Last time, Izzy might have found the source to the problem as to why digital gates haven't been working properly. Being an urgent matter, Izzy called for the kids to help since they're the only ones who can open a gate. Upon arriving in the Digital World, they find Vilemon with a large digimon known as Toropiamon. Now, faced against a powerful digimon, the children have to find a way to defeat Toropiamon.

Toropiamon's Power
Musuko and the kids attempted to put a stop to whatever malevolent plan that Daemon is planning this time. What they weren't expecting was how powerful Toropiamon really was. He attacked just once and Toropiamon caused a lot of damage.
"Oh man." Benson said as the kids were still astonished by what they witnessed. Seeing the scorch mark in the ground had them see that they are dealing with one powerful digimon, especially one that seems to be draining some of the power from the Digital World. "One blast from that could have taken us out. I don't think beating this digimon is going to be as easy as beating the others."
"Baloney!" Musuko said as he didn't seem bothered by all that power. "We can still take that giant plant-lizard-thing! AeroVeedramon, whacked down that oversized weed!"
"It will be my pleasure!" AeroVeedramon claimed as he flew straight up and tried to attack Toropiamon, but all Toropiamon did was stretch its tongue out. That tongue acted like a whip and lashed right against AeroVeedramon. That one strike was all it took to knock AeroVeedramon right out of the air.
"Yikes! Talk about getting licked!" Mason said.
"I think Benson is right. This digimon might not be so easy to beat." Natalie said.
"You kids got that right, especially since Toropiamon is drawing power from the Digital World itself." Vilemon said as all he has to do is sit back and take pleasure that the kids are in a lot of trouble. Toropiamon tried attacking with his tongue again, but MagnaAngemon flew in and used his sword to deflect it.
"Are you okay, AeroVeedramon?" MagnaAngemon asked.
"He just got a lucky hit in." AeroVeedramon said as he tried getting back up.
"Maybe this will help!" Lillymon said as she flew around and formed a wreath of flowers around Toropiamon's neck. However, they completely broke apart just from Toropiamon shaking his head. "What happened? Why didn't that work?"
"It's because Toropiamon isn't being controlled by a virus or anything." Garudamon explained. Toropiamon opened it's mouth and began charging power for another attack with it aimed right at Garudamon and Lillymon. It fired away at them, but they both moved out of the way just in time. Still, the force from the beam did shake them around pretty good, and Garudamon was the one holding the children. She tried to keep it together to keep them safe.
"Garudamon, are you okay?" Natalie asked.
"I'm fine. It's just that this is going to be a rough ride for you kids." Garudamon claimed. "Lillymon, let's try attacking together, but keep your distance."
"Flower Cannon!"
"Fire Hurricane!" Both digimon attacked together as they unleashed a flowery blast and a fiery tornado. However, Toropiamon fired another powerful blast and was able to break through both attacks. They didn't stand a chance against that attack.
"Nothing's working against him!" Mason said.
"How are we going to beat something so big and strong?!" Benson said.
"Bigger doesn't mean better. There's got to be a way." Natalie said.
"Kids, we're looking for a way to do that." Izzy said through their D-3s. "Just try to hang in there until we can figure something out."
"On the bright side, it looks like it can't move." Mason said, but he just ended up jinxing it. Toropiamon was starting to move as he pulled his claws and feet right out of the ground and was able to move more freely. It was getting even worse as it was was starting to fly off the ground and was floating in the air.
"You had to say something, Mason." Natalie complained.
"No fair! That thing can fly?!" Musuko questioned.
"What did you think the wings were for?" Benson questioned.
"I thought they were just giant leaves! Besides, some birds that don't fly have wings!" Musuko argued. Now wasn't really the time for arguing as Toropiamon came at them to attack. He swung his claws at Garudamon and tried to devour Lillymon, but they kept flying around and avoided him. AeroVeedramon and MagnaAngemon tried to help out and attack him, but Toropiamon swung his claw around and knocked both of them right out of the air.
"Yeah! Get them, Toropiamon! Get them!" Vilemon cheered. "If you destroy those kids, Master Daemon won't need to destroy me."
"We better think of something or we're going to get eaten by a plant." Mason said. "I wonder if the inside of a plant smells as nice as the outside."
"Don't even go there." Natalie said.
"Natalie, this is getting dangerous. I have to set you and the other kids down so I can focus on fighting." Garudamon said. She flew down to the ground and set the kids on the ground for their own safety. Once they were set down, Garudamon flew back up there and tried fighting Toropiamon.
"Let's all try attacking together! He can't stop all of us!" AeroVeedramon suggested. All four of them went and did just that as they all gathered together and tried to attack at once. However, Toropiamon shook its head around and unleashed a cloud of pollen from the petals around it's neck that soon surrounded them.
"What is this?" MagnaAngemon questioned. He soon got his answer when the pollen combusted an created a massive explosion that knocked all four of them right out in the sky.
