Here is the thirty-fourth chapter in this story released in accordance with the release schedule. The battle in the cavern near Nean has ended and now it is time to recover from that and for the Black Bulls that kind of recovery means one thing, food. First in Nean for a few, along with some light drama, and then back at the hideout. A much needed breather for them, after all it's not like something's about to happen that will send the whole squad on a mission or something like that. That is all that I have for the administrative stuff I have for y'all and there are no guest reviews that need a response, though I thank you for your support of my work, or questions to answer so I will end this here. Chapter 34: Summons

"Ah that's just what I need." Asta said with a sigh of contentment as he finished off a bowl of the food that Rebecca had prepared and move onto the next in the massive spread that was before him, Noelle, Akame, and Tatsumi. "But I'm not done yet!"

"I'm so glad that you like it Asta." Rebecca said flushing a little at his reaction to her cooking, she knew that he liked it from the other day but it was still good to hear. "I figured that you and your squadmate would wake up hungry so I wanted to have plenty of food for you to enjoy and replenish your energy. It's the least I could do after what the Black Bulls did for us, especially you, Asta. I was worried I made to much when your friend, especially brought all those dead animals in but, er, your squadmate is rather…um…well I've never seen a girl put away that much meat. I wasn't expecting her appetite at all."

"You don't know our other squadmate Charmy." Tatsumi said with a chuckle while Akame ignored everything as she chowed down on an immoral amount of meat, well immoral for anyone but her or Charmy. "I thought that no one could beat Akame when it came to meat but then I met Charmy, she takes it to a level even Akame can't reach."

"I'll reach her one day don't worry about that." Akame said as she finished off a massive plate that she'd lifted up and just eaten off as she tipped it back and moved to another one that was piled just as high. "I need to get my strength back before then and this is really helping."

Akame wasn't wrong about that, of all the Black Bulls who'd participated in the rescue mission she'd ended up with the most injuries. That was because during the fighting she'd taken several wounds both from the leader of the Eye of the Midnight Sun, a Light Mage called Licht, and her own sister when Kurome showed up with Seryu revealing that they too had been reborn.

She had actually won both fights, though in the case of her fight against Licht that was because he'd underestimate her, and almost killed Kurome again if not for Asta's intervention staying her hand. After that she'd stayed conscious to the end of the confrontation, which had the added benefit of being able to lend Murasame to her Captain when his katana was broken. However, as soon as their enemies fled following a near disaster after a final attack on Licht by Asta and Yami, the adrenaline that had been keeping Akame going wore off and she passed out from exhaustion and blood loss due to her wounds.

Asta too had passed out from the wounds he'd taken so Tatsumi carried Akame back to Nean while Gauche dragged Asta and they were cleaned up and fully healed so that neither had any scars from the encounter. Thankfully a trio of Golden Dawn members who knew Asta and Noelle, hard not to when one was Asta's adoptive brother and the other Noelle's cousin, showed up having come to help but been too late to partake in the fight. They were still more than useful as Noelle's cousin, a Plant Mage called Mimosa, was a gifted healer who was able to patch Asta and Akame up without an issue.

It still was a lot of damage and pair slept for a whole day only waking up almost 24 hours after the fact with Asta waking first and being hugged by Mimosa, much to Noelle's chagrin, before the Golden Dawn trio left after giving Akame a final checkup when she too woke. While this was happening Asta said goodbye to Sister Theresa.

Even though Akame had been fully healed, Tatsumi helped bandage her up just to be safe while her body adjusted to the last of the healing. Her wounds wouldn't scar but she still needed to be careful so Mimosa had provided bandages and instructions that Akame not engage in strenuous activities for at least 24 hours. In addition, Akame's top was so battle cut up that it wasn't salvageable though she still had her skirt.

Therefore, and because of the wounds, Akame wasn't wearing a top or bra but rather had her entire torse wrapped in clean white bandages, the same for her arms from wrists to shoulders. She'd put her Magic Knight robe over the top for good measure and she had bandages on her neck, cheek, and thighs as well but otherwise she was fine, just needed a little more rest and energy.

Thankfully that energy was provided by Rebecca as a thank you to the Black Bulls who remained. Of course a lot of food would be needed so Tatsumi had spent the day that Akame and Asta were being healed getting the needed meat for them, as well as a little extra for Rebecca's stores as a thank you for looking out for Asta and keeping Noelle company during the incident.

