Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: This story is going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
With this chapter now is that they are preparing to settle into their lives on the Enterprise, but from here on in, in to the rest of the story. As there is going to be a severe amount of Carter, Frasier and O'neill bashing, for the rest of the series. As what if there was more to the events of the second season, Hathor and Omac. Then we ever knew, and this story gives the pretense to it, followed by a rigging the proceedings.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 48: The Mission Begins And Permanent Farewells II
"Yeah just like the girl was no match for Sigourney." the captain said with a bemused look at the scene then. "We got to stop doing that or someone's going to mistake us running a headcount, for a baseline search, and shoot to neutralize right now." Hammond said and Daniel nodded then. "And this is why I'm leaving before that does happen, those air shafts are big enough for a teenager, to get through, but a fully grown adult, uh uh."
"You need to get on your arms and legs and it's slowing you down till someone gets the right air shaft, and you get caught." he said and he smiled gently then. "Just like John and Michael had him boxed in, and he should have chosen the one to his right." Stewart said and he nodded. "Exactly, but it's on the home stretch, before he possibly escaped a second time, and it starts all over again, before Brent told him it was ready."
"And he did 3/4's of the ship already in friends, and you guys are the last, as he got all of you at once and done here, which is why he nearly fell asleep in your chair." he said to him and Stewart nodded with a smile gently. "I think he'd been studying your grandson family history way too much here baby, if your grandson was his teacher, he used you for point of reference and after John said he did a detailed research battery."
"On all the past ships named enterprise." she said in response to that remark and Hammond nodded with a chuckle then. "Then we're turning that episode into a cliffhanger, and the first half gets into the search, the second the take down." Stewart said with a chuckle then. "I think she lost her mind completely, her soul and her sanity had been destroyed, the technology only made you more honest, her, she lost her mind entirely here."
"Well her attitude from two years ago was going to come back to haunt her sooner or later, and she never paid attention sooner to the dangers or your lectures." Redford said crossing her arms and Barnes nodded sternly. "Yeah no kidding, but we turn this particular episode, which like your normal habit for quadrilogies in episodes into a movie and it starts gong scene for scene. Throughout Sphere, and I'm going to kill the resident cause for that, if you take my position."
"And after getting blasted into the wall and with a third degree, after getting thrown out of the gate at the time. Two years ago, you're winding up with one too many injuries, and definitely never signed up for this crap right now with these idiots." Alexander said and Sigourney's double nodded in agreement to that then. "As for circumstances now here with this, is if they ever write a fanfiction about this, it's severe bashing of 2 of the 5 main characters."
"And it's that they had their minds destroyed and out of fear, and are trying to have me incarcerated, in seeing that as the only way. Just to protect themselves, from ever walking back into my consort's kingdom a second time." he said sternly then and she started shaking in fear, as he looked at her, as he kept the gun pointed at Jack sternly then. "But let me ask you something, would destroying someone's house appeal to you."
"my scaring someone into giving up what they know, by use of firing a loaded gun. Into their kneecap, is that okay with you, how about killing the system lord that tortured a member of the team?" he asked and she started shaking violently, realizing that's exactly what they turned her into. "So why's my enjoying a healthy retribution against them so wrong?" he asked and she swallowed. "Good question." Barnes said to that sternly.
"Uh let me see here, after they sexually assaulted me, I rebelled against the attempted brainwashing by leading them to Shyla's kingdom. The retaliation was by them by trying to turn Shyla's kingdom on me, and now my retribution here now. Is taking away my knowledge, so you never know, if you go into the Ancient database. Who's who now, Graham, remove the Ancient planet repository from the system."
"Now." he said and she went white and they nodded sternly to that response then. "And rewire the computer system to Cartouche planets only, as the repository. In system is SGA personal property, the SGC has Goa'uld planets, we. As the SGA, have the races planets, so trying to over ride protocols could kill a planet. If it punches a hole through their sun here now, you'd once again be responsible for killing another planet."
