Luffy smiled wildly as he ran across the grassy mountain top, suddenly a black blur zipped past him revealing a grinning Naruto, Luffy's smile grew as he sped up running alongside his friend as they jumped off the cliff holding out their hands as the deep blue sea stood over them. As if sensing an adventure, Zorro, Nami, Ussop, and Sanji turned towards the direction of the east.

Luffy jumped into the air rearing back his fist, his hand gripped the the crows nest of of the main sail of the Going Merry as he pulled himself towards the ship with a massive grin on his face. Naruto teleported across the ocean kicking up ward as he ran towards the Going Merry jumping into the air with a wide toothy grin.
The title shoots forward in front of a massive map.

The Going Merry sails through the every wide and expanding east blew, Sea Kings, massive fish, and various other sea creatures shoot up from the water creating large creating massive waves splashes the shook the ship. The Straw Hat crew looked on with amazement as Luffy hung from upside down from the deck of the ship.
The ship swam across the map jumping, and splashing along the way .

Naruto drew his katana running across the ship slashing with jet black strikes, he jumped into the air switching his weapon to a kusanagi swinging it downwards.
Zorro was surrounded on all sides by enemy pirates and with one swing of his swords blew them all away. Ussop took aim with his sling shot firing his an egg hitting one man in the face before Nami struck him in the back of the head with an iron pipe smirking. Sanji did a handstand kicking around his feet knocking away the other enemy pirates.

A red eyed sea king rushed through the water opening it's jaws but Luffy simply grinned rearing his fist back and smashing it hard into the Sea Kings right cheek knocking it out cold. Naruto and Luffy land back to back on the ship's deck looking at each other as they grin before looking up at the horizon.

Above them were the images of Alvida, Buggy, Kuro, Kreig, Smoker, and a cloaked man above them were the silhouettes of seven unknown figures dressed in long cloakes with glowing red eyes, and above them were four large figures. One looked down at Naruto grinning at it reached downard at him causing Naruto to roar jumping into the air swinging at punch at them.

Luffy spun his straw hat around on his finger tips while Naruto looked at the Uzumaki clan tattoo on his shoulder. As they did Shanks appeared in a world of pure light with the straw hat on his head giving a grin as Uta jumped into the air with her arms raised and a smile on her face before turning away as they other red haired pirates Ben, Yassop, and Lucky, Minato appeared next with his arm around Kushina's waist both smiling as he followed behind the Red Haired pirates.

(With Naruto)
Naruto was making his way through town, while Kurama sat on his shoulder, his new Katana on his hip.
"Hmmm. Now, if I was Luffy, where would I be?" Naruto mused, as he thought to himself for a moment.
Kurama barked at this and pointed at a restaurant nearby with his tail.
"Hmmmmm. Not a bad idea, but I think that Luffy said he was gonna head for the execution platform" Naruto said, as he walked past the restaurant.
Kurama pouted lightly at this.
"...you just wanted to go in and eat, didn't you?" Naruto asked, as he gave him a flat look.
Kurama looked to the side at this, as he whistled innocently.
"Nice try, you just ate some jalapeno peppers," Naruto said with a chuckle, as he petted his friend on the head.
As he arrived at what looked like the town square, Naruto took note of what looked like storm clouds forming in the sky.
"Huh, it looks like a bad storm is coming. We better find Luffy and get back to the ship, pronto" Naruto said, as he looked at the sky.
Kurama barked at this, before he swatted at Naruto's head and pointed with his tails.
"Eh? Oh, damn it, Luffy!" Naruto yelled out, as he looked where Kurama was pointing and saw what looked like Luffy sitting on the execution platform, with what looked like Buggy standing over him with a sword drawn.
"Oh, hey Naruto," Luffy said with a smile at his friend.
"Don't hey me, you moron! What the hell is going on?!" Naruto yelled out, as he took out his blade.
"Since when do you have that?" Zoro asked curiously, as he and Sanji arrived
"Since right now" Naruto yelled, as he quickly teleported, avoiding an attack from a giant mace, which smashed into the ground.
He then appeared a bit away from a woman, who was wearing a cowboy hat, a purple coat and capri pants.
"I was hoping to see you again, Ghost. I owe you for making my crew look like fools, along with your pet" the woman said, as she raised her mace and rested it on her shoulder.
"Huh? Do I know you?" Naruto asked as he tilted his head to the side along with Kurama
"It makes sense that you don't recognise me, since my freckles have disappeared," the woman said with a smile.
"She says she's Alvida," Luffy said with a shrug.
