Huntik Heroes

Chapter 19

It's time for Izuku's mission to Australia. And Melissa will be getting more of a feel for what Seekers do on missions as well as helping someone else. Which I personally think will lead to interesting effects later. So, on with the show.

(No POV)

"The land of mystery. I thought that was New Mexico. Maybe in the US," the pair of Seekers say back and forth. While playing a game of holo chess. Each practicing and working to improve their skills and problem solving.

Something Izuku was excelling at. "Checkmate. That makes three games you've lost," Izuku says with a smirk. While Melissa pouted before leaning back in her seat. She got up and got herself and Izuku a drink.

"Hey, I need to use the bathroom and check on some other stuff. You don't mind not playing for a round, right?" Melissa said. The teen just shrugged and said it was fine. She slipped back to the bathroom to use it.

And check on someone else there. Jiro was sitting with her knees up on the toilet seat. She looked up at Melissa with a bit of worry before asking a question burning in her mind. "Are you sure this is okay?"

Melissa just gives Jiro a gentle smile before saying it would be alright. "Hopefully this can help you. Not just to see that we Seekers are all bad, but that magic can't always hurt you." The older girl thought back on when she approached Jiro about coming and helping through some worries.

(Flashback)

Before they were to head to the airport, Melissa checked in on Jiro. "Hey Kyoka. You okay? You still seem nervous. Even after I removed those…. Things they attached to you." Melissa said with some trepidation.

Jiro gulps and looks away before saying, "it's…. its' just….. Even if they are physically gone, I still can feel them. Piercing into me, shocking me, and everything. Not to mention the feeling of the magic in my head. And the Titans…. I'll be honest, you guys all kind of scare me now."

"We're not all – I know! I know. It's just I can't fully forget it. Let alone what Momo went through. She was the head's favorite toy after all." Jiro interrupted Melissa. She then expressed her own panic about what could be coming. Let alone fear of getting caught in the crossfire of some like Kaminari. As sound of electricity still scared her a bit.

She then noted that she was considering dropping or transferring out of the hero course as the danger would keep coming. "And it may be even worse than before." Melissa hummed before thinking about the mission she was about to go on.

She had a mischievous smile before she asked, "what if you could come along for a mission that would be less dangerous….. hopefully." Jiro just lets out a humorless laugh and wonders if that would really be possible. "It might just be. And I have a way to get you on without most knowing."

"Camoforge felt less unsettling around me when it was cast on me. But what are we facing here?" Jiro asked with a gulp. Melissa hummed before saying they'd be getting more details when they arrived in Australia. She then noted that they were far enough away from Japan that they couldn't turn back. "So you can come out now. I doubt Izuku would kick you off or send you back anyway."

"Definitely not. Besides I suspected something from before we left." Izuku said from the other side of the bathroom door. Melissa opens the door and Izuku is smirking at her and Jiro. The older girl grumbles before saying, "I'm starting to get frustrated by you throwing me off all the time."

Izuku laughs before asking if Jiro wanted to sit in the main cabin. "There's food and much more comfortable seats. And you look like you could use more friends." Izuku's face had a compassionate gaze as he extended a hand to her.

Jiro gulped and thanked Izuku before getting to a seat to eat some (better than most) food on the plane. "Think they'll have a problem? If they do, we could have her stay at the branch office to learn more about magic and how we do things," the Seekers say quietly between themselves.

Once they landed in Sydney, Melissa was going to cast Camoforge on Jiro again. But Izuku stopped her and said, "better to be upfront about this now. She's already here, so we should be frank about her coming on the mission."

The girls shared a look and Jiro gave a shaky nod to follows them out. "G'day. You're Shield and Midoriya right? Though the tag along wasn't in the briefing," the agent meeting them said while looking at Jiro with some suspicion. She gulped before the two came to her defense. "She's a little extra power/insurance. Her quirk lets her hear for miles around. And that will be useful in we're looking for Suits." Izuku said with a firm look.

The Australian man doesn't look like he fully buys it, but they had their orders. "Alright. Let's get on with it." The teens are escorted to a safehouse where they could receive some data from the local agents and allied mystics. Namely an elder mystic from Gaagudju.

"Kukadu has been true heritage site for centuries. A number of us from the region were already Seekers when others started to arrive in our lands. And it has always had an abundance of magic. But recently, there have been fluctuations in the energy and magic of the region. And Organization suits have been spotted in the area."

"They do kind of stick out." Izuku quips while noting the images of a few people in suits from the images taken. Melissa rolls her eyes and asks if there was anything else they could tell them before starting. "We'll have backup and other agents around, but you'll be relying on the local agents or rather mystics more so."

