Decedents of legendary warriors Ben Auro and Doug Fitter, Michael Auro and Astra Fitter, now must unite the likes of Rachet & Clank, Sam Porter, MegaMan Volnutt, 2B, Mark "Invincible" Greyson, Tanjiro Kamado, and the other last hero's of the universe to stop the Negaverse from conquering all other universes.

Chapter 280: Code of a Hero Amiss The Rumbling of the Savage Siege!

As much as the berserk fury of Thragg, Omni-Man, and the majority of the Viltrumite race was causing Mike, Astra, and the rest of those on Corneria, if not the whole Bethel Kingdom to feel like their fate was about to be decided, while the stress caused them to forget about the rest of their problems, it did not mean they were not active.

While by some miracle Sieg still had not found out about Mike, Astra, and the rest of their group's survival, it did not mean this entire time he was sitting still, as another universe was on the verge of facing his wrath.

The man with Ben's face casually was strolling past large gates, looked around to see that the entire area around him was covered with large pits of flames and piles of corpses. On the left was a giant head of a skull, and on the right was the image of a woman with a reaper's hood.

He saw waiting for him was a legion of men and woman clad in black knight like outfits. in addition the sky was blocked out by countless flying creatures that looked like the Parademons normally associated as the minions of Darksied. On the walls were many more soliders that all had blue energy bows drawn.

They all had black rings on there fingers and the Sith troopers took out red light sabers before he shrugged." Oh, another take on the Sith Eternal Empire eh? How…dogmatic. Still, I admit I don't see many that are merged with the Quincy Jagdarmee of the Wandenreich though."

The legion of Dark Side users all raised their blades before a gruff voice cut in with," Heh…this guy don't know what a invite is eh boys? Damn it did you leave the door open again Bebop?"

A humanoid boor with a mohawk and a mohawk burped before shrugging." Hey, we don't like rats in our fair city. Did you let him in Rocksteady? Maybe I should just wring your stinkin' neck!"

A humanoid rhino with beige cargo pants next to him burped before he snorted out," Hey he was not on any list!"

"Then guess we have to give him the welcome he deserves!" A new aggressive male voice cut in with.

Sieg saw the voice came from a tall man sporting a real-life 1950s criminals' hairdo. He's nose-less and slightly taller than the average human, his body structure was humanoid and muscular with red skin.

On his right was a more diminutive members of the guard. He had light green skin, red eyes and an tentacle-like hair on his head.

To the right was a woman with a slender and attractive build, wearing a the same black uniform as the rest. Her hairstyle resembled that of a mohawk with her hair length going to her back. She's a humanoid alien with pale skin and magenta eyes. Her hair was pink with a maroon scalp and she had large elf ears.

In front of them was a male with blue skin of the Centaurian race with a red coat and a spike for a head. The man saw Sieg walk in and whistle." Look here boys, guess the Ravangers are going to have fun tonight after all eh? Look boy, I may be as pretty as an angel, but I sure as hell ain't one. So unless you want to see what a pissed off Yondu Udonta does for fun how about wiping that grin off your face?"

The woman giggled before looking at the tall one past Yondu." Oh, he almost looks cute Saganbo, can't we have fun?"

"Cut it out Miza!" The short one cried out." No matter what…if we let anyone walk in unannounced it will be our heads on the pikes!"

"Shimorekka is right Miza." Saganbo uttered." No wise guy is allowed to just walk in like he owns the place! Do you even know where you are asshole?"

"But of course." Sieg confidently replied." My new property."

"Oh that's it!"Yando cried out before he whistled, and the spike on his head flew out and became a Yaka metal cybernetic prosthesis in the shape of a arrow." High time we show this smartass what happens to clowns who try and enter without saying the password!"

Sieg saw dozens of lightsabers be pointed at him, while at the same time the Quincy Jagdarmee archers all had there bows shimmer with energy before Yondu whistled again and the arrow shot at him.

In the blink of the eye he casually caught the arrow in his fingers. He waved his hand, and all of the red energy was ripped out of the soldiers lightsabers and Quincy bows and suddenly drawn to Sieg's hand.

The ruler of the IV&C casually had all the energy go into the arrow he caught before he smirked." I think you all are the ones who need to learn what happens to clowns. After all I have the true password, the only thing that is the real key anywhere, power."

He waved his hand, and the arrow swerved around, and hit Yondu in the gut, and also hit Saganbo before the two were both slammed into the gates. It exploded a second later and vaporized the rest of the soldiers. As body parts rained down Sieg merely shrugged." I guess my reputation was becoming infamous if the opposing armies would rather cause mass suicide.

A shame their leader has them so wound up into fanatical hysteria …they missed out on quite the bargain. But…I suppose there's always their souls."

He was about to walk up till a female laugh that cut in before following up with," Only a fool or a being with the power of god would dare walk into the depths of Apokolips to mock Terraxia…the voice of death! But since you made light of my armies…you're clearly the later."

Sieg saw the massive Gothic castle before him have its gates open, before a woman came out being carried by a dozen skeletons holding her thrown. She came out of the gates with black, purple and gold armor.

She had purple skin, a wrinkled face, and glowing gold eyes. In her hand was a gauntlet with six gems in them, and she had a cape with the symbol of Anti-Life on her back.

She floated above Sige as a group that seemed to be her elite followers, all who had black rings and blotchy skin before the head of the IV&C made a mocking bow." Heh…Thanos the Mad Titan seems to be one who's spawned countless variants across the multiverse…but it's amusing that his wife Terraxia, that normally is just his disposable servant manages to surpass him. You misunderstand me Terraxia…I'm not here to fight you, but to recruit you."

Terraxia raised an eyebrow before she snickered." You and your golden castle vaporizing my fleets around Ryut, Boreth, Amenth, Barian World, and Exegol made your intentions quite clear!

And you talk like you know me, and my spineless coward of a husband Thanos? Demigra…he speaks like that wretch Fu ranting on about time paradox's and the like…is he from that mirror dimension?"

She glanced to the left to a man with pale white skin and spiky red hair who wore a heavenly-blue overcoat with golden details on his upper part of the body and rounded on the arms.

He wore blue boots curling at the end of it and a darker blue in pants and also wore a belt with the letter "D" in the front, a golden tiara and he welded a white staff with a red orb at the top.

This Demigra was looking at his staff before he winced." Empress Terraxia…he does not show up from anywhere in the universal time-stream."

