Hello everyone! Welcome back to to a new chapter of the Remake/Remastered version of the Golden Fairy!
Man this feels weird to do after stopping for almost four years, but oh well I'll try to get used to and adapt to the new forms of writing haha. Even though I stopped writing fanfics for a while, I never stopped reading other famous fics specially from RWBY, Danganronpa, Edens Zero, Fairy Tail, Dragon Ball and most recently Jujutsu Kaisen and the Persona Series specifically 5 and 3. So yeah I've still been around.
Speaking of FT it seems that it finally got the 100YQ anime that was announce back in 2022, Lets see what JC Staff are going to be cooking up.
And lastly, I saw a review that asked if Goku still has a Harem compared to the older version and the answer is yes lol. Goku is having a full on harem it's going to be building up throughout the story, along with other stuff that I'm planning.
Well, enough yapping around and let's get this chapter stared!
Fairy Tail Opening 2
Galuna Island Arc
Chapter 8: The Battle of Galuna Island
Galuna Island Ancient Ruins.. Midnight time... Kingdom of Fiore.. July 24th, X784..
Midnight has arrived as the lilac moon was shining through the island, specially in the ancient ruins where it shines brightly at Deliora's frozen body. Inside that cave was Team Natsu who were sleeping soundly despite the conditions they were at. However, their sleep was interrupted when Goku opened his eyes abruptly as he sensed multiple energy signatures coming to their direction..
"Guys wake up!" exclaimed Goku as got the attention of the mages
"What's going on..?" asked Lucy as she rubbed her eyes from the tiredness and sits up "And what is that sound?"
"Is it already midnight?" said Natsu as he gave a loud yawn along with Happy who was rubbing his eyes as well..
"Yeah and not only that.." stated the Saiyan God as he pointed on the bright lilac light that was shining directly on Deliora's frozen body "The bright light is pointing directly on Deliora's frozen body.."
"So it wasn't mere coincidence! These fools are using the Moonlight on Deliora for something..!" exclaimed the Ice-maker mage as he clenches his fist in frustration..
"Listen up everyone! We need to find out where all that lilac light is coming from! I highly doubt its doing it naturally.." stated Erza in commanding voice which caused everyone turn into a serious expression "Goku-kun, I realized that you woke up all of the sudden to get our attention. I imagine that you were able to pinpoint the culprits correct..?"
"Yeah they are not far from here, I can get us there with my Instant Transmission.." stated Goku towards the red-haired mage, and without wasting anymore time everyone from Team Natsu grabbed on to Goku and teleports away to their destination..
Scene Change... Ancient Ruins rooftop..
Team Natsu reappeared at the rooftop of the ancient ruins and quickly went into hiding behind a rock formation, a couple of meters ahead of them they could see a group of mages that were using multiple purple magic spell that was re-directing the Moonlight to a specific hole..
"Are they the one's we need to kick their asses?" asked Natsu out-loud which caused Lucy to cover his mouth
"Be quiet! Do you want the enemy to find our hiding spot?!" said Lucy in a low tone with a annoyed expression towards the Dragon Slayer..
"So I was right, they are using a magic spell to re-direct the Moonlight towards that hole which is the same one that pointing at Deliora.." said Erza with a serious expression as she came to that conclusion.. "But why do they need the Moonlight for Deliora?"
"No it can't be..!" exclaimed Gray with a shocked expression which caught the attention of the members of Team Natsu..
"What is it Gray? Do you know why they need the Moonlight?" asked Goku with a concern expression towards his student who nodded at his question..
"Do you guys remember how those guys mentioned the Moon Drip and how they need the enough Moonlight to achieve their goals.." stated the Ice-maker wizard towards the group who were following his comments "What if that magic spell is a way to transfer the Moonlight and transform it into Moon Drip.?"
"Moon Drip.." murmured Erza to herself as she stared to think why that name was staring to sound familiar until her eyes widen in realization "Now that I think about it I have heard of that name before in the Belianese encyclopedia spell! It is said that the Moon Drip can dispel any type of magic including Ancient type regardless of how strong it is!"
"Those bastards..!" murmured Gray angrily as he clenches his fist instinctively "Do they have any idea that releasing Deliora would cause imminent danger on this island!"
"Alright, I'm tired of waiting let's kick their asses!" exclaimed the Dragon Slayer as he was about to get out from his hideout until Erza elbowed him to prevent him from going out "Ouch! What the hell was that for Erza!?"
"More people are coming!" stated the red-haired wizard to everyone which forced the team to hide their presence. Ahead of them, Goku and the others saw the same people they saw hours ago in the ruins, Yuka, Sherry and Toby. However a new person was in front of them, he was wearing a type of armor that came with a large white cape, a wide collar, golden edges with fur trimmings over the shoulders. But what caught everyone's attention was his helmet that obscure its face, it took the shape of a skull with horns which added on the intimidating factor..
However what caught the Saiyan's attention was the energy signature he was feeling from the masked individual
"He seems to have an energy signature similar to Gray's.." thought Goku to himself as he narrowed his eyes which were gazing at said person "Could he be an Ice-maker user like him?"
"Damn it, being awake all day looking for those intruders is doing a number on me.." exclaimed Yuka as he rubbed his eyes from the tiredness he was staring to feel..
"Onnnnnn.." said Toby tiredly as he looked he was about to fall asleep..
"And the worst thing is that we never found them at all..!" added the spiky blue-haired mage with some frustration in his tone of voice "It would be trouble if they know how to conceal their magic signatures to that degree.."
"It was like they were never there..!" responded the cat-like man to his companion with an exaggerated expression
"This is really sad Reitei-sama! We weren't able to capture the intruders through the whole day!" exclaimed Sherry towards the masked man with a saddened expression "I can't express my love like this to you!"
"Hmm.." hummed to himself the masked man now named 'Reitei' at hearing the comments from his companions..
"So that is Reitei huh?" stated the Dragon Slayer as he was staring at 'Reitei' from his hiding spot "He doesn't look all that strong"
"I agree with Natsu on this one" said Lucy in a low-tone of voice "He gives me arrogant vibes and it doesn't help with that mask that he's wearing.."
"Really? I think that mask looks cool" added Happy to the conversation, this made the Celestial mage just sweat drop at his comment and before she could say something, the masked leader spoke up for the first time...
"How's the process in reviving Deliora?" asked the masked man neutrally towards Sherry..
"At the process we are moving along, the Demon should be awakening in 24 hours or less" responded the pink reddish haired girl to her leader who nodded at her comment
"Finally.." murmured 'Reitei' with a smile on his face "Our plan is unraveling smoothly and no need to worry about the intruders dear Sherry, I'll deal with them swiftly.."
"That voice and that energy signature..!? Could it be him?!" thought Gray as he felt sweat coming down from his forehead "But if it's really him I need to get answer out of his dammed mouth..!"
"Looking at his expression, it seems that Gray is also coming to the conclusion that the masked man has a similar energy signature as him.." thought Goku to himself as he stares at Gray for a moment until Reitei opened his mouth once again..
"I didn't want to resort to this since I hate useless bloodshed but this needs to be done to accomplish our goal. I want you guys to destroy the village of this island along with their people, every single one of them!" commanded 'Reitei' to his companions which they all nodded with a smile on their face
"Understood sir!" exclaimed Sherry
"It will be done.." added Yuka to the conversation
"Onnnnnnn!" responded Toby with his signature 'on'
"What?!" exclaimed Natsu out-loud angrily as he could perfectly hear what the leader said thanks to his enhanced hearing "He's planning to destroy the village along with civilians?!
