Luffy smiled wildly as he ran across the grassy mountain top, suddenly a black blur zipped past him revealing a grinning Naruto, Luffy's smile grew as he sped up running alongside his friend as they jumped off the cliff holding out their hands as the deep blue sea stood over them. As if sensing an adventure, Zorro, Nami, Ussop, and Sanji turned towards the direction of the east.

Luffy jumped into the air rearing back his fist, his hand gripped the the crows nest of of the main sail of the Going Merry as he pulled himself towards the ship with a massive grin on his face. Naruto teleported across the ocean kicking up ward as he ran towards the Going Merry jumping into the air with a wide toothy grin.
The title shoots forward in front of a massive map.

The Going Merry sails through the every wide and expanding east blew, Sea Kings, massive fish, and various other sea creatures shoot up from the water creating large creating massive waves splashes the shook the ship. The Straw Hat crew looked on with amazement as Luffy hung from upside down from the deck of the ship.
The ship swam across the map jumping, and splashing along the way .

Naruto drew his katana running across the ship slashing with jet black strikes, he jumped into the air switching his weapon to a kusanagi swinging it downwards.
Zorro was surrounded on all sides by enemy pirates and with one swing of his swords blew them all away. Ussop took aim with his sling shot firing his an egg hitting one man in the face before Nami struck him in the back of the head with an iron pipe smirking. Sanji did a handstand kicking around his feet knocking away the other enemy pirates.
Kojinteki na arashi wa dareka no
A red eyed sea king rushed through the water opening it's jaws but Luffy simply grinned rearing his fist back and smashing it hard into the Sea Kings right cheek knocking it out cold. Naruto and Luffy land back to back on the ship's deck looking at each other as they grin before looking up at the horizon.

Above them were the images of Alvida, Buggy, Kuro, Kreig, Smoker, and a cloaked man above them were the silhouettes of seven unknown figures dressed in long cloakes with glowing red eyes, and above them were four large figures. One looked down at Naruto grinning at it reached downard at him causing Naruto to roar jumping into the air swinging at punch at them.

Luffy spun his straw hat around on his finger tips while Naruto looked at the Uzumaki clan tattoo on his shoulder. As they did Shanks appeared in a world of pure light with the straw hat on his head giving a grin as Uta jumped into the air with her arms raised and a smile on her face before turning away as they other red haired pirates Ben, Yassop, and Lucky, Minato appeared next with his arm around Kushina's waist both smiling as he followed behind the Red Haired pirates.

The two friends and their crew smiled as they stood off gazing at the ocean and boundless adventures that surely awaited them.

(Aboard the Going Merry)
Aboard the Going Merry, most of the crew were all on the deck of the ship, as the ship made its way over the sea.
Naruto was up in the crows nest, looking through a telescope, as he kept an eye out for any marines, as the Merry made its way.
Meanwhile, down below, Ussop was sitting on the deck of the ship, looking over his mini chemistry set, as he tried to develop some new ammo.
Nearby, Nami was looking over a map, as she made sure that the ship was on the right heading.
And while this was going on, Sanji was in the kitchen, making some lunch, before……
"Oi! Get out of my kitchen, you little furball!" Sanji yelled, as the door to the ship's cabin opened and Kurama ran out, with a piece of meat in his mouth.
Zoro, who was swinging his weights nearby, chuckled at this. "Good boy," he thought.
Kurama then ran over to Luffy, who was sitting on the head of the Merry.
Luffy smiled at Kurama, as he petted the kitsune on the head, before he noticed something in the distance.
"Hey Nami, there's a lighthouse!" Luffy yelled out, as he pointed at the front.
"Then that means we're getting close to the entrance to the Grandline," Nami said with a grin.
"Alright, let's go!" Luffy cheered, as he jumped down from his special seat with Kurama.
"Not yet Luffy. First of all, we need to get supplies first" Naruto said, as he teleported onto the deck of the ship
"I agree with my fellow blond. I just checked the kitchen, and we only have enough food and water for maybe a week" Sanji said, as he came out, carrying lunch with him as everyone dug in.
"A few days with Luffy" Naruto said, as Kurama snickered at this.
"Plus, we need other supplies too" Ussop said, as he packed up his ammo set
"Yeah. I need two new swords, too" Zoro said, as he walked over to them.
"And I need to do some shopping," Nami said with a nod.
"Hmmmm, ok. So, where are we gonna go?" Luffy asked curiously.
"Well, we are in luck, as there is an island nearby with a town" Nami said, as she pointed over the railing of the ship.
Everyone looked and saw that in the distance, there was indeed a big island.
"What town is it?" Usopp asked curiously, as they bobbed about on the sea.
"It's called Loguetown and it's actually pretty famous," Nami said with a grin.
"Well, it should be. It's where the Pirate King was both born and executed" Naruto said, as he smiled at Luffy knowingly.
Luffy smiled brightly upon hearing this. "Really?! Then let's go!" he yelled, as he pointed at the island
"Aye aye captain" Naruto said, as he saluted Luffy with a smile, as everyone moved to guide the Merry towards Loguetown.
(Sometime later)
The crew were all now in the town, after leaving the Merry at the docks
"Okay, who's off getting what?" Naruto asked with a clap of his hands.
"I need two new swords, but I don't have any money," Zoro said, as he crossed his arms.
"I'll give you a loan at 300 percent interest" Nami said with a smirk at the swordsman.
"Damn witch" Zoro grumbled under his breath with a scowl, before he nodded.
"Pleasure doing business with you" Nami said with a vindictive smile, as he handed Zoro some money, before he walked off down a street.