That was how all four of them were now chowing down, along with the bird Nero who had hung out with Noelle and Rebecca during the incident, in the deserted restaurant as they all recovered from what had happened. While Noelle hadn't been in the cave, her actions had been invaluable as she'd been the one to contact Magic Knight headquarters which had gotten first Yami and Finral to the cave followed by three other Captains to the cave just in time for when they were needed.

It had been a successful mission in that they'd saved the kids and the younger of the two criminals, the one who was still alive and who'd caused the snowfall that had started the whole thing, had turned himself in and had been sentenced to restitution in service of Nean's church for his crimes. They'd also gotten vital information on the Eye of the Midnight Sun, their top brass, and how strong their magic was, which had been passed onto the Wizard King who even now was formulating a plan that could further their intel but which needed Asta, not that Asta was aware of that just yet.

For now, though, they were recovering and eating before heading back to the hideout. It had been a successful mission indeed, albeit an unplanned one that had encountered on their day off, so they deserved a bit of a break.

"I have to say, this is really, really good." Noelle said as she enjoyed Rebecca's cooking and given Asta's reaction she realized that there might be something to being a good cook while Gauche, who was also in the room but a few tables back not eating as he glared at Asta, kept mumbling 'kill him' over and over again. "I hate to admit it but I can't deny it either."

"Big brother, come and join us." Marie said from her seat next to Asta as she looked back at him where he was sitting on his own. "Don't sulk over there."

"I still have room left." Asta said finishing off his latest bowl and starting another and doing what Akame was doing with her meat and eating it directly from the dish. "So good!"

"Mhm there's always room for meat." Akame said as she went for yet another tray of the stuff and Tatsumi just passed her a third one knowing that she'd eat it as well. "And this is some of the best meat I've had in a while, Charmy's sheep are great cooks but this is different to that. So tender."

"Maybe men do prefer women who know how to cook." Noelle muttered before realizing she had someone to confirm that for her and looked to Tatsumi. "Is that right Tatsumi? Can Akame cook?"

"Meat, sure, she's one of the best out there when it comes to any kind of dead animal." Tatsumi said as he enjoyed his food the fluctuations in Noelle's ki clear though he wasn't sure what they meant or why she'd asked the question. "But honestly, I cook better."

"That he does." Akame admitted while Rebecca continued to smile at how much Asta was enjoying her food, it was something she clearly had on Noelle and Rebecca had deduced during their time together while Asta was in the cave that Noelle loved him too which made her a rival and potentially who Asta liked so anything she could do to one up Noelle she'd take as Noelle was tough competition indeed. "And cooking is certainly one way to a man's heart. Not the only way but, er, I'm not the best person to use a test subject, nor is Tatsumi. Our relationship dynamic is different and forged through other things that most relationships don't deal with."

Noelle understood that perfectly and it at least gave her some comfort as Marco, Rebecca's brother who Asta had saved and lent his Black Bull robe to so that he'd be brave while Asta was in the cave, came up to Asta with it to return it. It was clear that Noelle couldn't compete with Rebecca in the kitchen department and she was at a disadvantage with being a royal compared to Rebecca who as a commoner was on Asta's level, but the fact that romance could bloom through other means was oddly comforting.

Of course said other means were as assassins killing corrupt people and taking down a tyrannical empire before dying so it wasn't the best comparison. Well that wasn't a comparison but Akame and Tatsumi had been in the same squad as well so that was a good sign for Noelle.

Naturally all that got to Noelle the moment her subconscious tried to suggest certain things and conscious mind quickly denied that any of that was what she wanted and she was just concerned for Asta as a friend and squadmate. His love life was none of her business at all and the fact that Asta's robe had been cleaned finally gave her a chance to push this confusion away.

"Your robe may be clean but that's a lot more than I can say for you, Dorksta." Noelle said as Asta finished his latest dish and got up to leave with Noelle before putting his robe back on while Akame still ate her meat and Nero enjoyed a plate of whatever he or she, they still weren't actually sure what gender the bird was, was eating. "It looks like you really do need me around to look after you. You'd be a mess without me."

"Huh, what are you talking about?" Asta asked as he and Rebecca didn't miss what was being said and as she had some of the other Black Bulls here she could actually confirm something that she'd suspected since she and Noelle had spent the night here waiting for news from the cave. "Even when you are around I'm a total mess."