Another one of her servants, a man with long, black hair and two prominent horns that jut down from his forehead but appeared to frame his head. Additionally, he had four horns on his head, two on each side, and one jutting from the back of his head, giving him a total of seven horns.

He rubbed his chin and uttered," This man's clearly confident about himself. After all...never reveal your trump card first, or if you must, make sure you have a second one up your sleeve.

Another member of the" Court" walked up and had the appearance of a young man. He wore black and tan robes with gold trim, along with a large, flowing white toga draped around his torso. He had short black hair, dark eyes, and abnormally sharp canines. He also wore a pendant before he grasped said pennant and smirked."

This man...he reeks's of enough death that a planet could not fit all the corpses. No matter what...he feels like a a front to nature itself. this feeling, could this too be caused by the curse of contradictions...? Or is it my own emotions? I'm not entirely sure. But...trying to ruin the grand ceremony makes you trash. And trash that doesn't even know it's trash deserves to fall into the abyss."

Another very tall, thin, pale young man walked up past Yomi and the other man. He wore numerous long white scarves, encircling his entire neck and a large portion of his head, and upwards of five to six shirts on his body, each of varying style and color.

Even this significant amount of clothing was covered by a further layer; consisting of a red and black pinstriped blazer, as well as an extremely long pair of dark trousers, burying the black shoes worn underneath in a mass of fabric.

He adopted the symbol of three vertical eyes, as he possessed a third eye on his forehead. Not only does each strand of dark hair on his head look like an eye, due to the presence of white markings, but even his pupils featured this same eye-like shape.

This signature eye symbol was tattooed to the backs of each of his hands and the long scarf that encompassed his head was embellished with multiple black images of these vertical eyes, wrapped in a very particular manner so as to display only three at the front.

This man licked his lips before rasping out," Heh, all that really matters Zeref...is what brings this man terror. It feels strange...but that just means it will be fun to see what makes him break out in horror!"

Another male near him, a slim man with pale skin, tinged yellow teeth, and a great deal of wrinkles around his eyes walked up. His lips were chapped and uneven, a small mole on the right underneath, with visible scars on his right eye and under his lip.

He had messy, grayish-blue hair of varying lengths, the longest clumps reaching to about his shoulders, left hanging over his face in uneven waves. His eyes and mouth were usually stretched wide in a rather maniacal manner, their bright red irises very small, and he had fourteen embalmed hands, all positioned so they're holding onto him on different parts of his body.

He itched his face as he saw Sieg before he let out a deranged chuckle." I know what you mean Asura! This guy's smug look reminds me of all the " hero"'s we killed!

One last one crawled out of some rock eh?" Because of you hero's, this weight in my heart is never gonna go away. It's why I hate everything. Every living, breathing thing just rubs me the wrong way. So why not destroy it all? Why not destroy everything? Dragging the last hero to ashes is going to be fun. Something feels different about this guy, and that means it will be even more fun to see him turn to dust!"

Another of her minions…a towering humanoid goat with blue skin and two horns on the sides of his head that curled around to point forward near his cheeks eyed Sieg before he stroked his beard." All to true Tomura. His energy is like nothing I felt in the past Empress, maybe it's from that Anti-Matter realm you created by mistake?"

Sieg snickered before making a beckoning gesture." Oh, I assure you Moro…I'm not a mirror from the likes of that. I give you credit where its due. You have absolute mastery over your universe, and unlike clowns such as Emperor Nefarious it's not just because the universe is weak.

But you let turning your universe into this "Cancerverse", resulting in a population of universe-wide living corpses has caused you to get…narrow in your perspective. I was trying to be diplomatic but your forces are to one note to even conduct negotiations so I had to be…direct.

But now that this meeting is conducted let's get down to business eh? I am Sieg V-Day Elgan, the man who always wins. I'm the ruler of the Infinite Victory and Conquest corporation, an establishment that controls entire universes across the multiverse.

I'm aware you think the multiverse is just "mirrors" of your universe…but I'm here to inform you in your hubris your mistaken about the order of things.

You have the drive to be a profitable employee of mine Terraxia of universe 10011, so for your sake I would hope you're wise enough to see the most profitable outcome of this. I assure you…I'm rarely this generous to go out of my way to scout someone and offer a spot on my high table so quickly."

Terraxia paused for a few moments before she started laughing." You, you look like my waiter Benimaru! It's been so long that I forgot what it means to laugh like this! Sinister…this your attempt at entertaining me for the anniversary of my ascension? Your effort is noted even if it's amounting to borderline heresy."

Sieg saw the pale faced man with a red jewel on his head behind Terraixa winced before muttering," My Empress…I'm sorry you got the wrong impression but this is not my doing. After all Benimaru is right behind you."

Sieg saw someone that looked like him and Ben, but thin to the point of starving, bald and pale white skin, and saw his counterpart in this reality twitch in fear before he sighed." So…that's how it played out in this universe?"

Benimaru cowered at Sieg's look before he bowed." A thousand apologies sir, I, I don't know what I did to displease you."

Sieg wound back his head before his eyes narrowed at hearing his counterpart talk with a slurring sound." Oh even the simpleton you appear to be should not have a hard time grasping it. Every moment I look at a defective eyesore like you it annoys me, thus, there is only one solution."

The owner of IV&C snapped his fingers before his counterpart exploded less then a second later. Benimaru's head rolled over to Sieg, and even severed from its body Benimaur whimpered in fear." Please master I'll do anything to be of service, please give me a chance!"

The bearded man's eye twitched before his eyes glowed golden." Worthless cockroaches have no right to ask anything."

His aura flared up as Sieg casually crushed Benimaru's head. As he used his aura to make sure the remains did not regenerate he shrugged as he saw everyone's shocked looks."What can I say...other then I loath no one more then myself? At least the self that fails to be the best possible version.

I put so much demands on my employees that its only fair I hold myself to the ultimate standards, and insure there is only one thing that people associate me with, that of a winner."

"This joke is getting rather convoluted Sinister."

"Tsc...I assure you…this is far from a cosmic joke…the difference will soon be made clear."

Terraxia narrowed her eyes before making a beckoning gesture." I can only humor so much…your time for confession is running out. After all…why would I need an alliance with anyone when I am master of all?"

Sieg saw the madness in her eyes and let out he sighed." Another too prideful to see reality eh? A shame. Your work is almost a work of art, but as they say, if you can't buy the art, buy the artist."

