Last time, Musuko and his friends faced off against Toropiamon. He was a tough opponent at first, but they worked together and defeat this vicious digimon. When they did, they attempted to take Vilemon captive to learn more about Daemon's plans, but were attacked by ShadowWereGarurumon. Now, they learned that their is another kid just like them, but Daemon's forces know of this as well. Secretly invading the human's world, the hunt for the fifth child has begun.

Battle at Tokyo Tower

"Let me get this straight. You're saying there's another kid just like you and your friends, but you don't know who it is, and you're saying evil digimon are roaming around the streets looking for this kid to destroy them?" Malcolm said.

"That's right." Mason said. After learning about this fifth child from Oikawa, Musuko and the kids informed their parents about this. If there really is a fifth member of the team, they need to find them before Daemon and his goons do. The problems are that they have no idea who the other child is, and Daemon's digimon could be anyone anywhere. "That's why we need to look around and try to find something that could tell us who it is."

"You think it's one of your school buddies or something?" Malcolm said.

"How are you even going to search the city? What if the kid isn't even here?" Betamon asked.

"We have to try something." Palmon said.

"That's why we need to go now." Mason said as he was ready to go.

"Wait just a minute." Mimi said as she stopped her son. "You're not going anywhere." Mason didn't like the sound of that. "At least not without me and Palmon."

"Yeah. We'll help you out." Mimi's Palmon said.

"Really?" Mason questioned.

"And I think it might be best if you come and help, Malcolm." Mimi said. Her boys were surprised to hear about this. "The other parents and I are well aware of how serious this is, and we want to help. Especially if it's another one of our kids. That's why I want all of us to go together. The search will go better if we all look. As an added bonus, we all get to spend time together." That did sound rather nice. At times like this, the parents have to do what they can.

...

The Motomiyas

"Thanks to the kids, I alerted the authorities about Daemon." Ken said. Davis was speaking with Ken over the phone. Ken being a detective means that he's got connections in law enforcements. "They'll keep their eyes open for Daemon, but if Daemon really has many digimon through the whole city and we don't know who to look for, I'm worried we can't do much until they strike. Normally, I say we leave this to the proper authorities, but given we understand what we're up against better than anyone, we better be ready to act."

"Thanks, Ken. Try to keep us informed." Davis said and ended the call. Davis looked to Kari with both of them worried how things were turning. As for Musuko, he hurried down his stairs and got his shoes on.

"Musuko? Where are you going?" Koji asked.

"I'm heading out. We might not know who the fifth child is, but we know Daemon and his buddies are looking for him." Musuko said. "We've got to do some patrolling for when they come out. I'll be back later. Let's go, Vee." Both he and his partner hurried out and went to take action.

"Musuko, wait." Kari said as she didn't like her son going out there. At the same time, she knew there wasn't much she could do to stop him.

"Wow. Musuko sounded like a real superhero." Koji said as he loved how his big brother is taking action.

"At least he's not afraid of a fight. He's one brave little kid." Gatomon said. "Speaking of which, this is just like when Myotismon tried to find you all those years ago, Kari."

"Yeah..." Kari said, but wasn't really listening.

"Kari..." Gatomon pulled on her pants to get her attention. "What if there's a possibility that Koji is the child? We have to assume one of the other kids has to be the one everyone is looking for." She whispered so that Koji wouldn't hear. Kari didn't even want to think of both of her sons being placed in danger like that.

"Koji, what do you say we go to the park?" Kari offered. Koji liked the sound of that. Kari just needed something to keep her distracted from all of this.

...

The Tachikawas

Mimi did what she said. She and her boys hit the streets and kept their eyes open for anything that might be suspicious. They had to find that mystery child or Daemon's forces before anything happens. They all looked around, but everything seemed rather normal.

"Nothing seems strange." Mason said.

"We don't even know what to look for. Any digimon without a human partner could be working for Daemon." Palmon said. there are just too many options, too many suspects. There's no way to tell who from who.

"Mimi!" All of them looked ahead to see Tai and his son there. "This is a surprise. I take it this might be about Daemon."

