Here is the thirtieth chapter of this story released when I wanted it to be in keeping with my self-imposed upload requirements for this series. The day of rest is coming to a close and the Battle Royale that will end the Grand Magic Games is on the horizon but there is one more thing to do before the day is up, Makarov has a favor to ask of the Black Bulls. It's time to ask that favor and see what the Black Bulls have to say about it. That is all the administrative stuff though and while there are no questions to answer, there were two guest that requires a response so I will do now. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from those who enjoy my work. In addition, due to confusion after the last chapter there is a clarification that I will make after my responses regarding my upload schedule to clear any issues regarding it.
To KGBeastboy (guest), thank you for your review and no worries, I understand busy as I've got some busy times ahead myself that will delay my stories but that's until August. Glad to see you're stull enjoying my work and onto your suggestions which are good and I'll address them now. First up, Mimosa will get God Slayer Magic now that it's confirmed that Noelle is a Dragon Slayer but I will be keeping it as Plant God Slayer to be in line with what I've already established though the process will be rather different to Noelle's. Your ideas do help a lot as a base for what I have in mind which is good and as two of the three canon God Slayer Magics (fire and sky) take inspiration from actual mythological deities I will be doing the same with Mimosa's though for hers it will be Celtic and Norse due to the abundance of nature within those folklores. I've heard the smell of a Rafflesia but I actually know it as having a flower within its species (about 41 kinds apparently) that is the largest flower in the world so there is a lot of uses there and certainly in my Black RWBY Academia story the use of one will be interesting for a variety or reasons given how I've adapted Mimosa's magic into a Quirk. I am a primary Astelle shipper but I do like Mimosa as a poly partner where it is them with Asta but not each other and for now I will stick to just them though any romance will be a slow burn as there are several hurdles for all involved to overcome before it can even be addressed which will come in time. As for your cute scene, I've actually thought of something similar though more along the lines of Mimosa having a habit of eating floral arrangements and bouquets at parties and being told off by Noelle for being un-royal (as Noelle adds salt to her water) similar to Gajeel's habit of eating any metal utensils and cups. As for Sammy, who Noelle would agree does deserve to stick to Samuel, I actually hadn't thought of him as a partner for her but it's a good idea as he may not be canon but he is the only other alleged 100 exceed beyond Happy, Carla, Lector, and Frosch so it would work and given all that's around him he could be a good partner for her so I'll take it under advisement. I will change parts of his backstory of course seeing as I ignored his arc so it will be a little different and I won't do anything until after the Grand Magic Games but there are some things I want to do between the Games and Tartarus (I am skipping the anime only Eclipse arc as well) so an arc featuring Sammy joining Noelle as her exceed partner might actually work well with everything so thank you for the idea, it's stuff like this that I love from reviews as they really help me improve my story as I can't think of everything and miss things at times. To Brayden (guest), they won't, they're stuck in Earth Land for 6 years and as they arrived in x789 they won't be leaving until x795 so they will be there for any events between those years.
Upload Schedule Clarification: There's been some confusion as to when I will be updating this story so I'll clarify now what it will be. My schedule is based on when I have a chapter ready to go in all three of my Black Trio crossover stories so this one, 'Black RWBY Academia', and 'Akame ga Clover', as all were published on the same day, have the same number of chapters, and feature Black Clover as the only common franchise in them so I like to update them at the same time. Due to this and having 5 active stories, I can't always update weekly but I can fortnightly and as such that is my goal so if I do not upload one week expect the next chapter the week after. If I do upload a week after the last chapter then it's because I'm ahead of schedule and am surprising y'all. I hope that clears up any confusion regarding my upload schedule.

Chapter 30: A Favor for Fairy Tail
"You want a favor from us?" Yami asked his tone not betraying his surprise as he gestured to Makarov to the same table that the man had sat at back when they first met so Makarov did so again as Yami took a seat opposite him. "First, do you want a drink? You've come to us right before the Battle Royale so this is the least that we can do."
"I could use one but just one, well at least for now." Makarov said his tone serious and he really showed that when Vanessa brought the men mugs of beer from the bar and he did not look at her cleavage as she served him and Yami as the rest of the Black Bulls looked on in silence understanding from where they were in this room as they all understood that this was a meeting between the two leaders. "And yes I have a favor to ask of you, well more I wish to make use of something you have access to as a way to warn me in case the worst happens. Nothing more than that."
