It had been a few weeks since she and Draco said I love you. Although they were now dating they both agreed it would be best to keep it quiet. She was thinking she would ease the information on her loved ones through the rest of the school year and summer, for now, they just knew that she was dating someone in Slytherin.
Harry already knew this much Ginny was very surprised and after the shock wore off would name off random Slytherins to try and guess who it was she was dating. Nevil was also surprised but just shrugged saying he hoped the guy was nice. Luna just smiled saying she was glad and mentioned something about going to go and find a Diricawl bird so she could give her a feather, Ron was really the only real problem at first he was kind of angry and agitated about it then after arguing with Ginny for a while he kind of just started ignoring the fact that she was dating someone. Anytime Ginny would talk about her mystery boyfriend and he was around he would change the subject.
Her days were filled with her friend's classes and studying her nights were with Draco she spent almost every night with him in his room or the room of requirement well she slept in her room on Mondays and Thursdays, but in truth, she preferred to avoid her room at this time. Lavender blamed her for her and Rons' break up and would give bitchy comments whenever they were in a room together. She was happy they only had two classes together. That aside she was pretty happy her nights with Draco were filled with talking (debate), studying, sex and cuddling until they went to bed. Her latest favorite thing to talk to him about was muggle tech he would roll his eyes but he would ask plenty of follow-up questions. He was very interested in TV though he worked very hard to make it sound like he wasn't interested. Draco had added a bathroom to the study and often suggested they should shower or bath together but she told him that was a treat he had to earn.
Hermione was helping some third-years carry supplies for Hagrid's class. She was a little concerned as to why they needed rope and healing potions but she was glad that Hagrid was taking safety precautions. Hagrid greeted them in his garden. She couldn't help but smile at how much the kids seemed to like and respect Hagrid as a professor after helping them she still had a free period so she figured she would go to the library to catch up on some extra credit.
Before she was able to get there Theo came charging at her grabbing her hand and dragging her with him to an empty corridor. " what the hell Theo?" she huffed moving her hair out of her face and fixing her bag that had swang around her oddly. Theo caught his breath before turning to her looking determined. " Ok, I need you to listen to me till the end ok?" Hermione crossed her arms but nodded.
" Ok so I have an estate in America it was left to me by my mum, but not many know about it, it's up north which I was told means it's mainly winter all year but it's secluded." Theo gripped her shoulders" And well I want you to move there things are way too dangerous around here and I want you to be safe away from all of this." Hermione was shocked.
" you want me to move to America?"
"I want you to be safe and I know you will be safe there it's a really nice manor by a great lake I sent some house elves there before winter break to make sure it was in good condition and to make any necessary changes I even had them make special wards around the property. Your parents can go there to bu" Theo was cut off when Hermione threw her arms around him hugging him. he must have been really shaken up by what happened to Draco, she felt tears running down her cheeks she couldn't help it. After a bit, they pulled away from each other Theo helping her whip her face.
" Theo thank you truly, but I can't leave, Harry and everyone else needs me." Theo opened his mouth to argue but she stopped him. " I know you don't agree but I can't leave. if I'm honest it does scare me but that's why I need to stay. I need to help fight in any way I can." She took his hands in hers " thank you for thinking about my family and me even with everything you've been having to go through, but do you really expect me to leave school before I graduate?" Theo let out a laugh at that.
" don't worry as long as we have Dumbordore at Hawgorts we're safe." Theo didn't look completely convinced but nodded " my offer will always be open if anything changes know that I will help you." He told her seriously.
" thank you Theo I love you." They again hugged Hermione feeling truly blessed and happy "thank you for being my friend she said into his shoulder."
" Thanks for being mine." Hermione pulled away taking a good look at the young man in front of her and furrowed her brow. " what the hell happened to your lips?" Theos lips were horribly chapped and cracked.
"That muggle-flavored chapstick is evil, whenever I applied it I would end up licking it off. It doesn't even taste like oranges but it's tasty I think it's actually made to chap your lips." Hermione burst off laughing as Theo gave an exaggerated pout with his poor damaged lips. They continued to share their moment unaware of a pair of grey eyes watching them.
Hermione sat in the perfect bathroom brewing potions. With everything that had been going on, she had not been making contraception potions. When she had gone into her trunk this morning she noticed she only had two vials left. seeing as she and Draco were together and active again she needed to make sure she had this handy especially since she had noticed that Draco had been a little careless lately not using the spell beforehand. Hermione looked at her watch only an hour until the last Gryffindor game of the year. Ron had been extra nervous for this game because Harry wouldn't be allowed to play serving detention with Snape instead.
She put away her potion supplies and pulled out her Gryffindor pride scarf, hat, and gloves as well as a large stick with a loin head made out of random things complaints of Luna. She left the bathroom and started headed down towards the quidditch pitch she stopped when she saw Harry down the hall walking slowly toward the stairs that led to the dungeon. Although she was still a little angry at him she did hate to see him so dejected. She shook it off and started jogging down to the player's tents Ginny had taken the rails of the team with no Harry and had told her that she would be helping the team prep. She pulled the flap away and saw that the team was already inside bustling around. She got her orders from Ginny and went to work charming the team's uniform and gear. Nothing that would count as cheating just some warming spells to help keep their bodies and muscles warm and loose.
She also made their gear more padded without adding weight. She made sure to cast the charm on Ron's helmet twice he always ended up blocking a ball or two by headbutting it. The horns sounded telling the players to head out to the pitch. Ron looked ready to be sick, poor guy he always got so nervous before a game despite proving plenty of times that he was a good player. She took his hand giving it a squeeze when he looked at her she gave him an encouraging smile. He let out a breath and followed the rest of the team. Hermione followed them out and then headed up into the stands to join Nevil. She found him just before Luna's voice came on overhead.
The party was in full swing they had won and everyone was celebrating. She notched a few of WWW products going off and being used by her housemate but she decided to ignore it this time. But still took note of who had what. She felt her coin buzz in her pocket pulling it out and taking a peak.

Their attention was directed elsewhere when a large cheer broke out Harry had just walked in and everyone was greeting him telling him about the game. Harry though walked right past everyone and went right to Ginny pulling her to him and snogging her for everyone to see. Hermione's jaw dropped, FINALLY, she screamed in her head. She heard Ron choking on his drink and patting his back to try and help. When Ginny and Harry finally broke apart. Harry gave a nervous glance to her and Ron. Hermione gave a thumbs up while Ron just shrugged accepting it. The party continued with everyone enjoying themselves well Dean looked a little sour.