"Yeah. You can never be too careful." Mimi said, but Malcolm was getting the feeling that the two of them were acting rather weird.

"Tyson and I are just trying to spend some time together since I don't have any work to catch up on or anything." Tai said.

"Dad, are we still going to the tower?" Tyson asked.

"We are. Don't worry." Tai said.

"Tokyo Tower? That sounds like a great idea." Mimi said. "Is it okay if we come along? We might be able to see a lot from up there."

"Mom, I don't know about that." Malcolm said since he hasn't grown accustomed to Tai since he learned the truth.

"The more the merrier, and if it will help." Tai said. All of them went on together, but Malcolm couldn't shake the feeling there was more to this than what it seemed. Still, he followed after them. What they didn't know was that there was someone else following them.

...

ShadowWereGarurumon

'Look at them.' ShadowWereGarurumon thought. He took a look around and spotted humans and digimon together. 'These humans are so strange. Their world is so complex, and now digimon are living among it.' ShadowWereGarurumon looked around to try and find that other child, but it baffled him that humans and digimon were living together. As he walked around, he came across some young kids and their digimon, but they all got a little scared when they saw him and tried to stay clear of him. "Figures." Just then, a ball bounced near him and landed right at his feet.

"Sorry about that!" He looked and was actually met with Koji. "That's my ball. Can I have it back?"

"Just take it." ShadowWereGarurumon said as he just ignored Koji. Koji didn't seem to have a problem as he took his ball back and didn't seem bothered by ShadowWereGarurumon.

"Are you okay, Mister?" Koji asked.

"Mister? The name is ShadowWereGarurumon."

"That sounds like a mouthful." Koji said. "Still, I really like your fur. You look cool."

"Cool?" ShadowWereGarurumon questioned as he didn't get it. Koji seems so calm, and he's actually smiling at him. "What's with you? Aren't you scared of me or something?"

"No. Why would I be?" Koji questioned. That was rather odd to ShadowWereGarurumon. Koji is just little kid, but he didn't seem scared of him at all.

"Koji!" Kari called as she, Gatomon, and Salamon came after him. "Is everything okay?"

"You're not bothering this digimon, are you?" Gatomon asked.

"No." Koji said. Gatomon looked right at ShadowWereGarurumon, but she could tell something wasn't right about him. She just scowled at him with ShadowWereGarurumon looking ready to take action.

"Koji, let's go." Kari said as she could see that. "I'm sure this digimon would like to be left alone."

"Okay. Bye." Koji said. He took Kari's hand and the two of them left together. ShadowWereGarurumon was just going to brush the whole thing off, but then he heard Koji said something. "Do you think Musuko and Veemon are doing okay? Do you think they stopped any of the bad guys?"

"I'm sure your older brother is doing well." Gatomon said.

"Yeah. That goggle-head can be stubborn." Salamon said. When he heard that, ShadowWereGarurumon grew suspicious.

'Interesting. They must be talking about that boy I saw the other day.' ShadowWereGarurumon thought as he turned back and stared at Koji. 'In this world, brother means a boy that you hold a genetic relation with. Is it possible that little boy is the one we're looking for? If he is, I might need to keep an eye on him.' ShadowWereGarurumon seems to have found a possible suspect as to who the fifth child is. If Koji is, he's ShadowWereGarurumon's prey and he will hunt Koji down.

...

Tokyo Tower

Mimi and Tai took their kids up to Tokyo Tower. It actually ended up being a good thing. The kids were certainly enjoying it as Mason and Tyson looked through the windows and telescopes to see great views of the city around. They were both enjoying it, but Malcolm stayed off to the side and tried to keep to himself.

"Wow. You can see everything from up here." Tyson said.

"I'll say. This telescope goes all the way to the ocean." Mason said as he looked through one of them. "Take a look, Tyson." He shared the telescope with Tyson and he certainly liked it.

"Hey! I want to see!" Koromon claimed.

"Here you go." Mason's Palmon said as she helped Koromon see through another one.

"This tower certainly does have a lot of fond memories." Tai said as he and Mimi joined them. "In fact, you kids might like to know that Davis actually asked my younger sister to marry him up on the roof of this building; directly above us."