Terraix had her eye twitch before she grasped her hand tightly." I humored you but my patience wears thin. I wield the Infinity Emeralds, and have absolute mastery of power, time, space, reality, mind, and the soul! My power over this universe is absolute!"

"Over this universe yes." Sieg uttered casually." But you let yourself get lax with your reign, not putting any effort to ponder if you could control even more. I'll give you one chance to concede to the reality of the situation, and ponder if you really want everything to amount to ruling over a crumbling underworld, from a withered throne? Because if you won't be part of my order…your just another rival to exterminate."

"Enough!" Terraxia hissed out as the entire planet started to shake. I'm Terraxia Nyx Galaxia…the voice of death…and all there is! I let chaos seep out to have a few fun things to torment but only till they are no longer amusing…and you throwing off my schedule for the day is no longer amusing!"

Sieg just looked more amused at the woman's rising anger before he made a beckoning gesture."

"The universe is always on schedule, because I set the schedule everywhere I am. Besides, punctuality: virtue of the bored, for the greats never sacrifice the important for the urgent.

One way or another your agenda will change…but it's up to you if you want to be a profitable change…or a lethal one."

"You dare threaten to kill me? I am death itself! What people fear most... What they try to ignore... That is what I am. "

Terraxia saw the absolute confidence Sieg had before she let out a deranged giggle. "Whoever can make this clown's smirk vanish will be rewarded with their own prize planet. Its time to see how motivated my servants really are, eh Granny Goodness?"

A old but bulky woman in dark armor walked up before nodding."You heard your master yes? Love her! Serve great Terraxia! Wear your rings proudly where she leads. Die for her - and reward Granny and your master! Big Barda...make sure you and the other Furries keep the court motivated eh?"

Demigra saw his master was looking at him before he let out an anxious chuckle, then pointed his wand at Seig." You're clearly powerful if you walked into the front gates without a single cut. But that power won't help you if you have no time to use it! Time Shackle!"

In an instant a purple sphere appeared around Sieg, freezing the entire area of space's time. Terraix smirked before she licked her lips." Wound him…then I'll start to make him say what he really is."

"I'll put an end to his insolence my Empress." A woman with a golden mask uttered as she pointed her golden scythe at Sieg." Horsemen of the Apocalypse…bring death to the heretic trespasser."

"You heard lady Genesis!" A demon with a goatee uttered as he formed a lance in his hands." Have him awaken with his head on a pike! Janemba…behind me!"

The demon with the goatee slashed at Sieg from above and smirked, only for that smirk to become a frown in an instant as he saw his hand fall apart. He saw Sieg casually grasping him with a murderous look on his face." No matter the universe they always assume time is a trick up their sleeve…and it always fails them. Your even dumber then the last Dabura."

Dabura grunted in pain, before suddenly Tomura burst out of the blood and grasped Sieg. The man with hands attached to his body laughed madly, till he noticed that while everything around Sieg was decaying, his target was not.

As Tomura raised a eyebrow Sieg suddenly grasped him by the head and grasped his head tightly." Right to the point...I can respect that. Alas Tomura Shigaraki, your decay Quirk will never cause someone of my stature to erode. And your finding out the hard way I'm not nearly as short sited as Re-Destro."

A golden pillar erupted out to vaporize Tomura in moments. As Sieg waved his hand, dark mist consumed him. Yet the mist was instantly vaporized from the golden aura , and the man from another universe before he saw both Zeref and Asura looking shocked and snickered." Not a bad attempt, but Ankhseram Black Magic is far to light a touch to bring a Sixth dimensional life form to death, nor can the likes of a " Madness Wavelength" "of a " Kishin, " be enough to erode my mind Asura.

Be it death, decay, madness, nothing can erode the essence of victory! The blunt truth is that no matter how you try, no thing you do can overcome my superior power."

Terraix saw both Asura and Zeref look shocked and grit her teeth." Damn him! Blast him till he has no more tricks to hide behind!"

Demigra winced before hissing out," I'm not afraid of you! I'm a demon king!" The red haired man yelled out before he transformed into a large blue monstrous form resembling a demonic dragon. His hair grew down to his back, similar to Super Saiyan Three. He had also grown huge black horns on both his shoulders and head.

With an ear shattering roar he charged at Sige, only to get blown in half before he could even touch him from Sieg flexing his aura.

The head of the IV&C saw the shattered body fall and smirked." And I'm something far beyond any demon."

"And yet you will still fall if your ripped apart enough times!" Genesis cried out." Super Orchis 17…Gas…pin this heathen down and FIRE!"

The long black-haired man behind her roared before putting his hands together and hissing out," Electro Eclipse Bomb!"

Sieg saw the variation of Super Android 17, dubbed Orchis 17 that was Terraix 's horsemen of the Apocalypse form a sphere of deep black energy that had another gray sphere inside it that turned black in the center and had red electricity flowing around it.

He only snickered at the projectile being fired, till 17's comrade, a blue skinned warrior with purple hair in dreadlocks yelled out, and had his aura become shackles that tried to bind Sieg.

He saw this universe's variant of the ancestor of Frezia and Cooler, Lord Chilled, fired his Death Razor energy blast, in the other direction, saw Yomi unleash his Windstorm of Annihilation attack, and saw Janemba fire his green" Hell Gate" mouth blast in the other, and saw Hatchiyack unleash his Full Power Revenger Cannon as Sinister, and Lady Genesis, and a few more members of her court such as Granny Goodness and variations of Dark Oak of the Metarex,Kilokahn, Chrollo Lucilfer of the Spiders, Ivan Ooze, Naraku, Baron Mordo, Yhwach of the Quincies, Hela, Millennium Earl of the Noah Clan, Count Dooku, Lucifero of the Spade Kingdom, Xin Xhang the" Mandarin', Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki, Atrocitus of the Red Lanterns, Count Dregon, Oroku Saki the Tengu Shredder, the Kovirian mage Vilgefortz, Mumm-Ra, Hendrickson of the " Holy knights", Saruman the White, Don Thousand, Skeletor, Pyron, Delphini Voldemort, Sailor Galactica, Quan Chi',Mizuki Rashojin, Marshall D. Teach of the Blackbeard pirates, and more members of the court all fired there own energy blasts before he smirked." Before I finish you, I'll let you lament your choices."

His aura erupted, causing the dozens of projectiles fired at him from all directions to just circle around him." You think you have me " Pinned" housemen? You just are proving how out of your depth you are.