"But the people have nothing to do with this mission!" responded Lucy with a shocked expression and then glares at the masked man with disgust "He wants to kill them for the sake of his goal.."
"There's no doubt about it, the more I hear him speak the more it reminds me of him..!" thought Gray angrily as he clenches his fist tightly "Just how low have you fallen..."
"That's it! I'm done being the spectator!" yelled the Dragon Slayer as he stood up from his hiding spot and from his mouth he stared to form a red magic circle, along with a deep breath "Fire Dragon Roar!"
From Natsu's mouth came a stream of fire of the size of his body coming right at Reitei's group which were able to notice it on time. The masked man with a smirk on his face forms a dark-blue magic circle with his right hand and creates a thick Ice Wall which covered his entire group
The collision of Natsu's attack with the Ice Wall created a small explosion that was felt through the entire ancient ruins and was followed by a thick cloud of steam..
"It seems that we found our intruders.." exclaimed 'Reitei' with a smirk "Makes it easier that they came to us instead of looking for them"
As the smoke stared to dissipate, all members of Team Natsu got out of their hiding spots and got into fighting positions ready to continue their assault on their enemy
"Stay focused guys, we don't know what type of magic they posses" exclaimed Erza with a serious tone of voice as she was holding her sword from her default armor
"Those marks.. They are from the Fairy Tail guild!" stated Sherry out-loud to her group
"I see, so the people of the island manage to hire them to solve their issue.." added Yuka to with a serious expression in his battle position "They must have enough money to even get the attention of Erza Scarlet, the strongest women of Fairy Tail.."
"No matter who they brought, Even if it's Titania herself I'll deal with them" exclaimed 'Reitei' with confidence as he got into his battle position "Don't just stand there, go ahead and destroy the village! I'll take care of them.."
"Understood" said Yuka, Toby and Sherry at the same time as they disappeared and went down to the village at top speed, it caught the attention of Team Natsu but they needed to know Reitei's reasoning before going to the village..
"Why?" asked the Dragon Slayer with a serious expression as he lights up both his hands with fire "Why are you trying to kill the civilians of this island?"
"Anyone that tries to intervene in our plans, becomes our enemy" responded the masked man neutrally towards the group..
"Do you really mean that?" asked Goku in a serious tone of voice "Those people that you're trying to kill are mere civilians who are trying to go back to be normal humans"
Before the masked man could respond back, he notice a certain Ice-maker mage towards to his direction with a disgusted expression on his face, which only made him smirk widely
"You.. Do you really think I'm going to let you release Deliora that easily?!" stated Gray angrily as he created a blue magic circle on his hands a extends both of his arms towards Reitei's direction "Ice Maker: Lance!"
Behind the Ice-maker mage, multiple Ice Lances stared to form and quickly shoot off towards Reitei's directions who smirked at the attack and responded with a similar attack like Gray's by using his right hand only. The collision of the two attacks created multiple ice pieces that dispersed through the battlefield, which made some members of Team Natsu to cover their face with their arm
"He can also use Ice-Make magic?!" exclaimed Happy with a shocked expression on his face
"I didn't want to believe it was you, but there's no denying that Ice-Maker magic... Lyon" responded Gray with a glare on his towards the masked man who just smiled at the comment and began to remove his mask which revealed his spiky white hair
"It really has been a long time Gray.." said the Ice-Maker user named Lyon in a calmly manner to his old partner "Almost a decade since I last saw you, who would of thought destiny would made us re-encounter once again but this time in a cursed island. Not only that, you also brought powerful allies with you like Titania and the mage that destroyed the 'Grim Reaper' guild by himself, I have to admit I'm impressed.."
"Cut the crap Lyon!" shouted angrily the black-haired mage towards his old partner "What are you doing here?! And why are you trying to revive Deliora!?"
"Why should I tell you when you will find out in less than 24 hours.." responded Lyon with a smile as he got into a battle position "Besides even if you try to stop me, with that level of Magic you won't be able to defeat me.."
"We'll see about that! Ice-Maker: Hammer!" shouted Gray as he created a giant Ice hammer on top of Lyon which was ready to land on him
"Ice-Maker: Shield" responded Lyon calmly as he creates a Ice shield that covers the entirety of his body and protects him from Gray's giant hammer
"He's distracted!" exclaimed Erza towards everyone except Gray who was fighting the white-haired mage "Natsu, Lucy and Happy, I need the three of you to come with me and stop the others from destroying the village! Goku-kun, can you stay here to support Gray just in case things go south? You're the only one I can trust in dealing this threat.."
"Of course Erza-chan! I was planning the same thing anyways!" responded Goku cheerfully towards the red-haired mage
"I'm glad that we are both in the same page.." said Erza with a smile as she then turns to the other members of Team Natsu "Alright everyone! Let's move out!"
"Aye!" exclaimed Happy
"R-Right!" stated Lucy somewhat nervous but determine to save the village
"Aw but I wanted to fight the main boss! The other three look like weaklings.." exclaimed Natsu in frustration but then he notice Erza's deadly expression glaring at him, which made him gulp comically "I m-mean yes ma'am!"
Without wasting more time, the rest of Team Natsu began to retreat from the battlefield so they could stop Lyon's group from destroying the village. The white-haired mage notice that were retreating and with his left hand began to form Ice pillars from the ground to freeze their tracks.. However, Goku would be able to notice this and with a quick hand motion he fires off three tennis ball-sized Ki blast towards the Ice pillars thus destroying them completely, this of course slightly surprises Lyon..
"He was able to keep up with my Ice-maker speed..? I need to be more aware of what he does since I barely have any information on him.." thought Lyon with a serious expression as he stares at the Saiyan God, however this allowed Gray to have a chance to attack him
"Don't get distracted on the battlefield! First Stance: Black Tortoise!" shouted the black-haired mage as he delivers a powerful punch towards Lyon's face, which creates a small crater below them. The impact of the fist also made the white-haired mage get pushed back a few meters..
"What a powerful punch..!" said Lyon to himself as he cleans the blood that was coming from his lips "If I take another attack like that it could case me problems down the line, I got to keep my distance and use ranged attacks that he can't keep up with.."
"Although Gray hasn't perfected the Black Tortoise, he's still able to do some damage against Lyon! and that's not mentioning that he's being nerfed by the weighted wristbands.." thought Goku with a smile on his face, proud that Gray is keeping up with the opponent despite the disadvantages he was fighting with..
"Heh! Just because you landed a good punch on me doesn't make you superior to me" exclaimed Lyon with a smirk on his face, which annoyed Gray to no end.. "Do I have to remind you back when were kids I was always besting you?"
"Stop acting like you're my superior when you're on the back foot" responded Gray with a serious expression "And besides, after what you done you're not Ur's disciple anymore.."
"The same can be said for you Gray, Ur has been dead for the last decade" said the spiky white-haired mage neutrally
"Then why are you doing this?!" shouted in anger the Ice-maker from Fairy Tail "Ur sacrificed herself to save our lives and the rest of the people of the northern continent! Are you trying to destroy her legacy?!"
"Don't be such a fool Gray.." exclaimed Lyon with disgusted expression "You're the one who killed Ur.."
