Luffy smiled wildly as he ran across the grassy mountain top, suddenly a black blur zipped past him revealing a grinning Naruto, Luffy's smile grew as he sped up running alongside his friend as they jumped off the cliff holding out their hands as the deep blue sea stood over them. As if sensing an adventure, Zorro, Nami, Ussop, and Sanji turned towards the direction of the east.

Luffy jumped into the air rearing back his fist, his hand gripped the the crows nest of of the main sail of the Going Merry as he pulled himself towards the ship with a massive grin on his face. Naruto teleported across the ocean kicking up ward as he ran towards the Going Merry jumping into the air with a wide toothy grin.
The title shoots forward in front of a massive map.

The Going Merry sails through the every wide and expanding east blew, Sea Kings, massive fish, and various other sea creatures shoot up from the water creating large creating massive waves splashes the shook the ship. The Straw Hat crew looked on with amazement as Luffy hung from upside down from the deck of the ship.
The ship swam across the map jumping, and splashing along the way .

Naruto drew his katana running across the ship slashing with jet black strikes, he jumped into the air switching his weapon to a kusanagi swinging it downwards.
Zorro was surrounded on all sides by enemy pirates and with one swing of his swords blew them all away. Ussop took aim with his sling shot firing his an egg hitting one man in the face before Nami struck him in the back of the head with an iron pipe smirking. Sanji did a handstand kicking around his feet knocking away the other enemy pirates.

A red eyed sea king rushed through the water opening it's jaws but Luffy simply grinned rearing his fist back and smashing it hard into the Sea Kings right cheek knocking it out cold. Naruto and Luffy land back to back on the ship's deck looking at each other as they grin before looking up at the horizon.

Above them were the images of Alvida, Buggy, Kuro, Kreig, Smoker, and a cloaked man above them were the silhouettes of seven unknown figures dressed in long cloakes with glowing red eyes, and above them were four large figures. One looked down at Naruto grinning at it reached downard at him causing Naruto to roar jumping into the air swinging at punch at them.

Luffy spun his straw hat around on his finger tips while Naruto looked at the Uzumaki clan tattoo on his shoulder. As they did Shanks appeared in a world of pure light with the straw hat on his head giving a grin as Uta jumped into the air with her arms raised and a smile on her face before turning away as they other red haired pirates Ben, Yassop, and Lucky, Minato appeared next with his arm around Kushina's waist both smiling as he followed behind the Red Haired pirates.

(Kitchen of the Baratie)
Inside the kitchen of the Baratie, Zeff was watching his two newest workers, as they washed and stacked the dishes.
"Oh man, I'm so hungry. When do we get to eat?" Luffy asked with a groan, as he washed a plate, before drying it and placed it on the stack.
"Hey, you're the one who pulled that treasure tab baloney" Naruto said, as he washed a pot.
"Why aren't you hungry? We have been at it for hours" Luffy whined childishly, as he continued to work.
"My training as a shinobi has trained me to survive on every meal, as long as I can" Naruto said firmly.
"Oi whiskers, what happened to this pot of ramen?!" Patty yelled, as he held up an empty pot that was on the stove.
"No idea" Naruto said with a shrug, as he looked to the side, showing a stain on his cheek.
Zeff's eyebrow twitched at this, while Sanji who was nearby, was snickering at this as he lit a new cigarette.
(The bar outside)
Naruto was kicked by Zeff through the door, leading outside to the bar area outside.
"Oi! That's abuse! I want my union rep!" Naruto yelled, as he held his head in pain, while Zeff came out of the kitchen.
"Just help serve drinks out there, before I have you gutted and stuffed, then mounted on the wall!" Zeff yelled after Naruto, before he went back into the kitchen.
Naruto grumbled under his breath at this, before he stood up and walked towards the bar to report for duty.
"Ah break waiter, eh? Well, the job is simple; you ask what they want to drink and you come tell me. You do a good enough job, and you might get some tips" the bartender said, as he looked at Naruto and handed him a notepad and pen.
"Yea yea, I'm on it" Naruto said, as he walked away from the bartender to go take some drink orders.
"Hey waiter!" a familiar female voice yelled out, getting Naruto's attention.
Naruto looked at where he heard this, and paused as he spotted Zoro, Nami and Usopp sitting at a booth with some drinks. Zoro and Nami were drinking some beers, while Usopp was drinking from what looked like a really big glass, along with Kurama, from his own straw.
"Oh great, this is just what I need," Naruto said, as he approached the booth where his friends were sitting.
"Hey whiskers, I thought that you were doing dishes" Nami said with a teasing smile, as she had her chin on her hand, with her elbow on the table.
"I was, but the one legendary grouch threw me out here to work the bar," Naruto said.
"And let me guess, you stole some ramen and he didn't like that," Zoro said with a grin, as he saw the crumbs on Naruto's face.
"Damn it! I thought that I got rid of the evidence" Naruto said, as he wiped his face.
"Oi, are you gonna take my order, or what? Me and my buddy Kurama want a fresh drink" Usopp said as he held up his glass to Naruto, as he smiled while Kurama snickered.
Naruto's eyebrow twitched at this, before he forced a smile on his face. "Right away sir" he said through gritted teeth, before he took the glass and walked towards the bar.
