Here is the fifth chapter of this story released when I wanted it to be in keeping with my self-imposed upload requirements for this series. They've inspected the local area, learned some history, found some food, and formed the Guild so now it is time to put that all together as the Black Bulls gather at the end of their first day in Earth Land to give their reports and decide what to do going forward as the intro arc of this story comes to an end. That is all the administrative stuff I have for you and there are no questions to answer or guest reviews that require a response so I will end this here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from those who enjoy my work. That is it for pre-chapter note so it is time to end it so that y'all can sit back and enjoy the fifth chapter in Black Bull Banishment.
Disclaimer: I own nothing related to these two great animes.
Chapter 5: Reports and Marking
"Alright let's hear it." Yami said as the entire Squad, but Nero who was still on her mission gathered in the common room, the scent of well-cooked meat in the air, as night fell around them. "Give me your reports from your missions today."
It was several hours after they'd arrived in Earth Land and already a lot had happened in that time, but they had all been productive in that time. They had to be given how little they knew about the place that they'd ended up in, so they'd hit the ground running and gotten a good baseline for what the situation around them was like. It was surprisingly productive for the Black Bulls, but such was their improvement in the last few months coupled with the current mission that meant that they were in a good place before their first night in this new world.
Yami had been the last one of them to return with Finral via a portal, well several as it was a fair distance from Era to their current location near the town of Magnolia though Yami still didn't know that, so Finral had to take a few breaks on the way. Before they made their way back he'd had Finral put the new Guild Mark, basically just the Black Bull crest with no color change, on his right shoulder so that it was under the tattered robe he wore there to test it out. It wasn't too large and actually accommodated to his body on his shoulder though personally Yami didn't see the need for it, but such were the rules.
Now his whole Squad, or Guild as they now were and they should get used to using that term while they were in Earth Land, would get it but only after the reports came in. Yami wanted to understand this world first before revealing to them that they were now an official Guild and could begin to earn money here and he fully expected all of them to do just that as they really needed it. Of course, one of the squad had to make sure that that took a moment.
"Are we a Guild now Captain Yami?" Asta asked loudly as he ate his meat that Charmy's group had provided for them, that was the one report that Yami didn't need as it was clear that the food team had gotten just what they needed though a report on the nature of the food in this world would be useful as there might be hunting jobs so understanding the creatures of this world could be useful. "Did everything go well?"
"I asked the first question short stuff." Yami said with a glare. "So, answer it and then I'll let you all know what our status is."
"Sorry Captain." Asta said instantly listening to his Captain. "We do have something to report, we ran into three members of Fairy Tail."
"Good then your group can go first as an update on them was something Julius wanted us to find." Yami said as he took a drag on his cigarette. "What is the situation on the ground near us? Also where are we near?"
"We are near the town of Magnolia." Mimosa said as the rest of the Black Bulls just blinked at Yami for not knowing where they were but then again none of them had until the town inspection teams had come back with that news. "The town where the Fairy Tail Guild is located."
"So, it seems like the key has a set location in this world then." Yami said which made sense to him if it was an item from here then it was likely tied to this area. "I think Julius said that he was near there as well. That is good as it helps a lot. I take it you got some information about their Guild from those members we met."
"We did." Noelle said. "According to them there was an incident about 5 years ago on their sacred ground that caused the whole island to vanish along with the Guild Master and pretty much all of their strongest members. From what we gathered nothing of that place has ever been found since it vanished."
"Based on the numbers that they gave it appears that 18 members of the Guild along with a former member who was one of their strongest were on the island at the time it vanished." Mimosa said recalling the numbers the trio had given her. "It was during their S-Class trial that that Lord Julius spoke of as his last contact with Makarov before he lost contact so that does make sense."
"I see." Yami said as he thought over the news. "Are they dead then?"
"They vanished." Noelle said with a shrug. "So, it is presumed so I think."
"But the kid we met doesn't think so." Asta said. "He's not a happy kid and his ki is depressed but he clearly believes that one day they may be back as the whole island vanished without a trace which I think is strange."
"Without a body no one can confirm or deny it though I know that in our world there is magic powerful enough to do that, so I don't doubt that there is similarly powerful magic here." Yami said. "I guess the best we can do is just wait and see if any trace of it reappears in the future. How did this affect the Guild? Presumably not well."
"According to who we met, some kid called Romeo who is the son of the current Guild Master, and a couple called Bisca and Alzack, Fairy Tail has fallen on hard times in the wake of the incident." Mimosa said. "Without so many strong members they were hit hard and couldn't complete all the jobs that they had been given. This no doubt caused them to lose both money and status because of it. In addition, several other members left in the last 5 years continuing their depletion of members."
