Thanks and hope you enjoy.
Harry had told her just this morning that Dragons were the first challenge so she went to Ron to ask him if he knew that Charlie was at Hogwarts. Maybe he could ask questions about what the hell they were supposed to do with the dragons. That had gone poorly not only did he not know Charlie was here the moment she tried to talk about Harry he got all angry and sulky. She thought about just leaving to go to the library to see what books she could find helpful but she hadn't had much time to hang out with Ron what with him avoiding Harry and what not so she decided to spend a couple of hours talking and helping go over his homework with him.
He made a couple of jokes about how she had the right idea of getting the hell out of deviations class. She listened to him talk about how Sean and Dean had stalked Krum and found out that he went swimming every morning in the great lake, and he listened to her complain that she wished he would spend more time there instead of in the library. When she said she was going to head to the library that day before dinner Ron decided he would join she rolled her eyes and gave him a bit of a playful shove as they headed there.
Draco felt proud he had spent all night working on making Potter stinks badges and people were eating them up everywhere you went people were wearing them he roped a couple of others to help him make them after he had given all the ones he made amongst the Slytherins. He was almost jumping in excitement waiting for Potter to show up to potions Snape was nowhere so he and everyone else waited outside.
When he saw Potter with Granger he pushed his chest out the rest of the Slytherins followed suit. He offered one to Granger seeing as she had given him the idea. He held it out telling her not to touch him saying he had just washed his hands and didn't want to dirty them. Then Potter and Weasly went off for no reason the three of them exchanged a few jinxes before stray jinxes hit Granger. He lowered his wand feeling a wave of worry rip through him he took a step towards her but stopped.
Weasly was by her side begging her to let down her hand and show him. He went through the list of spells he cast none of them would have caused any real pain so it must have been the two idiots' spells that hurt her. Potter glared at him like he had any right this was his fault. Potter and Weasly were the ones who attacked him. He was going to tell them to stop acting like idiots when Snape appeared asking what had happened.
Hermione and Ron ran to the champion tent Harry finished and passed the first task with flying colors. The moment she entered and saw him she threw herself at him forgetting about his injury he hissed and she let go like he was still on fire. Madame pompreir gave a scolding look before rechecking her work and heading behind one of the other screens to check on one of the other champions. She started fussing over him again when Ron cleared his throat to apologize for being such a prate but Harry just raised his hand and told him it was fine.
Ron smiled and bust out on how amazing he was and told him about the other champions. A few days had passed since then and things had gotten much better people weren't giving Harry such a hard time and even cheering him on. Ron was back with them her stress leaves had dropped such a heavy amount that even Malfoy's glare burning a hole in her head wasn't bothering her as much as it would have.
He had been glaring at her because she has been avoiding him not answering his notes and not going anywhere near their closet. She was pissed at him he had called her a mudblood down in the dungeons and when Harry and Ron tried to stand up for her one of his spells hit her and made her teeth grow down over her chin. He even laughed with everyone else when Snape said he didn't see any difference.
In truth, she was a little glad because she was able to get rid of her buckteeth when Madame pomfrey was fixing her up and she had to admit she did look better without them. She hated that she felt insecure about them and she made sure to never show it but that didn't stop the feeling of embarrassment that crept up on her whenever someone choose to point them out. It was the mudblood part she couldn't forgive as far as she knew he hadn't called her one all year she thought that they had some kind of understanding of well not friendship or anything close but that they were civil toward one another.
She had come to terms that she felt attracted to him and liked the things he did to her and how he reacted to the things she did to him. She liked learning things and this kind of subject was hard to learn without a partner and Malfoy was perfect for this because she knew he would never tell anyone. But not after he had gone back to calling her a mudblood , the git. She had been studying in the common room but after Harry's victory, it had gotten rather load so she went back to spending time in the library Krum and his fans still hung out there but now there was a head of blond hair sitting at Krum's table. She gave a huff at how the place she loved was filled with people who annoyed her.
She was able to get a little work done but not nearly as much as she wanted Malfoy had left almost an hour ago and she thought about going to talk to him to properly put an end to their arrangement. She cleaned up and headed down to the great hall she would talk to him after dinner. She was worried about getting his attention to signal to meet her but that faded when halfway through she looked up and again saw him glaring at her. She locked eyes with him and nodded her head to the side. He didn't give any evidence that he had understood or that he would follow but she gathered her stuff telling Ginny that she was done and heading up to her room. She hurried to the closet as soon as she was out of the great hall.