"Alvida?! Where?! Quick, hide the chocolate!" Naruto yelled, as he looked around in a panic.
"Gahahahahahahahaha!" Buggy burst out laughing madly at this.
"I'm Alvida, you whiskered idiot! And I'll get you for laughing, you clown!" Alvida yelled out in a rage.
"Wait, your Alvida? Oh wow, you must have gone on a hard core diet! What, did you tie a cake on a string to your head and chase it?" Naruto asked curiously, while Kurama snickered at this.
"GAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Luffy and Buggy laughed loudly at this.
"You're dead!" Alvida yelled, as she leaped at Naruto with her mace raised high in the air.
Naruto just smirked at this, as he pulled out a smoke bomb and threw it down, before teleporting out of the way, filling the area Alvida landed in with a thick smoke.
"Oh god, it's tear gas!" some of the pirates yelled in a panic, as they all started to cough.
"You cheating blonde bastard!" Alvida bellowed out, as she walked out of the smoke, coughing and her eyes red and watering from the tear gas.
"Pirate" Naruto simply said with a smirk, as he ran towards the execution platform, but was stopped by several more pirates.
"Not so fast, Ghost!" the pirates yelled, as they took out their swords.
Kurama jumped off Naruto's shoulder and opened his mouth, before he fired a blast of fire at the pirates, lighting them ablaze.
"Ahhhhhh!" the pirates yelled, as they all ran away and attempted to put themselves out.
"Stop, drop and roll!" one of the pirates yelled out.
"We need to get to the execution platform!" Sanji yelled, as he kicked a pirate out of his way, as they made their way forward.
"Working on it!" Naruto yelled, as he tried to get a clear line of sight at Luffy, but Buggy's men kept distracting him.
"Hahaha, you're too late!" Buggy yelled with a laugh, as he raised his blade, while the sky flashed with lightning.
"Naruto! Kurama! Zoro! Nami! Usopp! Sanji! Heh sorry, but I'm dead!" Luffy yelled with a big smile, as Buggy's blade came down at him.
"Get out of my way!" Naruto yelled out, as he slashed at the pirates in front of him with his blade.
BOOM!
Suddenly, lightning struck down at the execution platform, striking it and destroying it.
Everyone looked at the destroyed platform in shock, as it started to rain and Luffy's hat fell down to the ground and landed in front of the now free rubber man.
"Hey, what do you know? It's my lucky day!" Luffy yelled, as he picked up his hat and put it on his head and smiled.
"……do either of you believe in Divine Intervention?" Sanji asked Zoro and Naruto.
"Don't be a moron" Zoro said as he scoffed at this.
"Whether it's destiny or dumb luck, I say we don't question it and get out of here!" Naruto yelled.
"Works for me! let's go to the Grand Line!" Luffy yelled, before he ran down the road, away from the town square.
"Oi, wait for us!" Zoro yelled as he, Sanji, Naruto and Kurama ran after him.
"Roronoa Zoro!" a female voice yelled out, causing them to see a woman with short blue hair, a pair of glasses on her head and a sword in her hand glaring at them.
"Oh jeez, not you again!" Zoro yelled, as he scowled in annoyance.
"Who's she Zoro? A secret girlfriend?" Naruto asked with a grin.
"Don't make me hurt you, whiskers!" Zoro yelled, as he drew one of his swords.
"Oi! Don't attack a lady, moss head!" Sanji yelled, as Zoro attacked the girl.
"Stop being a moron and get going!" Naruto yelled at him, as he tried to run, but stopped as a figure landed in front of him.
"We have business, Ghost" Sasuke said with a hard tone, as he glared at Naruto.
Naruto sighed at this, as he took out his kusarigama.
"Not gonna use your katana?" Sasuke asked, as he held his weapon at the ready.
"Is that a 21 Great Grade sword?!" the girl that was fighting Zoro yelled out in surprise, at the katana on Naruto's hip.
"Focus, Tashigi" Sasuke said, as he took out what looked like a naginata and pointed the blade at Naruto.
"Luffy, Sanji get moving. Me and Zoro have this. We will catch up," Naruto said firmly, as he kept his eyes on Sasuke.
Luffy nodded at this, as he dragged Sanji away from the fight and made his escape.
"I have waited a long time for this, Uzumaki," Sasuke said, as he glared at Naruto.
"Still blaming me for your dad being a sellout?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
Sasuke growled at this, as he shot forward at Naruto, his body becoming covered in feathers, as his naginata's blade was engulfed in black flames, as he swung it at Naruto.
Naruto quickly teleported out of the way, as the naginata blade missed him and easily cut through a pillar behind him and lit it ablaze.