"Er, Tatsumi, Akame, do you mind if I ask you two something." Rebecca said as Asta and Noelle devolved into their usual bickering, or more accurately Asta being confused and Noelle's insecurities and denial causing her to act the way she did. "About those two."

"If your asking if they're a couple the answer is no." Akame said as she tore off a hung of meat, she was on her fourth tray by this point, and wolfed it down. "Asta's as dense as they come on that front. Honestly if I wasn't a girl in love myself and could read ki I might be as well but between being in love and knowing what it looks like in someone's ki I can tell."

"I wasn't going to ask that specifically; I figured that much out the other night and I know Asta's not dating anyone though he does have his heart set on someone." Rebecca said shaking her head. "And I can tell how Noelle feels, it's obvious, and it's clear you two are an item and I wish you all the best. At least you got your man Akame."

"It wasn't easy." Akame said. "I almost lost the chance to confess."

"Same." Tatsumi said he'd missed Akame's response because he'd been finishing his meal but caught the end of what Rebecca had just said. "We went through a lot to reach this point."

"Don't use our love story as any form of comparison, it is far from normal." Akame said as she finished her latest tray of meat. "If it wasn't that, though, what were you going to ask?"

"Just, um, Noelle is the girl who Asta fights besides, right?" Rebecca asked.

"Yes, they joined at the same time so they're the rookies and as such have been sent on missions together so naturally they fight alongside each other." Tatsumi said. "It helps and makes them close though they always have a more seasoned Black Bull looking out for them be it Magna, Luck, us, or even Gauche to an extent."

"It does help, I won't lie." Akame admitted understanding more that Tatsumi based on Rebecca's ki. "Tatsumi and I have fought alongside each other for a long time."

"I see well between that and other things I'm clearly no match for Noelle." Rebecca said but as she did she smiled and walked forward. "But I can take this much at least. Hey Asta."

"Yeah, what…" Asta said turning to Rebecca but before he could finish she reached him and gently caressed his left cheek with her hand as she planted a lingering kiss on his right cheek.

As expected Noelle let out a shriek and her mouth fell open as her eyes went white at the action. Akame just quirked an amused eyebrow at that as Tatsumi finished up his food and cleared it to help out before going to grab Gauche and if necessary drag him away and back to the hideout so he missed the visual and just assumed Noelle was being Noelle about something based on the shriek.

"If it weren't for you, I might have lost Luca and Marco and so many others here might have lost kids and siblings as well." Rebecca said smiling as she pulled away from the kiss. "So thank you for all your help."

"Er, yeah, sure, no problem it's what Magic Knights do." Asta said turning to Rebecca and touched where she'd kissed him blushing and with stars in his eyes though his heart still remained loyal to Sister Lily. "Just glad I could help when you needed it."

"What did she just…" Noelle said as she freaked out over it, the denial she had preventing her from understanding her reaction but she still couldn't control it. "No!"

"Well this is amusing." Akame said as she finished off the last of the meat on the table though she was still hungry and got up to make sure that Noelle got herself under control before there was a massive amount of uncontrollable water. "But we really should go. Thank you Rebecca for all the food, it was delicious."

"My pleasure, it was the least I could do after all the help you did for us." Rebecca said with a bow to Akame. "Please, come back anytime but, er, given your appetite could you perhaps bring some meat with you as our stores are limited and you'd eat then clean."

"So long as your cooking I'll hunt and bring the most succulent meat around, stuff you can sell to others for a good price if I don't finish it myself." Akame said with a small smile as Tatsumi finally dragged Gauche away though Rebecca kissing Asta helped a little as it showed Marie that there were other girls for Asta so she didn't have to marry him when she grew up. "Trust me, I can get the best out there."

"I don't doubt it." Rebecca said. "And I'll be around here most of the time, or in Kikka if I need to get things from that castle town, but you lot should get back to your duties. The kingdom needs protecting and knowing you're out there brings comfort to me and likely the rest of Nean."

"That it does." Tatsumi said though he hid his surprise at the last part as the Black Bulls had never been known for bringing comfort to people but then again with Asta things seemed to be changing for them. "Come on, lets go. I'll make sure we all get back to the hideout. Akame, you can still fly right?"

"Yeah I can." Akame said with a nod. "I'll leave those who can't to you."

"Sounds good." Tatsumi said. "Asta, Noelle, come on, it's going to take a while to get back given my magic is still not fully recovered so the sooner we leave the better."

