SwiftAuditore: Hey Swifters, welcome back to second chance where Arietta, Tom, Regulus, Orion and Alexander get this year's timetable, explore the castle and find the ROR. This chapter is shorter than the previous chapters as this chapter came to a natural stopping point when I was thinking on how I could add more to this chapter without forcing it.

Chapter 5 Plotting in the Room Of Requirements
It's the next day and I am sitting in the Room of Requirements with Tom and Regulus, we've finished breakfast. I am browsing through the bookshelves in the room when moaning Myrtle enters the room. She puts a finger to her lips, we keep silent she comes over to me and points to an inconspicuous looking book, I pick it up which doesn't have anything on the front or back of the book. She leaves once I have done that. "Interesting, I wonder why she wanted you to pick that book up. It doesn't look like much" Tom comments I open the book and I glance at the first page then I flick through the book.
"This book will be very useful to help us make an informed decision on what we should do with Dumbledore" I voice
"Why don't you read it first as you are holding the book then pass it along when you have finished reading it?" Regulus suggests
"Sounds like a plan" I agree I sit down in the chair, open the book and start reading the contents of the book. The first page is dedicated to how a Horcrux is made, after reading that whole page I turn over then I stop and I take a few deep breaths in an attempt to stop myself from vomiting from learning too much on such horrible magic I didn't want to know anything about other than it is horrendously evil magic I want nothing to do with the evil magic. The next few pages are correspondences with Grindelwald about the deathly hallows, the legend of the deathly hallows and their theories about what it would mean if all three are together. The next page lists an address on it and directions as to how to get to the place. The rest of the pages are diary entries it appears it lists how many Horcrux's Dumbledore made, what they are, and where they are. The one who took me from my biological parents of this life created Horcrux's what?! I had to reread the last few pages of the book just to ensure I didn't misread the pages.
I hand the book to Regulus and he starts reading it and I am just sitting in the chair processing what I've just read. I see Regulus trying not to lose his breakfast. Alexander and Orion enter the room and sit down on a chair T0m is filling them in on what happened before they came into the room. When Regulus finished he handed the book to Tom. I can tell that Regulus is processing the information as well. After Tom has finished reading the book he hands it to Orion and Alexander is the last to read the book.
"Ok now that we have all read that book and processed the information, how do we use that information to deal with Dumbledore?" Alexander says
"Whatever we decide to do with the information we need to be careful and look at all the possibilities that could come from every option we put forth. We can't afford to make a mistake and not be able to deal with Dum as a door" I voice
"True, we need to find out how to permanently get rid of his Horcrux. I think we should store the information for now and gather more information on Dumbledore that he doesn't want people to know about until we find out how to permanently get rid of his Horcrux. We should find out how many he has" Tom voices
"When we get enough information on Dumbledore that he doesn't want anyone to know we could leak the information to the daily prophet. In the meantime, we can prank Dumb as a door" Alexander suggests
"I like that idea, we should go with that. Also, we do need to learn how many Horcrux Dumb Dum has made as well as how to permanently get rid of them like Tom said" Regulus voices
"In the future, we should ruin Dumbledore's reputation with leaking information to the daily prophet when we get more dirt on him. I like pranking him. What pranks should we pull on him?" Orion voices
"We could bewitch Dumbledore's food to make him turn into an old chubby goat" I suggested
"I'm in total agreement with that idea, we should try to make it last for a week. We would need to research how to do it but we should do this prank on Dumbledore" Tom exclaims
"I agree with that" Orion voices
"As am I," Regulus says
"So do I, now what over pranks should we do?" Alexander asks
"Before we got to Hogwarts I bought some mundane supplies and I brought them with me I figured we could pull some pranks here with them to see if magic affects them" Regulus voices
"What did you get?" Tom asks
"I have slinkies, super glue, post-it notes, saran wrap, tin foil, loads of llama slippers and tape" Regulus answers
"We can do so many pranks with them, I'm curious what the reactions will be for those who don't know anything about the mundane world" I voice
"I wonder if we could soak the Slinkies in something to make them stick to the moving stairs and get them to spell out words" Alexander comments
"We'll have to look into that" Orion exclaims
"If we work on getting on the good side of the house elves we could do more pranks in the future. We could use the saran wrap and tape to block all the entrances to the great hall though the only thing with that suggestion is that we need to figure out how we can put the seal to the last wall to the last entrance without being stuck in the great hall" I propose
"Wonderful suggestion, we should do it once we have worked that out" Tom agrees we think on how to solve the only issue with the prank I suggested.
"We could ask peeves to put tape on the last wall to the last entrance" Regulus points out
"All we'd have to do then is to get Peeves on our side and explain how to put the tape on the wall" I comment
"With that prank sorted we need to work out how we are going to get more information on Dumbledore" Alexander points out
"Good point, that's going to be hard, he is not going to just leave information about him lying around for us to find" Orion voices
"I have an idea, I'm going to try right now" I voice as an idea hits "Can I have information on Dumbledore?" I call out to the room of requirements before any of the others can say anything a book appears from thin air, the title of the book is some of the truths about Albus Dumbledore. "That is quite handy" I comment
"Yes, that is very handy, who will read it first?" Orion agrees
"How about Alexander reads it first since I was the first to read the book Myrtle pulled out for us" I suggest
"Good idea so we go in the reverse order of the order we read the book Myrtle pulled out for us," Tom says with that decided Alexander picks the book up and starts to read the contents of the book.
Everyone takes turns reading the contents of the book and now it is my turn. On opening the book it opens to a correspondence letter from Dumbledore and addressed to Grindelwald regarding a topic called greater good. I can't help but to scoff at that, I turn to the next page which is correspondence from Grindelwald and to Dumbledore answering Dumbledore's topic about 'greater good'
The entire book is a collection of correspondences from Dumbledore to Grindelwald and vice versa about various topics as well as about their relationship with each other. I had worked out that Dumbledore was gay and one of the correspondence confirms it though that itself wouldn't affect Dumbledore the fact that he had a romantic relationship with Grindelwald one of the past Dark Lords will affect Dumbledore
"Wow, these correspondences are interesting. The fact that there is actual proof that Dumbledore had a romantic relationship with Grindelwald will affect his reputation negatively as I doubt people know about that. There's a good amount of information we can use against Dumbledore" I voice after I close the book and I place it on the table.
"Yep it is very interesting, we need to store that book and the book Myrtle brought to our attention together in a safe place Dumb as a door won't find them while we are gathering evidence to use against Dumb as a door" Regulus states
"Any suggestions for how to get on the good side of Peeves?" Alexander asks
SwiftAuditore: If anyone reading this has any suggestions for how they could get on the good side of Peeves could you please mention some in reviews.
