Short 15: Loo Loo Land 2.0
Author Note: Place Before Helluva Boss: The New Employee Episode 20
One afternoon in the Greed Ring, the Loo Loo Land has it's grand reopening. The park has been built and the construction has been finished recently, but it also made some improvements since it got burned down. Walking towards the park are Amara, Roy, and Eda.
"It's nice of you to invite us to go with you, Aunt Eda," Roy says.
"It's no trouble. I thought it would be nice to spend some quality time with my niece and nephew. And it's been long since we went to Loo Loo Land," Eda says.
"Yeah. The last time we came here, there was a little uh, incident," Amara says, sounding skeptical.
Then mutters, "Mainly involves Blitz getting into a fight with the Robo Fizzarolli and somehow got the place caught on fire."
"Oh don't worry about what happened the last time we're here. Right now, we're all going to have a good time," Eda says.
"Right," Amara says.
Soon, the group enters the park to see the booths that sell food, souvenirs, and play games.
"So remind me why Blitz and the others can't come?" Roy asks.
"Well, Blitz doesn't want to deal with Robo Fizz again. Moxxie and Millie have already made plans, and Loona is not interested. I did ask Stolas and his family, but Stolas is busy with his royal duties, Octavia doesn't want to go back there. I'm not sure what Stella's up to. Besides, this is going to be a family trip, just the three of us," Amara says.
"That's right. So let's have a good time as a family, and not get ourselves into deep shit," Eda says.
"Right," Amara and Roy answer.
Just then, Loo Loo Land's mascot, Loo Loo appears in front of them, "Well, hey there! I'm Loo Loo! Welcome to Loo Loo Land's Grand reopening! If y'all get hurt here, just try and sue us!"
"I wonder if that's a suggestion or a threat," Amara whispers.
"Who knows," Eda says, shrugging her shoulders.
Then brings out her camera, "Wanna get a picture with Loo Loo?"
"Yeah!" Roy happily answers.
Soon, Amara and Roy are standing between Loo Loo as Eda takes the picture, "Say cheese!"
Then Eda takes the picture. After that, the three are looking around to see the rides.
"Can we go on some rides?" Roy asks.
"Yeah. I heard the ride 'The Lawsuit' is so much faster and exciting now," Amara says.
"Then let's go," Eda happily says.
With that, the three decide to go on The Lawsuit, and it's faster, frightening, and exciting. They are sitting at the front so they get a first experience of it. The three scream with excitement as some either scream with excitement or fear.
After going on The Lawsuit, they ride on the carousel, the swinging carousel, the bumper cars, along with the haunted house and other kinds of rides. After the fun from the ride, the three are having lunch.
"That was really hun," Roy says.
"Yeah. I'm glad we decided to come here. Now, what do you think we should do next?" Amara replies.
Eda turns to notice, "How about that one?"
Amara and Roy turn their heads to see what Eda is looking at a circus tent that has posters of a familiar robot and on top of the tent has flags and balloons.
"I remember we went there when you were a kid, Amara," Eda says.
Amara groans as she covers her eyes with her hat, "No. Fuckin. Way."
"I know your experiences with the robot haven't been good, but maybe you can give this one another chance," Eda says.
Amara sighs and says, "Fine. But only because I know Roy likes that show since we came here."
Reluctantly, Amara accompanies Eda and Roy inside the tent and sits down on the bleachers. And from the looks of it, it seems the show is about to start.
Suddenly, a robotic voice appears on the stage, "Hey hey hey hey hey, Implings! It's me, the Robotic Fizzarolli!"
` With that, Robo Fizzarolli comes out on stage.
The robot takes a bow while on the stage and says, "Shipped from Big Ozzie's factory to bring you a wonderful show celebrating Loo Loo Land's Grand Re-opening!"
Then turns to the stage, "Hit it!" And snaps his fingers.
With that, the lights turn on as music begins to play.
Robo Fizz:
Loo Loo Land, Loo Loo Land!
Everybody sing along with the Loo Loo band
Robo Fizz sings and dances as the curtains open to reveal the band.
Robo Fizz:
Ev'ry boy, ev'ry girl, ev'ry woman, ev'ry man
Robo Fizz moves to point to some of the audience.
Robo Fizz:
Loves Loo Loo Land!
The jester returns to the stage and stacked platforms rise up on the stage in three layers.
Robo Fizz:
Loo Loo Land, Loo Loo Land!
Everything is beautiful at Loo Loo Land
The robotic band continues to play the instruments.
Robo Fizz:
Ugly children holdin' hands
The Robot cloud then grabs a row of Imp children and pulls them into a hug.
Robo Fizz:
In Loo Loo Land!
He then spins in the air and throws the children across the area.