"What's your buddy want?" the bartender asked, as Naruto handed him the glass.
Naruto paused at this, as he didn't know what Usopp wanted, before he smiled as an idea for a prank hit him. "Give him something sweet, but very heavy on alcohol," he said.
The bartender rose an eyebrow at this, before he shrugged and started to make the drink.
(Minutes later)
Minutes later, Usopp and Kurama were both happily drinking their drink through their straws.
"Pace yourself, Usopp" Zoro said, as he shook his head at this.
"Mmmm, this tastes just like candy," Usopp said as he smiled, before he went back to drinking.
"The last time I said that, I woke up face down under a table," Zoro said with a chuckle.
"Hey waiter! We need another one over here!" Usopp yelled at Naruto, as he finished his drink, before waving the glass in the air.
"I'm already on it, sir," Naruto said with a grin, as he approached with a tray of drinks for Usopp and Kurama, before he placed them at a separate table.
"Whoooo!!!" Usopp yelled, before he and Kurama both grabbed a drink, and started to drink like they were possessed, getting cheers from the other people at the bar, including Johnny and Yosaku
"And so it begins" Naruto said with a grin, as he could already tell the drink he chose for Usopp and Kurama was already getting to them.
"Hey waiter, we need another one over here!" Usopp hollered waving his hand in the air, as the waiter brought down another mug, Kurama sniffed it, licking his lips before diving in, while Usopp chugged his down
"Boy, that sure hit the spot!" Usopp said, wiping his lips. "Waiter, let's get another round over here!" he said, banging his hand on the counter, as the waiter brought over two more mugs, and just as they did with the first, the pair quickly chugged down their drinks, staining the waiter with suds and foam.
"Oh Mr. Waiter, two more please!" Usopp said, foam over his mouth and a mug resting on Kurama's head, as the next four slid over to them, as they whooped in celebration, chugging them down again, and covering more than half the waiter's face in foam from the drink.
"Waiter~" Usopp waved over, as the aftermath of the duo's ravenous drinking covered the waiter from head to toe in white foam suds.
"Oh waiter!" Usopp wagged his finger, as Kurama chugged a glass down using his paws.
"Waiter!" Usopp sang out, as he now had three mugs in his hand, while Kurama had three resting on his snout and his ears .
"Waiiitooor!" Usopp slurred, his arm around Kurama, both of them having goofy toothed grins.
"Waiter!" Usopp slammed his hand down on the counter, shaking a stack of mugs balanced on a spoon, as he and Kurama held death glares and blood shot eyes.
"Why do I always get the nuts?" the waiter said with a sigh, filling up another mug.
"Alright folks! This one goes out to my two bestest friends in the whole world!" Usopp exclaimed, standing on the centre stage, his arm around a Kurama and Patty "Kurama! And this big chef guy! It's a little ditty called...waaaaiiiiitttttooooor!" he sang, as Kurama howled loudly, before falling to the ground, getting laughs from the crowd, Naruto, Zoro and Nami.
"I saw what you did, whiskers," Nami said with a knowing grin, as Naruto sat down in Usopp's seat.
"What are you talking about?" Naruto asked innocently.
"Oh please, Usopp didn't tell you what drink he wanted, so you gave him something heavy in alcohol to make him and Kurama look like fools" Nami said as she chuckled.
"Well, in my defence, it probably wouldn't take much to get this result," Naruto said, as he pointed at the stage where usopp and Kurama were now passed out sleeping
"Yeah. Well, just make sure they don't end up hurt" Zoro said, as he shook his head at this.
"Yea, we don't need any more trouble. I don't need any heat from the marines, when I'm so close" Nami muttered under her breath.
"What do you mean?" Naruto asked curiously, as he raised an eyebrow at this.
Nami said nothing to this, before she got up. "How about I buy the next round of drinks?" she said, as she walked away from the table.
"She's hiding something" Zoro said with narrowed eyes, as he watched Nami walk over to the bar.
"Well duh, but we all have our secrets," Naruto said, as he shrugged.
"You would know, right. What's that stuff Buggy was saying about you being from Wano?" Zoro asked.
Naruto said nothing to this, as Nami returned with a bottle of whiskey and some shot glasses.
"Hmmm. Ok, I'll tell you what; let's all play a game. We each guess something about each other, and if we get it wrong, we drink" Zoro said.
"Fair enough. I bet you didn't have any friends growing up" Nami said, as she looked at Zoro.
"I had a friend," Zoro said firmly.
"Swords don't count as friends," Naruto said with a smirk.
"I had a friend, but she died," Zoro said even more firmly.
Naruto winced at this, before he took a shot and drank it along with Nami.
"Ok, my turn. I'm gonna guess that you grew up in a big city, running small-time scams" Zoro said, as he looked at Nami.
"Actually, I lived in a small village in the middle of a tangerine grove," Nami said, as she smiled a little, as she reminisced a bit.
"Are you kidding? Humble beginnings? You?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm afraid so whiskers, now drink" she said, as she pointed at the shot glasses.
Naruto grumbled, as he took a shot along with Zoro.
"Ok, your turn. I'm gonna guess that you ran away from this Wano place, cause you wanted to go on an adventure or something" Nami said, as she looked at Naruto.