"Because you can't leave well enough alone, the gate wasn't meant to be used without a dialling device, that's why in conjunction. And of taking it from the NID, it's used, but your computer system ignores 220 of the 400 feedback signals the gate can emit during any given dialing sequence. It is a fluke that you picked up the buffer one and for that matter, I'm surprised that you even, now, bothered aborting dialing."
"Despite the error, you've ignored error data and bypassed dialing protocols on several occasions to get a lock, your job's to show the risks, not decide to take them. The Ancient database is SGA property here now, you're SGC/NID: my enemy now." he said and she swallowed hard, now realizing what she done, turned them into enemies. "That's right you're enemies now, because of what you did." Fletcher said sternly to that response.
"No, don't say it, the damage is done, and he's right, our arrangements are preventing things here. So if I get blackmailed to resign, it's on you, if they do a McClintock now, and wipe out a planet to test out their weapon." Hammond said sternly and she started shaking in fear to the news then finally. "But this is it exactly, only the we has become now the majority determined to protect the president, the unsuspecting civilians."
"From a group of international terrorists, taking the oath too god damn seriously, and with them a group of crazed fanatics now here. Who, because they never exercised common sense have forced my sons into exile now, in the Southern Pole. And just to save their own buts, as they just did a McClintock." Dillon said sternly then and she paled at that, realizing they were all classifying her as Sutherland's alter ego's persona now.
"Did a McClintock, that's code for my movie, even if we had the serum, they're going to bomb the town, for the perfect weapon?" Hoffman said slowly and he and Daniel nodded sternly. "Yeah I bet that hurts, once we create that satellite system you were going to create, how do they like it, they're in till the home stretch and then we kick them out. Yeah we're doing the same thing, it's only fair." Meyers said sternly and Haden nodded sternly to that opinion.
"Yes and to be honest you're everything I'm becoming in 20 years, as both versions of your skills. But quite frankly, the NID oversees the SGC, well the SGA oversees them both, and I'm level 25. In security clearance, enough to get them convicted." he said and the 8 actors nodded sternly. "That's my movie, when I played Nivens." Sutherland said and he nodded sternly to him. "Ah great, yeah I get it." Barnes said sternly to the news then.
"So what's their level exactly, if you're level 25, and we're using Karate belt colors?" he asked and he explained that, as he kept his eyes on her and she started shaking violently. "They're level 13, I'm 12 up from that, but level 13 is level yellow, Maybourne had the next one up. As yellowish orange, which is 14, I'm brownish black, which is 25, and 26 is you." he said and he nodded. "Dead man walking here." he said sternly to that news then.
"So Selig?" Freeman asked and they nodded. "Oh boy, yeah that's definitely illegal." she said sternly to the news then." Fletcher said sternly and Alexander nodded sternly the. "He's level 25, but he doesn't have access to your security level, but Forever In A Day, paved the way to a better future then anyone knows. There is only one type of people that have the guts to stand up to these guys, whereas Kennedy was petty in the threats."
"Maybourne is a homicidal maniac and going to any means here, to get what he wants and Kinsey sided with him now." he said and she swallowed hard at that remark, now realizing she converted completely, but it was only to protect herself. "You got to be kidding here, that's their game plan, anything you do is you're a murderer, a traitor, the bad guy. Or a megalomaniac and they're trying to get you locked up, to protect themselves here right now."
"Yeah you lost it alright, this is what I missed, before I arrived, after Peter showed up." Barnes said sternly and Haden nodded sternly to him then. "So that's your motive now, everything I do is wrong, you just wanted me incarcerated. As the only means to protect yourself, you never thought that two years ago, two years ago to the date of what?!" he said sternly and she went white in fear shaking, and Hammond nodded in shocked disbelief.
"So two years ago, you agreed totally the bastards are everything they called me, and then now, after you crossed into Shyla's kingdom, you see I'm the crazy one, everything I do in the job, is a waste of time, I'm crazy, dangerous and a megalomaniac?" he said then in anger and she started shaking violently in fear, knowing she was completely screwed. "Yeah, you're screwed alright." Sigourney's double said sternly then.