"That would certainly affect their finances." Yami said as he thought on what the other royal girl present had said. "From what I've gathered requests are the life blood of a Guild here as that is how they stay operational rather than via funds from the government like our Magic Knight Squads. They can make money in a few other ways, which we certainly will do as we have things to offer this world that it's never seen before, but without the completion of jobs it will be hard. Add in how things here seem to be reputation based and that failure will have a knock-on effect for jobs in the future."
"We deduced a good portion of that from what they said." Noelle said. "They also mentioned that they lost their Guild Hall, likely the other large building in Magnolia at the end of the central road that we saw. The other one is a large church thing."
"It's called Kardia Cathedral." Gauche said while still looking at a picture of Marie as his nose bled. "It's one of the two landmarks that Magnolia is well known for and the oldest of the two with the other being as you presumed the Fairy Tail Guild Hall at the other end of the central path though I guess it's a former Guild Hall now. It is said that Kardia Cathedral is one of the three great churches of the kingdom."
"It was all in the history of Magnolia that Gauche and I read about while in the library." Gordon said quietly but loud enough for all to hear just about. "It's served many purposes and been damaged a few times to the point of needing serious repairs, but it always stood strong in the end."
"Good to know and we will be getting more information from you two in a moment." Yami said. "But what of this Guild Hall? What does it serve now?"
"We don't know." Asta said helpfully. "We ran into those people, chatted about Fairy Tail, and then left them as they had to get back to their current Guild Hall."
"Helpful but I bet our little birdie has more info so when she returns we'll get more info on them from her." Yami said knowing that Nero's intel mission would last a little longer than the others but still hoping that she got back tonight as it would make things easier if she did. "What else can you tell me about Fairy Tail or this world in general?"
"Not much really." Mimosa said. "Fairy Tail is on hard times for those reasons but that was it about it. They were the number one Guild in the kingdom before the incident but aren't anymore and we don't know who is."
"A Guild called Sabertooth." Gauche said. "It was on some list we found about Fiore's Guilds. Apparently they have an annual event called the Grand Magic Games to determine who the strongest is and in recent years they've been the dominant one at them. Apparently they came out of nowhere to take the spot ahead of older, more established, Guilds and have filled the void that was left by the demise of Fairy Tail."
"Is there prize money?" Yami asked caring more about that than anything else.
"About 30 million jewel which is their measure of currency." Gauche said. "Not sure what that equates to, I was too focused on how much of it I would need to spoil my precious Marie."
"It can also be presumed that doing well in the games can lead to better jobs as it improves a Guild's reputation." Gordon said. "Especially if you win it. We missed this year's edition though."
"We'll have to enter it then for the money and reputation boost but not until we've gotten some establishment here and really begun to understand the key Guilds so that we can destroy them when we do enter." Yami said. "Show them what we can do but only after we're ready. We might have to sit the next one out to assess it but after that we should be able to enter after 2 years here."
"Your damn right Captain Yami sir." Asta said loudly. "We'll win for sure and make the Black Bulls number one."
"I just want that money hence why we are taking our time to make sure that we can win it." Yami said as he puffed on his cigarette. "But whatever we will look into it over the next year and decide nearer the time. Anything else from that you want to tell us about what you learned in Magnolia?"
"Just that magic is certainly different here." Noelle said. "Plenty of people don't seem to have it but it is still ubiquitous as they use it a lot more in tools and devices. I can feel the mana in the air, but it is clearly different to what we know. I am sure that it works the same though."
"We'll have to get some in time to see how they work and how they're marketed as we will be selling some items used in our world but not here like brooms." Yami said. "But in time. Did you get any gage on the strength of the people who you met? The two notable guys I met were definitely at the Senior Class level at least if not Grand Magic Knight level for the older dude. I could probably take them, but it would have been a tough fight."
"From what I could sense the trio we faced had about Intermediary Magic Knight level magic wise though with the kid's age being around 12 or so I'd say he was at the Junior Magic Knight level." Mimosa said. "But that was just based off what I could feel. As I know from Asta and the Black Bulls, class level doesn't mean too much in terms of combat ability."
"Magic power does determine most things, other than Asta's anti-magic." Yami said with another puff of his cigarette. "But if it is close enough the attribute or intellect or even fighting style and magic type of the mage plays a role. That will no doubt be the same here. Is that all?"