"What!?" thought Goku as his eyes widen after hearing that statement from the opponent "Gray killed his master? But that doesn't make any sense! He told us that she sacrificed herself to save the town they were at by using the Iced Shell..! But if that's true then what about that small energy that I felt inside along with Deliora..?"
It seems that more context was missing from the story that he needed to get to the bottom of this..
"How can you live with such burden inside Gray..?" asked Lyon truthfully as he then stared to form a blue magic circle with his right hand "Just hearing you mentioning her name makes me feel disgusted! Ice Maker: Eagles!"
"Ice Maker: Shield!" shouted Gray as he created an Ice shield to protect himself from the oncoming hoard of Ice birds approaching at fast speeds, the collision created a cloud of cold smoke that was felt in the entire battlefield
"Impressive, you're still good at forming materials with your Ice magic.." complimented Lyon with a smile "However, don't forget that my Ice magic can mold into living things!"
With a swift movement of hands, Lyon commands one of his last Ice birds to hit Gray from a blind spot where the Ice Shield wasn't covering him. This sudden attack caused Gray to grunt in pain as he was send flying away a couple of meters, fortunately he managed to recover his footing and shouted..
"Ice Maker: Hammer!" exclaimed the Ice wizard from Fairy Tail as he creates a giant Ice hammer that appears above Lyon which he responded with his own attack
"Ice Maker: Monkey King!" stated Lyon calmly as he creates an Ice giant monkey that forms behind him and with the palm of the monkey's hand, he was able to catch Gray's Ice hammer which the collision caused a shock-wave that shook the entire ancient ruins
"At the rate that this is going Gray is going to need to remove his weighted wristbands.." thought Goku with a serious expression as he kept his arms crossed, staring at the battle unfolding in front of him "Unfortunately, he's not going to remove them since he believes this is not a true emergency, along with the fact that he's fighting against a fellow Ice magic user, he believes that he can win this with the wristbands on.."
"You're pathetic Gray..!" exclaimed the white-haired wizard in a mocking tone "You still need to use both hands to mold Ice"
"It's what Ur taught us years ago, molding Ice with one hand makes the spell incomplete.." responded back Gray with a serious face
"Then it seems I'm the exception in that regard. I can mold the Ice faster than you and I just need to use one hand for it" stated Lyon with a smirk on his face "I truly surpassed Ur in every department of Ice magic!"
"Don't be ridiculous, Ur is able to do Ice magic that would freeze entire towns and cities, truly the level of an S-Class mage and from what I've seen so far you don't even scratch that level.." responded the black-haired wizard in a mocking tone of voice..
"I wouldn't speak if I were you.." stated Lyon as he got into battle position "You were only able to land a single punch, I wonder if you can do it one more time without trying to sneak me.."
"Keh! Like I'll need to sneak you to destroy your ass!" shouted the Ice wizard from Fairy Tail as he forms a bigger magic circle than usual, followed by slamming the floor "Ice Maker: Ice Geyser!"
Spikes of Ice began to come from the ground and were going towards Lyon's directions. He knew that the attack Gray preformed was powerful on it's own right and if he didn't block it he would definitely get hurt. Fortunately, he has a way to counter that attack with a much powerful one of it's own..
"Ice Maker: Snow Dragon!" exclaimed Lyon as he forms a giant Ice Dragon and counters Gray's Ice Geyser by colliding with the attack itself, this caused a shock-wave that was felt in the entire ancient ruins followed by a cloud of cold smoke that enveloped the battlefield..
"This isn't looking good for Gray.." thought Goku with his arms crossed as he could feel Gray's magic energy greatly diminish after using that attack, and it didn't helped that Lyon still has more energy within him to continue "I might have to step in.."
"It seems that some things hasn't change at all.." stated Lyon within the cloud of smoke, as it began to disappear we could see the Snow Dragon completely untouched by the collision. Meanwhile Gray's Ice spikes were completely destroyed which shocked him "I was always the strongest student you know, able to mold Ice at a faster rate and just doing it with one arm. Even thought our path diverged all those years ago, the results are always the same.."
Without wasting time the Snow Dragon went on the offensive and attacked Gray. He tried to destroyed the Dragon by using the Black Tortoise, but his punches weren't as strong as it was earlier after using the Ice Geyser so he received the onslaught head on. By receiving these type of attacks Gray could be spotted with multiple cuts around his body, along with his forehead bleeding..
"Although your Ice-Maker magic has stagnate, you clearly have improved physically by handling the attacks of my Snow Dragon.." exclaimed Lyon neutrally as she stares at Gray who was breathing somewhat heavily
"What do you gain in reviving that Demon..?" asked the Ice mage from Fairy Tail tiredly as he was standing in one knee
"Simple, I want to surpass Ur in everything she couldn't do. One of them being destroying Deliora completely which will prove that I have completely surpassed her in every category.." explained the white-haired mage to Gray who just looks at him flabbergasted
"Are you hearing yourself?! You have no idea how strong Deliora is! if Ur couldn't defeat it then you can't destroy him.." responded Gray truthfully towards Lyon who smirked madly at his response and creates Ice spike that formed under Gray, shot up and went through in different parts of his body thus making him scream in agony
"Just hearing you mention Ur's name like you don't know what you did makes me sick!" exclaimed Lyon loudly as he creates an Ice Lance with his right hand ready to launch it "She sacrificed herself to save you from your mistake in the past! Now I'm going to correct that action by killing you!"
Lyon then launches the lance at fast speed towards Gray who had barely any energy left and it didn't help that the ice spikes were keeping him pinned. However, a certain Saiyan teleports in front of the injured Ice wizard and catches the Ice Lance with ease and destroys it with no problems. Then Goku stared to remove the Ice spikes by punching them thus liberating Gray who beginning to lose consciousness from all the blood loss
"G-Goku..?" murmured Gray lowly before falling unconscious
"You did good Gray, I'm proud of you! I'll take care of things from here on.." exclaimed Goku with a smile as he puts his hand on Gray's chest and transfers a small amount of his Ki to heal his severe injuries that he got the Ice spikes "That should stop the bleeding for now, I'll give him a Senzu bean when he wakes up"
"That guy is no ordinary mage if it was able to catch my Ice Lance at that speed.. He also was able to heal Gray's injuries, is he some sore of Hybrid mage that can heal and use offensive skills at the same time?" thought Lyon with a serious expression as he stares at the Saiyan who was staring back "That's some impressive speed and healing abilities you got there, I wonder what else the boy who defeated a dark guild by himself can do"
"Oh trust me, I can do much more than that.." responded Goku with a smirk as he stared to do his typical warm up and got into his fighting stance "I'm going to show you just how superior I am in every way..!"
Then Goku began to run at super-sonic speeds towards Lyon which surprised the white-haired wizard since he didn't expect Goku to be that fast. It didn't give him enough time to protect himself that he received a powerful punch that sends him flying to the nearest Ice pillars from his battle with Gray..
"Hes moving faster than before that I wasn't able to protect myself..!" said Lyon to himself as he stood up from where he landed "And that punch he landed on me was multiple times stronger than Gray's! If he lands two or three more I'm in serious trouble.."