"You're going to have to start from the top then." Yami said as he took a drink of his beer. "Before I can grant you a favor I need to know why you need it, as well as what exactly you need from me. I'm not one for code or games, just ask me straight."
"Julius said you're a straightforward man, very well." Makarov said with a nod. "What I need is access to that talking bird that you have. I don't know if it is a spell or one of your members using Transformation Magic or even some kind of Beast Taming Magic as I am sure that what the bird told me the other day may or may not be the truth but I have an assignment for it in relation to a situation that Fairy Tail has ended up in which is not of our own doing, for once."
"Yes, your reputation for destruction and situational problems was as bad as ours was back home before Asta joined." Yami said maintaining eye contact with the old man and not looking towards Nero seeing as she was the one who'd been requested while Makarov took a pull of the beer served him. "Only we were noticeably punished for causing more harm than good, you lot were the top Guild despite it."
"We got our jobs done though we usually lost most, if not all, of the money for them because of the destruction." Makarov said. "And don't get me started on the apology letters that I've had to write over the years for the destruction my Guild has caused. Still, this time we didn't cause it though it pertains to one of our members, she's been arrested."
"For cause or not?" Yami asked simply which showed Makarov that the man was willing to hear him out and not dismiss Makarov right away given the nature of what was going on. "We know all about false arrests, scapegoating, and trumped up charges by corrupt nobles, that's why we're in Earth Land to begin with after all."
"Hard to say if it is warranted or not though I'm leaning on not given who it is." Makarov admitted and he knew he'd come to the right person about this as he recalled the story Yami had told about why the Black Bulls were here so they did understand his current plight better than most. "But as a sign of trust I'll tell you all that I know. This cannot leave this tavern, naturally."
"You come in to my establishment and ask for a favor, you'd better trust us with this story." Yami said. "But we're trusting you with our secret so you can trust us with this and I swear on our honor that nothing leaves the walls of this tavern. So spill it old man, what happened to your member starting with who it is."
"The member is Lucy Heartfilia." Makarov said. "I see all in my Guild as my children, well Julius was a brother to me as we were roughly the same age when we met and I wasn't the Guild Master then but you get the point, Fairy Tail is family and family looks out for each other."
"Yeah I get it, we're the same." Yami said. "We stick together and stand up for our own."
The Black Bulls nodded at that. They all had something in their past that made them misfits of sorts no matter their social status but together they were a cohesive and happy group who'd grown closer over time, it just took a loudmouthed magicless brat to show them that they were strong in their own rights.
Naturally both Noelle and Mimosa, the letter of whom really did feel like she was part of the Squad now after more than two years with the Black Bulls, weren't comfortable with the idea of being seen as Asta's sister. However, given the situation they didn't say anything about it, or in Noelle's case freak out as she went into denial mode.
"I thought as much, Julius told me that when he gave you and William Vangeance your own Squads that yours was a place for those without homes to belong and I really see a lot of what we do in Fairy Tail in the Black Bulls." Makarov said as he took another drink. "It makes us great rivals for this and why I know you understand that I need to rescue my child from the Palace where she's currently being detained, subtly of course."
"Yeah I'd suggest that." Yami said as he too took another drink. "We would probably just take our base and break into the Palace with it thanks to the member who owns it and then threaten all in our path. If Asta had been arrested like we'd expected before Julius made the deal that allowed us to avoid that we'd have burst into the Magic Parliament like that."
"Normally I'd agree with that plan but right now we can't afford to do what we'd normally do." Makarov said. "Lucy has been taken by the Minister of Defense and his forces who are trying to stop a rival faction within the Palace from using Celestial Spirit Magic to open some gate and stop Zeref. Honestly, I'm a little hazy on the details as Natsu was more incensed than normal about the situation so wasn't being clear about it other than that we had to rescue Lucy and wanted to storm the Palace right away to do so even if he had to do it alone. We had to actually tie him up to prevent that."
"He's that pink haired guy right, the one who won against Sabertooth in the end." Yami said. "The Fire Dragon Slayer, right?"
"Yes, his raw talent is immense and he makes us all better with his spirit." Makarov said which all the Black Bulls could relate to given how Asta had made them all better since he joined the Squad. "After he accidently got separated from Natsu during that match, Gajeel found some dragon graveyard and led Natsu and Wendy there with Gray and Lucy accompanying them, same for Happy, Carla and Lily but those three were to be expected as they're the exceed partners to our Dragon Slayers. One thing led to another down there and they learned of a plan to kill Zeref that needed Lucy's help but before they could persuade her to join Yukino…"
"Yukino?" Yami asked. "Also who's this Zeref character you've mentioned a bit."
