Yo! This is my first fanfic, so it may be of a low quality, I wanted to do something for the upcoming Continental Competitions, Euros and Copa America, I love football, and I love Re:Zero so here we are. A few caveats, however. First of all, This story doesn't fit into Canon at all, since I gave Rem her memory and Name back, and removed the Sleeping beauty Disease, but since I also love Garfiel as a Character I wanted to keep him and Frederica in aswell. Secondly, Rem doesn't speak much in this chapter or the next as whilst writing this, I was still wondering whether or not to give her name and memories back. Thirdly, I added my own OC, in which I'll dripfeed information on his character throughout the Story. I added him so that there were an even number of participants, and because I didn't know how to Write Roswaal's character post Arc 4, Hope you enjoy though. This fanfic is safe for anime onlies
Chapter 1: Boredom
It's a summer midday, and for the first time in forever, the Emilia Camp is rife with boredom... With the 4 Maids and Subaru working at the Manor nowadays, it doesn't take long to do daily maintenance plus Roswaal is out on business. Otto doesn't have any internal affairs to deal with at this time and Emilia is on Study break due to Roswaal's absence, in addition The two Warrior Boys, the Sword and Shield of the Emilia Camp, David Osunde and Garfiel Tinsel, are lazing about, tired from sparring, especially the former, and since Subaru is bored, Beatrice is subsequently bored also. This resulted in everyone lounging around the main hall, with nothing to do. Subaru is sprawled out on the floor of the main hall staring at the ceiling with Beatrice lying next to him, sunrays beating down directly onto them. Garfiel and David are laid down, chucking a blue crystal Garfiel found back and forth, with the most deadpan of expressions. Otto is sat reading a book on economics and finance, but can't help but notice the exasperation oozing out of his peers. Emilia is sat with a book, too bored to even read it, and thus is just fiddling around with the pages, meaninglessly. Petra wipes the same window for the 4th time whilst Frederica is sat drinking tea. Ram and Rem are leant up against the wall, one staring into space, and the other, into Subaru.…

Just 15 seconds later it got to breaking point
"...This is so boriinggg!!!" Betty exclaimed, falling back onto Subaru's lap. He sighs in resignation.
"You can say that again, Beako…" Subaru replies, giving her headpats.
At this point, the entire mansion is paying attention to their conversation.
"Betty is sick of boredom!
Betty's tired of all this idle time!" she exclaimed, pouting her lips and crossing her arms in a spoiled, childlike manner.
"...But what can we do about it…" Emilia Inquired, concerned at the rapidly degrading mood of the great Spirit, and the dull, dreary, dreamlike states of her peers. Another pause flowed throughout the whole mansion.

This one more short lived, as Frederica decides to speak up.
"I believe boredom is a result of an empty mind. Why don't we do something to kill time, as a bonding experience?"
Everyone's heads perk up and look at Frederica when she speaks up, her words piquing their interest. The idea of doing some kind of group activity to keep their minds occupied sounds quite appealing at the moment. Some of them, such as Subaru, Otto and David, eagerly express their agreement.
"I concur." Otto agrees "We should do something to pass the time and bond as a group. But what shall we do?"

David rolls back onto his stomach again, disinterested.
"This is one of the times we could use one of your fanciful ideas, Subaru…" He sighed, his eyes barely ajar.
"Yeah, what David says, I suppose," Betty added, forcing the mantle onto Subaru.
"Hmm…"
Subaru hums to himself as he ponders, thinking of ideas that they can do to cure the boredom. Suddenly, his eyes light up, as he comes to a conclusion.
"I got it!" Subaru exclaims, causing the Great Spirit to jump up in shock.
"Why don't … we plaaaaaaayyyy…" Subaru jumps up from the floor, pumps his fists and assumes the famous Natsuki Subaru Pose.
"A game of Soccer!!!"
