Here is the fifth chapter in this story released early as a Christmas present for y'all seeing as I am currently ahead of schedule with all my writings. We are picking up right after the last chapter so there really isn't anything else to add here as I am sure you know what is coming in this chapter. That is all I have for the administrative stuff but there is a question to answer from the reviews so I will do that now. Do keep them coming as your support is the best motivation for me to keep producing chapters at this kind of rate.

Will there be a time jump from the last chapter to the inclusion of Asta and Noelle? No there won't be, Akame still needs to meet the squad after all. In fact there won't be a major time jump of longer than I think 6 months between now and the chapter when Asta and Noelle debut in this series as there is a lot to come over the first few arcs before we reach the starting point of the Black Clover timeline so plenty more to look forward to before we see the effect that Akame and Tatsumi whenever he shows up have on the events of Black Clover.

That is it for this pre-chapter note so it is time to sit back and enjoy the fifth chapter in Akame ga Clover.

Disclaimer: I own nothing related to these two great animes.

Chapter 5: Bulls

Finral was waiting in the courtyard for Yami and the girl he'd captured to be done with whatever they were doing here with the Wizard King. He still didn't really know why there was a captured girl, especially a cutie like her, when he'd returned to the hideout, but he was sure that Yami would tell him when all this was over.

Despite Yami using him mainly as transport, he trusted his Captain and knew that Yami valued him as member of the Squad even if he had an odd way of showing it. After what Finral had dealt with regarding his father's disappointment and his half-brother Langris's skills and ascension over him as family heir, Finral was glad that Yami accepted him for who he was and valued him regardless of his deficiencies and flaws.

Of course, right now Finral would rather be in a bar chatting up a beautiful lady or back at the base sleeping off the rejections he'd gotten today, but Yami had to deal with their captive, so he was one transport duty again. Given that this was a meeting with the Wizard King and that Finral hadn't been dismissed, he just had to wait for it to be over to get back and crash, after dealing with the mess that would no doubt be waiting for him when they got back. The only thing that really bugged Finral was how long would this meeting take, after all it was clearly just a prisoner transfer so why was it taking so long.

However, it did take long, over an hour at least and Yami didn't come out which meant that this had to be really serious to keep him so long. In the end Finral just chalked it up to Yami having to fill out some report due capturing someone, which would make the Captain cranky, so Finral was more than ready to get back and go to bed as soon as they returned to their hideout.

At least that was what Finral thought until finally Yami emerged from the tower and into the courtyard with the girl he'd captured in toe but unbound now. Finral noticed that as he got up from where he was sitting to go meet them, noting that the mana coming from the girl exceeded his own though she was clearly not nobility, and that's when he stopped and blinked. The girl was now wearing a Black Bulls robe and her grimoire had been returned to her as he could make out the spine of it in the red satchel at her left hip.

"Um, Captain?" Finral asked as he arrived. "What's going on here?"

"We're going back so that I can introduce the newest member of the rest of the Squad." Yami said as if it was nothing, his ever-present cigarette glowing in his mouth as he took a puff of it. "But I guess you can know her first. Finral, this is Akame, she tried to kill me today and is now a Black Bull. Akame, this is my ride Finral."

Finral was too stunned by what Yami had just said about the girl in such a nonchalant tone to complain about being referred to as Yami's ride, again. He just turned to look at the girl who looked back at him with a neutral expression, her red eyes boring into his and he could see a cold depth to them that both unnerved him but also added to her appeal.

"Hello." Akame said with a slight bow of her head as she closed her eyes to do so. "As the boss said, I am Akame, and I am your new teammate. I hope you can accept me despite how I ended up here."

"You're not the first to fight me and get recruited because of it." Yami barked with a laugh. "Or the first that was captured though in Charmy's case it wasn't because she attacked me, she was just hungry."

"Hold up, I know how Gauche was recruited but still." Finral said looking to Yami and missing the stuff about Charmy because he was too focused on the finite details of Akame's recruitment. "She tried to kill you! How does that qualify her for the Squad?"