Naruto scowled at this and shook his head. "I didn't leave by choice," he said with a firm tone.
"What happened?" Zoro asked curiously.
"My home was taken over by a monster and my parents fought him, giving my grandpa time to escape with me," Naruto said, deciding to give them some basic information.
Nami gripped her glass tightly as she heard this, but said nothing to this.
"Hey, this fox is breathing booze!" a man from the bar yelled out.
Naruto, Zoro and Nami looked over, and saw that Kurama was hanging from a hanging chandelier, spewing what looked like alcohol from his mouth, like a fountain while Usopp danced under it.
"Um, does that mean it's okay to drink?" one man asked curiously.
"I wouldn't. Who knows where that fox has been" another man said, as he shook his head at this.
Naruto chuckled at this, before he got up from the table. "Sorry to cut this game short guys, but seeing as they reached their second wind I gotta go make sure that Usopp and Kurama get back to the Merry ok" he said, as he walked away.
Zoro nodded at this, before he noticed that Nami was silent, as she was looking at her glass. "Are you ok?" he asked her curiously.
"Yea, I'm fine" Nami said, as she continued to be lost in her thoughts.
(Sometime later)
Naruto was in the back of the Baratie, helping Usopp and Kurama lean over the railing, so that they could throw up over the edge, before he would take them to the Merry to sleep.
As Usopp and Kurama leaned over the side of the railing, Naruto noticed Sanji and Luffy down the ways, talking to a man on a raft who was getting ready to leave. He wore a headband on his head, and a green shirt with a jacket worn over it.
"Hey guys, what's going on?" Naruto asked, as he approached them, getting their attention.
Gin looked up at Naruto and winced. "Sorry Sanji, it looks like your gonna get in trouble for feeding me for free" he said,
Sanji blew some smoke out of his mouth, before he grabbed the bowl and glass that was on the floor, and threw it over the edge of the ship into the sea. "What meal?" he asked with a smile.
"Yeah, I didn't see anything," Luffy said with a grin.
Gin froze at this, before he started to cry and suddenly he bowed his head at Sanji. "Thank you so much! I swear that I'll find a way to pay back this debt!" he yelled, as he was taken out to sea.
Sanji nodded at this, while Luffy waved at Gin as he left.
"Uh, am I missing something?" Naruto asked Luffy curiously, as Sanji went back inside the restaurant.
"Sanji fed someone who had no money and was at death's door" Luffy said with a smile.
"Oh? Well, that was nice of him" Naruto said, as he nodded in understanding, as he had to get by with little food back in Wano, so he could sympathise.
"Yup. And I think we have our cook. I just need to convince him to join us" Luffy said, as he gained a determined look on his face.
"Well, he's tough, he's a cook and he has a good attitude from what I see, so he's got my vote" Naruto said as he smiled widely.
"Great. I'll go ask him - hey, why is Kurama falling into the sea?" Luffy was asking, before he pointed behind Naruto.
"Oh, damn it!" Naruto yelled, before he quickly teleported over to where Kurama was hanging over the railing, and quickly grabbed him by his tail before he could fall, saving him from falling into the sea and drowning.
(A few days later)
It had been a few days and everyone was still staying at the Baratie, seeing as Luffy and Naruto still owned them, and Luffy wanted Sanji to join them.
right now Naruto was waiting tables and Luffy was washing dishes while the zoro and usopp were out in the dining area, meanwhile Nami Yosaku and Johnny were back on the Merry
"I already said no! I'm not joining your crew!" Sanji yelled, as he was cooking in the kitchen.
"And I already said that I refused your refusal!" Luffy yelled back, as he was cleaning some dishes.
"And I said get back to work, chore boy! And where is whiskers? He's supposed to be waiting tables!" Zeff yelled at Luffy.
"Oh, he said something about paying off our debt" Luffy said, as he took some food off a plate and ate it.
"Oh really? And how's he gonna do that? Make clones of himself to help out around here?" Zeff asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Hey boss, whiskers paid off the debt! He had a snail account number that went through!" Carne yelled, as he entered the kitchen, holding a receipt.
"Say what?" Zeff asked, as he grabbed said receipt and looked at it, before blinking in surprise. "I'll be damned. He actually paid off the debt" he said with a chuckle.
"Eh?! How did he pull that off?" Sanji asked, as he chopped some onions.
"Well, let's just say that I called in a favour," Naruto said, as he appeared behind Sanji.
"Gah! Don't do that!' Sanji yelled out, as he kicked at Naruto, who jumped avoiding his kick.
"How did you pay off our debt? Did you get a loan from Nami?" Luffy asked with a cocked eyebrow.
"What do you think I am, nuts?" Naruto asked with a look of disbelief.
"Depends if ramen is involved" Luffy said with a shrug, like he had been practising this response.
"Ha!" Sanji laughed at this, while Naruto face planted at this.
"You must have connections, if you know a snail account number, whiskers," Zeff said, as he looked at Naruto with a critical eye.
(Island of Baltigo)
On the revolutionaries main island base, a man with long white hair, wearing geta sandals, a shinobi outfit and face paint was sitting out on the balcony, writing in a notebook.
"Master Jiraiya!" an officer yelled, as he ran out onto the balcony where the man was sitting, while holding a long list in his hand.