"I'll buy the food supplies we'll need," Sanji said, as he went down a different street.
"I'm gonna need to get a few supplies" Usopp said, as he walked off, muttering under his breath what he might need.
"I'm gonna go look at the execution platform!" Luffy yelled, as he quickly ran off.
"Oi! Don't cause a scene! You have a bounty, you moron!" Nami yelled after him.
"He's already gone," Naruto said with a chuckle, along with Kurama, who was snickering from his shoulder.
Nami gave Naruto a look of annoyance at this, before she approached him. "Ok smart ass, you're coming with me" she said, with her hands on her hips.
"Eh? Why?" Naruto asked, as he raised an eyebrow at this.
"You have a bounty too, and we don't need you getting attention while we are here," Nami replied.
"Hey, I'm more well behaved than Luffy is, ya know" Naruto said, as Kurama snickered some more at this.
"Fine. I need a pack mule for my shopping" Nami said, as she grabbed Naruto's hand and dragged him down the street
Naruto made a mocking face at Nami at this, as he followed the navigator, deciding that he may as well help her a bit, as he figured, what could it hurt?
(A while later)
Apparently, it hurt quite a lot.
Naruto gave a groan of annoyance as he was laden down with many bags, filled with all kinds of mapping supplies, as men that walked past him gave looks of sympathy, while Nami walked in front with a happy smile on her face, with Kurama, who was finishing eating an onion, laid out on her shoulders
"Do you really need all this stuff?" Naruto groaned, as he followed after Nami.
"Of course I do. I need the best equipment, if I'm gonna chart a map of the world" Nami said, as she smiled over her shoulder at him.
"Yea, that's true. At least this stuff is actually needed -" Naruto was saying, before he was cut off.
"Oh! A clothing shop! Let's go Kurama" Nami said with a smile, as she spotted a new store and ran towards the shop and quickly entered it, before she began looking around.
"Of course" Naruto groaned out, as he followed after Nami, taking note that the store was high class
"Do you require some help, madam?" a man with a really weird haircut, that looked like a coat hanger asked, as he approached Nami with a smile.
"Yes. I'm looking to expand my wardrobe a bit. What would you recommend I buy" Nami said with a smile at the man.
The man smiled at this, as he quickly ran off to go grab some clothes to show Nami.
"Heh, sucker" Naruto thought, as he could already tell that Nami was working an angle.
Moments later, Nami was coming out from behind the dressing curtain, wearing a cocktail dress and holding a hand fan.
"How do I look?" Nami asked, as she posed slightly.
"You look fantastic, madam!" the worker said as he smiled widely.
Nami then went back to get changed, before she came out wearing a ball gown. "How about now?" she asked.
"Magnificent!" the worker said, as he smiled.
"And this?" Nami asked, as she came out wearing a feather Boa and a corset, along with a short skirt that showed off her figure.
"Absolutely divine!" the worker exclaimed.
Moments later, Nami was back in her clothes, and the man had all the clothes she had tried on, on the checkout table. "Shall I have these delivered to your quarters, miss?" he asked, as he smiled at the idea of a big payday.
"No thanks. This place is way too expensive for me. Let's go whiskers" Nami said with a smile, as she walked out of the store.
"Thank you, come again!" the man yelled as he cried anime tears, while putting all the clothes back.
Naruto burst out laughing at this, as he followed Nami out of the store. "And I thought that I was the prankster of the crew," he said, as he smiled at Nami.
"I have no idea what you're talking about, whiskers," Nami said, as she smiled at him.
"Uh huh, sure. Though I'm surprised that you didn't buy at least one of those" Naruto said, as he pet Kurama, who jumped onto his shoulder.
"Eh. While dressing up is fun, it doesn't really make sense, seeing as we're going to the Grandline" Nami said, as she shrugged at this.
"True. But you should at least have some fun, right?" Naruto asked, as he looked at Nami.
"Are you buying?" Nami asked, raising an eyebrow at this.
"Ha, nice try" Naruto said, as he scoffed at this.
Nami snapped her fingers at this, while Kurama snickered at this.
Naruto smiled at this. But as he followed Nami, he paused as he spotted something in the crowd of people ahead of them.
"Ah ha! There's a more normal clothing shop. Let's go there, then we can go get something to eat -" Nami was saying, as she approached another clothing shop, and turned to look at Naruto, but paused as she saw that Naruto and Kurama was gone, leaving her bags at her feet, causing her to look around for a few moments, before she scowled at the fact that Naruto just effectively ditched her.
(With Naruto)
Naruto teleported onto the top of a rooftop and looked around for a few moments, along with Kurama, who was on his shoulder.
"I could have sworn that I saw him," Naruto said, as he looked around, not noticing a shadowy figure approaching him from behind.
Kurama's ears twitched at this, before he turned to look at the figure and when he saw him, he opened his mouth and fired a blast of what looked like green mist at the figure.
The figure didn't react at first as he took a few sniffs, before he froze and fell over, falling into the alleyway below, crashing into the trash cans below.
"Gah! What the hell have you been feeding that pet of yours, you brat?!?!" a man with long white hair, with wooden geta sandals on their feet, mesh armor and a coat yelled out. This was Jiraiya, Naruto's grandfather.
Kurama snickered at this, as Naruto jumped down to the man. "Sorry, Pervy Sage. One of my crewmates has been testing foods on him, to see what he can do and he fed him onions, right before we arrived" Naruto said, as he chuckled slightly.
"Was that the one I saw you shopping with? Nice choice for a girl, by the way. I'm sure that your parents would've both approved of her" Jiraiya said with a wide smile, as he stood up and dusted himself off.