"I was just doing my job; the boss was just too talented for my current skill level, so my surprise attack failed, and he defeated me." Akame said neutrally. "Then he offered me a chance to help and possibly join the Black Bulls. Seeing as I wanted an escape that life I cooperated."

"I'll give the whole squad the full story when we get back." Yami said. "It's classified and we now have a new mission fit only for us so make haste Finral, I want to get back already seeing as it's been a really long day."

"Um ok." Finral said just going with it at this point because he had no other options and looking at Akame. "Well, er, welcome to the Black Bulls. I'm Finral Roulacase, Spatial Mage and lover. I happen to know some great places for pasta…"

"Are you trying to ask me out already?" Akame said tilting her head, she didn't have much experience in this kind of thing, she wasn't on the seduction squad after all, so she didn't really know more than what she'd been briefly told by those on it, but she knew the basics. "Is that what you're doing as the first thing upon meeting me?"

"Well, it doesn't have to be that at first, it…" Finral said a little startled by Akame's words before petering out nervously at the intensity of her look.

Akame just kept looking at him thinking. She wasn't sure what but the fact that this new teammate had asked her out, which she could tell that she didn't want in that sense, had triggered something within her. It was tied to those nebulous feelings and skills that she'd had all her life and in particular that warm one, the one that had always told her to survive, push forward, and find her own happiness beyond this world of pain and death that she knew. She still wasn't sure what that feeling exactly referred to, but her heart now sped up a hair at it and she knew instinctively what it meant.

Thanks to this man asking her out Akame had finally been able to realize what the core of that feeling was. It was love, a love for someone who truly owned her heart, a love so deep and pure that it transcended lifetimes, not that she knew that part. It was something that she could feel even if she knew she'd never felt it before and certainly didn't apply to any of the men she'd known in her life up unto this point which just added to her confusion over it. Regardless, something told her to hold onto it, to use it to fuel her and that maybe one day she'd be able to figure it out.

"No." Akame said bluntly after her pause had become extremely awkward causing Finral to blanch and Yami to laugh. "If you know a good meat place then tell me but otherwise don't try, my heart belongs to another even if I don't know who he is at the moment."

Finral just looked confused at all that but Yami, despite his near legendary density when it came to matters of the heart, didn't in some sense because of what he'd just seen. Whatever Akame was talking about, it had to do with that weird block in her memory. Well, he got the feeling that she'd be able to put it on hold for the moment, she was a Magic Knight now, so she had to focus on that.

"Finral, stop gawking and make us a portal already." Yami said with a threatening growl that came from both his throat and gut at the same time. "Or do you want me to kill you."

"No, of course not, right away." Finral said as his grimoire opened, and he created a portal before them to get himself out of this situation as fast as possible. "One portal home, let's go."

Yami just grunted as he turned and entered it followed by Akame and then Finral before it closed behind him. It was time to introduce Akame to the squad.

The portal exited right in front of the hideout, the damage Akame and Yami's battle had done to the forest too far from it to be seen and as they were facing the large double doors that entered the building it didn't matter right now. As soon as all three were through the portal and it was closed Yami took a puff of his cigarette before walking forward to the door.

"Well, welcome to your new home." Yami said as he threw open the doors to a cacophony of noise. "I think you'll fit in just fine with us."

Akame walked forward confused and looked into the room. When she'd been captured she'd not had the time to study it but now she did and it was a rather impressive, if slightly grimy and strange, room. Still, it was a lot nicer that the facilities at the assassin camp she'd called home for the last few years, which was very spartan, and it seemed like a fitting place for the Black Bulls.

The room itself was clearly the main common room and it was a vast room, two stories tall with a high ceiling and a narrow balcony draped in red drapes around the second level with doors leading into the rest of the hideout on each side. The only door deeper into it on the floor level was a large one with a red curtain over it at the opposite end while the room itself was well apportioned.