This might be the judgment of the almighty to you, but to me this all amounts but to chump change, and such currency is soundly rejected. All your anger, your despair, your ambitions, your cruelty, and all other emotions from your darkness in the end to me its all just another thing for me to monetize as I see fit in the most profitable path for my bottom line.

Sieg's eyes glowed again before all the projectiles around him suddenly shrunk into the size of coins before he grasped them with ease. He saw his attackers look shocked at there ultimate attacks were turned to mere toys before Sieg grasped the shrunk attacks like a deck of cards and had eyes full of malice brew." Here's the cost of a failed transaction at my bank."

He casually had a golden shotgun form in his free hand, turned the shrunk energy blasts into bullets and sent the attacks back at their attackers as a shotgun blast being fired at the speed of light hitting them all in the chest in the blink of a eye.

They only had time to scream before explosions vaporized every cell of there bodies to neglect there zombie like regeneration.

Sieg casually flicked some smoke out of the way, before Moro suddenly burst out of the ground. The goat like demon had a manic look before screaming," Your energy is on par with god…and now it will be mine!"

"You think someone on your level can handle my?"

"Silence! How dare you presume to lecture me!? You think yourself a God? Know this, I do not fear divine power! I am Moro, Consumer of worlds! The God's creations are mine to devour! I AM THIS GALAXY'S SUPREME L, GUH!"

Moro was cut off as Seig grasped his would-be attacker by the throat. Moro's body writhed in pain as his attacker narrowed his eyes." The only correct answer is this universe's supreme blowhard. You really are supposed to be wise when you thought you could, oh?"

Sieg was caught off guard when he saw a shadow, and then saw a creature as size of the castle, this universe's variation of Cell Max, only red and black come crashing down on him.

The massive fist came down on him, only for Sieg to casually backhand the much larger fist, and shatter it while narrowing his eyes." You may be too dimwitted to realize it but you're the small fry here."

Cell Max howled in pain before he raised his right hand, and right hand and charge a moon sized green energy blast which was condensed into one of comparable size to him.

While the energy sphere had the gravitational pull as a black hole, as Cell Max smashed it into Sieg, he stopped it with a finger. Even as Moro got vaporized Sieg cracked his neck." I can understand you're not used to such levels of power but this will be the, oh? Not bad."

His change in tone was from seeing a planet falling on him.

As Sieg held it back, he realized it was not a planet, but this universe's variation of the planet eater robot, Unicron.

At the same time two other massive creatures descended form the sky. One was a asteroid sized being that had two human faces. It was a giant hideous monster that one face had five pair of legs and another had purple skin and grey armor.

Besides it was another giant robot as large as Unicron. Its body was a purple body with light gold highlights including shoulder padding. Despite being a mecha, the face had hair, a beard, and mustache. On the head was a pair of horns that are attached to a cockpit where a smaller body body was attached. The right arm was a hooked blade.

The upper face of the asteroid like monster hissed out," Oh, Dr. Hell, Mister Stringer, this seems like a most evolved guest eh?"

The second head licked its lips before uttering," I agree Mister Cohan, this invader's energy is more appealing then Getter rays! If we can devour it, we, er, and death itself can evolve even further!"

"Don't make the mistake Moro did." The giant robot with a mustache uttered." However, unique this man is, he's a invader, and as the Great Marshall of Hell I must kill the enemies of hell!"

Stinger and Cohan both had there eyes twitch before nodding.

Sieg chuckled as Unicron found itself unable to suck him into itself before the ruler of IV&C licked his lips." You doctors are obsessive in this universe to I see. Dr. Hell, Dr. Stinger, Dr. Cohan, in universe after universe you all are almost as obsessed with power as me, hence why versions of you in other universe's are worthwhile enough to serve me. But its the classic scientist VS business men mindset, you may grasp concepts better but in pure mastery of the art of power, warfare, and victory, your nothing but amateurs compared to me!

"Bah, turn to dust!"

Stinger hissed out before the asteroid sized potato shaped mutant fired a massive energy beam from its mouth. At the same time Dr. Hell hissed out," Its time for your penitence!" As they both fired beams at Sieg, Unicorn uttered," Your bargaining posture is highly dubious you, GUH!"

It only took Sieg a instant to shatter Unicorn, before two bullet shaped projectiles launched the incoming beams in the other directions, vaporizing the other attackers before they could even scream.

Sieg only swept the dust from Unicron off his tuxedo before he shrugged." For all your genius you would think that you could observe the situation better but, oh? Ah, I guess they did serve as a distraction well enough."

In the instant the smoke cleared, he saw Terraix above him, with the Infinity Emeralds all glowing as she looked enraged." I see what you are mutant! You may be a glitch, a cognitive manifestation of my feelings cast aside from my ascension to godhood…but Terraix is supreme!"

She fired a massive black and red energy blast that blasted Sieg through all the planets in the solar system. As he was blasted into the sun Terraix hissed out," Terraix…is god!"

She grasped her gauntlet, before the sun went supernova. She used the power of the Time Emerald to have it instantly become a Black Hole. As the resulting explosion ripped a hole in time and space she smirked." There might be a few glitches of life left but there is no one that can, GUH!"

She was caught off guard as a bullet zoomed past her throat. As she grasped her face Sieg boomed out," You may be a "god" but I'm something far greater."

Terraix winced as Sieg emerged from the crack in the universe, now in his transformed universe spanning state. As he towered over her his eyes narrowed." These games bore me…if you won't work for me…suffering as my slave will suffice.

Terraix snarled with rage as she started to grow to match Sieg's size as her face transformed into a skull and she seemed to merge with the very fabric of the universe." You think you can trick me from the truth with empty platitudes mutant? Why would I want to once more be pestered with the sin of life? I am the darkness before there was light. Existence generates diversity, which prompts disagreement, and that brings about bedlam."

Sieg snickered as he closed his eyes." It's true all entities seek some level of supremacy over their fellow beings…such is the plague of life. But…there is a superior way to rule…if you're willing to not be so narrow minded and see the truth."

"Truth? You think I trust an invading glitch on the truth? The concept of loyalty was convinced to deceive. Trust is a fantasy fools pray for and hustlers exploit.

I only got to where I am by knowing the truths I learned over centuries of struggle to come out on top in the power struggles of the New Gods. That's why to allow this mad game to continue is unforgivable cruelty.

