When Daemon took Koji and Gatomon, he brought them to Highton View Terrace as part of his plan to force the gate open and to spread chaos and mayhem through both worlds. Musuko and the others managed to find him and attempt to stop Daemon, but they were still no match for his power. ShadowWereGarurumon tried to save Koji himself, and ended up paying the ultimate price. His sacrifice allowed Gatomon to digivolve to Angewomon. Her power helped them defeat Daemon...or did it?

Daemon's True Face
It seemed like the kids could finally get a break. They thought they finally managed to defeat Daemon, but Ken wasn't so sure. He went over to where Daemon fell and found bits of Daemon's clothes and accessories still around. He thought that to be rather suspicious.
"Ken? What's wrong?" Stingmon asked.
"It's Daemon... That was...too easy." Ken said. "Daemon was immensely powerful, even from all those years ago. He couldn't have been defeated this easily."
"You're overthinking this! That creep got what he deserved!" Musuko claimed.
"I'm not so sure about that, Musuko." Ken claimed. "Just look. This stuff were all on Daemon. This all should have been reduced to data if Daemon was really gone, but it's all still here. I hate to say it, but I don't think Daemon is truly defeated." None of them liked how that sounded, but then where is he? What could have happened to Daemon? As they were all trying to figure that out, they heard the honking of a car. They looked and saw a car pull over and saw it was Izzy, Cody, and Joe.
"Hey! We all got here as soon as we could!" Cody said. "Is everyone okay?!"
"Yeah, but barely." Davis said.
"Looks like we missed all the action." Gomamon said. "You see, Joe? This is what happens when you want to stock up on toilet paper."
"Toilet paper can make for good bandages." Joe said. "That's why I'm here. Who here needs to have a doctor take a look at them?" At this point, it might be all the digimon who need it.
"Guys, I've got good news. Oikawa messaged me and says he found a prophecy that might have a way to defeat Daemon." Izzy said. That is great to hear, especially if Ken is right and Daemon isn't truly defeated.
"What's a prophecy?" Musuko questioned.
"It's like a myth or legend that predicts the future." Natalie said.
"If the key to defeating Daemon is there, let's hear it." Benson said.
"Here's what it says." Izzy said as he pulled it up. "When the flames of the demon burn, destruction will spread across the land. The true face of evil will be revealed, and the flames shall consume even more. When the time comes, let the angel bless her light as her arrows fly through the sky. When light combines with hope and miracles, a brand new power will awaken that will destroy the demon."
"Does anyone understand what that even means?" Mason questioned.
"Well, the demon has to be referring to Daemon." Ken said. "He can use fire, and he's already spread destruction across this world and the Digital World. The rest of it, I'm not sure."
"Well, the last part has to be referring to his demise." Kari said.
"I wonder if Daemon knew about this, and that's why he did what he did. Maybe he was trying to prevent the prophecy from coming true." Matt said.
"Well, I say we talk about this away from here." Tai said. "Everyone is suppose to be meeting up at your lab, Izzy. Let's head there. I'm sure they're all worried."
"Yeah, and we need to figure out what this prophecy means. Let's get going, everyone." Izzy said. All of them were starting to leave, but Koji took one look back as to where ShadowWereGarurumon had fallen and hopes that he's at peace. If it wasn't for him, Koji wouldn't be here and they might not have found the power needed to defeat Daemon.
...
Vilemon
"This can't be! This can't be!" Vilemon complained as he flew around with him believing that Daemon was really gone. "How can Master Daemon be destroyed?! Oh man! I need to get out of here or else those kids will destroy me!"
"Vilemon! Over here!" Vilemon looked around for who called to him until he spotted someone in an alleyway. The appearance of who it was alone was enough for Vilemon to know who it was.
"Master Daemon! You're alive!" Vilemon called with joy as he came down to him. Daemon really did managed to survive, but his clothing looked a little worse for wear.
"Of course I'm alive, you idiot." Daemon said. "Still, what I was worried about is happening. Those kids are growing stronger. That last attack did manage to do some damage to me, but they have no idea what they've really done." Daemon was furious at those kids now. That's why he took what was left of his clothing and tore it all off.
