When Daemon unleashes another digimon to attack, they called upon the dangerous and indestructible Tankdramon. Tankdramon is also being used by Vademon, acting as if he is Tankdramon's brain. The kids tried to fight back, but Tankdramon can't even seem to be harmed. With all that's gone on, Musuko's rage and anger grew. Vademon used that to have AeroVeedramon change into Cyberdramon. Now, Cyberdramon is out of control, acting like a wild animal. How can the kids stop this?

The Fifth Child
"Just moments ago, a large digimon emerged out of the sky and begun to attack the streets. Four brave digimon attempted to put a stop to it, but none of their attacks appear to be ineffective." The news was reporting about the attack that was going on. It even showed the kids' digimon fighting back, but they were losing. Kari and Davis could see it was Musuko and the others, but they weren't liking how this was looking. "Then, one of the digimon appears to have changed forms and seems to be going on a rampage. All citizens are to stay clear of the immediate area." They saw what happened to AeroVeedramon, and now they're really worried.
"That's it. I can't just stay here and watch this." Kari said as she stood right up. "I'm going there and going to make sure Musuko and the kids are safe."
"Hold up, Kari." Davis said as he tried to stop her. "I don't like the idea of you heading down there. I'll head over there and make sure Musuko and the kids are safe. You stay focus on Koji. Right now, he's probably scared and really worried about Musuko." Kari didn't like to have any of her loved ones out there. She wants to get out there and protect Musuko with every fiber of her being, but her youngest probably needs her just as much.
"Koji! Come here, honey!" Kari called, but they didn't even hear a sound from him. "Koji?" Kari was already getting scared. She and Davis hurried up and went to Koji's room, but there wasn't a sign of him or Salamon anywhere. "Koji!" Now Koji is gone? That's not good, but there's really only one place Koji and Salamon could be heading.

The Battle
Vademon's little attack has completely changed AeroVeedramon. He knew that digimon are powered by human emotions, and he took the great anger that Musuko was feeling to transformed AeroVeedramon into Cyberdramon. Now Cyberdramon is going on a rampage and is wrecking everything just like Tankdramon. This is all kinds of bad. The kids not only have to stop Tankdramon, but they might need to stop their friend as well. As this was going on, Vilemon and ShadowWereGarurumon found a safe spot for them to watch things unfold.
"I told you my little plan would work." Vilemon said. "Tankdramon can't even be harmed by those kids; and with Vademon's guidance, his attacks are more accurate and dangerous. As for AeroVeedramon turning into Cyberdramon, that too was part of the plan. I knew that kid would get angry. These humans can't seem to stand it when their comrades seem to be in pain. With Vademon's help, that kids anger helped mutate his partner. Now they'll have to fight their friend, and I doubt they'll do that."
"I'm impressed, Vilemon. You actually had a brilliant idea." ShadowWereGarurumon said as he was actually amazed that Vilemon came up with this plan.
"Now all that we have to do is sit back and have those kids destroy each other." Vilemon said. That really is all they have to do. Cyberdramon was wrecking everything, but the kids knew they had to try and stop this.
"Vee! Are you in there?! You have to stop! You're destroying the city!" Musuko called, but it seems like Cyberdramon can't even hear him.
"We've got to try and stop him!" Benson said. "He's out of control! We've got to try and get him to calm down! MagnaAngemon, do something!"
"Cyberdramon, stop!" MagnaAngemon called as he flew at him to try and stop Cyberdramon, but Cyberdramon simply took his spear and swatted him away.
"Cyberdramon, can't you see you're hurting your friends?!" Lillymon called.
"It's no good. I'm not sure he can even hear us. Regardless, we have to stop this before he hurts someone." Garudamon said. She and Lillymon flew at Cyberdramon to try and stop him, but then Cyberdramon extended his ribs and tried using those to attack the two of them. They both moved out of the way, but Cyberdramon placed his weapon in the ground and spun around and smashed his tail against both of them.
"Too late." Lillymon groaned.
"You've got to stop this! Can't you see you're attacking your friends?!" Musuko called.
"Why is he acting like this?" Mason questioned.
"What did that giant brain do to him?" Natalie questioned. None of the kids liked what was happening, but Vademon certainly did. He just simply laughed in delight at what was happening before them.
"You kids don't seem to understand." Vademon said. "I'll try to make it so that even small little minds like yours can understand. As I said before, we digimon are affected by your emotions. They are what help us reach our strength and form when we are unable to do that on our own. My Mutilation did mess with your partner's data, but it was your anger that altered him into what it was."