Naruto appeared on a rooftop and looked down at Sasuke, seeing that he had transformed into what looked like a half man half crow, only his face was now red and his nose was now quite long.
Sasuke then took to the sky, hovering above Naruto, as the tengu devil fruit user reared his naginata back, swiping his sword, sending several blazing arrows of fire down towards Naruto.
The blond pirate jumped back, evading the blasts, as they came down on him. He swiped at Sasuke, and just as the blade came in range, he flew back evading the strike.
He then dived forward at Naruto, as he tied the chain around his arm, jumping into the air throwing his blade upward with Sasuke flying upwards, once more evading the strike. He then zips down, cutting Naruto's arm, then another strike cutting into his side, then into his shoulder, then next his leg.
As Sasuke came down to attack again, Naruto teleported, evading this strike. Then suddenly, Sasuke reappeared behind him, slashing him across the back, making Naruto scream out in pain, falling to his knee, as he glared up at the black flash zipping through the sky.
"Crap! He's actually able to keep up with pure speed!" Naruto thought, as he tried to avoid more strikes from Sasuke.
Kurama growled at this, before he inhaled and sent a blast of fire at Sasuke, who took off into the air with his wings, as the roof he was perched on was set ablaze.
"You're not getting away, Uzumaki," Sasuke said, as he swung his weapon at Naruto, sending more black fire arrows at Naruto.
Naruto quickly warped away, before he appeared in front of Sasuke, with the two youths' blades colliding with each other, sparks flying around them. Sasuke smashed his talon leg into Naruto's chest, cutting into his chest and knocking him down.
Naruto then flipped to his feet, as he pulled back his kusarigama, throwing it towards Sasuke. But he once again dodges the attack, flying through the sky.
Naruto warped into the sky, throwing and swinging the blade of the kusarigama through the air, shifting and teleporting around the sky, trying to keep up with Sasuke's speed, as the two flew through in the air.
Sasuke blocked and knocked away every one of his blade strikes he dived over, cutting into Naruto's chest knocking him to the ground..
He looked downward to his sheathed katana and unsheathed it.
As he did this, Kurama shoved his face into Naruto's pocket and ate a blue treat.
"Don't think that will save you" Sasuke said, as he flew at Naruto, ready to end this.
Naruto took a stance, gripping the fallen sword tightly while lowering his head, before taking a deep breath, as a spark -like breath leaks from his mouth. He gripped the handle of his sword, spreading his legs apart, before his eyes shot open, electricity surging through his body. He zipped forward like a bolt of lightning, flying through the sky charging towards Sasuke, before he could even see Naruto zipped past him, cutting into Sasuke across the chest.
Sasuke gasped, coughing up blood from the wound, falling toward the ground hard.
"Lightning breathing seems to work just fine, when teleportation is too predictable" Naruto said, as he sheathed his Katana, while Sasuke turned into his human form.
"T-this isn't over!" Sasuke growled, as he forced himself to his feet and turned to look at Naruto.
As Naruto turned to look at Sasuke, Kurama jumped out of his sleeve and opened his mouth and fired what looked like a blast of icy mist, which engulfed Sasuke and soon he was encased in ice.
"Vice Captain Uchiha!" some marines yelled, as they approached with their rifles.
"And that's our cue, so wrap it up Zoro!" Naruto yelled, as Kurama jumped onto his shoulder.
"I'm just finishing up" Zoro said, as he disarmed Tashigi and placed his blade at her neck, before walking away.
"Why? Why do you not finish me off? Is it because I'm a woman?!" Tashigi yelled after Zoro.
"Gah, will you shut up?! Stop imitating my dead friend!" Zoro yelled out in frustration.
"What did you say?! I'm not imitating anyone! If anything, maybe she imitated me!" Tashigi yelled at Zoro.
"Move, you idiot!" Naruto yelled as he ran off, while Kurama barked at him, as the marines ran after them.
"Alright, alright!" Zoro yelled, as he sheathed his katana and ran after Naruto.
"Get back here!" Tashigi yelled, as she ran after them, with the marines following her.
"So, what did you do to get that girl angry at you? Did she ask you out, but you turned her down?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow, as they ran from the marines.
Zoro gave Naruto a glare at this. "Hardly. She doesn't like the fact that she thinks I'm using my swords for evil means. Why does feather boy hate you?" he asked curiously.
"His dad was a corrupt man, and he blames me for narking on him, causing him to end up in prison" Naruto said with a shrug.
"Ah. So what's with the katana?" Zoro asked, as he looked at the katana on Naruto's hip.