"He's a Dark Wizard so evil and…" Makarov began before getting a glower from Yami and gulping. "Right, your attribute is Dark, isn't it."
"It is." Yami said. "So to me dark wizard, or Dark Mage as we'd call it, has a different meaning. In fact I've faced an evil mage who used Light Magic so where I'm from we don't use that term for bad mages. I get the Dark Guild stuff but as a Dark Mage myself I advise sticking to evil."
"That must have been an odd reversal of what the stories say." Makarov said before shaking his head and getting back on topic. "Zeref is an evil wizard from 400 years ago with a lot of strange legends around him and various evil spells and creations he's made, I no doubt mentioned him the last time we met as his legend is persistent in our world. The Dark Guilds here tend to venerate or try to revive him in some way but it is hard to separate myth from fact with Zeref."
"Very well, I'm sure that you mentioned him before, I just forgot." Yami said. "Unless this dude comes back while we're here I don't really care about the myths and legends about him so it no doubt slipped my mind. Basically it seems like some believe he's still around and a threat so they hatched a plan to beat him but another group didn't agree and stopped it and because this plan requires the magic that Lucy girl, if I recall she's the blonde one that Noelle knocked out of the water the other day, uses she got detained as part of an attempt to prevent it. Am I in the ballpark?"
"In general terms that appears to be the case and you recalled correctly, your Miss Silva saved her and we are grateful for that." Makarov said turning and bowing his head to Noelle where she sat at one of the other tables with Asta, Mimosa, and Nero as that was where they'd been when Makarov entered. "Thank you miss, I fear that given the animosity between us and Sabertooth, especially because it was Natsu who attacked them and Lucy is dear to him, that Lucy would have suffered had you not been there."
"It's what a Magic Knight does and that Sabertooth woman was abusing her power, I couldn't let it stand." Noelle said. "I only did what was right but I am glad I could help prevent any harm. Plus it led to my magic evolving to match this world's in some way so I can't complain."
"Right, you're now a Dragon Slayer." Makarov said and Noelle nodded. "Fascinating that that has happened but for another time."
"Yes back to the topic at hand." Yami said. "Lucy and this Yukino girl, I presume she uses the same magic as your Guild member does."
"Yes she's the other known Celestial Spirit Wizard right now and possesses the two gold Zodiac Keys that Lucy doesn't have so between them they have all 12." Makarov said. "She fought in a match on the second day against Kagura of Mermaid Heel and lost despite using her two Zodiac Spirits and the special 13th that she has."
"Right, the snake that got cut down but what looked like zetten." Yami said which Makarov didn't understand. "Er, the sheathed katana girl from that all-girl Guild."
"Correct and for her loss the brute who leads Sabertooth, and made it the top Guild in our absence, kicked her out for losing as he hates weakness." Makarov said with anger in his voice and those in the Black Bulls who didn't know showed their disapproval on their faces as they too didn't agree with that. "Yes, it was within his rights but no decent Guild Master would do that. It led Natsu to attack them, a possible violation of the treaty regarding inter-Guild relations, until he was stopped by Minerva kidnapping Happy. It was a mess that helped further sour our relations and no doubt let Minerva to want to exact her own punishment on Lucy."
"I see, that is something only the former boneless ham of the Purple Orcas would do in our world." Yami said which Makarov didn't understand but chose not to address. "Very well, that explains who Yukino is. You said Lucy and her were taken, right?"
"Yes they were taken and detained to stop them from using their magic as part of this plan, before Lucy could agree mind you." Makarov said. "They are in essence hostages. Afterwards they let Natsu, Gajeel, Gray, Wendy, and the three exceeds go, which given that three of our team were there makes sense as they don't want to cause a seen when we fielded a very different team in the Battle Royale."
"I see so it seems like there is some stupid power struggle going on and your Guild member got caught up in the middle of it due to her rare magic, got it." Yami said as he took a drag on his cigarette. "And now you are going to rescue her."
"Correct, I'm sending a team of six, three humans and our three exceeds, in during the Battle Royale tomorrow to rescue the girls." Makarov said not revealing that Natsu would be one of them to keep that tactical advantage from Yami. "It's the best way to do so and draws as little attention as possible."
"I see and this is where you want the bird." Yami said as Makarov finished his drink.
