Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: If anyone noticed continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating now. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.
He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now her in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.
With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 95: New Futures And Fresh Starts V

"Your screams of I can't do whatever, you're merely a colonel I'm a two star general, mister, under orders by a bunch of 3, 4 and 5 stars, in both medical and command. But you're top secret, Daniel's working ultra top secret, so he out ranks you in the classifieds. So he has higher authority then you do here, just the way it is." Hammond said and he started shaking in fear then. "And her and Frasier's aren't any better here right now." Rodney said and he nodded then.
"Her as an adult, she's what mom looks like, just 19 years younger, mom's age group are going on 60, but they still got it right now, dad never retired here in truth." Mark Carter told them and they nodded. "Hey son, I take it you came to investigate this, knowing she's in enough trouble and holding your father's position?" Hammond asked and he nodded. "Yeah Uncle George and I never been more disgusted in her behavior, I thought here."
"And after Ken, that she'd have learned her lesson, but evidently I was wrong." he said and she swallowed hard. "Well I maybe friends with your father, but after what she did, she damaged your father's relationship with me, I chose Danny over your sister." he said and Mark nodded, and wiped the tears off his face. "I understand Uncle George, it's not your or Daniel's fault, she should think before she acts, in truth." he said and she swallowed hard.
"Take care of yourself, Daniel." he said and Daniel nodded. "Samantha, just wait till dad hears the entire truth, he's going to be pissed at what you did to cause that. What the hell were you thinking exactly where's the you dad and I know exactly!" he snapped and she started shaking in fear, realizing her entire family was pissed at her. "Oh I understand plenty, but have you ever said go to hell, for once in your life?" he said sternly to her.
And she went white, realizing if she decided screw the going on the mission, and listening for the key sentence, she wouldn't be in this much trouble. "That bastard is the reason you are in this mess, so wait to go you idiot, you may appear to be smart. But in actual truth here, you are an idiot, if you can't decide to switch teams as your unit is deactivated. After Daniel was MIA for 5 months, damn it." he said and she started shaking in fear.
"In her mind we're not acting rational or listening to reason, that can't we understand everything she did was to protect herself." Hammond said and he nodded. "And to quote him now, no Sam, no, it was you: you, O'Neill, Frasier, and the NID that wanted it. One too many short cuts, he swore, if he ever went down this road, he'd never lift a finger. To help him, and you three, you all managed major fucks ups, where the hell here."
"Is your common sense here right now, I mean really, really right now, after Kenny and he came down with Pneumonia, where the hell is your brain right now, in truth. Did having Jolinar end up in your head or hanging around that bastard you call a team leader, completely destroy your ability to think rationally right now. But just because they never said it, you should at least check it, check the scent, before drinking."
"That if it's smelling that heavily of earth spices, it could be drugged, if they never said it, never take it, what the hell is the matter with you, exactly. I agree entirely with him right now, where the hell is your common sense exactly!" he said and she started shaking violently in fear at the sibling bashing then, now seeing this. And as he, her own brother now, thought she should have been thinking, before drinking it now at the time there.
"The 5 of us take this power on, leaving Queenie, Marga and Rosie's double and we can choose Barbara Streisand to play Rosie, kind, funny and motherly, so that works. It's the same thing every time, we're a team, that team is a family and we took care of each other." Hoffman said and Coyote nodded, smiling then. "And you're a teenager trapped in an adult body, pulling pranks on us with your powers, I'll tell you this much young man, in truth here now."
"Somebody better stop playing with their powers here, keep it up and you're grounded, pal." Barnes added and he smiled. "And if I don't." he asked and he smiled. "Don't push it pal or you're really going to get it, son." he said and Hammond chuckled, seeing the love growing in his eyes towards Daniel as he saw Daniel smiling. "Issues, it's being able to get playful again, but there it is, team mother and father, let alone favorite uncle." Fletcher said to that gently.
"No there's the him we know again, the him Rosy and I raised, he's coming back out." Barnes said smiling and Hammond smiled at that. "One or two traumas as a kid, but he set that aside, from 14 to 31 years old, he never been happier. And now my little boy is himself again, there's the him I know again." he said and Daniel smiled, as the older man hugged him and he tightened his arms, and Jack went white, realizing he and their cook were family friends.
"If that thought crossed your mind, then yeah we are family friends, very dear family friends, if Mel and Claire were still alive, Mel would be sending him to Brandon over the summer. And he was on deepsea diving training, but the family runs along Air Force, Army and Navy. In Medical/psychiatric, so as a result, to him this was his life till you came into it. Uh let me see here right now." he said, rewinding the tape to his exchange with Daniel in the vision now.
