Chapter 4 The Room Of Requirement
I left Professor Snape's office and back into the common room to find that Regulus and Tom are the only ones left in the common room. "What did professor Snape want?" Tom asks
"He wanted answers to the thoughts he read in my mind, after getting him to promise on his magic to not tell anyone I told him about me being reincarnated and what Dumbledore did to me, he gave me an occlumency book and he told me that he would teach me occlumency every Sunday after dinner" I answer I made my way to my dorm room, Okay Slytherin's dorm rooms at least for girls is different from Gryffindor, it seems that there are a mix of single dorm rooms and a couple of dorm rooms for multiple girls. I'm so glad I get one of the single dorm rooms. I sit on the chair by the desk and I start reading the book Professor Snape gave me.
I decided to start with building a mental palace, I get the foundation for the mental palace in place. I change into pyjamas and I try to fall asleep. I jolt up a few minutes later I exhale through my mouth I had a hunch I wouldn't be able to sleep, I'm too used to sharing a room with Tom I snap out of my thoughts when I hear the door open I see Tom enter the room "Hey Tom can't sleep either?" I voice
"I can't sleep, I got a room to myself, and I'm not used to a room being so silent. Would you mind if I try to fall asleep here with you may be that way we will be able to get some sleep" Tom asks
"That is why I can't sleep either and I don't mind," I say Tom climbs into bed and this time we manage to fall asleep.
It's 7:20 am the next day and we have woken up and Tom went back to his room. I got dressed in the school uniform and I make my way into the Slytherin common room where I wait for my friends to come down. It didn't take long for my friends to come down into the common room.
"Morning Regulus how did you sleep?" I greet
"I slept well thankfully I was placed in a dorm room with one other boy, Arietta, Tom" Regulus replies
"I had difficulties in getting to sleep for a while but I eventually managed to drift off to sleep. Hopefully, it will get easier here on out" I answer
"I had the same trouble as Arietta but I managed to drift off" Tom replies we leave the common room together and we head to the great hall chatting quietly about what subject we are looking forward to.
We enter the great hall to see that apart from us only Orion and Alexander are the only other ones up. Instead of sitting at the Slytherin table, we sit next to Orion and Alexander.
"Morning Orion, Alexander how did you sleep?" I greet
"I slept Alright" Alexander comments
"I slept ok, what about you three?" Orion replies
"I slept well," Regulus says
"I had difficulties but I got to sleep eventually" Tom answers
"I slept as well as Tom" I voice we chat about various topics while we eat breakfast.
"Twenty points to Ravenclaw and Slytherin for inter-house relationships" Professor Flitwick voices and hands the Ravenclaw timetable to Orion and Alexander
Professor Snape walks up to the table and hands out the Slytherin timetable for first year to Regulus, Tom and I. Below is my first-year timetable.

"Looks like we share History of magic, Charms, Transfiguration and Astronomy" Orion exclaims
"I'm surprised that Dumbledore didn't try to put Slytherin's with Gryffindor's for every class" I murmur
"I'm surprised as well, I had more classes with Gryffindor's than Ravenclaw's and Hufflepuff. I wonder if he was forced to make the timetables fairer" Regulus voices
"He probably was forced to make the timetables fairer, at least its Saturday today and we have today and tomorrow to get ourselves familiar with the castle so we know where the classes are for Monday onwards" Orion comments
"Sunday after dinner don't you have occlumency lessons with Professor Snape?" Tom asks quietly
"Yes I do, when I've finished you guys should decide who will read the occlumency book next" I quietly reply
"Want to explore the castle? See if we can find a place where we can talk in private?" Regulus asks the last part quietly
"Yes, let's explore" I voice when we finished eating we left the Ravenclaw table and the great hall to explore Hogwarts. We started with the location of the potions classroom to get that out of the way and we went from floor to floor in Hogwarts minus the third-floor corridor.
After wandering about for a while we wound up in the room of requirements after walking up and down a corridor three times conversing quietly.