"No, it wasn't her, and she's not my girl. She's the crew's navigator and she wanted help with her shopping, before I spotted you. Speaking of which, why are you here?" Naruto asked, as he ignored Jiraiya.
Jiraiya said nothing, as he held out his hand and unrolled a piece of paper, revealing Naruto's wanted poster. "I gotta say brat, I didn't think you would make a name for yourself, before you headed for the Grandline, attacking marines" he said with a smile.
"Hey, they were attacking Nami's mothers tangerine grove. They are lucky that I didn't gut them like -" Naruto was growling out, before being cut off.
"Nami? Ahhh, is that the girl I saw you with name" Jiraiya asked with a smile, as he put away Naruto's wanted poster.
"New subject, Pervert" Naruto growled out, as Kurama snickered at him.
"Ok, ok. I'm actually here to give you something, before you head for the Grandline and to give you a warning" Jiraiya said, as he took off his backpack, and after digging through it for a bit, he took out what looked like a sheathed Katana, making Naruto pause.
It had a purple and white sheath with gold at the end and middle, and a purple handle with a gold guard and pommel.
"I figured it was time for you to take this, seeing as you're finally going out into the world. And while so far, you have been getting by with your mothers kusarigama, you should be using a blade from Wano too" Jiraiya said firmly, as he looked at the blade.
"Are you sure that I'm ready?" Naruto asked curiously, as while he was capable of using a blade, he hadn't been using one up to now, because he wanted to hear it from his grandfather first, before he took one up.
"Well, you're not perfect. But it's not like you're willing to come back with me to train" Jiraiya said, as he looked at Naruto with a knowing look.
"Yea, I have waited long enough. I'm going with Luffy" Naruto said firmly as he nodded.
"Yea, that's what I figured brat. Well, it is what it is, I guess. Plus, from what I hear, you have a swordsman on your crew, you can spar with him and get better" Jiraiya said as he smiled.
"Oh man, Zoro is gonna be so jealous," Naruto said with a snicker, as he knew that the Wado Ichimonji Zoro had was one of the 21 Great Grade swords, which the Nidai Kitetsu was also part of.
Jiraiya chuckled at this, as he handed the blade to Naruto. "Just be sure you have some sort of honor system, even if you're a pirate," he said.
"Hey, you know me better than that, Pervy Sage. We learned from Shanks, not some cut throat looser" Naruto said, as he took the blade, before holstering it on his belt.
"Oh? I could have sworn that you wanted to be a pirate, because of a certain little siren on said redheads crew" Jiraiya said, as he slowly smirked widely.
Naruto froze at this and started to blush bright red, while Kurama started to snicker. "Oi! I was a kid, damn it!" he shouted, as his teeth began turning into fangs, before he coughed and calmed himself down. "Besides, I decided to be a pirate with Luffy, seeing as they are the most free. And after what I saw while training with you, that's what I want most, besides freeing Wano" he said firmly.
Jiraiya nodded at this, as he had heard all of this from his grandson before. "Speaking of which, your old friend Sasuke is a Vice Captain and is stationed here," he said.
"Well, that's just great" Naruto groaned out in annoyance.
"Yep. Looks like your Kitetsu's curse is gonna kill you early" Jiraiya said with a snicker.
"Ha ha ha. You and I both know that mess doesn't count for Uzumaki's" Naruto said with a smirk, as he patted the hilt of his new katana.
"True. Anyway, be careful. He most likely has seen your poster and will be gunning for you, seeing as you two have history" Jiraiya said firmly, as Naruto turned to leave.
"Yea, I know," Naruto said with a sigh, as he ran his hand through his hair, before he left the alleyway.
Jiraiya shook his head at this, before he too left the area, making sure that he wasn't spotted by anyone.
(Loguetown Marine Headquarters)
Inside Marine Headquarters, Sasuke walked into the base and saw his superior officer, who was getting ready to leave with his men. "I'm ready to go, captain smoker sir" he said, as he stood at the ready.
Smoker turned to look at his Vice Captain, as he gave a short nod. "Good. If all goes well, you will be making up for your family name in no time, not that I care" he said with a shrug.
Sasuke nodded at this, as he looked at the men under his command, along with Master Chief Petty Officer Tashigi. "Remember this men, the Ghost may be a new pirate with a high bounty for the East Blue, but he is not to be underestimated. Is that understood?" he said firmly.
"Sir, yes sir!" the men all said as they all saluted him.
Tashigi, who was standing nearby, frowned a little, as Sasuke glared at the wanted poster of Naruto. "Why are you focusing on the Ghost, Uchiha? Shouldn't we focus on his captain first?" she asked.
"We are. When the captain captures Straw Hat, the Ghost will come running, and that's when I'll take him down" Sasuke said firmly, as he crushed the poster in his hands.
"Oi, don't let your past with the Ghost make you reckless, Uchiha" Smoker said firmly, as he took out some new cigars.
"Wait, you have a past with the Ghost?" Tashigi asked with wide eyes, surprised at this.
"It doesn't matter," Sasuke said, as he walked out of the room, trying not to think of the past.
(Flashback start - Naruto's age: 10)
A child Naruto groaned, as he followed his hooded grandfather from the port.
"Why am I here?" Naruto asked with a look of annoyance, as he looked at his grandpa.
"We're here in the Frauce Kingdom, because I was asked to meet up with a contact for my job" Jiraiya said, as he looked around the area.
"Sounds boring" Naruto said, as he was picking his nose
Jiraiya's eyebrow twitched slightly at this. "Anyway, once we're done here, we will get back to training, so just stay out of trouble and explore the market. Here, just don't spend it all on food. I swear, I don't know how you learned to eat so much from that monkey kid" he said, as he handed Naruto a bag of gold coins.