"And does this ring any bells right now." Daniel said smiling sternly, playing it back, as he activated the image of their conversation, after there was a play back. As Daniel told Hammond, he was retiring from the program and it flashed up his exchange with Jack in the episode. And just after Amonet tried to kill him and Jack paled, realizing his attitude. It had played a part of his decision to quit from the SGC and now seeing the only person he would miss was Teal'C.
Till Teal'C decided to quit too, and came along with him, as they stayed a duo, in program teams, and passed their knowledge to Landry now. "Hey! You should meet the whiz kid they saddled us with while you were out of commission." he said and Daniel ignored even looking at him. "Robert Rothman. He was my research assistant when I was doing my dissertation. Smart guy, had a good teacher." he said and he said it in disgust then.
"Geek." he said and Daniel sighed. "That's the reason we scientists don't want anything to do with you, you're as prejudiced. As a teenage just activated training ensign calling the General the old man, because you're not getting attention, as a teenage red shirt." Renfro said sternly then. "Yes, you used to call me that." he said and Jack said it. "I was talking about you, so…., how long are we going to be stuck with this guy?" He said to him as Daniel said it.
"What do you mean?" he asked and Jack paled, as he heard his voice, realizing this really was forever now at the news and he said it then. "How long are you going to be gone?" he said and Daniel nodded. "Didn't…, didn't dad tell you?" he said and he said it. "What? That you quit? Yeah, he told me that, but uh…, come on, we both know you can't stay away." he said to him then, and Hammond shook his head sternly, and Jack started shaking then.
"Then I guess we're both wrong cause…, I'm gone." he said and he said it snidely. "Give it a week. You'll miss me." he said and Daniel said it bluntly."Yes, all the…salty, bad-tempered insults, all the illogical arguments…" he said and she flinched, realizing every word to Jack was another piece to her situation with him. "Ok, you'll miss Carter and Teal'C." he said and he said it, switching it. "I'll miss Teal'C." he said and she felt that slam.
Then, into her, realizing in being around Jack, he come to take offense to anything she did regarding him, and Teal'C was the only friend he had out of the 4 of them. Her, Jack, Teal'C and Janet then, because they treated him like crap ever since Jolinar came into the picture. "And you'll miss the excitement: All the new cultures you get to explore, the living history. It's the kind of stuff you can't walk away from." he said and she swallowed hard then.
"Jack: Up until now, every time I set foot through that 'Gate I was thinking about my wife, maybe I'll see her this time, maybe this is the one. Now every time I go through, it'd just be some.., someplace, where that hope used to be." he said and Sarah felt her heart rip apart, realizing that's how he'd feel after she too got taken. "That's why I can't do it any more…, I hope you understand that." he said and Anna wiped the tears off her face.
"The SGC may be the single most important human endeavor for the future of mankind, not bad, huh?…, You said that." he said and he said it in finality then. "The SGC will go on without me, you got by without me when I was for 2 months. after I found Denali, you can do without me now, as I'm transferring departments." he said firmly and she swallowed hard. "Point taken, I quit, before Linea." he said sternly and they paled.
"But you see, in truth, the truth is out, he's no stronger to me, in fact rather then 1 year, is 20 years, you only came into my life, for 5 years, they all had 29." he said and they went white and Barnes smiled sternly. "Twenty nine, what do you mean 29?!" she said shaking and Barnes nodded. "Just that young lady, 1 year alone, combined with a trauma, 2 more with grandpa psychiatrist, the rest with us, his family." he said sternly and she started shaking violently.
"But one year alone with another trauma, the year after his parents died, we, his family gave him the support to pull through, followed by, now. By 20 years back with family, you come back into his life, and we immediately know here, you're going to do something. Just to throw him back in that emotional hell hole, and decide any further stunts, your but is ending up in court." Matheson said and she went white, realizing this was why he hated her attitude then finally.
Just hearing her name again, his stock realization meant here, she came back into his life, and he never wanted to see her again, after Queens now. "Clingy little tramp, you think you own him is that it, well not even close to the truth, he can have other female friends. Other friends period, besides you, you were pissed you lost your mother, maybe now you'll know how it feels." Dillon said and she swallowed hard, knowing she pissed off his entire family gang now then.