"Because you and your buddies were attacking people! You were causing senseless destruction! Not to mention you hurt my friends!" Musuko claimed. "How could I not get angry?!"
"And it was that anger that helped make this." Vademon said as he acted smug. Musuko was just getting angrier. He tried to charge in and attack Vademon, but Natalie got a hold of him and stopped him from doing anything.
"Musuko, don't! You'll be crushed!" Natalie said.
"This is all working out so wonderfully!" Vademon claimed. "All I have to do is be ready for to finish you off with Tankdramon as you all waste your energy fighting against Cyberdramon!" Cyberdramon continued to attack everything. He was acting like an animal and that everything around him was a threat. If something isn't done soon, Cyberdramon is going to destroy the city they're trying to protect.
"We've got to do something!" Mason said.
"Garudamon and Lillymon, you still have to try and stop Tankdramon! MagnaAngemon, you try to calm Cyberdramon down!" Benson guided. MagnaAngemon tried to do just that, but it looked as if Cyberdramon isn't going to go down without a fight. MagnaAngemon had no choice as he extended his sword and tried to attack with it, but Cyberdramon used his own weapon to block it.
"Don't hurt him!" Musuko called.
"I'll try, Musuko, but I doubt that will be a problem." MagnaAngemon claimed as Cyberdramon was able to push him away. As for Garudamon and Lillymon, they stood facing Tankdramon with Vademon constantly laughing at their efforts.
"This is hilarious. You continue to fight when there is no chance." Vademon laughed.
"Wing Blade!"
"Flower Cannon!" The two of them attacked together, but their attacks just bounced off Tankdramon just like before. Nothing is working against him. That's not the problem for Tankdramon. He took aim at them and was able to blast the both of them. This just keeps getting worse and worse for the kids. This might be a time where they can't win.
"It's hopeless, kiddies. Maybe now you'll..." Vademon was about to gloat, but then he heard sounds coming from the other directions. He saw helicopters coming at them, and they were fully loaded.
"Look! It's the military!" Natalie said.
"In that case, maybe we should clear out of the way!" Benson said as the four of them tried to get clear of what the military might be trying to do. The helicopters opened fire right at Tankdramon in hopes their weapons might be able to do something.
"Pitiful." Vademon said. Vademon had Tankdramon counter. The missiles did less damage than the digimon were doing, but Tankdramon fought back as he opened fired on the helicopters. The military might have taken some evasive maneuvers, but they weren't doing any better than the kids.
"Darn it! Nothing seems to be working against him!" Musuko said. "Not even the military can seem to stop that thing!"
"And Cyberdramon isn't helping!" Mason said. Cyberdramon continued to do some real harm and damage. Cyberdramon's roar brought a feeling of terror.
"This can't be happening." Musuko said as he watched his closest friend trying to destroy everything they're trying to protect. "No! There has to be a way to stop this!" Despite seeing all of this, Musuko isn't giving up hope. He just needs some way to reach his partner and get him to fight the enemy.
"Musuko!" When Musuko heard that voice, he was surprised and shocked that he would be here. Musuko turned around and saw Koji and Salamon running straight into this fire.
"Koji!" Musuko called as he rushed over to him.
"Koji is here?!" Natalie said as they were all shocked to see him. Even ShadowWereGarurumon spotted him and was surprised to see Koji.
"Koji, what are you doing here?! It's too dangerous for you to be here!" Musuko said.
"But you're here." Koji said. "I heard what was going on here and I was worried about you. I had to come and see you were okay."
"Koji, it isn't safe. You can't be here now." Musuko said as he tried to get his little brother to get out of here, but Koji spotted Cyberdramon attack MagnaAngemon and knocked him to the ground.
"Is that Veemon?" Salamon questioned.
"What happened to him?" Koji asked.
"Don't worry about him. You need to get out of here and get somewhere that's safe." Musuko said.
'Now might be the ideal time to finish them. Bye, kids.' Vademon thought as he had Tankdramon take aim. Tankdramon aimed right for all of them.
"Watch out!" Natalie called. Tankdramon fired away a powerful blast that caused a large explosion. All of the kids were blown away from the attack and some devastation was caused. That might have been it. Musuko and the others were blown around pretty good, but they were still in one piece. However, it looks like their digimon can't take much more.
"That wasn't fun." Mason said.
"Koji? Are you okay?" Musuko asked, but realized that Koji wasn't with him anymore. "Koji? Where are you?!" He looked around, but he didn't see Koji anywhere.
"There he is!" Natalie pointed to where Koji was. It looked like he and Salamon were okay, but they might not be for long. As Koji and Salamon pulled themselves together, they looked up and saw Cyberdramon standing right over them.