"Great, just pay me off, instead of spending time with me. Great parenting, ya Pervert" Naruto said with a sigh, as he snatched the bag and walked away from his grandfather.
Jiraiya sighed at this, as he knew Naruto didn't mean anything by his words. He was just a kid after all and was lonely, seeing as he didn't have any friends, besides the one he made back in Foosha Village.
He put these thoughts aside for now, as he walked away and went to meet up with his contact.
(With Naruto)
Naruto walked around the massive marketplace, looking around in wonder at all the different stands and what they were selling.
"Wow. This is way different then the marketplace back at Foosha" Naruto thought, as he looked at a stand, which was selling some very fancy jewelry.
He then walked down the road and soon paused, as he saw another stand, which had different animals inside cages.
Naruto frowned at this, as while he had been chased a bit by some animals, and had to hunt them with Luffy in the forest for a bit, before Jiraiya grabbed him and dragged him off, he liked animals and didn't like the idea of caging them up.
Naruto then approached the stand and looked at the cages, and paused as he spotted what looked like a fox with reddish orange fur and a big bushy tail.
The fox turned and looked at Naruto for a few moments, before he scoffed and turned around to ignore the boy.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at this, as he expected a pet being sold to try and make itself look good.
"Yea, sorry kid. That one has a bad attitude" the man running the stand said, as he shook his head at this.
"Why's that?" Naruto asked with a curious look on his face.
"No idea. It's not my job to ask the merchandise what it wants. I'm just here to sell it, kid" the man said, as he shrugged dismissively.
The fox lightly growled at this, showing he could clearly understand what the man was saying.
Naruto, seeing this, also scowled before he made a decision. "Hey pops, I'll take the fox" he said, as he reached into the bag Jiraiya had given him.
"Ha! Nice try kid, but I don't think a kid like you can afford to pay for -" the man was saying, before Naruto tossed him a gold coin.
"Is that enough?" Naruto asked, as he raised an eyebrow inquisitively.
After taking a look at the coin for a few moments, the man's eyes slightly widened in surprise, before he smiled brightly, as he approached the kitsune's cage and grabbed it, before handing it to Naruto. "A pleasure doing business with you, kid" he said with a smile.
"Yea, I bet" Naruto said with a scoff as he walked away, holding the kitsune in his arms.
As he walked away, he passed an alleyway, where several older teens had been watching this exchange
"What do you think, boys?" the biggest of the three teens asked, as he slightly smirked at the fact that they saw a kid, smaller than them, just buy a exotic pet like it was nothing.
"I think we should tell that kid how dangerous it is to throw money around like that" one of the teens said with a knowing grin.
"Yea" the third one said with a nod.
Back with Naruto, he approached a park nearby and sat down on a bench that was free, before he looked at the cage the kitsune was in, who looked at him curiously.
"Sorry if you had friends back at that stand, but I don't think my grandfather would like it if I brought back a bunch of pets with me when he's done with his business," Naruto said to the kitsune.
The fox shrugged at this, obviously communicating that he didn't mind.
"Heck, I don't think he will like the fact that I bought you. But I didn't like that you looked bored in that cage, and something tells me that you wouldn't like just being some rich person's pet" Naruto said, as he looked at the kitsune.
The kitsune started to gag at this, while he used its tail to point at his mouth, obviously showing that he didn't like this idea.
Naruto laughed at this, before he smiled. "Yea, I thought so. Ok, let me get you out of there" he said, as he started to fiddle with the latch on the cage.
"Hey tourist, do you always talk to animals?" one of the teen boys, who had been watching Naruto asked, as his two minions moved behind the bench behind the blonde.
"Huh? Well, he can obviously understand me, so why wouldn't I talk to him if he can communicate in his own way?" Naruto asked curiously, as he looked up from the cage at the teen boy.
The kitsune growled lightly at the teens, obviously agitated at the bad vibes the teens were giving off.
"Pfft, whatever. Look tourist, hand over the money you have, and me and my friends won't have to get rough with you and take it" the leader said, as he scoffed at this.
"Huh?" Naruto asked, as he tilted his head to the side slightly, before the two boys grabbed his arms from behind and pulled on them, making him drop the cage on the ground, causing the kitsune to bark in annoyance.
The leader smirked at this, as he kicked the cage aside, causing it to go rolling, and approached Naruto. Unknown to him, he had broken the door to the cage.
"Hey! That was unnecessary - and that's mine!" Naruto was yelling, before the leader reached into Naruto's pocket and took his bag of money.
"Wow, you have a lot, don't you? Say, what else you got, kid?" the leader asked, as he nodded at his two minions.
The big one nodded at this, as he reached behind Naruto and searched him, before he pulled out a kusarigama. "Eh? What's this thing?" the teen asked in confusion.
"It looks like some kind of fancy weapon to me, boss," the other teen said.
"Keep your hands off that!" Naruto yelled out, as the big teen handed the kusarigama to the leader, after he put away Naruto's bag of money.
"Huh, it looks well made. Now where would a brat like you get something like this?" the leader asked, as he held the two blades in his hands and looked at the well made chain.
"None of your business. Now give it back! It's important to me!" Naruto yelled, as he tried to get loose from the grip of the two older teens, but they had a good grip on him.
"Oh? Is that a fact? You do know it's just a weapon meant to hurt people, right kid? Kinda like this" the leader asked with a smirk, as he put one of the kusarigama's blades to Naruto's cheek.
"Hey! Stop that!" a voice yelled out, getting their attention.