"But 8 years traveling around, from dig to dig, my unit was stationed, on every Naval base, just in range of them, to keep the family together, we were in L.A., when he was there. And that was it, little 13 year old him, grew up doing this, 13 trapped in 15 year old body. So as a result, we created a suit sized to him, he did this every summer for 5 years, before college. Spent another 10 years, traveling from site to site with us, he's Navy for good." Barnes said and she gulped.
"This is where I belong, my uncles, a woman I love like a mother, I know she's here." Daniel said and Jack started shaking violently and Barnes smiled sternly. "The truth just came out you little shit, Brandon, Rose, Dave and I were his family, we played the part of a family. And he loved every summer with us, you little bastard." a medical doctor no older then Barnes and Henderson said and Daniel smiled. "Hey Dr. Patterson." he said and Jack swallowed hard.
"Hey baby, good to have you back, son." the doctor said smiling then and Hoffman smiled. "Yeah Dale is just right to play you alright, my team M.D.." he said smiling and he smiled. "Issues in being a bookworm, the bedrooms were jammed with books, he's as much a book worm. As Barret was on The Neverending Story." Barnes said with a chuckle and he nodded. "As I, as Brandon, said, said touch, nothing can be more damaging." he said and Jack started shaking.
"I'm still working this out, in what they have, but it could be worse then you expected right now, after they sexually assaulted me here. But with that in mind, with you a younger version of Christopher now, it's cracking decoding. And when you knew your patient all his life, but that reflected in sphere remark, never mind that. Use the normal key, 1=A, 2=B, 3=C and so on, and reprogram the damn computer here, once we do this episode." he said and they nodded then.
"Good point, I miscounted the numbering, and Sam rewrote it for me, and the ending results are it came out, 'Hello how are you, I am fine, what is your name, my name is Sam.'." Schrieber said and Hoffman nodded sternly. "And with that here, we all went in, but the 6 of us had the strength and energy not to let it destroy us. And we been training for weeks to handle it now, said explosives, that's cold blooded genocide, she's trying to destroy your recovery."
"And by killing me and everyone that loves you here on the ship, she finally just snapped." he said sternly and Sam swallowed hard at the remark, realizing she got caught by him. But she didn't have a choice, no them, there was no holding him anywhere, but to the SGC. As Daniel looked at her, completely disgusted and in shock, and she started shaking in fear then. "You cold blooded, two bit whore, so that's your little plan, after Sha're, kill anyone holding me here."
"So I can return to Colorado Springs, yeah you changed alright, the you I know is dead, you whore, just wait till your father hears of this right now. Can you be anymore crazy jealous, I'm no one's property, I am not a prize to be coveted, get that through your god damn heads!" he shouted at her and she started shaking in fear, now knowing she destroyed him here. And she was facing the consequences in the only way he knew how: Aramis, he was giving her to him.
As he was shaking in fury then, as that remark and Jack swallowed hard then, knowing what they decided, made him so furious, he was going to throw them to the hells. They brought upon themselves here finally, based on Hathor now at the time here now. "You deserve this, my only family is Sarah and my family gang, dad, the team is no longer my family, it never was. You turned me into this, and now you pay the price." he said sternly and they swallowed hard.
"All of this stems from Hathor, you have 3 weeks left, and then you no longer exist in this reality, the Stargate program is civilian ran with military help. Get your affairs in order, because that dosage last 15 months, and you're not in that reality as you are." he said and they started shaking violently in fear. "No longer exists, meaning SGC-1 was never created, the SGA had two bases, here, and Cheyenne Mountain Complex, you never joined the program here now."
"Therefore we never see each other again, after Queens, you can't remember me at all now, you stayed in the real military, in this reality. It's all advancement with absolutely no weapons, we create the world where we connected without weapons. But now is I'm not thinking twice about this, it's Aramis, the penalty is Aramis, but she, you, deserve this now. Every bit of it, cold blooded genocide in desperation is murder, no matter what way you cut it here, and the covet."
"The covet has her so desperate to hold on, she's willing to sacrifice anyone to free herself, she's facing the consequences, the trial sentence in the only way I can give them. By handing her over to Aramis, if she goes through with it." Daniel said and she swallowed hard at that. "Meaning here right now, we as your religious leaders, just gave judgement, and judgement day is here, we get it right now now, but quite honestly your decision is the best punishment."
"We understand by, that vision paved the way to a new future, and she's nothing to you now, until they came back into your life, everything was fine. But she crossed over, as she's one of them now." Thomas said and she swallowed hard then, shaking. "I know, but this crossed the line, my family was Sarah and her parents, I'm an orphan, you knew this. But we're Catholic bordering on Jesuits, and my grandfather was one." he said and Thomas nodded gently then.