"Wow! Really?! Uncle Davis asked Aunt Kari that right above us?!" Tyson questioned as that was fun to know.

"Kari told me all about it. It was so romantic." Mimi said as she tried to share the story with the kids. As she was telling the story to them, Tai looked and saw Malcolm just standing off to the side and wasn't really getting involved.

"You know the view's even better at night." Tai said as he walked over to Malcolm. "The lights and everything... It's one of the reasons why Davis chose this place to propose to Kari."

"I'm sure it is." Malcolm said. Things between the two of them were rather awkward. Tai would love nothing more to bond with Malcolm, but Malcolm just keeps turning away. It's not easy having a father-son relationship given the circumstances between the two.

"I know you and Michael went camping together. From what I heard, things seem to have gone good between the two of you." Tai said, but Malcolm just remained silent as he just wasn't sure what to say. Seeing this wasn't going anywhere, Tai decided to just be direct. "Listen, Malcolm... I would love nothing more than to get to know you better. I know things haven't been easy since you learned the truth. None of us knew the truth for a long time. When we did figure it out, I didn't know what to say or do. Your mother and I didn't want to upset you and your entire life. The older you got, the harder it was to tell you the truth. It certainly wasn't easy for me knowing I had a son and he thought someone else was his kid."

"So why didn't you try to do anything about it?" Malcolm asked.

"It was...not easy." Tai said as he knew complicated would make things worse. "Mimi didn't want your entire life turned around, but she also knew the truth had to come out. These decisions affected you the most, so we had to be careful. Now, you and I can spend time together, if that's what you want. You know me, and you know I care for you the same as any of the kids. Since Daemon is also looking for one of you kids, we have to stick together and protect your kids."

"On that note, what are you going to do if Tyson is the one?" Malcolm said.

"Easy, I protect him...and you." Tai said. Malcolm certainly had it rough, but he forgave Michael. Maybe it was time he gave Tai a chance.

"By the way, what's really going on? You really don't think I believe it's just mere coincidence we ran into each other." Malcolm said. It did seem like something was going on, but Tai wasn't sure what to say

"Tai..." Agumon said and got his attention. "I don't mean to interrupt, but there's this weirdo eyeing Mimi and the others." They looked and saw that there was a digimon who had their eyes on Mimi and the boys. It didn't look friendly either.

"Anyone know who that digimon is?" Malcolm questioned.

"I do. That's Doumon." Betamon said. They had a bad feeling about this. Mason and the kids were rather distracted that they didn't notice Doumon reaching out for them.

"Hey." Tai said as he got in Doumon's way with Mimi and the boys finally noticing what's going on. "Is there something we can help you with?" Doumon just stood there, but then began to give off this dark aura.

"Oh no." Mimi's Palmon said.

"I think we've got trouble." Mason's Palmon said and got ready for action. Doumon certainly was as Doumon attacked.

...

Musuko

"Man... We've been walking around and there's no sign of bad guys anywhere." Musuko said. That's usually a good thing, but Musuko said it like it was bad thing. He wanted some action.

"Don't worry, Musuko. Sometimes things happen when you least expect it." Veemon said. That was right when they heard a crashing sound and saw it came from the tower. "See what I mean?"

"What's going on up on the tower?" Musuko questioned as he tried to get a better look and saw Lillymon with Doumon flying right out of the tower and were fighting each other. "I think that's Lillymon! Mason might need help!"

...

The Tower

"Flower Cannon!" Lillymon fired her attack, but Doumon moved out of the way and circled around Lillymon. Then. Doumon launched a series of talismans from its sleeves. Lillymon flew around and tried to avoid getting caught, but some of them did attached to the tower.

"Get him, Lillymon! Get that silver fox!" Mason cheered. Lillymon kept trying to avoid the talismans, but a few of them did attach themselves to her. Once that happened, Doumon used its magic and they all started to detonate. The ones on Lillymon went off in small explosions. "Oh no!" The ones on the tower were beginning to detonate as well and everyone was holding on for dear life. The tower was shaking rather badly, and Mason was dangerously close to the opening in the wall.