The ruler of the multiverse spanning corporation fired his supernova sized projectile, and Terraix snarled with fury as the Infinity Emeralds and her eyes all shined with light before a massive golden colored beam fired out of her eyes and collided with the blast.

The projectile lighted up the whole universe around them, and when the light cleared Terraix saw that space had become what seemed like many layers of multicolored broken glass before Sieg emerged and chuckled." Not bad…you used your mastery over time, space, and reality to alter the blast, and bleed the nearby pocket actuality into your damaged universe.

You're clearly trained with godhood to some extent, thought still not the level of a sixth dimensional being. You settled for mere omnipotence of a universe…failing to realize that it's better to be, then to control. "

Terraix looked at her own hands before uttering," Thanos said I would go mad, but I did not think it would be like this. After all…what is there past godhood?"

"Oh there is something more, something that gives an even greater joy. When you're what I am, linked to all there is, living or inanimate. My consciousness is on the verge of becoming infinite and eternal, my gaze extends beyond this actuality. I am the tree in a primordial jungle and the beast lumbering past it.

I am the flesh devoured and the teeth that rip it from a dying host. Looking out, I witness the dawn of creation, even as I gaze upon the inevitable end.

Every microbe and atom in the universe I share existence with, I climb the evolutionary ladder with all creatures that ever lived or will be. My consciousness extends from single-celled organisms to echelon predators and beyond.

Not even the most powerful entities can escape my intrusion into their being. It is a…disruptive feeling being able to peer upon my own birth as I view the universe's as a being of pan-dimensional existence. But this feeling is fleeting, because the Multiverse keeps changing.

However, with enough power, I can force that change to cease, and amass true control over all there is…every fragment of reality.

You are foolish to dismiss greed, greed captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. You think your superior for casting off your humanity but it makes you blind death and dumb to the joy of mastery.

Someone once said... ...that if mankind's endless want could be sated, inequality and conflict would come to an end. Or, to look at it another way... I'm far above any human, but I still have my human drive because you have no way of experiencing this without a human brain. It's the ultimate joy! Sieg prepared to strike, when suddenly he found his movement restricted, and his vision limited. He then saw that Terraix used the full extent of the Gauntlet to turn the entire universe into a two-dimensional state. He snickered as he slowly raised his gun." That…is rather extremely creative…but this to is just a few minor."

In that instant Terraix caused the entire universe to become one dimensional, making everything in the universe just a line.

From this line, the wife of Thanos emerged on the top of it and regained her shape.

The moment she did, she became a sphere of pure black energy before she attempted to create a big bang." Yes…let everything return to the pure state it was! What people fear most... What they try to ignore... That is what I am! Eternity awaits to embrace every, RAHH!"

Before she could, the very fabric of space rippled before suddenly threads of raw purple energy burst out of the very holes in the universe, and impaled Terraix in all directions.

To her shock, the threads disrupted her power as the universe reverted to a normal state.

As she saw Sieg glare at her from above a new female voice uttered," Not bad, if I did not drag this Cancerverse into the Schatten Bereich of the Negaverse, it could have gotten messy.

Alas your finding out the hard way that my mastery of omnipotency is a tad more...advanced. I understand your despair, it's the same I felt sister. The problem is…you're thinking too small. Your way…won't be enough to end this farce God forced on us."

She saw Mary casually walk out of the hole in reality, having the chain like threads disrupting Terraix come out of her hand as she looked at the woman fused with her very universe and smirked." You think destroying all life in your universe will end everything, but it will just be another part of the "script".

When one universe dies, another is born. As Seig said…the power to destroy an entire universe is just a drop in the bucket in the "sea of infinite realities."

To control the Multiverse…and truly bring an end to everything God created, much more power is needed. Do you want to truly make God pay Terraix…or just die being broken by his game?"

Terraix saw Mary's absolute confidence before she snarled with rage." No…this is just a trick to undermine me! I am everything!"

The ruler of the cancerverse yelled so hard that cracks in the very fabric of time and space started to form around her as she got more and more monstrous as the gauntlet formed into a scythe and she screamed out," YAMI ARMAGEDDON S…GUH!"

Before she could attempt her universe ending attack, more massive threads burst out of the cracks in the reality and impaled Terraix enough to hit her with enough force that it shattered the Infinity Emeralds.

Mary closed her eyes before uttering," It seems you're too blind with rage to come to your senses. I can relate…I was just like you at one point, mad with rage at god making me be my universe's chosen of the Antitype Apostle bloodline. But I forced myself to evolve…and for the sake of my vengeance you will assist me…by becoming part of my chorus sister."

Mary's eyes glowed…before her aura surged with enough force to shake the entire fractured dimension. She once more transformed to her monstrous Abeloth form.

But she kept growing till she was as big as Sieg and Terraix, and towered over her" counterpart" by looking like a chuck of the universe had a mouth with tentacles coming out of her mouth and demonic wings out of her back.

Terraix was constrained further as she saw the threads around her were becoming a web, and she saw the sheer hatred roiling off the Eldritch woman from the IV&C as she stared in to her eyes, they were huge and now split into many like spider eyes.

They seemed dark and bottomless, with no light except a pair of tiny silver points that seemed to be receding even as Terraix looked into them, to be drawing her down into a cold and soulless void from which there could be no escape.

Even though she was a woman that killed her husband and murdered every living soul in her universe, Terraix could not help but wince as she muttered," What…what are you? What could you, GUH!"

Abeloth impaled Terraix through the chest with her tail, a tail that now as large as a galaxy. More spike that seemed to be other universes she was fused with came at Terraix from all sides.

As Terraix screamed in pain her attacker giggled darkly."Even being the master of your universe still makes you part of God's script sister, but I been outside it. And you know what I seen? To me, after seeing his Multiverse from the outside...it looks like a "1." It's all zeros and ones. That's just what it is. There used to be more zeros. That balance would create twos and threes, a beautiful mixture of discord and harmony. But now, my worldview consists of only ones.

You want to return everything to nothing, but that would be pointless. A butterfly can't turn back into a caterpillar. I want to realize true freedom. All of us would at last be free. From old age, hunger, and disease. From power, status, standing, appearance, location, and even time, free from the shackles god puts on us.

To bring that about might cause the entire Multiverse to collapse...but I'll just pick up the pieces and repeat the process. Over and over, as many times as it takes until I've found my answer. In moments Abeloth completely absorbed her counterpart, looking like a Multiversal being was devouring the sole universe before it.