"Yeah you lost your god damn mind alright, they converted you entirely, the you I know is dead." he growled and she swallowed hard. "Daniel please." she said and he snapped it out then sternly then as they all jerked in shocked disbelief then. As Jack swallowed hard then, realizing what kind of mistake he made, by not leaving it alone. And now he was getting everything he done to him reversed back on himself, and he was taking her with him.
"Should have left well enough alone shouldn't you, and to quote Lawrence, couldn't leave well enough alone could you. You bastard, no you had to push it, well now you're going to pay." he said and she went white in fear then. "Black ops, their MIS training, is like being indoctrinated into Kreese's version of ethics." Daniel said and they all nodded. "Basing this as though Lawrence was the true hero, he was simply brainwashed."
"Till they see their sensei for what he is, and they all drop out. Well Ralph would be considered a little sociopath here, that's you now, your actions as your previous occupation. But I never did anything to you idiots, you followed me into the unknown, and you could have left well enough alone, but you didn't, you pushed the limit, and now you're stuck as half earthling here now. How long here exactly now, in truth."
before you could push the limit till something worse then drugs strikes you, the caveman plague, Kynthia, and the getting turned into a jaffa. I mean really Jack how long exactly, if you would just think outside your damn training. And stop being so damn competitive, let alone just use common sense on missions, they would not. In truth result in the messes you get yourselves into, here's the ending result now."
"And of that, damn it." he snapped and he paled then. "But it's not my fault you never listen to me, you're not a clairvoyant, nor are you an anthropologist. That what exactly, unless it's military related, everything is ignored?" he said and they all paled, as SG-8 also paled, realizing the truth to that and the brass. Both versions crossed their arms. "Yeah they're screwed here, as you added 5 more PH.D's to it." Redford said to that news.
"If you're never going to pay attention or use your common sense, just what the hell is the point, of my being the one to save you from your own stupidity here. You know what, the hell with this, right now, you hear me, the hell with it, we're enemies now, so you got yourselves into this, by not following protocols, you can get yourselves out." he said and they all paled. "You don't mean that!" he said, shaking in fear then.
And he looked at him and he went paled further, realizing he did mean that. "You wanted me to change, I did, only now, I'm you of the SGA, only smarter and better." he said and he went white, in fear at the remark. "To quote the inner thoughts, I'm not de-aging him, to remember him that way, he deserves this, self righteous little bastard, he deserves what I'm about to do here." he said and Jack started shaking in fear at the remark in fear.
And Hammond crossed his arms. "Well I say the same thing, if we get some teenage actor playing you, I'm not going to ignore that, see him as you are now. Not the teenager I remember, when I was 8 years old, you sick SOB." he said sternly and he swallowed. "Yeah they deserve this alright, but use your training on your own team mate, how about. Now, we use our's on you then, you little brat." Peterson said, crossing his arms then
And as Parker gripped his shoulders gently as he looked at the quartet sternly then. "You turned yourselves half earthling, you be the one to fix this, as no one else is going to do it for you, and SG-8, let this be a lesson for you. That at times no one else is going to fix things, you want something done right, you got to do it yourselves. So I suggest you start paying attention, starting now, unless you want to end up like them."
"Because my team are no longer around to save you from your own stupidity, not our job." he said and SG-8 all paled at that. "Indeed, it's not the archeology/anthropology team's job to prevent you from making fools of yourselves, you want to prevent this type of crap. Then start paying attention, and exercise common sense on missions, before you get the entire thing." Hammond said sternly and they swallowed hard then,
Now realizing they had to change, and change fast, before what happened to the quartet, said happened to them as Teal'C, Patterson, Judson and Morrison moved behind Daniel sternly then. "If that's not knuckling down harder on the jock headed flyboys and marines, acting like idiots in class, and nothing is, as you're right, nobody is going to save them. And from their own stupidity, as it's not your job to prevent them from making fools."