There was no carpet, just flagstones of varying shapes in no clear pattern for the floor that fit with the eclectic style of the building itself. In the back right corner from where Akame was standing was a circular, wrap around, couch that didn't really fit the corner but with pillars in the corners it couldn't do that anyway while a random chest of drawers was at one end of the sofa. In front of the couch was a circular table covered in empty bottles while a wooden bar was opposite it with standard chairs in front of it and plenty of bottles of booze behind it. There was also a random chaise in by the sofa, a few arm chairs, barrels, and a large circular table with chairs around it.

All in all, it was utterly random with no sense of style but at the same time totally fit with the Black Bulls misfit motif. However, the décor was nothing compared to the people in the room, Akame's new squad mates. She took it all in with wide eyes though just the sight of such a strange crew brought a strange warmth to her chest, one of familiarity but it certainly wasn't due to her last dwelling and its occupants. Rather she felt like she once knew a home like this, but she couldn't place it in her mind so to avoid thinking of it she focused on the other Black Bulls that were present in the room.

The main source of the noise was two boys in their late teens, maybe 17 if Akame had to guess, possibly 16, who were causing the ruckus. One, a blond haired, fair skinned boy in a green smoak thing under his Black Bull robe, was zipping around in the air as a pair of boots made of lightning encased his feet laughing hysterically the entire time and dodging what looked like fireballs with ease. The fireballs were coming from the other boy, a punk looking dude with black and gray hair, a scar on his forehead, and shades who had a flaming bat that he was using to hit the fireballs while yelling at the lightning boy about him stealing his desert.

The rest of the room seemed unphased by what was going on around them as all were doing their own thing that Akame looked around with an odd wonder. Clearly what was going on was so normal that the Black Bulls just ignored as background noise, so Akame did that as she looked over the other members.

The first one she notices was a teen roughly the age of the two fighting with light brown hair that fell over his left eye and wearing a purple shirt under his robe was in a corner at another table making a doll of a little girl with a creepy grin on his face and blood flowing from his nose for some reason that Akame didn't want to think about. Meanwhile, a large, heavy set, um, man Akame guessed, dressed in a black robe thing sat on the couch with smoke coming from his mouth staring into space as a man in a strange dark gray outfit with what looked like black lipstick and eyeliner sat next to him muttering to himself.

The last two occupants were women showing Akame that she wouldn't be the only girl in the Squad. One was a tall, stunning, and incredibly busty, seriously her bust made even Akame a little self-conscious and she wasn't small in that department at all, pink haired woman in nothing but blood red lingerie lounging on the chaise with several empty bottles of wine around her clearly shitfaced from them. The final one was the one that instantly peaked Akame's interest when she saw her as she was a tiny girl with black hair and in a long white shirt thing sitting at the circular table feasting on more food than an army could eat as cotton sheep continually brought her more and more food.

That last one made Akame drool as she looked at the food, a lot of it was meat that looked exceptionally well cooked, as she hadn't eaten in a while. She was even jealous of the little girl, who's height was such that her feet stuck out from the chair and didn't come close to the floor, as even Akame couldn't eat that much or that fast and that was saying something.

"Hey, listen up." Yami yelled but it didn't work so he coated his arm in reinforcement magic and punched the wall out with a loud boom causing all to stop what they were doing or wake up to look over to see Yami there with Finral and a new girl in a Black Bulls robe. "There we go now front and center, we have a new member."

Akame had to give it Yami, he was clearly a good leader and commanded the respect of all the squad as almost instantly all were in front of him and on their knees in a sitting position within seconds of his yell which given that one was eating, one was drunk, and two were fighting was saying something. Clearly this was some kind of ritual or whatever and Akame would probably have to learn it in time. For now, though it gave her a chance to look at the team and they at her.

"Well, introduce yourself." Yami said to her. "This is most of the squad though a few are elsewhere on missions or what not I don't really know as I don't keep track of them."