"I do." Makarov replied setting his mug down.
"Why?" Yami said. "I won't say much about the bird, it is a valuable member of my Guild be it a member, familiar, or spell, so I can't just lend it out without a reason especially for a mess that has nothing to do with us and would be in our best interests not to get involved in given the implications of what would happen if you're caught doing this. We're here as punishment from our world, I'd rather make the most of our 4 remaining years, climb to the top which we'll achieve tomorrow, and get stinking rich before going back and making even more money with what we bring with us that we don't have in the Clover Kingdom."
"I get that and I am not asking for you to get involved with this, any rescuing, risk and fighting against agents of the King will be on us and us alone." Makarov said. "This is our mess to clean up and clean it up we will, I assure you. I just remember that bird from Laxus's fight, it's highly talented and I'm sure it could evade any notice hence why I'm asking for its aid in one aspect of this mission."
"You don't know the half of what it can do." Yami said never once looking to Nero as he spoke while she remained neutral herself but internally smiling a little at the praise and as she had to keep her upper hand with her bird form had no issue being referred to as an it as giving away her gender would make it easier to figure out who it was, or accidently pin it on Grey given her Transformation Magic as Nero may have revealed a little too much to Makarov during that fight and Nero didn't want that. "Our bird won't be detected at all."
"And that's what I need it for." Makarov said. "I want it to go with the team to observe the mission and then report back to me either if the rescue has worked and Lucy and Yukino are in a safe place, or if the worst has happened and we have to deal with the fallout. Either way I can't do anything because I'll be in our suite in the colosseum and trusting my children to pull this off, in fact all but the teams in the Battle Royale or rescuing Lucy and Yukino will be, but having that reassurance or at least knowledge will help. That is my favor, will you lend me the bird you have?"
Yami didn't respond right away to Makarov as he took deep drag on his cigarette and then finished the rest of his beer as he thought on what the older man had said. In truth there was only one answer that Yami could give the man, he was just pausing to build the situation as his Squad waited patiently to hear what he had to say though he was sure that most of them had figured out what it would be already.
"I will speak to the bird." Yami said after what he deemed to be a suitably long pause. "If it is going to help you then that is something that it must decide on its own, that is what makes the bird so useful and special to us. Is that agreeable with you?"
"It is." Makarov said understanding what Yami was saying regarding the favor he was asking. "If the bird agrees then we will owe it and the Black Bulls for allowing me at least some notice about what is going on so I'm not overly worried the entire time."
"That you will." Yami said with another drag of his cigarette. "Very well, after you leave I will discuss this with the bird. If it agrees, it will go to your tavern before the sun rises and tag along with your team when it leaves. You say that the exceeds are on this rescue team, those are the flying cats right?"
"They are." Makarov said with a nod.
"Then they will be what the bird looks and uses to keep an eye on your team for should it agree." Yami said. "You will only know if it has helped if the bird has to report in to you. That adds an extra layer of security to this."
"I can see the reasoning there and accept it." Makarov said as his tension lessoned a little, it wasn't what he'd really wanted but it was the best that he could have realistically hoped for. "Thank you for this Captain Yami."
"Julius spoke highly of you before we left and his word carries a lot of weight with us." Yami said as several of the Black Bulls nodded in agreement at that. "Now, how about one more drink for the road. A happier one as this has been a heavy chat for you, so you could use it from the, to use your word, Guild that will beat you tomorrow and take the top spot in Fiore by the time the Battle Royale is over."
"I'll drink to that little challenge." Makarov said with a smile as the tension fully lessoned from him and Vanessa got another bottle of beer that she brought over and poured first for Yami and then Makarov who this time didn't hide his ogling of her impressive assets, they rivaled if not exceeded even the best in Fairy Tail so he couldn't help himself. "But I assure you, we will be the ones who win that 30 million jewel prize money and claim the top spot as Fiore's number 1 Guild once again."
"Then let us drink to this challenge." Yami said as he raised his mug and Makarov did the same so that they clinked. "May the best team, aka ours, win."
"It your dreams." Makarov said as they drank deeply before slamming the mugs down in a sign of comradery. "But regardless, when this is over your whole Squad should come by our Guild Hall in Magnolia and not the ratty one we have right now, our old one that we will use our winnings to buy back and restore to glory."
"We accept, a free party is always good and as useful as our hideout is, it's not really designed for the size of your Guild." Yami said. "So it is better to start our fostering of bonds at your place than ours, less cleanup for us as well."