"That is for now." Noelle said with a nod. "We can go back to find out more in time though."
"Over time you will but for the next few days you will all be studying this kingdom and the surrounding ones so that you can go on jobs and earn money." Yami said. "Other than Finral that is."
"Why me?" Finral asked.
"Because you're going to be going around Fiore and to other important places around it to mark them for fast travel." Yami said glaring at his ride. "I want to be able to move between places with ease. I'll send you on jobs to various places so you can earn money but for the next month starting tomorrow you are to travel to as many places as possible for this reason, got it."
"Y, yes sir." Finral said knowing that it was best not to question his orders.
"Does that mean that we are an official Guild." Asta said excitedly and Yami realized that the cat was out of the bag at that so he may as well tell them that they were one now.
"We are." Yami confirmed. "I went to the Magic Council in Era and after a friendly greeting from the head of their enforcement squad and his goons."
"Please don't tell me you fought them." Noelle said her tone worried as she knew her Captain's reputation well. "We really don't need to start our time off here like that."
"Nah but I could have taken them." Yami said with a grin which didn't help at all. "I just told them why I was there which was apparently strange, especially as I'd just flown in and basically landed on their front lawn, but they let me in and brought me to some Councilmember who asked me a bunch of questions that I answered as best I could without revealing that we weren't from this world to satisfy him before filling out the necessary paperwork. We are now an official Guild so Henry make us a board that we can put requests on."
"Yes Captain." Henry said from his box in his usual slow manner and part of one of the walls rearranged itself to form a board for flyers and what not. "Will that do?"
"It will." Yami said with a nod. "I'll put up the jobs on it after this other than the S-Class jobs which I will keep on me."
"S-Class jobs?" Asta asked.
"Jobs for mages at or near my level." Yami said. "I'll evaluate the squad over the coming year or so to see who is worthy of this classification in time but for now only I will do them. I have to do one or two general jobs for the Council as payment for what they provided us, and I'll do at least one or two more of the fun sounding S-Class ones as they pay really well so they can really boost our finances right at the start."
"What about the rest of us?" Asta asked.
"I'm getting to that." Yami said with a hint of annoyance in his voice that shut up any other questions the gathered Black Bulls might have. "The rest of you will be taking jobs, I expect each of you to do a minimum of 3 per month, or at least earn around half a million jewel a month to start out. 10% of all money earned goes to the Guild fund that I will establish and have Henry guard and manage as he can't go on missions. A portion of any sales of magic items we provide will also go to this fund while the rest goes to whoever here makes them. The rest can be kept by those who completed the mission be it solo or as a team with a prearrange division of money. Understood?"
"Yes Captain." The entire squad including Mimosa said as they understood what was being asked of them.
"Good, we have a bunch of general requests that all Guilds have so get to them right away and make sure you complete them so that we can start getting specific ones as we build up our reputation here." Yami said. "This is going to be the main way that train while here and I expect all of you to do so. Just try to not mess this up too much. Our reputation in Clover was bad for a long time but we didn't mind it, here reputation seems to mean more in terms of money so until we're established try and avoid leveling towns or rearranging the geography."
"We won't." Asta said though most were worried about that, and none pointed out that in the past Yami himself was actually the most destructive one.
"I hope so." Yami said with a sigh. "Alright now that that is over with for the moment, Gauche and Gordon, what did you learn?"
"We went to the library in Magnolia and learned what we could on the Fiore Kingdom and Fairy Tail." Gauche said. "Historically that is as they don't have anything from the last 5 years or so which means that that incident really did hurt them."
"We learned a lot." Gordon said.
"Alright start with the important stuff that we should know about." Yami said. "How does this place work when it comes to mages? Clearly there is a Magic Council, and the Guilds have S-Class mages but is there any other form of ranking system that I should be aware of?"
"There's not really too much to it though there is a sorta ranking system." Gauche said with a shrug. "On this continent there are 10 high ranking mages that are called Wizard Saints, but it is seems to be an honorary title that was bestowed upon them by the Magic Council and can be revoked as was the case with a man called Jose Porla who was a Wizard Saint and the Guild Master of a now disbanded Guild called Phantom Lord but lost both after violating the inter-Guild treaty banning wars between Guilds when he attacked Fairy Tail a little over 5 years ago. That was actually one of the last entries in the history of Fairy Tail that we could find."
"That said these Wizard Saints are powerful as power is a criteria to be named one." Gordon said. "I'd say that they are easily on par with a Magic Knight Captain, but status can come and go."