"Oh right." Akame said as she looked at the team and gave them a small bow just like she'd done with Finral. "Hello, my name is Akame, and I've joined the Black Bulls today. I look forward to getting to know you."

"Captain Yami sir." The glasses wearing punk dude said seriously. "How did we end up with a new member all of a sudden? The exam has already happened, and the next won't be for several months so where is she from?"

"Right about that, well she tried to kill me earlier." Yami said as if it was nothing. "But I beat her, captured her, and then offered her a place in the Squad. I did have to restrain her and lock her up before taking her to the Wizard King to confirm her story and get approval hence why I was away for a few hours but now that that's over Akame here has become a Black Bull. I have free reign to recruit how and who I like and Akame here fit that bill perfectly."

The entire squad looked at Akame with a mix of shock, surprise, or anger and she flushed a little at all the attention. Thanks to her, er, childhood she wasn't the most socially skilled person, and all this attention was a bit much for her.

"Can I tell them?" Akame said looking to Yami. "I'd like there to be no secrets from the start. If I am to be accepted like you do then they should know the truth as to how I ended up here."

"Huh, oh right sure." Yami said before glaring at the squad. "But this is classified information, you aren't to spill, or I'll kill you, got that? We have a mission in relation to this because frankly we're the only Squad who can pull it off so pay attention."

"Yes Captain Yami." Most said seriously though the big dude just exhaled smoke and the busty woman slurred her words.

"Go on." Yami said to Akame.

"Yes, well, um, to put it bluntly, I'm only 15 and recently got my grimoire a few months ago but when I was a child I was sold to some people who train assassins to be used by certain nobles who wish to eliminate enemies by using disposable assassins like me." Akame said bluntly to the shocked team. "My magic is strong and unique meaning I might survive, so I fetched a high price apparently."

"Survive?" The punk kid asked before he was silenced by a glare from Yami.

"Yes survive, I managed that because I had a strong will to do so." Akame said simply. "To ensure that only those worthy of becoming assassins survived we were chucked into a strong magic region for a few years to see if we could survive it using only our wits and magic without a grimoire to aid us. Of over 100 kids who were dumped in that strong magic region only 17 of us managed to survive it and make it to the training stage. Now 9 of us still live as that training was also brutal because for the last few years they trained us to become a deadly killers so that once we got our grimoires and learned some spells we could be useful. My first mission was to kill the foreigner who led the Black Bulls, Yami Sukehiro."

"As you can tell that didn't work but she really impressed me in our fight." Yami said and for the first time the Squad noticed that he had a few bandages on his shoulders showing that Akame had landed some glancing blows. "Kinda like how Gauche did a while back only Akame lasted longer before I beat her and offered her the chance to join us."

"I was sent to kill or die but I want out of that life and to see those who used me for their own corrupt means eliminated." Akame said. "This is the best way to do so. I've provided all that I know to the Wizard King and in exchange I have been allowed to join the Black Bulls though I am under a suspended sentence for attempting to murder Captain Yami."

"So similar to Gauche then, without the murder part." The punk said. "Got it."

"Shut it." The man in purple who had to be Gauche snarled before looking to Akame. "So long as you don't harm my angelic sister Marie I won't care why you're here."

"Um I don't know her so I wouldn't." Akame said a little taken aback by the man though at the mention of little sister she felt a pang in her chest for some reason though as far as she knew she didn't have a sister though given how she was sold her parents could have had one after her to sell just like they'd done with her. "I may have no problems killing or dying because those who aren't prepared to die should not kill, but only on my terms and only when the need arises."

"This is my sister Marie; you may bask in her cuteness." Gauche said holding up a picture of a smiling blonde-haired girl of around 8 who was waving at the camera, his nose bleeding even more than before as he spoke which gave Akame the creeps. "Now you know her and to not harm her or else I'll kill you."

"Noted." Akame said and she didn't doubt the man so decided it was best to just leave him and his sister alone.

