Knowing the identity of the child he's been looking for, Daemon has unleashed an all-out attack on the city in thinking it will lure Koji out. The whole city is under siege with the children trying to fight back. Daemon managed to find Koji and attempted to take him. ShadowWereGarurumon attempted to stop him, but he was no match for him. In hopes of stopping others from getting hurt, Koji surrendered himself to Daemon and now be at his mercy.

Angel of Light Descends

"No! Koji! Koji!" Kari cried as she saw her youngest being taken away by Daemon.

"Hey! Come back here with him right now!" Davis demanded, but Daemon just simply ignored him and flew off with him taking Koji and his Gatomon with him. They tried to protect Koji and only failed. Even so, they have to do something while they still can. Musuko wasn't going to let that monster destroy his little brother, but he has to be able to find him. That's why he hurried to ShadowWereGarurumon.

"Are you okay?" Musuko asked as he tried to help him.

"I think so." ShadowWereGarurumon said. "Right now, we need to find Koji."

"I know. Do you know where Daemon is taking him?" Musuko asked.

"I don't... Wait! Daemon did seem interested in a place in your world." ShadowWereGarurumon said. "He called the place Highton View Terrace."

"Highton View Terrace?!" Kari said as she was shocked to hear that name. "That's where Tai and I encountered our first digimon! Highton View Terrace is special because it's actually a gateway to the Digital World!"

"But I thought it was sealed away long ago by BlackWarGreymon." Davis said. "Why would Daemon be going there?"

"Who cares why he's going there?" Musuko said as they were in a hurry. "We've got to go after him and rescue Koji before it's too late! AeroVeedramon!" He called with AeroVeedramon snapping back to his senses and got himself up right. "Can you fly? We need to go after Daemon."

"Sure can. Just hop on old AeroVeedramon Airline." AeroVeedramon said. Musuko hurried over to him to rescue his brother.

"Wait." Davis said as he grabbed Musuko's shoulder. "We're all going. We'll show Daemon what happens when you mess with this family." Musuko certainly liked the sound of that.

The Ishidas

"Wing Blade!" As some of Daemon's forces continued to attack the city, Garudamon unleashed her attack and blasted some of them.

"This is crazy. They seem to be everywhere." Natalie said.

"We need to find a place to get the kids safe, Matt." Sora said.

"You don't have to tell me twice." Matt said.

"Hey! Down here!" They all looked down and could see The Takaishis and the Ichijojis just below them. When they spotted them, Garudamon flew down and they all got together.

"Am I glad to see all of you!" Matt said as they all climbed off of Garudamon. "Is everyone here okay?"

"We're fine." T.K. said.

"Yeah. Luckily, we all met up, but this is crazy." Yolei said. "There are digimon attacking everywhere. I thought those days were behind us, but it looks like they aren't."

"Benson, have you heard from any of the others?" Natalie asked.

"No. I thought we were all meeting at Mr. Izumi's lab like we agreed. I thought they would have headed there." Benson said. Just then, they heard something running through the streets. They looked and saw a Tuskmon going down thanks to Togemon. When they saw that, they saw a car pull up and saw Tai, Mimi, and their families all together.

"Hey! Good to see you're all okay!" Tai said.

"Is everyone okay?" Mimi asked.

"Define okay. The whole city is under attack." Lila said.

"Can this get any worse?" Mason questioned.

"I would you ask that?" Natalie said as that was like a jinx. Just then, Tai's phone went off and saw that it was Davis.

"Tai, are you there?!" Davis said.

"Yeah. What's wrong, Davis?" Tai asked.

"Are any of the others with you?" Davis said.

"Yeah. I've got T.K., Ken, Matt, Mimi, and their families all right here with me. What's going on?" Tai questioned.

"Daemon captured Koji!" Davis alerted with everyone getting a good scare from hearing that. "He's taking him to Highton View Terrace! My family is heading there right now to try and rescue him, but we might need some help! We've got help from ShadowWereGarurumon, but we could sure use the rest of you. Koji could sure use help from his favorite uncle. We need to get there before it's too late!"

"Wait. ShadowWereGarurumon? He's on our side now?" Mason questioned.

"Highton View Terrace?! Out of all the places in the world, why did it have to be there?" Mimi questioned.

"Thanks, Davis. We'll get there as fast as we can." Tai said and ended the call. "This is serious. We've got to get moving like now. Maybe we should..." The parents didn't get a chance to talk about this as they all saw a bright light and saw MagnaAngemon, Lillymon, and Garudamon flying off with Natalie, Benson, and Mason already on their way right now.