"And of themselves, as they should exercise more common sense, though I'm willing to bet the duplication, in your droids case. It erased this from their body, along with Hathor." Addison said and Hammond nodded to that. "And I'm willing to bet that to you, that's better then the alternative, but no, as you made clear how xenophobic you are, we're not allowing Androids to be working on this base." he said and they all went white.
Now realizing they would have preferred to be robots to being trapped and as half earthling right now, being treated like they tried to use Teal'C and Charlie as guinea pigs. "Well my how the tables have turned, how does it feel, rat." Daniel said and they swallowed hard then. "Agreed, treating you like a lab rat, how does it feel now, Charlie, Teal'C, now how about you exactly, as we experiment on you, like a lab rat, you're trapped now."
"But better us, then some character trying to extend his own life and at the expense of your's. But there it is, being that cruel to him, here's your comeuppance gentlemen, you're stuck like this. Till you figure out how to fix yourselves, as he's not here to prevent it from expanding." Haden said and they gulped. "Like the bible says, do unto others, as they would do unto you." Barnes said sternly and Parker nodded sternly in agreement then.
"Let's go guys, as they all believe the lies of Jolinar, let them figure out how to turn themselves back, as I'm not at the beck and call of the U.S. Marines and Air Force. They got themselves into this, let them get themselves out, but archeology and system lord knowledge removed. We're of better use where someone actually uses our knowledge then furthered war." Daniel said and the quartet nodded in agreement sternly.
"Agreed." they all said together and Sam swallowed hard at that remark then. "Translation: I'm doing what's best for me, and to hell with corrupt military officers and politicians, they're not stopping me from leaving. That they want to kill themselves, let them, I'm not at their beck and call, I'm of better use. When in my real job, doing as I'm trained to do, not what I been doing the last 3 years now." Anna said and the brass nodded.
"Agreed here, we need your anthropology and archeology skills, not translation." Haden said to that then gently. "Like I said here, you're always doing what's best for everyone else, never best for you, and it's time you did what's best for you, and what's best for you. Is to leave the Air Force and switch branches, start a new a life." Stewart said and the sextet nodded. "Nice throw back, son." Davidson said gently and he nodded then.
"Nice way to throw it in their face son, they got themselves into this, by ignoring our rules, then they can get themselves out. Not your job to save them from their own stupidity." Henderson said and she started shaking. "She's looking for any alternative that doesn't involved the technology, well that's ironic." Sigourney said, nodding in understanding then. "So what now young lady, can you think up another way to fix, as you know."
"There is only one way. But the way is by what you did to him, so take one for the team, and face the pain of a sarcophagus come down." Carson said sternly and she started shaking violently in fear, as she didn't want to do that, she didn't want to face the pain of a sarcophagus withdrawal. "And you say you're stronger than a civilian, cowards!" Daniel said and she went white in fear. "Ooh, good catch there." Paxton said smiling sternly then.
"What was it you said Colonel, there are no cowards on SG-1?" he said and he went white in fear, realizing they were scared to death of the withdrawal from a sarcophagus. But Daniel hadn't been screaming in pain, been keeping his mouth shut, he wasn't afraid of the pain. "There's the good thing about traveling back in time, you get the intel from the real experts now." he said and Paxton and Goldstein's double's started laughing as Sigourney's smiled.
"So afraid of a little pain from the sarcophagus, there's a way to make the pain stop. Sunlight, so go upstairs, after repeated use, and get plenty of sun now." He said and the duo started shaking and this time in unbridled fury, as he effectively showed once again. That he could resist everything they could and not give in, even without the training. And to the brass, is he was a gifted soldier, even without the training to resist interrogation he could handle it.
"Uh let's see here, they're traitors, general, they're going to sell us out, he just tried to kill himself two years ago. Again, they went into an anthropology mission, without absolutely no training and for this type of thing. I heard his remark, the 'Roswell' comment was sincere." he said, saying every remark back. "That wasn't faked, he really had blood all over his arm, when I came to last night, dad." he said repeating it all then.