"Yes, what is it?" Jiraiya asked, as he continued to write in his notebook.
"We just got this bill sent to us from the East Blue, through your snail account number" the officer said, as he handed the list to Jiraiya.
Jiraiya looked at the list, and as he read through it, his eyes got wider and wider.
"DAMN IT, YOU BRAT!!!!" he bellowed out loudly, his voice choking for all to hear.
(Back at the Baratie)
"So does that mean we don't need to work here anymore?" Luffy asked with a grin, as he grabbed a piece of food from another plate before eating it.
Before Zeff could answer, everyone heard a commotion outside.
"Oh great, now what?" Naruto asked with a groan.
"It looks like a big ship is outside" Sanji said, as he looked outside a nearby window.
Everyone went outside and saw that everyone was looking at the entrance to the restaurant which was open and that Gin was back and with him was a large man, who had light purple hair with a bandage around it, and he was wearing a fur coat, covering up what looked like golden armour.
"I-it's Don Krieg!" one of the civilians yelled in a panic, as they recognized the man with Gin.
"Run for it!" another customer yelled in terror
Krieg looked up at the chefs and fell to his knees. "Food….I need food" he groaned out in pain.
This got looks of surprise from the chefs and the civilians for a few moments, before….
"Wait, this is the legendary Don Krieg?" Patty asked, before he started to laugh at this.
"Yea, someone call the marines and don't give him a thing!" Carne yelled out, a wide grin on his face.
"Hey! We have money, so we are customers! You said so before!" Gin yelled, as he took out some jewellery for emphasis.
"Oh please, like we'll give him anything. He'll just attack us when he's back at full strength" a chef said, with many nodding and yelling in agreement.
"Yea, let him starve!" one of the civilians yelled out, getting cheers of agreement from others.
"Please, I promise to leave once I've had something to eat" Krieg said, as he bowed his head low at Patty in submission.
"Don Kreig! You shouldn't have to bow your head to them" Gin said.
"Feh, pathetic" Patty said as he scoffed at this, not noticing that Sanji was behind him, with his foot raised.
SMASH!
Before he kicked Patty hard in the head, sending him flying into a table nearby.
"Here Gin, he can eat this," Sanji said, as he placed a bowl of fried rice and a bottle of wine in front of Don Krieg, surprising everyone watching.
"Oh, thank you!" Krieg yelled, as he grabbed the food and started to eat it like a man possessed.
"Sanji! Take that food away from him! You don't know what he will do if he gets his strength back!" Carne yelled, as he helped Patty to his feet.
"Yah. I heard that he once waved a white flag at some marines, before he attacked them while their guard was down" a chef said with a hard look and tone.
"AH! Thanks for the meal" Krieg said with a wide smirk, as he stood up behind Sanji….
Before he clotheslined him with his arm, sending him flying.
"Don Krieg! You promised that you wouldn't hurt - arrgggh!" Gin was saying, before Krieg grabbed him by his shoulder and squeezed it hard.
"This is a nice ship, so I think I'll take it," Krieg said with a matter of fact tone, as he looked around the restaurant.
"Say what?!" the chefs all yelled in shock.
"Listen up! I have a hundred men who are starving outside. So bring me enough meals for all of them" Krieg said, as he glared at the chefs.
"If you think that we're gonna make a hundred meals, then you've got another thing coming!" a chef yelled out.
"Yeah, what he - oi, where are you going Sanji?" Patty was saying with a nod, before he saw Sanji walking towards the kitchen.
"I have a hundred meals to make," Sanji said with a firm tone.
Krieg smirked at this. "Well, at least one of you knows how to take orders around here" he said, as he crossed his arms.
Suddenly, Sanji was surrounded by the other chefs, who were pointing their weapons at him.
"What's your deal, Sanji?" one chef asked with a scowl.
"Yea, are you a mole or something?" another asked with a frown.
Sanji sighed at this, before he held his arms out. "Well, if you're gonna kill me, then kill me" he said simply.
"What?!" the chefs all yelled at this.
"If a man is hungry, I feed them. Who they are means nothing to me, once they are fed. We can easily deal with them afterwards, but I refuse to let them starve to death, when I can help" Sanji said.
The other chefs were all silent at this, before….
BAM!!
Patty came up behind Sanji and slammed his fists onto his back, sending him to the floor.
"Quick, tie him up!" Patty yelled to his fellow cooks, as he turned to a cupboard nearby.
"Hey, let me go, damn it!" Sanji yelled out, as he was held down by the other cooks.
"I'm not gonna get into a debate about whether you helping the people I throw out is right or not, Sanji. But in this instance, you're wrong! This isn't someone who's helpless, this is one of the worst pirates in the East Blue" Patty said, as he opened a cupboard and started to dig through it.
"Heh, I'm glad that my reputation has reached this far," Krieg said with a cruel grin at this.
"Since you enjoyed your meal, how about some dessert?" Patty yelled, as he turned to Krieg and lifted out what looked like a shoulder mounted cannon, that looked like a lobster.
"Cool!" Luffy and Usopp yelled together upon seeing this.
"It won't work," Naruto said as he sighed, as he could tell that Krieg wasn't worried and that meant he was either crazy, or he had a way to defend against it.