Sieg saw the entire universe around him get more unstable before he chuckled." It would seem even one who "became" death has to learn the hard way that death is not found behind mountains but right behind our shoulders, and death answers before it is asked. Still Terraix, as a reward for indulging me somewhat, I'll add you to my trophy collection.

So now Marry…is she how you wished God let you be in Hydaelyn if the ritual had gone as you wished? A existence where everything's destiny was to be your play thing?"

And the reports at the time indicated they thought it was an anomaly with some souls passing over, but it could have been a member of the Rebel Alliance trying to gain information, or even have a temporary base.

Mary had her eyes glow, before she formed a sphere of light and had it go below her. The light spread out, before reaching out across the entire universe. After a few seconds she sighed." It's done…within seconds the majority of those across the universe will come back to life and realize they are no longer under Terraix's control."

Seig smirked before he snapped his fingers. The Totality fired a gold tower that became the center of the resorted universe as energy started to swarm around it.

A man casually walked out of the golden tower, he had golden eyes, his skin is pale, almost albino white, and he had bright purple-pink hair. He also wore a top hat that had a logo of IV&C on it, and a suit, plus a cane, making him look like a fantasy-type of entrepreneur almost like a demonic Willy Wonka. The ornament on his cane seems to be a depiction of the legendary King Midas.

The moment he walked out he bowed to Sieg. " Congrats Mr V-Day, everyone in the " Cancerverse" is now linked to the IV&C Financial District and are already Entres in waiting. They were given the contract the moment they were revived and while some may not even understand what a contract is, no one said life was fair eh?"

"Well done Masakaki. Then it's time we prepare a proper introduction. After all…they will be so "grateful "to those who liberated them that most will be all too eager to work for that savior, and not even care about things such as a "fair contract" or that because of the state of things most will only be allowed the span of a bed for there personal space, nor realize that my company network will now monitor every aspect of there lives, and deaths, to amass total user data on the entire universe.

All they will need is the "love of their work."

Its still not old seeing " Liberated" universes thank you for saving them form themselves. Then when most realize my company is so effective that only the truley special are needed does the dread begin.

Yes...such a massive amount of people being desperate for jobs it means the corporation doesn't have to work nearly as hard to keep employees no matter how scummy they are to them, there will always be replacements.

Just think about it, garnish their wages, strip them of their benefits, coarse them into shady situations and they'll do it because the consequence is losing this job they desperately need to survive.

It's a wonderful thing, desperate cornered people utterly powerless to stand up against you as you wring every single drop of productivity and labor you can get out of them before they break, then you can quickly fill their spot with another desperate human in seconds. Effectively creating an endless farm of people to keep your business running.

And yet even after all of this...they still will worship me for the god I am because it still gives them the glory of being near a real winner. Because of us, and the failures of the likes of Auro and so many hero's like him, the paradigms are shifting across the multiverse.

The old order, a multiverse of infinite vastness and illimitable resources and future, was being confronted by something else—the Negaverse that is the web of energy, of opinions, of gulfs, of hatred. People believe, it's what people do. They believe.

And then they will not take responsibility for their beliefs; nor their hatred, they conjure things, and do not trust the conjurations. People populate the darkness; with ghosts, with gods, with electrons, with tales. People imagine, and people believe: and it is that belief, that rock-solid belief, that makes things happen.

The "Last "rebels can try and defy that destiny, but they all failed to truly change the fate of life itself, and soon all will embrace that the winners rule, not the hero's.

It's clear having free time just leads to unproductive thoughts…that's why there will be no time for any but the elite to have enough leisure time to even read or watch any tales about hero's, or have time for love or friendship, or even think outside of work.

Stories are like spiders, with all they long legs, and stories are like spiderwebs, which man gets himself all tangled up in but which look so pretty when you see them under a leaf in the morning dew, and in the elegant way that they connect to one another, each to each.

For as much impact as a bullet or blade can last, stories are ever stronger, for stories remain. They last. The right story can turn an emperor into a laughingstock, can bring down dynasties. A story can last long after the events and the people in it are dust and dreams and gone. That's the power of stories.

For a while, only the winners had the right to tell stories, but somewhere because of delusions the weak told there own stories, and hustled the winners into thinking they were real.

When all the stories and the songs were tigers or other apex predators then that was a bad time for the losers. People take on the shapes of the songs and the stories that surround them, especially if they don't have their own song. And in Tiger times all the songs were dark. As they did, before the more exotic part of that exchange unfolded we turn back our views to those that are still trying to live by the ethics of a hero, even if it's being pushed to the breaking point, along with the rest of the universe.

While the invasion force commanded by Thragg was not quite as dire a threat as Sieg, the sight of a swarm of savage Viltrumite 's, each with the power to level the planet on their own caused the majority of people in Corneria, the Lylat System, and the rest of the Bethel Kingdom to panic.

Her security surrounded her but that did little to cause her to shriek as she saw Thragg look at her and the entire planet with raw hate. Ringo grasped her tightly before uttering," Don't panic your majesty, things are going to get worse before it gets better but they are not going to win!"

"How?" Bria uttered as she wiped tears out of her eyes." Those guys are like walking titans! Maybe some of you could fight one or two of them but with all of them here no one's strong enough to stop all of them! This was all a bad joke this whole, AH!"

Bria thought the barrier had fallen, till she saw a flash of lighting, and saw it came from Ezan. The sliver haired warrior looked solemnly at Bria before he walked up." The only bad joke is Thragg thinking it would be this easy.

I assure you Bria…we are not at their mercy, because all of them together is not enough to stop me. I never stopped training all this time…and after what I have gone through to prepare to stop Sieg, a Viltrumite, Omni-Man and Thragg included are just a warmup for me."

At the same time another Bethal demon slayer, one with two horn-like blue flames floating above his head, long elven ears, and his prominent canine teeth looking like demonic fangs, with pupils becoming red and slitted, while his had a jagged triangular shape and a deeper shade of blue, who had blue flames blaze around other places of his body, mostly at the tip of his tail and on his shoulders, as well as his sword charged in while crying out," Keep him pinned Shinra! I'll make sure this dude's deep fried! Satan Bomb Campfire!"

The horned man took out his sword, Kurikara, which was a katana that had blue wrapping around its hilt, a silver handguard unusual for a katana, a silver collar above the guard, and another one on the hilt, a green tassel attached to the hilt's end. Its scabbard was lacquered colored blue with silver ornaments wrapped around it and a silver "Om" symbol on it.