"Come on don't tell me you're already giving up after I punched you once!" stated Goku with a grin as he was trying to get Lyon to use all his powers so could at least be entertained
"Far from it! Ice Maker: Eagles!" shouted the white-haired mage as he shoots off multiple Ice eagles quickly towards Saiyan who began to run at fast speeds towards his direction and began to destroy every eagle with his punches and kicks, thus leaving Lyon in shock at what he was witnessing. Goku then leaped a couple of meters into the air towards Lyon's direction so he could preform his technique, this of course made the Ice wizard nervous as he created an Ice Shield to protect himself..
"Renewal Taekwondo: Dragon Sign Hwechook!" stated Goku calmly as he gathered wind streams through his right leg and delivers a powerful kick horizontally that not only completely destroys the Ice Shield but also lands on Lyon's face. The powerful kick sends the Ice wizard flying at fast speeds and crashes into the nearest rock foundation which made him spit blood from the impact..
"Shit..! I'm staring to lose consciousness.." thought the former student of Ur as he was trying his hardest not fading out "How is he that physically strong?! My attacks are doing nothing to him! And he's not even using his magic!"
"At this rate you could never hope to defeat me.." commented the Saiyan God with his arms crossed "I'd recommend to give up and take your group out of this island if you know what's good for you..!"
"Give up...?" murmured Lyon angrily as he clench his fists tightly and then looks at Goku with fury "I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE UP MY GOAL IN SURPASSING UR'S LEGACY! NOT WHEN IT"S SO CLOSE TO BEING ACHIEVED! I'LL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE THAT GOAL A REALITY AND THAT'S BY KILLING YOU FIRST!"
"Ice Maker: Snow Dragon!" shouted the white-haired wizard as he poured all his magic to summon the Ice Dragon once again, but this time it was almost a twenty meter tall and ready to attack the Saiyan with all its might..
"It seems that you're determination in achieving your goal made you surpass your limits, I have to admit I'm impressed!" exclaimed Goku with a smile on his face as he got into a battle position that he hasn't shown in this world "And for that I'll have to respond to that determination with mine's!"
"Renewal Taekwondo: Golden Dragon Kick!" shouted the Saiyan God as he began to unleash a golden-like dragon from his right leg and began to grow in size to the point it matched Lyon's Snow Dragon which left the Ice wizard speechless..
The Saiyan God controls the Golden Dragon by making it roar loudly which made the entire battlefield tremble, then Goku follows up by kicking towards the Snow Dragon direction which made his Dragon shot towards that direction. The collision of the two dragons created a shock-wave that was felt in the entirety of Galuna Island. However the struggle only lasted a few seconds until Goku's attack completely overwhelmed Lyon's thus completely destroying his attack and leaving half of the battlefield completely unrecognizable as the dragon disappears high in the skies of Galuna Island..
Lyon just couldn't fathom these turn of events that just happened, despite his injuries he automatically began to tremble but not from anger or rage, it was from pure despair..
"Y-You..! What the hell are you! You're not a mere wizard!" shouted Lyon in fear as he slightly backs up as he saw Goku walking calmly towards his direction.. "Are you some sore of freak with overwhelming strength!?"
"No, my name is Son Goku! An S-Class wizard from Fairy Tail, future Wizard Saint and also Gray's second master!" exclaimed the Saiyan God proudly as he teleports in front of Lyon and delivers a One-Inch Punch to his stomach which created a boom through the battlefield. This ends up knocking Lyon out of commission as he falls into his stomach with his eyes closed..
"Although he didn't even make me use a percentage of my base power, I was able to use some interesting techniques I learned in the last seven years of peace. I can see why Ur choose those two as her students.." said Goku to himself as he stares at Lyon's unconscious form and then moves his gaze towards where Gray was lying down "Alright! I gotta take Gray back to the village so he can rest and recover! I hope Erza-chan and the others are not having issues with the rest of them.."
Without wasting time Goku went to grab Gray and puts him on his back and teleports away from the battlefield where the others are..
Scene Change.. Galuna Island village..
After telling the Mayor about the situation of the village being in danger, every villager went to bunker into their houses thus leaving the rest of Team Natsu as the only people outside waiting for a sudden attack from the enemies..
"So at the end our enemies seems to be behind the cursed of the island" stated Lucy as she was trying to make a conversation as she, Natsu, Happy and Erza were patrolling the streets
"It's still not a hundred percent confirm that Reitei's group is the responsible one about the curse.." commented Erza as she looks through her surrounding with a serious expression "But what is true is him trying to revive a Demon from the past and putting the lives of the people in danger, so we need to be prepared in case they come attacking the village..!"
"Oh yeah! I'm ready to beat their asses into oblivion!" exclaimed Natsu with a savage grin as he collides both of his fists with each other, before anyone could say something Team Natsu saw in front of them Goku appearing via Instant Transmission along with a unconscious Gray behind his back..
"Hey guys I'm back!" exclaimed the Saiyan with his typical grin towards the group
"Goku/Goku-kun!" shouted everyone as they ran towards where the black-haired Saiyan was standing
"My goodness! What happened to Gray?!" said Lucy with a horrified expression at seeing how bloody Gray was looking, she could even see some injuries that haven't healed properly and it could scar if not treated soon..
"He lost against Lyon but I was proud with the way he fought.." said Goku calmly as he moves his gaze towards the unconscious Ice wizard "I was able to heal him somewhat so when he wakes up I'll give him the Senzu bean.."
"What about Reitei? Were you able to defeat him?" asked the red-haired wizard towards the Saiyan
"Of course I did!" exclaimed Goku with a grin on his face "I proved to him that I was superior in every way possible by just using my martial arts techniques..!"
"And you were telling me that if Goku was going to be fine fighting that bum!" stated Natsu casually as he stares at Erza "Of course he was going to defeat him with ease!"
"H-Hey I was just concerned alright! I had no doubt that he was going to defeat him if Gray failed to do so..!" exclaimed the Re-quip with a slight blush creeping up in her face from the embarrassment
"Have Lyon's group arrived yet?" asked the Saiyan towards Erza who shakes her head
"Not at the moment, we were able to arrive to the village before they could." explained the red-haired mage towards Goku "The good news is we manage to get all the villagers inside their houses, at least we can prevent casualties when his group arrives to attack the village.."
"I wonder what's taking them so long to attack.." said Lucy with curiosity as to why their enemies are taking so long
"Either they got lost or they are a bunch of cowards and decided to hide" exclaimed the Dragon Slayer to everyone. Before anyone could respond Goku's sensing abilities alerted him that multiple presence were approaching to their direction..
"Guys! I'm sensing multiple presences approaching our way.." stated the Saiyan God which got the attention of the members of Team Natsu "Not only that, they are approaching through the sky!"
At this everyone looked up to the sky and saw something that shocked them, a giant rat floating in the sky holding some type of substance in a giant bucket, along with the members of Lyon's group, Sherry, Yuka and Toby..
"How the hell is that giant rat flying by using its tail!?" shouted Lucy in a comical way as she couldn't understand how it was flying..
"Not only that, that is the same giant rat that Goku-kun defeated yesterday!" added Erza to the conversation as her gaze was directly focused on Lyon's group who were having a conversation..
"It took us a while to make this poison" commented Sherry as she stares down to the ground where the members of Fairy Tail had a serious expression
"But we came on a good time and not only that, it seems our Fairy Tail mages are already on the scene" stated Yuka with a smirk on his face "This will make it easier for us by killing them along with the village.."
