A/N: I'm back! This past year has been kind of crazy and rough for me, and I couldn't find the motivation to continue. I hopped on here one day and read all of your amazing reviews asking me to continue the story. Knowing that people were actually relying on me to do something really boosted my spirits and gave me much needed motivation! Thanks for being patient with me! Love you guys xoxo

Just an FYI real quick about the chapter... I know absolutely nothing about hacking or computers. I definitely made a lot of things up for the sake of the story. My information is more than likely wrong, but please be kind and let your imagination run wild with this?

Previously: Daisy Johnson hacked the Avengers database to delete a file. Meanwhile in the Tower, Tony Stark realized what happened and was trying to recover the file to find out who hacked him.

Daisy stopped outside the doors of Avengers Tower. She was wearing black leggings and a knitted sweater that, thankfully, covered her bruised arm. It was still very painful to move, though she felt oddly normal despite everything that was going on. She was about to walk into tower as though she'd been working there for months. She needed to get into the Avengers mainframe even though there was a chance that things could go wrong. Tony Stark may have been arrogant, but he was smart enough to at least separate his Shield's files from his main database. The only way to gain access was directly through the computer in Stark's lab. It was genius.

Her plan was simple... kind of. When she had hacked the tower a couple of days ago in that coffee shop, she inserted herself into Tony's employee database. She needed a distraction before she could add herself as an employee; that's why she deleted her Hydra file. Daisy's file didn't have much information on it because Hydra couldn't afford for her status to get leaked. It was a minor task, but she knew it would keep the Avengers occupied for a little bit. Besides, she was now officially an employee of the Cyber Security Division in Stark Industries. She would have direct access to a Stark issued computer and her clearance wasn't high enough to induce suspicion.

Daisy takes a short breath to compose herself before walking through the doors and into the building. She walked up to the receptionist with a faux worried look plastered on her face and watery eyes.

"Hello there! Welcome to Avengers Tower. How may I help you today?" Asked the woman at the desk. When she noticed Daisy's worried look she was quick to ask, "Is everything alright?"

Daisy sniffled before responding. "I'm so sorry, but I started a couple months ago and I can't find my badge anywhere! I know we were told not to lose them, but I'm already running late and I can't afford to lose this job. My husband is unable to work so I'm the one that has to pay all of our bills. I'm not used to working like this. I wanted to be a stay at home mom!" The receptionist was starting to feel uncomfortable so Daisy kept rambling on. "This is the only place that would hire me after the incident. I looked- I looked everywhere for the badge this morning and then I realized that I was running late for my shift! I live all the way across town and that only made it worse. My husband will kill me if I lose this job. I'm the only one to—"

"Hey, hey, calm down. It's okay. We'll get you a new badge printed and get you back on your way! What's your name and in what division are you?"

"My name is Skylar Evenson. I've been working in the Cyber Security Division for a little over two months."

The receptionist hummed as she began to type. "Skylar Evenson? I'm not seeing your profile— Oh, here it is!" She printed out a new badge and attached it to a lanyard. "I canceled your old profile and uploaded the information onto this new badge. The old one will be inactive if you find it. And please do not lose this one! You can get in a lot of trouble with the head of security"

The woman handed Daisy the new lanyard and Daisy put it on.

"Thank you so much!" Daisy responded. "I'm so sorry for the trouble I caused you!"

The receptionist gave Daisy a soft smile. "It was no problem at all hon. Just be a bit more careful please. I wouldn't want you to get in trouble. Now, you know the rules. Lanyard visible at all times, no using a security badge that isn't issued to you, and you must stop here before you can bring guests any further into the building. Have a good day at work!"

Daisy gave her a grateful smile and walked through the security scanner to the elevators.

...

The doors slid open and Daisy exited on the central floor of Cyber Security. She confidently walked over to an empty computer with a determined look that kept anyone from asking her questions, takes a set, and gets to work.

Daisy needed to get onto the Avenger's floor without being found out. It was impossible to remotely take full control of security through Jarvis without him sending some sort of an alert to Stark. That's why it was so important to gain access to a system connected directly to the AI. Daisy was now able to override Jarvis's coding without anyone knowing, thanks to this wonderful Stark computer. She really needed to get herself one of these.

When she was well over halfway finished, which took about fifteen minutes (Stark really needed to up his security), Daisy was interrupted by a "coworker."

"Hey baby." Daisy heard behind her. "You new here?"

She continued her hack and didn't deem the voice worthy of a response.

"I can show you around if you'd like," they continued.

In and out. Daisy thought to herself. Just get the job done and get out of here.

As it seemed, the man behind the voice was not happy with her lack of response. He reached over her shoulder to turn off the computer so he would have her attention, but Daisy realized what he was doing. She quickly grabbed his wrist, stood up, and twisted his arm behind his back in one fluid motion— like she had done to Ward a few days before. Daisy realized that the floor was empty because everyone was at lunch, which explained the man's sudden actions.

He grunted at the unexpected reaction. Daisy leaned forward and whispered something into his ear then shoved him away. The man scurried out of the room like a terrified rodent with no intention to return. Daisy smirked and sat back down to complete her hack. She glanced at the clock to see that she was still perfectly on schedule.

The hack was complete well before everyone's lunch break was over. The best part about being in the tower that she was hacking was that Jarvis was still fully functional, but Daisy— in a roundabout way— made herself the AI's best friend. And now Jarvis couldn't tattletale. Daisy transferred the codes onto her personal laptop and grabbed one of the extra hard drives that the CSD staff have access to.

You know.

For fancy computer stuff.

Shoving the extra drive in her bra and holding her open laptop, Daisy walked to the elevator. She was using the computer to talk to Stark's AI, Jarvis, without having to actually speak to him and risk someone hearing.

If she was being honest with herself, Daisy didn't think she would make it this far into her plan. From here on out she would officially be winging it. Then again, if she was being completely honest with herself, she'd been winging it this entire time.

Daisy stepped onto the elevator and waited for the doors to slide closed. After a few seconds of typing, she had pulled up the security footage of the Avenger's private floors. She double checked that Stark's lab was indeed empty before having Jarvis move the elevator towards that floor. While she slowly ascended, Daisy scoured the footage for the heroes.

"It's too easy," she smirked as she found them. Every one of the Avengers was training in the gym two floors above the labs. All of the Avengers that were currently at the tower anyway.

Talk about perfect timing.

The elevator finally slows to a stop on the floor holding the private labs. When Daisy steps off, she finds herself in a common area with a small private bar. She walks over and helps herself to a drink before walking down the hallway towards her destination. Daisy reaches door to the main lab and uses her connection with Jarvis to unlock the door without issues. She hooks her computer up to Stark's holotable.

When Loki first came to earth to reek havoc, Stark gained access to SHIELD's encrypted files which in turn gave him access to Hydra's files. Daisy's plan was to download the SHIELD and Hydra files onto the drive and then get out of there. She couldn't take down Hydra's online activity without having direct access to their server room, which she knows exactly where it is thanks to her previous occupation. And she needed to create a virus to take it down automatically, hence, stealing the files in the first place.

Daisy was going to take down the organization that put her through so much pain.

A/N: And there it is! The next chapter will bring in different perspectives again. Will the Avengers catch our beloved Daisy and thwart her plans or will Daisy have a chance to get the revenge she's longing for? And how does Fitz play into this? I guess you'll have to wait to find out! Thank you for reading this chapter, I hope you enjoyed it!
