Last time, Musuko and Benson succeeded in their mission. They managed to defeat Diaboromon with a miraculous power that none of them understood. When they returned to the human world, everyone was impressed to see their digimon have digivolved to rookie. Meanwhile, having learn of what happened, Musuko's parents are beginning to worry that their child is being pulled into something dangerous...and he just might be.

Burning Wings of Love

Down in Odaiba, Benson was still thinking a lot about what he and Musuko has gone through. He just laid in his bed and stared up at the digivice. He might be young, but he's rather mature for his age. Unlike Musuko, who is getting excited about the possible adventure, Benson is taking a more practical approach on things. He's wondering what this all means with Patamon wondering what Benson is thinking.

"Hey, little bro." Benson looked up and saw a girl with long blonde hair tied back coming into his room.

"Hi, Lila." Benson said. Lila Takashi: age twelve, Benson's older sister, and is very caring to all the kids.

"Are you still thinking about that thing?" Lila asked as she sat on his bed as Benson sat up. "You really freaked Mom and Dad out when they saw that."

"Yeah. I just want to know what this means." Benson said. "Why did this happen to me and Musuko?"

"If Dad's books are any indication, I think you know what it means, but Mom isn't going to like it." Lila said. "For now, I think it might be best you try not to think too much about it. Mom and Dad wouldn't want anything to happen to you." Benson figured Lila was right, but Benson can't just simply ignore this, can he? Lila got up from his bed and was on his way out, but that was when the D-3 started beeping and they knew what that might mean. "Oh boy... Benson, maybe you should ignore that, or at least tell Dad about it." Benson was going to do just that, but that was when the D-3 shined and it was taking him and Patamon away. "Benson!" Lila reached out to him, but then the two just disappeared. "Oh no... Mom is going to freak."

...

The Digital World

It wasn't just Benson that was pulled in, but it was Musuko as well. Both of them were being called back to the Digital World. The call was answered as Musuko and Veemon found themselves transported straight to the Digital World once again. They know it had to be that as they found themselves in a forest and saw digimon all around.

"We made it! I don't know how, but we made it!" Musuko cheered.

"Do you think Benson and Patamon are here, too?" Veemon questioned.

"Yep. We're here." They both turned around and saw Benson and Patamon were there as well.

"This is really weird. We were just sitting in our room and we were pulled here." Patamon said. "What's going on? Why are we here?"

"Well, that's what we're going to find out." Musuko said as he was looking forward to this. "I think something is going on here and we're being called here to handle it." He claimed as he was feeling like a superhero.

"Musuko, you're starting to get ahead of yourself." Benson said.

"Hi, guys." They heard another voice and weren't expecting another to be there. They were surprised to see Natalie and Yokomon were there as well. "What's going on? How did we get here?"

"Natalie?!" Musuko said with surprise.

"Uh... Hey, cousin." Benson said as he wasn't sure what else to say.

"What are you two doing here?" Veemon said.

"I was on my way to your house, Musuko, when you ran passed me." Natalie said.

"We followed after you and we soon found ourselves here." Yokomon said.

"Wait. Lila was right with me when I was pulled in, but she wasn't." Benson said as he thought it over and realized something. "Natalie, maybe you should check your pockets."

"My pockets? Okay, but I don't see..." Natalie checked her pockets and soon felt something that wasn't there before. She pulled it out and it was a red D-3. "What's this thing? Where did come from?!" They were all surprised to see she had one. Benson and Musuko pulled out their own and showed it to Natalie. "Guys, what's going on?!" She asked as she was a little freaked. Seeing Natalie was getting a little uneasy, they all sat together and told her everything that really happened to them. "So that's how you guys got your digimon to digivolve. I overheard my parents talking about the planes, but that's what really happened?"

"That's right, and now we're here." Musuko said.

"This is...so cool!" Natalie cheered as she didn't seem scared anymore.

"You really think so?" Benson questioned.