"Hey! You kids get back here!" Mimi called, but those three just ignored them and flew off.

"Kids these days... They just don't listen." Matt said.

"We probably would have done the same thing ourselves." T.K. said. "They know their friend is in danger and they're not wasting time to go help them. We raised them rather well to think like that."

"It doesn't matter. We need to get going, but need to make sure the rest of our families are safe." Tai said. "Matt, Ken, and I will go to Highton View Terrace and try to help out Davis and the others. The rest of you should head over to Izzy's lab. I'm sure it's safe there."

"Do be careful." Mimi said as she grabbed his hand. That certainly didn't go unnoticed.

"We'll be back with everyone else." Tai assured. Matt and Ken assured their families the same way with the three of them hurrying off with their digimon. Hopefully, they can get to Koji before it's too late.

Izzy's Lab

Izzy and Cody were called in and were told what happened with Daemon and Koji. Knowing poor little Koji is in danger, the two of them were going out to join the battle as well.

"Izzy, let's get going. I contacted Joe and told him what's going on. He's going to meet up with us there and try to help out." Cody said.

"I'll be right there." Izzy said.

"Dad, do you really have to go?" Uria said as she was quite scared on what might happened to him out there, not to mention what might happen to everyone else. "What if you get hurt out there?"

"That's nothing compared to what's going to poor little Koji if we don't get down there and help." Armadillomon said.

"I promise, honey, I will be okay." Cody said to try and help his daughter feel more relaxed. He hated to leave her here without him or her mother around, but he's got to go. At least he knows that she's safe and left in good hands. "Izzy, what are you waiting for?"

"Cody, take a look at this email I got. It's from Oikawa." Izzy said. When Cody heard it was from him, he hurried over and had to see what was on that email. If Oikawa sent something, it could be something that could help defeat Daemon once and for all.

Highton View Terrace

Highton View Terrace might seem like a regular place, but it isn't. Many didn't know that there's a gateway to the Digital World there, but that gate was sealed away a long time ago. That is where Daemon is right now with Koji and Gatomon as his prisoners.

"Vilemon, call for some of my subordinates and have them be here. I want to make sure that no one gets in my way." Daemon said.

"Of course because I wouldn't dare betray you like ShadowWereGarurumon did." Vilemon said to kiss up to his boss. He flew off and made sure that no one was going to interfere with Daemon.

"Here we go." Daemon said as he floated down with Koji and Gatomon forced to go down with him. He landed down on the ground and placed his hand against the ground. "Yes... It's here. I can still feel it."

"Feel what?" Koji questioned.

"Did you know that there's a gateway to the Digital World right here in this part of your world? Right where this city is?" Daemon questioned. "However, it was sealed long ago by a digimon known as BlackWarGreymon. He sacrificed his own body to ensure that it would be. I came here to try and break that seal."

"I thought you wanted to try and destroy us." Gatomon said.

"There's that, too. I must say that you are one noble little boy to sacrifice yourself to stop others from getting hurt." Daemon claimed, but it just made Koji feel a little uneasy. "However, you should have thought that others are going to get hurt even after I get done with you. Once that happens, I will force this gate open once again once again, only it will be at a different magnitude. When I force this gate open, chaos and mayhem will reign over both worlds. I can kill two birds with one stone...or a flame in this case." He said with an evil laugh.

"Why would you want to do something like that? Why do you want to bring chaos and hurt so many like this?" Koji questioned as he could never understand why people would want to willingly hurt others.

"It's simply because that's what I was made for." Daemon said. "Enough talk. Get ready to say goodbye." He said as he dropped the barrier around those two and got ready to destroy them.

"I won't let you!" Gatomon said as she did what she could to protect Koji. The digidestined need to hurry, they're almost out of time.

...

The Digidestined

"Hurry, MagnaAngemon! Hurry!" Benson said as they all flew as fast they could. "We need to get to Koji before it's too late!"

"I just hope it's not too late by the time we get there!" Natalie said. They all tried to hurry as best as they could. However, that was when a bunch of other digimon got in their way and tried to stop him.

"I don't think so!" Vilemon called as he flew down.

"Vilemon, get out of our way!" Natalie shouted.

"You aren't going to interfere with Daemon's plans! Get them boys!" Vilemon ordered. All of those digimon tried to attack them. The three of them got ready for a fight, but that was when a blast from Greymon and Garurumon came in and stopped them. Also, Stingmon flew in and managed to land a strike of his own.