"Take this! Meatball of Doom!" Patty yelled, as he fired what looked like a mini cannonball at Krieg.
The attack struck Krieg and sent him out the door.
"Gahahahaha! He wasn't that tough!" Patty yelled as he laughed, while the other cooks cheered at this.
"Your dessert was terrible" Krieg growled out, as he walked back into the restaurant, his cloak moved to the side, showing that he was wearing what looked like a complete set of armour, which didn't look affected at all.
"What?!" the chefs all yelled in shock at this reveal.
"A complete set of armour?!" Carne yelled in a panic.
"Do you think he is compensating for something?" Naruto asked Zoro with a grin, who snorted at this while Kurama, who was on his shoulder, snickered.
"My turn" Krieg said, before he took out a pair of guns and the two shoulder pads opened and more guns came out, before he opened fire on Patty and the chefs for a few moments, before he stopped.
"Now, let's make this clear for you; when I tell you to do something, you do it! You sea cooks may be tough enough to take on some low level pirates, but I am Don Krieg of the pirate armada! I am the man who will conquer the Grandline, and find the One Piece to become King of the Pirates!" Krieg yelled, as he put away his guns.
"No you're not, cause I am" Luffy said, as he stepped forward with a smile on his face.
"Chore boy, just be quiet! He will kill you!" one of the chefs yelled in a panic.
"Nope, not about this," Luffy said firmly.
"Yea, when it comes to this, our capitan is hard headed," Naruto said with a smile, while Kurama nodded in agreement.
"And who are you supposed to be, brat?" Krieg asked with a scowl, as he looked at Luffy
"I'm Monkey D Luffy, and I'm the man who will be the King of the Pirates" Luffy said simply.
"Oh? And your crew?" Krieg asked with a smirk.
"Them, and one more outside" Luffy said, as he pointed at Naruto, Kurama, Usopp, Zoro and Sanji.
"Oi, don't count me!" Sanji yelled out at this.
"You think you can beat me in conquering the Grandline with six men and a pet?! Don't play games with me, boy! I had 50 ships and 5000 men and most of them were wiped out in a day!" Krieg yelled out.
"EEHH!?" the chefs yelled out in shock at this.
"Even Don Krieg couldn't handle the Grandline," Carne said in surprise.
"We were only there for a week and then we were attacked by one man," Krieg said with a scowl.
"That wasn't a man, that was a monster with those hawk eyes and he sliced our entire armada in half with just a sword" Gin said, as he started to shake at this.
"One man?!" everyone yelled in shock at this.
"Ah, you must have interrupted Hawkeye's nap," Zeff said.
Zoro froze at this, before he smiled in excitement, as he held this.
"This isn't a joke, old man!" Gin yelled out in a rage.
"I'm not kidding, that's the kind of place the Grandline is, brat" Zeff said with a shrug, before he turned around to go into the kitchen.
"A place where anything that can happen?" Usopp asked in a panic, as he started to shake in fear.
"I know. I'm so excited" Luffy said with a smile at this, as he shook in excitement.
Usopp looked down in despair at this, while Naruto patted him on the back.
Suddenly, Zeff placed a massive bag in front of Krieg.
"Here's your hundred meals. Now take them and get out" Zeff said with a scowl at Krieg.
Krieg smiled at this, before he looked at Zeff for a moment and his eyes widened. "Red Leg Zeff?" he asked in surprise.
"In another life. These days, I'm the head chef of the floating restaurant Baratie" Zeff said firmly, as he crossed his arms.
"Wait, you were a pirate, old man?" Luffy asked curiously.
"You were one of the few who actually came back from the Grandline alive, and I bet you kept a log book of your voyage" Krieg said as he looked at Zeff with a wide grin.
"So what if I did?" Zeff asked.
"I want your log book, old man," Krieg said with a determined look and tone.
Naruto scoffed at this. "You can't get by on second hand knowledge, dipshit. You may have numbers, but that doesn't mean shit in the Grandline" he said.
"And what do you know about it, whiskers?" Krieg growled, as he looked at Naruto with a sneer.
Naruto glared back, as he thought back to his past, as an image of a dragon destroying his home filled his mind. "Trust me, you're nothing compared to a real monster. You're just a loud bully, who needs numbers and weapons to win and I bet that you fight dirty too" he said with a smirk. as Kurama glared back along with him.
Krieg growled at this, before he grabbed the bag of food, and placed it over his shoulder. "Listen up! I will be back with my men in an hour! You have until then to leave, if you don't want to die! And leave the log book on your way out and you can live to see another day!" he yelled out as he left.
The civilian customers all quickly scampered to leave at this, before soon only the chefs and Luffy and his crew were left behind.
"So what's the plan? Cause I vote that we get out of here" Usopp asked, before he pointed at the door.
"Not happening" Naruto said with a firm tone, as he shook his head at this.
"Yea, I'm not leaving my chef!" Luffy said, as he pointed at Sanji.
"Oi, I'm not your chef!" Sanji yelled out, his teeth turning razor sharp.
"Oh, come on! Luffy I would expect this from, but why you?!" Usopp yelled at Naruto, as he grabbed the front of his shirt.