Robo Fizz:
Everybody's friendly,
The robotic jester hugs the robotic dinosaur.
Robo Fizz:
and nobody is mean
Then smacks the back of the two headed bear, and it sprays oil on a teenage Imp.
Robo Fizz:
No copyright infringement's ever seen
He then sprayed gasoline on a pile of copyright papers. Then throws a match of fire that bursts into flames.
Robo Fizz:
I have a dream (he has a dream)
Now he's sitting on the piano.
Robo Fizz:
I'm here to tell (he's here to tell)
He then stands up as he raises his hand.
Robo Fizz:
About a magical fantastic place called Loo Loo Land!
He then twirls his legs together and spins like a top, as the piano is actually cardboard cut out. Then slides down to perform a split as he continues to perform.
Amara groans as she covers her face under her hat and mutters, "I really hate that stupid, creepy, fuckin, robo ripoff of a jester…"
Jet Amara is staying put as she sits down at her seat. She continues to have her face covered by her hat as Eda and Roy are enjoying it.
The robot jester continues to sing and dance, "-sing along with the Loo Loo band! Ev'ry boy, ev'ry girl, ev'ry woman, ev'ry man loves Loo Loo Land!"
The show ends with some technical difficulties with the machines falling apart, and Robo Fizz is having sparks come out of his neck.
Amamra sighs and says, "Finally, that stupid song is over."
Roy says, "I actually like it."
"Good for you," Amara comments.
Eda says, "Come on kids, let's go play some games."
"Yes. Playing games sounds good by now," Amara says.
With that, the young Owl demon and two Imps leave the circus tent, unaware that Robo Fizzarolli spots them and recognizes the owl girl and the small Imp from before.
A little while later, Amara and Roy are playing a few games. They first play a water squirting game when they fill the balloon with water until they pop. Roy is the one who won. Then, there was a shooting gallery and Amara of course was able to score a few shots. She is able to win twice. Amara gives Roy a Fizzarolli stuffed toy, and Amara also wins a stuffed Loo Loo-like backpack. The group continues to play the games, sure they win and lose some games, but are having a great time. Since it's almost the end of the day, the three are getting souvenirs.
"So Roy, is there anything you like to get?" Amara asks.
Roy then picks out a Loo Loo Land cap and it has holes for the horns and a white shirt.
"Can I get these?" Roy asks.
"Sure little guy," Eda says, ruffling his head.
Roy giggles in reply.
Amara and Eda also buy a few things as well.
After that, the three walk out of the park and Amara look at the time to see that it's already evening.
"Wow. We've been in the park for very long," Amara says.
"Yeah. I think it's time to get going," Eda says.
"Yeah. We had a fun time today," Amara says.
"It was awesome," Roy says.
The group then begins to leave the park, but then the robotic clown Robo Fizzarolli quickly lands in front of them.
Then happily says, "Hey hey hey! It's me, the Robo Fizzarolli! Hope you all have a great time in Loo Loo Land!"
Amara flinches and hides behind Eda.
The robot laughs, "A-A-Awwwww, what's wrong little Owl? Are you scared of little old me?"
"I-I-I'm not sca-scared of you. And what are you even doing here?" Amara replies, trying to remain calm.
"Oh, I just happened to see you, and want to officially greet you. And curious to why you're hanging out with Blitzo," Robo Fizz says.
"First of all: the 'o' is silent so he calls himself Blitz. And second, he was my boss, and we were doing our job as bodyguards," Amara sternly says with her arms crossed.
Then mutters, "Which ended badly."
Robo Fizz glitches, "Oohoohoo! You sure are being a bit salty! Maybe Blitzo influences are rubbing off on you. Anyway, why is an owl demon such as yourself hanging out with Imps."
"Especially this little cutie," Robo Fizz says, pinching Roy's cheek.
Amara then takes Roy and holds him in her arms, "He happens to be my brother and this Imp is my aunt. And we were just leaving after having a family day. And what's wrong with that?"
"Nothing in particular, I find rather interesting that an Owl demon is hanging out with low class demons willingly," Fizz says.
"Whatever, you can think all you want, but my family and I are heading home after the fun we had together," Amara sternly says.
She then grabs Eda's hand and they both leave the park with Roy in her arms. Robo Fizzarolli laughs and leaves the scene.
Amara groans and says, "I hate that fuckin clown."
"Aw, don't let that stupid pile of metal get you down, we had a fun day and that all that matters," Eda says.
Amara sighs, "Yeah you're right."
"Now that we had fun at Loo Loo Land. Let's head back home and have some dinner," Eda says.
"Okay," The two siblings answer.
And so, the family of three leave Loo Loo Land and head back to the Pride Ring to have dinner after a fun and weird day.