"Julius would want this from us and I am sure that he will have an update for you regarding what is going on back in the Clover Kingdom." Makarov said. "I've just not asked given the Games and how our communication works given the time distortion between our worlds."
"Yeah I don't want to bother him while we're away as he is busy dealing with his duties, getting Asta off, and being stuck as a kid again." Yami said. "But if he does have anything for us that he believes relevant we'll listen to what he has to say when the Games are over. We can have a long chat about it while our members mingle and foster bonds. I'm sure there is a lot they can learn from us and vice versa."
"I couldn't agree more." Makarov said as he finished his second drink before holding out his hand to Yami. "To a future friendship between our Guilds and worlds forged because of your Wizard King and my brother Julius."
"To friendship." Yami said as he finished his drink and the men shook which was the excuse the Black Bulls needed to break their silence and cheer or at least smile at the sight. "Hey, don't get to riled up you lot we've still got to win tomorrow."
"Yes Captain." The Squad said in unison and snapping back to seriousness as the men ended their shake.
"Well then, tomorrow we are rivals." Makarov said. "My children will meet yours on the battlefield."
"I'm not as old as you, so I'm more the strange uncle to this lot than a father." Yami said as the men laughed. "But yes, tomorrow we will meet on the field of battle. I am sure that the clashes will be epic and told for years to come as Fiore gets a new number 1 Guild."
"They will be, I'm sure of it, and on that note I must take my leave." Makarov said hopping off the bench he was on. "We must be fully ready for everything, as should you."
"Agreed." Yami said and Makarov nodded before he headed to the door without another word.
Yami didn't say anything either as Makarov left and headed back to his own tavern, the door closing behind him. After it was closed, Yami still waited as he sensed the man's ki until it was out of his sensing range and even then he waited a few more minutes before he looked around.
"Asta, Luck, Noelle, you three have the best senses be it ki, mana, or smell." Yami said though he was sure that he was better than Asta at ki but this would be great training for him regardless. "Is he out of your ranges?"
"I can't sense him anymore." Asta said. "Not in a city this big and without knowing him long enough to have a good read on his ki signature."
"I can feel his magic but it's at the edge of my range." Luck said before adding. "And now it's past that edge so unless he can hide his mana he's a good distance away now."
"I can't smell him but I still need to practice this whole enhanced smell thing to figure out everyone's individual scent." Noelle said as right now there was only one scent she could reliably pick out and while it comforted her she was also a little rattled because it was Asta's and her denial was kicking in. "It's only really strong ones that I get at the moment but I'll improve."
"See that you do, your changes are useful so use the time here where you have access to established Dragon Slayers to improve them for when we return." Yami said and Noelle nodded at that. "But good, he's far enough away to talk openly. Nero, your thoughts."
"I'll do it, Captain." Nero said, she'd already made her mind up that she would she was just waiting for Yami to ask her. "We need to have a good relationship with them going forward and doing them a favor like this is a win, win, for us."
"How so?" Yami asked.
"We can see how they operate on a subtler scale, learn more about the Palace as I've not had time to set up nests there, and gain favor with the only Guild here that can truly challenge us should something bad happen." Nero said. "They took in the Wizard King and made him feel welcome, it is fitting that we ally ourselves with them as well and this will help in that endeavor. Together we'll be a strong partnership."
"I agree, Makarov knows the truth of us and Julius vouched for him so we were always going to get to know him once we learned what happened to him and the others who were on that island." Yami said. "And now that they're back and we've seen their strength, one we can match of course but it will be tough against them tomorrow so a great time to push past your limits, it is a good idea to ally with them should something happen while we're here. I'm sure they'll need our help for something more substantive in time and having theirs in return is good."
"Meeting their Guild will help there." Finral said. "We've met a few of them and they seem decent enough, a bit like we are in fact, so while things may get destructive but we should get on just fine. Plus they have a lot of lovely ladies in their Guild to…wait not you've only got eyes for Lady Finnes, bad Finral stop thinking of all the lovely ladies of Fairy Tail in their swimsuits."
"Get your head out of the gutter." Noelle said. "Insect."
"They're strong, I can't wait to fight them tomorrow and in the future." Luck said with a grin. "So I second good relations with them as that way I can fight them all."
"And that redhead who might be passable as Rebecca's sister as I recently realized that they have the same family name really knows her swords." Asta said with a grin. "I've already learned a lot from what I saw in that castle and tomorrow I'm sure I'll learn more when we duel."