"A gift from my grandfather. He thinks I should have it, before I head for the Grand Line" Naruto said, as they continued to run.
"I want a spar later!" Zoro yelled with a grin at this, as he had noticed Naruto's final move against Sasuke.
Naruto chuckled at this, before the wind suddenly picked up, which caused him and Zoro to be sent flying down the road.
And suddenly, just as quickly as it started, the wind stopped.
"Ugh, what happened?" Naruto groaned out, as he held his head.
"I've no idea" Zoro said, as he shook his head and stood up, revealing that he had landed on Luffy.
"Owwww" Luffy groaned out.
"Luffy? Why aren't you on the Going Merry already?" Naruto asked.
"I got attacked by this marine captain, that can turn into smoke, before I was sent flying by this wind" Luffy said, as he pouted at the fact he couldn't hurt his opponent.
"A Logia and a Mythical Zoan type in the East Blue? We're lucky we're even at the docks, now" Naruto said, as he looked around and saw that they were indeed at the docks.
"There's the Merry!" Zoro yelled, as he pointed out at sea, where the ship was sailing away.
"Leave it to me, guys! Gum Gum Rocket!" Luffy yelled, as he grabbed Zoro and Naruto with one arm, as he sent his free arm at the ship and grabbed the mast, before he pulled them all towards it.
"LUFFY, IF WE DIE, I'LL KILL YOU!!" Zoro yelled, as they all flew at the ship, before…..
CRASH!
They all slammed into the deck of the ship.
"Hahaha, that was fun," Luffy said with a laugh, as he stood up.
"Ugh. I think I left my lunch back there." Naruto groaned out, as he held his head.
Kurama barked at this, as he laid on the ground, with swirls in his eyes.
"Must resist the urge to kill moronic captain," Zoro said, as he stood up.
"So, which way, Nami Swan?" Sanji asked, as he twirled around.
"Head for the lighthouse. Oh, and before I forget," Nami was saying, before she slugged Naruto in the back of the head.
"OW! What the heck was that for?!" Naruto yelled, as he stood up and glared at Nami.
"You ditched me back in town! And for what? To get a sword and be a meathead like Zoro?!" Nami yelled back at Naruto.
"Oi, Oi, Oi!" Zoro said, as he looked annoyed at this dig at him.
"You got a sword now, Naruto?" Luffy asked curiously, as he and Usopp looked at Naruto, more specifically, at the katana on his hip.
"Yea, it's a gift from my grandfather to celebrate me heading to the Grand Line," Naruto said, as he smiled.
"Yea, yea, yea. Stop showing off and help get this ship moving, already!" Nami yelled, as the storm was still going.
"Right! Let's go to the Grand Line!" Luffy yelled out excitedly.
"Yeah!" everyone yelled, as they pumped their fists into the air, before they all scrambled to maneuver the ship.
(Back with Sasuke)
Back at the city street where Naruto had left Sasuke frozen, he had been freed from the ice by his fellow marines and was now being looked over by a doctor, while Smoker and Tashigi stood nearby with some other marines.
"Looks like the Ghost is more skilled than we thought, if he was actually able to get the drop on you, Sasuke" Smoker said, as he looked at his subordinate.
"I underestimated him. I didn't think he could actually fight with a katana, since all reports have said he only fought with a kusarigama up to now" Sasuke said with a scowl, as he looked at the scar on his chest from Naruto's attack.
"And with one of the 21 Great Grade swords too" Tashigi said, as she frowned at the fact that a pirate had such a sword in their possession.
"I have never let a pirate escape me since I have been stationed here and I'm not starting now," Smoker said, as he turned to look at the sky.
"Sir?" Tashigi asked, wondering what her captain was thinking.
"Men, prepare to go pursue those pirates! We're heading for the Grand Line!" Smoker yelled to his men.
"But sir, headquarters won't like us just leaving town!" one of the marines yelled, as he saluted Smoker.
"I don't care! Straw Hat faced death and just laughed! There is no way we can let him get to the Grand Line!" Smoker said as he glared at his men, who all yelped in surprise, before running off to go follow his orders.
Sasuke stood up and approached Smoker. "I'm with you, sir. I refuse to let this be how it ends between me and Uzumaki" he said, as he narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists.
"Me too, sir! Roronoa Zoro made me look like a fool and I will bring him to justice and confiscate his swords, along with the Ghost's!" Tashigi said, as she nodded at this.
Smoker nodded at this, as he led them towards the docks.
(With the Going Merry)
Everyone was helping to guide the ship, as it made its way towards the lighthouse.
