As Luz carried Amity all the way home while everyone walked ahead of them, everyone had thoughts about what other abilities Luz could develop since she swallowed the literal life blood of magic in the demon realm.
Everyone leaned closer as they were all curious as well, some of them even wanting to take notes.
Never had something like this happened before, it was unclear if something like this had its limits.
"I wish I had more paper." Lilith said to herself.
Another stack of paper landed in front of her.
"You're welcome." Jss2141 said to her.
"Uh, can I get a refill on apple blood?" Eda asked.
A new chilled bottle appeared in her hand as Eda smiled and drank as she watched.
Willow thought she would grow extra limbs like wings to fly or spider like arms to climb.
Hunter thought she create an army of clones at her command.
Gus thought she could grow to be as tall as the Titan.
Vee thought she could control life and death to bring back the rest of the basilisk race.
Even Camila thought she would grow a tail or horns to look more like what she assumed a Titan would look like.
Lilith wrote down each and every question they all thought, wondering this herself as she already began to have theories herself.
The unknown was staring them in the face, it was hard not to think, even Luz was wondering if she would get any other abilities.
'Could I develop a sonic roar like King?' Luz thought, moving a hand to rub her throat. 'That would make Bard classes both very interesting, and very terrifying.'
Once they made it back to the house, Camila decided to order lunch for them but they all had to make a choice.
"A sonic roar like me? Why?" King asked from the confusing thought.
"She's just thinking aloud, there is no telling what will happen to her." Jss2141 said.
"And that does sound cool! Can you imagine me roaring like you, King? We could be roaring buddies." Luz said to him.
"And twice as loud." Eda said. "If you two break my windows I'm going to be very mad, also proud, but very mad."
"I vote for Chinese." Gus said.
"Chinese? What's that?" Cat asked.
Suddenly, a bowl of genuine Chinese food appeared in Cat's lap with a brief notecard on Chinese culture and food.
"Read quickly and enjoy." Jss2141 said.
"No, tacos." Willow said, shaking her head.
Skara tilted her head at that one.
"Just a heads up.If anyone has any question about Earth food, you will be given said food and an info card." Jss2141 said, snapping his fingers.
A tray of tacos, soft and hard shell, appeared in front of Skara with the card being about Mexican/Spanish/Dominican-Republic Culture.
"No, the obvious choice is pizza! Extra large with stuffed crust." Vee said before gesturing to Luz. "With Luz, we need to think BIG for her new stomach."
Amelia and Boscha wondered about that food, and a pizza landed in front of them...shaped like a heart.
Both of them blushed from this as an info card appeared about Italian and how it was one of the cities of romance on Earth.
This made them blush more.
"Um…..so…" Amelia said, looking away.
"Y-You can have the first bite." Boscha said quickly.
'Boschmelia is going nicely.' Jss2141 said.
"If we did that, we may have to order four of them just for her." Hunter said.
"That's optimistic." Amity said, being set on the couch. "Her stomach is a bottomless pit, she'll win any of the eating contests she enters no problem."
"I've won once already!" Luz said, with a smile.
"Luz, that tentacle eating contest shouldn't count." Eda said.
"Tentacles?" Camila asked, looking at Luz. "Please tell me they were cooked."
"... I plead the fifth." Luz said quickly, glancing away.
"LUZ!" Camila shouted at her.
"On the bright side, that's probably the least dangerous thing she'll be eating." Jss2141 said.
"That doesn't make me feel better!" Camila shouted before a coffee drink appeared in her hand.
"Ice Frappuccino Maciano with caramel and cream. It should help." Jss2141 said.
Camila instantly chugged it.
"Well, I'm going to need to make sure she has a massive cup when she becomes a Titan." Jss2141 said, making sure the speaker was NOT on before saying it.
"The tentacle eating competition doesn't count since if you don't finish, you die." Amity said to her.
Camila did a large spit take, making a mess that was instantly cleaned up!
"DIE?!" She shouted as she got an instant refill.
"I still won!" Luz said with her arms crossed.
"Excuse me?" Camila asked in shock. "A tentacle eating contest?!"
"I'm surprised she's focused on that rather than the you lose you die concept." Hunter whispered to Willow, who nodded.
"That is odd for a parent." Darius comments.
Eberwolf nodded in agreement.
"You know. Humans cut up and cook tentacles before eating them. It's called Calmari." Vee said with a fond smile. "They're pretty good. And you don't usually die if you don't finish an eating contest first."
"Most human eating contests don't!" Camila shouted, drinking her Ice Frappuccino Maciano with caramel and cream again to calm down.
It... somewhat worked.
"Yeah that's was a very weird day. Even by Luz's standards." Willow whispered.
"Now back to food, I am thinking we go with Vee's suggestion and order pizza." Luz said.
"How many could one human eat?" Hettie asked.
On this day, Camila's wallet cried. Even with the large vegetables and fruits Willow created with her magic, Camila still had a LOT to pay for as she ended up ordering 8 extra large pizzas! And five of them were just for Luz!
"Oh Titan." Amelia and Boscha said with their eyes going wide.
They had each had half the pizza, and even aren't sure they'll finish it.
"My wallet…." Camila said in fear.
"If it makes you feel better, you're pretty much going to be given gold in the Isles." Jss2141 said, "That's the kind of thing that happens when your daughter becomes a God."
Camila sighed in relief as wiped some sweat away.
'Gracias, dio.' Camila thought.
"Cha-Ching!" Eda shouted with a grin.
"Edalyn!" Lilith shouted.
"Hey, not my fault I'm going to be in the one percent." Eda said, very happy and proud to be Luz's unofficial second mother right now.
Camila was so saddened by this, she nearly ate a whole pizza by herself to drown her sorrow!
'I need to ask for a raise.' Camila thought.