The teens and Naruto looked to the side and saw a boy around Naruto's age with black eyes and spikey dark blue hair, with the back end looking like a duck's rear end.
"Stay out of it, Uchiha. Your dad may be a big shot, but you can't tell us what to do!" the skinny teen yelled
But before anyone could do anything else….
CHOMP!!!
"YOW!!!!" the leader yelled out, as he dropped the kusarigama and lifted his leg up, showing hanging from it was the kitsune that had been in the cage.
"Boss!" the two teens yelled in surprise and worry at seeing this.
But before they could do anything, Naruto took this chance to lift his leg and slam his foot into the crotch of the big one, causing him to let Naruto's arm go, so that Naruto could slam his knuckles into the skinny ones eyes, before he spun him into the big one, sending them both into the ground.
"You smacked my winkie" the big one wheezed out, his hands over his crotch.
"AAAAHHHH! Get him off! I think he's touching the bone!" the leader yelled, as he struggled to shake the mad kitsune off his leg, and eventually he got him off, sending the kitsune to the ground.
Naruto quickly ran and grabbed the kusarigama as he ran and jumped at the leader, and wrapped the chain on it around the leader's neck, before pulling hard, making him fall to his knees, as he started to choke him.
"Sugimoto!" the skinny one yelled, as he and the big one slowly got up and saw that their leader was at Naruto's mercy.
"Stay where you are or I'll pop his head like a grape" Naruto growled out, as he glared at the two teens, who quickly froze at this, before he glared at the teen at his mercy. "My money….now" he whispered softly, as he glared at the teen.
The teen nodded quickly at this, before he reached into his pocket and dropped the bag of money.
"Now, you're not gonna pull this kind of crap anymore, right?" Naruto asked, as he slightly pulled on the chains, applying pressure to the teens neck.
"N-no! We promise" the teen wheezed out, his face going purple.
"Great!" Naruto said, as he smiled at this, as he unwrapped the chain from around the teens neck and put his weapon away.
The leader quickly scampered off, with his two friends running after him. All three of them ran past the young boy, who had arrived to try and help, who had a look of surprise on his face at what he just saw happen.
Naruto looked at the fox, who walked over to him and noticed he had his bag of money, which the leader had dropped in his mouth.
"Heh, your good support for a fox. Kinda reminds me of this kitsune my mom told me stories about back home. I think his name was Kurama" Naruto said, as he took the bag and smiled at the fox.
The fox smiled at this and barked happily at this, as his tail wagged, obviously very happy with what he was hearing.
"Oh, you like that name, huh? I guess this means you're sticking with me then?" Naruto asked, as he put his bag away.
The fox barked again at this, as he nodded.
"Well, Kurama it is then" Naruto said with a smile and a nod at his new companion.
"How did you do that?!" the boy with blue hair yelled, as he ran over to Naruto and Kurama.
"Eh? Do what?" Naruto asked, as he looked at the boy curiously, while Kurama jumped onto Naruto's shoulder and sniffed at the new boy.
"What do you mean, do what?! You just defeated three teens way bigger than you easily! Who trained you? Are you looking to be a knight or a marine?!" the boy asked excitedly as he smiled at Naruto.
"Eh? Not really" Naruto said as he gained a bored look on his face, and started to pick his nose with his pinky.
This caused the boy to face plant at this, causing Kurama to start to snicker, as he found this funny.
(Later)
After the two boys had calmed down a bit, they had introduced themselves to each other and were now talking to each other.
"Ah, so you're a refugee who lost his home to pirates?" the now named Sasuke Uchiha asked curiously, as he looked at Naruto as he pet Kurama.
"Yea. My grandfather and I fled to the East Blue and he's been training me, so that when I'm grown up, I can go back home and free my home from the pirates who took it" Naruto said, as he looked at Sasuke.
"Why don't you go to the marines and ask them for help? I mean, it is their job to fight pirates and help people, after all" Sasuke asked curiously as he slightly frowned.
Naruto sighed at this, as he shook his head while he pet Kurama. "It's complicated" he said, as he knew if he said where he was from, then he would get a lot of questions and unwanted attention.
Sasuke's frown deepened at this for a few moments, before he nodded. "Ok. Then when I grow up and become a marine like my father, I'll make sure I look into helping you free your home from these pirates" he said.
Naruto blinked at this, before he looked at Sasuke. "And why would you do that?" he asked.
"Why wouldn't I? You and your home obviously need help, and helping people is what a good marine does" Sasuke said firmly, as he crossed his arms.
Naruto was silent for a few moments at this, before he chuckled.
"And besides, you're obviously a good person, even if you went a bit far with choking that one guy out," Sasuke said, as he gave Naruto a look of slight disapproval.
"Hey, I was going for intimidation through fear, so that they would give up!" Naruto yelled, as he looked at Sasuke with a look of annoyance.
"If you want to fight pirates, you will need more than tricks like that" Sasuke said as he shook his head.
"Yea. What I need is a Devil Fruit. Something that'll give me a boost" Naruto said with a smile, as he thought about his friend Luffy.
Sasuke paused at this, before he composed himself a bit. "You know, my dad has been helping the Government find Devil Fruits" he said.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at this, as he stopped petting Kurama. "Oh?" he asked curiously.
"Yea. From what I have heard, he has been hunting them for the Government to give to future officers, so that we can have an advantage against the pirates of the Grand Line" Sasuke said with a prideful smile.
"Huh. Well, too bad that I'm not a marine" Naruto said with a bored tone of voice, as he went back to petting Kurama.
Sasuke pouted at this dismissal, before he thought of something and smiled. "Hey, let's go to my place and ask my dad if you can join me in training to become a marine," he said with a smile.
