A/N: Apologies for the super short chapter

Trig is in Italics

Diyoza's smile fell as she defend the small friendship she had with said pilot. "Shaw's conscience can get in the way of his duties. But having a soft side hardly makes him a traitor.

"How about disobeying orders." Echo was quick to counter. "Or giving comfort to the enemy."

"When he told you Raven locked you out of the missile system, he was lying. He did it himself. And I can prove it."

Diyoza thought a moment before grabbing one of her gadgets. After a few moments she put it back into one of her many pockets. "Come with me." Then she looked to one of the guards, "Wake Raven Reyes and bring her to the ship."

Without any further instructions she nodded Echo to follow her and off she went to meet Raven in the ship at the main controls. If Echo was right, then she earned a few points in her book, but wasn't ready to give complete trust just yet.

It didn't take too long of a wait as not much more than a minute that they entered, a guard came in shoving Raven forward. The girl stopped and gave a long look when she noticed Echo was standing alongside Diyoza.

"Echo says you accused my pilot of sabotage." Diyoza started. "That he, not you, locked me out of my missile system."

Echo looked down and away from Raven's hurtful gaze before composing herself and going straight into it. Knowing this might be their one and only chance of getting Monty into their systems. "Tell the colonel what you told me."

Diyoza grew impatient as she told Raven to show her the proof. Raven fixed Echo with one more look, one that didn't go unnoticed and after a few seconds sighed. "Ok."

She walked slowly over to the control panel, taking her time to cast her eyes around and strategize where it would be easiest to get the drive connected. Although this plan already sucked, deep down she knew Echo was right. Having the chance, it was now or almost never.

Echo lingered behind, watching her friend closely. When Raven turned back around. Her eyes flicked to her for the briefest of moments before looking straight to Diyoza, her hand lingering on a certain spot and nonchalantly tapped her finger giving Echo a sign.

"First I have to access the backlogs for the missile systems." Raven started and began typing away. Meanwhile Echo crept over to where Raven had just signaled to her. Glancing down she noticed there was a port that she would be able to insert the drive into.

"Logs can be tampered with on the surface." Raven continued to explain as Echo slowly wiggled the drive into her hand and inserted it into the port. Making sure to stand as close to it as possible to shield it from anyone seeing as the red light turned on initiating the download sequence.

"See? Right here." Raven pointed at the screen showing Diyoza words. "The first layer tells you that the system was shut down manually."

"But it doesn't say who did it." Diyoza accused. "How do I know it wasn't you?"

"Getting there." Raven said continuing to buy them time as the upload from the drive started.

"He covered his tracks, but if you look deep enough..There's always a trail."

Echo stood deadly still as Diyoza glanced back at her before turning her attention back to Raven and all the logs she was pulling up on the screen.

Echo chanced a glance down at the drive and once she saw the drive was lit green, she quickly and carefully unplugged it, stashing it back into her sleeve.

She moved forward and placed her hand on Raven's shoulder, to let her know it was done and almost immediately Raven quit typing to show the name. "See? There it is, the ghost trail." The words MANUAL SHUT DOWN INITIATED BY M. SHAW were shown on screen.

Diyoza stood up straight and looked at the two girls, surprised to see that they were right. Having nothing else to say she walked off, nodding at the guards to take them back to the church.

Once they were back inside Raven went straight to her bed without a word. Echo wanted to say something but let her go. Her own tiredness creeping in and she gently laid down on the bed, making sure not to disturb Griffin who was thankfully passed out. She gently pulled him into her embrace and wrapped her arms around him protectively as she fell into a dreamless sleep.

Morning came all too soon as she woke up to see Raven still laying in bed, glossy eyes staring at the floor. Griffin stretched and noticed as well that she seemed upset so he crawled out of his bed and sat on hers, reaching his hand out for her to take. Gently she put her larger hand into his tiny one and held it.

"It will be okay Aunty Rae." He told her with a smile. Echo had come over with some glasses of water and right as she was about to reach out to Raven the girl quickly stood up. Her eyes now becoming one of anger as she was about to lash out but was stopped short when the front doors flew open and a figure was roughly shoved in.

Everyone looked to see it was Shaw. A collar of his own around his neck. His face bruised and beaten. When his eyes caught hers, he simply glared as he moved past her. No doubt feeling angry and betrayed that she had given him up.

Echo tried once more to provide any sort of apology or comfort to Raven but she whipped around the moment she felt her hand on her shoulder. "Don't Echo." She growled before moving to sit back on her bed. Knowing it was best to give her some space for awhile she went back to her own bed and looked down at Griffin who was silently playing with his bear.

"How you holding up little one?" She asked him moving a piece of curly hair out of his face.

He simply shrugged. "I'm bored."

"I know. Hopefully we won't be in here much longer. Then we can find a nice field to run around and play in huh?"

He smiled up at her nodding. She was beyond proud of her son and how well he had been behaving. He reminded her so much of Bellamy that he was almost his own little man. She missed the others, and hoped they were faring well amongst Wonkru.