"Yeah! Benson, this is like something out of Uncle T.K.'s books!" Natalie said. "Come on, you've got to admit that this is rather cool." Benson thought it over...

"I guess when you put it like that, you're right." Benson said as he was starting to come around to the idea. "This is rather cool. Our parents had a lot of fun adventures when they first came to the Digital World, and now it looks like we're getting some of it as well."

"That's what I'm talking about!" Musuko said. "I told you this was going to be something awesome!"

"But this also means that something serious is going on." Benson said. "Shouldn't we contact our parents or something?"

"With what? We don't have a phone or anything. Besides, I'm sure they'll find us." Musuko said. "In the meantime, I think we have work to do on our own."

"Yeah... What are we doing here in the first place? Why were we brought here?" Natalie questioned.

"Good question." Benson said as he pulled out his D-3. "Why were we pulled back?" He moved it around and then it started alerting them about something. It was like it detected something and told them what direction to go in. Benson looked in that direction and noticed a mountain on the trail. "It looks like whatever we're here might be on that mountain."

"Are we gonna have to climb up there?" Natalie questioned.

"Looks like it." Musuko said.

"Natalie, maybe we should try to contact your parents. They're going to be really worried about you." Yokomon said. "I bet Toby is going to be scared his big sister is gone."

"You might be right, but we don't have anyway to call them. I think Musuko is right, we're just going to have to hope they can find us." Natalie said.

"Natalie, are you coming or not? Don't tell me you were just all talk." Musuko teased as he and Benson went on ahead.

"Ha! I'll make you eat those words!" Natalie called as she and Yokomon hurried after them. All of them made their way to the mountain, but they had no idea that someone or something was actually tailing them. They all kept on moving since they really had nowhere else to go. As they were walking, they followed a river up stream, and it looks like following it will reach the mountain. They all kept on moving to see what could be up there for them, but it was a tedious walk.

"Oh man. That mountain seems farther away than it looks." Musuko complained.

"We've only been walking for about five minutes. I thought you were an athlete, soccer star." Benson teased. As they all kept moving, Yokomon looked to the side and spotted some apples in trees.

"Yummy! Look, Natalie! I found apples, and I'm hungry!" Yokomon said.

"Good eye." Natalie said as she hurried over to one of the trees. "If we're going to climb that mountain, we're going to need our strength."

"Good idea. I'm a little hungry myself." Benson said. Deciding they need some food, each of them managed to get an apple for themselves.

"Here, Yokomon." Natalie said as she got an apple for her partner since she couldn't reach.

"Thanks, Natalie." Yokomon said and helped herself to an apple. As Yokomon ate the apple, something suddenly came over her and she began to glow.

"Yokomon?! What is it?!" Natalie said as she was a little concerned, but Yokomon just simply grew and became a different digimon. She was now a digimon known as Biyomon.

"I think you mean Biyomon."

"You just digivolved! You digivolved into Biyomon's, just like Mom's!" Natalie said as they were all amazed to see that Yokomon suddenly digivolved. "How did you do it?!"

"I don't know! It just suddenly came over me and just simply let it happen." Biyomon claimed.

"That's weird. When DemiVeemon became Veemon, he did it to help me out against those Keramon." Musuko said. "All Yokomon did was eat an apple."

"I guess digimon digivolve differently sometimes." Benson said. "My dad told me that his Patamon and the others digivolved because he and the others shared their energy with their digimon. Their bond is what fueled their ability to digivolve. He tried to explain it as best as he could, but all I really got was that the stronger the bond, the stronger the digimon."

"Yeah. Remember when we all had my mom as our kindergarten teacher?" Musuko questioned. "Not only did she love it, but one of the things she taught us was that our digimon are friends we'll have forever, and that friendship helps them become stronger."

"Who knew you actually could learn." Veemon joked with a laugh. "But I get it. When I first digivolved, all I could really think about was helping you, Musuko. Just simply because you're my buddy."

