As BAE continues to rise to the top of the WWE, Sasha suspects that the God Girls are trying to break up her marriage to Seth Rollins. Will Sasha have it all or will she lose what matters to her the most?
Chapter Nine – The Golden Sacrifice
LC and Cameron's, Agoura Hills, Los Angeles, CA
Lisa Michaels opened her sleepy eyes to see a very concerned but handsome Seth Rollins looking back at her, holding his wife Sasha's hand with his daughter Havana on his right shoulder.
"Seth, what are you doing here?" Lisa said rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
"Something's happening to our home," Seth said.
"Well, why aren't you with the God G-" Lisa started to say God Girls but Sasha cut her off.
"Do not say those b****** names in my presence," Sasha commanded and LC quickly realised why Seth hadn't gone to the God Girls for help.
"Cameron's making breakfast and Faith Star's in the garden, I think she's talking to Abiyah and Perfection on the phone," LC said and she gave Sasha a warning glare, "If you're gonna come in my house you better take the base out of your voice. This is a God-fearing house, we do not worship at the altar of Sasha Banks here,"
Sasha huffed, "See I told you we shouldn't have come here, the DX family is like a toothache at Christmas. Can we please go to BayRock instead?" she asked Seth.
"No, we have to stay here in Agoura Hills," Seth replied. "Malibu is too close to the water, we need to stay up high,"
LC furrowed her brow at Seth, "What happened at your house?" she asked him.
Seth ushered his wife and Havana who had her now normal sized but still red condor Connie with her, refused to leave her father's side.
"I'm not going anywhere with her," Havana said and Seth picked up his daughter while Sasha strutted into the Michaels' home, finding fault with everything about it as she walked through.
"Havana get in here," Sasha called to her daughter and Seth kissed Havana on the cheek as she shot her mother a disdainful look. Havana still hadn't gotten over the fact that her mother tried to use Blue Thunder on her.
"Go inside Hav, I'll be right there, I just need to talk to your Aunty Lisa about what happened to our home," Seth said and Hav reluctantly went inside with her mother the Legit Boss while Seth pulled out his phone and showed Lisa a picture of his home.
"What is all that stuff on your house?" Lisa said seeing a glittering substance all over the Rollins house.
"Its gold," Seth replied, "our entire house is covered in it,"
Lisa magnified the photo to have a closer look and then she gasped realising what it was, "Is Bayley at home?" she asked concerned.
"No, she's in New York with the other God Girls," Seth replied and Lisa gave a sigh of relief.
"Oh thank God, Malibu is not safe right now. Do the God Girls know about this?" Lisa asked.
"It's possible Bianca knows but I haven't spoken to them since Friday," Seth said rubbing the back of his neck nervously and Lisa gave Seth a stern look of disapproval.
"Seth, you have got to tell them about this," she said seriously, "If this is what I think it is, you are going to need all the help you can get,"
"I can't make contact with them right now," Seth said.
"Why because your wife won't like it?" Lisa said derisively, "I got news for you God boy, your wife is the reason this thing is all over your house, it is here for her. The Golden Goddess is coming for her and if you don't tell the God Girls what's going on, you might not make it out of Los Angeles in one piece!"
"So, it is the Golden Goddess," Seth said solemnly and he sat down on the step of LC and Cameron's home. "On Saturday morning, I was in the kitchen and then when I turned to go back upstairs, I saw this gold film shimmering outside all the windows. Then I grabbed my girls and came here. I have to save them, I can't let that thing anywhere near them Lisa. I need your help, I know you have a history with this sort of stuff, can you help me get rid of it?"
Lisa sat down next to Seth and gave him a stern look, "You know I can't help you with this Seth," she said. "By coming here, all you've done is put my family in danger. There's only one group of people that can help you with this and they're all in New York, so you better call them and get them here now!"
"I told you I can't contact them Lisa," Seth said and Cameron came out to join them on the doorstep.
"I just spoke to Aurora, she just left the Sandbox and she's going over to Pensacola. Stephanie McMahon Hardy just told Roman Reigns that she wants everyone to come to the McMahon Family Compound in Fort Lauderdale this afternoon. Under the circumstances, it might be the best thing for you and your family right now Seth," Cameron said.
"Who's gonna be there?" Seth asked and Lisa shook her head at him.
"If by that you mean are the God Girls gonna be there, then the answer is yes," Cameron said. "Along with the rest of the DX family and ATM. This is a very serious meeting and I'm pretty sure its about your wife and that new BAE faction trying to kill Finn Balor in New York City last week,"
"I can't go if she's gonna be there," Seth said reluctantly and Cameron joined his wife on the step with Seth.