"Cause that asshole needs a beating and I'm not leaving this place for him to just take it," Naruto said with a scowl.
"And why's that? You're a pirate, aren't you?" Sanji asked, as he lit a cigarette.
"…..I don't like bullies," Naruto said firmly.
"Yeah. He once beat up some guys when they made fun of me when we were younger" Luffy said with a nod.
"Oh, come on! You're with me, right Zoro? Kurama?" Usopp asked, looking at his fellow crewmates.
"If the captain wants to stay and help, then that's all I need to know," Zoro said, as he held his katana.
Kurama barked at this, holding his paw up at this.
"Wait, he can actually fight and isn't a mascot?" Sanji asked, as he looked at Kurama curiously.
Kurama growled at this, while Naruto and Luffy snickered quietly.
"Would you believe that he ate a Devil fruit?" Usopp asked.
"Liar," Sanji said, as he shook his head at this.
"Yea, who would waste a fruit on a pet?" Carne asked with a grin, while Patty laughed.
Kurama growled at this, but before he could do anything, Naruto patted him on the head to calm him down.
"Save it for Krieg's men, buddy," Naruto said, as he petted his friend.
"Alright you lot, get ready. We have a real fight on our hands" Zeff said, as he looked at his chefs.
"Someone go raise the fins, so that we have more room to fight outside" Sanji said to them.
"We're on it!" some of the chefs yelled, as they ran into the back.
Suddenly, the ship started to shake and they heard yelling outside.
"What is going on?!" Carne yelled out.
Naruto ran over to the entrance and his eyes widened at what he saw. "Krieg's ship has been split in half!" he yelled out.
"Say what?!" everyone yelled out, as they all ran to go take a look at this, as the destroyed ship was blasted apart, causing pieces of wood to be floating on the sea now.
"Bros!!!" Johnny was heard yelling out, getting Luffy, Naruto, Zoro and Usopp's attention, causing them to look and see Johnny and Yosaku swimming to the Baratie.
"Hey, what happened to you two?" Zoro asked, as he helped Johnny out of the water.
"Yea, you two were supposed to be watching the Merry with Nami" Naruto said, as he helped Yosaku out of the sea.
Johnny and Yosaku started to cry at this, before they started to look at the ground in shame. "Big sis Nami sailed off with the Merry!" they yelled together.
"SAY WHAT?!?!?!" Luffy, Naruto, Usopp and Kurama all yelled and barked out in shock at this.
Zoro looked annoyed at this, before he noticed a small boat was sailing towards the Baratie, which looked like a coffin. It had candles with green flames on them, and only one seat in the middle, which was occupied by a man. The man had a wide brimmed hat with a large plume on it, an open black coat with no shirt underneath, light purple pants and large boots. He had a small crucifix necklace and what looked like a large sword on his back.
"Dracule Mihawk" Zoro said as he smiled, as he looked at the man
"AAHH! It's him!" one of Krieg's men yelled in a panic.
"Why did you follow us here?" another shouted in fear.
"I was bored," Hawkeye said simply, as he looked at the man.
"Bored?!" the man yelled, as he took out his pistols and fired at Hawkeye.
Hawkeye quickly unsheathed his blade, and used it to easily divert the path of the bullets, so that they went past him.
"EEHH!? H-how did he do that?" the man shouted in shock.
"He used his sword to change the bullet's path" Zoro said, as he jumped over to the piece of Krieg's ship that Hawkye's boat was approaching.
"You have a good eye on you, for a small fish from the East Blue" Hawkeye said, as he looked at Zoro.
"I have been following your career since I was a kid," Zoro said, as he put his bandana on.
"Thank you" Hawkeye said with a bored tone of voice, like he had heard this before a dozen times.
"Which is why it pains me to inform you that I, Roronoa Zoro, am challenging you to a duel to the death" Zoro said, as he unsheathed his two katanas, before resting one of them on his shoulder.
"D-don Krieg, that's Roronoa Zoro!" one of the pirates yelled out in a panic, as he recognized Zoro.
"The famous pirate hunter?" Krieg asked with a raised eyebrow.
"If you're a competent swordsman, then you don't need to cross swords with me to know that I can surpass your puny skills. Does the courage to point your blade at me come from confidence or from ignorance?" Hawkeye said, as he stood across from Zoro, who pulled out his other sword and placed it in his mouth.
"It comes from ambition and a promise to a friend," Zoro said, as he readied himself to clash with the world's greatest swordsman.
"The world's greatest swordsman and Zoro the pirate hunter" Patty said, as he and the other chefs watched this
"Nobody can beat our brother!" Yosaku said with a determined look on his face.
"Yeah! He'll beat Mihawk easily!" Johnny said with a nod of agreement.
Naruto and Luffy said nothing to this, as they watched this, along with Kurama and Usopp.
Hawkeye pulled his necklace off and pulled off the bottom, showing that it was a small knife.
"What the heck is that? I came for a fight, not butter some bread" Zoro said with a scowl.
"You wouldn't hunt a rabbit with a cannon. And I do apologise, as this is the smallest knife that I have with me" Hawkeye said nonchalantly, as he held out his dagger.