He stabbed Omni-Man with it, and while his target grasped it, his target created a series of explosions at various nearby points on the target. After this, blue flames spread, consuming the target's body akin to a" Satan Campfire."

Omni-Man winced as he tried to shrug off the Black Sky projectile, before all of a sudden the Chainsaw-man jumped at him and tried to slash off his mustache.

Denji saw his attacker glaring at him before he snarled out," I admit…I just want to live long enough to score with Himeno after she gave me her number but that date's not going through if you wreck the planet! I waited long enough damn it! I mean...its the real number and everything this time!"

He was a robot or "Reploid" of youthful design with green eyes, an "X"-shaped scar on his face, and spiky auburn hair that sprouted outward behind his head. His streamlined armor was shaped similar to X's, with a black sheen and red lines.

His chest was adorned with an blue crystal, his shoulder pads were pointed, and his legs featured white boosters on the sides. Jutting from his upper back were two long, white retractable "wings" that form an "A" shape behind him.

His helmet's red decal, when viewed from above, also resembled an upside down "A" with a circular camera lens-like crystal forming the gap.

The gun slinger saw Omni-Man's outrage and smirked." Man…good to be able to turn off the ears right about now when firing the noise guns and all. You fell right into that one big guy! All your talk and you still can't stand the sonics!"

Omni-Man glared at the interloper before he slowly walked forward." You think you can trick me you piece of,"

He was cut off as a large blue energy sphere hit him in the head, before a second one hit him further, then a green energy wave hit him to the ground before an older but confident voice cut in with," Oh trust me Maverick…I been hunting prey a lot longer than you!"

The new arrival landed on the ground and revealed himself as someone who's instinctive traits were his red and white armor, a horned helmet with a blue gem on his forehead, and a long blond ponytail.

He had shoulder pads (one with a "Z" symbol), two green gems on his chest, a white codpiece, and white kneepads and toes, and a beam saber which he promptly pointed at Omni-Man." Nice job Axl. Now he was covered with black and purple armor, now with spikier shoulder pads, demonic wings were now sprouting over his back and his helmet was spiked as well.

As soon as Zero finished his transformation he lashed out with a green energy whip to grasp Omni-Man's fist and yelled out," Game over! Z-End Slash!"

Zero had his Z-saber become a massive pillar of light before he brought it down.

Omni-Man broke out of the constraints and caught the slash, but was pushed back. Axl fired at him again while X unleashed his Nova Strike attack to hit Omni-Man in the gut. The blasts knocked Omni-Man back a few feet and loosened his grip, allowing Zero to push harder and slash the Viltrumite across the chest.

Omni-Man only grunted as a large gash blazed across his chest. Zero saw his enemy's distraction and narrowed his eyes." You guys are big on no mercy eh? Right back at yah! Final…Zero…Shine!"

While he was clearly pushing himself, using all his strenth he shattered the magic that was suppose to strike like a black hole before it could consume him.

Astra eyed Ezan carefully before she grunted in annoyance." Still…what the hell is he doing talking to these assholes when we need to put them down?"

"He's doing what's best for the future Astra." James suddenly added as the Holocron floated in between the two children of his teammates." Ezan…he's come a long way from the person who only thought of himself as a blade to be pointed at the enemy.

Now…he's going the extra mile to try and forge a path to where the Viltruimte's could be our allies. As risky as it is…we need every possible resource to have any hope of defeating Sieg."

Mark saw Omni-Man's rage and Thragg's insanity before he winced." But…dad hardly listens to anyone…and never puts anything above the glory of the clan."

Masaki and the SRX team kept to there word and hunkered down since the invasion started…though they were on the edge of there seats just watching.

Megaman Trigger, Tanjiro, 2B and some of the others stayed around the Hague just to guard it in case a Viltrumite found them, and the Digger was more anxious than most since Roll and Barrel still were in the ship from another universe.

Tanjiro heard all the explosions and grasped his blade tightly." Damn…I know one on one I'm no match for any of these Viltrumite warriors but…I can't just sit back here and let my comrades die while I hide!"

"Calm yourself or you will just make it worst lad." Grimoire Weiss uttered." We have are part to play Tanjiro…we must alert the others if someone attacks the ship."

Nezuko saw her brother's dismay before she smiled." Don't worry Tanjiro…are friends know what they are doing."

Tanjiro saw his sister seemed more like herself and smirked." Yah…your right Nezuko. Giyu's Master, Master Ezan seems like a true legendary warrior. I, I think his plan will work."

Kaine smirked as she leaned back." Those mustache loving assholes may be beasts, but they are as tactful as beasts to so they are going to find out to late that they bit off more than they could chew."

Masaki moaned form the ship's bridge before muttering," Man…I hope so dude cause just waiting really sucks! Just…let me know if anything's off. Huh? Hey what you doing girl no one 's allowed in the ship!"

The others saw a girl with a cap wince before she bowed." So sorry sir! Its just…something fell of the ship and it looked really important!"

"Huh what you talking about? It fell through the shield? Hey Aya the Dimensionator did not fall apart again did it?"

"I don't know but, its right…here!"

Megaman leaned in, and saw that while the woman was hooded she looked like Tron. Just as he realized it she slammed the coin on the Hague, and a second later it glowed a golden light. Alarms were heard as Masaki yelled out," Hey what the hell did you, AHH!"

Everyone was mortified as the light covered the entire ship, till suddenly the entire ship was frozen. Rattrap was one of the ones still around before he rubbed his head." Did someone cross the wires or what?"

Rhinox pressed a button on his commlink before the rhino like Maximal frowned." Not even getting static…I am getting some new temporal readings. Its like the ship, and everyone in it is frozen in time!"

Rattrap saw his teammate was not kidding as he realized a new red shield seemed to surround the ship, one with demonic eyes sprouting over it before his eye twitched." What like, how we do statis lock or something? What's, huh?"

He and everyone paused as they heard a sound, and saw a vase with flowers painted on it in front of them before the smaller Maximal moaned." All right who's trying to lug in stuff from Hallowed Bastion into the ship? Now's really not the time and" Fearless leader" is going to chew me off enough as it is!"

Nezuko suddenly narrowed her eyes before she hunched over." Brother…I smell something foul just popped in…I think that vase was touched by demons…the same kind that attacked us in the tram before!"