"As for the rest of the squad." Finral said stepping forward and pointing them out. "You know Gauche Adlai now; he loves his sister a little too much but he's good people. Next to him is Magna Swing, he's a street punk with fire magic but he's good people."

Magna grinned at Akame who nodded back as Finral confirmed that he was the punk looking kid. She'd already pegged him as loyal to Yami and a commoner from the sticks, but his magic looked strong, and he clearly enjoyed a scrap, so he seemed alright.

"Then there is Luck Voltia." Finral said gesturing to the blonde dude who'd been fighting Magna earlier and now a large smile on his face and lust for battle in his eyes that Akame recognized and respected. "He's addicted to fighting but he's good people."

"Let's spar sometime." Luck said in a slightly high-pitched voice as he seemed to fidget despite sitting on his knees. "If you can face the Captain then I bet you're strong."

"Sure, my magic isn't good against lighting, so I'd like to test myself." Akame said with a smile at him, a good challenge was always worth it, and she'd seen him use his Lightning Magic earlier and it looked fast so a good test for her for sure.

"The large guy is Grey." Finral said moving onto the large dude who just blew out smoke before moving onto the next guy, the one with the black lipstick and eyeliner with white full-face makeup on, or at least that's what it looked like to Akame. "And next to him is Gordon Agrippa, both of them are quiet and keep to themselves but they're good people."

Gordan was muttering something fast and softly that Akame couldn't make out but nodded at him as Grey blew out more smoke that Akame just presumed was a greeting. Gordon was talking about how great friends they'd become but she didn't hear it though she wasn't one to judge on appearance, so she was fine with him, and Grey for that matter, as Finral moved onto the first of the two women, the stacked pink haired one in her underwear. Well two women that Akame could confirm as none of them yet knew what Grey really looked like.

"Next is Vanessa Enoteca, she's a lecherous drunkard with no shame but she's good people." Finral said.

"Let's get a drink, I'll teach you how to use your womanly ways, hic." Vanessa said as she hiccupped, she was still slightly drunk but clearly able to still be somewhat competent.

"I've never really drunk or used my womanly ways before." Akame said unsure what to say to the stacked woman. "So, I'll probably pass on that for now."

"And lastly we have Charmy Pappitson." Finral said gesturing to the tiny girl who'd somehow pulled out a cupcake from where Akame wasn't sure and was now munching on it. "She's a gluttonous, bottomless, pit but she's good people."

"Well, there you have it." Yami said. "Make Akame feel welcome, thanks to her we have a mission to find and destroy those assassins though it is on hold for the moment while the Wizard King and Mushroom Head go over the information to find a lead for us."

"Alright then it's time for your initiation." Magna said getting to his feet with a grin. "You may have impressed Yami but if you want to wear that robe you'll have to show all of us what you're made of."

"Then I can share my taste num nums with you." Charmy said with a smile at Akame.

"Wait really?" Akame said stars in her eyes as she looked at Charmy, the mere mention of food was enough to get her on your side and the food that the girl had been eating had smelt heavenly so clearly she was a huge foodie that Akame couldn't help but respect. "Then what are we waiting for, who's testing me?"

"Someone's eager." Luck said excitedly as he hopped to his feet with lightning sparking already showing how keen he was to fight Akame. "I'll…"

"Oh no, not you battle freak." Magna said shaking his head and holding out an arm to stop Luck though making sure not to touch him with it so as to avoid getting fried by it. "I get to test the rookies for Yami, you're too much of a wildcard for this to be effective. Let's head outside and sort this out."

"Ok but there'd better be meat when this is done." Akame said eagerly. "I really want some meat, it smelt so good earlier."

"Right, my Sheep Cooks are the best." Charmy said. "They'll whip us up a feast when this is done."

"Meat and booze." Vanessa slurred as Akame turned and headed outside into the clearing around the building.

"I'm too young for that." Akame said though in all honesty it was more due to her lack of experience with alcohol than her age. "I just want food."