"Alright, thank you Rebecca." Asta said. "See you soon."

"See you, Asta." Rebecca said with a flush as a still shocked Noelle tried to process things and the way Rebecca had bid Asta farewell hadn't helped in the slightest.

With that they left, Akame gently taking Noelle's arm and leading her out as well. It was time to get back to the hideout and see what was next for them though what was next was something none of them would have expected at all.

"I hope you lot are done digesting the meal you had in Nean." Magna said as they all entered the hideout having returned from Nean as dusk was falling to find that the bar in the common area was piled high with, well, Akame and Tatsumi weren't sure what they were looking at as they looked like large pastries or pies that had been prepared by Charmy's Sheep Cooks but they certainly didn't smell like bread though Tatsumi thought there was something slightly familiar to the scent. "You're going to need room for this."

"Yes sir." Asta said seriously.

"Er what's this?" Tatsumi asked as Asta took a seat at the table next to Charmy while the others just stared at the heavily ladened bar. "Gotta admit I wasn't expecting anything when we got back. Well nothing out of the ordinary that is and while copious amounts of food is ordinary for Charmy, it's not for the rest of us."

"We're celebrating Asta and Akame's recovery, along with our success in Nean, with a little event." Magna said with a grin. "The Black Bulls' traditional eating Contest."

"Isn't that basically an average night between Akame and Charmy?" Tatsumi asked. "Because it usually feels like that when those two sit down at the table."

"True, Charmy and I do have healthy appetites for meat and enjoy seeing who can eat more whenever the opportunity arises." Akame said. "Though so she is still better than me at eating. If this is a meat feast though I'm so down. Are they meat pies? If so which or is it a mystery?"

"Why do I feel like you'd actually relish mystery meat." Magna said with a sigh. "At least Charmy has some level of balance in her diet, you're basically all meat."

"Sometimes you don't really know what you've killed and have to eat." Akame said with a shrug. "So there's always some mystery if it's a first time dish. Plus, providing that it's not human or some other animal that isn't eaten like dog or cat, then I'm always game for meat. Oh is it game? If so is it winged, ground or big? I'll take any."

"Sometimes you disturb me on multiple levels." Magna said with a shake of his head.

"Hurry up Magna I want to start." Charmy complained. "This is a feast of my prince's local crop so I've got to enjoy it."

"Wait, doesn't Charmy like Asta's brother Yuno." Tatsumi said recalling the black haired Golden Dawn kid he'd seen a few times though only briefly met once the day before when he, Mimosa, and that fussy bespectacled noble who washed Asta showed up to help with the healing and aftermath. "Which means that he's from."

"Bingo, that's my prince." Charmy said excitedly. "So this feast is to honor him."

"Well shit then I know what these are." Tatsumi said. "Gotta admit they're cooked better than the stuff my village bought and prepared in a way I've never seen before but still, this, this won't be pleasant."

"No meat?" Akame asked the disappointment in her voice.

"Nope and this is, well, there isn't much that can be grown in the Forsaken Realm and what can be, well…" Tatsumi said before trailing off. "Let's just say that you have to prioritize heartiness and nutrition over taste. With that considered, pop-potatoes are the easiest thing to grow, at least in the area around Hage though our soil is too cold for them, that are also eatable."

"Don't you mean edible?" Akame asked a bit confused.

"No I mean eatable like you can technically eat a rock if you had to." Tatsumi said. "You can eat pop-potatoes but it takes years with them as your main source of food to be able to properly adjust to them, or have an appetite like Charmy's I guess though she's not the best person for judging what can and can't be eaten as she can eat anything. You'll see, let's get this over with."

"Tatsumi's right, this time instead of the usual meat feast that pits Akame and Charmy against each other in a nauseating display of carnivorous appetites we're going to feast on pop-potato pies." Magna said gesturing to said pies with a grin as Tatsumi took a seat next to Asta. "Charmy's Sheep have prepared them for us so we're going to enjoy them."

"Right!" Asta said.

"Is this actually a tradition we have?" Vanessa asked as she sat up on the sofa she'd been lounging on in her underwear as usual the bottle around her clinking as she did. "Normally anything involving food is just Akame and Charmy devouring more than any human should, each."

"It's not a tradition." Luck said as Akame took a seat next to Tatsumi. "Hey, now that you lot are healthy again how about we spar? I missed that big fight so I have to make up for it. Akame, Asta, Tatsumi? You down?"