"Onnnn!" said Toby with his typical 'Onn'
"If we don't destroy Deliora completely, we won't be able to accomplish our goals.." stated the pink reddish-haired girl with darkened expression "Everyone who stands in our way deserve nothing but death.."
Without realizing it, the giant rat dropped a small amount of liquid from the bucket which was heading towards Erza. Goku could tell that if that liquid landed on her it could do some serious damage..
"Erza-chan watch out!" exclaimed the Saiyan God loudly as he teleports next to her and grabs her with one arm so he could move her away from the danger, of course this action startled Erza as she was about to ask why he was moving her too close to his chest. But she couldn't get an answer as she could hear a slizzling sound which was the weird liquid after hitting the ground..
That was when a terrifying thought came across the minds of Team Natsu, they realized that liquid is an acid that melts anything it touches..
"Are you kidding me..? They are really planning to use acid to destroy the village?!" said Lucy in a horrified tone as she stares at the spot where the drop of acid landed..
"Those bastards..!" exclaimed Goku with anger as he glares at Lyon's group who were still flying with the giant rat, then his softens up his expression as he looks at Erza who he was still holding with concern "Are you alright Erza-chan?"
"U-uh yeah! I'm okay thanks to you Goku-kun..! Who knows what would of happen if that liquid landed on me.." said the red-haired mage with a blush on her face from the position she was with the Saiyan, unfortunately for her Goku separates himself from her so she could get some breathing space..
"These Fairy Tail mages really don't know when to stop when it comes in intervening in our plans.." stated Yuka as he stares down at the village realizing there were no villagers outside besides their opponent which meant they intervene in their plans..
"They truly are bothersome, like the spawns of Deliora they really are.." added Sherry to the conversation as she then moves her gaze to her pet "Angelica do the honors.."
At hearing this, the giant rat nodded at the order and begins to drop a crazy amount of acid from the bucket, enough to level a village to the ground. This of course got the Fairy Tail mages concerned..
"How are we supposed to stop that crazy amount of acid?!" exclaimed Lucy scared with both of her hands on her head trying to 'protect' herself..
"Tch..!" said Natsu as he was about to do something to stop the incoming attack.
However, he stopped his tracks as he began to feel the ground shake which made him confused at first, but then realized pebbles began to levitate around him followed by the shaking becoming strong enough that it was being felt in entirety of Galuna Island...
"Wait.. I seen this before!" said the Dragon Slayer within his mind as he then moves his gaze towards the person who was shaking the entire island. It was none other than Son Goku raising his Ki as he was enveloped in his white aura with a serious expression as he gazes on the oncoming acid attack "There's no doubt about it! Goku truly is stronger than Gildarts in every way!"
"Incredible, his own aura is shaking the entire island to the core!" thought Erza in awe as she was staring at the Saiyan "Only the Wizard Saints or Gildarts are able to do something of this level and he's matching it with no problems! is there no limit to his raw power?"
The Saiyan then began to concentrate all the Ki he gathered into his right hand and points it up to the direction of where the Acid was going to land and shouts the name of his attack that sends chills in everyone's spine
"Hakai!" shouted Goku as he sends his attack towards the Acid which slowly stared to disappeared as dust and in a couple of seconds later it no longer existed, as if the whole thing never existed "Damn it, I still can't dominate the Hakai in my base form if I needed to use 10% of my Ki in this state! I need to practice more if I want to minimize the energy use, to the level of how Beerus-sama dominates Hakai!"
"I-Incredible.. I can't believe what I'm seeing.." spoke Erza in awe as she just witnessed an entire amount of acid that can destroy the village, being erased into nothingness..
"He completely destroyed all the acid they dropped..! Not even leaving a speck of it!" exclaimed Natsu in surprised as he couldn't believe the attack he saw from his friend/master "And that attack's name, Hakai... What does it represents? Could it be a technique stronger than the Kamehameha itself?"
Lucy and Happy couldn't say nothing for a few seconds of being in shocked until the Celestial mage murmured something to herself
"M-My Goku was able to save everyone... " murmured Lucy as she stares at the Saiyan who was looking at his right hand with determination "And he looked so cool doing that attack!"
Meanwhile that was going on, Lyon's group were in shock as well after witnessing Goku's power and being able to destroy the entire acid substance..
"He saved the entire village by destroying the Acid into nothingness..." murmured Sherry as her eyes were wide from what she just witnessed "Is this his way to express his courage and love?!"
"Impressive, I wasn't expecting him to do that at all.." added Yuka to the conversation as he stared to roll up his sleeves "It seems that we going to have to get our hands dirty after all.."
"Onnnn!" stated Toby once again with his typical saying
Without wasting more time, the three members of Lyon's group descended into the ground along with the giant rat. This alerted the Fairy Tail mages as they got into a battle position
"Goku-kun stand down for this fight, you saved the village by destroying the acid so I can imagine that attack left you low on energy. So please take a break will you? You deserve it.." stated Erza with a small smile as she began to draw her sword from her sheath
"Alright I'll leave this one for you guys! Good luck!" exclaimed Goku with a grin on his face, even thought he could still keep going with no problems he decided that it was for the best to leave this one for them. Besides he needed to take Gray back to the hotel so he could rest properly..
"We can't let Reitei-sama's enemies to get away with this. Even thought we tried to give you a quick painless death, it seems that we need to get our hands dirty with blood.." exclaimed Sherry with a calm expression which amplified her scary factor, this comment of course made everyone's blood boil in anger since it proves they have no regards about the human life..
"More than fifty villagers, four mages with one being unconscious... This will take us around fifteen to twenty minutes." stated Yuka as he came to the conclusion of how long this battle will take..
"Hey I take offense to that! I'm also a mage so that means there's five mages ready to battle you!" exclaimed Happy with a comical angry expression
"We will not let any of you escape, Reitei-sama told us to use any means necessary to kill all of you and that's what were going to do! Angelica!" stated the reddish pink-haired girl out-loud as she a command to her pet..
Without wasting time, the giant rat stared to levitate with her giant tail swinging around quickly that it created a cloud of dirt that covered everyone who was near the rat. After the smoke stared to disappeared they notice that the flying rat along with Sherry wasn't there, not only that but the Celestial mage was also missing as well..
That only meant one thing..
"What?! Why on Earthland I was the only one captured!" shouted Lucy as she was being kidnapped by the giant rat who was using its claws to hold the Celestial mage..
"What an idiot! Getting herself kidnapped that easily..!" exclaimed the Exceed with a mocking expression, for being a Celestial mage she surely is a clumsy and gets kidnapped often..
"Come on Happy don't be like that to Lucy-chan! I can imagine that she has a plan to get out of that situation.." stated the Saiyan God with confidence as he stares at Lucy's direction who was trying to punch and kick the giant rat's claws but it gave no result..
"There's no use blondie! My Angelica's is immune to such weak attacks!" exclaimed Sherry with a confident smile towards the Celestial mage who just grunted at her comment but that didn't mean she was going to give up..
"Alright then how about this!" exclaimed the blonde-haired girl as she began to tickle the giant rat, Sherry was still confident that it wasn't going to work until all of the sudden her Angelica began to laugh uncontrollably which forced the rat to stop spinning its tail, thus making everyone began to fall to the ground..
