It was just a typical morning and Rocket was making breakfast for him, Casey and Shocket plus today was the Open House at Horizon High which Shocket attended excited for her dad to see what she was up to seeing Casey rolling her eyes at her cousin seeing Rocket's eyes widen, getting a test from Gamora making his eyes widen in awe, that his little girl, Emily had fouhd her way back to Earth which he hadn't told Casey and Shocket about just yet, having to lie.

"Casey, Shockie gotta go, I have an emergency, I'll try to get to Horizon High for the Open House." he said running out the door of the house they lived in on the grounds of Avengers Campus as his and Gamora's daughter, Emily who was a symbiote raccoon who he thought had disappeared Until now entering running on alll-fours to the infirmary seeing Gamora there brushing Emily's hair making him overjoyed seeing Gamora bring a green-skinned finger to her lips motioning for him to be quiet because Emily had just fallen asleep after she'd talked to her, and had calmed her a bit.

His brown eyes looked to a green-furred female in a bed sleeping making his daddy senses activate strokijg her light-green fur gently asking if Emily was alright seeing Gamora nodding, saying Emily had fallen asleep askijg if Shocket knew seeing him shake his furry head in reply.

"She has Open House but I had to come, after your message but she'll understand once I tell her and Casey, about Emily." he told her seeing Banner there with a symbiote expert, relieving him as he loved Emily just as much as Casey and Shocket which Gamora understood.

"Everything will be okay, go about your day and I'll call you when Emmy wakes up, alright." Gamora assured him seeing him squeeze Emily's paw gently before leaving the room.

The others noticed he was a bit distracted, unaware of Emily being here in the infirmary hearing Casey ask him if he was alright seeing him shakijg his head telling her about Emily, seeing her excited to meet her new cousin guessing he was anxious about telling Shocket in case she'd get mad seeing Casey frown, as Shocket should be happy to have a big half-sis.

"Emmy's her half-sis kiddo, and kind of yours too in a way, oh geez the Open House, I forgot," he cried out remembering feeling her squeeze his paw gently in reassurance seeing him breathe deeply, asking if she wanted to meet Emily seeing her nod.

"Of course I do daddy, sorry uncle I meant." Casey told him looking away with her furry cheeks pink as sakuras

"It's okay, if you wanna call me the D word, go ahead as I know you think of me as that, let's go." he replied as they were going to the infirmary seeing Emily awake smiling seeing her dad there, feeling so happy to see him making Rocket choked up hugging her gently as not to hurt her.

"Aww, Emily's so kawali, she has green fur," Casey said grinning, that was her favourite colour.

"T-Thank you, are you my sister, is she daddy." Emily asked softly makijg Rocket smile.

"This is Casey and you could say that, plus you've another sis named Shocket who I'll introduce you to, when you get out of here just so happy you're back, Mom and I were really worried about you, we never stopped thinking about you, Emmy." Rocket told the green-furred raccoon female seeing her smile, she'd missed her parents especially her dad.

"This is good, I always wanted sibs daddy, sorry if I worried you and mom." Emily said to them sniffling feeling Gamora and Rocket hug her being careful seeing Casey join in the hug feeling good vibes, which Emily needed to get better and she felt like Rose, her symbiote best friend when she hugged her impressing Emily grinning a little at Casey asking if Shocket would be nice too, like Casey, seeing them exchange a look.

"You'll see kiddo, she's probably mad at me." Rocket told her.

"Why would she, what did you miss." Emily asked softly.

"I missed her Open House, so I could come see you." he replied.

"Hmmmm, won't she understand, if you explained." Emily asked.

Casey shook her furry head in reply, she knew Shocket would have a cow if she knew her dad had missed her Open House because of Emily hoping he had a plan to calm her cousin down knowing her temper was like Rocket's guessing Emily was more calm than their dad when upset which was a good thing of sorts, seeing Rocket WhatsApping Howard to explain what was going on, knowing Shocket would go nuclear on him, when he got home seeing Casey with Emily, while Gamora was talking to the docs.

"I hope Shockie understands, I'll find a way to make itup to her." Rocket muttered making Casey sigh as these things happened so Shocket had to understand plus excited that Emily would be living with them, when she got discharged which made him smile.

Meanwhile at Howard's apartment, Shocket was fuming in rage as she'd realised her dad hadn't shown up at Open House even though she'd won a trophy which Linda understood as they wondered what kind of emergency had made her dad lose track of time, missing her moment until Howard got a test from Rocket explaining however that made Shocket anxious feelijg Linda hug her calming her down, saying they could have fun, and stay up celebrating seeing the purple-mohawked female guess she was right, even though she'd wanted her dad there, kissing Linda's feathery cheek.

"I'drather be with you than meet some stranger called Emily." Shocket said to her.

Howard sighed texting his reply to Rocket, knowing this would happen if Emily returned knowing it would talk a while, for Shocket to get used to Emily, only he knew she was proud to be her dad's descendant and if she knew Emily came first, chaos would ensue hoping Rocket had a plan to handle this texting his best friend warning him how Shocket was feeling right now.

Rocket frowned, seeing Howard's response deciding to leave Shocket alone with Linda for a few days to calm down sighing and breathing deep but was seeing him adding her to his WhatsApp as she had her own phone which would help her not feel alone during the night as visiting hours were almost up squeezing her paw gently.

"Good luck with Shocket, daddy." Emily told him.

"Thanks honey, I will, Casey let's go." he replied.

Casey nodded as she left, deciding to make something for Emily when they got home which Rocket found sweet guessing Shocket was staying with Howard and Linda tonight making Casey understanding, wanting to tell Rose about Emily makijg Rocket chuckle, as they were back home.

Rocket was setting up a room for Emily for when she got out which was soon knowing Casey was happy about, knowing Shocket wasn't excited yet she'd come around when she realised he loved Emily, Casey and her equally which Casey knew about, he then checked on her smiling.

Of course she's making Emmy a card, that's so sweet of her and Emmy will love it in the morning
