Reviews:

Boris Yeltsin: Thanks, glad you liked it and yeah, we're seeing more of the young Avengers here, with more to come ;)
Wolfgirl2013: Well, he already did remember, on his way to fight Scorpion, but of course can't exactly say that ;)

Now onto the story.

Disclaimer: I don't own Avengers, Stranger Things or their characters.

Family Moments

Jake was in for a surprise when he finally arrived home, or his parents weren't the only ones waiting for him. His eyes widened in delight as he saw the familiar woman who had been sitting talking to his dads.

"Aunt Holly?" He gasped.

Holly Sanders nee Wheeler turned and smiled at him. "Ah, there's my favourite nephew."

Jake laughed as they hugged. "Don't let Thomas hear you say that. He'll be jealous."

Holly just laughed, then came another laugh and Jake turned with a smile to the ten year old girl who looked like her mother in miniature, Kelsey Sanders, Holly's daughter with her husband David Sanders who was most likely still at work. She immediately hurried over to Jake and the cousins hugged.

"You don't mind spending time with Kelsey for a while Jake?" Mike asked. "Will and I need to talk to Holly."

Jake just nodded. "Yeah, sure, no problem dad."

He led the way to his room with Kelsey following, the two of them sharing a furtive glance. Once alone in the room Jake turned to smirk at his cousin.

"So...What's been happening, Speed Demon?" He asked jokingly.

Kelsey laughed and rolled her eyes, that was her super-hero name, she was indeed part of the Avengers group like them, although her young age meant she was more or less still in training and therefore was somewhat protected by the others and, unless there was no way to avoid it, she rarely if ever got involved in the larger scale battles, especially against particularly dangerous supervillains. With those details in mind, the duo began to talk quietly about Jake's battle with Scorpion.

Meanwhile, arriving home himself, Eddie smiled as he entered his family's home. He knew that one of his dads, Dustin, would be home, Lucas would still be at work. Sure enough he spotted his dad, Dustin Henderson-Sinclair was in the kitchen, rummaging through the cabinets, looking for something for today's dinner no doubt.

"Hey dad." He greeted him.

Dustin looked up and smiled widely. "Hi Eddie, how was school?"

Eddie shrugged. "It was alright, nothing major happened."

Dustin nodded. "Uh-huh...well, just remember, if you ever have any problems, you can tell me or Lucas, got it?"

"Yeah, I know dad." Eddie replied.

He smiled, knowing why his dad was acting this way, it was how things had always been, all due to his dads pasts, where they were victims of bullying, they wanted to make sure Eddie never suffered alone. He was about to walk to his bedroom to check and make sure his suit was in working condition, after all, trouble could strike as any time. He paused however as his eyes landed on something that drew a wistful smile to his face, there on the wall, hanging in its pride of place as usual, was that famous guitar belonging to his namesake, the boy who had given his life to help his parents and their friends, the boy he had been named after.

'I hope one day to be worthy of that name.'

With that thought running around his head he entered his room.

For two of the older members of the team, they were in fact accompanying one of the middle-school members home as they all lived in the same neighbourhood. As such Stephanie and Matthew walked, hands linked as they accompanied Amanda home.

"So, how was school today, Amanda?" Matthew asked casually.

Amanda shrugged. "Huh, alright I guess, there was nothing much going on, apart from the obvious."

She quirked an eyebrow at them to indicate what she meant and the two older teens nodded, Jake being late due to fighting Scorpion.

"So...that's really the only thing that happened?" Stephanie queried. "No...interesting chats with certain boys?"

Amanda went wide-eyed and gasped. "What, who told you that?!"

Both older teens laughed and shook their heads as Stephanie then confirmed.

"Terry...so, it's true, you were chatting with that boy of yours?"

"He's not mine...not yet." Amanda replied, grumbling. "Besides it's not just me, I saw Jake practically stumbling through a 'conversation' with that Jessica girl he's into."

Matthew laughed. "Ah, takes me back, I was a mess trying to ask you out, Steph."

"Yeah, I remember, well...good for you guys." Stephanie replied, nodding to Amanda.

Amanda bit her lip but nodded and sighed, finally calming down.

"So, um...what do you think Scorpion was up to?" She asked.

The two older teens went serious.

"No idea." Stephanie admitted. "But if what Jake told us is true, he's seeking something, which is very worrying."

Matthew nodded in agreement but, with nothing else in mind to say, they all went their separate ways and headed to their respective homes.

At their own home, Thomas and Barbara were chatting happily and had been planning what they might do on their upcoming dates with their respective partners. They trailed off as they spotted their parents in the kitchen, already making dinner.

"Ah, there you two are." Jonathan joked as he saw them. "I hope you'll be joining us for dinner instead of rushing off to do whatever you've been doing."

Nancy laughed. "So, what will it be, oh and how are your sweethearts, hmm?"

Both teens blushed and groaned.

"Mom, dad…" Barbara moaned. "I just...we, we do have dates planned, but it's for a couple of weeks from now."

Thomas nodded. "Yeah, that's all...anyway, um...how was work."

Jonathan and Nancy Byers shared a look but both smiled and began to discuss their work, however they were not fooled for a second at their children's deflection, regardless things were clearly happy for them and their family. Some time later however something unexpected happened, something which all members of the Avengers were caught off guard by, thankfully it was after dinner and they were all out of sight and hearing range of their families, they had received a message from Terry, one which made them all instantly alert.

"Everyone, Code Orange to Central Park, North end, found something strange and worrying."

That was enough for them to quickly get to work and suit up, ready to go and investigate and see what this dramatic incident was.