"See Happy! I told you she got this under control!" said Goku with a cheerful expression until his face morphed into a comical nervous one as he realized that the Celestial mage can't fly
"Goku save me please!" shouted Lucy with tears coming down her face in a comical way
"Oh crap! I forgot that she can't fly like me!" exclaimed the Saiyan God with a nervous expression as he then looks at Natsu and Erza as he began to levitate "I'll go help Lucy-chan guys! Are you guys going to be to fight them and protect Gray at the same time?"
"Of course we can Goku! Who do takes us for?!" said Natsu with a savage grin on his face as he then stares at Erza "Ready to defeat these bums Erza?!"
"Yeah.." stated the S-Class mage neutrally as she Re-quips into her Black Wing Armor which consist of a black armor that leaves some parts of her body expose for mobility, but what attracted everyone's attention was the black wings behind her armor, it was the same armor that she used against Goku two weeks ago.. "Like I said earlier, we'll take care of them Goku-kun. So go save Lucy because she definitely needs it"
"Alright I'll make sure she's safe and sounds, see you guys in a bit!" stated Goku as he shoots off into the sky in super-sonic speeds to where Lucy, Sherry and the giant rat landed, thus leaving the rest of Team Natsu and Lyon's group staring at each other
"I wonder if that fall hurt her.." wondered Yuka without a care of the world as he got into a battle position "Well no matter, she'll find a way to kill that blondie. You ready Toby?"
"Always ready Yuka!" exclaimed the humanoid cat as he also got into his battle position..
"You guys seem confident huh? Well let's see if you can handle my flames!" shouted the Dragon Slayer as he rushes at fast speeds towards Yuka by propelling himself with his flames shooting off from his feet. This of course surprised Yuka as he didn't expect Natsu to be moving quickly that from the shock he received a powerful punch engulfed in fire, which sends him flying a couple meters away but recovers quick by doing a back-flip..
"Yuka!" shouted Toby as he activated his paralysis claws so he could attack Natsu. However he was intercepted by a certain red-haired mage who collided her sword with his claws, in which he was staring to lose the strength duel
"I'm going to be your opponent, so let's dance!" exclaimed Erza as she removes her sword from the claws and with a quick maneuver manages to slash Toby's abdomen which makes him grunt in pain. However, Erza didn't stop there as she uses this opening by delivering a powerful kick to Toby's face, which sends him back a couple of meters away from her with a pained expression..
Yuka noticed that his companion was not going to have an easy fight if it's against the strongest women of Fairy Tail, unfortunately he was busy with his own fight against the Fire mage..
"He's fast..! I got to keep my distance from him if he tries that again.." said the spiky blue-haired mage as he wipes the small trail of blood from his mouth and stares at the Dragon Slayer "As long as he uses magic attacks I should be able to defeat him.."
"I'm not done yet!" said Natsu as he summons a red magic circle close to his mouth and takes a deep breath to release his attack "Fire Dragon Roar!"
A stream of Fire was released from Natsu's mouth as it was headed towards Yuka, who was smirking cockily at the incoming attack as he extends both of his hands as if he was going to block the attack
"Wave!" shouted Yuka as he creates a blue barrier in front of him to block the stream of Fire. When the attack collided with his shield not only did it stopped its track but also was able to dissipate it completely which slightly surprised the Dragon Slayer..
"He was able to make my Dragon Roar disappear with that weird barrier.. Did he do something similar to what Goku did in our fight?" wondered the pink-haired mage with a serious expression. However, his train of thoughts were interrupted by a certain spiky blue-haired mage who spoke up
"Who would of thought that the Salamander of Fairy Tail could posses such violent flames. But that is expected since the guild you come from tend to be destructive" stated Yuka towards his opponent who was now staring at him "However, don't underestimate us just because you belong in a powerful guild! I'll have you know that one time we used to belong in one of the best guilds of Fiore where one of the Wizard Saints is a member off. So don't think this battle will be easy.."
"Look pal, I could care less from what guild you used to belong to. You are targeting the villagers who are our client, which means you are enemies of Fairy Tail.." responded Natsu as he collides both of his fist together to create fire "And for me that's enough reason to knock your ass out!"
"Enough talking Salamander! Wave!" shouted Yuka as he extends one hand to send a powerful condensed shock-wave towards Natsu who dodged the incoming attack by propelling himself with his fire below his feet
"Not only he has good defense with his magic, but also offense as well.." commented Natsu to himself as he notice the trail of destruction that Yuka's attack left behind "I need to come up with a strategy to overwhelm him, and I really don't want to rely on removing my weighted wristbands.."
"It is expected to see that type of reaction when people witness my ability Wave" exclaimed Yuka with a cocky smirk on his face "After all it is a spell that creates vibrations that nullifies any type of magic!"
"Huh so that's why my Dragon Roar was nullified.." said Natsu with some frustration in his tone of voice
"Exactly! there's a reason why I was part of the Anti-Magic squad back in my old guild, it's the number one weapon against any magic user! Wave!" shouted Yuka in glee as he begins to fire off multiple condensed shock-waves towards Natsu, who dodges all them by propelling himself with his flames on his feet.
Not wanting to waste time, the Dragon Slayer stared to apply his flames into his right fist along with a certain type of energy that he has been practicing these last couple of weeks. If what Yuka said about his ability is true, then this should give him the advantage to overcome the barrier protecting him..
"Idiot! it doesn't matter if you apply your flames into your physical attack! The results will end up being the same! Wave!" said the blue-haired mage out-loud as he creates the same blue barrier that dissipated Natsu's Dragon Roar. When the Dragon Slayer's fist collided with the barrier it created a shock-wave that was felt in the entire battlefield, Yuka then notice that Natsu's flames from his fist disappeared which was expected thanks to his ability..
Unfortunately, what he didn't expect was the Dragon Slayer bypassing his barrier and delivering a powerful uppercut to his chin that sends him flying away a couple of meters.. "W-What...?!"
"Alright it worked! Ki can definitely bypass that stupid barrier!" celebrated the Dragon Slayer as he looks at the fist he used Ki with for the first time in combat "I can see how Goku is so powerful in the raw strength aspect, Ki really amplifies your attributes! And that's not even adding the fact I'm wearing these weighted wristbands!"
"Y-You...!" exclaimed Yuka as he stared to slowly get up from where he landed, still in pain from that last attack.. "How the hell were you able to bypass my barrier Salamander?! Making contact with it should have render your arm useless!"
"Keh! Let's just say that I can do more than just magic abilities!" responded Natsu with a cocky smirk as he begins to channel all his inner Ki into his legs, followed by getting into one of the battle stance Goku has taught him "Let's see if you can keep up with my new speed!"
Without wasting time, the Dragon Slayer began to run a super-sonic speeds towards Yuka which created a boom through the battlefield which shocked Yuta and even the others who were near. In the next second Yuka noticed that Natsu was already in front of him, with a savage grin on his face about to deliver a powerful attack with his right leg..
"S-Shit! I wasn't able to keep up with his sudden upgrade of speed! Is he going to use Magic in this attack or used that same previous technique?!" shouted Yuta within his mind as he decides to go with his gut and creates his Wave barrier before Natsu's attack landed..
However, his gut was going to fail him this time around..