And they lifted their heads, before Carson grabbed his wrist and they saw another line there. "Cut your wrist, when slashing his, did we?" he asked him sternly and he started shaking in fear. "As I said you're crazy, dangerous, out of control and a loose cannon, and you took her with you. But you're being committed for 10 months here." he said sternly to him and he swallowed hard. "Yeah dead man walking here." Beihn's double said to that smiling.
"And no, Colonel, once the 10 months are over, he's not coming back, he's been reassigned, you little brat, you're confined to quarters." he said and they went white. "So they're under house arrest in 15 months." Hope's said and and Daniel nodded then. "Yeah Danny, I think you got them, once again you show you're better then they are. You're not afraid of the treatment and they're pissed you outstaged them once again."
"In showing once again now, in truth, they're everything you been saying, since Hathor." Hammond said and they all went pale in shock, in hearing their words reversed back on them, and they had taken Sam and Johnson with them. And were scared to death of Daniel's job. "Well I'm not, after seeing him in action." Dixon said, and Apone nodded, knowing what he meant. "You're not afraid of Dan's anthropology skills?" he said and he shook his head then.
"Take one for the team in being the one that goes first, or is it with the fact what Jolinar put in your head, the reason you're afraid. It's in your power to make this stop and change back, so just use the damn thing." he said and they swallowed hard, realizing he was taunting them now, that was the only cure, but they didn't want the cure now. "Expect trouble, if we walk into another one, said one another hotzone." he said and the team nodded.
"Dr. Daniels is actually what Uncle Dave is like, but get infected, it's with a fever that high, it's trying to keep him awake, before the high temperature fries a few dozen brain cells." he said and they all nodded. "Not that I blame him for being pissed, that's beyond reckless, they had it all time right now, and this could have been prevented, if they did the smart thing. And dished out, before it killed 1/4 of the town, this is illegal." Sigourney's said sternly to that news then.
"Again I'm not going to do anything to save your asses here now, there is only one way to do that, last year's little issue, after Pyrus told me the god damn truth." he said and they all went white in fear. "But you did this to yourselves, you change yourselves back, because after two years of crap here from you, I'm not lifting a god damn finger. Just to save you from your own damn stupidity Colonel, you did this to yourselves."
"You fix this, because I quit here right now, so it's a choice between the sarcophagus, or stuck like this for life, Shyla, was just for me, but sarcophagi are for royalty and engaged to only, as you're neither here now. That leaves only one option here: the Tok'ra." he said and Jack started shaking violently in fear at that. "But here's the point, the 9 or 10, is really 27 to 30, you need a broken one to get that level, and her's was."
"But in a working one it takes below 50 to undo this." he said and they all went white in fear. "Now that's ironic, a broken one speeds up the healing, and the genetic tampering, but a normal one, they have to use it to your level, to get it fixed now." Fletcher said sternly and Barnes nodded in agreement "But considering you all believe everything that Jolinar said, through Carter, now what, as the medical department all believe my research.
"And the question/answer questionnaire from Pyrus, what now exactly, you four basically destroyed yourselves. And because you think everything she said was right at the time, Jolinar is possibly here. The ex minor to a renegade, though that's true here now, her knowledge can't be trusted, when we can trust Selmak, Areanea, Anise and Lantash, on their knowledge of the technology, they're genuine, Jolinar's not."
"Now?" he asked and she swallowed hard, realizing that was the only option, but she effectively. Now screwed up any chance of them changing themselves back, based on the Tok'ra point of view. As he came to a decision, knowing what he was doing, was actually a better version then. And of a biological weapon, only without killing someone, and not when he was partial medical doctor. "Yeah now you get it, no hope, no choice." Peterson said sternly to that.
As he smiled sternly and the quartet started shaking, realizing that look on his face meant they were about to become an endangered species, as black ops soldiers. Involved with military intelligence networks. 'Uh oh, yeah I know that look, he's gone to something that does the job as effectively as hemorrhagic fever, just without the bloodshed here.' they heard with a bemused smile, as Dr. Parker exchanged looks with Dr. Matheson as she said it.
