative properties. If they are lucky, then just maybe they could convince the boy help them by selling out his partner to them for a high hero ranking when he graduates if he agrees to lie to UA to throw them off the trail.

However, as they were having this discussion the results for the first event finally came… and needless to say they were not happy to see so many support course students rank higher than hero students. This was not what they expected to occur, or rather in their opinions this was not what should be happening. Seeing the less then physically strong hero students who had support quirks come near the end of the pack. Yet despite having so much leeway in terms of passing spots they still managed to let the support course students surpass them? It seemed that Nezu may have been too soft on them, either that or too generous to the support course students.

Perhaps they could use this chance as proof to force him to cut down the general education course by pointing out how he should clearly be putting more focus into the hero course. This would be based on some of the students' poor performances when compared to the non-hero course students. The irony of it by threatening to force him to divert the funding for the support course to the hero course as a result of this would be too good of a blow for them not to deal to him. But that was secondary, their first goal throughout this competition was grabbing Izuku Midoriya or if the heavens bless them to grab Maple as well.

"With the topic of how to get a test subject to examine under our control, I say we move on to our discussion from before the attack on Mustafu." The President herself said aloud getting a few disgruntled looks and murmurs from the others. Well, this was no surprise as last time they asked him, he said he refused to let them have his son 'breed' with Maple. It seemed that he was offended when they suggested as he interpreted it as them saying his 'ultimate creation' needed more improvement.

"If we want to be able to secure Maple than getting his help by convincing him he needs her to complete his pet project of creating a hero to surpass All Might will be of great help towards that goal." She told them, as when they got wind of his idea through the rumors among the press outlets he sued into the ground for other matters, they liked the idea he had. So, they helped to squash the rumors at first or any bad PR that came his way since his goals also aligned with their goals. Fortunately for the other board members, with the second round now over the first fight was about to start and this was one they wanted to watch very closely.

LEAGUE OF VILLAINS BAR

(THIRD PERSON POV)

Kurogiri was currently enjoying a spiced whisky on the rocks, this particular one more to Bakugo spicy loving pallet. It was not a drink the misty bartender would have drunk himself before, but meeting the young man has expanded his palate a bit. As for the others with them there were the usual two ladies with them along with his young master Tomura. Though he still felt like she would stab him right through his chest at any moment, his master insisted that it was safe for now so long as he stayed hidden.

It also did not help that his young master had a crush on the brown-haired girl beside him. Though his attempts to steal an indirect kiss when thwarted by Iz flicking peanuts at least help to keep him safe from the brown-haired maniac. Though for some reason she seemed more distant than usual since the attack. Perhaps she is not as far gone as Tomura if it is her guilt from hurting her friend that was messing with her. However, such thoughts were suddenly drowned out by the screaming of the young blond.

Izuku however really surprised them all, Bakugo even more so as he saw them suddenly use a quirk. "HOW THE HELL IS THAT QUIRKLESS NERD USING A QUIRK!" Bakugo shouted before Iz, tugging on his sleeve slightly, giving him a slight nod while Kurogiri was watching the screen. This was to indicate that she saw the flow of energy that she sees when Sally MP goes down.

Though it was clear to Bakugo she was clearly just as confused as he was to see this sight, even though she understood immediately what was happening. It looks like they had things to discuss later, and some stuff to figure out.

"He was quirkless… I wonder if the HPSC had a hand in him getting a quirk?" Kurogiri mused as he swished his drink around.

"They had to, there is no way sensei would forget giving away such a powerful quirk. Those damn HPSC hypocrites always say not to do something only to do it themselves… I should kill them right after All Might." Tomura mumbled as he scratched his neck, annoyed at this sight.

Sally however was as shocked as Iz since she did not recall Izuku from the game. Based on Bakugo statement it was clear he knew them, which made her question how someone from this world could get skills like them all the more pressing.

However, she knew well enough to keep quiet about it for now, so as not to give away potentially dangerous information. "I agree, either get good at the game or quit playing it." Sally said to agree with Tomura that if they had to cheat to win against them then they should stop trying and accept defeat. This idea to keep this kind of information secret from him from was to avoid him doing any critical thinking on it. Lucky for her the action picked up giving them more to discuss. Thus, they dropped the topic and moved on to another.

"What an idiot, insulting the mutant quirk users and other major transformation types." Tomura said in disgust, not out of any sort of empathy for said quirk users, Kurogiri knew much better. It was rather that he was disgusted by the fact that heroes could just go around saying such things and still get praised in the end. Sally on the other hand was practically fuming at the tv when he started insulting Maple. Fortunately for all there, Iz managed to calm her down with a simple head pat after walking over.

"So Misty, what is your take on the loudmouth?" Bakugo asked the bartender/butler for the hand freak they served under. It was a while since he had actually seen him since ever since the attack on UA as Bakugo had begun living with Sally and Iz. It surprised the explosive young man but saying that she saw him focus on helping her instead of trying to get his revenge made her trust him. Granted it was still difficult learning to live with two girls instead of two guys, but it was definitely a lot less threat filled then when he was living with Tomura and Kurogiri.

Kurogiri was used to his bait of giving obvious nicknames to the people around him, after all it was much more tolerable than Tomura habits. If anything, it felt familiar to him somehow, as if he knew someone who did the same thing. Technically Tomura did the same thing himself fairly often, but the way he did it implied no respect at all. With Bakugo it felt more like he was trying to be less formal with people around, well this wouldn't be the first semi obnoxious blond he had to live with… not the first? That was odd, for as long as he could remember he always served Tomura and their shared master All For One. So, when or where did he meet a blond that held similar personality traits with Bakugo before now?

"Hey you in there?" Bakugo said waving his hand before Kurogiri face.

Realizing he had spaced out he shook of the stray thoughts and answered his earlier question. "My apologies I was studying her tactics so as to better plan a way to capture her next time." He said lying to them as he knew All For One was overhearing this right now.

"Hate to break it to you but her thought process is as random as Deku is, so I doubt we are going to learn anything useful. So back to the blond loudmouth, what do you think of him?" Bakugo asked him, deciding it was better to leave it up to Sally and Iz to figure out how to capture Maple.

"I doubt Nezu will let those comments go unpunished." Kurogiri said as they continued to watch in silence between the two of them with a few comments from Tomura and Sally every so often. Then the second event was revealed, and it was quite the shock at how intense they made it.

"The fact that Mirko is suddenly replacing Present Mic just proved my earlier point, and as always the public chooses to be willfully ignorant rather than question it." Kurogiri said for one of the very few moments agreeing with Tomura. 'How far you have fallen since we last saw each other.' He thought to himself before questioning if they had ever even met before.