"What are you doing?" Vilemon said.
"Those kids have no idea what they've just done." Daemon said as his eyes glowed ominously. Daemon's real face was hidden away in all that clothing, but not anymore.
...
The Lab
All of the kids and grown-ups met up at Izzy's lab. Many of them were glad to see Musuko and the kids were all safe and sound. They all wished this was over, but they're not convinced Daemon is gone. As the ones who weren't fighting were off to the side, Musuko and his team were with Izzy and his research team to try and learn more about the prophecy. If Daemon isn't really gone, they need to figure out how to beat him once and for all.
"This is certainly an interesting prophecy." Professor Takenouchi said as he studied it.
"Can you figure it out, Grandpa?" Natalie asked.
"Don't worry, sweetie. Your old grandpa certainly gained wisdom with his age." Professor Takenouchi said.
"What about Daemon's digimon?" Palmon asked. "Shouldn't we do something about his army?"
"I'm sure the local authorities can handle it from here." Biyomon said. "We need to be more focused on Daemon. It won't matter if he's still out there."
"Maybe we're overthinking this and Daemon is really gone." Mason said.
"Cassie's Dad didn't seem to think so." Benson said.
"And he might be right." Izzy said. "If this prophecy really is connected to Daemon, it's a clue to defeating him. We know he already spread destruction and mayhem, but what does this part mean? "The true face of evil will be revealed, and the flames shall consume even more". Does that mean that Daemon is going to become even stronger?"
"Stronger? We could barely harm him. How could he get any stronger?" Natalie said.
"But what that's part of an angel and arrows? What's this about combining light with hope and miracles?" Musuko questioned.
"Patience, kids. It's going to take us time to figure all of this out." Jim said as they tried to figure out what it all means. All the kids can really do is wait, but waiting isn't exactly easy for kids. As for Koji, he found a spot to sit and seemed lost in his own thoughts.
"You okay?" Gatomon asked.
"I feel like this is my fault." Koji said. "ShadowWereGarurumon is gone because of me. He tried to do good and look at what happened to him."
"But that wasn't your fault at all. You showed ShadowWereGarurumon didn't have to be evil." Gatomon said. "He did that because you helped him find the good in him. As for everything else, Daemon is the one to blame. He's the one that caused all of this."
"So why do I feel so bad?" Koji asked.
"It's because you're simply a good boy. That's why you have your mother's crest of light." Gatomon said. That did make Koji feel a little better. Just then, they all heard what sounded like an explosion coming from outside.
"That didn't sound good!" Veemon said.
"Outside!" Davis called. Musuko and his team hurried outside with each of their parents following after them. Everyone else remained inside and watched from the safety of the building. When they all got out there, they saw explosions happening across the city, and whatever is causing it is moving closer to them.
"What is that?" Mimi questioned as they were all getting a little scared.
"Brace yourselves. We're about to find out." Matt said. All of them readied for whatever it might be. It was all done by simply one individual. It flew across the sky and ended up landing right across from them. All the destruction was caused by just one demonic-looking digimon.
"Did you think you could escape from me? Did you really think you children could defeat me so easily?"
"Who are you?" Musuko questioned.
"Are you all really that stupid?" Vilemon said as he flew down and spoke to them. "This is Master Daemon himself."
"Daemon?!" Benson questioned as they were all surprised by his new look. "What happened? How did he change so drastically like that?"
"What you see before you is my true form." Daemon claimed. "Before, the mantle I wore wasn't just any other piece of clothing. It was enchanted with it limiting my power."
"Limiting your power? Why would do something like that?" Davis questioned.
"In the past, my power did get a little out of control. Even I couldn't fully control it. I was placed inside that to weaken my power." Daemon claimed. "The mantle aided in control, but now thanks to you kids damaging it...I can once again unleash my full power!" He shouted as he did just that and sent out powerful shockwaves through the air. It was like an immense wave washed right over all of them. The people inside could feel it, especially once the glass in the windows started breaking with the parents trying to shield their kids from the shards.
"Did you hear that?" Cody questioned.