"That's how I felt with Benson." Patamon said. This is incredible. They're so young, but it seems like they understand enough about the relationship between humans and digimon. As that was going on, they were about to receive some unwanted company. Biyomon could tell that something was coming their way.

"What's wrong?" Natalie asked.

"I hear something." Biyomon said. That was when something flew right over their heads and they were all knocked down by the tailwind. All of them looked up and saw a dragon-like digimon right over their heads. "That's an Airdramon!"

"Is he here to say hello?" Veemon questioned. That was when Airdramon attacked by breathing fire at them. When that happened, all of them ran for it and barely avoided the flames. "I guess that would be a no!" All of them were running for it while Airdramon chased after them and kept attacking.

"Why is Airdramon attacking us?! We didn't do anything to him!" Patamon questioned.

"I don't know! Just keep running!" Benson said as they all tried running as fast as they could. All of them kept on running, but they were going to get cut off as something swam around in the river as well. It managed to get ahead of them and emerged out of the water.

"Yikes! Seadramon!" Veemon said.

"Some Seadramon are nice, but I don't think this one is!" Musuko said. He was certainly right about that. Seadramon fired a blast of ice and completely cut them off from their path. They were trapped on both sides by Seadramon and Airdramon where it seemed like there was no way out.

"Natalie, watch out!" Biyomon said as Airdramon was coming right at them. Seeing that, Biyomon did what she had to do to protect Natalie.

"Spiral Twister!" Biyomon used her own attack, but the attack just bounced off Airdramon as Airdramon swooped at them. Musuko and the kids braced themselves, but nothing really happened.

"Did he miss?" Musuko questioned.

"Not quite!" Benson said as he pointed up. All of them looked up and saw Airdramon had a hold of Biyomon by his teeth. "Biyomon needs help! Patamon, you've got to do something!"

"Veemon, let's lend a hand!" Musuko said. Both of their digimon agreed to that with both of them jumping into the fight.

"Veemon digivolve to...Veedramon!"

"Patamon digivolve to...Angemon!"

Angemon tried flying up to Airdramon, but that was when Seadramon stepped in as he smashed his tail against Angemon and knocked him back to the ground.

"Out of the way!" Veedramon called. He jumped up to Seadramon and tried to fight him off.

"Wait. Where's Natalie?" Musuko questioned. Benson and Musuko looked around and didn't see Natalie anywhere until Benson spotted her

"Up there!" Benson said as he pointed up. They both saw that Natalie was on Airdramon as well and was holding on for dear life. She might be in real trouble now.

...

Izzy

"How are we coming? Noticed any more strange activities in the Digital World yet, Jim?"

"Nothing too out of the ordinary, Professor Takenouchi." Jim claimed. Jim Kido, Joe's older brother, and Mr. Takenouchi, Sora's father, aided Izzy. Together, the three of them made a team that researched the Digital World. Upon learning about the strange signals they detected from the Digital World, Izzy and his team have worked to find it out. Just then, Izzy and Tentomon came running in.

"Put everything on hold! We've got a serious situation! It's a code red!" Tentomon said.

"I just heard from a few of the others and their kids are missing! They might have been pulled into the Digital World!" Izzy said.

"Are you sure, Izzy?" Jim asked.

"I am. It turns out that Musuko and Benson were in the area we detected those strange signals." Izzy said as he got to work on his computer. "Luckily, they both have D-3s, and that means we might be able to track their signal and find them in the Digital World."

"Let me help with that. Maybe I can get a visual." Jim said as they both got to work. With their advance technology, they can get a set of eyes in the Digital World. "I think I got something!" They found their location and saw that they were in real trouble with Airdramon and Seadramon.

"What's going on out there?! What did those kids get mixed up in?" Tentomon questioned.

"Oh no... It gets worse." Jim said as he spotted something. "Professor, your granddaughter is there!"

"Natalie?!" Takenouchi said as he took a look and saw his granddaughter was in danger herself and was really scared for her safety now.

...

