In order to ensure that the children escaped from Daemon, Hudiemon sacrificed herself for them. That had them all shaken pretty good. Stranded in the Digital World with no idea what to do, they tried to figure that out when they were attacked by Vilemon and Tuskmon. Finding the strength and resolve to keep fighting, Musuko and Veedramon fought back and inspired the others to fight. However, Daemon is sending something after them.

Four Old Digimon
"Rats. Darn it, darn it." Vilemon complained as he paced around. "I can't believe those kids got the better of me like that. I better think of something or else Master Daemon is going to have my wings." Vilemon certainly doesn't want to face the wrath of Daemon, but how is he going to get those kids? Just then, a dark portal opened up and four other digimon came walking out from there. "Either Daemon has been busy or it's snowing in the bad place."

The Real World
Izzy has been at work all night. He's trying to find a way for those kids to come back, but the sun already came up and there's nothing now. Perhaps it really was a good thing the parents left their digimon behind to watch over their other kids. However, almost all of them have run out of patience with Izzy.
"That's it!" Matt said as he couldn't take it anymore. "Izzy, I can't wait around anymore! I'm going to go home, get Gabumon, drop Tobi off with Sora's mother, and then I'm coming back here! Garurumon and I will search the entire Digital World if we have to for us to get my daughter and the others back here!"
"I'm sorry, but I'm not just trying to locate them." Izzy said. "I've been trying to get a gateway to stabilize so we can get them to come back. I don't know what it is, but something has been causing interference with the gateways for days now. After all, it wasn't easy to get the one to send you and Tai in operating properly."
"What could be causing that? How come the gates are having trouble?" T.K. wondered.
"Could Daemon have something to do with that?" Sora said.
"Who cares right now? We need to get our kids back here while we still can." Mina said.
"I think I have a way to do just that." Izzy said. "It's almost ready. I just need to try and locate where the kids are, and..." Izzy was at work until he finally got something. "There they are!"
"Finally!" Kari said as they were all hoping their kids were safe.

The Digital World
Since it no longer seemed safe to stay where they were, the kids decided that they have to keep moving. There's not much else they could do except wait for Daemon and his evil forces to show up and attack them again.
"Are we there yet?" Mason questioned.
"We don't even know where we're going." Benson said. "All I do know is that we can't stay in one place or else we'll be sitting ducks to Vilemon and whoever else comes after us."
"There's got to be a way back home. There just has to be." Musuko said.
"Calm down, everyone." Natalie said. "Our parents know we're out here. I'm sure they're working on some way to get us back home. We'll just have to be patient until something actually happens. In the meantime, let's try to pass the time. Maybe we could sing a song or something."
"With your singing?" Musuko teased.
"Hey! You know I'm a great singer! Not only am I one of the best athletes at school, but I can also sing! I've got my mom's athletic skills with my dad's music skills." Natalie said.
"Yeah, except he actually had talent." Mason teased with everyone laughing and Natalie getting annoyed.
"Kids! Kids, can you hear me?!" Izzy called as he managed to get in contact with the kids once again.
"It's Izzy! It's about time!" Veemon said as they were all relieved to hear from him again.
"I'm glad you all are okay." Izzy said. "We lost contact with you kids for a while, but at least it seems like you're all safe."
"For now, but we've got a really big problem." Musuko said. "Vilemon could be chasing after us with some big and nasty digimon. Not to mention Hudiemon is..." He couldn't really bring himself to say it, but he didn't need to. They all understood.
"Oikawa was the reason we kept getting pulled into the Digital World, but we don't know where he is now." Benson said. "Is there a way for us to come back home?"
"I have a way to do just that." Izzy said. "Your digivices have a detection function in them. I've managed to open up a digital gate, but I can't seem to get it to your location. It won't open near you."
"Why not?" Patamon asked.
"Something keeps running some sort of interference." Izzy said. "It's been happening for a long time now. That's why traveling between the two worlds has been a little risky, and it seems to be getting worse. Anyway, I did manage to get one open for you all to come home. Your digivices should be able to guide you to where it is. Just head straight there."
"These things can really guide us?" Natalie questioned. She moved her digivice around to get some sort of reaction, and it soon started beeping once she had it in the right direction. "It must be that way."
"We better get going." Benson said.
"We'll get there a lot faster if we ride on Birdramon and Veedramon." Natalie suggested.
"Good idea. I'm ready to go home." Mason said.
"Yeah. Let's get going." Musuko said as they all started moving, but they had no idea that they were being watched. They can't escape Daemon or his power that easily.