"I had no idea this room existed" Orion mutters
"I'm going to try something, hey Room can we have a place to talk without anyone who is not in the room finding us please" I call out and all of a sudden the room changes to a cosy living area that has the colours of all the houses and the door that leads out of the room vanishes. "Thank you, Room" I call out trying to remain polite to the room that just did what I asked it.
"Looks like we found the place where we can discuss other options with it getting back to Dumb as a door" Regulus comments I snigger at the last part of the comment as did the others but we agreed with that we found we needed.
While the others decided to read our course books for our various lessons I decided to read more of the Occlumency book I had packed into my bag and do more of the exercises the book recommends. Once I had done the exercises in the book I want to I decide to work on my mind palace more.
By the time lunch came around I had finished the layout of my mind palace and from the book's suggestion of building walls around the building before working on the memories and traps. I start playing around with how many walls I want around the building. I settled on having seven walls as that is a magical number. I lay the foundations for the walls around the building leaving a gap between each wall large enough for me to walk through. I put the walls up ensuring that I use the strongest material known to the world I place gates in the walls when they are up also made of the strongest material known to the world, not in the same position in each wall I place the gates in a random position in each wall so it is not easy for someone to make their way through.
After we ate lunch we walk through Hogwarts ensuring that we know the location to our Hogwarts classes. The rest of the day we spent trying to work out how we can get rid of Dumbledore.
"I don't think that we can make a good decision on what to do about Dumbdoor right now, we should wait for more information to decide on what to do" I voice
"Arietta's right, it's the best thing to do right now is to wait, no what should we do about Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger who appear to be trying to get Arietta alone for some reason" Regulus states
"They haven't done anything right now, if they do anything then we can work out a retaliation to them but for now we should keep an eye on them" Alexander says
"We should remind ourselves what we know about Dumbledore" Tom says
"I have told you guys about what Dumbledore would do if I wasn't reincarnated" say
"We know he is hiding something in the third floor corridor, and that he was not happy with where Arietta was placed" Orion states
"We know that Professor McGonagall is firmly on Dumbledore's side and wouldn't believe anything negative about him" Regulus voices
"We are going to need a lot of information on Dumbdoor to make an informed decision on what to do with him" Alexander says
"We have a few hours before we need to go to Dinner, let's work on our skills or whatever we want to work on since we have don't have enough information on Dumbledore" Tom says
"Right" I voice I take out my occlumency book out and I start reading it since I have nearly finished the book After finishing the book I can work on the practices while one of the others read the book, I thought that it would take me longer to finish this book as this isn't as thick as I thought a book on this would be
Half an hour passes by and I close the book after reading the last page in the book. "I've finished reading the book, who wants to read it next?" I ask
"That didn't take you long to finish reading that book" Tom comments
"I think it only covers the basics of Occlumency but it gives enough where you can build on it without having to revisit the book" I respond and after letting that sink in for a couple minutes then I continue "Now who wants to read it next?"
"I would like to go next" Orion speaks
"Might be best for you and Alexander to read the book next and Arietta can make it look like she hasn't finished reading it yet without Professor Snape from learning that you finished the book and are giving it to us to read" Regulus comments
"That is smart and it is how we should go about the book" I voice
"Then that is the plan then, we still some hours till lunch let's read or work on our skills" Tom says I close my eyes heading to my mind palace and I started working out what kind of traps I want to use in each space between the walls I know I definitely want the level of traps to be varying difficulty but what the lowest difficulty should be and what the highest difficulty should be? I know that I'm going to have the highest level in front of the door to the building.
I spent an hour deciding on what the highest level of difficulty and what the lowest level of difficulty should be and then all the levels in between the highest and the lowest. Now I have that decided the level of difficulty I now need to decide the type of traps and where they should be placed around the space between the mind palace and the walls I spend another hour working out what kind of traps I want to use as well as where I want to place the traps surrounding the mind palace and the walls.
The last hour remaining I spend placing the traps around the pace in front of the first wall taking time to ensure that the traps are laid out properly. I'm very happy with the progress I've made.