"Follow the light! It is pointing towards the entrance to the Grand Line!" Nami yelled, as she pointed at where the lighthouse was pointing.
"Isn't that kinda like asking us to die - oi!" Naruto was asking, before a plate thrown by Nami hit him in the head.
"Stop being a smartass and get the ship moving!" Nami yelled, as she pointed.
"Yes dear" Naruto said with an exaggerated feeble tone, as he went back to helping with the sail.
Sanji gawked at this. "You dare mock Nami Swan?!" he yelled out.
"Only when she makes it easy" Naruto said with a grin, as he kept his grip on the masts rope.
"Hey, I can see something ahead!" Usopp yelled from the crows nest, as he looked ahead while wearing a headset, with a pair of goggles that he can move up and down.
"What do you see?" Zoro asked, as he looked up at Usopp.
"The storm is calming down, so everyone inside so that I can explain" Nami said, as she went inside the main cabin of the ship.
Everyone went inside and sat around the table, where Nami laid out a map.
"Okay, now according to this map, there is a canal up the mountain up ahead, that will lead us up the mountain and into the Grand Line" Nami said, as she pointed at the mountain on the map.
"We're sailing up a mountain? Usopp asked, surprised at this reveal.
"How the heck does that work? It sounds impossible" Zoro said with a raised eyebrow.
"Like I said, it will lead us up the mountain and then we will sail downwards" Nami said, as she trained her finger on the map, showing them the path.
"Huh. So I guess it's like a test, to see if we're good enough to enter the Grand Line" Naruto said, as he looked at the map.
"That, or crazy enough" Sanji said, as he took a drag of his cigarette.
"My grandpa said that the best survivors of the Grand Line are a little crazy," Naruto said with a smile at this.
"So we're actually going to do this?" Usopp asked worriedly, as he was hoping that they would turn back.
"You bet we are! We're not turning back now!" Luffy yelled happily, as they all went outside to help guide the ship up the mountain
"It looks like we only get one shot to get the ship on the right path!" Usopp yelled, as he looked ahead with his telescope.
"Then we better make it count!" Naruto yelled, as he helped Zoro pull on the rope to guide the mast.
Soon the ship was getting closer and closer to the archway, which led them to the path up the mountain.
"I see it, but I still can't believe it," Zoro said with wide eyes, as they all saw water going up the mountain.
"We are too far to the left!" Nami yelled out in warning.
"AAAAHHHH! We're gonna die before even entering the Grand Line!" Usopp yelled in a panic.
Luffy quickly jumped off the side of the ship in between the ship and the archway.
"Gum Gum Balloon!" Luffy yelled, as he inflated himself just as the ship slammed into him, squishing him against the archway, before he bounced the ship back and onto the path up the mountain.
"Luffy!" Zoro, Sanji, Usopp and Nami yelled in a panic at this.
Before Luffy could fall into the sea below, Naruto appeared next to him and grabbed him, before he teleported again, appearing on the deck of the ship with both of them slamming onto the deck.
"Nice save you two" Nami said, as she sighed in relief, as she came down the stairs onto the deck of the ship.
"Aw, you do care - ow!" Naruto was saying as he got up, before Nami slapped him on the back of the head.
"Don't get smart with me, whiskers! You still owe me for ditching me!" Nami yelled at Naruto.
"You ditched Nami Swan, while in town?! Have you no shame?!" Sanji yelled at Naruto, before he sent a kick at him.
Which missed, as Naruto teleported and appeared up on the crows nest.
"Come down here and take your punishment like a man!" Sanji yelled, as he glared up at Naruto.
"No thanks! I want to see the view when we reach the top!" Naruto said with a smile, as he looked ahead as the ship went up the mountain.
"We're almost to the top!" Luffy yelled, as he ran to the front of the ship and jumped onto his special seat on the Merry's figurehead to take a look.
Soon the Merry reached the top and everyone looked in awe at the fact that they reached the top of the mountain in such a short amount of time.
"Woohoo! We're on top of the world!" Luffy yelled, as he held out his arms excitedly.
"Wow, this is incredible," Usopp said with a smile at the great view.
"I told you guys this would work," Nami said with a smile, as the ship started to go down the canal, which would lead them to the Grand Line proper.
Naruto smiled at this, as he looked ahead at the massive open sea. "It all starts here. I'm on my way back to free Wano" he thought, as he gripped his katana tightly.
Kurama poked his head out of Naruto's clothes and smiled, as he looked at the view, as the ship made its way downward.
As they went downward, they heard what sounded like a deep groaning sound.
"What the heck is that?" Zoro asked, as he raised an eyebrow.