"Boom! Bang! Ka-boom!" Vilemon shouted with delight. "I love this digimon! You brats just simply don't stand a chance!"
"That digimon is so powerful! He was able to knock them all down at once!" Benson said as the kids weren't liking this at all.
"There's got to be a way." Musuko said as he refused to give up.
"And we think we found it." Izzy alerted. "Kids, look at Toropiamon's two tails. Do you see that they're still connected to the ground?" All of them looked and saw that he was right Toropiamon still had his tails in the ground and was still gathering power. "Toropiamon is still gathering energy from the ground. You need to try and sever that connection and it will leave Toropiamon vulnerable. He'll lose some of that power!"
"That's it? No problem." Musuko said. "AeroVeedramon! Can you get up?!" He called because they need to attack now. AeroVeedramon tried to do just that with the other digimon. "AeroVeedramon, the tails! Go for the tails!"
"The tails?" AeroVeedramon questioned until he looked at the tails and could see what he was talking about.
"Watch out!" Garudamon alerted as Toropiamon attempted to stomp down at them, but all of them managed to get out of the way in time.
"Attack the tails!" AeroVeedramon told the others.
"I'll go first! Keep Toropiamon busy!" MagnaAngemon said as he flew around.
"Toropiamon, watch your backside!" Vilemon alerted, but the other digimon kept attacking to keep Toropiamon distracted. While they did that, MagnaAngemon flew down to one of the tails and was slashing away at it. It was like trying to chop away at a tree. However, Toropiamon felt MagnaAngemon's attacks and tried to crush him. However, MagnaAngemon flew out of the way just in time.
"Garudamon, give me an opening! I'm going in!" Lillymon said.
"Phoenix Claw!" Garudamon flew straight at Toropiamon and was slashing her claws against his face. Toropiamon tried to fight back by shooting out his tongue, but Garudamon was able to grab a hold of it and painfully stretched it out to keep Toropiamon distracted.
"Vicious Vine!" Lillymon gathered energy around her hand and used it to pierce right into one of the tails. Once she had her turn, Garudamon took her turn. First, she smashed her claw against Toropiamon's head so that she could fly around him and attack the tails.
"Wing Blade!" Garudamon unleashed her firebird and it smashed against Toropiamon's tail to try and slice right through them. Toropiamon was quite upset now as it was lashing out like a wild animal. As it was acting like that, the other three digimon tried to hold the giant digimon down to give AeroVeedramon a clear shot.
"AeroVeedramon, do it now!" MagnaAngemon called.
"Finish it!" Garudamon called.
"My pleasure." AeroVeedramon said as he landed on the ground and had a clear shot at both tails.
"V-Breath Arrow!" AeroVeedramon fired a powerful arrow-like attack from his mouth. It flew through the field and slashed right through the weakened tails like a powerful blade and severed both of Toropiamon's tails from the ground. When that happened, Toropiamon cried out in severe pain, and all of the energy he absorbed was starting to discharge from his body. All of them watched in astonishment. After that, Toropiamon's body began to lose power and left him vulnerable just like Izzy said.
"Now! Now is your chance to attack!" Musuko called. All four of them flew right at Toropiamon for one more strike. All four of the digimon attacked with a smash, a slash from a claw or sword, and a pierce. They all put their power behind those attacks and did a lot of damage. After that, Toropiamon's body began to break apart and its data was scattering everywhere.
"Uh-oh... I think I better go now." Vilemon said as he didn't like how this was turning out. He tried to fly away as things were getting bad for him.
"No you don't!" Lillymon called as she flew after Vilemon. She got right over him and dropped both of her legs right down on him. She kicked Vilemon so hard that he dropped out of the air and crashed right into the ground.
"That hurt." Vilemon complained as he got back up.
"You're not going anywhere, Vilemon!" Musuko said. Vilemon looked around and saw he was in real trouble now. All of them faced him and weren't going to let him escape. There isn't anyway for him to do that, and there's no way he can fight against all of them.
"I'm... I'm not afraid of you." Vilemon claimed, but it so obvious he was.
"Nice work, Lillymon. Make sure he doesn't getaway." Mason said.
"It's time we got some answers, Vilemon. What is Daemon really after?" Benson questioned. "Why does Daemon want to destroy everything?"
"I don't have to answer any of your dumb questions." Vilemon said.
"You better start talking or else." Natalie threatened.
"Or else what? You foolish kids have no idea what you're doing or what you're up against." Vilemon claimed. "Master Daemon is one of the most powerful digimon you will ever encounter. Even with the power you have now, you still don't have what it takes to defeat him. You brats just simply don't stand a chance."
"He's got a big mouth that likes to talk, but he's not giving us anything useful." Lillymon said.
"Anyone have any ideas as to what we should do with him? It doesn't look like he's going to apologize." Garudamon said.