"I like you already." Charmy said with a smile as the whole squad filed outside, bringing a sofa with them for some reason, and Magna took a position away from them in the clearing causing Akame to do the same while making sure she was a decent distance from him as she had no idea what was coming. "Don't hurt her Magna."

"Knowing Akame it might be best the other way around." Yami said with a snort. "Finral, be on guard. I haven't mentioned Akame's magic for a reason but it's not the safest kind. This is going to be interesting for sure."

"Um ok." Finral said nervously as he got his grimoire out just in case while Akame and Magna squared off.

"First your physical prowess." Magna ordered. "5,000 crunches and then 5,000 pushups."

"That all?" Akame said as she sat down and got into position to do crunches, her years of training had conditioned the need for physical fitness as well as magical fitness into her as a means of survival. "Alright."

She then proceeded to shock everyone present by doing just that and in fast, near perfect, form. It wasn't exactly 5,000, that would have been ridiculous, but she showed off her physical prowess well with them. She was clearly well above average for a girl her age, hell she was above average for a boy her age. Given the fitness of the squad only Captain Yami was fitter than her it seemed though muscles really didn't mean much in a world where magic was everything.

Akame continued to show this with strength training by lifting a few heavy rocks though she refused to try and break one without magic, especially with her head. Once that was done though it was onto the magic side of this little test.

"Seems like you're stronger than I expected." Magna said a little surprised and nervous, this girl was stronger than him and if it came to hand to hand he was sure she'd win within seconds, so he was certainly grateful that magic was a thing.

"Had to be to survive, this is nothing to me." Akame said with a shrug. "So, what's next?"

"The final test of your baptism, a test of your combat capabilities." Magna said as his grimoire glowed and floated up, flipping pages to a spell as a fireball formed in his hand. "Using any skills at your disposal, be they magic or otherwise, you must dodge and defend against my attack magic. Do that and you will pass."

"That all?" Akame said calmly. "Alright, send your best at me. I doubt you can do worse than what I've been through over the years."

"Grab your grimoire and get ready." Magna said as the fire bat came out of his grimoire as well and Akame's own grimoire glowed and floated as she got ready for this. "And go."

At that Magna let go of the fireball so that it hovered in the air and began to hit it repeatedly with the fire bat. Every hit sent another fireball at Akame who was impressed by the spell as it was a solid mid-range one, but it was still slow by her standard, and she easily dodged and flipped over the balls before she suddenly darted forward before Magna could change spells.

"Blade Creation Magic: Singular Sword." Akame yelled as the whole squad, but Yami gasped at her magical attribute.

Akame had been holding her hand out in front of her and a long sword suddenly appeared before her and shot towards Magna. However, it was not aimed at him, but the fireball that was hovering in the air, slamming into it and causing it to explode. Magna dispersed the flames as he backed up from it, bat still in hand, as Akame prepared her finishing blow.

"Blade Creation Magic: Murasame." Akame said as her grimoire flipped over to the right page, and the handle of her magical katana appeared as the final flames from Magna's now destroyed fire spell faded.

She drew it out and slashed it up, blunting the edge as she did so that it wasn't lethal, and into Magna's chest before he could react and in one smooth motion. Magna grunted as he instantly dropped his bat before he was blasted back and into a tree where he slid down groaning though he'd have nothing worse than a bruise for a few days, the bat vanishing now that his focus on the spell had been destroyed.

"Sorry." Akame said a little sheepishly as she hurried over to Magna and offered him her hand to help him up, Murasame in her other hand. "To me offense is defense. All my spells are attack spells so that was the best I could do when it comes to something like this."

"Damn, I can see why they sent you after Yami." Magna said with a groan as he checked to make sure that he didn't have any broken bones, which he didn't thankfully. "That's some crazy magic you got there; I've never heard of Blade Magic before."

"In my experience no one has so I've never known another with it." Akame admitted as she helped Magna to his feet. "Good thing it allows me to control the sharpness of the blades I make so that I can prevent lethality when needed."