"Mason, get away from there!" Mimi called. She hurried to save her son, but the floor underneath crumbled right under her.

"Mimi/Mom!" Palmon and Mason screamed.

"Mimi!" Tai shouted as he got to her just in time and grabbed her hand. "Hold on! I've got you!"

"Mom!" Malcolm called as he hurried and helped Tai. They both pulled with all of their might and were able to get her back up. Palmon helped out as she stretched out her vines and helped pull with Mimi being pulled back to safety. "Mom, are you okay?!"

"I am thanks to both of you." Mimi said as it was nice seeing those two worked together. As for Lillymon, she kept trying to fight Doumon, but Doumon smashed its arms against Lillymon rather hard. She was smashed against the tower and was falling.

"Lillymon!" Mason called as he was afraid she was hurt. Lillymon plummeted to the ground and was about to crash into it, but she was saved as AeroVeedramon came in and saved her with Musuko riding on him.

"AeroVeedramon!" Lillymon said.

"Thought you could use a hand." AeroVeedramon said.

"AeroVeedramon, above us!" Musuko warned. Doumon attacked again by unleashing a series of talismans again.

"V-Wing Blade!" AeroVeedramon fought back as he intercepted the talismans and destroyed them. When they detonated, AeroVeedramon flew up to Doumon and had a clear shot.

V-Breath Arrow!" AeroVeedramon attacked once again and blasted Doumon. As Doumon screamed in pain, its data burst and Doumon was disintegrated so that no more trouble would happen.

...

Koji

Meanwhile, back at the Motomiyas, Kari and Koji returned home after a fun time at the park. What they didn't know was that someone was following them.

"Hey!" Davis called as he exited through the front. "Perfect timing! They're covering an attack that happened at the tower! I think Musuko was involved in it!"

"What?!" Kari said and hurried inside with Koji following. None of them noticed that ShadowWereGarurumon was stalking them. Now ShadowWereGarurumon knows where they live, which means he can strike any moment.

...

The Tower

After what just happened, the whole tower was evacuated and to make sure everyone was okay. As Mason and the others came out, they soon found Musuko and went over to him.

"Musuko!" Mason called as he ran on over. "Thanks for coming to help. Your timing was perfect."

"No problem. I just hope we can explain all of this to the police." Musuko said. "Was that digimon working with Daemon?"

"Doumon had to have been. Why else would he attack us like that?" Palmon questioned. This shows how dangerous and serious the situation is. They need to figure out how to stop Daemon before the situation gets any worse.

"Musuko!" Tyson called as he and Malcolm hurried over. "It's great to see you again. Thanks for coming to help out."

"Anything for my favorite cousin." Musuko said as he ruffled Tyson's hair.

"That was pretty cool...for a junior." Malcolm said.

"Hey, Malcolm." Tyson said with Malcolm looking down at him. "Thanks for coming. It was nice having others join me and Dad. It's fun when it's the two of us with Agumon and Koromon, but it was actually nice having others around. That was also really cool how you stepped in and saved your mom. It was like you didn't hesitate to act." Well, Malcolm is Tai's son. When Tyson said all of that, it made Malcolm realize that those two should try to get along since they're half-brothers just like him and Mason.

"I suppose it was... You miss your mom, Tyson? I know it must have been rough losing her in that car accident." Malcolm said. Of course Tyson missed his mother. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked as he dropped to Tyson's level. It was rather nice seeing the boys get along so well and acted nice towards to each other, especially to Mimi and Tai.

"It's good to see they're bonding and getting along." Tai said. "Do you think we should tell them yet?"

"I don't know. This brand new, and Malcolm still adjusting to the truth. I know we shouldn't keep anymore secrets, but this would be a big change for them." Mimi said.

"It will be okay. We'll make it work and take our time." Tai said as he actually grabbed Mimi's hand and held it. It would seem there really was something else going on.

...

While the beach is usually a place for fun, Musuko and the others find trouble as a large digimon is in need of some help. However, this digimon won't allow them to help it out. The only one who can get close to it is little Jimmy Kido.