"I know, but me to you, and Bill to your father and Robbie, things never changed, in this reality, it's as if there was nothing, keeping us from a happy life. No deaths of a team member, means no walking headlong into danger, and it's because, these guys think, and before acting. But we can't prevent your parents loss, but we can, the following 25 years of things. You get married, and baby, is you at 17, later, so we get to be grandparents, adopted." he said and he smiled.
"Nice work you tramp, you destroyed him completely and now he wants nothing to do with you, to him, you're nothing to him now. Sam Carter SGC no longer exists, in her place, is Sam Carter, NID, but enough is enough, but do you not realize. That he has the power, just as much as Anakin does, at his current age of 20, he's a good man, only that good has now gone so good. That to you he looks evil, but to us, he's altering the prophecy, fitting it to his interpretations."
"Meaning here right now, as Mace Windu, as his mentor, Liam and me, we're his mentors, Liam giving him the guidances to stay good. Me, helping him channel his anger, and throwing it back into the blade here, we're Jedi. Danny is, next to Wesley, the strongest Jedi we have, every bit of his anger is a weapon now?" Jackson asked sternly then and she went pale then, realizing she just turned him into Vader, pre total fall to the darkside, he become so good, he was evil.
"That's right young lady, you're nothing to him, but trying to lie to us, via said code, nice try, but this, you're going to kill us. Us: Derek, Brandon, Rosy and me, our family gang, Sarah and her parents, to break him. I don't think so, you just crossed the point of no return, there is no coming back from this. You just proved to us, your desperation means no bounds, you're willing to kill anyone to be free from the affliction, that your bastard of team leader caused in you."
"Daniel just drew judgement on you, it's Aramis!" Barnes said and she paled, realizing that was a test and she failed. "James, it's quadruple security, she's not getting out of that hospital, Daniel's getting a new way to handle this, creating an alternate reality. Where he never existed in George's version of the stargate program and we do the rest, he's part of my team, for good right now." Henderson said and he nodded to him.
"She's a cold blooded little monster baby, you never did anything to her, she did this to herself, by following that little bastard's command, as we said and keep saying. It's not your job to prevent them from making fools of themselves, they should have the common sense. To know better, but trying to destroy everything you hold dear, to hold you to the SGC. No us, she thinks she's safe from walking back in there, but all we see here, is she lost her mind entirely now."
"Out of desperation, to the point she's because a threat to herself, to us, to everyone on the ship, there is no other choice, she needs to be committed, indefinitely." Barnes said and she went white, realizing to them, she lost her mind completely then. And as Barnes gripped the back of his neck, and he pressed his forehead to his, as they heard purring coming out of him. Before he buried his head into his neck, as the purring continued and Hammond smiled then.
As he hugged him tightly, the little cub in him beyond happy again then, as he pulled back angrily at her at this revelation, as he looked at her in hatred then. "So that's it, you think your miserable life is so important, you destroy everything I love, my happiness. You think nothing holding me to wherever, I come crawling back to you, after you ripped my heart out. Twice in 26 years, Captain?" Daniel asked and she started shaking violently in fear and he said it sternly.
"It's not happening, I'll kill you first, before you kill my family, you hear me, I'll kill you." he growled and she went white completely, realizing she made a big mistake then. "That's right, you made a big god damn mistake screwing with me, you're fully human, I'm a Q. As such, I can just send you into nothing, or I can erase you from existence now here. Create my little world, in which there is no you, no Jack, no Makepeace and Johnson, no Kinsey, West."
"And Vidrine, no military intelligences and certainly no NID here." he said sternly and she swallowed. "Just imagine it now, one reality has me involved in it, the other, you never existed, because the Generals running the program are, in command. Dad, Landry and Picard, you're a civilian still so close to your father, you never went into the stargate program. Dad saved your father, but you never committed a crime big enough to land you behind bars now here."
"Jack was killed on the front lines, of the Abydos expedition, as Ra hears from me, earth never intended to rise up against him. But that resulted in Apophis choosing Shakyl as his first prime, Teal'C, Drey'auc and Bra'tac were out of the picture, so me in the stargate program. Teal'C's change of heart when we're teenagers, you never joined the military, Jack was killed. By Ra, and the SGC was the SGA, science department." he said and she started shaking in fear at that.