"Makes sense." Yami said. "There are plenty back in Clover who are stronger than a Captain but aren't for various reasons like Sisgoleon most of the time. So, what do these Wizard Saints do?"
"Other than respond in major emergencies it seems like it's more a title to acknowledge their strength and reputation more than anything else." Gauche said with a shrug. "They have to be well known on this continent and able to fight scores of mages on their own while also having the right attitude to get the position which is awarded to them by the Chairman of the Magic Council. In addition, they are ranked 1 to 10 with the top 4 being considered the Four Emperors of Ishgar due to their power. I'd say that those four could be considered on par with the Wizard King in terms of magic power at least."
"Interesting." Yami said as he thought on it and decided it was best to keep an eye on people like that if possible while also not getting into a fight with them unless absolutely necessary. "Are any of them tied to Fairy Tail?"
"Two." Gordon said. "Makarov Dreyar is a Wizard Saint though as he is missing we couldn't get more information on him other than that he's not been replaced since going missing. In addition, one of the Four Emperors, the one ranked 4th, is a man called Warrod Sequen who is retired but he is one of the four founders of Fairy Tail when it was founded in the year 686."
"And the year now is?" Yami asked.
"789." Gauche said.
"Wait so that means that he's got to be over 100." Yami said as he tried to do the math as did some of the Squad who were trying to comprehend that. "Because he would have had to be an adult when it was founded. Right?"
"He's at least 120 years old though one of the founders was a teen apparently but not him from what we found." Gordon said. "Probably more so. Likely he has some kind of magic that has prolonged his life."
"Magic here is different to how it is back home, we ended up reading a fair bit on that front as well." Gauche said. "For one thing they don't need grimoires here to use their magic at its fullest like we do though there appears to be item based magic styles using things like cards or keys, so they do understand items here. That said we didn't look too much into that while we were in the library."
"Makes sense we did travel here with a key." Yami said. "But our magic is different so that is to be expected."
"It's more than that." Gordon said. "I believe that at least some of our magic, mainly anything involving healing or some of the esoteric spells or unusual attributes that we have would be considered lost magic here."
"Lost magic?" Yami asked. "I think Julius mentioned something like that but what is it?"
"Magic that isn't really known these days as it was removed from history due to its power and the effects of it though there are some people who do use it, so it is a bit of a misnomer." Gauche said. "But only strong mages who are specially trained in it can do so. One type that was mentioned that became lost about 400 years ago is dragon slayer magic which as it sounds is magic that can kill dragons, but dragons are extinct here from what we were able to gather, at least in Ishgar, so it became lost. That said it appears that in recent years several mages have learned it via various methods though we didn't dive into it or other such lost magics."
"Well, we have a healer so we can claim that that is lost magic of sorts and I am sure that my Dark Magic would fall under this category as well at least." Yami said glancing at Mimosa who nodded in agreement. "And Julius did say to treat our grimoires as something akin to a tool that is in the form of forgotten magic so we can use their concept of lost magic there. Add in what else we can do like Asta's Anti-Magic and Vanessa's ability to manipulate fate for us and we're definitely in that category. Best to keep those things under wraps so we will use the general term of lost magic and being from a different land far off to explain it away. Any other differences?"
"Yes they aren't limited to one attribute like basically all of us are." Gordon said surprising everyone. "People here can learn multiple magics, but many chose to specialize exclusively in one. Warrod for example seems to be a master of plant or nature magic."
"It is rare for a mage to use multiple styles, but some do." Gauche said. "Some of the strongest are at that level because they are masters of more than one type of magic but even then they're likely to specialize in one particular kind."
"That would make sense." Yami said. "Easier to perfect one magic than multiple kinds but having a few different ones could come in handy for those who use them so something else to be considered when we face strong opponents."
"Oh, but is my Anti-Magic still unique?" Asta asked excitedly. "That's basically all I have."
"Yes and no." Gordon said which really didn't help at all. "I checked for my best friend and there is a magic called Wave Magic that can dispel other magics, but it is still a form of magic from what I could gather so while it works like your Anti-Magic it isn't that at the same time. I theorize that should you ever face a Wave Magic user you can dispel their magic with your Anti-Magic. Of course there may be magic negating items here as well, we don't know enough about that yet though."
"Wait so there's magic that can negate magic, but my Anti-Magic will negate this negation magic." Asta said holding his head as he tried to think on it and groaned in pain from it. "This hurts to think about."