As the ship went downwards, the mist started to clear up and they saw what looked like a massive wall coming up quickly in front of them.
"Is that a mountain?!" Sanji asked in shock.
"No, it's probably a ship!" Usopp yelled in a panic.
"It's a whale!" Naruto yelled as he focused on what was ahead of them, and saw that it was indeed a massive whale.
"A whale?!" everyone yelled in a panic at this.
"We need to stop the ship!" Nami yelled at everyone, as they were coming up fast on the whale.
"I have an idea!" Luffy yelled, as he ran inside the front cabin of the ship.
And after a few seconds the front cannon fired, slowing the ship just before it could crash into the large whale, but hitting the whale.
"YOU IDIOT!!!!" everyone yelled at this, even Kurama, who was barking loudly.
"Whew, we stopped" Luffy said with a grin, as he wiped his forehead, as he came out onto the deck.
Before Kurama jumped onto his head and started to bite on his head.
"Get him off!" Luffy yelled, as he started to run around in a panic, while he tried to get the mad fox off.
He then stopped running, as the figurehead of the Merry was sent flying into him, after the ship slammed into the whale.
"Well, that's bad luck" Naruto said with a sigh at this, as Kurama landed at his feet.
"My special seat!" Luffy yelled out, angry at this.
"Oh, relax. We can have Usopp fix it" Nami said, as she waved her hand dismissively.
"Yea, it shouldn't take long to -" Usopp was saying, before……
"Take this! Gum Gum Rifle!" Luffy yelled, as he ran over to the side of the ship and slugged the whale in the eye, seeing as it had looked down to take a look at them.
"YOU MORON!!!!!!" Naruto, Zoro and Sanji yelled at this, while Nami and Usopp went pale at this.
The whale bellowed at this, before he opened his mouth wide.
"Ah, he's gonna eat us!" Usopp yelled in a panic.
"Get us out of here! You teleport!" Nami yelled, as she grabbed Naruto and started to shake him rapidly.
"I can't teleport something this big!" Naruto yelled, as the ship went into the whale's mouth.
"I got it!" Luffy yelled, as he stretched his arms to try and grab the whale's teeth. But it was too late, as the whale closed his mouth, just as he sent himself flying out of the whale's mouth.
Thankfully, Luffy was able to climb his way onto the side of the whale's head and climbed up to the top of the whale's head.
"Hey! Gimme back my friends!" Luffy yelled, as he stamped his foot on the whale's head.
The whale ignored this, as he started to submerge himself into the sea.
"Hey! I said let them go! Eh?" Luffy was yelling, as he spotted what looked like a trapdoor nearby, which he quickly ran over to and opened, before he entered and closed it, just as the whale went underwater.
(With the others)
Meanwhile, with the others, they were all looking around once they had gotten their bearings, after being eaten by the giant whale.
"Uh, what just happened?" Zoro asked, as they all looked around.
"Yea, did we somehow end up back outside?" Usopp asked, as he too looked around.
Naruto looked around and paused, as he spotted what looked like a small island nearby, with a hut on it.
And as the ship floated towards it, a man was seen coming out of the hut, carrying a newspaper. He was an old man, with what looked like flower petals on his neck.
"Freeze right there!" Usopp yelled, as he got behind the front cannon in a panic.
"If you fire that, one of us will die" the old man said with a firm tone of voice, as he sat down in his lawn chair, and opened the newspaper.
"Oh? And who's that?" Zoro asked, as he glared at the man and held his katana at this threat.
"Me, of course, " the old man said simply, as he turned the page of his newspaper.
This caused Zoro and Nami to face plant at his response.
Naruto snorted at this, while Kurama snickered at this.
"Do you want to die, old man?!" Zoro yelled, as he stood up with his teeth going sharp.
"Relax, he's just an old man, moss head. Look old man, can you tell us where we are?" Sanji said to Zoro, before he looked at the older man.
"It is customary to introduce yourself, before you ask for help brat" the old man said.
"Oh, well, I suppose that's fair. We are -" Sanji was saying, before…..
"My name is Crocus and I'm 71 years old, while my blood type is XF" the old man said firmly, causing Sanji to face plant just like Zoro.
"Gahahahahahaha! I love this old guy!" Naruto said, as he burst out laughing at this.
"I'm gonna kill him!" Sanji yelled, as he stood up in a rage at Crocus, obviously messing with them.
"Oh, relax. I'm just relieving the tension, you brat. You're obviously inside the stomach of a whale" Crocus said, as he put away his newspaper and stood up to look at them.