"But I don't want -" Naruto was saying, before getting cut off.
"Oh, come on! We could both get really strong. And if we train with my dad, he could get us Devil Fruit's that would fit both of us, and then both of us can go free your home together!" Sasuke said with a smile, as he clenched his fists in excitement.
Naruto paused and thought about this, as this sounded like a really good way to get stronger, especially if it would get him better training and a Devil Fruit to boot. "Well -" he was saying, before he was cut off.
"Great! Then let's go talk to my dad! He should be done with his meeting by now" Sasuke said excitedly, as he grabbed Naruto's hand and dragged him towards the park's exit.
"H-hey! I'm perfectly capable of following you, ya know!" Naruto yelled, as he was dragged by Sasuke, with Kurama running after them and jumping onto his head.
As they left, they were being watched from one of the trees in the park by Jiraiya, who had been watching them.
"Damn it. Of all the marines brats he had to befriend, it had to be one of the ones in Doffy's pocket" Jiraiya thought as he frowned, as he quickly started to follow the two boys, as he knew that things might get ugly.
(Later with Naruto)
Naruto, Sasuke and Kurama were in front of a big mansion, complete with a gate.
"Lucky for me, the guards are on break. Come on" Sasuke said, as he opened the gate, before he looked back at Naruto, who was looking at Naruto and Kurama, who both had a stunned look on their faces, as they looked at the mansion.
"What?" Sasuke asked curiously, as he looked at his friend with a cocked eyebrow.
"Nothing! Let's go!" Naruto said, as he and Kurama quickly shook their heads, before he followed Sasuke into the mansion.
The two boys and kitsune quickly entered the mansion, and soon, Sasuke led Naruto into a big office with a desk and on the wall behind the desk, there was a big picture of Sasuke and three others. One was a woman with long hair and a kind smile, a man with a stern look and a teen with what looked like a blank look.
Kurama blew a raspberry at seeing the man in the picture, causing Naruto to tap him on the head.
"Hush. So, uh, is that your family?" Naruto asked curiously.
"Uh huh. Vice Admiral Fugaku Uchiha, his wife Mikoto and his two children Itachi and myself" Sasuke said with a smile.
Naruto nodded at this, as he looked at the picture.
"Ok, I'm gonna go look for my dad. You stay here and try to keep your pet from causing a scene" Sasuke said, as he approached the door and left.
Kurama blew a raspberry at Sasuke after the door closed.
"Oh, stop. He's not that bad. He's at least got the right mentality for a marine" Naruto said, as he looked at the kitsune on his shoulder.
Kurama said nothing to this, before his nose started to twitch, before he started to sniff the air.
"What do you smell, buddy?" Naruto asked, as the kitsune jumped off his shoulder and started to sniff around the office.
Kurama didn't respond to this and soon, he stopped and started to paw at the big painting of the Uchiha Family.
"What? You smell something behind there?" Naruto asked curiously, as he approached the painting.
Kurama barked at this, as he pawed at the painting and soon, the painting moved and opened, showing that the painting was actually a door.
"Figures there's a safe behind that thing" Naruto said with a sigh, as he approached the safe. "Well, if he's dumb enough to have his safe hidden in an obvious spot, it won't hurt to take a peak" he said, as he took out his kusarigama, which he used the tip of one of the blades to attempt to pick the lock.
After a few moments of this, the lock unlocked and the safe opened.
"Ah ha! Got it!" Naruto said with a smile, as he opened the safe and took a look inside it, seeing a bag.
Kurama watched this for a few moments, before his ears twitched, before he looked at the door to the room and barked at Naruto in warning.
"Gah! Quick, hide!" Naruto yelled in a panic, as he quickly grabbed the bag, before he ran and hid under the desk with Kurama following him.
As this happened, the door opened and an older man entered the room, and paused, as he looked around, seeing that his safe was open. This was Vice Admiral Fugaku Uchiha.
"The safe is open? How?!" Fugaku yelled, as he ran over to the safe and looked inside it. "Damn it, the Devil Fruits are gone!" he yelled, as he slammed the safe closed.
"Devil Fruits?" Naruto thought, as his eyes widened as Kurama stuffed his head into the bag, and a crunching sound was heard, before Naruto grabbed him and pulled him out, seeing he had what looked like a half eaten apple with swirls in his mouth.
Purururu purururu purururu purururu
Fugaku quickly approached his desk and reached into the dresser drawer. Naruto made sure to take care to keep Kurama silent, as the man took out a transponder snail, which had what looked like red sunglasses on its eyes.
"Yes sir?" Fugaku asked, as he answered the snail.
{"Ah, Fugaku! I heard you were able to find one of the fruits that I have had trouble locating"} a very smug voice said, as the snail smiled widely.
Fugaku sat down at his desk and reached into his dresser drawer, and took out a file. "Yes sir. I found the fruit that matches the description in the file you gave out to all your operatives. I even found two bonus fruits to throw in with it; the Breath Breath Fruit and the Bird Bird Fruit Mythical model: Tengu" he said with a smile
{"Eh, you can keep those two. Just make sure you keep that other one safe, until we can arrange for a secure pickup for it in a few days. I would hate to have to make an example of you, if you were to lose that fruit, Fugaku"} the snail said, not losing its smile, but still having a very threatening undertone.
"Of course, Joker. I'll make sure the fruit is ready when Corazon arrives" Fugaku said as he nodded.
"Joker? As in the black market dealer grandpa has been trying to go after with his friends?!" Naruto thought in a panic, as he had overheard some of Jiraiya's conversations with his fellow revolutionaries.