The Real World
"There. All we have to do is wait for them to come through the gate. It should bring them right here." Izzy said. Seems like the only thing left to do is to wait.
"Izzy, I still don't understand. How come a gate can't open right near the kids? Why do they have to travel?" Mimi asked.
"How should I explain this?" Izzy said as he tried to think of way to explain it. "Well, imagine it's like you're video-chatting with someone. The gate acts like a connection between your computer and the other person's computer. With a strong wifi signal and processing speed, the live footage comes in clear without any problem. However, if there's a connection problem, it makes it difficult to keep it opened and going. The problem here is that there's something constantly running interference, which I haven't been able to identify. The interference is so bad that I'm not capable of opening a gate near the kids. It's like the only option they have is to go to a different computer, or in this case that would be a location. More or less the same."
"I'm still not getting it." Davis said.
"He's saying that something is preventing him from opening a gate near the kids." Sora said.
"But that wasn't a problem when Tai and Matt went to get the kids. Why is it now?" Kari questioned.
"My thoughts exactly. I can work around it, but something keeps causing problems and doesn't seem to be improving." Izzy said. "Hopefully, the kids can make it before anything happens and the gate closes." They all are hoping that, or before anything happens to them.

The Digital World
The kids were starting to make good time by having Birdramon and Veedramon carry them to where the gate should be. They made it out of the forest and were in a clear field. Once they were, they could see the gate was just up ahead.
"There it is. We've made it." Musuko said.
"Finally. I can't wait to get home." Mason said.
"Don't get too comfortable." Birdramon said. "Remember that our mission is far from over. Daemon will be coming back and we have to be ready for him."
"Birdramon is right. Even though we're going home, there's still a lot to do." Palmon said. They're all aware that they have a lot left to do. Daemon is still out there and he'll attack again. For now, the kids just want to go home and try to get some rest before the next big battle comes. Unfortunately for them, the next big battle is happening now. Something attacked them from behind and tangled around Birdramon's legs.
"What's this?!" Natalie said. Suddenly, Birdramon was pulled down and crashed into the ground.
"Birdramon!" Veedramon called as he stopped and saw what happened. "Who did that?!" Suddenly, he too was attacked as a powerful blast came at him and hit him rather hard.
"Veedramon!" Musuko called as this wasn't looking good. All of the kids got off the digimon for safety and tried to see what's going on. "Who's doing all of that?! Come out and fight!"
"Sure!"
"No problem!" Two digimon came out and showed that they were the ones that attacked them. One was a lady spider and the other looked like a mummy. "Bet you didn't think you would ever see us again?"
"Who are you?" Mason questioned.
"You bandage brain! These are the kids of those other kids! They wouldn't know who we are!"
"So we should introduce ourselves!" Another digimon showed up with him being an orange stuffed monkey with a guitar. "Yeah!" He sung, but the sound hurt their ears. "Thank you. Thank you very much. The star is finally here! You get the pleasure of meeting one of the biggest stars in the Digital World."
"What's with that monkey?" Musuko questioned.
"Who are you freaks?" Natalie questioned.
"Don't you know a star when you see one, sweetheart? I'm Etemon, the king of music!"
"My name is Mummymon, and this is my beloved, Arukenimon." He only ended up getting smacked in the head for that.
"Don't call me that! I swear you're going to need more bandages when I get done with you!" Arukenimon claimed.
"Arukenimon? Mummymon? Etemon? Why do I feel like I've heard those names somewhere before?" Benson wondered. Their problems were about to get a lot worse. A dark cloud covered the sky, including the sun, and that's not a good sign. The kids wondered that could be until they saw something fall out of the clouds. It appeared to be another digimon with him getting between them and the gate. All this digimon did was give them a strong glare and they could tell he was stronger than the rest of them.
"What's the big idea, Myotismon? Don't go stealing my thunder!" Etemon called.
"Myotismon?" Musuko questioned.
"So, this is the new generation of the digidestined? These are the ones that Daemon is worried about? What a joke." Myotismon said. "To think that the great and powerful Daemon is worried about these small children."
"Wait a minute. Myotismon?!" Benson said as he realized something. "Now I know why these names are familiar! These are the same four evil digimon that our parents have fought and all defeated!"
"Well, you just won the prize!" All of them looked up and saw Vilemon was joining in as well as he flew straight down. "That's Master Daemon for you! He brought back these four digimon because he knew they would want revenge on the ones that defeated them, and the best way to get revenge is to get rid of all of you."
"Honestly, I couldn't care less about what Daemon's plans are, but I've been resurrected and that's all that matter to me." Myotismon said. "Sadly, it looks like even I have been reduced to being Daemon's little underling."
"Do we look like we care, bat brain? Just get out of our way!" Musuko said.