"Kids!" Tai called as he and the others showed up. "We're handle these guys. Just go save, Daemon!" There wasn't really any time to discuss parental and child matters. The kids just trusted the grown-ups and hurried off as they flew right over Vilemon's group and kept going.

"Hey! Come back here!" Vilemon called as he flew after them.

Daemon

"Time to say goodbye." Daemon said as he was going to destroy Koji right now. He unleashed a flame right at the two of them and it seemed like it was all over. However, that was right when ExVeemon showed up and stepped in the way of the attack. He ended up taking the full force of the attack as he tried to shield Koji and Gatomon only to be blown away and turned back into Veemon.

"Veemon!" Koji called.

"Koji!" ShadowWereGarurumon called as he and the rest of his family showed up.

"We're here, Koji!" Kari called as they all tried to hurry to him, but Daemon unleashed a series of flames to keep them away from him.

"Do not interfere!" Daemon warned.

"No one messes with my brother but me!" Musuko claimed. "AeroVeedramon, get that freak!" AeroVeedramon flew right at him and tried to strike Daemon down, but Daemon caught his arm and simply tossed him aside like he was a small chair.

"You just don't seem to learn." Daemon taunted. This wasn't looking good for them, but they had help arriving. A shadow formed over Daemon. When he looked up, he saw MagnaAngemon arrive and tried to save Koji as well. MagnaAngemon came down with his sword, but Daemon moved back and avoided him.

"Musuko! We're here!" Benson called as he, Mason, and Natalie arrived with Musuko surely glad to see them. "Get him, MagnaAngemon!"

"Soul Vanisher!" MagaAngemon struck the ground with his sword and created a strong shockwave, but Daemon crossed his arms and was able to block that attack as well.

"Wing Blade!"

"Flower Cannon!" Garudamon and Lillymon tried attacking together, but Daemon held up his arms and was able to block both attacks with just his mere hands.

"He's still too strong for us!" Natalie said as none of them liked how this was shaping.

"Exactly. Do you kids understand now that none of you are a match for me?" Daemon said. "You simply don't have the power to defeat me, and you can't send me away like your parents did. I suppose I should actually thank them for that. During my time in the dark realm, my power has only grown stronger. None of you can match my power now."

"We'll see about that because there are five of us now!" Musuko said as he had faith in his brother. "Koji! Get your digivice! It's time to fight!"

"Okay..." Koji said as he reached in his pocket to pull out his digivice, but he wasn't even sure what to do. When he got it out, that is when Vilemon made his move. He flew in and yanked the digivice right out of Koji's hands. "Give that back! It's mine!"

"No! I got it boss!" Vilemon called.

"Give that back!" ShadowWereGarurumon called as he jumped right at Vilemon with Vilemon scared on what ShadowWereGarurumon is going to do him. However, ShadowWereGarurumon was blasted right out of the air by Daemon.

"Good work, Vilemon. Hold it until I'm done here." Daemon said. "Now for you, little boy." He said as he turned to Koji.

"Just stay behind me, Koji." Gatomon said as she was going to do what she could to protect him.

"We'll all protect him." AeroVeedramon said as all of the digimon gathered around Koji to ensure that he is protected.

"Koji, come here!" Kari called. "Let the digimon handle this!" Koji did what she asked and tried to hurry to him.

"I don't think so!" Daemon shouted as he unleashed an intense blast of flames. All of the digimon got blasted from it and Koji got separated from everyone else. They are in real trouble here. Daemon was about to attack some more and finish what he started with Koji. He unleashed another series of flames right at him, but he was saved again by another digimon with him using a shield and blocking the attack.

"It's WarGreymon!" Davis called as they were all glad to see him. Thanks to WarGreymon's shield, Koji was safe again.

"We're here!" All of them looked and saw the cavalry came as Tai, Matt, and Ken.

"Davis, we're going to need Imperialdramon!" Ken called.

"We can't! Veemon is down!" Davis called.

"Enough of this!" Daemon called as he's run out of patience. Daemon unleashed another intense wave of flames. The intensity of the flames were quite strong with them knocking all who would stand in his way out of the way. Now, he had a clear shot at Koji once again. "You're mine, little boy!" Daemon unleashed one more stream of flames once again with it heading straight for Koji and there is no one to protect him now.