'Ain't that the truth, even before this.' Camila thought with a groan, drinking more I.F.M with CC.
Luz really hated that she was causing her mom pain in the bank account.
'Next time, I'll stick to mostly fruit Willow grows.' Luz thought as she put three slices of meat lovers on top of each other and ate them at the same time.
"Well, at least Luz doesn't like it either." Eda said, "Not her fault she eats almost as much as King. Blame that Titans Blood."
"I'm a growing demon! I need food!" King argued.
"You've got a big mouth, you know that?" Vee commented on Luz's eating.
"You're one to talk, Ms. Magic Sucker." Luz replied, smirking at her. "Your mouth was literally-"
"No sexual innuendo in this house!" Camila shouted at them both.
…….Nearly everyone in the theater bursted out laughing from that comment. Even Lilith had to stifle her laugh.
Both girls laughed, amused by this and their argument.
'How lewd!' Terra thought, covering her mouth to hide her smile.
'Children these days. But I am interested in learning about basilisk's biology and anatomy.' Hettie thought.
"Okay, mom." They both said, rolling their eyes.
"Um, what's a sexual innuendo?" Gus asked.
Everyone stopped laughing as they turned to Gus, who looked a little confused.
"Gus, have you not had….the talk?" Luz asked.
"Of course I have! I know about the bird demons and the fire bees!" Gus said, crossing his arms. "I'm only two years younger than you, I'm not a baby!"
"Well, then, a se-"
Several people covered Luz's mouth.
"You will learn when you're older!" Camila quickly said.
"Yeah!" Willow added.
"You'll learn when you're older." Camila said quickly
"How old?" Gus asked.
Old enough." Camila said to him.
"Exactly." Camila said as everyone uncovered Luz's mouth.
Later that night, Luz and Hunter were doing the dishes. Luz looked up and saw the look on Hunter's face.
'He's concerned. But of what?' Darius thought.
"Hey, something wrong?" Luz asked.
"Belos is out there, doing who knows what, hurt who knows who." Hunter said, gazing out the kitchen window. "He could be watching us right now, and we'd have no idea."
"He won't hurt you again, I promise." Luz said.
'A little late for that but…hopefully I won't get more scars.' Hunter thought, looking at his future self.
Hunter held his chest.
"It's not me that I'm worried about." Hunter said.
The somber mood returned to the room. Especially Flapjack as he has to accept he might die in the future to save his friend. Not that he regrets it.
Darius felt his brand new fatherly instincts kicking in, wanting nothing more to protect Hunter from Belos. Mainly killing him if he could as he clenched his fists in anger
'We need to move the plan forward faster.' Darius thought, glancing at Eberwulf and Raine.
They both glanced at him and nodded in agreement, wanting to protect Hunter and Flapjack as well.
Luz put a hand on Hunter's shoulder.
"I'm sorry I couldn't save Flapjack." Luz said, saddened by this once more. "I keep thinking I was doing the right thing when I drank the Titan's Blood, I thought I would be able to stop whatever he had planned. I mean, I was dying, so I wasn't thinking about the consequences. I didn't think about how you would all be stuck here, I didn't think about how I would be hurting others... I just keep making things worse."
"Luz, I don't think you made things worse." Willow said, "If anything you probably saved all of us from the sound of it."
"But what about everyone else?" Luz asked.
"Just because you didn't save them now doesn't mean you won't save them later." King said.
"Yeah, honestly, how many times has someone gotten into a situation that you've had to save them from?" Eda asked.
"I don't know, a couple?" Luz questioned.
"More like dozens. You're a good kid and you always lean a hand when someone needs it." Eda said, patting Luz's head.
"Eda, you're messing up my hair." Luz complained, smiling a tiny bit.
"You mean the hair I've never seen you brush?" Eda asked.
"You don't know my morning process." Luz said, crossing her arms.
"Yes I do. It's permanent bed head, you just make it look stylish with some hair gel." Eda said with a grin.
"That's a lie!" Luz quickly said, too quickly.
"Hmmm." Camila hummed, looking at her daughter.
'I always did wonder why Luz had a lot of hair gel.' Vee thought.
"Yeah, you do... like helping Willow and Amity become friends again, helping me see what kind of monster Belos is, helping Gus with his human club, helping Vee, who literally stole your life. Not to mention helping Eda break into a jail after you knew her for five minutes... yeah, clearly you make everything worse for everyone." Hunter said, smiling at Luz. "Luz, you may have shown Belos the light glyph, which helped him meet the collector, but if it wasn't you, then it would've been someone else. Belos is a manipulator, he's a trickster, he used people and then gets rid of them. If it wasn't for you, then everyone would be dead right now. Eda would be petrified, our friends wouldn't have become friends... you... you saved me. I thought I knew who I was, but when you showed me that I don't have to be what anyone tells me-"
He was cut off when Luz hugged him.
'Aw.' Most of the crowd thought.
Luz didn't hesitate to hug Hunter again, or for the first time timeline wise.
"Thank you." She whispered.
Hunter, unsure of what to do, just hugged her back.
"You're welcome…I guess." Hunter said, not used physical affection of any kind.
A few seconds last and Luz was still hugging Hunter.
"Uh... can someone remove her from me?" He asked.
'Yeah, Luz is a hugger.' Camila and Eda thought as she went to help Hunter.
'I don't like this.' Amity thought as she went to help HER Luz AWAY from Hunter.
"Thank you, Hunter." Luz said, with tears falling down.
Hunter returned the hug, only to feel something wet. He looked down and saw that Luz had grabbed a knife a little too hard.
"Luz, you're bleeding." Hunter said, putting the knife down and looking at her hand. "Okay, I think I... Luz... has your blood always been blue?"
And thus, Luz was officially a Titan to be.
