The morning of the wedding arrived and Asta awoke to red rose petals all over her bed and covered with the green shimmer of Loki's magic. Her eyes widened and she noticed a note on the other pillow. Instantly she recognized Loki's neat handwriting.

My love,

Do not fret; I haven't spoiled the strange Midgardian tradition of not seeing you this morning. I teleported the petals from my room. But I hope they make you feel as special as you are to me. I can't wait to see you, my darling.

Yours always, Loki

Asta giggled at the note and scooped some petals up. She tossed them into the air and laughed.

"Was that giggling I heard?" Wanda's voice called from the door.

"Yep! I am guilty of giggling and I am guilty of being happier than any previous moment in my life!" Asta replied. "Come in!"

Natasha and Wanda came in and their eyes grew wide.

"Was Loki in here?" Natasha said with a gasp.

"No, he just teleported the petals in. Isn't he the best?"

"Awwww!" Wanda and Natasha said together.

Natasha pulled on Asta's arms. "Ok, well, now that we know which prince is obviously the most charming, it's time to get you ready!"

For the next 2 hours, they fixed hair, did makeup and finally got into their dresses.

Asta smiled as Wanda zipped up her gown. She couldn't wait to turn around and see it all together.

"Ok, princess," Natasha said. "Take a good look!"

Asta turned, saw her reflection in the mirror, and gasped. Her full skirted gown was a snowy white with green and gold embroidering and lace all over. She had a feeling her Asgardian gown would be more green, but this was perfect for Midgard.

Wanda put her hands to her mouth. "You look beautiful!"

Natasha laughed a bit. "Whose idea was it to Loki up the dress? It was gorgeous before, but I'm loving the green and gold!"

"Mine actually," Asta admitted. "It's probably more traditional on Asgard to wear your husband's colors, so he likely won't be suspecting it here. I can't wait to see his face!"

"He's gonna lose his mind!" Natasha said. "Now, do you have your something old, new, borrowed, and blue?"

"Well, my new is my dress. My blue is my garter. My old is my grandmother's handkerchief. And my borrowed… Oh no! I forgot my borrowed!"

Thor knocked at the doorframe then. "I think I may have the solution for that."

"Thor?" Wanda screeched. "Your timing is impeccable but what could you possibly have?"

Thor held out a box, obviously holding jewelry. "I may have taken a quick trip to Asgard and visited Mother. And she may have wanted for you wear this today. They are from her own personal collection."

With shaking hands, Asta reached out and took the box. Inside was a beautiful pearl and emerald necklace and matching earrings.

"Oh, Frigga! She's always thinking!" Asta hugged Thor tightly. "Thor, thank you so much! Will you put it on me?"

"Of course I will… sister," Thor replied with a slight crack in his voice.

"Thor, don't you dare make me cry! Nat will kill you if my makeup runs."

"She's right," Natasha said, casually studying her nails.

"Then I shall refrain from causing tears," Thor said as he unclasped the necklace. "I do not need Natasha and my brother wanting my death today if I cause you grief."

He placed the necklace on her and gently clasped it. "I will leave you three to finish up. You do look beautiful, Asta."

She kissed his cheek. "Thank you… brother."

Thor's eyes widened. "Yes, I shall take my leave now, grateful that I do not have eye makeup." And with that, he hurried out.

The 3 ladies laughed but were interrupted by FRIDAY. "Almost-Mrs.-Reindeer-Games? Boss has asked me to remind you that the ceremony begins in 10 minutes. And to let you know that your groom might just wear a hole and fall through the ceiling with all the pacing he's doing."

"Oh Loki," Asta sighed as she put on the earrings. "Thank you, FRIDAY. We'll be on our way." She took one last look in the mirror and began to walk out.

"Wait!" a voice called from the hall. "Is everyone dressed?"

Asta sighed. "Peter, of course we're all dressed. What's wrong?"

Peter entered the room. "Whoa! You look beautiful! You all do!" he stammered. "Oh! Um, I have a delivery." He handed Asta a green box, tied with a gold ribbon.

"Well, no need to ask who that's from!" Wanda laughed.

Peter beamed. "He apologizes if you already have one, but he'd love if you wore this."

Asta opened the box and found an ornate golden tiara. There were pearls and emeralds as well. She wondered if Frigga knew that Loki was going to give his to her and then sent the other jewelry to match. Asta wouldn't have put it past the queen to have had all these pieces commissioned years before just for her son's future bride.

"Let us help you change it!" Natasha said, before she could reach the tiny headpiece she was wearing and possibly snag her perfect updo.

Peter turned to leave, but spun back around. "Oh! And he wanted me to tell you that a princess should have the appropriate crown. And that if I forgot that part, he'd make me regret it. So, if Mr. Loki asks, I definitely said it all."