"Teal'C switched sides when Hanno was 13 years old." he said and they started shaking in fear then. "Come to think it, that's a very good idea, there is no you, because you're civilian, the renegades never heard of you, as SGC-1 doesn't exist. The uniforms are blue, there is no Military Intelligences services now in this reality. As I can just recreate the reality that I walked into here, Catherine is alive, as are the guys, dad and whoever else, but there is no you."
"Therefore no you, Charlie, your Charlie, is alive, because he never fired that gun, and that gun, those guns all carry advanced intar rounds, created by my Sarah's father. It was loaded with intar rounds, so no Charlie dying means no suicide mission, no half the team being murdered. And certainly no Sha're and Skaara being taken, just a naquada drop off, as we do our delivery. We do our delivery, we're like everyone else here." he said and they all went white in fear then.
"As they never heard of Earth, because we never challenged them, we made friends with the Jaffa of the quintet or sextet. So we become like the Tollan, more advanced, stretching out, letting the animals roam free now. There is no war, only peace and prosperity, no more wars, no more fighting, Earth is saved, in 1991. When leading into when Apophis's Successor makes his appearance, the only war is the war with the renegades, but no Chulak now finally here."
"But our Charlie never got turned into a host, as it means no Cartego now, as Cartego resulted in Teal'C meeting me, Teal'C pretending to be a double agent. Living happily on earth, Drey'auc now, she's perfectly happy, Ry'ac knew his father is a Starfleet. He wants to be a Starfleet, there is no NID, no military intelligence, no corrupt senators and certainly now. No realism, but all saving the earth via erasing everything polluting it." he said and they broke out in a sweat.
"So no Cartego, means no meeting on Chulak, and no Charlie getting turned into a host, via larva goa'uld, no delaying to the last minute, means when they get on board. We can grab Skaara, and disable the shields, no return mission back to Abydos, means no harsesis. No Harsesis means no attack at my apartment." he said and she started shaking violently in fear then, now realizing what they decided made him decide to erase them from existence now.
As his wording made clear no them meant no accidents, no waiting till the last minute, Teal'C as first prime does not exist, and everything that came with it, never existed at all. "But Apophis never, through Teal'C, killed dad or the others, Siler, Walter Graham, Bill Maggie and others that I saw as friends, or were my family here at the time. As Charlie, Rick, Dave, Alex and Michael survived, but they killed Jack on that mission, the 7 of us survived and Charlie got us back."
"You're dead after trying to catch Apophis on Gaea, there is no SGC in this reality, we're totally liberal and honest about the job, there is no NID and corrupt military and government." he said and she and Jack started violently shaking in fear, knowing they finally done it now there. He was creating a reality, where they were all dead, but everyone he loved survived. And they were completely trapped in the hells they brought upon themselves out of their cruel decisions.
"Q, can you imbroaden the ability, make me like you, I can place us into our own little world, alternate reality matching the first one I dropped into but no me, no Teal'C and Bra'tac. And see where that leads to, as no us, Catherine, instead of retiring, I brought her along. That they kept the alpha gate, we had the beta and it's nor till the orbital attack we reveal ourselves. In where there is no NID, no SGC/NID operatives?" Daniel asked and he nodded, as he swung his arm.
And for a second time at him, and he started feeling his powers getting stronger. "Alright stand by now, aside from the show, the SGC ops no longer exist, and the NID are crazed. In jealousy fanatics, suffering a dictating need to control everything, this is going to last 11 months. I'm going to erase things, from the second you recruited me, to after Lou and Charlie gets back. But the quintet killed are all clones, the guys are here, so each one now, lasts 11 to 13 months."
"Between doses, so from now till the next cliffhanger, she doesn't exist, neither does Jack, although they're trying to keep the radio link up and running. But the SGA is in it's world, where we're doing this our way, and they're doing it their way. But our way was the first reality, their way was the second reality that walked in here at the time now." he said and they nodded. "Do that after we find the treasure trove, son." Landry said and they nodded sternly in agreement.
"Agreed, son we get what she decided is too much and beyond cruel in your eyes, or what he decided is, but there is need to kill any of them. Just separate the realities, the one currently has things as they are now, the other the utopia you're creating. God granted you powers to change the way things are, but you're not a god, you're not all powerful. You're just righting a wrong, they so cruelly threw upon you as a result of Hathor, let them go in this reality."
"They did this to themselves, they pay the price for it, in the one you're creating now, they've never existed, and neither did the NID, MIS and Kinsey, they never existed as they are now. Because we made it so she never joined the program, though I saved Jacob, Jack he stated in the real military, you lead the team and it became a meet and greet.