"I know this is hard Seth but you have got to have more faith in God than this. This assignment is bigger than your marriage, it is bigger than your family and now, you're at the end game. If that thing covering your home is in fact the Golden Goddess, then you can't afford to be separated from any of the God Girls right now and that includes Bianca Belair," Cameron said. "You will not complete this assignment without her,"
Seth put his head in his hands, "I can't stop thinking about her. It hurts so much being this far away from her but being around her makes me feel even worse," Seth said. "How can I lead the God Girls to victory if I already feel like I've let them down?"
LC laughed, "How have you let the God Girls down Seth?" she asked incredulous. "You're an amazing leader, a man of prayer, a faithful servant of God who had fought tooth and nail to keep his wife from going to Hell. All you have to do now is keep going and don't let her stop you because if you don't go to Fort Lauderdale and attend this meeting, your wife will get exactly what she wants,"
"And what's that?" Sasha said coming out to see what LC and Cameron were telling Seth, "What exactly does Sasha Banks want Lisa Michaels? For her husband to be the faithful and loyal man and father he promised that he would be? You're damn right that's what I want and we ain't leaving California, if that Golden ratchet wants to come at me, she better be ready to take us all down together, that's me, Seth and Havana!"
Lisa shook her fist at Sasha, "You stupid moron! If the Golden Goddess finds you, she will turn you and your family into a golden statue. That's what she does, she immobilises her targets and turns them into gold and you will stay that way forever," Lisa explained and Sasha looked at Seth fearfully.
"Is that true?" she asked her husband nervously.
"He doesn't know, because you won't let him talk to the one person who knows all about this already," Lisa said. "Don't you see that by keeping Seth away from the God Girls you are putting your family in mortal danger? You have to go to Fort Lauderdale with us, please don't fight us on this Sasha, this is very serious. Once the Golden Goddess finds you, she will not stop until you are turned to gold,"
Sasha gulped, "How did she find us?" she asked Lisa. "Someone must have led her to us, someone jealous of me, someone jealous of my family, someone who has an agenda to destroy me and everything I've ever worked for," she said and she looked up at Seth, "Someone like one of your God Girls. One of those b****** is behind this Seth and when we go to that meeting, I'm a find out which one and then I'm going to electrocute them right in front of you!"
Seth put his head in his hands as Sasha stormed back into the Michaels' home to get Havana who refused to move from Faith Star's side, telling her mother to go away vehemently and flaring up, a sure sign that Combustion was on its way back to the West Coast.
LC and Cameron rubbed Seth's back supportively when Sasha left them, "I told Sasha that the Golden Goddess would her family to gold, but I left out one very important detail," LC said.
"And what's that?" Seth asked.
"The Golden Goddess is here for BAE and every member of BAE, which is why I asked you if Bayley was in Malibu. If the Golden Goddess finds you Seth, she will not turn you to gold, as long as you remain leader of Seth and the God Girls. The Golden Goddess will not turn Havana into gold because she clearly wants nothing to do with her mother and therefore, wants nothing to do with BAE. But, if the Golden Goddess finds Sasha Banks, she will turn her to gold instantly," LC explained. "Now that I've told you all I know, let's get out of here!"
Seth took all of this in while Cameron noticed a golden shimmer gliding over the horizon, "What's that?" he asked Lisa. "It looks like a golden sunrise,"
"That's no sunrise Cameron, that's the Golden Goddess, we gotta go now!" Lisa said. "We'll take that giant condor of yours!"
Thanks to Combustion, Connie the Condor was back to its supernatural size and the Michaels and the Rollins families boarded it and took off for the South East for an emergency DX meeting. On the way, Seth let Lisa's words about the Golden Goddess coming for Sasha ruminate through his mind. Was Sasha the reason for the Golden Goddess' arrival or had she been sent by one of his God Girls? Whatever the reason was, the Golden Goddess had to be dealt with and it wouldn't be possible to avoid Bianca if he wanted his family to survive what would be a fatal attack on his wife.
A while later, Sasha saw that Seth was deep in thought as they flew over the Californian sky to Florida, and she tugged on his arm to get his attention, "What's wrong?" she asked him.
"Nothing, I just got a lot on my mind Sasha," he said and she rested her head on his shoulder as Seth replayed the message going through his head on repeat, which was that soon and very soon, he could be a single father. Soon and very soon, he'd be single once again and soon and very soon, he wouldn't see Sasha ever again as a mortal human being. Soon and very soon, Seth's marriage would be over and his life with Sasha would be no more.