"I'd say." Magna said his eyes wide as he now understood just how lethal the girl was. "Good thing you joined us. Welcome to the Black Bulls Akame."

"Thank you." Akame said with a smile as she helped Magna back and the other members cheered for her and prepared to mock Magna for his quick defeat at her hands.

"Fight me next." Luck said shadow boxing the air. "I can tell that you're a strong opponent."

"Next time, metal conducts lightning so I'm not great against it." Akame said with a smile as her stomach growled to tell her that it was time to eat. "Um, is there any food?"

"Come with me." Charmy said grabbing Akame's hand and dragging her in, she was now part of the Squad so a friend who she could share her food with. "Sheep Cooks, a feast for our new member."

Feast it was as Akame was placed in a chair and a series of anthropomorphic sheep in chefs hats suddenly appeared and began to whip up a meal heavy in meat just for Akame. Almost as soon as the first plate was put in front of her, Akame finished it to the shock of all, even Charmy, as she polished of a second one a few seconds later. Not to be outdone, Charmy immediately began to eat as well, and an impromptu eating contest began between the two girls that the others watched with a mix of fascination and horror.

This time however even Akame had met her match. She had no idea where the little girl put it all but even Akame couldn't match Charmy and tapped out after a time that was disturbing to everyone present. The little girl had an appetite to end the world it seemed and Akame had nothing but respect for her for it. Well, that and her cooking which was fantastic so if Charmy could fight even half as good as she could cook she'd be a really strong mage in Akame's opinion.

After that, the rest of the evening was standard as it was late and after the day Akame had had, and the food from Charmy, she was exhausted so Vanessa and Charmy took her up to the girls side, Thread Magic that turned out to be Vanessa's guarded it with lethal traps that would only trigger if a male set foot there, and to her new room.

"Well, here it is." Vanessa said the alcohol wearing off and the hangover coming so she needed more booze to fend it off as she opened a door to show Akame her new room. "It's not much but it's home."

Akame just smiled at it, she'd never had a room to herself before and never one with furnishing like this, so she didn't mind at all. All the room had was a simple bed in a wood frame, a desk, a table, chair, small bookcase, two chamber pots, and a few lamps but it was more than enough for her. In time Akame would add to it as she earned money and got things of her own but for now it was perfect. There was even a window looking out over the forest. For the first time that Akame could remember she was happy.

"It's great, thank you." Akame said with a smile at the taller woman, noting that her bust was so large that it fully separated her robe at, so it had to be fastened at her throat though why she was wearing it in only her underwear made no sense to Akame.

"Alright, either me or Charmy will see you in the morning for a tour." Vanessa said with a smile of her own at Akame. "Us girls gotta stick together after all."

"Thank you." Akame said. "I can't wait."

Vanessa just nodded before turning and leaving. Akame just closed the door and let out a breath as all her worries seemed to melt away. She'd started today as an assassin on a mission, and she'd ended it with a new lease on life as a Magic Knight under the very man she'd been sent to kill and with an ally as powerful as the Wizard King to help her fully break free from her past in time. This was the new life she was seeking, and she couldn't wait for it.

Akame was still smiling as she stripped naked, she had no pajamas so this would do until she bought some, maybe something pink and feminine that would look cute on her as she'd never had anything like that before and got into bed. She was exhausted and was asleep in seconds looking forward to what the future held for her.

A nice, short by my standards, chapter for Akame's introduction to the Black Bulls as their newest member complete with a baptism and feast with someone who can out eat her. Akame is now home in this world even with her memories still blocked and it is time for her to fully settle in as a Magic Knight for the Black Bulls. There isn't much more that I have for this chapter, next up is the final chapter in Akame's intro arc, so I'll just leave this off here. If you liked it then please follow, favorite, review, PM, etc. it is all appreciated and helps me get better and stay motivated to keep producing more content and any questions asked I will do my best to answer both privately and at the start of the next chapter. Until next time.