"Renewal Taekwondo: 3rd Stance Hwechook!" exclaimed Natsu as he delivers three kicks at fast speed into three different parts of Yuka's body, one of them being his head.. After executing his attack successfully and appearing behind him, the Dragon Slayer manages to knock Yuka out cold followed by destroying his Wave shield as well.. "Shit, I think I overdid it this time.. But man using Ki for the first time in combat and without removing my wristbands really got me tired out, I see why Goku told me to be careful in using Ki this way"
"What an impressive display of speed Natsu.." congratulated Erza as she approached the Dragon Slayer with Toby unconscious behind her back "And that technique you just preformed, it's the same one that Goku-kun used against me in the sparring match.. Have you and Gray being training with him these last two weeks?"
"Straight to the point with you huh.." exclaimed Natsu with a deadpanned expression "Yeah we have been training under him these two weeks, we wanted to keep it a surprise for everyone in the guild until the moment was right"
"And I assume that moment was this match correct?" asked the red-haired mage with curiosity in which the Dragon Slayer shakes his head in respond
"Nah, this is nothing from what I'm truly capable off now" said the Dragon Slayer with confidence which made Erza's eyes go slightly wide at his comment "Let's just say that I won't need to use my Ki at all if I remove these weighted wristbands to preform that last attack I just did now"
"Not only is Natsu faster than what he was two weeks ago, but also learned how to use Ki to a small degree in that short amount of time!" thought Erza to herself as she stares at Natsu who was now speaking with Happy "I knew Goku's training methods are effective since he taught me a technique from his Moon Light Sword Style, but to be able to launch them to this level of strength? I wouldn't be surprised if sooner or later Natsu and Gray can defeat mages who are in the S-Class range.."
"So.. You were able to defeat your opponent? Not that I'm surprised of course" commented the Dragon Slayer which stopped Erza's train of thoughts as she focuses on the conversation
"Indeed, he was no match against me but he did have a gimmick that was rather annoying.." responded the red-haired mage as she remembers how Toby was trying to hit her with a green substance in his claws, fortunately even with that gimmick she defeated him with ease..
"So what do with them? And what about our unconscious Ice Princess?" asked Natsu with curiosity towards the S-Class wizard
"We'll tied them up and leave it to the authorities of this town, they'll know what to do with them.." stated Erza with a serious expression as she then moves her gaze towards the unconscious Gray laying behind Happy "After that we are going to take Gray back to the hotel and wait for Goku-kun and Lucy to comeback, then we will plan our next move"
"Sounds like plan!" said Natsu with a grin on his face
"Aye sir!" added Happy to the conversation as he began to lift up Gray's body with his flight ability and follows both mages, who were carrying their respective unconscious opponents on their back..
Scene Change... Somewhere in Galuna Island Jungle..
Meanwhile at the same time the fight was going on, somewhere in the jungle we could see Lucy who luckily saved herself from the fall was already fighting Sherry. After exchanging some words they began their battle in which the Celestial mage was at a disadvantage from the beginning, the pink reddish-haired mage explained that her abilities is able to mind control any non-living things and that's including her Celestial Spirits. Which is why Lucy was in a situation in where she was trying to dodge all the attacks that Taurus, one of her stronger spirits from her arsenal was delivering to her..
"Come on Taurus, snap out of it!" exclaimed Lucy as she dodges another axe swing from the Celestial Spirit. The humanoid bull did not respond to her claims and instead just roared like a savage beast and was about to attack Lucy once again with its axe.
However, before the blonde-haired mage could attempt to dodge the attack again a certain Saiyan God appeared in front of her and block's the attack with his lone left index finger..
"Goku-kun you're here!" exclaimed the Celestial mage in relief that her usual savior is here..
"Are you alright Lucy-chan?" asked Goku with his typical smile as he faces his companion and at the same time blocking Taurus's axe casually "From what I can see you didn't received any damage from that fall.."
"Yeah, I was able to do some quick thinking to save myself so I'm fine.." said Lucy as her face turned into a concerned one as she gazes at Taurus "But Taurus has been acting like a savage ever since I summoned him! It's thanks to that Sherry's magic ability that he ended up like this.."
"Mind Manipulation I'm assuming huh?" stated Goku as his gaze landed on Sherry who was watching the scene from a rock formation..
"Almost but you're in the right track, my magic can manipulate any non-living things and that applies to Celestial Spirits too!" Sherry exclaimed while smiling. However, Taurus's faint voice interrupted the conversation
"Go-Goku-san.. You have to stop me..! I don't want to do something that I will regret..!" exclaimed Taurus with the little willpower he had left. Goku who nodded in understanding removes Taurus's axe from him by using the same index finger he blocked with, followed by delivering a One-Inch Punch with his other hand right into his gut. When the punch made contact with the Celestial Spirit stomach it created a boom that was heard in the jungle, which made him fall into the ground but before he went unconscious he delivered some words to the Saiyan "Thank you Goku-san..."
"Return to the Celestial Spirit World, Taurus!" exclaimed Lucy immediately as she uses her golden Zodiac key to return her Spirit back home. Then the Celestial mage looked sadly at the golden key, she never wanted to put one of her spirits in these types of situation again but she had no other choice! It was either fight or die.. "If only I was able to fight her head on without needing my Spirits but who am I kidding! right now I'm the weakest mage of the group! I can only rely on my spirits to fight meanwhile everyone else besides Happy can do it on their own.. Maybe I wasn't cut for doing these type of missions.."
Before the blonde-haired girl could continue her negative thoughts, someone touched her shoulder and when she looked up she could see it was Goku who had a soft smile on his face..
"Hey Lucy-chan, I don't know what you're thinking but it's not your fault. You just weren't aware that Sherry's ability was a counter to yours and that's okay it happens to the best of us including me..!" said Goku still keeping his smile towards her "Besides, Taurus will be okay and I can image he's not angry at you! So cheer up okay!"
"Thanks Goku-kun... I really needed that" responded the Celestial mage as she quickly wipes the tears that were forming in her eyes from the frustration, followed by slightly blushing from the words she heard "Leave it to my beloved Goku-kun to cheer me up, he really is the most unique guy I've ever met.."
Sherry had seen the scene unfold and couldn't help but feel a strange sensation, and she couldn't help to feel that the one responsible was that black-haired guy next to the blondie..
"That man.. When he's talking to that Celestial mage he transmits a warmth that can be felt with the naked eye, but why?" Sherry asked herself as she put her hands on her chest and then the pinkette's eyes went wide as she came to a realization "Is this... pure love!?"
However her train of thought's were interrupted by Goku who spoke up to get her attention..
"Oi!" stated the Saiyan God out-loud towards his opponent "Now what do you plan to do? Because if it's fighting then I wouldn't recommend it since I'm powerful than you in every way! So just give up and leave this island with your pals!"
"Y-You..!" stated Sherry as she pointed her finger towards the Saiyan "What is your name again?!"
"She completely ignored his warning! Is she stupid or something?!" thought Lucy flabbergasted as she didn't expect Sherry to outright ignore his petition..
"My name is Son Goku, why do you want to know?" asked the black-haired Saiyan with curiosity
"Son Goku huh.. Then let me ask you this! Do actually know how to transmit pure love!" exclaimed the female member of Lyon's team to Goku who just stared at her in confusion..
"Pure love? I don't understand your question, what do you mean pure love?" asked Goku with genuine confusion on his face, he even felt a sense of Deja Vu at hearing that question like he was asked that in another time in the past..
(A/N: *wink* *wink* Tournament of Power)
"Pure Love, or love in general! do you even know what love is?!" Sherry asked very impatiently as she wanted to know his answer right away..
