Chapter 2: 10 years later

Ten years have passed since the fall of the Jedi Order and defeat of the Sith. It would have been different if not for the force ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn leading Anakin Skywalker to remain in the light…

And in a result lead him in destroying the Sith fulfilling the Prophecy in bringing balance in the force.

But at a terrible cost after Mace Windu confronted Chancellor Palpatine it was viewed by the Public the Jedi were considered as fugitives and surviving Jedi were declared. Fugitives for Palpatine's disappearance by the Senate.

We first come to Tatooine where Anakin was born and he and his mother were sold into slavery till Anakin was freed by Qui-Gon. Shami Skywalker was freed years later by Cleed Lars and married her.

But here…Obi-Wan Kenobi went into Solitude here…mainly cause it was where his former apprentice and brother was born and felt a part of him would be with him here…

In the original series he was here protecting young Luke Skywalker while being raised by his Aunt and Uncle when Anakin fell under the dark side and became Darth Vader.

But in this timeline Obi-Wan was here to remember Anakin by given he might not be seeing him again.

Like in the original version he still worked in a meat company.

He pretty much kept to himself during work and transportation.

He still lived in a cave trying to reach Qui-Gon through the force but no answer Anakin didn't even tell him that he spoke to him before the temple was attacked.

Obi-Wan still goes by the name old Ben to keep the Senate from finding him…

But unaware…the Senate's Inquisitors came in search of Jedi.

And the Third Sister is still looking for Obi-Wan.

But the order inquisitors still didn't believe her and treated her like she's crazy which made her angrier and determined to find Obi-Wan.

But one day after old Ben's shift just ended he happened to run into an old friend who was basically Anakin's step brother: Owen Lars.

"You're still here are you?" Owen asked.

"I'm just an ordinary man making a living, Owen." Obi-Wan said.

"But you're not an ordinary man. You're one of them. Last thing my wife. I need is you leading the Senate here." Owen said.

"No one knows who I am, Owen. The Senate won't think of looking for me here." Obi-Wan said.

"That's where you're wrong. There were people in black here looking for a Jedi and they mean business." Owen said.

"They'll pass over time." Obi-Wan said.

"Not before they rig the whole damn planet. If you were smart you be on the next transportation out of here." Owen said.

Owen was about to leave till Obi-Wan about.

"Aren't you wondering about Anakin?" Obi-Wan said.

He stopped and froze in his tracks.

"He is your brother." Obi-Wan said.

"Step brother. My father married his mother. And when he showed up just when his mother died…I saw what he was like." Owen said.

"I wasn't any different. When I was younger my master Qui-Gon Jinn was killed by a Sith like Palpatine. He was his apprentice before Dooku." Obi-Wan said.

"That's my point. Anakin should have never became a Jedi cause all they do is bring unwanted attention." Owen said.

"Anakin and his mother were slaves, Owen." Obi-Wan said.

"My dad freed his mother Ben. We could have saved him too." Owen said.

"Maybe so…but Anakin turned out well. He was a wonderful child." Obi-Wan said.

"And I'm sure he's gonna train them as Jedi too. Like you trained him. He'll only put those kids in danger." Owen said.

"Anakin would never intentionally-" Obi-Wan said.

"Not intentionally no. But he would if he trains them. Face it Ben this all started when that master of yours took him away from his mother. So if you really care about anyone here you'll leave tonight." Owen said.

The stubborn farmer left Obi-Wan nodding when facing down but suddenly the Inquisitors show up looking for the Jedi and the Third Sister still interrogates Owen.

"What's your name?" Third Sister asked.

"Owen." Owen said.

"Owen. Farmer right? Wife? Kids?" Third Sister asked.

"Just a wife. And we're no concern to you." Owen said.

"You might be. You got a Jedi on that farm with you both." Third Sister said.

"No." Owen said.

"And why should I believe you?" Third Sister asked.

Owen states as he did in the Obi-Wan series that she has no love for the Jedi that they're vermin to him and his wife: Bru and of course it still angers the Third Sister she shouts threatening Owen and Bru ignition her crimson lightsaber if no ones surrenders the Jedi…

Until the Fifth Brother stopped her offering an award for anything on the Jedi and pulling her away…

As soon as they were gone, Obi-Wan still thanked Owen for not giving him away like in the original version, but Owen didn't do it for him…

"I did it for him." Owen said.

And by him…he meant Anakin and Obi-Wan knew even knew he missed Anakin as much as he did…