Seth kissed his wife on the forehead and then he called out to the Heavenlies, "She's here!" he cried and he pushed Sasha off of Connie's back. "Come and get her!"
"ARGHHHHH!" Sasha screamed as she fell through the sky like a beautiful falling star and as she fell, the Golden Goddess came towards her and enveloped her, twisting around her until she was completely illuminated with gold.
"Connie turn around!" Havana said to her giant condor.
"No keep going!" Seth said and Havana stared at her father in shock.
"You just sacrificed Mom to the Golden Goddess!" she yelled and Seth shook his head.
"No Hav, I just gave her what she wanted," Seth said and Havana watched as the Golden Goddess consumed her mother's entire body, turning her into a golden goddess.
Seth quickly covered his daughter's eyes, "Don't look at her Havana!" he cried and Cameron and LC looked as Sasha Banks stood in the air, with her spirit trapped inside a golden vessel though not yet hardened, was on its way there. Cameron put his hand on Seth's shoulder and LC wept as the Golden Goddess consumed his wife.
"You did the right thing Seth," Cameron said. "I know that couldn't have been easy but you had to put your family first. If Sasha had come to Florida with us, she would have destroyed everything. At least now we have a fighting chance,"
Seth nodded, "I know I did the right thing but I'm not giving up on her. One day I will save my wife's life," Seth said and he held Havana close to his chest, "but right now, I have to save us from my wife,"
Havana wept against her father's chest, "I hate crying but I know she'll come back one day," she cried and both father and daughter cried over the Legit Boss, who was now becoming the Legit Goddess. Sasha was still able to move her body, the Golden Goddess hadn't completely taken over her yet but the process was underway. It wasn't enough for the Golden Goddess to consume one soul, she wanted as many souls as she could get.
"I'll free you Sasha, if you bring me the souls of BAE and the souls of your family," the Golden Goddess whispered to Sasha.
"I'll do it, I'll do anything for you my Goddess!" Sasha declared and she turned and formed wings, two golden wings raised up out of her back and she flew after her husband and daughter and the DX kids who knew they were under attack from the Golden Goddess now.
"She's coming after us, Connie turn around!" Seth said and the giant condor spun around and faced the flying goddess-in-training.
"I don't know about this Seth, I think we should keep moving," Cameron said as Seth prepared to face off with his wife.
"No he's right, we have to knock her out of the air!" LC said and Havana held onto Connie.
"Please don't hurt my Mom Connie, I just want you to force her to land," Havana said and Connie nodded and she swiped the golden Sasha with her right wing but the golden shimmer that represented the presence of the Golden Goddess was poisonous to Connie who retreated from it immediately.
"Go to Florida, I'll take care of this," Seth said to LC and Cameron and he kissed Havana on the forehead, "I love you honey,"
"Daddy be careful!" Havana cried out as Seth called for Shawl and his flying prayer cloth came out of the West and caught him in the air.
"Let's go Shawl!" Seth cried knowing that the anointing from Heaven would protect him as he faced off with his now golden wife.
"You really think you can stop me from going to Florida with that flying prayer rug?!" Sasha yelled with scorn. "I always thought Shawl was the ugliest thing God ever gave you, but then those God Girls aren't exactly Miss USA,"
"Sticks and stones Sasha, I know you think you're Miss World but I'm about to make you the Deep Sea Queen!" Seth declared and he flung Shawl over Sasha like a parachute and together, they plummeted down to the Pacific Ocean. As they were milliseconds away from hitting the water, Seth repositioned himself back on top of Shawl as Sasha went down into the ocean.
"Help help, I can't swim, pull me out!" Sasha cried reaching out to Seth.
"Renounce the Golden Goddess and BAE then I can save you," Seth said. "If you don't renounce her I won't be able to pull you out of the water and you'll drown,"
"You'll never let me drown Seth, I know you God boy, your conscience would eat you alive if anything bad ever happened to me, now pull me out of this water damn it!" Sasha demanded and Seth told Shawl to retreat to the skies. "Where are you going, get back here and save me?!"
"I know you can swim, let's see if you can swim to Florida," Seth replied and he left his spluttering wife in the water knowing he had bided himself enough time to formulate a plan for when Golden Sasha resurfaced.
Sasha watched with genuine despair as Seth flew away from her but that despair quickly turned to rage and she electrocuted about a hundred fish as she swam to Florida from deep below the ocean leaving a golden stream behind as she made her way South from Cali. Sasha could swim alright and she was determined that by the time she made it to Florida, Seth and the God Girls wished that she had drowned in the Pacific Ocean.