"Koji! Run!" Musuko called, but Koji didn't seem to hear him. He was too stunned by Cyberdramon's presence and couldn't believe that was really his brother's partner.
"Koji, we need to go! Let's get out of here!" Salamon said as she wanted to run, but Koji wouldn't move.
"We can't leave. That's Veemon. That's Musuko's partner, which means he's family." Koji said. "We can't just leave a family member when they're in pain and need help."
"Koji, getaway from him! He probably has no idea what he's even doing!" Benson called.
"Run for your very life!" Mason hysterically shouted. No matter how much the older kids tell him to run, Koji wouldn't move because he didn't want to leave behind a family member. Cyberdramon was actually going to attack as he raised his weapon and planned to strike Koji with it.
"Don't you recognize me?!" Koji called. "It's me! It's Koji and Salamon! We're your family!"
"Koji, what makes you think he can even hear you?!" Salamon said. "Look at what he's done! He even attacked his friends! What makes you think he won't attack us!"
"He's family, Salamon." Koji said. "Just think of all the times we had together." Salamon thought about just that. She remembered all the fun, all the great times everyone in the Motomiya family had together. Salamon could see Koji was right. You don't just abandon someone you had so many great times with. "Veemon! You have to remember!" They tried to reach to the real Veemon inside Cyberdramon, but it didn't seem like it worked as he swung his weapon down right at them.
"Koji!" Musuko called as they all feared what might happen to them.
"Remember." Koji pleaded as he closed his eyes. Just then, a pink light shined and it came straight from Koji. It seemed to have gotten Cyberdramon to stop his attack with everyone wondering what this could be.
"I feel...so much power!" Salamon said as she was bathed in the light and she flew straight up to the sky. Whatever happened to Salamon formed something like a pink angel. The angel flew to Cyberdramon's head and placed her hands right upon that. When she did that, a blue light was washing over Cyberdramon. Cyberdramon was beginning to act more calm and serene. It was like all the rage and anger was fading away. Everyone watched with amazement as to what could be happening. Suddenly, Cyberdramon changed forms once again. He might have grown smaller, but he took on that same form her took when they fought Diaboromon.
"What is this?! Tankdramon, do something!" Vademon ordered. Tankdramon was going to attack, but that blue form attacked first. It flew up to the sky and formed a sword from its arm. Then, it dived straight down and was attacking Vademon and Tankdramon. "No! Get back! Stay away from me!" Vademon pleaded, but the light came straight down and sliced right through and Tankdramon. Finally, something harmed Tankdramon and it ended up doing some real damage. That one attack finished off both of them.
"Amazing..." Musuko said as they were all stunned at what they just saw.
"What just happened?" Benson questioned as they've never seen anything like that. Just then, the blue light faded away and was now Veemon again.
"Veemon!" Musuko called as he hurried over to him. "Vee! Buddy! Tell me you're okay!" He pleaded as he helped Veemon up and prayed that he was okay.
"Give me some chocolate and I'll tell you." Veemon said. That was proof to Musuko that Veemon really was okay. Still, that was rather scary. So much harm and destruction was caused to the streets, and they barely managed to get out of that one. The only reason they're still standing is because of Koji, but how did Koji do that.
"Koji? How did you do any of that?" Musuko questioned.
"I don't know." Koji said. He looked up to the angel as she flew down to him and she transformed, but not back into Salamon.
"It worked because you have the light, Koji." All of them were surprised for it wasn't Salamon that came back. It was who Salamon digivolves into.
"Gatomon?!" Koji said.
"That's right, Koji. I managed to digivolve." Gatomon said.
"How?" Musuko questioned. This was all so strange, but there was really only one explanation. They saw proof when they saw a light coming from Koji's pocket and they all saw he had a pink D-3 with him. That can only mean one thing.
"I don't believe it! Koji is the fifth child!" Natalie said as they were all shocked to see that Koji was the one they've been searching for. However, ShadowWereGarurumon and Vilemon know about this now.
"Well, that certainly didn't go the way I expected, but at least now we know who we're looking for." Vilemon said. The hunt is now over. The identity of the one they've been looking for is now known. However, ShadowWereGarurumon doesn't seem to like it as much as Vilemon. Now that it's known, what's going to happen from here?

After learning that Koji is the child everyone is looking for, ShadowWereGarurumon decides to act on behalf of his master. However, something about Koji is keeping him from acting on his loyalty. Is ShadowWereGarurumon an enemy or a possible friend?