"You're right, but we can't let him go. Vilemon himself might not be a threat, but he could become a problem since he serves Daemon." AeroVeedramon said.
"I say we take Vilemon with us as a prisoner." Musuko said.
"Good idea. We'll make him talk as to what Daemon's big plan is." Mason said. "Cassie's dad is a detective. Maybe he can use some intograte techniques on him to make him talk."
"I think you mean interrogate, but that's not a bad idea." Benson agreed.
"Yeah. Come here, you little rat." AeroVeedramon said as he was going to grab Vilemon and they'll take him with them as their prisoner. Suddenly, AeroVeedramon was attacked. An attack came out of nowhere and blasted him in the side with him getting knocked down.
"Where did that come from?!" Musuko questioned as they were all shocked to see that.
"From me." All of them looked to see a black werewolf-like digimon getting in their way. "Looks like you could use a bit of help, Vilemon."
"Yes! ShadowWereGarurumon!" Vilemon said as he was glad to see him.
"ShadowWereGarurumon?!" Musuko said as they all wondered who he could be.
"These are the kids that Master Daemon is concerned about? They don't look so tough to me." ShadowWereGarurumon claimed.
"Is that so? Let's see if you're saying that when we fight back!" AeroVeedramon called as he tried to attack him. He flew right at ShadowWereGarurumon, but he gave AeroVeedramon a powerful uppercut and smashed his foot against him to knock him back.
"That's enough!" MagnaAngemon said as he and the girls tried to stop him.
"Shadow Claw!" ShadowWereGarurumon slashed his claws and launched a powerful slashing attack. The attack smashed against all three of them and knocked them all away. They all used up so much energy that they all reverted back to their rookie forms. Once he did that, ShadowWereGarurumon jumped over and landed near Vilemon.
"ShadowWereGarurumon, thank you for coming to save me!" Vilemon said as he was grateful.
"Saving you isn't my intention. I honestly thought these kids were going to destroy you and I was going to let them. You're just a pain." ShadowWereGarurumon claimed with Vilemon a little offended. "However, I can't have you running that big mouth of yours and giving away Daemon's secrets. Let's go." He grabbed a hold of Vilemon and carried him away.
"Hey! Come back here!" Musuko called him, but ShadowWereGarurumon ignored him and just kept running. "That guy is tough. Who is he?"
"He looks like a darker version of Gabumon." Natalie said. "Should we go after them?"
"Let them go. At least with Toropiamon defeated, the digital gates will return to normal." Benson said. "Everyone will be able to get around with them now." He's right about that. At least they won...or so they thought.
"Children! I'm glad I caught up with you!" They all looked and saw a flock of butterflies coming down and were forming Oikawa.
"Oikawa! You're back!" Musuko said as they were glad to see him. "You're a little late. We already fixed the digital gates. Whatever Daemon was trying to do, we stopped it."
"No, you haven't." Oikawa said. "This whole thing was nothing more than a distraction. Daemon and his forces are entering your world!"
"What?!" All of them said. Daemon and his forces are heading for the human world? This isn't good. If someone like Daemon is heading there with some sort of invading force, there's no telling what kind of damage and destruction will come. Oikawa really was telling the truth. While they were busy dealing with Toropiamon, Daemon used the opportunity to slip his forces through a dark gate and enter the human world. Evil is roaming the streets of Odaiba, and since digimon can seen freely in the human world, they could be right in front of you and you wouldn't even know.
"Wait. I don't understand. Why is Daemon in the human world?" Natalie questioned.
"Remember how I said that four of you were special because you inherited the power of your parents crests?" Oikawa said. "I made a mistake. There's actually five of you."
"Five?!" They all said.
"You mean...there's one more like us?" Benson questioned.
"Who?" Musuko asked.
"I don't know. Whoever it is has been able to avoid being noticed." Oikawa said. "Daemon now knows about this and has gone to the human world to destroy that child. All five of you must be together. You must find them before Daemon does." This sounds really serious. Having one more on the team could help, but Daemon wants to destroy them. Who could it be and where could they be?

Odaiba
"Are you sure about this, Vademon?" Daemon asked.
"Trust me, Master Daemon. My research hasn't failed me." Vademon claimed. "That child must be here." Daemon and his forces are in the human world now. As he stood at the top of a building and stared down at the whole city, one kid that he wishes to destroy is out there somewhere.
"No one will get in my way. I will find whoever that child is and destroy them." Daemon said. "My forces have already begun the search." He claimed as he had his digimon army searching around the whole city, looking for anything that could tell them where the child he's looking for could be. Being free to roam around the human world, those digimon could be anyone anywhere. "They can't hide forever. Those children will not stand in my way, and I shall spread chaos and destruction everywhere!" The hunt for the fifth child is on.

During a family outing, Mason and his family run into some problems. As they all search for whoever this fifth child is, Daemon and his digimon are also after Musuko and the others. Odaiba will soon turn into a battlefield.