"You really should watch your mouth little boy." Myotismon said.
"I can't believe we have to take care of these little brats. How tough could it be?" Mummymon said.
"I'm just glad we get to spread chaos and destruction once again." Arukenimon claimed. "Now let's get to work and get rid of these little brats."
"You said it, spider mama. We'll really rock these kids world." Etemon said as all four of them were ready to fight.
"We're not afraid of you, losers. Veedramon, let's get these guys out of the way." Musuko said with Veedramon set to go, as was Birdramon.
"Patamon, let's lend a hand." Benson said.
"Palmon, take them down." Mason said as they got their digimon ready.
"Patamon digivolve to...Angemon!"
"Palmon digivolve to...Togemon!"
It was now an even fight with it being four against four. Each one of them picked their opponents and went on the attack. Veedramon went directly for Myotismon. He had his teeth ready to take a bite out of him, but Myotismon was able to stop him with both his hands and held him back. Myotismon was so strong that he wouldn't budge. When Veedramon couldn't get him to move, Myotismon gave him a powerful punch that knocked Veedramon to the ground. Musuko was shocked to see that. Birdramon tried attacking Arukenimon as she came at her with her talons, but Arukenimon jumped out of the way.
"Spider Thread!" Arukenimon shot out threads from her arms and used them like whips. Each one of them smacked against Birdramon and knocked her away. Angemon tried taking on Mummymon as he swung his staff down at him, but Mummymon used his weapon to block it.
"How pathetic!" Mummymon said as he pushed the staff away and was able to blast Angemon. That left Togemon with Etemon. Togemon tried smashing her fist against Etemon, but Etemon was able to stop her with one arm. After that, he got around her and smashed his own fist against her and knocked her down. The kids weren't liking this. Their digimon are getting beaten rather easily.
"Ha! You kids don't stand a chance against these guys! These four were once some of the baddest digimon around!" Vilemon said. "Not to mention that all of them are ultimates. Your digimon are only champions. You're outmatched and can't win this fight. Okay, get ready to finish them off!"
"Hold it, you little runt." Arukenimon said as she grabbed a hold of him. "What makes you think you can boss us around?"
"Uh... I thought that was understood." Vilemon said.
"No because you don't get to." Arukenimon said as she just tossed Vilemon aside like he meant nothing. Regardless, the kids are in real danger with this. Veedramon made another attack on Myotismon, but Myotismon formed whips out of energy in his hands and lashed them against him and easily knocked him down.
"Get up, Veedramon! We've got to win!" Musuko encouraged.
"I don't see why Daemon felt the need to bring us back to handle you brats. It seems that I don't even need all my power to defeat you." Myotismon said.
"Shut it! You haven't beaten us yet!" Musuko claimed with Myotismon getting annoyed.
"Cheeky little..." Myotismon muttered, but then realized something. 'Wait. There's something familiar about that one.' He tried to figure out what it was and soon realized that it was Musuko's face. He saw it before. "Wait! You look just like the other one!"
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Musuko questioned.
"Back when I was MaloMyotismon, I fought another group of digidestined." Myotismon said. "I had them all fearing me and my power, except for one. He was the only one brave enough to fight me. You look just like him."
"Musuko, I think he's talking about your dad." Benson clarified.
"So you're the son of that one, are you?" Myotismon claimed as he was rather annoyed as he could see Davis in place of Musuko. "He was also the only one that didn't fall for my Mental Illusion. I had the digidestined right where I wanted them, but he still had the will to fight me and ruined everything. If it wasn't for him, I could have obtained victory." He said as he was still rather angry about that. "When I will go to the Digital World, I plan to have my revenge on that one. Now that I know you're his son, I might actually enjoy this."
"Not if I can help it." Veedramon said as he tried to keep fighting.
"Fool." Myotismon said as he attacked him again with those whips. The other three evil digimon attacked with a mist of acid, another powerful blast, and vicious sounds. All four of the children's digimon can't match their power and were forced to dedigivolve back to their rookie forms. "You don't stand a chance. This is where it ends." Myotismon was getting ready to attack again, and it seemed like this might actually be it for them. That was when a flock of butterflies came flying in and attached themselves to the four evil digimon, providing a distraction as they were getting in the villain's eyes.
"Hurry! Run now!" That was Oikawa's voice they heard as he was attempting to save them again. Not sticking around to question it, the kids grabbed their digimon and made a run for it.
"No!" Myotismon shouted as he wanted to stop them, but the kids ran pass him and jumped right through the gate so they could get back to the human world. They barely managed to escape this time, but what about next time.
...
Next time, the kids managed to get home safely, but now they have to figure out what their next move should be. With four evil digimon that were once the enemy of their parents, they have to find a way to get stronger. It's also for when they can face Daemon.