"Then that explains the green sea water, which I'm guessing is stomach acid," Naruto said, as he looked over the edge of the ship.
"Wait, stomach acid?! The ship won't last in that!" Usopp yelled in a panic.
"Yup. If you stay here too long, then your ship is doomed" Crocus said as he nodded.
"Do you have a way for us to get out of here, old man. Preferably a route that's not obvious and disgusting" Nami said, as she tried not to imagine going out that way.
"Yep, I know a way out," Crocus said with a nod, as he approached a metal raft and floated away from the island
"Does it involve the big doors?" Naruto asked, as he pointed to the side, where there was a pair of massive steel doors, which Crocus was floating towards.
"How did we miss that?!?!" Usopp yelled at this with wide eyes.
Before Crocus could respond, what looked like a pair of small doors attached to the side of the big doors opened, with what looked like a man in a green outfit with a crown on his head and a woman with blue hair done up in a high ponytail wearing a green coat with a purple dress appeared.
"Ugh, those brats again" Crocus said, as he quickly ran over to the ladder and started to climb up it.
"Are you ready Miss Wednesday?" the man with a crown yelled, as he took aim at the wall with a personal cannon.
"Of course, Mr Nine!" Miss Wednesday said with a grin, as she took aim at the wall with her own cannon, before firing along with her partner.
As they did this, Crocus had made it to the top of the ladder across from them and jumped from the top into the path of the cannonballs, taking the hits, which caused a large explosion, before Crocus fell into the water below.
"The old guy is crazy!" Usopp yelled out in shock.
"He's our way out, so we better save him from drowning" Sanji said, as he jumped into the sea.
"EHEH!? That's stomach acid! He's most likely already been dissolved!" Usopp yelled out.
"It won't do it right away, if we are quick Usopp" Nami said, as she sighed at this.
"Stupid old man!" Miss Wednesday yelled before she laughed, as she took aim at the wall again, with her reloaded cannon.
"You're not gonna stop us from completing our mission!" Mr Nine yelled, as he too took aim with his cannon.
Before both of them were hit by the door behind them, which was forced open by Luffy, causing them both to fall over into the stomach acid below.
Naruto sighed at this, before he quickly teleported above the two attackers and grabbed them, before he teleported again and returned to the ship, as he dropped the two knocked out attackers on the deck of the ship.
"Why did you save those two?" Nami asked curiously.
"Eh, I don't think falling to death in stomach acid is a good way to go," Naruto said with a shrug.
"At least he saved the beautiful maiden from being dissolved. Not sure why he saved this one, though" Sanji said, as he looked at the woman with a lovestruck look, before looking at the man with a dismissive look, after he placed Crocus on the deck of the ship
"Hey, are you ok old man?" Zoro asked the old man.
"Yea, I'm fine. It takes more than that to kill me" Crocus said, as he waved his hand dismissively.
"Hey guys! Did you guys find a way out of this whale's stomach?" Luffy yelled from the doorway nearby.
"Hey captain. The old man knows a way out" Zoro said, as he waved at Luffy.
"Cool. I just hope it's not though -" Luffy was saying, before he was cut off.
"Don't say it, you idiot!" Nami yelled at Luffy, as the ship approached the steel doors.
(Sometime later)
Later after Crocus had opened the doors and knocked the whale out with a sedative, they had thrown the two attackers off the ship, before getting an explanation from the old man, about the whale, whose name was Laboon.
"Huh, so he's been here since he was little, waiting for his pirate friends to come back?" Naruto asked, as he looked at the giant whale, as he wailed at the Red Line.
"How long has he been waiting?" Luffy asked curiously.
"It's been about fifty years," Crocus said with a sigh, as he shook his head.
"Say what?!" everyone, but Naruto, yelled in surprise at this.
"Wow. If they aren't old men like you, they are probably all bones by now" Naruto said, as he shook his head at this.
(Deep in the Grand Line)
Meanwhile, on an old ship in a foggy part of the Grand Line, what looked like a living skeleton with an afro, was busy rolling on the deck of the ship, to kill his boredom.
"Achoo!" the skeleton with afro hair suddenly sneezed. "Oh! Someone must be talking about me! Yohohohohohoho!" the skeleton laughed, before he went back to his rolling.
(Back with the crew)
As Sanji brought everyone lunch, Nami was asking Crocus about the Grand Line, after Luffy had fought Laboon a bit and then marked him with his Jolly Roger, as a show of them being friends.
"Why isn't my compass working?!" Nami yelled in a panic, as she saw that the needle on her computer was going crazy.
"Do you not know anything, girly? You need a special compass to traverse the Grand Line" Crocus said, as he gave Nami a look.