Jiro gulps at the idea of dealing with dangerous Seekers. Especially ones who also have a penchant for mind control. But her thoughts are distracted when she notices something. It was faint, but she could pick up a light sound on the recording. A rumbling or dull roar like noise.

The group spends some time discussing and covering some of the details of the area of Australia they were heading to. With each noting some of the cave artworks and other images that were from the area. And how they could be likely Titans that could be found in some of the landscapes.

After resting for a night, the group is ready to head for the park. Taking a quick flight with the Foundation's newest Scramjets. "Hey just curious, by why didn't we fly straight to Kukadu from Japan when we came down here?" Jiro questioned as they were approaching to the region.

And it was answered by a few spells and other shots being fired at the plane. "That's a big part of it! How many?" Izuku asked the pilot as he ran up to the cockpit. He grunted before checking the radar and confirmed that there were three helicopters attacking them.

"Izuku! I started the power amplifier! How do we do this?" Melissa questioned while punching in some commands. The elder agent said to give him a moment. "I'll get you in line with a target! Try to take them out!" Izuku nodded and prepared something he learned from the Casterwills. "Double Spell! Kindlestrike!"

As he shouts this, two amplified beams of blue energy shoot from the front of the plane. And leave burning cuts in the side and front of the helicopters. Unfortunately, the third chopper is right behind them and locked on. Jiro panics for a moment until she has a moment of inspiration.

"Can I plug my jacks into the amplifier?!" The Seekers share looks as if to say they never thought of that. Izuku then questioned if she was certain about this. "Absolutely not! But I think I can dissipate or disable the missiles with a strong enough sound blast!"

Melissa pats her on the shoulder and tells her to 'do it'. Jiro gulps and plugs into the power amplifier. She feels some pain from the reverb and all the sounds she could now pick up. But she focuses in enough to unleash her "Heartbeat Distortion!" she calls out and unleashes a sound blast behind the jet.

The attack does just like she hoped and disables the missiles. But it has a different effect on the chopper. Namely breaking it apart and causing some of the other ordnance to explode. Upon realizing this, Jiro quickly retracts her jacks and freaks out about the fact she might have just killed the pilots on the helicopter.

"Okay. Looks like those guys managed to eject in time." Izuku reports while checking over the scopes and wondering what they could do to get to the mission area. Especially when they were now getting shot at from the ground. Melissa steps up and says, "we could jump out and use land nearby." Izuku gives her a funny look, but he considers it and adds to it.

"I'll use Thought Specter to hide us and then we'll jump as the jet leaves the area." Izuku says with a nod to the pilot. He calls them crazy but advises on where the parachutes were. Once they got their gear, Izuku uses Thought Specter on the area around him. Making himself and the girls invisible.

The jet takes a hit and Izuku takes this as the moment for them to leap out the side. "Hold your fire! Looks like the target is leaving. Let's get back on patrol. Hopefully the boss will finally get somewhere with that thing," one of the suits says before walking away.

And Jiro hears all of it. "Maybe that's it?" she thinks to herself as they float down with their parachutes. Once they land and ditch their parachutes, Izuku lets up the illusion. "Okay I think we're good. Now we just need to find the treasure area. Red Searcher!"

Thus, Izuku brings out his little Titan to find some trace of the magical energy they were looking for. Melissa meanwhile summoned Silver Hunter for tracking and some extra muscle. Jiro wants to tell them what she overheard but seeing the two Titans makes her nervous. So, she stays quiet for the time being.

The teens spend the rest of the day searching the area for any sign of a Titan hold or some hidden cave. "Though if the people who have been here for centuries haven't found anything or done anything with it, why would the Organization?" Izuku ponders aloud.

Melissa considers that too. Saying, "yeah it seems weird that they found this or are searching for Titan that the tribe of this region hasn't found." Jiro again wants to speak up as she has her own suspicion. But when Silver Hunter turns back to look at her with the other two, her fear takes over and she stays quiet. Instead, she tried using her quirk to pick up on a few different sounds around them. Including a very dull roar like sound from the ground.

Once the sun started to set, Izuku said they should make camp. "We can pick up the search in the morning. Red Searcher. Return." Melissa agrees and returns Silver Hunter before looking to find a good spot to rest. "Wait! Listen guys….. I think….. I know where or what we might be dealing with." Jiro says after the Titans were gone.

The Seekers share a look before taking a seat on some stones and starting a small fire with Bolt Flare. "Okay. Did you notice something?" Melissa asks while handing an energy bar to Jiro. She has a bite before saying, "yeah. I noticed a few things here and in the briefing. First, I think there already is a Titan on the loose or something like that."