"You better take it easy with the bravado, you will feel stupid when I kill you!" Zoro yelled, as he charged at Hawkeye, his three katanas ready. "Oni Giri!" he yelled, as he swung at Hawkeye, but the attack was easily stopped by Hawkeye holding out his dagger.
This got silence from everyone, who were all shocked at this display of skill from the world's greatest swordsman.
Naruto started to sweat at this, as he watched this. "He's definitely skilled, he reminds me of Otou San" he thought to himself.
Zoro started to sweat at this, before he yelled as he started to attack Hawkeye by swinging his blades wildly, but he easily avoided the attacks.
"Bro! Don't let him beat you!" Yosaku and Johnny yelled out together.
"Such heavy handed swordplay" Hawkeye said with a blank tone, as he easily deflected Zoro's attacks with his dagger.
"I came to win!" Zoro yelled, as he thought about his old friend, who he had lost to multiple times.
"What drives you? Why do you fight so hard, when you cannot win? You're a weakling, a frog in a well who doesn't know how big the world is" Hawkeye said like it was a fact.
"Oi, our brother isn't a weakling, buzzard eye!" Johnny and Yosaku yelled, as they tried to jump off the Baratie to go towards the battlefield.
Before Luffy and Naruto grabbed them and slammed them on the deck of the ship.
"Stay out of it!" Luffy yelled, as he held Johnny down.
"Luffy? Naruto?" Usopp asked curiously, wondering why they were getting involved.
"Yeah, this is Zoro's fight," Naruto said, as he nodded at this, while holding down Yosaku.
Zoro was back on his feet after being sent to the floor again and charged at Hawkeye, his two blades raised. "Tiger Hunt!" he yelled out.
But as he swung, Hawkeye was in front of him and stabbed him in the chest with his dagger.
"Bro!!!" Johnny and Yosaku yelled out in a panic at seeing this.
Luffy winced at this, but he didn't let Johnny go.
"Why don't you retreat?" Hawkeye asked Zoro, as he kept his blade on his chest.
"If I retreat even one step, then my vow, my ambition, everything I care about, my dreams will be shattered" Zoro said, as some blood dripped down his chin.
"Yes, that is called defeat," Hawkeye said with a nod.
"Heh, so I can't retreat," Zoro said with a defiant smirk.
"Even if that meant death?" Hawkeye asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I prefer death to defeat!" Zoro said with a smile.
Hawkeye said nothing to this, before he pulled his dagger out of Zoro and stepped back. "Boy, speak your name" he said, as he sheathed his dagger.
"Its Roronoa Zoro" Zoro said, as he placed his swords to form a three point star.
"I'll remember it, it's been a while since I've met one so brave. I will honour you by using the best blade in the world" Hawkeye said, as he unsheathed the sword on his back.
"He's drawn it! The sword that destroyed our armada!" one of the pirates yelled in a panic
Zoro began spinning his two swords in his hands, as he remembered all the training that he did to reach this point.
"Three sword style: three thousand worlds!" Zoro yelled, as he ran past Hawkeye as he swung his own sword.
Moments later, the two swords in Zoro's hands shattered to pieces.
"So that's the best in the world" Zoro thought, as he dropped his destroyed swords and sheathed the sword in his mouth.
Hawkeye turned to look at Zoro and paused, as he saw him turn to him, his arms out.
"Scars on the back are a swordsman's shame," Zoro said with a grin.
"Well said," Hawkeye said with a grin of his own, before he swung his sword at Zoro, cutting his chest and causing him to fall into the water behind him.
"Zoro!!!!" Luffy yelled, as he let Johnny go, while Naruto let Yosaku go.
"Bro!" Johnny and Yosaku yelled, as they both jumped into the sea.
"Damn you! Gum Gum Rocket!" Luffy yelled, as he threw a punch at Hawkeye, which he avoided by moving to the side, causing Luffy to slam into the deck.
Hawkeye turned to look at Luffy, but before he could say anything, he held up his hand and caught what looked like Naruto's kusarigama in between his fingers, before he looked at Naruto who had teleported before him, before pulling his weapon to him by its chain.
"I should have figured that wouldn't work. You're way too good to be caught off guard" Naruto said, as he held his kusarigama at the ready.
Hawkeye raised an eyebrow at Naruto, before his eye stopped as he looked at the swirl tattoo on his shoulder. "Hmmmm, you're a long way from home, young Uzumaki. Where's your sword? Do you wish to challenge me too?" he asked curiously.
"Nah, I'm not looking to become a great swordsman," Naruto said with a shake of his head.
"Indeed. Well, you can both relax, the wound was shallow so he will live" Hawkeye said, as Johnny and Yosaku pulled Zoro out of the sea and onto a boat.
"Luffy! Can you hear me?" Zoro yelled out, as he held up his white katana.
"Don't talk bro, you've lost quite a bit of blood" Johnny said.
"I can hear you!" Luffy said, as he nodded at this.
"If I fail, you will be disappointed, right?!" Zoro asked, as he held his head, as he bled from his mouth while tears ran down his eyes.
"Luffy, he's bleeding and he needs a doctor!" Usopp yelled.
"I'll never lose again! Not until I beat him! Until I become the world's greatest swordsman, I will never lose again! Have you got a problem with that, King of the Pirates?!" Zoro yelled, before his arm fell and he passed out.