Kurama took this chance to pull his mouth loose from Naruto and swallowed his Devil Fruit, before hanging his tongue out, obviously not happy with the taste.
"Zip it, you fool! Here, eat this and zip it!" Naruto whispered, as he took out some candy and shoved it in Kurama's mouth, not taking into account the fire symbol on the package.
{"Excellent! Keep up the great work"} the now named Joker said, before he hung up, causing the snail's eyes to close and lower with a gacha.
"Damn it. If I don't find that fruit, I'm finished and I can't go to the Government on this one. Who could have taken that damn fruit?" Fugaku asked, as he stood up and started to look around for any clues.
As he did this, Kurama swallowed the candy Naruto had given him, before he started to sweat and paw and shake in Naruto's hands from the heat from the candy.
"Kurama, no" Naruto whispered as he panicked a bit.
Fugaku turned around and looked at his desk and glared, as he finally looked at the space under his desk, spotting Naruto and saw the bag Naruto had in one of his hands.
"Uh. I can explain?" Naruto said with a sheepish chuckle.
"You can explain it to the marines, you little brat!" Fugaku yelled out, as he stomped his way over.
Suddenly Kurama, feeling his limit on the pressure on whatever was building up inside him being reached, opened his mouth and fired a blast of fire at the Vice Admiral.
The Vice Admiral blinked at this, but blocked with his arms, which had turned black, before he was sent flying into the wall and sent through it, from the amount of force behind the attack.
The force of the attack also sent Naruto and the desk he was hiding under flying to the opposite end of the room, sending the paperwork flying all over the place.
Soon, Kurama stopped shooting fire from his mouth and he fell to the ground, panting for breath, before he burped, sending out some smoke.
"Woah. That must be that Breath Breath Fruit" Naruto said, as he got up and approached Kurama and picked him up, along with the bag that he had taken from the safe.
As he did this, Fugaku growled as he walked back into his burning office, completely unaffected by the attack from the kitsune, except for some burns. "You and your little pet are dead, you little brat!" he yelled, as he charged at Naruto, his arms turning black once more.
CRASH!
Suddenly, what looked like a red humanoid toad with long white hair wearing Jiraiya's clothes burst through the ceiling, and landed on top of Fugaku.
"Hands off my grandson, Uchiha" Jiraiya said with a scowl, as he grabbed the Vice Admiral by his hair, as he stomped on his back.
"Grandpa?! Naruto yelled, surprised at the sudden arrival of his grandfather.
"Leave now! I'll meet up with you later! Now go!" Jiraiya yelled, as he picked up Fugaku and threw him through a wall, before hopping after him.
Naruto nodded at this and ran out the door with Kurama on his shoulder, as he made his way towards the exit. But as he ran out of the office, he spotted Sasuke, who was looking at Naruto with wide eyes.
"Sasuke! Come on, we have to go!" Naruto yelled in a panic, as he heard what sounded like a fight going on behind him.
Sasuke said nothing to this, as he looked at the ground. "You didn't say that your grandfather was Jiraiya of the Revolutionary Army" he said as he clenched his fists tightly.
Naruto's eyes widened at this, as he realized with what had just happened and the fight that was going on now, he didn't look the best. "Sasuke -" Naruto was saying, before being cut off.
"You pretended to be my friend, so that you could give your grandfather an opening to try and kill my father!" Sasuke yelled, as he glared at Naruto with a hate filled look.
"That's not true!" Naruto yelled back as he frowned.
"Everything was a lie! The Revolutionary Army is the world's enemy and you obviously are too! You even stole my father's Devil Fruits!" Sasuke yelled, as he pointed at the bag Naruto was holding, before he grabbed at it and started to pull on it.
"I wasn't lying! The Revolutionary Army helped us when we lost our home!" Naruto yelled, as he held onto the bag, refusing to let it go.
"Then you should have died with your home!" Sasuke yelled in a rage, as he pulled on the bag, clearly upset at what was going on and not thinking straight.
But Naruto didn't think of this. All he could think of was his home and his parents, and how everyone there was suffering under the pirates who invaded, before he growled before….
POW!!!!
RIIIP!!!
He slugged Sasuke hard in the nose, causing him to go flying and the bag they were both holding to rip, sending two Devil Fruits to the floor. One was a pear, that was very ashy looking and it landed at Naruto's feet, while the other was a mango that was purple and not only had the same swirls as the pear, but it seemed to have patterns that were the shape of feathers on it, which had landed near Sasuke.
Sasuke yelled in pain, while he held his broken nose, as Naruto grabbed him by his shirt and held his fist up, ready to slug him again.
"If you ever mention my home again I'll kill you, you piece of trash!" Naruto yelled, as he went to slug Sasuke again.
But suddenly, he heard another crash, as the roof started to fall down towards them.
Naruto quickly jumped back, as the burning roof separated him from Sasuke, who was cut off from him.
"Damn it! Now we're trapped" Naruto said as he looked around, seeing that there was no way out of here
Kurama slapped Naruto's ear and barked, as he pointed at the Devil Fruit near his feet.
"Yes, I could eat it. But what if it gives me something worthless?" Naruto said, as he picked up the ashy looking pear.
Kurama barked as he pointed at the roaring fire around them with his tails.
"……point made!" Naruto yelled, as he took a bite of the pear and suddenly, his face turned green before he swallowed. "Gah! It feels like eating sweaty socks!"
Naruto then looked around, as he tried to focus on what power he now had inside him.
He then looked across the burning room, and looked outside a window and saw a nearby rooftop through the smoke….. before he disappeared, along with Kurama in a burst of smoke.