She noted the roar she heard in the briefing images and while they were walking through the park. Not to mention what she overheard while they were falling from the plane. "Why didn't you mention this till now?" Melissa asks with some surprise. Jiro winced and looked to the ground.

"It's…. It's your Titans. They used them a few times on us while we were captured. Such as the Diedre one tying me or the others up, or that Dark Pharaoh creature amping up or dulling our senses to mess with us more. I know those can't do the same but….. I can't forget that feeling." Jiro says while tightening the grip on her arms.

Melissa moved over quickly and wrapped the girl in a hug while Izuku put a comforting hand on her shoulder. Before saying, "I'm sorry. And I don't blame you for being nervous about what could happen. But that isn't what our Titans, any Titans, are supposed to be used for. They are meant to save people. To keep them safe. And that is what we'll do with ours. Keep you safe if we need to."

The look in Izuku's eyes gives Jiro some confidence and it eases her shivering. As well as the comforting presence of Melissa beside her. After they give her a minute, the two question if she could find those suits again. "Maybe. Or I could follow the sound of the roar or whatever it is that I've been hearing."

"Do it. Take these. They'll let us see in the dark." Melissa says before handing her partners some special sunglasses that had night vision and other optical enhancements. And they started towards where the sounds were coming from. Reaching a cave that had guards out front by morning.

The two Seekers wonder if they could take out the guards before they could call for others. "I might have a solution." Jiro says before getting on the ground and crawling towards the suits. She then extends her jacks all the way towards the pair, and stabs into their legs before giving them a Heartbeat Fuzz.

This disorients them long enough for Melissa and Izuku to leap in and knock the two out. "Great job Jiro. But I think it'd be best if we take if from here." Izuku says while bringing out his battle Titans. Melissa agrees and suggests that she use the holotome to contact the Huntik Foundation. She agrees and accepts the device from Izuku to do just that.

Izuku and Melissa make their way down the cavern while keeping an ear and eye out for any other suits. "You hear it too, right? That rumbling roar?" Izuku asks after they avoid a pair of suits. Melissa nods before saying, "any idea on what it could be? Like what kind of Titan we could be dealing with?"

The green haired teen shrugs while noting it could be anything from Dambala or a Ponderous Titan. "Given it's likely size or just the sounds we've been hearing," he notes as they keep going down.

Jiro though was getting antsy as she could hear more of the roars. And other sounds. Some of which included screaming and panicked noises. She had already called in to the local Huntik Foundation agents and was just waiting. As well as periodically knocking out the suits at the front.

So she was stuck tapping her feet as the time ticked by. But a new noise made her worried. When she heard Melissa scream in the caverns below. She looked at the mouth of the cave with some trepidation. Remembering some of what happened to her in Brazil.

"If I don't step in when a friend is in trouble….. do I deserve to be a hero? Or to even be their friend?" Jiro thinks aloud before biting her lip and starting down into the cave system. With Izuku and Melissa, the reason the girl screamed was that they got blasted from behind by a few suits after they thought they were clear.

Izuku fired off a Ray Pulse to knock one suit down, while Melissa used Ever Fight to recover before unleashing an Auger Frost attack. Though she hit nowhere near the suit. "Ha! Maybe you should spend some time practi-guk!" the suit started to taunt. Until they were knocked upside the head with the stalactite Melissa did hit.

"We might have lost an element of surprise. Maybe. But we can't turn back now." The two share a look before hurrying down the caverns a bit further. Only to come upon a large number of suits with a restrained Titan behind them. "Oh crap." Izuku says with a gulp.

That is when a woman in a white suit turns to face the pair. "Ah I see we have a couple of up-and-coming Seekers here. The famous in the non-Seeker world Melissa Shield, and the trained by the Lambert clan "hero"; Izuku Midoriya. A pleasure."

The woman in this case was a red headed lady of statuesque appearance and build. With her hair coming off her head in waves, making it look like a bonfire. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Cecily Wilder. And I will remove you from interfering in our business. Weaken Shade!"

Melissa quickly casts Honor Guard and Izuku fires back with some spells before unleashing his Titans; Caliban, Ronin, and Hoplite. And Melissa follows suit with Januseea the Gatekeeper, Kilthane and Silver Hunter.

Unfortunately, they were quite outnumbered given the shear number of Gigadrones, Minddrones and other Titans. The two cut their way through quite a few, but they are soon overwhelmed. Especially when Hoplite, Ronin, and Silver Hunter are sent back to their amulets.

