Chapter 9

When Lucas first wakes up, she looks everywhere, taking in everything around her, seeing that she was in a room, there was a window to her right and a desk right below it.

"I slept in a bed and it's better than sleeping on the sofa" [Thought] Lucas thought, taking advantage of the bed "I really need to find a way to stay strong" [Thought] closing his hand and opening it "That being is going to come after me, I'm sure " [Thought]

After some thought Lucas would get up and get tidy, he wanted to go out today to walk more around the city, so see all of Trolberg.

"But I have to be careful there's still that girl here" [Thought] Lucas thought and went down the stairs "Maybe Luca using my skills" [Thought].

Soon he arrives in the living room and finds Hilda and Johanna sitting on the sofa, seeing this scene Lucas ends up smiling, as soon as they both notice him, seeing his smile, they both also end up smiling in different ways, Johanna had a happy smile, Hilda had a beautiful smile and one looks worried.

"Sigh!, Good morning guys, I made you wait a long time" Lucas had let out a sigh of relief.

"No" Hilda said looking at him.

"Would you take a walk with me?" Luke asks.

Hilda had a strange expression with this question but ended up smiling "Yes, I would love to"

That interaction makes Johanna very happy, soon the three start to have lunch and then Lucas and Hilda start to go out to walk around Trolberg, it was a little difficult to walk because of all the smoke from the cars and their improved sense of smell.

"You don't like smoke at all, do you?" Hilda asks, noticing his discomfort.

"Yes, it's very bad, these smells are very unpleasant" Lucas responds with a disgusted face.

"Oh! Oh! Ah!, wow, that face of yours was really good" Hilda says, laughing a lot.

Lucas couldn't stop laughing a lot about this, even though the day wasn't bad they walked a lot and saw a lot of things.

"I realize that the big bird festival will start in two days" [Thought] Lucas thought seeing a pamphlet on a wall.

Lucas starts to think about how to get stronger for everything that happens, he thought about going to the Trolls outside at night for a good fight, also running a little while fully transformed would help a lot.

"Is Lucas okay?" Hilda asks worriedly seeing his worried face.

"Yes, I'm just worried about everything that happened" Lucas explains and lies too.

"Yes that was quite scary, do you know what that was?" Hilda speaks and asks.

"I've never seen anything like that in my life" Lucas replies "It's not a lie either, I've never seen anything like that" [Thought].

"Maybe we need to find out more about that creature" Hilda makes a suggestion.

"That might be a good idea, I already know where you can find the stuff" Lucas agrees with this information and starts releasing cumin.

Lucas started walking with Hilda to the library remembering the route, but sometimes they needed to ask someone to see if they were on the right path, after twenty minutes they got there, when they entered they could see several shelves of books.

"How shall we" Hilda was interrupted from her speech when a book fell on the table in front of her.

"I think this is what you are looking for" The speaker was a young adult female. She wears a gray sweater vest, a white blouse, gray leggings, and a black skirt with a black cape around her shoulders. Her hair is mostly black, but is purple at the ends.

Lucas can only let out a few laughs seeing the librarian who knows which book we need, looking at the book he reads the title "Magical creature and its habits"

"Wow, how did she know?" Hilda ends up asking Lucas.

"It's her job" Lucas responds lyingly so as not to spoil the story too much.

Soon the two spent a long time reading that book and learned a lot about several very interesting creatures, but none of them were the ones I attacked him, Lucas already knew he wouldn't find anything here but he still wanted to go out with Hilda.

"I don't think we're going to find what we're looking for here" Luca says he's already tired of reading.

"Yes, I learned about a lot of cool creatures" Hilda says enthusiastically.

"Yes, we learned a lot" Lucas had to admit that it was actually cool.

"Good and better we return to your mother" Lucas says after closing the book.

Soon they gave the book to the librarian and started walking home again, it was already midday and it was starting to get dark, as he walked Lucas let all his instincts loosen so he could feel and hear everything, with that he could feel several things. First thing almost every teenager had a smell of smoke but with a hint of something else that he didn't know what it was.

"I know these teenagers are tough, that's why that smell" [Thought] Lucas thinks.

Just while the stepsons were walking, he was able to see several people from Hilda's world, Trevo and his gang,

"How was your day?" Johanna asks with a smile.

"It was cool that we went to the library and read a lot, to find something about that creature" Hilda responds excitedly.

Lucas could notice several tremors in Johanna's body, and her smell released fear, he couldn't blame her, that was scary as hell.

"Yes, but we didn't discover anything" Lucas says to relieve the pressure.

"Yes, it's a shame, but we learned a lot about different types of creatures" Hilda said, still happy.

"I'm glad you're enjoying your day, why don't you go take a shower and have dinner" Johanna says, already recovering from the tremor.

"I can take it first, I'll go later" Lucas tells Hilda.

Hilda smiles and went, while Lucas stayed in the living room watching some TV, he couldn't find the programs too strange, since he himself was on a program, so he could go take a shower when Hilda came downstairs.

"Because I feel like I forgot something" Hilda speaks softly and thoughtfully.

"Hilda don't forget to spoil your dirty clothes for me so I can wash them" Johanna says remembering Hilda.

"Damn" Hilda ends up remembering and turning all red.

In the bathroom, Lucas couldn't stop looking at the clothes thrown on the floor, especially Hilda's underwear, but soon he shook his head to let that idea go and began to undress to take a shower, but soon the door was opened abruptly. by Hilda who had a very red face.

"WAIT I CHEATED ON A COI..." Hilda says shouting until she notices Lucas naked in front of her "EXCUSE ME" she says, closing the door with a loud bang.

"That was unexpected" Lucas says a little embarrassed.

Soon he went to the shower and after a few minutes he came down holding all the dirty clothes, Hilda seeing this could only blush even more after what she saw, Johanna realizing this tried not to laugh at the event.

"Thank you for bringing the clothes" Johanna says, still trying not to laugh.

"You're welcome, it was nothing" Lucas says sincerely.

"I'm going to put this in the machine and make dinner" Johanna says to be removed.

Lucas went to sit on the sofa with Hilda but she still couldn't look at him, seeing this he sighed and thought about what he was saying.

"I'm not mad, just a little embarrassed, but it's not my fault" Lucas says seriously and calmly.

Hilda, hearing this, becomes calmer "I'm sorry, I should have knocked on the door, just be very nervous about seeing a lot of underwear" she says, still a little nervous.

"It's okay, and compressive, friends" Lucas calms her and offers his hand.

"Friends" Hilda says, shaking his hand, but for some reason she didn't like being called a friend.

Soon the three went to eat and watch TV together, without realizing that in the window there was a white cat looking at them, he soon started walking until he caught a girl.

"Ghost, what did you discover?" The girl asks.

Soon the cat starts to stare at the girl and soon its face starts to change to a small shade of red.

"Wow, I didn't expect that, but I still don't know exactly what his power is" The girl says, scratching her head "The festival of the big bird will soon begin, I also imagine that the others will also act".

The girl had a face of pure concern but soon she changed into determined, and started walking home with her cat.