"Baby, what are you thinking here?" Adam's wife asked him then and he smiled then. "I think this solves your bio warfare problems, only without the hemorrhagic fever, Aunt Jane. Only in reverse, kill the corrupt military officers, by it looking like real alcohol." he said and she smiled. "Dad, Uncle Dillon, get them off my project here please, research and development on the sarcophagus technology, all that implies, we need this."
"To insure the entire planet is healthy, but this may not be the same 30 year increment a certain someone mentioned, but so what, his words, only in reverse. We have to be very careful here, because keeping this nosy little twit, involved. In our research project, that it's going to kill someone, these boneheads. Now, are half dead already, after cutting their genomes down 50% right now, so basically this now."
"Said is a perfect weapon, want to eliminate the corrupt officers, we have a perfect bio." he said and the team smiled then and Hoffman started laughing, now seeing he found a perfect way to kill off corrupt military soldiers, and without a shot fired finally. "Taught you a little too well I think son, we're soft science sure, but we could kill you. A hundred times before you can hit the ground. all without touching you, us being virologists."
"And all now, and you just came up with the perfect way to do it and when these guys are all drug addicts." Ford said with an amused smile at that remark then. "Nice thinking kiddo, you just stuck it to them, but after what we had to deal with. If this doesn't do it and nothing ever does, our job is do no harm, not kill off innocent people. For the perfect biological weapon, although soldiers like McClintock, they deserve this."
"All's fair in love and war here now, anyone of these sadistic characters not into the 'be merry', or just quite lust driven?" Daniels said in response and his team started laughing and Hammond smiled. "I figured we'd get to see you again kiddo, been a while." he added and Daniel smiled. "Yeah I missed you to Sam, Casey, Robbie, General." he said and the quartet smiled at him. "Should have seen that coming." Haden said with a chuckle.
And Sam and the duo all paled at that. "I never saw this coming, it's no wonder they call you by name, they know you already, if both teams came here." Alexander said smiling and he nodded. "You know these guys?" she said shaking and he nodded. "The Peterson team are really my parents best friends, but Army and Air Force medical work as one. Directly after you broke containment, they heard the entire call." he said and they went white then.
"No kidding, and where the hell is your common sense hmm, so what is this, unless it involved military intelligence, it's worthless. That it young man, unless it involves military technology, military intelligence, it's ignored. Do you know what he meant exactly, in value the science and culture value?" Daniels said sternly then, looking at him then with a firm look and Jack started shaking in fear, realizing what kind of mistake he made,
As quite the connection, when in the medical department was now a gross understatement, he knew the entire team. And with them their boss, who was looking at him, the way Dillon was, and he and Makepeace swallowed. "You boneheads really should have left well enough alone now." Matthews's double said sternly to this then and Barnes nodded. "What it means is working with the people, gathering what could be useful if not military technology."
"Accepting hospitality where given and watching for could be dangerous, with your refusal to let him do his job, there it is." he said sternly and they went pale in fear. "There's no charter here for this, Colonel Jackson got reassigned here, end of story, but I think it would do him good to get away from you, permanently. And quite frankly, none of us give a damn you think it's classified or not, you're not the ones."
"And in charge, but SGA are, they oversee both you and NID, because they're the entire global state department." he said and they all went white in fear, realizing that over ruled the state department, as the Geneva convention then finally. "But you sound the reluctant bastards I became, before I decided enough was enough, and this was straining my relationship with the trio, till I decided screw my loyalty to McClintock."
"I got off easy by giving Sam enough time to find the blasted host, before telling him. How to stop the bombing, by his being directly over the target zone, but I'm a medical doctor. My oath was do no harm, but knowing type of sadistic bastards you are, I called enough, but enough is enough. But let me explain this, Jared was no older then Danny, when I saw him, but I see the love for his job, Jared is a virologist version."