"Of all the Fairy Tail members, Erza is the one that I think is the toughest for us to face and if it comes to it she should be left to Asta to handle." Nero said. "But I made my points during the strategy session, the team is ready for this and I hope to return tomorrow before the end to watch what is going on regardless of whether or not Fairy Tail pull off their rescue mission."
"See to it that you do." Yami said. "But you should be off so that you're in place to keep an eye on them. In fact, everyone head to bed and be rested for tomorrow be it the team or those supporting them as we all need to be ready for when we become the top Guild in all of Fiore."
"Yes Captain." The Squad said as they all saluted to which Yami nodded.
At that they left be it to bed, sort something out if they needed to do so before bed, or in Nero's case turning into a bird and flying to a window that Noelle opened for her so that she could fly out and head to the tavern where Fairy Tail was staying. She had her mission; the others had their own roles and within 24 hours they were certain that the Black Bulls would be the number 1 Guild in Fiore.
That was the goal and Yami fully intended to see to it and knew that the knuckleheads on the team could manage it. That was the thoughts he had as he went to take a dump before bed certain that tomorrow would be a good day for them even with what Fairy Tail was dealing with. After all, how bad could it all be?
Princess Hisui looked out the open window at the moon from her suite in the Palace unable to sleep and worry etched on her face not that any could see her right now. She'd just seen off the man from the future as they made the final plans for after the Battle Royale tomorrow and he made it clear that his prediction would be wrong because of the Black Bulls just as his others had and why that was the case to further reassure her that they were doing the right thing before he left.
By this point Hisui was more than certain that the people from another world had caused the mess up with the man's predictions about the Games which meant that the coming of the Dragons was still going to happen and the need for the Eclipse Project was still on track. That was something that couldn't be changed, the man from the future was proof of that and while she'd hoped he was wrong with how the Black Bulls appeared to show that his predictions were wrong, he'd dashed that hope by being right about them.
Now all she had to save Fiore from destruction was the plan that they'd come up with thanks to the man from the future and his knowledge. Yes, there had been an incident recently but she was sure that things would work out on that front and when they did she'd personally take charge and reveal the real mission that not even Arcadios was privy to. Only she and the man from the future knew what else the gate could be used for and soon they'd need to make use of that feature.
Hisui let out a sigh as she looked out the window knowing that sleep would be elusive tonight despite her need for it. Tomorrow the Grand Magic Games came to an end and she'd enjoy the Battle Royale especially now that she didn't know how it would end because of how the Black Bulls had changed things by coming to their world.
To add to it all they were the Guild in the lead so she hoped that they'd put on a good show against Fairy Tail as the two Guilds would no doubt clash for the title of best in Fiore. She was sure that one of them would come out on top and be crowned Fiore's number 1 Guild and thanks to her own plans there would still be a Fiore to be the number 1 Guild in after tomorrow.
With a final sigh, Hisui turned from the window and retired for the night to try and sleep as it might be her last night in her bed given what might happen. Well, she had a plan and she was going to do all she could to prevent that and preserve her kingdom from the destruction that was coming for it.
Alas, she wasn't aware of the true intentions of the man from the future had. As such, as Hisui fell into a fitful sleep she didn't know how she'd played into his plans even with the Black Bulls almost stopping them and what that would mean for Crocus when the Grand Magic Games ended and the true plan for the Eclipse Gate was revealed.
Well there is the second of the two break chapters before the Battle Royale and now we know what that favor was, Makarov wanted a warning system and knew the Black Bulls could help. This is the extent to which the Black Bulls will be involved in the rescue operations and will amount to one, brief, scene when the right time comes. Everything else that happens regarding Lucy's rescue will follow canon and will not be addressed in this story. Course I had to end on a final moment for Hisui as she gears up for what is to come as well even if she is unaware of the true intentions of Future Rogue so this will also be the last time we see her before the Grand Magic Games ends. Other than that, the only thing to say is that while I am going to strive to get the next chapter out in a fortnight's time, I alas cannot promise that due to various IRL commitments that will prevent me from working on any of my stories for at least a week so instead I'm going to aim for getting the next chapter out in 3 weeks' time. I will of course try to get everything done in 2 weeks but to ensure that quality is preserved and I don't tax myself I'm not going to set that as a goal. This summer is busy for me and there is likely to be another break of 3-4 weeks coming up soon but such is life. Anyway, that is all that I have for this chapter so I will leave this rambling off here.
