Leaving Cactus Island was a somber affair, not a couple of minutes earlier Miss Wednesday's guard: Igaram told the Straw Hat's about their past.
The fact that Miss Wednesday was actually Miss Vivi Nefertari the princess of a kingdom called Arabasta, she and Mr. Igaram joined the ranks of the Baroque work company to find out who was trying to ruin her kingdom.
After their stay in the ranks of Baroque, they found out who was the issue of the strife in her kingdom; was a man called Mr. 0 also known as Crocodile one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.
Not long after the crew of the Straw Hats met Miss All Sunday the partner to Mr. 0 who took Igaram's life by blowing up the ship as he was trying to lead the Baroque Works on a wild goose hunt. Ben wanted to end her life for doing so but as the Going Merry was sailing away towards the next island Ben felt the faint pulse of Igaram.
The next island was going to be something that most pirates on the grand line would avoid; Little Garden, but the Straw Hat crew were not going to avoid the island.
-Meanwhile-
A smoke-covered fist collides with a black-gloved fist; around the figures locked in battle were the Marines who were watching with shocked faces.
The smoke-covered fist returns back towards its owner; standing with blood covering one of his eyes and twin cigarettes hanging out from his mouth was one of the strongest Marines. His name: Smoker.
Smoker sends a glare towards the figure who stood brushing dust from his dark red coat. The figure's fist still stretched out; the figure's fingers un-clench and then the figure makes the come at me motion with his hand.
Smoker shakes his fist slightly as he looks towards the figure; the figure standing before Smoker was a man; around the age of 18 years old.
He wore a dark red coat with a pair of goggles that sat around his neck that had one cracked lens. Around his chest was the remnants of a sword that was tightly strapped on a bandolier, attached to his hip was a gun that looked to be made by Dr. Vegapunk; how the man got a gun from Vegapunk Smoker never knew, but that didn't matter to Smoker he had to stop him because of the tattoo that the man had on the front of his bare chest; It was the Straw Hat logo.
"Así pues, usted me va a decir qué atacaste humo me tipo?" The figure asked only to shake his head and mutter under his breath 'Estúpido' and then he smiles and asks the question again.
"So, you going to tell me why you're attacking me, Smoke Guy?" the figure adds asking Smoker who realized the man spoke two langauges and now he realizes why he couldn't understand the man at first.
"I am Captain Smoker AKA the White Hunter, I am here to bring in you; you Straw Hat!" Smoker says pointing towards the man who laughs loudly.
"I may have the logo of the Straw Hat's but I am not one." the man says putting his gloved hand on his hip; the other hand coming up to hook around the strap of his goggles that hang around his neck.
"No matter, as long as you wear that logo; be it as a tattoo or the flag you fly. You are going to come with me." Smoker says grabbing his Jutte from his back; thinking the man before him has Devil Fruit powers.
"I may have this tattoo, but it's because I am free." the man says morphing one of his hands into a giant machine-like fist; printed on the machine-like fist was the letters R.E.X.
"WHITE WHIP!" Smoker shouts out swinging his smoke-covered arm and fist that held the Jutte at the man who grabbed the Jutte in his machine-like fist. Smoker's eyes widen as he can't move his Jutte from the man's grip.
"Surprised?" the man asks morphing his other hand into a machine-like sword that he swings at Smoker who manages to dodge by turning his entire body into smoke. The Jutte still inside the man's machine-like fist.
"Who are you?" Smoker asks returning back from his smoke form, Smoker appears behind the man who turns around to throw the Jutte back at Smoker who catches it with ease.
"You can call me Rex, and before you think about giving me a stupid nickname. I already have one, call me the E.V.O King!" Rex says leaping into the air; a pair of mechanical wings appear from his back with turbines that thrust him upwards into the air and with that he vanished into the clouds.
Smoker looks around at the Marines that are still shocked; he then pulls the snail out from inside his coat.

"It's Smoker. You better get a bounty printed out with the epithet E.V.O King. I'll get you a photo soon." Smoker says sending a glare towards the snail.
{Smoker.. what.. Who's the E.V.O King...}
Smoker ends the call with a click putting the snail back into his coat. He looks upwards towards the clouds thinking about what Rex said.