"Pass my magic is still recovering and besides it's already fully adapted to yours Luck so I'm not sure what I'd get out of it unless you're down for some standard hand to hand training." Tatsumi said as Gauche walked to the table looking at a picture of Marie and mumbling about how it had only been half a day since he'd seen her but already missing her while Gordon followed him mumbling something no one could hear and Grey blew out smoke behind Gordon. "That we can do tomorrow but not a standard magical battle."

"This is an eating contest; it may not be meat but I will give it my all." Akame said. "Plus I was told by that Mimosa girl to not do anything to strenuous for a day or so. Once I'm fully recovered then sure we can spar Luck."

"I think I'll pass on this." Finral said though he was already sitting at the table. "I'd rather not end up in a food coma."

"Trust me, you won't Finral." Tatsumi said shooting down Finral's first plan to get out of the eating contest. "Only someone experienced with this stuff can eat that much of it."

"Well I'm passing too." Noelle said. "A competition like this is beneath the dignity of a royal."

"And yet this is the food that Asta's village is known for." Akame said her tone unchanged from its usual one but the challenge and subsequent taunt was clear in it. "It's what he grew up on and Charmy is doing this for her prince, seems like the kinda thing a girl would do for someone special. I bet Rebecca wouldn't hesitate to at least try some for Asta."

"Er, well, then, perhaps I can at least try some and see if it is up to a royal's palate." Noelle said Akame's words getting to her and taking a seat next to Vanessa who, despite her question, had made her way to the table regardless before she quickly clarified them even more to distance herself from what Akame had said. "But I'm not going to compete, just eat with the Squad as a good member should."

"And besides this competition is mandatory." Magna said. "So it's happening whether you want it to or not. Captain Yami, if you would do the honor of judging the event please start it. Thank you!"

"Alright cut the chatter and let's get started on this." Yami said as getting their attention and clearly at least sanctioning the contest for whatever reason though he wasn't going to partake, the last time he'd had pot-potato he was on the toilet for longer than normal. "Ready. Eat!"

At that Grey banged a gong that no one realized was there and the competition began. Instantly Asta was enjoying himself and claiming it was so yummy as he wolfed down slices of the pop-potato pie as Charmy are whole pies next to him like there was no tomorrow.

"Gah, my mouth is completely dry now." Noelle said after one bite. "What is this stuff? How can anyone eat it?"

"The kind of grub you get in the Forsaken Realm where you have to eke out a living." Tatsumi said eating steadily just about able to handle the affects as he'd actually eaten worse growing up though he'd need water soon enough. "Good thing for a royal to learn what the commoners and peasants have to deal with."

"If there was meat in it, it would be more palatable." Akame said eating faster than Tatsumi but not as fast as normal as it wasn't meat so she didn't fully enjoy it while Luck suddenly got full without taking a bite. "But as is, it's not great."

"Why am I full?" Luck asked confused as he tapped out of the contest.

"Finral I see what you're doing." Yami said as Noelle failed to process what Tatsumi had said to her due to the dryness in her mouth. "Stop using your Spatial Magic to send food into Luck's stomach."

"Ah, guess I'm busted." Finral said sheepishly rubbing the back of his head as he smiled awkwardly. "See, I'm not that hungry but if there were a pretty woman to feed me then maybe I…"

"Here, eat and suffer like the rest of us." Akame said grabbing a pot-potato pie and shoving the end of it into Finral's open mouth as he spoke causing him to gag and fall off his chair where he hit the floor and continued to gag and cough. "What, you asked and I delivered?"

"Probably not what he wanted but he's out." Yami said. "As are you Akame for giving into his annoying demand though that was amusing."

"Fine by me." Akame said as Magna used his Flame Magic to cook the pile before him so that it was well done and turned it charged in the process. "Can I have some meat now? I need to get some taste back in my mouth after that. Next time put meat into the pies."

"Damn, thought it would taste better with some heat but that was too much." Magna said as he collapsed to the floor after trying to eat what he'd cooked. "Urgh, this sucks."

"You're out Magna." Yami said as Magna groaned on the floor next to a coughing Finral.

"Well I'm nowhere near done, I can do this for days." Asta said as he bit into another pie only for Gordon's head to appear in the pile and say hi to him. "Ah! Gordon, don't sneak up on people while they're eating! You could make me choke."