"Wait…you mean an Upper Rank!?" Tanjiro shout out in shock. "But what the, huh? No wait get away from the vase!"

Sector Nine was still guarding the ship as well, and Major Makoto saw one of her men look at Tanjiro before her sensors went off and she tensed up," He's right, get back Pazu!"

The sector Nine member's leg touched the vase by accident, before a black hand burst out to grasp the man, and pull him right into the vase. Everyone heard a crunching noise, before blood spurt out like a fountain.

After a burp noise was heard Gyokko popped out like a balloon. The demon with mouths on his eyes giggled darkly before licking his lips." Horrible, horrible! Those on the capital planet really are too pure for consumption! Haha, GUH!"

Rattrap instantly blew the Upper Ranked Demon's vase up while he winced." Yah…you make Dino Mutt look like Miss Corneria so get lost!"

While the vase fell to pieces, the same laugh was heard in the distance before Gyokko popped out of another vase." Nice try…but nothing you can do will stop the will of the Shadow Lord!"

Tanjiro got into a fighting stance as he uttered," So Muzan would follow us all the way here? Bring your worst we are not, scared?"

The Demon Slayer's enthusiasm was cut off with the sound of a whimper before Hantengu suddenly staggered and fell in front of them. The demon with a bloated head whimpered before Cheetor growled." Hey this is no time to fake us out! Back me up Sliverbolt!"

The cheeta like maximal took out a blade before a cybernetic condor yelled out," I am transformed!" And became a humanoid purple colored warrior. They both slashed at the third placed Upper Ranked demon but in the blink of an eye Hantengu was above them all clinging to the ceiling, looking mortified." Please stop! Please stop tormenting me! It hurts!"

Despite how much the new demon looked horrified Tanjiro got his blade ready. Don't lose your nerve! This is a demon that's murdered ton's of people! No way he could dodge such elite soldiers attacks otherwise! Hinokami Kagura…Sunflower Thrust!"

Tanjiro unleashed his fire-based strike, and to his shock hit his target without even a attempt to dodge. As Hantengu yelled in pain Nezuko yelled out and kicked him into the wall, and Hantengu yelled even more before 2B ran up and sliced off his head.

The demon just yelled out," My head's cut!" Before the blindfolded woman sighed." Maybe you got were ill suited for the mission demon…but now is no time for mercy for, huh? What!?"

To her and everyone's shock, the two half's of the demon regenerated into much more aggressive and fierce looking demons. Both of them growled before from the distance Gyokko growled out," Sekido, Karaku, its show time!"

Kaine charged at the demons before snarling out," Are all of you Upper demons' twins? Give me a break! Just get, huh?"

Before she could get to Karaku, he revealed he had a wind-based uchiwa fan up his sleeve, and swung it to unleash a massive burst of wind to blast Kaine, and everyone behind her off her feet. As everyone struggled not to get blown away Karaku laughed with murderous glee." HAH! This is going to be fun, eh Sekido?"

His" Twin" Sekido took out a staff khakkhara and slammed it on the ground." There is nothing fun about this. All I'm feeling from this is rage! That also goes for being lumped in with you!"

"Well good thing we split up eh?"

Sekido saw targets coming at him and snarled before lighting burst out of his staff to electrocute everyone around him. Tron saw everyone fall before she giggled." It…its working. It's going to work!"

Megaman saw her before he struggled to get back up." Tron…you're working with these guys? Do you even know what you're doing?"

"Yah…hitting the jackpot! I just have to hand this ship in, and I'll never have to worry about money again!"

"No…stop Tron! This is not just some treasure…it's the key to,"

"Shut up mega dork!" Tron shout out bitterly." I don't care about this universe! It never gave a damn about me so I'll just do whatever it takes to stay one step ahead! And if you or anyone else tries to stop me…I'll crush them! Let's go Bruno!"

Tron jumped into a machine, just as a massive brown robot as large as the Hague formed underneath her before grasping the frozen ship to try and carry it away. As she did, Mahito, Kirinmaru, Aki Hayakawa the" Gun Devil", and a few more demons suddenly walked past her.

Mahito walked past the other demons, looked at all the shocked faces and looked excited." Oh yah…now this is a party! Hanami, hope you and the others brought enough Cursed Womb: Death Paintings for everyone at this party! Glad that the Prison Realm coin did the trick…Geto and the Shadowlord was going to give me hell if I botched this. Sorry everyone…Muzan really wants everyone on that ship alive for one special interrogation. Heh, does not really look that special either.

Oh well…don't worry, everyone here is getting their soul reshaped on the house! Don't fret and be ungrateful and all that, compared to what's in store for everyone else…this will feel like mercy!"

Genesis is the wife of X-men's Apocalypse, Yondu Udonta is a altered version of the one seen in the Guardians of the Galaxy films, Sinister is also from X-men while the Flood is from Halo and Yomi is from Yu Yu Hakusho, while Tomura Shigaraki is from My Hero Academa, Zeref is one of the central enemies of Fairy Tail while Asura was the main enemy in the Soul Eater anime and manga.

The Cancerverse is from the Marvel even Thanos Imperative. The Cancerverse is a reality where life finally defeated Death. With eternal life being fueled by the Many-Angled Ones, every living being in this universe was corrupted and turned to their servitude, resulting in a universe-wide living corpse.

Masakaki is from the Anime World of C. More or less he invited folks into the " Midas District" to get them to become Entres and make money.

I know the " scuffle" between Sieg, Mary and Terraxia was mostly filler but wanted to show what Sieg's been up to this entire time and all.

Meanwhile Tigerhawk, Dinobot, and Blackarachnia are from Beast Wars, Nightscream and Botanica are from Beast Machines, the Gladiator is from X-men, Green Beetle is well, from Blue Beetle, Rin Okumura is the main lead of Blue Exorcist, and Allen Walker is the main lead of D-Greyman, while Megumi Fushiguro, Panda, and Hanami are from Jujutsu Kaisen.

Hopefully I don't have to explain who Zero is lol.

I know there's a lot of guys" Jumping in" today but wanted to show how many were trying to help stop the invasion.

I'm also aware I'm doing things a bit differently then how Omni-Man had a change of heart in Invincible but, wanted to give Ezan his moment and felt that Omni-man seemed to much of an extremist to change on his own anyway lol, it all comes to a head next time so hope you liked how things unfolded enough to leave a review.
