One goes on her own, to rescue those she cares about most, the other to fix what is broken. But time is working against them and with enemies everywhere, their spark may just go out.

Some unfortunate events that happen to noble people are recorded, and they are considered tragedies. If you are looking for a story with happy and appropriate relationships than look elsewhere. Not very many happy things happened in the lives of these orphans, this is a more adult oriented version of a series of unfortunate events. Violet and Klaus seek solace in each other through the events of the series and then afterwords.