As he did this, a piece of paper was on the ground that had a picture of the Devil Fruit Naruto had just eaten, but it was burning away and half the name was gone, leaving only the words Human Human Fruit: Mythical - before it was cut off by the flames.
(With Naruto)
"Huh?" Naruto said in surprise, as he looked around and saw that he was now on top of a rooftop.
Kurama looked around in surprise too, before he barked and pointed at the burning building across the street from them.
"Eh? Wait, that's Sasuke's house" Naruto said, as he looked across the street and saw it was surrounded by people, who were trying to put the fire out and he saw what looked like people dragging a knocked out Sasuke out of the building, before he was grabbed by what looked like his mother and older brother.
Kurama tilted his head to the side and looked at Naruto curiously.
"I think I somehow moved to where I wanted, just by thinking about it. Huh, cool Devil Fruit power" Naruto said with a grin.
Kurama blew a raspberry at this, as he turned his head at this, obviously not impressed.
"Oh please, all you did was burn a house down and piss off a Vice Admiral - oh jeez, grandpa! He got into a fight with that guy!" Naruto was saying with a scoff, before he realized what had happened and looked at the burning building.
"Relax, brat, I'm right here," Jiraiya said, announcing his presence from behind Naruto.
"Gah! Don't do that! And I wasn't worried about you, ya old pervert!" Naruto yelled, as he jumped a bit, before he turned to look at Jiraiya, while Kurama barked at him in annoyance.
Jiraiya chuckled at this, before he tousled his grandson's hair a bit, before he looked at Kurama. "What's with the fox, brat?" he asked curiously.
"A new friend that I made. He helped me out, while I was in there before you showed up. And you will be happy to know that we both now have Devil Fruit powers" Naruto said with a proud smile along with Kurama.
POW!
"Gah! What's your deal, old man?!" Naruto yelled, as he held his head, while Kurama barked in anger at Jiraiya.
"You almost got yourself killed trying to steal a Devil Fruit! And you almost compromised my mission, brat! You're lucky that I was able to get the evidence I had on that Vice Admiral to my contact in this kingdom, so I'm not compromised" Jiraiya yelled, as he scowled at Naruto.
"Wait, so Sasuke's dad is busted?" Naruto asked curiously.
"Take a look," Jiraiya said, as he pointed down at the street below.
Naruto looked down at the street below, and saw what looked like a group of marine officers, who were escorting a beaten and cuffed Fugaku away. One of the marines had glasses over their eyes, a small beard and short dark hair with side burns. He wore a white knee-length trench coat, which had a quilted design on it, that stopped just below his waist, along with two black pockets slightly above the chest on either side. Under the coat, he was wearing a mauve-colored shirt with a purple-colored ascot embedded with a red jewel, with a golden-yellow outline at the top in the tie. He also wore black-colored gloves, and had what looked like a piece of bacon stuck on his cheek. This was Vice Admiral Vergo.
"It's very disappointing that a marine of your status has reduced yourself to selling Devil Fruits to pirates for a profit, Uchiha. Come in quietly, and I promise that your family won't be dragged down with you" Vergo said with a firm tone, as he looked at Fugaku with a firm look that said he wasn't bluffing.
Fugaku said nothing to this, before he nodded and let himself be led away by his cuffed arms.
"It's not true! It's all a lie!" Sasuke yelled, as he was held back by Itachi and his mother.
"Sasuke, stop. There is nothing we can do. They have evidence" Itachi said.
"It's a lie! That Revolutionary planted lies to destroy my father! Him and that bastard grandson of his!" Sasuke yelled angrily, as he clenched his fists in anger, as his father was taken away.
Naruto watched this from the rooftop and sighed, as he felt a little guilty, as he knew that this was kinda his fault. But most of this was on Fugaku's head, as he was guilty.
"Come on brat, we need to go and I suppose that your new friend can come too. He's house broken though, right?" Jiraiya asked, as he looked at Kurama curiously.
Kurama blew a raspberry at Jiraiya at this, sending spit flying at the old man.
"Wonderful. He's a smart ass, just like you" Jiraiya said with a sigh, as he led the way.
Naruto smiled at Kurama at this, as he followed after his grandfather.
(Sometime later, with Sasuke)
Sasuke sat in his hotel room glaring, as he was covered in bandages from his wounds and looked at the Devil Fruit that he had been able to get from Naruto. "I will become a marine and hunt you down Uzumaki! And I will make you tell the world the truth about what you and your grandfather did to my family" he thought, as he grabbed the fruit and took a bite of it.
(Flashback finished)
Sasuke looked at Naruto's wanted poster, as he cleared his thoughts about the past and what he had been training for.
"Captain smoker sir! We have a sighting of Straw Hat Luffy!" a marine yelled, as he ran into the room and gave a salute.
"Report" Smoker said firmly, as he looked at his subordinate.
"We have captured some of Buggy the Clown's pirates, and they have told us a plan they have to capture Straw Hat in the town square," the marine said.
"Good. We can capture them all in one fell swoop" Smoker said, as he walked out of the room.
Sasuke said nothing to this, as he followed his captain along with Tashigi, knowing that if Straw Hat Luffy was gonna be there, then Naruto would be there too.

Sanji kicked the kitchen door open carrying plates of food as the crew smiled.

The soon set the table eating the feast that their cook had prepared for them, Naruto slurping down a massive bowl of ramen. After they finished they noticed a piece of meat left on a plate, Ussop, Luffy, and Sanji glared at each other leaping at the piece biting and pulling on each others cheeks. They were on the headpiece of the Merry fighting Luffy tossed the piece up ready to eat it but Naruto quickly snatched it before Luffy could reach it making him face fault as he ate it laughing.