Goku was simply still confused by every question that Sherry was throwing at him, it didn't help that her behavior seemed very strange to him since he had never seen someone like her being obsessed with the topic of Love. But since he wanted to end this fight once and for all, he decided to answer her question with everything he knew from the last sixty years of his life.
"Well, I don't understand truly the topic of love since I'm never was good at those things. But if I remember correctly, what I know about love it is something that is given to the people you love the most in your life, like family, friends or even people who are in need of it.." explained the Saiyan with a smile as he remembers all his family and friends from Earth, they all deserved his love and appreciation after what they done for him..
Including his deceased wife who he appreciated and loved the most..
"That's exactly what I feel for you, my beloved Goku.." thought the Celestial mage with a enamored expression. Since the first moment he saved her life, she felt captivated by the Saiyan God and not only that, the boy had been so kind and considerate of her feelings and always took care of her when she didn't need him at all, as if he were her guardian angel.
Since then she has believed that love at first sight truly existed..
"Give love to the people you love most?" the pinkette thought as she placed her hands on her face since Goku's sincere words were somehow captivating her.. "So is that the true meaning of love? Was this how it worked this entire time?"
Those were just two of the hundreds of questions that ran through her mind..
"Now I know what should I do.." murmured Sherry as she then gazes at the Saiyan God with fierce determination, followed by creating multiple Golems she created from the surrounding trees in the jungle and the rock formation she was standing on top of it "I want you to give me your love, Son Goku!"
"Is that woman delusional or what?!" Lucy exclaimed shocked and comically at the same time. Meanwhile Goku stares at her with a serious expression once again and got into a battle position..
"Lucy-chan step aside for now. I'll take care of this with a single move!" exclaimed the black haired Saiyan confidently as he got his right hand into the air and began to pour some of his Ki into it. However, he was interrupted by one of the giant Golems was about to grab him, but Goku quickly disappeared from Sherry's sight who was trying to look for him.
Without noticing it, the Saiyan God reappeared behind Sherry and the army of Golems and began to mold his Ki in his right hand. After two seconds of stalling Goku created one of his best friends technique which took the form of a yellow disk of Ki..
"Kienzan!" shouted Goku as he launches the technique towards Sherry's small army of Golems, and in a matter of seconds the technique split all her golems in two pieces, which shocked Lucy who was witnessing this..
"Incredible..! He was able to cut her Golems like if it was knife cutting through hot butter!" thought the Celestial mage with a surprised expression that morphs into a happy one "My beloved Goku always finding ways to defeat opponents!"
"Kyaaaaaa!" yelled Sherry like a child since she was about to fall for the second time and this time she was not going to land safety, since behind her is a ravine which will ensure her death, so she closed her eyes waiting for her imminent death.
However, what she didn't expect was someone stopping her fall as she felt someone grasping into her arm tightly. When she opened her eyes Sherry noticed that her savior was none other than Son Goku..
"That was a close one, it's a good thing I was able to catch you with my Instant Transmission!" stated Goku with a smile as he begins to carry the pinkette bridal style, which made said mage blush profoundly at the situation she was at..
"Why...why are you saving me? I'm you're enemy and I tried to kill your blonde companion so why?" Sherry asked in a weak tone of voice towards the Saiyan who responded immediately
"Easy, at first glance I can see that you are not a bad person. You are just following the wrong path which is reviving a demon like Deliora. I'll tell you in advance that that it will not solve anything, on the contrary, you will only cause pain to people near you, including the villagers who have nothing to do about this.." explained Goku sincerely towards Sherry who was drowning in her thoughts..
"Is Reitei..?" Sherry began to shake her head as she knew that was not his real name "No that's not his name.. Is Lyon-kun making a mistake in reviving a Demon that has tormented him for the last decade..? Do we even know if we are capable to take said Demon on our own..? Do I really want people to suffer in the name of the 'Love' that I preach..?"
"I know you have a lot to think about.. However, we need to wrap this up.." commented Goku neutrally who interrupted the girl's thoughts, as he puts Sherry back into her feet and began to stare at the Saiyan with a slight blush on her face..
"Son Goku-kun, thank you for saving my life. I promise I won't do bad things that will jeopardize your mission from my side!" commented Sherry with a beautiful smile that she hasn't shown in years, which made Goku smiled back as he teleports behind her and knocks her out unconscious by hitting the back on her neck where her pressure point is..
"I hope you forgive me for this.." said the Saiyan God to himself as he grabs the unconscious Sherry and puts it behind his back..
"Goku-kun!" said a familiar voice which made Goku turned his head to see Lucy approaching him with a big smile and hugs him tightly "I'm so glad that you won the fight! thank you again for saving me once again!"
"There's no need to thank me Lucy-chan! You know that I'm always here to help you when you need it" the Saiyan God commented with his typical smile "Now we have to go back to Natsu and the others"
"O-Of course! but what about her?" said Lucy as she points at the unconscious Sherry that was behind Goku's back "What are you planning to do with her?"
"Don't worry! I'll take her to the nearest clinic in the village so she can rest, I can't leave her where she could die from wild animals attacking her.." commented Goku neutrally as he stares at unconscious pinkette mage "This girl used all her magic on that mini army of Golems, so her magic levels are low.."
"Then I'll support your decision Goku-kun! If you think this is the right way to deal with this then I'll believe you!" stated the Celestial Mage with a smile as it then morphs into a nervous one "Let's just hope that Erza won't punish us for letting her free.."
"Relax Lucy-chan! I'll explain myself to the rest of Team so they don't attack her when she's still unconscious.." said the Saiyan God as he tries to reassured the Celestial mage which in the end it works..
"Goku is always so considerate of everyone, even to his opponents! Why is he like that?" Lucy thought deeply as she is very intrigued by Goku's carefree attitude "I like that a lot about him..." she thought about that last thing with a blush on her cheeks..
"Alright let's not waste anymore time! We need to get back to the village and plan our next move!" commented Goku neutrally to Lucy who nodded at him in affirmation, without wasting time she grabs onto one of his free arms and the three of them teleport away back into the village, where they will plan their next step..
Since their mission was far from over...

Fun facts about this chapter
1. Both Natsu and Gray are being nerfed by the weighted wristband that prevents them to unleash their full power. The only reason why Natsu showed better feats is because of being calm in the situation, nothing compared to Gray who was in turmoil all the time in his fight with Lyon since it brought memories of the past..
2. Both Natsu and Gray at this moment are at the same level, it all came down to their mental state.
3. The original chapter was around 6k words, this one has the double of that. Which means is clocking at 12-13K words
4. I didn't showed Erza vs Toby because we all know at this moment Erza can low-diff him lol.
5. Goku didn't used any Ki-enhanced attacks or abilities besides the Kienzan (Destructor Disk) and Hakai in this chapter..
6. Goku in his 6 month training was able to learn about the Hakai thanks to Whis, however the level he can preform it is at a novice level. Similar to what he did in the Future Zamasu arc in the Dragon Ball Super manga.
7. Natsu's level with Ki with the wristbands is almost reaching S-Class wizard status but he can only use it in short burst, nothing compared to Goku
8. A lot of changes are seen in this chapter, one of them being the extended dialogue and fights. But most importantly this version of Lucy being in love with Goku compared to the original version.
