Chapter 7 First day of classes

Alexander, Orion, Tom, Regulus and I have just arrived at the doors to the great hall and the hall is crowded with students and professors alike, it appears that they are unable to remove the Saran Wrap, they're trying all sorts of spells. I'm glad we had the foresight to add protective spells to the Saran wrap just so the cutting spells won't work but I don't think those spells have occurred to the professors

I exchange a subtle nod to Alexander, Orion, Regulus and Tom as discretely as I can and out of the corner of my eyes, I see the Weasley twins looking at us with questioning gazes. They are going to come up to us and ask at some point

In the end, we had to go to class without breakfast as they were unable to get undo the prank this is a good first prank, and I wonder how the others will go when we pull them off We are currently in our history of magic class and trying not to fall asleep to Professor Binns going off about the goblin wars by focusing on taking notes even though some are already asleep Will have to make sure to do my research of wizarding history separately if after a while he is still covering the goblin wars, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt this once I see Orion, Alexander, Regulus and Tom trying to do the same thing as me.

After class was finished Tom, Regulus and I split up with Orion and Alexander to go to our next class for Regulus, Tom and I it's potions and we make our way there talking about various topics. We enter the potions classroom and sit down in the middle row in the middle section of the room.

"There will be no foolish wand-waving or silly incantations in this class" Snape informs opening the door and striding to the front "As such I don't expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science and exact art that is potion-making however for those select few" Snape continued and looks at Draco, me, Tom and Regulus "who possess the predisposition I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and snare the senses I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory and even put a stopper in death" Snape continued "Miss Potter tell me what would I get I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?" Snake asked

"if you added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood you get a sleeping potion called the draught of the living death" I answer

"Correct 10 points to Slytherin" Snape voices "Mr Black where would you look at if I asked you to find me a bezoar?" Snape questioned

"I would look in the stomach of a goat" Regulus answers

"Correct 10 points to Slytherin" Snape announced "Mr Weasley what is the difference between monkshood and wolfbane?" Snape asked

"I don't know, why don't you ask the one waving her hand I think she knows" Ron voiced

"Didn't bother opening a book, twenty points from Gryffindor" Snape sneered aside from several cauldrons boiling over or one erupting I don't want to know what he did to cause it to erupt like that the rest of the potion lesson goes smoothly.

We met back up with the rest of our group for our next lesson which is charms. When we got to the classroom we went into the room and sat together.

The lesson started with Professor Flitwick giving an opening speech about charms and he showed us wand movements for a spell we will be learning which the movement was swish and flick, then we practised the incantation after a few minutes passed which is wingardium leviosa. The rest of the class covered the Wingardium leviosa spell, and my friends and a few other people in our class managed to lift a feather into the air.

It's lunchtime right now and we are making our way to the great hall where it appears they are still trying to remove the Saran Wrap, no progress seems to have done. Professor McGonagall turns around to face us, students, "Until this has been solved you all will be having your meals in your common rooms" She informed

We had lunch in our common rooms and then made our way to our next herbology class. Nothing interesting happened during the class it was basically an opening speech covering what we will be learning in this class in the future.

We met back up with the rest of our group for our last class before dinner which is transfiguration. To summarise the lesson, it was an intro to what we will be learning in this class and about transfiguration in general. Aside from Ron and a Gryffindor student arriving late and getting a detention for it, other than that not much happened.

It is now dinner time and we have met up back with the rest of the group we arrive at the entrance to the great hall in time to watch as they ask a ghost who happens to be the Gryffindor ghost to help them solve our prank. That sure took them longer to figure that out than I thought it would I wonder if we could make our next prank harder for them to solve than just asking one of the ghosts to help them I sit with every one of my group at the Slytherin table and we chat about the prank while not giving away that we were the ones to cause it as well as about the lessons we had and our thoughts on them.

"Weasley Twins did you do the prank this morning?" Professor McGonagall Inquires

"We did not but-" Fred starts

"if we did know who-" George continued

"created this amazing prank-" Fred continued

"We would bow down and beg them-" George continued

"to teach us" Fred finished everyone chuckled at their antics aside from the teachers Professor McGonagall looks irritated