"He's been limiting his own power?" Yolei said as they became fearful, remembering what he was like before.
"That means...he hasn't been using his full strength until now!" Ken said. They're now faced with Daemon at all his might, and there's no telling what might happen from here.
"Come on! We've got to stop him once and for all!" Veemon said as he and the other digimon charged in for a fight.
"Veemon digivolve to...Veedramon!"
"Patamon digivolve to...Angemon!"
"Biyomon digivolve to...Birdramon!"
"Palmon digivolve to...Togemon!"
"That is nowhere near enough to defeat me!" Daemon shouted as he unleashed some dark power and it all blew against them like a fierce wind. The digimon couldn't withstand it and were being pushed back and destroying some of the buildings.
"Kick it up a notch! We need to go all-out!" Musuko called. He was right about that. All of the digimon had to take it to the next level.
"Veedramon digivolve to...AeroVeedramon!"
"Angemon digivolve to...MagnaAngemon!"
"Birdramon digivolve to...Garudamon!"
"Togemon digivolve to...Lillymon!"
"Gatomon digivolve to...Angewomon!"
All five of them digivolved and tried to attack Daemon. Aeroveedramon was the first to attack as he swung his claw right at him, but Daemon met his attack and smashed his fist against AeroVeedramon, knocking him into a building. MagnaAngemon tried attacking as he swung his sword at him, but Daemon was able to catch it and threw him to the ground. Garudamon gave it a try as she swung her claw at him, but was able to catch it and throw her to the ground.
"Flower Cannon!" Lillymon tried attacking from a distance, but Daemon easily deflected her attack and sent it right back at her. Lillymon got hit by her own attack and was knocked out of the air.
"Pitiful! You've got nothing over me!" Daemon claimed.
"Celestial Arrow!" Angeowomon tried to attack, but Daemon was able to crush her arrow once he caught it.
"Even your little arrows don't have the power to harm me!" Daemon taunted.
"Arrow? An angel?" Ken questioned. "Wait! Izzy, what did the prophecy about an angel and arrows?" Izzy did a quick look over the prophecy.
"When the time comes, let the angel bless her light as her arrows fly through the sky. When light combines with hope and miracles, a brand new power will awaken that will destroy the demon." Izzy read. When he saw that, it all came to him. "That's it!" He said and hurried out.
"That's what?! Izzy?!" Tai called as he chased after him.
"We're getting nowhere like this." AeroVeedramon said.
"I think it's time we sent him where he belongs." MagnaAngemon said.
"Sounds good to me. You the lock and key on you?" AeroVeedramon questioned.
"Right here." MagnaAngemon said as he brought out his sword.
"Gate of Destiny!" MagnaAngemon formed the gate and had it open up.
"Push him inside!" MagnaAngemon said as the gate placed itself near Daemon. AeroVeedramon attacked as he tried to smash himself into Daemon and push him into the gate. If he's pushed inside, Daemon could be gone forever. AeroVeedramon tried to push, but Daemon held his ground against him and wouldn't budge. Instead, Daemon was able to lift AeroVeedramon off his feet and threw him against MagnaAngemon.
"Evil Inferno!" Daemon unleashed his flames and was able to blast both of them. AeroVeedramon and MagnaAngemon couldn't handle the intense power of the flames and were reverted back into Veemon and Patamon. Daemon really is more powerful than ever before if he beat both of them so easily.
"There is no one who can stop me!" Daemon declared, but the other three kept trying to do that.
"Vee! You okay?" Musuko asked as he and Benson aided their digimon.
"Barely." Veemon groaned.
"That's it! We can't just watch this!" Matt said.
"Agreed. Let's get in there!" T.K. said as the grown-ups were ready to get in there and join the fight.
"Wait!" Tai called as he and Izzy ran out.
"I think I figured out the prophecy!" Izzy said.
"You have, Izzy?" Kari asked.
"I have." Izzy said. "So far, everything has played out right. Daemon brought upon destruction, but there was also this part about his true face? It must have been referring to his true form, and that brings him to even greater power. You following me so far?"
"Yeah, but maybe speed it up." Matt said.