"Heh, nope," Luffy said with a chuckle.
"It's still too early for you to die. My name is Dracule Mihawk! Discover your true self, the true world, become stronger! However long it may take, I shall await you at the top. Surpass this sword! Surpass me! Roronoa Zoro!" Hawkeye yelled out.
"Well, I'll be. This is the first time I've ever heard Mihawk praise someone like that" Zeff said with wide eyes.
"Boy, what is your goal?" Hawkeye asked Luffy.
"To become the King of the Pirates" Luffy said with a determined tone and look.
"Heh, your goal will be harder than surpassing even me," Hawkeye said, as he smiled a bit.
"I don't care," Luffy said with a frown.
"And you Uzumaki?" Hawkeye asked as he looked at Naruto.
"…..I want to go home and free it" Naruto said firmly, as he clenched his fists tightly.
Hawkeye nodded at this, before he walked away. "I would recommend embracing your heritage then, if you want a chance of doing that then" he said, as he walked towards his boat.
"Hey Hawkeye, didn't you come to get my head?!" Krieg yelled out, as he stepped forward, an arrogant and cocky grin on his face.
"No, I have had enough fun for now. I think I will go home and take a nap now" Hawkeye said, as he got back on his boat.
"Well I'm not looking to let you go so easily!" Krieg yelled, as he took out his pistols and fired them at Hawkeye.
"You're a slow learner, farewell" Hawkeye said, as he swung his sword and made water go flying into the air, as he destroyed the piece of Krieg's ship that he and Zoro were fighting on.
Luffy thankfully used his stretching arm to grab the front of the Baratie, and pulled himself over to it.
Naruto meanwhile, had teleported over to the boat that Usopp, Zoro, Johnny, Yosaku and Kurama were on.
"Usopp, set sail and go after Nami!" Luffy yelled out to them.
"You got it! Just make sure that you beat Krieg, and then recruit that chef, then we can go out to the Grandline!" Usopp yelled out with a grin as he nodded.
Luffy laughed at this and nodded, before he looked at Naruto. "Naruto, I need you to go with them. Zoro is hurt and they might need backup!" he yelled out to him.
Naruto paused at this, before he looked at Luffy's determined look in his eyes, before he sighed and nodded and chuckled. "Man, if Ace could see you now giving orders" he said with a smile as he nodded, as he turned to Usopp and the others. "Get this ship moving!" he yelled as he approached Zoro, as the ship went out to sea.
(Sometime later)
It was an hour later and Naruto had just finished applying what little first aid he knew to Zoro.
"There, that should do, until we get him to a proper doctor. You're lucky that my grandpa was stubborn in teaching me first aid" Naruto said to Zoro, as he sat against the deck of the ship.
Zoro nodded at this, as he rested himself and closed his eyes.
"Any ideas where we are following Nami?" Naruto asked Johnny and Yosaku.
"Well, I have an idea where she's going, thanks to the heading she had the Merry going in, and the bounty poster she was eyeballing, before she took the Merry" Johnny said.
"And that is?" Usopp asked curiously, raising an eyebrow at this.
"She was looking at a poster about a Fishman, known as Arlong, who has a 20,000,000 bounty," Yosaku said, as he held out a wanted poster, showing a Fishman on it. The fishman wore a Hawaiian shirt and had a saw-like nose.
Naruto paused at this, as he looked at the wanted poster and recalled what he had been told about Fishman by his grandfather. "Ok change of plans; one of you is gonna go back and get Luffy" he said firmly.
"What?!" Johnny and Yosaku yelled at this.
"Good idea. If he's worth 20,000,000 berries, then we need Luffy right away!" Usopp said with a panicked look on his face.
"Exactly. Kurama and I can only get so far on our own. Now, who's volunteering?" Naruto asked, as he looked at Johnny and Yosaku.
Both bounty hunters were silent at this, as they knew this would mean swimming back to the Baratie.
Unseen to them however, Kurama was sneaking up behind Yosaku and when he was close enough, he bit him on the arm.
"Oi!" Yosaku yelled, as he raised his arm in the air.
"Thank you Yosaku! Here, I'll help you get started!" Naruto said as he smiled, while he grabbed the bounty hunter and dragged him over to the edge of the boat, before he threw him overboard.
"Wow, I'm surprised he's swimming so fast," Usopp said, as they watched Yosaku swim off.
"Uh, I think it's because he's being chased by a panda shark," Johnny said with a worried tone.
"Ok crew, we have a long way to go. So how about a nice sea shanty to lift our spirits?" Naruto asked with a grin.
Kurama snickered at this, as he could see from Naruto's grin that this was gonna be good.
"Ohhhh, there once was a girl with tangerine hair! She stole our ship and left us stranded somewhere! Truly she was a crafty and crooked young lass, but you can't deny she had a hell of an ass - oof!!!" Naruto was singing, before Zoro hit him from behind with the sheath of his katana.
"Let me rest, you ramen sucking idiot!" Zoro yelled, before he went back to sleep.
Naruto groaned as he laid on the deck of the ship, while Kurama looked at him curiously.

They were on the headpiece of the Merry fighting Luffy tossed the piece up ready to eat it but Naruto quickly snatched it before Luffy could reach it making him face fault as he ate it laughing.