"Koji!" Musuko called as it looked like this could be it. Koji was about to become ashes, but he was still saved...by ShadowWereGarurumon. ShadowWereGarurumon managed to push Koji out of the way, but he ended up taking the full force of the attack. He suffered from some severe damage from that attack and...it didn't look recoverable.

"ShadowWereGarurumon!" Koji called.

"Oh no!" Gatomon called. Both of them hurried over to him, but the burns were awfully bad. It... It didn't look like he was going to make it. "ShadowWereGarurumon! Say something!"

"Are... Are you okay, Koji?" ShadowWereGarurumon asked.

"You saved me..." Koji said.

"Of course I did." ShadowWereGarurumon said as he was glad to do it, but Koji was so scared and upset on what might happen to him. "Koji, you were the the first one to see the goodness in me, even when I didn't. You had me see that I didn't have to be evil when I thought I was. Thank you for having me see the light." Those were the last words that ShadowWereGarurumon said before he burst into data right before Koji's eyes. Koji couldn't believe that happened. He gave himself up so this wouldn't happen, and yet it still did.

"ShadowWereGarurumon!" Koji cried from seeing a life before destroyed. It was then that Koji's D-3 began to glow with intense power that was hurting Vilemon.

"Koji's digivice!" Musuko alerted as he could see the reaction.

"I can't hold it!" Vilemon called and was forced to drop it. When he did, Musuko caught it.

"Koji, catch!" Musuko called as he threw it to him with Koji catching it.

"No! Not him!" Daemon shouted as he knew this was trouble for him, and he was right. Koji was able to reach into the power that was within him with Gatomon feeling energized.

"Gatomon digivolve to..." Gatomon began to digivolve like the others as she was granted divine power. "Angewomon!"

"Gatomon! She digivolved!" Koji said with astonishment like everyone was. An actual angel of light shines down thanks to her partner that acts like an angel himself. This could be what they need to turn the tide against Daemon.

"Daemon! You attempted to spread chaos and destruction across both worlds. In doing so, you destroyed the lives of so many." Angeowomon claimed. "How can you justify all of this?"

"Justify? What is this? Some sort of trial? I don't need to explain myself to you or anyone." Daemon said.

"Is that so? You better repent for your actions while you still." Angewomon forewarned.

"Here's what I think of that." Daemon said as he held out his hand and was getting ready to attack her now.

"Heaven's Charm!" Angewomon acted before Daemon could. She formed a halo in the air and it spread over the area. It ended up paralyzing Daemon while giving the other digimon strength.

"What's this?! My strength is growing!" AeroVeedramon said.

"Angewomon is granting us power while draining it from Daemon!" MagnaAngemon said.

"This is our chance!" Lillymon claimed.

"Everyone, attack while Daemon is vulnerable!" Garudamon said. That's just what they all did. They all gathered as much power as they could, maximize their attacks, so that they can destroy Daemon once and for all.

"V-Breath Arrow!"

"Soul Vanisher!"

"Wing Blade!"

"Flower Cannon!"

"Celestial Arrow!"

"No! You can't!" Daemon called, but they can and will. All five of the digimon attacked together and Daemon was left defenseless. All of their attacks landed and caused a massive explosion with Daemon right in the center. That surely should have finished him off.

"Master Daemon!" Vilemon shouted as he couldn't believe what he witnessed. He got so scared after seeing that and flew off before the same thing could happen to him.

"We did it! We got him now!" Musuko cheered with all of the kids happy to see that Daemon was finally gone. As for the grown-ups, they were no less than amazed.

"Incredible!" Tai said.

"I'll say! They really did it!" Matt said.

"Musuko... Koji..." Kari mumbled as she was speechless at what she just witnessed by her own boys.

"Not only did Koji get his partner to reach the ultimate-level, but they managed to defeat Daemon when we couldn't!" Davis cheered. "Our kids are amazing!" It seemed like this was incredible, but Ken noticed something off right where Daemon was standing. Being a detective that he is, he investigated and took a closer look. "Ken? What's wrong?" Ken had a look and saw that pieces of Daemon's clothing and the pendent he wore was still there. Those should have been turned into data with the rest of him, but they were still there.

"I'm not so sure this is over." Ken said as something didn't seem right about this. If it's not over, what happened to Daemon? Is he really still out there?

...

Victory is short lived for the children learn that Daemon isn't defeated and appears to be to be even stronger now. His true form is revealed, but there is still a chance. The answer to defeating Daemon lies within a prophecy.