"Just don't think about it Dorksta." Noelle said dismissively though not uncaringly. "Swing you swords and hope for the best, that usually works out for you."
"Ok can do." Asta said deciding to not think too hard on things and perking up. "If I do find one of those magic users I'll just hit them with my sword and show that my Anti-Magic is the real deal."
"Anyway, back to the thing at hand." Yami said ignoring Asta's shouting and looking to Gordon and Gauche again. "We need more info on the magic here so add that to things to look into, but did you get a history of Fairy Tail at least?"
"We did." Gauche said. "As they've been in Magnolia since their founding and from then until recently they were the only legal Wizard Guild here they are well recorded here. Apparently they came to this area as just four mages, three treasure hunters and a girl from a place called Tenrou Island, to find something that Blue Skull had stolen from there. It was also to avenge her former Guild, well her parents' Guild I think as she had to have been too young to join it, because they'd been destroyed by the Dark Guild Blue Skull that had control over Magnolia at the time. This was before the inter-Guild Treaty that banned legal Guilds from going to war with each other but even if so Blue Skull weren't legal it seems."
"Whatever the case the quartet helped out and saved the town from the Dark Guild though there appears to have been some other issues that happened around this that involved them, but the details were a little beyond our current understanding of this world." Gordon said. "Whatever the case, they then decided to stay and formed a Guild with the girl, Mavis Vermillion, becoming the first Guild Master and the three men leaving their treasure hunters Guild and joining as founding members of Fairy Tail. Those men were the aforementioned Warrod, Precht Gaebolg, and Yuri Dreyar."
"We heard about Mavis a little as well." Mimosa said while a Yami thought on the last name and noted that the surname was the same as Makarov's. "The people we met asked if I was related to her because we have the same surname but of course I'm not and I told them as much. We learned that she was the first Guild Master but died many years ago."
"Correct, she died in the year 697 which was about seven years after the Second Trade War where she was a vital commander and that was what led to the inter-Guild Treaty." Gauche said. "It was a year after Makarov was born to Yuri and his wife so that is their connection. Mavis's cause of death is unknown and based on the reports she was rather young, mid-twenties or so, at the time of her death. Afterwards Precht became the 2nd Guild Master of Fairy Tail."
"If Julius was here about 72 years ago, at least when he arrived, then he would have come here in the year 717 so this would have been a member under that second Guild Master." Yami said as he did some quick math. "What happened to Precht and this other founder Yuri?"
"Yuri died young though we don't know of what only 4 years after his son was born, and his wife apparently died in childbirth." Gordon said which surprised them. "Leaving Makarov to be raised by the Guild it seems but that's all we got. Precht would serve as Guild Master until 736 when he retired and left the Guild with Makarov as the new master. Nothing has been seen or heard about Precht since then other than that he was on some kind of journey hence why he left. Given the time frame it is likely that he is long dead."
"Probably but if we ever do find this Makarov character we could ask about it for Julius's sake as he alone knew Julius's true origin." Yami said. "Anything else?"
"No that's all we had time for." Gauche said.
"Very well you two will go back there over the coming weeks around doing jobs to get more information on the magic here, history of the notable Guilds, and basically anything else that might be of use to us." Yami said. "Food team, anything to report?"
"There are a lot of yummy nums here." Charmy said as she continued to eat the food she'd gathered. "Plenty of beasts and fish for meat and fruit and vegetables to go with them."
"Alright well we will still need to supplement our food reserves with hunted and gathered food, especially because at some point I want to find a similar location for our hideout as what we had in Clover, so you are to focus on jobs that allow for that." Yami said. "There should be a few and make sure you get the meat as well as the coin for it if possible."
"Will do Captain." Charmy said. "Where there is food there is Charmy."
"Alright with that done now it is time for the final thing that we have to do as a Guild in this world." Yami said as he pulled out the stamp from a pouch on his belt. "Under the rules for Guilds here, and apparently this applies on all continents, we are required to have the mark of our Guild on our bodies to identify where we are from. Even Dark Guilds do it apparently, so this is non-negotiable just as being a Legal Guild means that we are subject to that inter-Guild treaty that I expect all of you to read so that we don't violate it."
"Oh, that explains the tattoo we saw." Asta said. "So, we get the Black Bull crest on us, cool."
"I'd rather not mar my royal flesh with something like that." Noelle said flicking a pigtail. "Can't our robes be enough?"