"Oh yea. I recall the old man mentioning that" Naruto said, as he rubbed his chin, while Kurama jumped off his shoulder to avoid…..
SMACK!
Nami slapped Naruto on the back of the head.
"Gah! That's getting old, woman!" Naruto yelled, as he held his head in pain.
"Why didn't you mention that we needed a special compass?!" Nami yelled at Naruto.
"Well, none of you ever asked," Naruto said, as he rubbed his head.
"Gah! I'm surrounded by morons!" Nami yelled out, as she grabbed her hair in frustration.
"What's this compass look like?" Luffy asked, as he ate some of the fish Sanji had made.
"It's small and has an odd shape. You wear it on your wrist" Crocus said, as he made a shape with his hands.
"Like this?" Luffy asked, as he held out a glass ball on a strap, with a white and red compass.
Everyone looked at Luffy in shock at this.
"Where did you get that?" Nami asked, as she snatched the log pose from Luffy.
"I found it on the deck of the ship, after we left Laboon's stomach" Luffy said, as he continued to eat.
"It must be from those guys who attacked Laboon," Usopp said, as he crossed his arms.
"Well, we got lucky then. So let's eat the lunch I -" Sanji was saying, before….
"Ahhh, that was great!" Luffy yelled, as he patted his full stomach.
Everyone but Nami looked at the table in shock, seeing that the entire giant tuna Sanji had made was gone, even the bones.
"Y-you ate everything" Usopp stuttered out in shock.
"Yep, and it was delicious," Luffy said with a wide smile.
"You idiot! I made that for everyone!" Sanji yelled, as he kicked Luffy in the face, sending him flying past Nami.
But as he passed her, his hand smashed the Log Pose, destroying it.
Nami's face twitched at this, before she glared at Luffy and Sanji.
Kurama put his tail to his head and barked, before he fell over, playing dead.
"Yup" Naruto said with a nod, as they watched as Nami kicked both Luffy and Sanji into the sea below them.
"What are we gonna do now?!" Nami yelled out in a panic.
"Relax, you can have my Log Pose. Consider it my thanks for helping Laboon" Crocus said, as he handed Nami another Log Pose.
"Do you feel better now?" Naruto asked Nami, as they approached the Going Merry, along with Zoro and Usopp, while Sanji dragged Luffy out of the sea, along with Mr Nine and Miss Wednesday.
"Hey, why did you bring them, Dartboard Brow?" Zoro asked, as they all got on the Going Merry.
"Cause Miss Wednesday needed help, moss head" Sanji said, as he walked over, with Luffy and the other two behind him.
"Don't try anything against Laboon, or your Kurama's new special friend" Naruto said with a glare at the two, while Kurama smiled evilly at them.
"Noted," Miss Wednesday said with a nod.
"What can a little fox do?" Mr Nine grumbled at this.
"Kurama, it would appear that they need a demonstration," Naruto said, as he tossed Kurama a treat.
Kurama ate the treat and then smiled, before he looked up in the sky and blew a torrent of fire into the air.
Both Miss Wednesday and Mr Nine's eyes widened at this.
"Any questions?" Naruto asked with a smirk, as he crossed his arms.
Both of the two would-be whalers shook their heads rapidly at this.
"Um, did you happen to find a Log Pose laying around here?" Mr Nine asked the crew.
"We did, but the morons over there broke it," Nami said, as she pointed at Luffy and Sanji.
"Gah! Why would you do that?!" Mr Nine yelped in a panic.
"Now we can't get home!" Miss Wednesday yelled, as she held her head.
"But we have a spare. So if you want a ride home, it's gonna cost you" Nami said with a smirk.
"...how much?" Mr Nine asked with a hint of worry.
"Let's just say that you will be in debt for a while," Naruto said with a flat tone, before he ducked, avoiding a swipe from Nami's staff.
"Good luck to you kids. Be sure to keep an eye on them and be sure to find a doctor for your crew" Crocus said, as he waved at the ship as it sailed away.
"It's on our to-do list," Naruto said, as he gave Crocus a thumbs up.
"Yea, right after getting a musician," Luffy said with a smile.
"Doctor first. Gramps said you're an idiot, if you sail for too long without a doctor" Naruto said firmly.
"But pirates like to sing, and we need a musician for that," Luffy said as he crossed his arms
"I'm sure that we will find both eventually, knowing this crew," Zoro said, as he laid against the mast of the ship.
"Yeah, that's true," Naruto said with a chuckle, as he looked at the sea ahead, as they left towards their first journey on the Grand Line.