"Well, there's also about the part of the angel." Izzy said. "It's similar to when we fought VenoMyotismon. I should have seen that sooner."
"What do you mean?" Mimi questioned.
"Remember when Agumon and Gabumon became WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon for the first time?" Izzy questioned. "We did that because angels fired arrows of hope and light at the love ones their meant to protect. That meant that Angemon and Angewomon fired arrows at Tai and Matt because they were the loved ones of the ones the angels were meant to protect: Kari and T.K."
"Are you saying this is just like back then?" Davis questioned.
"Similar, yes. The angel that blesses us with her light has to be Angewomon, especially when it mentions arrows." Izzy said. "Makes sense since Angewomon is an angel and an archer."
"But what about that part with light, miracles, and hope?" Tai said.
"Wait a minute. Is it talking about the crests?" T.K. said.
"Yes! Exactly!" Izzy said. "It's referring to the crests of hope, light, and miracles. When light combines with hope and miracles, a new power will be formed. That means the powers of the crest of light has to combine with the ones or hope and miracles. Now, since the kids are the ones who hold the power of the crests now, who holds which of these crests?"
"The crest of light is my crest." Kari said. "The one who inherited it was...Koji!"
"Right, and who holds miracles and hope?" Izzy questioned.
"That would be Musuko and Benson." Tai said. "It really is just like when we fought VenoMyotismon!"
"Wait. I don't get it." Mason said. "What do we have to do?"
"All we have to do is have Angewomon shoot both Musuko and Benson with arrows of light." Tai said.
"Wait. Are you sure about that? This might be similiar back then, but that doesn't mean it is like that." Sora said as none of the parents liked where this might be going.
"Really?" Benson questioned. "What do you think, Musuko? Should we do it?"
"We have to." Musuko said with Benson thinking he's right. "Koji! Get Angewomon to do it!"
"What? You really want her to shoot at both of you?" Koji questioned.
"We have to, Koji. You've got to give Angewomon these arrows of light and have her shoot at us." Benson said.
"You've got to trust that this will work. It's our only chance. She'll only do it if you tell her to." Musuko said.
"Okay." Koji said as he trusted his brother and his friend. He reached for his D-3 and got it ready. "Angewomon!" He called and got her attention with her flying over. He used the power of the crest and his digivice shot a beam at her that gave her two arrows of light. "I know this sounds crazy, but you have to shoot Musuko and Benson with your arrows! It's the only way we can stop Daemon."
"Sounds crazy, but if you're sure..." Angewomon said as she turned to the boys.
"Wait! Are you sure about this?!" Veemon questioned.
"What if they're wrong?!" Patamon said.
"Come on, guys. Where's the faith?" Musuko said.
"He's right. We'll just have to trust this will work." Benson said. "Scared, Musuko?"
"No way. What about you?" Musuko said.
"No, but I...think I'll hold on in case something happens." Benson said as the two of them held hands and stood together.
"Get ready, boys! Here it comes!" Angewomon called as she took aim and fired the arrows. All they can do now is hope that this works. As the arrows flew through the air, Tai and Matt were met with a sense of nostalgia from seeing this scene and seeing the next generation stepping up to defend both worlds. Just then, both boys were hit by the arrows and a great light covered the field.
Both of their digivices were empowered as their crests shined through them. Both digivices fired intense beams that empowered their partners and the digivolve sequence was like before. The digimon were surrounded by pockets of space that made their new forms with data filling them out.
"Veemon warp digivolve to..." Veemon digivolved into that astral form with it now completed. He looked just like a blue dragon-like knight with a gold V on his chest and had a saber emerged out of the brace on his hands. "UlforceVeedramon!"
"Patamon warp digivolve to..." Patamon digivolved the same way with him gaining armor and five sets of wings. "Seraphimon!"
Both digimon emerged from the light and it was amazing. Musuko and Benson couldn't believe those two were really their partners. With these two, they might actually have a chance now.
...
A new power has awakened. With the powers of light combined with the powers of hope and the powers of miracles, the children might have a chance to defeat Daemon and end his terror. Is the prophecy true or was all nothing more than a myth?