"We can still wear them, but this is a requirement according to the Councilman I met with." Yami said as he flicked up his cloak to show the mark on his shoulder and those who'd seen the Fairy Tail mark on Romeo noted that it was about the size of that. "Now line up so that I can put it on you. Henry, I'm not sure this will work with you, but you are a member regardless and recorded as such."
"If it is magic then I will probably absorb it." Henry said slowly. "Sorry."
"I believe it is and it requires a little magic to put on so even Asta can't put it on you." Yami said as he looked around. "It might work but better to be safe so as to avoid it. Now get to it, I want to go to sleep soon so hurry up."
"Me first Captain Yami." Asta said bounding forward enthusiastically and ripping off his top much to the embarrassment of Noelle and Mimosa at seeing his naked chest despite both of them having seen it plenty of times before, well Noelle had at least. "Right on my chest and over my heart."
"Fine." Yami said a he grabbed Asta's shoulder to stop him from moving and stamped him where he asked with a quick, hard, move. "There you go."
There was a flash of magic and when Yami removed it the Black Bull crest in its trademark black and gold was there over Asta's heart. His eyes were stars as he looked at, but Yami just moved him along and with a glare the rest of the squad lined up for the mark.
"Will this remain when we return?" Finral asked as he went next and got it on his back between his shoulder blades.
"Don't know and don't care." Yami said. "I've never seen Julius naked, and he is always covered by his robes so I don't know where his would be as he was a member of Fairy Tail, unless he had to remove it when he left them to return to our world that is. Now no more questions so that I can get this over with."
The rest did so in silence as they got the mark on them. Magna being Magna got it on the left side of his neck, Luck went for it on right calf, Charmy opted for her back as that was the only real spot for her size, Gauche didn't care so Yami stamped his right shoulder, Grey nervously allowed it on her right abdomen before running off in embarrassment, Zora went for his right ribs, Noelle and Mimosa both agreed to have it on their left thighs, Gordon got it on the back of his left hand, and lastly Vanessa got it on her chest so that the top part rested on her bosom and the lower head was in her cleavage.
Only Nero was left but as they finished she flew in and reformed to give her own report as she didn't need as much time as she had expected to get a basic understanding of what was left of Fairy Tail. She told them that Fairy Tail now had a Guild Hall in a rundown inn that was owned by the other Guild in the town called Twilight Ogre who were extorting them for rent and had become the main Guild in Magnolia but weren't a pleasant one.
It wasn't much more than they already knew but it was something to go on and Nero was assigned to look into not just Twilight Ogre but the other Guilds of Fiore as a bird around her jobs which would be cover. Still, the whole extortion didn't make them, especially Zora due to his hatred for corruption and abuse of power, uncomfortable but as both were legal Wizard Guilds they couldn't attack them. That said, Yami did give Zora permission to be a nuisance to them to his hearts content so long as he still got his jobs done and it didn't blow back on them which Zora could do just fine.
Nero also agreed to keep a close eye on Twilight Ogre for illegal activity in addition to learning about the other major Guilds in the kingdom though when she was not doing this she'd be with Asta to look over him while he did his jobs and have some fun with the clear love triangle that he was oblivious to. That and someone neutral had to look after that group to keep them from causing too much trouble. After all this Nero was the last to get the Guild Mark and accepted it on her right shoulder blade thus completing the squad minus Henry who couldn't get the mark.
By this point it was late and Yami ordered them all to bed as he began to put up the jobs that they were to start doing some tomorrow. All they had to do was take the flyer they wanted and go out and complete it though he did mark some that would be for Finral, Nero, or Charmy as part of specific reasons due to their skills.
The others could take what they wanted from the board but still had to do them so that they could get money and establish themselves. With all this the time of the Black Bulls in Earth Land had begun and it was going to be a grinding of training and jobs as they established themselves over the coming months.
Well, there it is they've given their reports and now the whole Squad knows more about Earth Land, enough to start out at least, and that they are an official Guild complete with marks. Now they can begin working on jobs and building the reputation of the Black Bulls though they will have to grind it out at the start as they are a new Guild with no reputation yet. As such there will be a time skip to the next chapter as these early jobs and the training aren't really interesting so we will be advancing to next key moment for them as we move into the transition part of the first act of this story and near the point of Fairy Tail's return. If there is interest in this kind of thing I may do a supplement to this story in the future to cover it but for now there will be a time skip in the wake of the formation of the Black Bull Guild. That is all I have for y'all so I will leave this chapter off here. If you liked this please favorite, follow, leave a review, or let me know in a PM and I will try to answer any questions posed in reviews and PMs as best I can. Until next time.