"Thank you, Peter," Asta laughed. "You are completely off the hook. You can tell him I love it."

Peter smiled and ran out then.

"Glad to see Loki's nerves aren't getting to him," Wanda added with an eye roll.

"Yes, he gets a little edgy when he's anxious," Asta said, shaking her head.

Wanda and Natasha helped her put on the new tiara.

"Just like a princess," Natasha sighed.

"Well, let's go get me married to my prince!"

The three headed up to the roof. Tony stopped Asta and let the maids of honor go ahead.

"Wow! You look beautiful!" he said, holding out his hands in appreciation.

"Aw, thanks," Asta replied.

"You holding up, kiddo?" he asked.

Asta nodded. "Yep… Dad."

Tony sputtered for a moment and gawked at Pepper.

Asta panicked. "If that's ok. I mean, I know you have Morgan and—"

"Asta," he interrupted. "It's fine. Perfect even. I really, really appreciate it."

Pepper laughed. "I think you may be one of the few people to actually have the ability to turn Tony Stark into a rambler!"

"It's an honor. And you… you'll be Mom, right?"

Pepper smiled. "Of course. Happily!" she said as she hugged Asta.

"That's good." She crouched down to Morgan, who was silently watching the whole conversation. "Are you ready for your big scene?"

"Yep!" the little girl answered.

"Basket?"

"Check!"

"Flower petals?"

"Check!"

"Sassy attitude as you toss them?"

Morgan giggled and put her hand on her hip. "Double check!"

"That's my sis!" Asta said as she high fived Morgan.

She stood back up and looked at Tony. "Ready to get me hitched?"

"You sound more like a Stark every day. Yep, let's get you out there."

Tony poked his head out of the door and cued the music. Pepper was escorted in by Thor. Natasha and Wanda made their way down the aisle. And Morgan was the perfect spirited flower girl, as expected. Finally, Asta took Tony's arm and they stepped out.

She looked across the rooftop and found Natasha, Wanda, Shuri, Bruce, Peter, and Steve all standing on the bride's side, and Thor, Clint, Vision, Sam, and Bucky standing on the groom's. They were all wearing a deep green color in gowns or tuxes. Loki was wearing a black tux, green vest, and surprisingly a white shirt. She missed his traditional horned helmet, but assumed he'd wear it to their Asgardian ceremony.

Then she saw all the guests.

Asta smiled as Darcy waved enthusiastically at her, fist bumping her as she walked by.

Finally, they made their way to the front. Tony lifted her veil and kissed each of her cheeks. "If he ever hurts you…"

"I know a guy with an arc reactor I can call."

Tony smiled and made his way to the end of the groomsmen. Asta noticed Loki turning his hand the slightest bit and Tony's tux turned the same green as the other groomsmen. She'd ask about that later.

Asta looked to Loki. "Hey, handsome."

Loki looked awestruck, but shook his head slightly. "In all the realms, I have never seen a more beautiful creature. My love, you look radiant."

The officiant cleared his throat.

Asta jumped and looked over. "Oh, sorry. You can start now."

Everyone laughed and the ceremony began.

Finally, it was time for the vows.

Loki stood up straight, looking every bit like the prince he is. "Asta, my love, my precious, my perfection, there hasn't been a day since we met that I haven't thought of you. Even when we were apart, you were always in my memories and my dreams. And being reunited with you has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I can't understand how I was lucky enough that you agreed to be mine. You complete my life. Everything else now, as you like to say, is just gravy.'"

Asta giggled through her tears.

Loki continued, "My darling, I vow to you that I will ever be yours. My heart, my body, my soul, my life, they all belong to you. I want nothing more in life than to wake up to your beautiful face, spend the day basking in your light, and then fall asleep in your arms. I love you, Asta, with everything I have and for all time."

Asta sighed. "Silvertongue. How do I follow that?" She cleared her throat and looked up at him. "Loki, my mischief, my prince, you were my first friend, my only best friend, and that never changed. I can't remember a time when you weren't in my heart. Even when we were separated, I knew you were still out there, caring for me. I held onto that thought as tightly as I could. It's probably one of the few things that kept me grounded through it all. And now that we're together again, it feels like my life has been made right. That empty space in my heart has finally been filled. Everything else was worth it to get us here. I pledge to you my love, my soul, my body, and my very life. I will spend the rest of forever proving to you that you are worthy and you are loved. Because I love you, more than anything."

The officiant tried to hide the wiping of his eyes, but didn't succeed.

After the exchanging of the rings, there was just one thing left…

"I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss your bride!"

Loki instantly pulled Asta close and dipped her as he kissed her passionately.

There were whistles and catcalls before Tony shouted, "Hey! The rest of us want to get to the party and also don't need to see this!"

Loki lifted her back up and smirked. "To be continued, my princess."

She waggled her eyebrows. "I look forward to it, my prince."