"Well that's not good! Tactical retreat!" Izuku says before telling Caliban to fall back with him. Melissa agrees and asks Kilthane to cover their exit. The Titan doing just that and using his shield to cover his Seeker.

They keep running until they are suddenly grabbed from the side by Jiro and pulled into a side tunnel. Which was useful as the suits quickly ran by without giving the side tunnel much thought. "Thanks for the save Jiro. But I'm a little surprised you're down here." Izuku says while catching his breath.

The earphone jack girl gulps before saying, "yeah I am too. But…. I heard Melissa scream and something in me started to pull me down here. I just couldn't stop." Melissa smiles and thanks her friend again. Izuku hums while wondering what they could do for that Titan.

"It's being held against it's will and I think the Organization is looking to make it a weapon. More than Titan's usually are. I didn't get too good of a look a it though." Jiro smiles before bringing up the holotome again and pointing out a few other side tunnels she'd mapped. "If we go this way, we should avoid most of the thugs. And maybe….. maybe stop that….. huh."

Jiro trailed off as she continued to listen to the roars and cries from the Titan. She closed her eyes and could almost see it. And an important fact about it. "It's sad. It's sad, scared, and panicking…. Just like me," the girl says while looking down at her hands and then her jacks.

Izuku hums before suggesting a new tactic. "We didn't know everything about the forces we were dealing with. But neither do they. They only know about the two of us. And we can use that," he says with a look to Jiro.

She gulps before asking what he had in mind. Back in the large chamber that held the Titan, Wilder was grumbling to one of her subordinates that remained. "This beast still refuses to bend to us! We have been at this for days now! What will it take?!"

"Maybe you should try being a bit nicer to it!?" Izuku exclaims before attacking with Kindle Strike. He then resummons Caliban and Melissa Kilthane, given they weren't sent back to their amulets. Wilder snarls before summoning Kunoichi and attacking with Weaken Shade again.

But while they were focused on that, Jiro snuck into the room from a different tunnel. It was then that she got a very good look at the large Titan they were trying to command. It was an enormous snake-like beast. With rainbow scales all along it.

While Izuku and Melissa kept the suits busy, Jiro made contact with the creature that was being shocked and held in place by the Organization. While the roars were near deafening, Jiro was able to endure thanks to some earplugs Melissa gave her.

"Easy. Easy. I'm not going to- Okay! I get it! You're mad. I don't blame you. But I'm not here to hurt you. I just want to free you." Jiro says while dodging a snap from the serpent's jaws. She keeps her hands up and her jacks back as she steps toward the Titan, looking for a way to disrupt the magic binding it.

While she is doing this, she notices something odd. The creature seems to let out almost lyrical sounds between some of it's roars. She hums before catching the harmonics it was letting out and trying to match them. Surprising the beast and making it look at her funny. She matches the tune a few more times while making her way over to one of the binding points.

Back with Izuku and Melissa, Cecily was confused by their actions. "What are you doing? You're putting up a fight, but not much of one. It won't help you to get to….. No!" she says before turning and seeing Jiro near one of the binding points. Just as she removes it, the earphone jack girl is blasted in the side with a Ray Pulse.

Just as she was about to be attacked again, the Rainbow Serpent shakes free of the other bindings and blocks the Weaken Shade attack. It roars once more before unleashing a powerful beam of light from it's mouth. While also wrapping itself around Jiro to protect her better.

Before Cecily can try a stronger Titan, Izuku leaps in and Dragon Fist punches the woman in the face. "Damn you! I'll… Oh no!" she said before realizing that the Huntik agents now had the greater advantage. Especially when Izuku summoned his Jeweled Colossus. Which used the Rainbow Serpent's beam to reflect off of itself and blast everything around it.

Cecily is covered by one of her men, and they retreat from the cavern. Jiro shakes out of her pain and looks up to see the large Titan protecting her. She reaches up to it's face and says, "thank you. Sorry I couldn't do more."

"That's not true at all Jiro. You saved and helped us more than once on this mission. And you might have made quite the friend here." Izuku says while admiring the massive serpentine Titan. It looks at him funny before letting out one last roar and returning to the Titan World. Leaving a black and grey looping serpent amulet with a blue gem in the center of the loops.

Jiro catches it and asked what that was all about. "He's probably tired. Since they forcefully summoned it rather than through a bond, it could have been exhausted while trying to break free." Melissa explained. And just as she was finishing the explanation, a few other Huntik Foundation agents arrived. As well as other mystics of the Gaagudju to see what else they could find of the caverns.