"That's creepy Gordon, you're out." Yami said as Gordon tried to reassure Asta that that wasn't his intention before turning to Grey and Gauche both of whom weren't eating and Gauche was being his usual creepy self about his sister. "Same for you Gauche plus you're not eating so you're out. Grey as well in fact."

"Just a little water and I could…" Noelle gasped out as she reached for a cup on the table but knocked it over and collapsed onto the table gasping having been vanquished by a single bite while Vanessa just vomited on the floor before even managing to eat anything.

"And those two are out as well, been out for a while I guess." Yami noted. "That just leaves…Asta, Charmy, and Tatsumi going at it though Tatsumi is a ways behind the other two."

"This is more pride." Tatsumi said as Magna noted the showdown. "But I'm not as fast as those two and near the end of what I can handle. This is something you can only manage if you're from Hage or are an anomaly like Charmy."

"Fair point, you won't catch up so you're out." Yami said and Tatsumi sighed glad to not continue and grabbing a nearby jug of water that he chugged straight from the jug. "So just these two left."

"It's Asta v. Charmy in a massive showdown!" Magna said. "Who will win!"

Those who could watch did as Charmy and Asta continued to chow down on the pop-potatoes with a disturbing amount of gusto. Asta even vowed to win it without magic as he raised the dish of pot-potato pies and ate as much as he could in a similar fashion to how Akame had eaten the meat before.

Alas for Asta he failed in that and without magic Charmy easily beat him before calmly sipping some tea as Asta lay bloated on the ground and complained about how not using magic was his whole identity. No one else who saw this was surprised, however, though at least they'd had the time to recover from it and drink the copious amounts of water that were needed after eating pop-potatoes thanks to how long Asta and Charmy went at it.

It had been a fun contest at least and a good celebration of their return from Nean after being patched up, though Akame would have preferred it to be with meat, and a good end to the day. Well, it would have been but as Asta complained on the ground a small spatial portal opened and a bird flew through it with a letter that it dropped to Yami before flying off and through another portal. That got everyone's attention especially when they saw the crest in the wax seal on the letter.

"That's from the royal capital." Asta said getting up and looking at it as Yami opened the letter and read it. "I recognize that crest. Did something happen there? What's going on? Are we going to be involved?"

"Stop asking questions, I'm trying to read this and learn why it was sent." Yami said not looking up from the letter. "Yes it's from the Capital and you're actually requested Asta. The Wizard King himself has asked for you. I think he has something only you can help with."

"Really?" Asta asked stars in his eyes. "The Wizard King wants me there?"

"Yup, the Squad Captains are meeting tomorrow, likely due to what happened recently, and he wants me to bring you along." Yami said before looking over to Akame and Tatsumi. "Oh and he's asked for you two as well, wants you there in your other capacity so this has to be big. He also added that you are to bring your special cloaks whatever that means."

"If he wants us there like that then he must be expecting trouble." Tatsumi said getting serious. "Probably tied to why Asta's needed if I had to guess. Makes sense it's us and not Mine and Chelsea if Asta's already going. We're the best backup for him."

"It's easier this way and Dorothy isn't in the know about this stuff anyway." Yami said. "Though Julius did add one thing. He's asked you two to try and not use lethal force unless absolutely necessary. Just incapacitate."

"So whatever it is he wants the person alive." Akame said her tone just as serious as Tatsumi's. "That means that the issue is of the utmost importance and he doesn't know precisely who the target is yet. Very well, we can work with that."

"I still don't get why he wants me." Asta said. "But it's a huge honor."

"Well you're going to have to come to the Capital and learn why." Yami said lifting Asta up. "So clean up and get some rest, this is likely big. Same goes for Akame and Tatsumi."

"Sir." Akame and Tatsumi said in unison agreeing to it as Yami put Asta down.

"Good that's all, you're done for the day." Yami said.

With that the day ended and so too did the whole Nean stuff now that they were back in the hideout. That meant it was time for a nice bath, food for those not stuffed by the pot-potato eating Contest, which was everyone other than Asta as Charmy still had room left, and then bed. The next day would be a big one though none of them knew yet just how big it would be or the ramifications of what was about to happen.

A nice, short, transition chapter for y'all to enjoy after the Nean arc and a good setup for what is about to come. I'm sure y'all know what is next and the ramifications of it so it's time for that little incident only with Akame and Tatsumi now involved. There's plenty to look forward to as the story progresses but there's nothing more to add here so I will leave this chapter off now.