The Digital World

"Angemon, you need to get up there and help Natalie before something happens to her!" Benson called. While Veedramon tried to hold Seadramon down, Angemon flew up to try and save Natalie. However, Seadramon was able to try and blast Angemon with ice and froze his wings.

"No! My wings are frozen! I can't fly!" Angemon said as he dropped to the ground. Natalie was in real danger with her holding on to dear life on Airdramon's tail.

"Okay! I like to get off now!" Natalie cried as she was really scared now.

"Natalie!" Biyomon cried. Natalie looked ahead and saw Biyomon might be in even greater danger as she could be crushed by Airdramon's teeth. Seeing that, Natalie's fear was disappearing and she got serious as she bravely tried climbing up Airdramon.

"I'm coming, Biyomon!" Natalie called as she tried to get closer. "Hey, you flying reptile! Let go of my friend!"

"Natalie, be careful!" Biyomon called. Natalie kept trying to get closer, but Airdramon made a sharp turn and that sudden shift flew Natalie off. "No! Natalie!" Biyomon called as Natalie fell to the ground. Biyomon pushed as hard as she could. She could feel power coming over her as she was able to free herself and dived down. "Natalie!" She called as she let the power take her over.

"Biyomon digivolve to..." Biyomon went through the same process as the others as a beam shot from the D-# with space forming around her. Data filled the space and Biyomon became a new digimon. "Birdramon!"

Birdramon flew down to Natalie and was able to catch her. Natalie's own Birdramon has taken flight and is flying high in the air. Natalie and the others couldn't believe that she was able to digivolve once again.

"Natalie, you've allowed me to digivolve. Your love gives me strength." Birdramon said.

"My love?" Natalie questioned.

"You were willing to risk everything for me simply because you care. That is love, and that love gave me strength." Birdramon said with Natalie amazed she had that power. With Birdramon, they have a chance. Airdramon kept attacking as he fired a series of fireballs at her, but Birdramon flew around and avoided each attack until she got right over Airdramon.

"Meteor Wings!" Birdramon unleashed a series of flames that came down like meteors. Airdramon tried to avoid them, but one managed to hit Airdramon and knocked him right out of the sky. Some of those flames even melted away the ice that Seadramon left behind, including freeing Angemon.

"Veedramon, finish this up!" Musuko called.

"V-Nova Blast!" Veedramon unleashed his own attack and blasted Seadramon rather hard with him dropping falling into the ocean and was defeated. That means the kids and their digimon actually managed to win and got out of this one.

"We really won! I knew we would win!" Musuko cheered.

"And what's more is that Biyomon digivolved to champion!" Benson said.

"It gets even better." Birdramon said as she flew down. "Climb on, everyone. I can get us to the mountain faster."

"That is great!" Natalie said as she was loving this. "Birdramon, you are amazing! Now I know how Mom felt! Come on, you slowpokes! Let's get to that mountain!" She called as it sounds like Natalie is onboard with all of this. Having Natalie and Birdramon around will be a great addition to this growing team. However, what they didn't know was that there was a third digimon that was following them, spying on them.

...

The Mountain

Thanks to Birdramon, she was able to carry everyone over to the mountain they had to be at in less time than it would have taken by walking. Once they got there, they landed down and kept their eyes open for anything that seemed to be out of the ordinary.

"Well, we're here." Musuko said.

"But what are we doing here?" Natalie questioned. "Are you sure this is the right spot?"

"We were pointed to this direction." Benson said. "There must be something here." All of them looked around for where it could be or rather what it could be.

"Hi, guys." All of them were surprised at what they found. On that very mountain was another one of their friend that they didn't expect to see.

"Mason?!" All of them said. None of them expected to see Mason up there.

"Are we glad to see you guys!" They were surprised again because they were expecting to see Tanemon, but they saw her digivolved form, Palmon, instead. How can Mason be a part of this too?

...

In the next adventure, Mason shares his story with other digimon. Even though his family seems to have complications, he doesn't seem to let it bother him. What might is another digimon attacking.