"Bloody brilliant. You folks finished up quite nice. How about you leave that Titan with us then love? Care to help us cataloging this stuff?" are a few of the things the agents say as they mill about the cavern complex looking for more secrets and information. Both from the suits and from those who came before.

With the mission wrapping up, Jiro was feeling more assured and at least a bit more comfortable around magic and Seekers. "I'm still a bit scared….. but with you two… I think I can grow past it," she says with a blush before hugging the girl. She also hugs Izuku for trusting her during the mission. "You're a good guy."

Izuku smiles and says she did a great job. We should report this to the Huntik council. Maybe you can come along for another mission someday. Maybe one with a little less risk," he says with a gesture out of the park.

Jiro smiling and glad to hear that she could go on adventures that didn't put her quite as much in danger. Though she had to wonder about why the Rainbow Snake looked at her funny when she freed it. Before shifting thoughts to wondering if some of the others who were kidnapped should go on a mission. 'Especially Yaoyorozu. She may be getting help from a therapist, but this could do her some good too.'

In the Mustafa, Momo was currently face down on the carpet. With Sadie sitting atop her hips. The girl bound multiple ways and having already climaxed multiple times. A delirious happy smile across her face (with her tongue hanging out) adorned her face.

"So then my dear. Do you have anything of interest to report? Do and I will make this all the sweeter for you~." Sadie says before adjusting and then leaning down to whisper in Momo's ear. Before gently nibbling on it, making the girl squirm in pleasure.

She moans a bit before saying, "yes. Yes mistress! Your pet does have information. So please reward me~~~!" Right as she finished saying this, Sadie reached back and inserted her fingers into Momo before using a Thunder Cut to shock her. Momo shivers as she climaxes and lets out even more of a moan.

Sadie steps away for a moment to clean her hands before grabbing Momo's head and pulling it back. Making the girl moan once more. "You have become quite the horny little girl. Perhaps I'll punish you later. Though that may be more of a reward for you now. But to business. You had information?"

"Yes master. The Seekers were away today. I don't know the specifics, but Midoriya and Shield-san went to Australia. And Lambert-kun went to Russia with Yanagi. She's apparently a Seeker now." Sadie hummed at this before adjusting Momo's bonds. Making the girl stay on all fours.

She then sat atop the girl before humming. With Momo shivering once Sadie's weight was atop her. "I don't need a shiatsu so stay still," she says with a smack to Momo's exposed backside. While ignoring the moan from the girl, Sadie thinks aloud about the situation.

"I see. We weren't certain about the storm that built up in Russia, given it was a hot bed for some quirk or other science researcher. And frankly we don't like going to the Land Down Under, so nothing to worry about there."

She then muses that Momo probably should have gone back to school sooner. But when the girl apologizes submissively, Sadie uses a gentle hand to tell her it was fine. "You needed to make them assume you were more damaged thanks to what I did. But to be frank, I was far gentler than what anyone with a quirk did to me."

The Spiral had a furious expression at this that Momo could barely see. She gulped before saying, "I… heard about what you suffered mistress. What you…. Were just adopted for. I…. I can't…. apolo aiii~~~"

Before Momo could finish expressing pity or anything, Sadie inserted a few more fingers and electrified them to silence her. She still had an angry look but it was tempered a bit. And slightly conflicted. But she shook out of this before letting up on Momo.

"Now then, that was some decent information. Especially about little Reiko truly awakening as a Seeker. I suspected the potential was there. But she was tainted by her quirk. If nothing else, she did help to create the serum for dealing with you all. But back on task."

Sadie knelt down in front of Momo before tilting her head up to look at the woman. She smiled before leaning down to kiss the girl. Making her moan a bit at the affection and aggressive motions of her tongue.

Once they separated, Sadie smiled down at the girl before pulling out a few things. "Your reward has just begun. Besides. We have to celebrate you leaving the hospital and returning to school~~." Momo's look was one of excited anticipation as Diedre was summoned and a gag was inserted in her mouth. And as the blindfold went on, her excitement only grew.

After the 'session' was finished, Sadie used some ointments and magic to help cover up anything glaring or telling on the girl. She kissed her once more before ordering Momo to only come back when she had something more to report. "There will be plenty of rewards for later~."

When Momo left, Sadie dealt with her own moments of terror. Remembering what she had endured before the Blood Spirals destroyed the group. Once through it, she sighed and thought, 'if we do depower everyone, I want to keep her. Not just for the fun or the money. But I don't want to leave her to anyone else.'

Not sorry if that cross some lines again, but I wanted to go more into Momo being a traitor. And how she's slightly more compliant compared to Aoyama. Given…. Well you know.
